This was the relaxing getaway that I dreamed of, and the property was very charming. The owners were extremely nice and you can tell that they have put a lot of effort into of-era antiques and decor. We really enjoyed the lovely breakfast spread that was all delicious and home cooked. Our room had a king size bed and electric fireplace that was very cozy, the bathroom also had a tub which was nice for a bath.

I didnt want to leave! A friend and I met there to stay for one night and do a little sight seeing. We enjoyed Barnsley Gardens and going to Calhoun to see the rock garden but next time I will just stay at the house and relax and enjoy the surroundings. I want to spend time reading on the cute porches and walking around the grounds.Without a doubt, it is the hosts, Larry and Doris, who make the stay! As others have said, they are so friendly and helpful. The level of service really made us feel pampered. The tour of the house and the breakfast were 2 of my favorite things. Cant wait to go back.

Beautifully restored 1895 bed and breakfast. Doris and Larry are delightful and share the history of the house and restoration stories. Room was large; bed was very comfortable. This was a truly relaxing stay without TV or WiFi. Breakfast was scrumptious and so glad that Larry and Doris joined us! Highly recommend.

This B&B is wonderful, and the couple who run it (Larry and Doris) have thought of everything! I booked a one night solo stay just to have a relaxing night away before summer break starts, and it was even better than I expected. When I arrived they gave me a quick tour of the historic home, then returned later to make sure I was set up for the night (and left some fresh-baked cookies--a follow-up to the snack tray they left earlier!) My room was beautifully decorated and I had a very comfortable nights sleep. There is no TV and no wi-fi, which was perfect for the quiet and distraction-free evening I was after. In the morning we had a full formal breakfast, served family style in the dining room. Everything was delicious and the owners make for great company--I enjoyed chatting with them over breakfast as much as I enjoyed the food. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

We stayed here on our wedding night and it was absolutely perfect! The couple that run the place are very sweet and the rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The excellent and tasteful decorations work well together, they reminded me of like an old English Gentlemans hunting manor. The best part is the breakfast. Candied bacon, chocolate-filled French Toast, creamy fluffy scrambled eggs to die for, and interesting conversation with the owners who ate with us and the other guests. Plus home-made cookies to take home!

Practicality senses I should not share this treasure with the world. The innkeepers of the Manor are altogether lovely. We were late arrivals, and Doris checked in on us by phone in the evening and assured us our reservation was secure. When we arrived, a plate of freshly baked homemade cookies was waiting. The Manor itself is wonderful, beautiful, comfortable, elegant. Breakfast was yummy. We loved the stay and will go out of our way to return. I should say, the neighborhood is very easy to get to from 75. Shhhh. Dont tell anyone how much you like the Manor!!! This place is my secret treasure now that I have found it....

This B&B is a MUST if you are on your way to Chattanooga or in the area. Dorris and Larrys house is simply amazing. The decor is beautiful and you could not ask for a better place to stay overnight. The breakfast in the morning was to die for. Doris also greeted us with freshly baked cookies which were the best I had ever had in my life. I could go on and on about this place. What a gem!!! We will definitely be back.

Very authentic home, no TVI have stayed there in August 2019 for one night. We did enjoy the place and the owners were very nice and friendly. I took several photos that are posted with my review. I think that most people would expect a TV and internet service to be available is the reason I mentioned that there isnt a TV.
