Acorn guys worked quickly to trim 8 trees and take down 3. Clean-up was thorough. Very pleased with service and communication. This is the fifth time I have used Acorn and have only praise and compliments for their skills and work ethic.
Michael came out to give us an estimate on a white oak that appeared dead once spring had come on. He told us why it likely died. .. someone before had buried the trees flare and that cant be done. The proposal was fast and very fair. The team that came out was extremely professional and took time to answer our questions about a sweet gum thats starting to look sad too. They also were very tidy and conscientious of our lawn and not damaging it. I will recommend them to everyone and use them again! Great team!
The guys were awesome, so was the pricing and the work was completed and handled just as it was explained it would be handled from start to finish. It was fun for us to watch and we appreciate the excellent work of the crew all around. The only sign that such a big job happened on our property is that there are far less trees out back. I have used Acorn twice now. First time was to gave some limbs removed and trees pruned. The second time was to remove three dead trees. All work was done in a timely manner and professionally. They cleaned up and made it look like they were never there.
Tree removal went great. The crew was excellent. The job involved removing trees that were overhanging a dock and boats. When finished, the crew cleaned up and left as if they had not been there. Mark and his crew are to be commended.
From the initial site visit from Clint to the final removal of 9 trees, the service was excellent, professional and completed without delay. The set up and clean up was top notch. Would highly recommend this company for your tree needs.
The crew was professional and got the job done just as expected. They took care to limit any damage to our yard with having 6 large trees removed. They did a great job and I will use them again for future services.
Acorn Tree Care was very responsive to online request, Mike was incredibly knowledgeable and explained clearly our options and was honest and helpful. A few days later the crew came out and did a spectacular job, including the stump grinding. When the need arises again, Acorn will be on speed dial!

Acorn Tree Care is a great Georgia business!We have hundreds of trees so keeping up with tree care is important for the protection of our home, property and personal safety. I used one other tree company when we moved here 13 years ago and it was a disaster. After that, we called Clint and have never looked back. We know when we use Acorn we can expect the quoted price, a professional crew, and an overall excellent experience. It’s never fun to spend money on tree removal but sometimes it just needs to be done, and we always enjoy seeing Clint.Years ago we had a tree that leaned over the driveway. Clint didn’t think it looked healthy. I told him that the kids and I liked to sit out on a blanket on that section of the grass and he said if it were his kids he wouldn’t do it. I said go ahead and take the tree down. When it came down we could see it was pretty hollowed out on the inside.Recently one of our favorite trees died. It was right up against our new pavers, landscaping and the house. I knew that if anyone could get it out without damage to our property it would be Clint and his team. They got the job done.We have recommended Acorn Tree Care many times and our neighbors have been happy. My husband and I really appreciate Clint and his team. When he comes out for an estimate you would think we are the only people in the world, and if I’m not mistaken he has accompanied his team and worked alongside them on every one of our jobs.
We needed branches from two very tall trees pruned to keep the squirrels off of our roof. Acorn was very responsive to my call and came a few days later to give us an estimate. They worked us in pretty quickly. The crew was polite and professional. They cleaned up fast and were on their way. Will definitely use them again.
This was a great experience!! I called several companies prior to finding Acorn, and either the response was slow or they lacked quality customer service, but luckily I found Acorn!! From the first call, they were extremely professional and very informative. They came out and did the quote and then scheduled us in as soon as they could. I had some special requests, like needing a piece of the trunk saved, and they were able to accommodate me and refer me to people who can help turn the trunk into something memorable. Also, we did run into some issues with our driveway, but the team was straight forward and made us aware prior to continuing the work, so we were able to make the decision on how to proceed. Most companies probably would have continued working despite the damages it could have caused to the driveway.Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend using them, and we plan to do so with any future tree removals we may need.
Fantastic job. Very professional and safe. Used a crane to pick most of the trees I took down. Cleaned up after the fact really well.I would use them again in a heartbeat.
Coming from FL and not having large trees, my husband were nervous about having several Sweet Gum removed because of all of the other landscaping that could be damaged. Acorn Tree Care came highly recommended and we werent disappointed. The crew was amazing and very careful and the result was a beautiful back yard. They cleaned up after the work and were very professional. They were also in the same price range as two other companies. The experience of 40 years was also important to us. We highly recommend them.
Acorn Tree Care, the best thing that can be said about the ownership and employees is the work is done without damage. Removing trees without damaging property is so much more important than price. Ive never once had to invoice Acorn for property damage.

I recently had some tree work done by Acorn Tree Care, and I couldnt be happier with the results. I had two large trees that needed pruning, and now they look great (and healthy). Acorn Tree Care has been working with our Condominium Association (Roswell Springs) for many years.When Clint and his team started our property, being extremely wooded, was a mess to say the least. With their service our property is outstanding.Everything from the estimate, to the final cleanup, is superior. Communication with the crew is outstanding, and is always professional and courteous.
We had a couple trees that need removed as well as trimming hard woods away from the property. Frank and the entire Acorn Team were excellent, professional and cost effective. We have had Acorn Tree Care remove and trim trees at our house on three different occasions and all three times have been very positive experiences. They have removed about 15 trees and trimmed about 10 others, all without incident. They make very good recommendations relating to trimming vs. remove and we have a lot of faith in their opinions. They are equipped with and use all of the right equipment for the job. Their pricing is very competitive (based on multiple quotes received from other companies) and their crews are very professional, personable and SAFE. We highly recommend them and will call them again when we have more tree work to be done.

Had a very nice experience with Acorn; they were on time, friendly and got the job of removing 2 dead pines and a large oak tree done efficiently. Frank met me onsite to quote the work and was very honest with logistics and pricing, when the crew arrived they double checked everything and went to work, I was very impressed with the amount of resources and crew will definitely recommend and use again.

We have used other folks in the past for our tree removal needs and no one (and I mean no one) has been as professional, honest and efficient as Acorn Tree Service!!! It first began with one of Acorns Arborists named Frank who came to inspect our trees that concerned us. He assured us which trees were healthy and did not need removal, he also spent time explaining how to watch for signs of a trees health declining that would warrant future concern and he even identified all of our trees for us so we know the variety we have. His honesty and kindness were astounding and we have never had any other company take that much time to talk to us about our trees. His visit gave us such peace of mind about what we needed to take care of VS. what we assumed wed have to take care of, we were never pressured or made to worry or fear about any of our trees within close proximity to our home. The work we hired Acorn Tree Care for was scheduled in a very timely manner and when the crew showed up to our home as promised they were right on time! They brought several gentleman and amazing equipment to make their work safe, quick and efficient. What usually took other tree companies all day to do on our property only took Acorn Tree Care 4.5 hours from start to finish with cleanup included! Mind blowing!! We were amazed at their top-notch skills, equipment, efficiency & respect on our property!! We will definitely hire them again in the future if needed!!!

We have had Acorn Tree Care do work for the past 35 years and have always been completely happy with their hard work and clean up. They always come here and do not tear up our property even with the new lawn that we have had maintained by the lawn service company. After working all day our property looks like they were never here since they clean up thoroughly before they leave and do a walk through with us for any other needs that we requested. We had three trees removed, our tree canopy cut back and a cherry tree trimmed back. Our experience was just great and we will always use this company when we need help with our trees. This company has an arborist on staff and what that meant for us is anyone that worked on our trees, knew what they were doing. Previously I have hired some guys in a truck with a chainsaw. The cuts they made had left disease in some of our trees. There really is more to pruning a tree than I knew, not to mention the importance of insurance and safety protocol.
We had a need for multiple trees to be pruned and trimmed. Michael, arborist, came to our house and evaluated the property based on our needs. He made recommendations and in keeping with the good practices of his trade - namely, what should / should not be done for the health of the trees. We agreed; a written proposal provided; communication prior to the crew coming to the property. The crew were extremely professional. Work was accomplished to our satisfaction; the lawn cleared of all limbs, branches, etc. and they were on their way. The process from start to finish was professional. I would highly recommend Acorn for whatever tree service you need
We only use Acorn tree Care due to their strong expertise (certified arborist) and skilled workforce. The crew that worked our job, which was large and complex, including Jaime and Sawyer were excellent. They had the tools (bobcat, two trucks, shredder etc.) to do the job correctly, and safely but also had the skill to use the tools effectively. They also did an excellent job cleaning up the site upon job completion. This included replanting a shrub that had to be taken down to gain access to a very large fallen tree out back. They had a cancellation and called if they could come and I said yes, They were here in 20 min, trimmed / pruned 4 large Bradford Pears and shape, they did exactly what we agreed upon and cleaned up. Very professional everyone knew what to do, would not hesitate to recommend them for further work.

Acorn Tree Care did an excellent job pruning our font and back yard almost an acre as well as removing trees. The owner Clint is very professional and since he is an arborist knows about the health and safety of trees. He came to our home two times to help us plan the project and provided detailed proposals each time. This is important so that nothing gets left out or forgotten. He owns his own crane and is very skilled with it as I can attest to since I watched him take trees over my two story house with precision. It was unbelievable to see. Two of the trees were massive. Everything was done exactly as we asked and the crew stayed until after 6 working tirelessly in close to 100 degree weather. When I first met Clint he walked my whole lot with me and advised me on multiple trees that I had concerns about. He never seemed rushed or inconvenienced and answered our questions by phone. He also offered to help me with the tree approval process if I needed it. Ive met other tree guys in the past but nothing like this. They were great!

Acorn Tree Care is the finest company if it’s type in the state of Georgia. Clint was professional and honest. My property looks amazing and it was immaculate when they left. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
Acorn did an excellent job for us. They took down a tree and removed all the debris including a few piles of logs left over from another company who took down some pines, but didnt want to remove the logs. Then Acorn took it upon themselves to call the call before you dig people to mark the utilities before they came back to grind four stumps. I truly appreciate Frank and the people at Acorn for taking such good care of our property while they were here.
Acorn removed five pine trees four of which were situated near a neighbors fence. The work was done professionally with no damage to the fence. They were very careful to protect my yard, laying down plywood sheets for the bobcat to drive over. In addition to the tree removal they also prune come bradford pear trees to help avoid splitting and topped some evergreens that had cold damage a couple of years ago. The clean up after the job was great. The estimate was very competitive and I would recommend Acorn to anyone that needs tree service.
I called Acorn because I had a large chestnut oak that was dead and I was concerned it would fall over with all this rain. It was so large it could have caused damage to my house and yard or a neighbor’s yard. I called and the next day Frank, the arborist, came out and looked at the tree as well as some other smaller projects I needed done. He sent me a quote for the work later in the day and I told him to go ahead. Three days later they came and cut down the tree, removed 3 smaller dead trees and pruned some limbs that needed cutting. The large dead oak was a big project requiring it to be cut in sections and lowered one at a time. The work was done in an efficient and professional manner. They had the proper equipment (including a lift to cut the sections of the tree) and a truck along with a chipper. They were very fast and after they were finished you couldn’t tell they had been here (except for the stump). All of the crew were very polite and friendly. They made a task that I was dreading to have done “a piece of cake.” It was a pleasure dealing with them and I certainly will use them again.
Have you ever felt blessed, even after a terrible thing happens- Acorn made us feel that way. Our family was at home, socially isolated, when a giant oak tree fell on our house. Luck would have it that a trusted source gave us Acorns number. Acorn was here that very day. A team of professional gentleman came and did what we thought was impossible. Instead, they took care of business. They did so gently, kindly, cleanly, carefully and considerately. What started as a nightmare day ended in peaceful repose. We will always be thankful for coming out of that day safe, secure and serene. Without Acorn, wed been lost. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts- some jobs are done so well that they transcend the word work and hearten your appreciation of other people. If I could give 6 stars I would. Clint Harris & Acorn Trees have worked for us numerous times over the past 7 years, and I have never been disappointed. Always professional and helpful. We have lots of mature trees in our back yard, and it is great to have an arborist to go to for advice. Theyve tackled a number of tough jobs, including a dead pine covered in poison ivy. You can tell a lot about a company by how they treat their employees, and I spoke with one of their crew members recently who remembered all the times he had worked on trees at my house over the past 5 years. In an industry where I would think there is a fair amount of turnover, this spoke volumes to me.

We cannot say anything but great things about this tree company.Yes, they may cost a little more than others, but they are true professionals that know exactly what they are doing.Clint or Brett are highly knowledgeable Certified Arborists, they will give you the best recommendations about your trees.Their estimate arrives via email quickly and explains everything in detail. If you want to make changes, they are happy to accommodate. They arrive when they say they will, and the work crew takes great care in protecting your surrounding landscape.The day after our work was being done, a neighbor had hired a cheaper competitor, and the contrast was stunning.Right off the top, the difference in their working styles was obvious. The Acorn crew was working in a tight area, between our wooden privacy fence and several ornamental trees that we wanted to protect. They cut the massive trees in sections, lowering the segments by a complex system of pulleys and ropes. It was really amazing to watch! They were extremely careful and safety conscious while they worked. Afterwards, our yard was left clean and everything was well cared for. Other than the missing trees, there was barely any sign they had even been there!Meanwhile, at our neighbor’s house, the competitor was brutal. It was actually scary to watch them work. They damaged other trees while dropping the cut trees, and there were lots of booms and crashes during the day. At the end of the day, they left wood chips and heavy oil stains all over the road in front of their house, and even left the neighbor’s irrigation system damaged.And that’s why we prefer Acorn. They would never treat a customer like that! We have always been impressed by the work they do, the extra care they give, and the professional way they treat their customers. We would HIGHLY recommend this company!

Hired the team for a commercial job. They were wonderful. They were all excellent about communicating the job status, checking in to confirm satisfaction with the progress, cleaned up the jobsite each day and always worked in a safe maner.We have already received complements on how nice everything looks from the current building tenants.
We recently had AcornTree service remove several large trees from the front yard of our home and a few stumps ground out so there were no eyesores. We had several bids on the job and although there were a few lower than Acorn we were impressed by Brett who is the number 1 man when it comes to what needs to be done to the trees and explaining how the company goes about cutting the trees, removal and pruning. All the men involved were trained and knowledgeable. The equipment was unbelievable.They laid large platforms down on the grass and the trees fell on them not causing injury to our lawn. They ground trunks as they cut them so within a few hours everything was cleared from our yard,sidewalks swept and the street showed no evidence of work done. Brett was on site before work started. The next day Tracy came to grind the stumps and again what a great job-got everything cleared up and we are very pleased. The one thing we want to emphasize is the proposal for our job was very professionally done. A complete proposal was sent to us via E-Mail. Everything was outlined defining work to be done,number and variety of trees and location outlined. The fact they carried liability insurance and workers comp was an indication that this was a for real company. Our other proposals were hand written on 8x11 paper and all items to be removed noted with price for all at the bottom. We tend to shy away from this type of operation! We have lived in Forsyth for 34 years and are very fortunate to have Acorn Tree Care in our County--we intend to use them again in 2017. We give them a 5 Starr review!!Mr. and Mrs. Frank Joyce

My husband and I just purchased our first home and we had Acorn Tree Care come out to remove a dead tree from our side yard and trim back a tree over hanging our roof. They were EXCELLENT! We could not even tell that they were there. Everything was clean and they left our yard seemingly untouched. They were a great company to work with and we will definitely be using them in the future.
Have used Acorn on numerous occasions for removal of 1 to 200 trees. Always first class service and meticulous clean up. Clint has also pointed out many potential problems in advance allowing the efficiency of advance planning.
Just a note to say thank you. In the North Fulton area, many of us use contractors to do a variety of jobs for us on our properties. I watched your crew take down several trees for a neighbor across the street and saw how efficient they were and how they cleaned up afterwards. On Thursday, they showed up when I expected them, called before they got here, did exactly what we asked for and I never had to point anything out or follow-up behind them. It is rare to have someone do work that you do not have to follow-up behind them point out things they have missed. Your crew was professional in every way, did a great job of cleaning up, and exceeded my expectations. Thank you.
I have to agree with the previous post about poor customer relations. I can honestly say I cannot recommend this company due to total lack of customer service. They were recommended by a friend, and I asked them to take down two trees in my yard, one of which was leaning toward our home.I was told it would take two to three weeks to work it into their schedule. The next day the father of the owner shows up at my door to look at the trees again saying he has been in the tree service for forty years. He says his son has underpriced the job and was not happy about it. He said it was his company and his son works for him. I say I need them taken down and was willing to pay extra if needed. Same story as before about the time. The father did show up a few days later and after several verbal confrontations I asked them to leave and actually paid them for the job to leave with the job half done. Next day the son shows up to pick up the tree remains left from the previous day saying that emergency jobs normally cost $500 per hour and he was just trying to help me out by sending his fathers smaller crew. This is just too much drama.One tree cost me $750 plus three days lot of agony.Needless to say this is not the company you need. Poor customer relations and lots of excuses.

Clint and his crew brought in the crane and removed two trees today. It was fascinating to watch and they were so careful and professional. I think very highly of my beautiful fescue lawn and they put down their mats and protected it from the heavy crane. I could not be more pleased with their service. They also were very through with clean-up and removal of all debris.
Service was performed on 8/15/2017. I was not home but my wife was. The foreman stopped by to say hello and to let her know they were starting work. I had around 10 trees removed and some pruning of older trees. Overall the work was completed but a few things were missed. I called Brett and he came back out to fix the problem. The trees that I requested to be left for firewood were chipped up. I found several empty Power Aid bottles left in my yard, not a big deal but some may see this negatively. Currently waiting on the stumps to be removed as the utilities need to be marked before it can be completed.
I would highly recommend Acorn Tree Care. They are professional and arrived on time. The crew trimmed branches from large oak trees and did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. Thanks again!

Updated 12/20/17:I have changed my rating to five stars. They squeezed me into their schedule (after I complained about them only scheduling once a week :-)) They even had to deal with an irate neighbor. They had to wait for the utility company to come out and mark the utilities, but got the stumps ground right away. Overall, if I could do a 4.5 I would, but I didnt think 4 was good enough.Updated Review 12/1/17:Met with appraiser after contacting the office. A paperwork mixup had caused the appraiser to accidentally be at a different location during the time we had scheduled. He was very apologetic and got the appraisal and estimate completed while onsite. Waiting for job to be scheduled and then I can provide more feedback.
Customer Service is not there. After several weeks and multiple appointments they cancelled they sent the father of the owner out to please me I guess. He cut two branches on two small trees,charged me 300.00 plus, called his son the owner to come out because the job was to big for him. We had multiple trees to be trimmed. No call back. No appointment . No communication. Go to the next company. This is not the company you want to use. Consumer beware!
Love these guys. They were professional, quick, safe, clean, and friendly. I really enjoyed talking to Clint. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We couldn’t be more pleased with the work. I would refer them to all of my friends.

We had used Acorn services last fall for tree trimming and were very satisfied with their work. So when we had a large evergreen came down during a storm and took a lamp post and other tree branches with it, we had no reservations about calling Acorn.. I (Bob) left an e-mail for them on Sunday and Monday morning we received a reply, Michael on the scene to scope the job, and received a proposal by noon and that afternoon the work was accomplished by a crew of four. The job was done professionally;; crew asked me if I was satisfied with the work and they were done within two hours. If the need arises, we will call Acorn again. Great Job !
They have done us right twice so far, showed up on time, did the job well, didnt damage anything, and are always cool and personable fellas to chat with afterword when I pay them.

2022-04-07Extremely pleased with the work Clint and his crew did today. They took down two huge sweet gum trees, efficiently, effortlessly, and very skillfully, with no damage to my property. 2022-06-09I could not be more pleased with Acorn Tree Care! They did a wonderful job pruning my existing trees back. I was impressed with their knowledge of trees and tree health. They were very professional. They had a crew man for every part of the job. They cleaned up all debris and left things looking beautiful. Would absolutely use them again!

2022-04-22Acorn Tree Care is well named. The team of three men cleaned the dead wood from our front maple trees and took the backyard tree leaning at 20° to the ground safely. They wore all their protective gear and took the time to tie off above their heads. Then cleaned up the area as quoted before leaving. The pricing was reasonable and fair. They were also the better insured of my three quotes. We will definitely have them back for any future Tree Care.

2022-02-23Highly recommend Acorn for tree removal! I was working with Michael Kent and crew. Can not say enough! Michael was very knowledgeable about the landscape on my property as which trees are preventing the growth of the trees that will enhance my yard. Very thorough with his quote explaining what process will be needed for the job. I did get about six quotes but Acorn was more detailed and the best pricing. Heather was awesome keeping me updated on scheduling the job. On the big day, Michael was the first to show followed by a large crew that were on time and got right to work. They were all very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable of what they were doing. I had about 10 trees ranging from 7 ft to 40 ft removed from my property. They protected the lawn with sheets of wood so the Bobcat didnt destroy the grass all while keeping distance from remaining landscaping. At the end of the day you would have never known they were here, as everything was hauled away the clean up was probably better then before they arrived. Thanks again for a fantastic job! Should I need any additional trees removed in the future, Acorn will be my only call! 🙂

With the exception of the trees gone and trimmed, you would never even know they were there. I shopped around and Acorn had the best price for my tree removal. I will be using them again! Highly recommend.

2022-04-07Showed up on time and immediately went to work. Very well equipped. Went to extreme lengths to remove my trees, all of which were very dangerous and difficult, growing over my roof. No damage at all. This was really a tough job. Amazing tree climbing and team work on the ground. I have used this service before, but for easier jobs. Same amazing quality as then. Very reasonable price.

2022-04-18Acorn Tree Care was very professional from the initial site review, the delivered proposal (not an estimate), calling when they were heading our way, site setup/prep, tree removal/trimming and final cleanup. The crew were very respectful of our existing landscape. They used their crane to safely manage each log section& position it for removal or grinding. Their crew stayed on top of cleaning up the debris so there was minimal final cleanup when they finished removing the trees. I would highly recommend Acord Tree Care.

2022-02-16The Acorn Tree Care team showed a Class Act from Day one. Right from sales (Michael) to the entire crew headed by Clint were extremely professional and skilled. The crew arrived on time and carried out a successful modus operandi. We had three tall poplars, and a few other trees for removal. They executed the whole job seamlessly with a huge crane. It was a difficult set up to get to the tall backyard trees and they did it so effortlessly. The entire crew was so efficient and well organized. They handled the whole operations very diligently keeping in mind the safety of the house and the property. They cleaned the premises post the job spotlessly and left the chipped tree mulch for our use on the driveway. All through the job, they were very careful and precise. Commendable work by Mark who climbed all the trees and cut them keeping in mind the safety protocols.Overall start to finish the job done was par excellence. We would recommend them to anyone who has apprehensions with tree removal of tall and old trees and any tree for that matter as they have the best equipment, skill, technology and price in the market. 2022-02-17I have worked with Acorn Tree Care for many years because of the quality of their work and high degree of customer service. Their workers go above and beyond - always checking to be sure I am happy with the degree of trimming. I have many beautiful trees on my property and that is a very important aspect of my choosing them to work on them. They also make sure the trimmings are picked up and area blown off. They are a pleasure to work with, from the top management/ owner along with the workers.
