Does not know how to work on bmw. Picked my car up in pieces and had to ask for missing prices. Charged me $300 to install a 2 ft hose for cooling system. But could not put rest of car back togetherSo $300 to pull car apart and not put back together. Do not take you too end vehicle to this place.

Amazing job. They did a muffler and resonator delete on my 2001 BMW 540i and replaced it with 3 inch pipe and a flowmaster muffler with a turndown coming out the back. It looks amazing, it feels amazing, and it sounds even better! Malcom did most of the work on my exhaust (although quite a few helped out and were amazing and I thank you so much) and was very helpful and answered any questions I had. Russel who owns the place was awesome and super helpful in my decision on what to do other than straight pipe. 10/10 happy with my new setup and 10/10 recommend this place to anybody looking for just minor repairs to their exhaust or a full redo. Looking forward to seeing you guys again!
Had an exhaust put on my car. Loved the work they done. Felt comfortable leaving my vehicle until it was finished. Guys working on my car explained what was going to happen so i could understand. Would definitely recommend this place.
My mother took her car to this so-called shop on Dec 6, 2020, to get the cat to fix on a Suzuki. When she got it back after paying him $500 and something, the check engine light was on for the 02 sensors. Well, my mother went back for them to replace that she brought her own at OReillys auto part. Somehow they could not get the old O2 sensor off the new Cat converter, so they cut a hole at the top of the new Cat to put the O2 sensor in. Well, after that, the check engine light came back on, so she took it back to them again. That O2 sensor was so fried in there they couldnt get it out. They had to chop it up. Thats how we had to take it back to OReillys to get a replacement for the O2 sensor. So after that, I decided to take the car to another muffler shop. When I took it to the other muffler shop, the guy told me that he could fix it. Still, he would have to move the O2 sensor because they had it in the wrong spot that it was too close to the engine that it was going to mess it up and have it misfire on the O2 sensor, and he didnt even know if the new Cat converter worked because of the hole Acworth muffler put in it. After all that happened, this man has still been paid in my mothers car, not fixed. We are on May 28, and my mom is just now getting her car back after so many hassles after so many excuses that this so-called businessman at Acworth muffler put my mother through. He is a snake, and I would never do business with him again, and if I were you, I would be warned.
Installed a custom exhaust on my old gmc. It was a tough job. Did a really nice system. Good attitude. Hard working man and crew. If you want customer comfort and amenities in the waiting room, go to where they concentrate on such. I prefer the workmanship.

Absolutely a GREAT SHOP. Russel answered the phone immediately and we arranged a convenient time for me to come in the next day. He got to work immediately, fixed the problem and had me out the door a happy customer in less than an 1 hour or so. In the mean time he helped a person with a slashed tire and donated a fair amount to help a local cause. Awesome dude!
What a great experience I had at Acworth Muffler. I brought my GMC Sierra in to help give it a louder, deeper exhaust note. They took me right in, let me listen to a couple of different options, and had me finished and on my way in less than an hour. I couldnt be happier with the job they did, or how my truck sounds now. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs some exhaust work.
Acworth Muffler installed FlowMasters exhaust on my 1998 Chevrolet Silverado. From the moment I arrived, I was informed of the cost of the installation of exhaust system I wanted for my truck. The crew at Acworth Muffler was kind & very professional at all times. There were no hidden charges unlike other muffler shops. I was quoted a price & paid the price without fear of being taken for granted because I am a woman.
They installed a Flowmaster 50 series I had in my truck, did a nice weld. Super friendly folks! Reasonable price. Truck sounds exactly how I wanted of course!
I am posting for a friend that came to this muffler shop a few months ago to have a custom dual exhaust installed on his truck.These guys attempted to get the dual pipes even and level on the truck but were unable to do so . After several hours of trying my friend just told them to give up and he had to take it somewhere else so it could be done right.That being said, they were good people and they were definitely trying. I think they would be just fine at normal every day swapping out mufflers and catalytic converters but if you want a custom job that needs a skilled custom fabricator do not go here.
Mr Henegar is very professional, honest great guy. Always happy to try and help someone any way he can. Very affordable high quality service in everything gree does. Both of my daughters will only go to him if there is a problem with their car.
While it doesnt look like much from the outside, this is a top notch shop! I contacted them about getting a resonator delete on my car and I received a reply very soon afterwards. They were able to get me in immediately and finished the job in just minutes. The quality of their work is some of the best Ive seen and their welding is very even and smooth. I would highly recommend the Acworth Muffler Shop to anyone looking to get work done on their exhaust.

We previously spoke a few weeks back (December 11th)and your shop was looking for a motor, as soon as you sent the message I went and found a motor online within two minutes. The message, because you realized I gained knowledge of trucks, and that I would not take a truck with shavings and shutting down going down the highway with a trailer on the back, the transmission lines blowing off, skipping ,changing gears wrong, so you won’t respond . I brought a truck to you with computer problems and a pocket full of cash and you took and advantage of it, I lost my dang job and couldn’t leave the state because you ruined my truck. Fast forward, my truck is still sitting there waiting for a motor and I’m in Alabama can’t pull anything, load wood, nothing because your lack of responsibility. Now that I am not traveling anymore this will be my last time reaching out to you. This has been going on to long. You have my contact information as well as my email.
Good customer service. They will get you back running if your car or truck is not working. They do everything here, not just mufflers. Also the owner is a great guy with a really good personality and attitude.

The owner is very personable. Performed a catalytic converter change at a great price. Told me about 2 hrs and had me out the door in an hr.
Bung for oxygen sensor broke off on my sons honda civic si downpipe. They welded it back on and had us out of there in a jiffy.
This is the best shop I have ever been to, very nice people with great pricing. Just got custom new pipes run on a 1966 mustang and by far the best it has ever sounded. The quality of work is superb while customer service was outstanding. I will have all future work done here and would recommend this shop to everyone!
I have a very old hearse and have had a couple of dishonest mechanics do shoddy work and put in old used up parts. Russel fixed it all for me at a reasonable price. His crew are hard working. They really want to fix your wheels for you. I finally found a local shop that I can trust.

Had a blow out on my work truck exhaust pipe. They took me in first thing, squeezed me in between appointments, and got me back on the road for less than 1/10th what the Ford dealer wanted. Thats how to take care of a new customer!
I needed a new muffler on my truck and went to these guys and asked what they charged and he looked at it and told me he could do it for $150 I called other places and this guy was gonna charge me 3 times what other places did.... I got a new muffler and had it installed for $60..
Dont waste your time with this shop because thats all theyll do. Waste your time. Gave them my vehicle and paid them and they have yet to touch my vehicle after a month of sitting there

Terrible shop.....vehicles are misdiagnosed and parts are improperly installed......techniccians are not proffesional and very untrained.....the shop is an absolute pig-stye and theres absolutely no organization......cheap parts are used as well as cheap chinese exhaust parts......do yourself a favor.....go to someone that actually knows what the hell they are doing

2022-04-28Ive never been , but from what my friends told me The owner will tell Workers to drill holes into catalytic converter or exhaust system so people will pay extra or come back for more repairs. I have friends who used to work there that would tell me about his business practices. One was a master mechanic. Just figured Id put this out there so he doesnt scam any one .

2022-01-01Came in to get a corsa exhaust installed on my Vette. I was worried since it was New Year’s Eve they couldn’t fill me in but even with the long line of cars behind me they got me going before 5pm!! Super happy, car sounds great and looks amazing. Definitely using them again for future builds, the owner is a super cool dude and the ladies there are super nice!

2021-08-12Was up all night the night before trying to install a catback exhaust I just purchased for my Mustang Shelby GT500 and just couldn’t make it happen because I couldn’t get the car high enough, plus I just ran out of patience and wanted it done right. Russell and his crew had it installed and precisely adjusted in an hour the next morning. They did a great job and I got the impression that they took pride in making it perfect.

2021-06-11To say the least they did a great job! Everyone was extremely friendly and as a fellow mechanic i just really loved the environment. They work like a well oiled machine. My exhaust was a mess, confidently and timely they fixed it without a hang up. My car is running like new! Thanks to Russ, Matt, Joey and all the rest. Im sorry I cant remember everyones name but theyre great people and run a great company! I will be returning when I need more mechanical things done to my van that are over my head. 5 stars

2020-09-17I took my 1998 Chevy truck in to get my exhaust re-done ,. They installed flow pac with an x-pipe cross over & 2 stainless steal oval tips. They did a GREAT AWESOME job on my truck & the price was also great. they are very courteous & professional & I highly recommend them. The owner (Russell) will explain everything that is being done to your vehicle & he will tell you upfront how much its gonna cost. Stop by & see for yourself & tell them that Angel sent you. P/S. My truck sounds awesome & it reminds me of the 70s sounds that came out of the Chevelle Super Sport cars...DANG...those were the good ole days & they brought back a sound that I though was long gone...

2020-12-04Went to this place to get a custom adapter made running from exhaust manifold to exhaust. Asked the owner for a price and was told “couple hundred bucks”. Bring the truck in. He calls me by the end of the day asking if he could paint a weld section on exhaust and saying the price went up for a few reasons and end up at 560.00. Not a problem until i got there and my truck wouldn’t start(it was a project truck but was starting when it first arrived at shop) and they painted a big section of my stainless steel exhaust.towed the truck since it wasn’t starting to later find out the starter wire was some how disrupted and emergency brake cable was touching exhaust... and now I have to pay somebody else to fix it.Had a bad experience but I hope that this review can serve as a help to improve quality.
