BIG KUDOS TO AARON J!!!! Just who and what I needed. What an incredibly helpful and smart guy! He generously taught me and four other people so much! Helped me select exactly what I needed. Thanks to his Fuses 101 explanation while viewing my fuse diagram, I know how to switch out my fuses myself! And which. THANK YOU!!!
I went to this location about three days ago because my battery had stopped working. I told one of the representatives that my battery had lost charge and that it was not the first time my battery had done that. I had already gone to them earlier this year because my battery was loosing charge. He tested my battery and said it was taking a charge and that there was nothing that he could do. However, when he told me to start the car the car was struggling to start. He told me to run the car so the battery fully charges. He said it doesn’t seem to be your battery, it might be that you have an electrical problem. So take it to a electrician to get it checked, he even gave me someone’s card. I took his card and left. I went to a mechanic the next day.The mechanic used his machine and told me that the battery is not taking charge. He was getting an error to run the car so the battery charges, by this time it had been two days since my battery problem and running the car with a low charged battery. I decided to go to Advance Auto Parts across from White Water and spoke to the assistant manager and told him what my problem was. He looked up my information and saw that the battery was still under warranty. He swapped it out and told me sorry for the inconvenience. I simply felt that this Advance not the one across from White Water did not care about fixing my problem, they had already turned me away twice over my battery. In the future I will stop using this store, I highly recommend the other location across from White Water.
I called last minute & Dee got me right in. He joked with me over the phone & instantly made me feel at ease . He told me he could replace my battery with no service charge unless it was corroded. It was corroded & he was technically off the clock & still helped me, & double checked it before I left!! Amazing human being! I sat in their parking lot and ordered what I needed from Amazon rather than support such a rude and unhelpful staff. Also, they have staff in there without masks and refused to help me figure out what screws I needed for my license plate (maybe simple but I had no idea) and refused to bring me a product by curbside very rudely telling me Oh Im not coming outside even after I called the posted curbside delivery number from outside when I saw how unclean and insufficient their covid measures (or lack thereof) were. I considered ordering online then making the old jerk bring it outside but I decided I would rather not support the business
What a wonderful place! where should start, with the staff some of the best services i seen in a while any question you have for them they have a answer even if its not car related they really interact with the customers of all kinds no matter how upset people come in. the guy named cruz is a outstanding person he really went out his way to help me with a issue i had on my vehicle, i was in search for a auto part for my truck and couldnt find it anywhere. he went on google amd showed me some places to purchase it, also he gave me a quick lesson on how to installing it ... just great place with great empolyees
Battery died. I got it jumped hours earlier but Went here because my car was starting slowly . Had Andy test the battery . He said it wasn’t low and not bad and to drive the car around an hour for it to charge . Then all week it still started slow . I then Go pay 25.99 for a diagnostic at an auto shop for them to tell me it’s the battery . Then I call back today Sunday around 2:50 pm to see how much a battery is Andy says he’s with a customer and he’ll be right back . Waited on hold 10 minutes only to be disconnected . Do not go to this location . Employees are incompetent. I hope Andy is his name, can’t really remember . White male . Brown facial hair . Beard and mustache .
I came here for the same issue from Auto Zone and unlike them the troubleshooting steps were done correctly the battery was still the same 12.4V and the alternator and starter were able to be checked. Hector actually looked in the trunk to verify if the battery was or wasnt there. He printed out my results and informed me of the issue. Which was the Starter and not the battery.
Joshua was a god sin he was Alwsome great customer service. Knows what he is talking about very knowledgeable about cars the mechanics. Thanks for having such a great employee. If I could give lower than one star I would. Well I am from out of town. My battery goes bad and I need to get another. Well AAP have the advertising that they change your battery. So after work in my dress cloths I go to get a new one. Well of course I have the vehicle that they are not allowed to change...* Chevy Silverado *. They at least let me borrow the tools to change the battery after they get my ID. After I change my battery by myself in my dress cloths I asked to be able to wash my hands. Their answer is no. GREAT way to win over a customer. I will be sure to never use AAP again. Hello Auto Zone
So, I went here for a new battery. This was after one guy there told me it just needed a charge. Came back & another guy said no you need a new battery. Went back a day or 2 later & 2 ladies were working. Long story short, she told me my battery cable may break but she took it off anyway. It broke, car wouldnt start. About an hour later I ended up using vice grips on terminal to drive home.....horrible experience. Shouldnt have taken it apart if you already know something could potentially go wrong...I could say more but I wont.
I had a great experience at store # 08769! I came into the store to purchase a battery for my 2007 Buick Lucerne CXL V6 and have it installed as well. Since the battery was under the seat I made sure to call in advance to verify that the battery could be installed on site. Some of the other local auto parts stores refused to install a battery that was located under the seat. After getting confirmation, I came to the store to purchase my battery and my cashier Shenita F. installed it. I was so excited to have a woman install my battery! Shenita was very helpful during the installation process and she even took the time to show me the steps to replace the battery if I ever needed to do so in the future (Hopefully no time soon!). I felt empowered as a woman and I appreciate Advance Auto Parts for hiring women that can get the job done! Kudos to you and thanks again Shenita!
Waited for almost an hour to be served. There were 2 guys, one serving and one cleaning. Only one person was in front of us. The guy serving didnt acknowledge us or anything and then he walked out pretending to help the customer in front of us with his car but after 5 minutes he was smoking. After waiting almost an hour the guy cleaning decides to serve us and that didnt work out too well.

2022-04-22Arrived home late one night only to realize that a tire valve cap wasnt replaced from an earlier service at a dealership and my tire pressure light kept blinking. So I rushed and got to the store at 8:49 (passed OReillys), only to arrive to locked doors and no staff in sight. The store closes at 9. So I went to OReillys who was not only open (also set to close at 9), but had a friendly cashier who greeted me and directed me to the aisle that I needed.

2022-03-11I went here to purchase a standard 5/16 - 5/8 Stainless Steel Hose Clamp. I was very disappointed with the items that I received and the service that I was given.I looked in the isles for the clamps and couldnt find them. I brought the hose in with me and showed the person at the counter and she brought me a pack of clamps but was not sure if they would fit. She asked someone else and they said that if I put it on that I couldnt take it back off.I purchased the clamps that was highly priced at $8. Before leaving the counter and taking the money and receipt off the counter I examined the clips and couldnt figure out how to make them work. I asked the girl and she was clueless. The other person was helping another customer. Finally, I just said that I didnt want them. I received my money back and left.Dont go to this store for anything. It was a poor choice of items and bad service.I dont know if its under New management but its has changed.I went to OReilly Auto Parts a couple doors down and found exactly what I was looking for. Price $2.99

2021-09-11Advance was disappointing in that it seemed there was more interest in selling me the most expensive wiper than the one I needed. One thing we used to love was the customer service that employees say management no longer allows,that help is surely needed because like me most patrons are not mechanics and can use the advice and assistance.

2021-06-26Rude customer service. The lady at the front counter Sydney was extremely rude. We were looking for items and trying to see which one to get and comparing items and she just coldly said if you open the box then you can’t return it. We told her we just need to look at the size of the cable and the box was a regular paper box that could easily eat closed again without damaging the package whatsoever. Yet she still told us doesn’t matter you have to buy it first.I’ve never experienced such a rude person in any other stores.

2020-12-17I had been to another parts store earlier in the day and they did not have enough time to help me with a battery issue I was having. For me, it was complicated and not as simple as replacing it. Chris Evans offered to keep it on the slow charger over night (This was my 3rd battery in 5 days for my motorcycle). I returned the next morning, he told me the problem and resolved it for me. It was VERY affordable however, I am the kind of person who would pay extra for good customer service and Chris went above and beyond for my problem. Thank you and I will definitely return

2020-10-09The workers are super friendly and very helpful. I watched one go above and beyond for a customer who was not very nice, and the cashier was still friendly and solved the issue. He then made sure to help me soon afterwards. Been here multiple times and always satisfied with the products and service

2020-09-01I ordered parts last week then when in to pick them up. It started to go south because they could not find the $400 in parts I paid for. The manager really stepped up and took care of me. He found the parts and took care of me. 100 percent I will be coming here regardless of it being a bit of a drive from my house!!!kudos to all the guys working the store today!!
