The guys were professional in their service. Easy to work with , reasonably priced and did not take long to complete the move. Exactly 3 hours from start to finish as promised without damaging anything. I will give them the maximum 5 stars and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for professional movers.
IF I HAD IT TO DO OVER, I WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY - READ ON FOR THE THINGS THAT HAPPENED BRINGING ME TO THAT CONCLUSION!!!! I have waited about 4 months from the time of our move to write a review in order to calm down and write an accurate account. When I was getting info and trying to arrange our move, Stephanie was very nice. However, when I questioned some fees, etc. she got very defensive and was abrupt and rude to me. Stating, well do you want to cancel the rest of the move! We were at a point where time was very important as we were closing on the house two days after the final day of the move. so there was no way we could cancel - I would have if it had been possible. This company was recommended and they were local to where we were moving, so that was an incentive to hiring them - boy, do I regret that decision. 1st, we were given a quote that was very competitive with other quotes we received - well, the final fee was TRIPLE the quote we were given. I might also add that we never got a contract or anything like that regarding the type of items covered on the insurance and those items they would not move. 2nd, the guys who arrived to move us where very polite and nice and the group leader told us that they could get all the items on the truck. That was far from accurate and instead of one day for the move, we ended up with a 3 day move. The guys didnt arrive until mid-day (yes, they had to drive about an hour to the moving site and we understand that), but it ended up being a very late night for us. The final day ended up being after midnight when we finished. Then we had to give an account of damages - there were scratches on the hardwood floor, a hole in a wall, electronic recliner that was inoperable and furniture damaged beyond repair. In addition to the items listed the final day of the move and as we have inspected the furniture - every piece of furniture had some sort of damage - some priceless antiques. They repaired the hole in the wall and put something on the hardwood floor scratch that made it less visible (but didnt actually repair the floor), they found the part to the recliner left in the moving truck and replaced it - however, it still doesnt work like before. They never responded to the furniture that was beyond repair (I later learned in a roundabout way that their insurance didnt cover that kind of furniture). They never even attempted to correct the scratches on the furniture. ONE OF THE WORST THINGS THAT HAPPENED - ALL THE DRAG MARKS ON OUR HARDWOOD FLOORS. THE MOVERS APPARENTLY DIDNT USE ENOUGH THICKNESS FOR THE PADS WHEN THEY DRAGGED THE FURNITURE ACROSS THE FLOOR and now we have drag marks all over the place. In addition, mirror backing is loose on some pieces - never tried to fix them. We finally got the glass to our corner cabinet about 4 months after the move. Make sure you know if there are items they will not move before you hire them. Also, I might add that they want payment at the end of each day - so I ended up writing 3 checks for the move. We also had to stay in a motel two nights because all our bedding was on the truck which they took to their location and left it for the night. I sent many many e-mails trying to get resolution on damages and the only response i received was that Stephanie was on vacation and would respond when she returned - didnt happen. I did get a response when I inquired about the glass shelves for the corner cabinet - but I had to go pick them up - they never offered to bring them to me. Because of the lack of response from the company, I reported the issues I had to BBB and BBB never got a response from the company. So we have two desks that are damaged beyond repair, drag marks on all our floors, scratches/nicks/scrapes that Ive had to repair myself. Ive already advised family who will be moving soon, to try someone else. If after you have read this, you decide to use this company, make sure you have a contract & full disclosure of time & fees you might encounter.
I have moved several times and this was BY FAR the worst experience ever. There were two team members who were excellent. The rest were so so. What should have been a 2hour move took 5.5 hours! I cant tell you how many times I heard one of them say, Im so hungry, tired, etc. I was so ready to be done with them that left quite a bit of things at my former home that I will now have to take care of. One of the guys actually laid down in my living room floor! He later laid down in my driveway. Two of the guys watched as I moved boxes so they could slide my hutch down where I needed it to be. It was totally ridiculous, very unprofessional. I should have refused to pay more than the truck fee. Bottom line: if you hiring movers that you expect to be efficient, DONT HIRE A MASTER MOVE. It was such a horrible experience. I am still trying to recover from it. I truly dont know how they have any good reviews.
A Master Move was the worst moving company that I have ever dealt with. My wife was a former military spouse and she previously moved a lot, as well as myself. I have experienced great services before and some okay service, but Master Move Moving Company was the ABSOLUTE WORST. They were unprofessional, extremely late and eventually backed out of our move because we were questioning their quoted charge on site which was different then charges that we had previously discussed when we made our reservations. The owner was extremely RUDE and unapologetic for his staffs tardiness and the lack of sufficient staff to move us.
Office staff were very helpful and quick to respond. Ace, Quinton, and Phillipe were all very attentive to detail, wasted no time, and cared for our stuff as their own.
Worst experience of my life. We used this company last June (2017) and it has taken me this long (over 9 months) to write an honest review. (I was so upset with this company that I didn’t want to post anything that I’d regret, nor just spout off incorrect information in anger). The lady owner (I believe her name is Stephanie), was very nice. That is the only positive thing I have to say about this company. They charge by the hour and spent more time smoking and talking than working (which increased our overall cost). They broke, scratched and/or ruined multiple pieces of furniture. I had most every box and piece of furniture labeled with its final destination (some stuff went into storage while the rest went to a rental house), yet they still SOMEHOW managed to leave them at the wrong place. They LEFT an entire load of items in the basement. So, on closing day, we were forced to rent a trailer and haul it off ourselves (as we couldn’t get anyone to answer their office phone, and we had to have the house clear to complete closing). Do yourself a favor and use a better company.
I would rate higher than five stars if I could. Great local family owned business that cares about you and your belongings. We had a 3984sf house on Lake Tobosofkee and lots of nice furniture. They moved the entire house in 2 trips and one day!!!! Professional and courteous moving crew, not one damaged item, and the guys never slowed down. I got a GREAT deal and highly recommend. Dont hesitate or call around for any other moving company! If you need a mover, call A Master Move... They took the worry out of our move, let them help you too.
Movers arrived on time, worked carefully and quickly to protect and move furniture, and delivered and set up. Job well done. They were friendly and courteous.
The absolute worst moving company weve ever used. I wouldnt use again if they were the last moving company on earth!!!! Totally unprofessional showing up late, not just a little late, but LATE, didnt call to say they were running behind, no word from them at all. We had to finally call an hour later, and there were no apologys. When they did show, things were hurriedly thrown in their truck, rushed to unload, they throw the paperwork at you to sign AFTER theyve unloaded and before you even have time to find ALL of the damages. Pointed out things they had broken and it was oh didnt apologize, no offer to fix, replace, NOTHING. We reported the damages and the owner (Jeremiah) could care less. We have items totally destroyed, one broken beyond repair, glass broken out of display cases and scratches like crazy because they didnt bother to wrap expensive furniture.Not sure how the other reviews gave them such high remarks, I personally think owners put false reviews on these things. I wish someone wouldve warned us before we used them.
Master Move helped us move recently. They did a fantastic job! Was professional ,on time was very helpful, I would highly recommend them for your moving job. I give them a 5 star rating.

A master movie is great. There team was very polite and hard working. They moved my 2500 square foot home from forsyth to Macon in a little under 5 hours. They were very gentle with my furniture and wrapped every piece safely. Thanks A Master Move for a great job.

They really listened to what I explained to them regarding my expectations. They sincerely noted down everything I asked. Therefore, I felt I was helped beyond compare. I expected the move to take 3 hours at the low, but the movers quickly got everything loaded on the truck a lot sooner.
I highly recommend A Master Move. The guys worked tirelessly from the time they showed up until the job was done. We had multiple truckloads of stuff to move. They were curtious and cautious in moving our belongings. As a real estate agent, I refer them to my clients when they ask for movers.
A Master Moving Pro more than met my expectations and needs in arranging for a truck and the personnel required to load it. Moving can be a pain, but A Master Move made it easier. Their movers arrived on time and went right to work without stopping until the truck was full. They were courteous at all times, even at the end of the day when I know they had to be tired. They loaded the truck, drove 150 miles, then unloaded it all in the same day. The charges were exactly what we were quoted.They even loaded extra items into our camper and pickup truck. When they left our new place, everything was in its place and set up. These guys went above and beyond to make sure our move was as easy for us as it possibly could be.
I used this company to move my Mom locally. Everything was wrapped and protected, including a number of antique items. No damage to any pieces. Courteous and hard working!

My disabled aunt and uncle had to move down to Florida near us. We rented a Penske truck from Stephanie and she said she had guys that could load the truck. We were quoted 2 to 3 hrs with 4 guys. It took them over 5. They spent more time complaining of the heat and being tired and taking breaks and smoking than working. They left cigerette butts on my walkway. It took them 20 min to figure out how to move a cabnet. One guy didnt know how to use arm straps to carry furniture. One guy actually complained when we didnt have tea for him to drink. We knew that we had more than what would fit in truck so we told them what was a priority to be on it. Left a shelf leaning against wall and when I asked about it the guy said oh guess we forgot. Didnt check truck when they said it was full as it was after 10 pm and we had little sleep the previous 4 days packing. Next mourning found they took items we said needed to be on truck moved to and left in garage, truck was not full and not packed well. Spent day putting in must have items and finishing the job 4 men couldnt do. Could not contact them afterwards, didnt answer phone, shop door was locked when we went by when they were open. Saw one of the guys who moved us he just walked by and hid his face. We were told that we would get two free days on the truck because they couldnt come until the day before we were to turn in truck. That didnt happen, had to pay for two more days. I had to go through the credit card company to pay only for the original quote of 400 dollars instead of the 750 that she charged because her men were unable to do job efficiently. Many items that they pack also ended up damaged.No record is funny.
Top-notch movers who say what theyll do and stick to it. No surprises, no damage, and no bull. Friendly, professional staff and the moving crew is fast. Well use them again and again.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t use this company! THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!! They have damaged our property, our house, and wasted our time on Mother’s Day after THEY set up the appointment to discuss the damages! We had to unwrap the items because they were too lazy to do it. The guys weren’t even going to hook up our bed correctly UNTIL I called them on it. Then the guy said they left the other parts at the old house. They even charge US there THEIR LUNCH BREAK!!!!! All the guys did was complain the ENTIRE TIME THEY were there. So when my husband talked to the “Manager” SHE SET UP THE APPOINTMENT for today (Mother’s day) to get everything straight! AND THEY DID NOT SHOW OR CALL! Will be filling every complaint I can possibly file against this company! PLEASE DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could put pictures up of the damages caused by this companySince Google will NOT let me respond to your reply about your “Discount....those discounts were the standard discounts. These were PRINTED on the invoice. Are you saying you knew in advance the workers were going to damage our property so you went ahead and gave us a discount!?!?!?!
The company is very professional. They were on time and efficient. We had nothing broken, and they even moved pieces of furniture to other rooms that were already in the house. I would definitely use them again.
Courtney and Martinez did a great job! They moved two huge dressers from a 2nd floor bedroom, and moved several other heavy pieces of furniture for us as well.
They were a little late but called to inform me they would be late. Unloaded truck quickly and with good quality.Very polite and respectful placed furturiture in location needed.

This company provides extremely poor service and ruined our furniture without apology. The movers didn’t show up until 1pm to move a 5 bedroom house, requiring working past 11pm. They put multiple holes in our walls in BOTH homes, scratches in our wood floors in BOTH homes. They more than scratched our wood furniture...took off chunks of wood on our pieces. Worst past? The movers attempted to hide what they did. We called this moving company three times following the move to report the shoddy job and to request they fix their mistakes. We did not get a return phone call or a return email. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Take pictures of the gas gage before and after you use the truck. They are robbers, they charged me for a half of a tank. I returned the truck to them at the 7/8 tank I got it at. Also they tried to tell me the truck was at a full tank, luckily I took a picture of what is was at.

2021-07-21A MASTERMOVE MOVING CO, was an excellent choice for our recent move. They came highly recommended and didnt disappoint! Not only were they professional, but the crew treated our belongings like it was theirs. The office staff was helpful and willing to answer any questions. They even called during the move to check on our satisfaction. Those guys were one hard working crew who never slowed down all day. Any move is stressful but A Master Moving Company went a long way toward making it less so. I would definitely use them again!

2021-09-24Where do I even begin… Three weeks ago i used these movers to move to a storage unit. I wasn’t going to waste my time even reviewing them because the damage they caused to my furniture was already said and done. I didn’t feel like arguing but after going back through the unit they moved everything into and seeing a bed frame legs and supports just thrown into the back of the unit leaving a gash down the side of a bed support beam, I changed my mind. They also left dents and a bent refrigerator handle. I had to go back and make repairs after they had moved everything out of my house. I would definitely not recommend this moving company EVER. Attempting to get ahold of the manager was a complete waste of time because they avoid complaints and never call back.Long story short… AVOID THEM LIKE COVID.Edit: because I leave them a bad review they report me to google. Wow. Instead of having your bad reviews removed, improve your business.

2020-09-23Our moving crew was excellent. They were efficient while also being very careful not to damage our belongings. The new house was just painted, and our crew made the effort to be efficient, keep a good pace, while also not damaging the new paint. They also had a great work demeanor, were very kind, and were very professional.

2020-03-17I have used A Master Moving Company three times since 2014. Each time they have been professional, courteous, and on time. Their price estimates have always been fair and accurate. The guys that came to our home were SO friendly and hard working. The last time we moved it was supposed to rain on our moving date. A Master Movers called us and reassured us that they would do everything in their power to make sure our items did not get wet. Then they gave us the option of moving a day earlier or later. That is going above and beyond for your customers! They were recommended to me, and I would recommend them to anybody.

2020-11-18Martavious and Mark, the movers, were very nice and they handled every thing I needed. They got everything I needed moved in one load because they packed the truck very well and nothing got damaged. This was the 1st time I used a moving company but if I have to move again I will defiantly call Master Movers. It was worth every penny.

2018-11-15They were okay. Decent experience. The woman at the office, Stephanie I believe, is very nice. The two men who moved the items were very nice, and my furniture was fine. And they were fast. They start the timer (for how much you pay) when they walk in the door which is good.However, they were 3 hours late without a courtesy call as promised. I called myself a couple times to find out what was going on. I found out they were struggling with a previous appointment and understand life happens, but I feel they should have given me a different time window and allowed for that. Like 1-4pm instead of 1-2. Then I wouldnt have been anxious.They also charge for a 2 hour minimum and I had 1.5 hours worth of work for them...so, the price was pretty hefty compared to the work load. $305. Thats with military and cash discounts. I needed it done so I guess its fine. Other moving companies prices are no better...Overall, its a good company if you dont have time constraints. Allow time to be home and wait.

2021-03-23This was our second move with A Master Move, and again our expectations were exceeded. The crew was fast an efficient, wrapping our furniture and loading items for 2-drop locations. This was a temporary move, so we will definitely be using them again in the future!

2017-12-16Oh my God, this company, Stephanie and the guys who came over today were excellent. I called a little after 1 pm and received a quote and excellent customer service. By 3pm the four man team were in route to my home. They arrived and promptly unloaded and connected all of my furniture and appliances. I would gladly recommend this crew. They were kind to my furniture and family. What a last minute lifesaver.
