Wow wow wow! Must come here! Great food, amazing location, awesome staff, fab drinks and views and I can go on… our table sat outside and we sensed a huge storm coming in and it was packed on a Saturday but they relocated us to the bar area!! So attentive and fun here! Looks at these views!!! I think we got everything on the menu and it was all great! I thought the scallops were great but a little weird texture with the potato but that’s the only bad thing I have to say :)
We went to celebrate our 1st anniversary at this rooftop restaurant. Since we were early and we went on weekday we got the table easily. The 1 star deduction is because they don’t serve outside if you take seats at fireplace. It sounded weird to me when the host told us that we have to bring our food on our own if we have to sit outside at fireplace, so we decided to take table inside. Our server T was very nice and helpful. We ordered our entire meal including our beers on her recommendation and we weren’t disappointed at all. For first time I had raw beef tenderloins, although I was hesitant at first but she said try it and if I don’t like it they will work out something else for me. I had the entire appetizer, it was so delicious. We also had shrimp linguine for entree’s and it was good too. When we told her it was our anniversary she got us 2 glasses of champagne to celebrate along with our mouthwatering coffee crème brûlée tart. Thank You T for making our night special with your kind gesture and your smile 😊
I really enjoyed the roof top carnival upstairs. Lots of people, games/activities, music and fun. There was a wait to go upstairs but that is to be expected on the weekend. We had reservations here yet ... but we had to wait a while before being seated. Not sure why reservations are given if you still have to wait over 20 mins. We barely made it in there before they closed. Our server really made our night. She was fantastic and funny! Her recommendations were perfect! I ate the duck croquettes ( just WOW) ...I cant even explain the taste but worth the try. Now, my pork back sliders were FANTASTIC!!!! The special cabbage used in the sliders really made the difference. Such a crip yet lovely flavor. Best meal on the table. Full of flavor and juicy. Made everything else bland for me. My cousin ate here before Covid and the menu had changed drastically. Seasonal changes I was told. Not a lot of wonderful choices but what I ate was satisfying. The ambiance is nice especially sitting outside, near the fire pits and overlooking the city! The service we received made up for the wait and lack of great choices! Our server whose name I forgot is Asian( Philippine decent) and a fellow Leo. We appreciate you!! Perhaps next time we return it will be even better. Thank you.
I absolutely LOVE this place! Its my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. The waitstaff is very hospitable. The food has ALWAYS been delicious and worth the price. I strongly recommend A)making a reservation, it saves you money on your bill. B) Celebrating a special occasion here because they really take care of you.
Overpriced. Skip it and eat at any restaurant on the first floor. Okay, the drinks and fried Brussels sprouts were very good. However, my $32 scallop dish included three nicely cooked scallops but also some flavorless undercooked fingerling potatoes, mediocre asparagus and some uninteresting red sauce. My chef brother found the beef patty was previously frozen. My husband said ribs were meh. Desserts included a cold chocolate ganache in which we dipped small pieces of lemon poppy seed cake (weird). The hostess was unwelcoming and a bit rude. I would have been more satisfied at Eats.
The atmosphere and view is stellar. Our server Aja was AMAZING. The manager (can’t recall her name) is a BOSS. Our experience however, went from 5 stars to 3. The drinks were strong and well crafted but we waited an hour and a half for ok food. The view doesn’t make up for that. I think the kitchen staff got behind and couldn’t catch up. I so wish we’d had a better experience. It was my sisters birthday and she left disappointed. I will probably give them another try in the future and hope for better results.
I had a horrible experience. I would prefer a manager contact me directly do that I can detail everything that went wrongUpdate: I went back in June and had a bad experience however the experience I had last evening was nothing short of amazing. Johnnie and Tempest gave us such a great dinner and totally made up for my birthday dinner. All the food was amazing and their number 2 old fashion was/is now my favorite old fashion in Atlanta. I will definitely be back
I went here on a Saturday for brunch and it was amazing! I did not have a reservation so I had to pay $15 to get in but it was totally worth it! I sat at the bar and both bartenders were very welcoming and energetic and the drinks made were amazing!! I ordered French toast, two sausage patties ( you really only need to order one because it’s huge) and grits. The French toast was out of this world!!!! The grits were creamy and delicious!! The bartender said I wouldn’t need syrup for the french toast and he was completely right!!! Syrup would have ruined the french toast!!! Amazing atmosphere, food, and service. I will definitely be back!!!
Nice vibe and really good drinks. Food was okay but not great. Our server (Ty)was super upbeat and accommodating. He made the experience great! Food wasn’t super hot and poached eggs over cooked for brunch but it did have good flavor. So it could have been rushed because it was really busy. Nice rooftop area although it can get pretty hot up there on a Georgia summer day.
Big big thank you to the manager Chris who made our experience that much more special. He went above & beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience & you can tell he truly cares about providing an exceptional experience for his guests. My husband & I will certainly be returning. The food coupled with the outdoor ambience was spectacular. The vegetable curry was perfect! Definitely would recommend checking it out.
Jasmine was our server on a recent trip. She was training another server and was very attentive and sweet with our kids. We brought four kids age range 5-14. We are trying to teach them how to be good patrons at restaurants but I would normally say that this is more geared toward adults or older kids. She was great to help them understand menu items and make recommendations. The Duck and Tuna were some of the best Ive had. Great food + service, and beautiful views.
9 Mile Station is a vibe! The rooftop that looks out on the city is the perfect photo drop! The food was delicious. The scallops cooked perfectly. Our waiter, Michael, provided the absolute BEST service Ive had anywhere since forever! He truly made the review a 5!!!! You will pay a deposit when you make your reservation but it goes towards your bill. This makes you feel like youve spent less when you get the bill (although you actually already paid, but you still feel that way). Oh, and dont forget to pay for parking...
Food was good and served pretty quickly during brunch. Monkey bread was not worth price, very dry. Main brunch dishes were great. Mimosas were smallish but tasted good. We tried a little of everything. Making the reservation ahead of time saves you the fee to access the roof. Great views up there.
We celebrated our friends birthday here.. The location, the view and ambience is awesome! The food is good, but they have very limited options for vegetarians. The servers were friendly but seemed confused! They gave us the same dish three times when we just ordered for one. But overall, it was a good experience.
Our service was nothing short of amazing and the food was so unique and interesting. The only reason for the drop in the star was the steak, while it was fantastic, was a bit over salted, which really took away from the quality and flavor of the meat. We had multiple appetizers, multiple entrees, and every dessert on the menu. Such a great view and experience.
Took my parents here for noon brunch on a beautiful Saturday in April. Had a great experience overall - great view and good service. Food was just one notch down from great - well call it good though. Disappointed they were out of Monkey Bread, pancakes and they had no coffee - makes one question their ability to plan as noon wasnt that early given their brunch hours - not sure how much else they ran out of later. Parents liked their brisket hash. Wife liked her French toast with raspberry sauce. I had the Croque Madame which was too bready with hardly any ham - and the egg on top was not cooked enough. Pricing was reasonable and we had some good drinks. Would recommend for others but its more about the experience than the food alone...
With covid cases hitting 1 million people per day, the hostess stand needs to take some rudimentary lessons on social distancing dinner patrons . I had a dinner reservation Sunday night January 2, 2022, around 8pm for a party of 3. We requested to be seated outside away from inside crowds. I observed 4 to 5, 8 top dinner tables . Only 1 other party of 4 was seated at the time. Our party was sat on one side of an empty 8 top. The next party of 4 was sat at our table on the other side, while there were 3 other empty 8 tops still available. I protested to the hostess, who reluctantly moved the party to an available empty 8 top. The very next party of 4 were seated at our table, I believe on purpose, while 2 empty tables were still available. Needless to say, this made for a very uncomfortable dining experience. My compliments to the wait staff, bartenders, chef and line cooks. My meal was excellent and the cocktails were scrumptious.
Servers were prompt, though it was a bit confusing as to who our actual server would be at the beginning. About 3 different people came out to serve us at the start. No big deal though. Ty and Jasmine were great! This restaurant has incredible views of the city and makes for great pictures. The inside is a bit compact so its probably best to sit outside for some breathing room. I think the menu is a bit limited in terms of food options but theres a lot of drinks to choose from. The food was absolutely delicious and was served fast! Their pork belly sliders (appetizer) are the real-deal-holyfield. My only real gripes are that although the food tastes great, I think its a bit overpriced. The entree portions are relatively small. Youre probably better off ordering an appetizer or two to fill you up. This place is not cheap and I think they could give you a little more food for the prices. The salmon I ordered was no bigger than my fist, not very thick, and it came with a small side of some sort of peas or beans (Im not sure). It was very good but I was still hungry (and Im a slim guy). Also, the wooden benches outside are pretty hard and not very comfortable. Finding parking is a bit of a job as well especially if you come on a weekend. Be prepared.
This place has the best view in Atlanta to bring you there and good food and drink to keep you there. I had the #3 Old Fashioned, and it was a close to perfect as Ive had. Bring your sunglasses during the day, and a light jacket in the evening, and be prepared to have fun. It is not cheap, but special things rarely are. This is a one-of-a-kind place to visit.
Made a $50 deposit for a reservation for two that was never credited. Not only did we still have to wait 45 minutes to be seated, we did not even get to sit outside, which is what was requested. Service was slow. The owner was in t shirt and jeans?? I thought this was a high end place- I guess not. Kind of sad when the burger is the best item on the menu in a upscale restaurant. Drinks felt like they had half shots in them. Honestly, keep my deposit, you guys clearly need it more than I do, LOL.
On top of Ponce city market is this restaurant that offers a great selection of food options and great views. First of the food was really good. Enjoyed the mussels and our dinner options (salmon and the meat trio). Obviously they have a mixologist making drinks because they were very good. Now let’s talk about the views from the roof, I’ve added a few photos of what I thought was very scenic. Definitely try this restaurant for dinner but if not for dinner go for drinks and just sit and look and realize how pretty the city is.
Lets start with the good. The view was amazing. Lots of great photo opps. The atmosphere was amazing inside and leading up to the restaurant through the Market. Now the actual restaurant part... We had a reservation but it still took a few minutes to get our table ready no big deal. Our waitress although Very nice wasnt very attentive at all. After we were sat by the silent hostess. It was a solid 10 minutes before we were greeted by our server or offered drinks. After ordering the drinks took forever to come. I think they came after our appetizers and entree. I asked for a condiment it took forever and a reminder for her to bring it. The food came out really fast. The food was meh at best. Way overpriced for what you got in terms of flavor. The drinks choices were minimal as was the entire menu. Which is why I was surprised the few items on the menu werent done to perfection. We often looked around for our waitress to no avail. Even closing our tab was painstaking. She dropped the check and was gone for another 15 plus minutes. Luckily they can close you out right at the table on the electronic device. The restaurant wasnt packed. There were several empty tables and other wait staff. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant for drinks, food, or service. The best part is the view and it can be seen from other parts on the roof.
I have already highly recommended 9 Mile Station and will continue to do so. The panaramic view of Atlantas skyline is spectacular. The service was welcoming, knowlegable and honest. The cocktails were like a breath of fresh air and the food was well worth the price. I look forward to dining there again very soon!
First time trying out the restaurant waited 25 minutes in line to be told that reservations needed to be made online and there was no availability left. We arrived at 7:30 and in addition to the long wait we were never told that there was first come first serve seating outside. The hostess stand seemed confused and unorganized. We had the spinach dip appetizer , the pita bread was super hard but the dip itself was OK. The drinks are pricey and small but the atmosphere was nice. We didn’t want to eat dinner at the bar which is small so that was all the food we had. It cost us $15 to get upstairs and we wanted to dine there so it was a disappointment for sure.
I hosted a brunch here for the Beautiful Boss Queens “You Go Queen” event and Calisa really took care of us. 💞✨ We had reservations for 12 near the edge of the rooftop where the views were beautiful. I choose this spot because of the views and the vibe but after tasting their tasty drinks and appetizers I can say the food was just as good! There is a reservation fee for $25 that waives the rooftop access fee and goes toward the bill which I loved. (Highly recommend reserving your table) However I wish you could split the check, that made things a little confusing towards the end but we got it squared away. The service from the wonderful servers and music made the event so much better. BBQ will definitely be back to host another event here. Thank you so much! 💕 Oh and the lovely hostesses were so nice and understanding when we arrived a few minutes late. If your a Boss Queen and would Ike to join our group search Beautiful Boss Queens on Facebook and join the group. 💕✨
There is nothing but good things to say. We did not have a reservation and were offered to dine at the bar. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Drinks were excellent, food was absolutely delicious! I wish I could remember the bartenders names cause they were amazing. This a must do when in Atlanta.
My wife booked a table here for my birthday. We arrived, were seated and ordered drinks… right off the bat, the person who delivered our drinks snd appetizers spilled an entire glass of water all over my lap and into my shoes. We were seated in front of a door that had a horrible draft so I literally froze. Then I was told my drink order had been lost by the bar …. though everyone else received their drinks ordered at the same time. The food was great! Room temp but really good. Then, a patron from the area behind us (a white male) stood next to our table uncomfortably staring a hole through us then started asking us our names and touching my back and shoulders… this went on for at least 5 minutes. We brought this up to our waiter who was very nice but didn’t seem interested. Personally, I will never be back. This was an absolutely horrible experience of a place where my bill for the bare minimum basics was well over $200.
Had an absolutely amazing time at 9 Mile. My server, Garrett, took really good care of us on our date night. He suggested all of his favorites and everything was so so tasty. The vibes, ambience, music...and everything was so great. The sunset and skyline is breathtaking. So happy I was able to visit and it won’t be my last time.
This place was a dream, I can’t wait to go back and bring so many of my friends and family. The only complaint I had was that the mussels were sooooo small. I believe if I’m paying that much for that dish the mussels should be bigger. Other than that it was amazing. We sat outside and got to watch the sunset while eating. Drinks were greattttt. Atmosphere and vibe were so on point, staff was amazing as well. I’m hooked 💕💕💕
Lovely sunset views, festive yet relax atmosphere. Food was outstanding but small portions for the price $$$$ (our bill was $1000). It was too crowded considering we were still in the middle of Covid so I think they should have limit the number of people. Overall, I may return when less crowded. Prepare to spend about $100 person with tip.
Great experience and vibe! Their menu changed based on the season according to our waiter so that was super unique. We came to celebrate my partner’s birthday and they gave us a complimentary shot so that was really nice!Unfortunately for what I paid, the entrees were so disappointing. We got the roasted chicken and it came with pre set eclectic sides. Chicken had a nice char but completely no seasoning. Plain and simple, it just wasn’t good. Fancy plating arrangements won’t change how food tastes. Now the appetizers were fire!!!! The brussel sprouts and bacon spinach dip did what it needed to do. Both were so delicious and flavorful. I probably may only come back for appetizers and the view but the food was not good. Check in process was also not smooth becsuse we had online reservations that were booked 2 weeks in advance. We had to still stand in the long line with people trying to get a ticket. I’d recommend a smoother check in process.
Even though we RSVPd and paid the $25 per person via the web my wife and I were not on the list when we got there but were allowed to enter shortly. After ordering our food and drinks we waited quite a while until our waiter asked us if we had ordered yet (this was the same who took our order). We finally received our drinks which were not worth the price paid. After waiting an additional undetermined amount of time we got the order although it was not particularly warm but not cold. To make everything worse when we did get the check they did not calculate in the $50 deposit provided by the RSVP. When we reminded them of the deposit they stated that we were not in the system but would check. Thankfully the waiter came back with a corrected check... it is a good thing we had an email confirmation for the RSVP.Lastly we did not get to the advertised Skyline Park. It was closed off due to a private event.
Listen, if you love to brunch like I do check them out! I planned a brunch for my friend’s bridal shower and we had a great time (group of 20). We only had flowers on the table because they will not allow a lot of decorations. This was fine because the view of the city was to die for and the weather was perfect. Our server, Ava was super delightful and helpful! We paid a $250 deposit to secure our seating, which waived the roof access fee that you would normally pay and it went towards our bill. The menu had plenty to choose from and everyone loved their food. Some friends ordered the shrimp and grits and were disappointed because it was a grit cake verses regular grits but that’s on them because they didn’t read! Lol. I ordered the pecan pancake stack, eggs, bacon, and potatoes and it was GOOD! Knowing the restaurants rules helped with everything. They only split checks evenly up to 4 cards, so bring cash a split it down the middle (less of a headache).
If I could give six stars I would! This was my first time here, and I will definitely be back!I made 5pm reservations on a Friday evening. I arrived on time and was immediately seated. This may seem small, but I have definitely been places where I still had to wait for a while even with reservations. All of the staff here were friendly, from the hostess downstairs to those at the entrance of the restaurant on the roof. And our server, Shannon, was hands down one of the BEST waitresses that I have ever had! She made amazing cocktail recommendations, was professional, and anticipated our needs as though she could read minds! I am quite sure that even if the food was so-so (not that it was, see below) I would come back just to sit in her section because she was an integral part of this great experience! Now, the food and drinks. Everything was exquisite! Myself and my Aunt, collectively ordered the duck confit croquettes, bacon spinach dip, shrimp linguine, and the burger/garlic fries. Everything was picture perfect and tasted so good; I thought that I was going to need to be rolled out of that place. The drinks we had The Apricot Sidecar and the This Cocktail Hits Different, were mixed to perfection and complimented our food perfectly. Sip slow though because they are using the good stuff here. The views were as breathtaking as pictured on the website and the music selection was perfect (not too loud or soft). Just a perfect evening that was much needed!
I went for my fiancees birthday celebration with just two of us and it wasnt a great experience. We werent even told the last call for the drinks and when asked we were told the bar had closed. Servers though were good but continuously keep coming to clean up after the kitchen was closed. No specials for birthday cakes or deserts. Food was okay. The views were good.
Very beautiful and classy restaurant if you are looking for a rooftop dining or a romantic date. They got the lovely vibe and the ambiance. Best place to watch the Atlanta skyline and sunset. They got some interesting cocktails in the menu, tasted really good and premium.
Completely overpriced, zero percent worth it. Made reservations for an outdoor table, it was directly in the sunlight (for 10 people). There were identical tables, no one there, in the shade. We asked to move, and the nasty, rude, attitude girl said some excuse like our tables are rearved specifically....we sat there a drank and The for almost 2 hours and none of those tables were sat. Ridiculous. Rude staff, overpriced, garbage water downed drinks. This is Atlanta, one of the top food destinations and I promise you there are far better places to spend your money.
This restaurant was a highlight of my visit to Atlanta. This restaurant is on the roof of the Ponce City Market. I read through some Google reviews before making a reservation and Someone suggested making a reservation for an hour and 45.minutes before sunset in ordee.to see the sunset while dining. We were seated an hour before sunset and it was perfect timing. We were seated outside on the side of the building where the sun would be setting. It was beautiful to watch. The weather was perfect! I didnt see any awnings near where we were seated so I dont think the seating would be available if it was raining. They do have indoor seating. The cornbread was amazing. The jalepeno butter gives it a nice kick. We got a few of them to go😜. The chicken wings were also really good! Fried to perfection, not a lot of batter. The ribs were also good. Staff wore masks and the tables were socially distanced. I look forward to coming back to this restaurant. There is also miniature golf, a slide, and some amusement park type games on the other area of the rooftop once you you exit the restaurant. On the first floor of Ponce City Market are many different eateries. There are also a couple ice cream shops if you decide to indulge after dinner at 9 mile station🙂.
This was my first time here and I must say it was AMAZING! From the scenery to the food to the service, it was great. The line was a little long but since we had a reservation we were taken immediately to be seated. Our waitress Trace was absolutely EVERYTHING!! She gave great tips and pointers about the drinks and food. I had the pimento cheeseburger and it was good, however the pimento was more of a sauce. I was hoping for a more homemade version but still great. Definitely a romantic and lovely atmosphere.
Had to wait a long time for a table with a reservation. They then tried to seat us at a fire pit which is not a table. Multiple items were sold out on the menu. One person in party wanted her eggs hard boiled per advertisement of eggs “any way”. Was told “the kitchen doesn’t want to do that”. Excuse me what?! Then some of the party went to the restroom but there was no toilet paper in the restroom. Told wait staff and response was “we’ve had a lot of issues today” instead of trying to rectify it.It’s clear the restaurant should not have been open today. As someone who lives in Atlanta I will not be visiting this restaurant any more…they have lost the ability to earn my business and there are plenty of better restaurants to visit.
The experience my friends and I shared on yesterday, is one that Ill never repeat, nor would want anyone else to go through. We were treated subpar. Our reservation/money, and time was disrespected. And unfortunately the food didnt make up for the poor management and customer service. Our waitress was next to Perfect!
Everyone at the table agreed that the food was mediocre, but the views make the experience! There are both indoor and outdoor seating options. It’s a great spot to watch the sunset, celebrate a birthday, bring visitors from out of town, and get great shots of the Atlanta skyline.
Service over exceeded expectations, upscale casual fun crowd. Everyone’s laughing enjoying the classy atmosphere and beautiful views. We met some cool Italians from jersey. Drinks were strong and tasty. My appetizer belly sliders had a tender , flavorful but delicate taste. I will be back for the sunset view and the main course. I would love to see more meal options. There are games, slides, folding plus more located right before this amazing socially fun entertainment spot.
Stay far away. Our party of 4 showed up on time for a 7:45pm reservation. When we arrived we were told there were two parties waiting to be sat ahead of us and that we would need to wait. After waiting 30 minutes I inquired about the wait and was told that there were now 5 parties in front of us. After waiting an hour past our reservation time, we ultimately decided to cut our loses and leave. I’ve never experienced something like this in my 20+ years dining in Atlanta. Clearly management needs some serious work.
My husband and I went here for(a much needed) date night. I am so glad he chose this place for us! The customer service was top notch & our waiter(I wish I could remember his name) was great & very attentive. The view was AHHMAZING!! The sunset & the Atlanta skyline was so nice.
The customer service and the food was great..Definitely a romantic place for my husband and I to have brunch. The ambience can definitely be romantic, we sat outside in the headed patio. I had the short rib has and my husband had the shrimp and grits. We loved the food and out waitress Bethany was soo hospitable. Will definitely be referring this spot to family and friends when the visit
The food was good and the service was fast.I wish that the brunch menu had more on it. Especially chicken and waffles. I also wish the reservation system was a little different. I was told it is a reservation but its first come first serve. Very weird when putting down $200 for a reservation fee. Waiting 45 minutes after my reservation time almost caused us to miss brunch.
The food is great but cocktails and city skyline views are why you stay. The menu is small and selective but well throughout and each dish has its own appeal. The ravioli was a little underwhelming in potion side for the price but the patty melt with mushrooms more than made up for it. The cocktail menu is vibrant and refreshing with classics and new creations that will sure to keep the tabs open.
Such a nice restaurant with an amazing view!! The food and service were amazing. Definitely recommend for a date night or evening with the family. The drinks were really good, and the ice skating rink was really nice as well. Mussels, spinach dip, shrimp linguine, and the margaritas were amazing!
Finally found a place that does eggs benedict right 👌Great atmosphere and service and the food was pretty well made. We got the steak and egg sandwich and eggs benedict for lunch with a view. The stick bun was HUGE. They suggested it be for 4 people but maybe if they dont eat anything else. Overall great experience
Im surprised the reviews for this locale are what they are. I absolutely loved the view and the drink selections. Our food was good. We thoroughly enjoyed the Mixed Grill. Ive had better mushrooms in the city ( Cooks & Soldiers, Iberian Pig). These certainly werent bursting with tons of flavor. The chicken on the BBQ skewers was a little dry, but the flavor was wonderful. Ill be returning for brunch and drinks. At $20/person to reserve a spot, Ive already covered most of the cost of a bottle of wine in advance. I like it.
I am visiting Atlanta for the weekend and my friend took me to 9 Mile Station and thank God she did ! I am a self proclaimed foodie and EVERYTHING about this restaurant was epic ! From the craft cocktails to the duck confit croquettes, the scallops, and finally the creme Brule I was in love with it all ! I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys fine dining!
It’s the Ruth’s Chris prices for the Popeyes customer service for me😒. We had a beautiful dinner planned for very special women in Atlanta. The host (Spinelli) was not accommodating as she continued to fabricate that she was indeed the manager on duty and gave our table that we reserved away. After waiting approximately 2 hours to be seated, the official manager finally provided us with rude customer service as well. After he became knowledgeable of who the members of our party were, ONLY then did he provided us with great customer service and included free drinks while we waited. Once seated our server completed the night with her expertise in customer service and hospitality, she was accommodating and respectful (WE THANK YOU).As for the manager and hostess on the night of April 23, 2022, the company should enroll you all in Chic-Fil-A training courses because it’s needed! The moral of this review #DOBETTER
This is the ultimate date spot. Its was beautiful. Its on a rooftop which gives you the beautiful landscape of the city. The customer service was amazing, so kind and efficient. Great food and drink choices. Their drinks change all the time because fun fact the waitress gave me was, they allow the bartenders to make and design their own drinks. Which made it very personable. This restaurant is definitely a hangout spot for any occasion.
This place is a hit or miss. The service seemed disorganized. We had three different people try to take our order after we had been seated. I had the scallop dish which was amazing. Their creative use of Maitake in the dish was a welcome surprise. Their charcuterie board left much to be desired though. There was items like hot peppers that did not belong anywhere near a charcuterie board. A member of my party blindly trusted the menu and ate one. It was so spicy that it changed the entire trajectory of our day. I can appreciate wanting to add a pop of color to a charcuterie board, but at least have some tact while doing so.
I had reservations for May 7th for my birthday a party for 12 with an $300 deposit for 7:00 p.m. we were there an1 hour and 15 min and still no table so I spoke with manager about this situation and he treated us like we werent any considerations he didnt try to accommodate us not even apology he was very rude. Im hot 🔥 😠 going to the owner not stopping with his type management
I gave it a 3, because the food was absolutely delicious and the view was amazing. The two stars I didn’t give was simply because our server Taylor was the rudest person i’ve ever met. She didn’t smile once at us and it was my best friends birthday (which she knew). She treated other tables completely differently, we were being nice to her the whole time I didn’t understand her problem with us.
9 Mile Stations site says walk ins are welcome. After trying to make reservations on their site, & having it show times that were not actually available, I attempted a walk in Saturday evening. Yes, I knew it would be busy but there were empty seats at the bar. My party of 2 asked if we could go to the space available at the bar & we were told by the hostess the bar is for those w a reservation to wait for their reserved table. The point of a reservation is for a party to show up at that time & be out of the way because they already have 1 spot reserved. Not a table & spot at the bar reserved. Made 0 sense & the spot stayed empty for at least 10 minutes, so clearly no one w a reservation was worried about sitting there because they already had a table. Customer service was nonexistent at that point.
Where do I begin! (These pics were taken Sept 25). I made reservations so that we can skip the charge to come upstairs. This was a surprise birthday dinner for my husband with friends and family. We started at the cocktail table for drinks and apps and once half of the party arrived we were seated outside (recommended). Definitely try the pork belly sliders my husband ordered that at least twice. The seating was socially distant. Meanwhile watching the sun set over the city. The ambience and environment were perfect. The food blends with the experience. Our servers were so much fun and hilarious! We will definitely be returning.
Made reservations (which is $20 per person) for Sunday brunch. The reservation fee does go towards your bill, so basically you pre-paid for your meal. The sausage hash was ok, it was too many potatoes and not enough sausage. The smoked salmon was awesome, really good dish. We sat outside by the view point, it was a perfect view of the city, only issue is everyone wants to come take photos in that area.
My experience here was nothing less than amazing! The entire team operated like a well-piled machine from entry to exit. The hostess was super accommodating and inviting, the servers were attentive and polite, the bartender was full of thoughtful suggestions (wine pairings & the coffee crème brûlée dessert), the food was packed with rich flavors, and the manager (Tempess) made my evening special with her pleasant energy and warm smile. If I could rate this place 10 stars, I would!
I dont appreciate their reservation policy. After waiting an hour for seating with no indication of when my party of 6 would be seated; we decided to leave. A restaurant has no right to require reservations if they can not honor it! I actually witnessed a party of 5, which arrived after my party; get seated before ours and had the hostess deny that the situation even happened. We are VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
Extremely poor service from the host to the server. Host told me we cant sit outside even after seating others outside.. very strange. Then the server who had 4 tables was fairly absent and took forwever to do anything. The food was overpriced and underseasoned too! DO NOT BOTHER!
The view is spactacular. Trendy, rustic chic decor. The food is unconventional and delicious. The price for unconventional is a bit steep but the atmosphere makes up for some of it. Beautiful views of downtime, midtown and buckhead skylines. Watching the sunset here was amazing. Good wine list. Amazing charcuterie with accoutrements.... nothing spoke to me on the dessert menu. While there are sun umbrellas, I recommend enjoying this space in the early to late evening. Overall, an experience I would repeat.
My significant other and I went to 9 Mile Station last night on a whim, not knowing that you have to have a reservation to sit outside. We checked in with the hostess Alia and informed her we didn’t have a reservation, and she was kind enough to to seat us at the bar. Upon ordering drinks, we started chatting with the bartenders Starr and Tresa, and it was brought up that it was my birthday! Starr immediately went to the hostess stand and sorted things out with Alia trying to get us nice seating with a view for the sunset, while Tresa gave us complimentary shots. They seated us outside within MINUTES, and were SO accommodating. Starr came out and brought us glasses of champagne on-the-house, and then we met our amazing server Mickey who was so down to earth and friendly. She got me a blanket to keep warm and we chatted a little here and there with her all night. She was one of the best servers I’ve had in a while! Then Tresa came back out and brought us another fancy shot she’d made for us, and we were just so blown away by how kind they all were. We had the mussels as an appetizer, NY Strip and the Salmon and it was delicious!! I have to say, we went up there just killing time and would have been perfectly content seated at the bar, but these 4 ladies went out of their way to make my entire night so special. Whatever management is doing there, they’ve got it right! Thanks girls for an amazing birthday ❤️
I attended an event here and found the views of the city pretty spectacular. Because I was participating in dry January I was unable to try any of their signature cocktails, but everyone said they were perfect. The food was excellent, too! The staff, the service and the food presentation were perfect, too.
Great experience at 9 Mile Station for a friends bday. To start I ordered the “I need to speak to a manager” ($14) and it was refreshing and delightful. Once we sat down for brunch, I ordered the Eggs Benedict ($16) and I was hooked when I saw it came on a pretzel croissant. Our friend ordered two Sticky Buns ($16) for the table and they were instantly devoured. If you want something to share between 4-6 people, one of those sticky buns will be enough. When our food came, it was hot and delicious. The pretzel croissant was everything I thought it would be. If I’m back here again, I will make sure to order this again. It was just the right amount of food. The atmosphere and vibe of 9 Mile Station is unlike anything else in Atlanta.I highly recommend checking out this place with out of town friends or a date.
They charge $25 per person for reservation but do not sit you on time. The host had us wait for more than 15 minutes when there are open seats both inside and outside. We requested to be seated outside but eventually got sit inside at a terrible spot after all the wait time. So not worth it.
Worth every penny. The food here will knock your socks off! I am no professional food critic but I am a picky eater with a ton of dietary needs (not by choice) and the staff were kind and exceptionally helpful when recommending their dishes.I made reservations in advance and I suggest you do the same as its always going to be packed on a busy day. Also pro tip. If you want to go for sunset look up the time of sunset for that day and make the reservation for 1 hour to 45 minutes before then and request the west corner table outside. Your welcome 😜
I went with my friends as we thought this would be our new brunch spot.. and I definitely wont be back. It wasnt horrible, but I dont want to pay about $30, minimum, for fantastically mediocre food. To be quite frank, all you mostly pay for is the view, which is beautiful Ill admit. I had the steak and egg sandwich, which sounded promising on the menu, but was just pure disappointment when it came. Egg whites werent even set and the steak was burnt. My friend said her patty melt was dry and never got ketchup our waiter promised to bring. My others friends eggs Benedict were way too salty, according to them. There were little black and white things floating in our bottle of water. Just all around not great, not what I expected for the price. We left very regretful, but very sure that we wont return.
Whats the seasonal fruit?Dont ask me... I have no idea what theyre doing back there...*brings drinks out*I dont want to smell your beer... *smells the beer* Im not sure which is whichIt was all down hill from there. The manager was great but some things are just too funny not to make the review.
I went for the first time last night for a surprise birthday party, we resevered a small section of the rooftop patio with a breathtaking view for sunset. We split several of the meat and cheese boards which were delicious. I personally had a few cocktails and the patty melt. Easily the best patty melt I have ever had in my life - rich and greasy in all the best ways. The staff were all wonderful and helpful and personable and funny. It was a wonderful night and I look forward to planning another reason to come back!
Loved the view and ambiance! Came here on a first date at night. Chris was an amazing server and was really thorough with making us feel comfortable and welcomed! He brought us a glass of champagne and free dessert! They also just added new drinks to the menu, so there was a good selection to choose from. The food was a bit pricey but youre definitely paying for the experience.
Sydney, our server, was perfect! Her suggestions about food & drink were on point; she was kind, attentive & enjoyable. The food & drinks were delicious, thanks to Sydney’s recommendations! The reservation fee was worth it & the ambience was unique. We’d definitely go back next time we’re in town.
Nine Mile Station rooftop restaurant has been me and my husband’s favorite place for some years. All of a sudden we came back after a few months with our hearts ready for THE INFAMOUS TROUT CROQUETTES and they switched them for duck croquettes. Our hearts are broken! The duck is not the same at all, my husband and I were really sad about the change in menu! Please bring back TROUT CROQUETTES immediately!
The food was amazing, and so was our server! My boyfriend made reservations there for my birthday and despite us not having a whole party of people to sing to me, our server was so sweet that she sung happy birthday to me when she brought my dessert to our table! She was also extremely knowledgeable about the menu and took the time to talk to us about items on it, including the cocktail list. I chose one of the cocktails she suggested and loved it! 🤗🎆 Best birthday so far!
I absolutely Love this location ❤️ I was mesmerized by the View. This set up is AMAZING‼️ Customer service was good, the staff was so Pleasant 🥰 Very welcoming. The menu needs a little work though, especially the desserts. The side dishes needs more of a variety. Drinks were On Point and had fun watching the bartenders make it 😁
Great food, wonderful atmosphere!! Service could be a little better and more attentive but our waitress was super nice and was just busy! I ordered a rare tuna and it was pretty dry, but their Brussels sprouts are great! No negative review! Honestly the view was amazing, such a great place to catch up with my aunt that I haven’t seen in a long time.
I will say I had the WORST experience here. If you’re vegan, only eat chicken or fish DO NOT go here. They have no real food options. When I went to the bathroom I saw the chef and cooks were touching all over the food barehanded. Once I got my food there was a hair in it, I grabbed one of the managers and told them. I saw her take the hair off my plate and bring the same plate back to me. My husband and I left after that. Hate to be negative but on a positive note their servers are AMAZING , hard working and on top of it. Of course the views as well as the drinks are amazing! Would recommend just go there if you want drinks and BEAUTIFUL views. Very romantic.
The Rooftop at Ponce is perfect for any celebration. From birthday dinners, engagement celebration dinners, and even brunch. This is the perfect place to enjoy the views of atlanta. Would highly recommend having a reservation. The reason for 3 stars is the food. Generally is ranges from okay to good, but I don’t think I’ve ever had a great meal here. If you are looking for an excellent meal, i would reconsider. Drinks and views of the skylines however are almost excellent every time.
My husband and I came here tonight 8/6/21. Alex (woman) was our waitress and she was absolutely the bomb. She made my 43 birthday great! The fire pit and dessert she bought out was amazing! The drinks were on point! Customer service is great! She made sure we were taken care of! Thank you again
A waiter named Kendall, gave me an excellent service, and then the nightmare began!I give this place a 2 star rate, not because of their food, drinks or location, but because one of their waiters stole from me $100,00 dollars. Why not 1 star then?... Well the manager of that October 31 night, she believed in my claim (or at least didn’t discharge it) and returned me my 100 dollars that the waiter tried to rip me off.How this guy tried to rob me?Well, after receiving the 113,00 (or something like that) tab, I paid him in the following manner:1) Gave him a 20 dollar-bill as tip for his service. 2) I gave him a 100 dollar-bill and my debit card for the 113,0 receipt. So, he just had to charge me 13,0 dollars from my card, and put the 100-bill in the register. Instead, he charged me 100,0 dollars and made me sign an electronic device with a white screen in order to “confirm” the charges. Besides haven’t been offered a receipt, I trusted this guy and not even, asked for one. (FATAL MISTAKE)After a couple of hours before leaving the zone, I received and email of my bank telling me that I have been charged with 100,00 dollars IN MY CARD. So, I ran back to the bar and talked with this guy. Obviously he told me that, “I don’t remember that 100 bill, I just received your card and a 20 dollar bill”... lied to me right on my face. I didn’t loose my mind or calm, and I asked for video recordings or tapes.. but the manager told me that wasn’t necessary and gave me her word that I would be refunded.Maybe my first error was sharing with the waiter-thief that I am new in town and this is my first time in midtown Atlanta since I arrived to America 10 months ago. Well...Fortunately, the manager believed in my claim and today I saw the reimbursement in my bank account. (Or watched the security recordings)DO NOT PAY IN CASH, and ALWAYS ASK for your receipt!!!!I am very sad, because I thought that I came to a country with honest people in their businesses, and at least in MIDTOWN Atlanta I almost got ripped off / cheated / robbed in the same spot twice!: (waiter of 9-mile; and a bartender of a bar in the same rooftop but from a different business (located in a corner outside 9-mile) )I have met almost 100 amazing Americans and only 2 fraudulent ones!!Thanks...Rooftop Ponce City Market.
One star for the view, one star for the environment being aesthetically pleasing. The entrees were minimum $25 ranging up to $50. Food was by no means justification for the price. Dont get me wrong it was decent but this wasnt excellent food. Mixed drinks $12 minimum. I wont be back, but at least I got a few pictures out of it.
Absolutely magnificent views of skylines: Midtown, Buckhead and the Beltline area. I want this view at my disposal whenever I want to feel free and as if I had a helicopter that could swoop down and pick us up and cruise for hours. Thank you Sears for the memories. Take your time and have a marvelous experience on the ROOF and playing games at Nine Mile Station .
The view is spectacular but the food not so much. Our party ordered the sticky buns which were super dry and flavorless, the brisket hash which had a lot of fat, the pastrami Benedict which had over cooked poached eggs and the shrimp and grits which was a very small portion but tasty. I was surprised that the food was not that good and the menu very limited. I would go there again but only for the view and cocktails.

2022-04-25Our server Riley was incredible! Made us feel so welcome and always knew when to come back and check on us. She made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. We would love to thank her for helping us make our celebration for our grandparents 53rd wedding anniversary so special. The food was amazing and the view even better. We will most definitely be back!

2021-12-31Food and cocktails were great! Only one vegan option, but it is superb! Ambiance as well. One opportunity is prepare for smoother transition in case of rain. Also, spacing inside is rather tight considering pandemic.

2022-06-25Rooftop Bar and Kitchen. The ambiance, service, food and cocktails are EVERYTHING. My second time there—-my favorite to go to spot in ATL. This is a great place to just have a drink to catch-up or/and have brunch, date night, girls sip and chat outings. I recommend requesting outdoor seating during reservations. GORGEOUS and SCENIC rooftop view with cute intimate seating area overlooking the city view.I was visiting from out of town and met with friends for brunch. Everything on the menu is delicious. Waiters are on point. We had a GRAND TIME!Only cravat; you have to make a deposit for $25 per person to secure reservation which goes towards your bill. Do Not chance going there without reservations, I’ve seen them turn people away.

2021-12-29The food is above average. The ambiance if you sit outside on the rooftop is spectacular. Perfect music and private. Servers should wear masks but dont. Also make reservations early about a week in advance.

2022-03-23PROs:Food is above average and service is excellent. Beautiful view from the rooftop for miles in every direction. Good view if you are seated outside. Kitchen works like a well oiled machine. They have a limited selection for brunch but what they do have they do extremely well and it was enough choice for everyone. We visited for brunch.Sticky buns were a big hit by all and freshly madeAll food was well presented and very fast. One meal did not make it out so they quickly prepared another and sent it out complimentary. All meals were flavorful and the potatoes were the Fingerling variety. Plenty were served with each meal. The Croque Madame was enjoyed by both people that ordered it.CONs:The brisket hash was tasty although the brisket was served sliced with the grain instead of against the grain and while it looked good it was a little difficult to eat. Personally I think they could have upped it a notch by having smoked brisket. Also the amount of brisket in the meal was minuscule. I would say maybe 2 ounces max.The prices are a bit high but it is to be expected for an upscale restaurant. All in all it might be worth a visit during dinner. Reservations would be recommended.

2022-01-10If you’re looking for a cool spot for date night or just dinner with friends in Atlanta then you need to check this out. My husband took me for my birthday and despite the weather (it was raining so bad) I had a great time and enjoyed the food. I recommend making a reservation and after you do that once you arrive and check in, you will escorted to your table quickly. Also make sure to allot for time to park as it takes a little maneuvering to get to this spot since it’s on the roof of the building. We ordered the bacon and avocado dip with pita chips and the shrimp linguine which was SOOOOO GOOD!! The server (Anna??) was great! Since it was my bday they brought out this amazing desert and champagne. I definitely want to go back and maybe get an igloo. Those are hard to get since they book quickly. But either way, I can imagine if the weather is nice you can enjoy the views.

2021-11-02My second time visiting, this time for my anniversary. The food was excellent as it was the first time. Hubby had the vegetable curry. I had the salmon/succotash fondue mashup. You’re not just paying for the food but the ambience and views of the city. They have fire pits on the roof where you and a date can cozy up and watch the sunset. 10/10 I recommend. Get a seat on the covered/warmed balcony. If you make reservations ahead you don’t have to pay the $30 fee to enter the rooftop area.

2021-11-29First time visiting and definitely won’t be my last. The service was excellent and we got a table right away. The food was delicious, I recommend the pork belly sliders for an appetizer. I had the my strip steak for my entree and it was worth the price. My wife got the shrimp linguine which was perfect. Highly recommend

2021-08-05The Official Tracy Clubs Executive Board had brunch here. Food was exceptional. Atmosphere superb. Only suggestion is to have more covered areas for dining outside. Most people, including us complained about it being too hot. Once seating some were accommodated to another spot. We found some shade close to the brick wall and was fine. Overall a great experience.
