Order a part online for next day delivery. I never received the order which was said to have been delivered. Called the store to inquire what happened but never got to speak to anyone because the person answered and immediately put me on hold and no one ever came back to answer. I am still waiting on a refund or find out what happened to my package.Update:Package was delivered to wrong house. Had to do the job that you and your employees should have done.
I cannot say enough thank you to this team!!Customer service was more than phenomenal!!Everyone was hands on!! they never left me without a resolution, before telling me to make a purshase they did everything for that to be my last resort.I am beyond grateful!!! And yes I will make the hour troop if I ever need ANYTHING for my car!!! Thank you guys very much!!!
I purchased a headlight bulb for my wife car. It was already opened and stapled together when I bought it. I tried to install it and it was the wrong bulb. So I tried to go back to the store and exchange it for the correct bulb. She said the bulb was open so I cant exchange it. I told her that I bought it opened so why cant I exchange it.
I purchased a starter for my Nissan 240sx convertible. First starter was bad. Went back to get them to order a new one. Went to pick it up had to pay full amount again, $161. and change. Also they charged me the core charge $38.00 again. I already paid the core on the first starter. They should not have charged me the core charge on the second replacement. So all total they had $323.00 of my money. They gave me back $38.00 when I took the core to them, that means they actually still had Approx $285.00 of my money. So I take the second starter home and try to put it in, turns out even though the flange looks the same the cone of the starter was different. When I put it in it rotated the starterclockwise about 1/2 inch. Therefore the starter bolts would not line up. Absolutely no way to mount the starter. I never even energized it, I dont no if it was a good starter or not. So I took both starters back to them this evening. They refunded each one as a separate transaction. The first one they gave me $121. and change, then they did the second one and refunded me $121. and change for the second one. Thats $242. THEY OWED ME 285.OO. BOTH RECEIPTS show 111.00 purchase each for the 2 starters, one has 8.95 for tax, the other show 12.00 for sales tax and they claim they even included the core refund 38.00 on both starters. Plus they have my core that I took to them that I will need to go somewhere else to purchase another starter If I dont have a core to turn in I will have to pay their core charge which wont be refundable. IF YOU HAD 5 MORE STARS TO THE LEFT towards bad, I might click THE FAR LEFT ONE a half of a star. Their parts SUCK. THERE MATH IS INCOMPREHENSIBLE. I gave them 322.00 approx charged on my debit card. I took both starters back, got $38.00 refund for the core. That means they had approx 284.00 plus my core they kept, They refunded me 242.00 the difference which is approx 42.00 plus 38.00 for my core they kept, thats 78.00 to their good. The manager and staff was highly helpful ...called me and made sure i got the part i NEED and also in return i made aure i brought core back. Its a blessing to have reliable help no a days when moat places get over...but I apprecaite the staff here..felt like family here especially for 1 of our family vehicles. Thanks
The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The company as a whole needs a more modern computer system. I should not have to wait 10 days to get my money refunded back to my card for a returned item. I bought the part today and it was the wrong part that an employee at the Riverdale road location told me I needed. I ordered online but had to go to this store at 7000A highway 85 to pick up part because Riverdale Rd store didnt have it. Its definitely frustrating to wait 10 days for a refund.
Came here to return a battery because another Advance gave me the wrong one. Took 5 mins for someone to even acknowledge me standing! Then they told me there was no battery for a 05 Honda, except for a $2000 hybrid battery....lolThat was incorrect, I found out from OReillys later...it helps when there is knowledgeable staff around to assist customers....
Patrick was the guys name who assisted me and his customer service sucked, he was very rude and very unprofessional, and he smelled like an ashtray. I will not be returningI wish Victor still worked at this location he was the BEST and his customer service was outstanding

2022-06-22I arrived at this advanced auto parts store to rest my battery. The time was 8:10pm EST, they closed at 9. After greeting the gentleman who goes by the name Ayo, I asked if they’ll be able to check my battery to see if I’m in need of a new battery which I was, he turned his wrist to look at his watch to inform me that they closed at nine pm. I acknowledged his comment and asked could they check my battery. Ayo stated he was the only one in the front and they’re about to close soon. I informed them of the time which was now 8:13pm. He finally checked my battery. Prior to him grabbing his equipment he asked me if I was prepared to purchase a battery if I needed one. I stated yes. He asked me again twice more outside. All in all he finally changed the battery and the other three people inside just stared me down. I didn’t appreciate how I was treated and the job only took about ten min smh.

2022-02-20If they dont have itThen it dont exist! BTW, while in there only one staff member helped customers, while other staff including mgmt stood around talking. Cashier did everything go get part, answer phone, check out customers in the long line! The 5 stars are for the cashier working saturday feb 19, 2022. No one else!

2022-02-19Very unprofessional. I walked in to get a service engine code, and waited in my car for a minute. I go back in for them to tell me they don’t do codes at night. So why would you guys have me just sitting outside and no one came to say a word, then get smart about it!!!

2021-11-30When I first walked in the store, I stated I have a battery that needs to be exchanged and Id like to exercise my warrenty. The available clerk asked me for my cell number, to retrieve the data. After doing so, he said, were good; then I asked again, and said, let me see... yep your good. He then stated, Just go out and get your battery for the exchange. After 20 minutes, I loosened the battery, brought it in, only to hear him say, Sorry I miscalculated; your warrenty is up. I then said, Weve doubled checked though! He then said, he cant do it and asked me what do I want to do. I then asked for a charge, of which they did for 40 minutes. Still the batterys best charge was just above 650 cold crank. It was at that point I asked for my old receipt. Nobody at this store wanted to print out my old receipt, from 2018, of a battery I bought. My argument now was for my warrenty and to see my receipt. The clerks now have teamed together to push a decision. I didnt have a working battery, nor my receipt from the last purchase years ago. The store lost my trust.

2020-12-03My car ran out of oil, I walked to the store but I arrived early, there were 20 minutes left to open I decided to wait outside but according to the manager, he said that I could not be there, I had to leave. That it was his property that it was his property that I could be close to there until 7:30 and he was pushing me to the other side of the street. And there I was waiting with the great cold that did not even let me stop the cold outside his store. I would prefer that I speak to the police, he is just waiting for the store to open, there were 20 minutes left

2020-11-23They offer free services and I needed my battery checked and the employee was very helpful. Unfortunately something wasnt quite right as the reading indicated that the battery was good, but it wouldnt start when I tried to leave. Pep Boys is right next door and they tried numerous times to jump me off, but it never started up. To say the least, I was there in the parking lot until around 6:30 or 7:00pm waiting for another person to come help. Fortunately, he did get it started and told me that it was the battery. Guys at both places were super helpful and attentive, but was baffled when the car wouldnt start.

2021-04-21When I called the customer service was very poor from Alex and the other guy that had me on hold for over 10 minutes and didnt bother to reassure me. Tobiah T. On the other hand was great and pleasant and went above and behind to make sure I have the service I need.

2021-03-25Went here because it said online a part was located here after calling and nobody answering the phone to make sure. Get there the workers walked around not acknowledging anyone not even the phone. Literally picking up the phone and instantly placing calls on hold and walking off. After a 15min wait with only me and another person infront of me I inquired about the part. Long story short the part was listed as being located at the store but workers couldnt find it or even bothered to find another store where it might be.....wont be coming here again
