Alessios Restaurant & Pizzeria in other cities:
Food is always delicious!! Pizza is to die for. Like seriously their pizza is just amazing. The salads are great too! Aileen took care of us and she is the best!!! Best service I have had in a long time. I got the small Greek salad this visit with no feta and added sun-dried tomatoes- yum!!! Cant wait to come back!!!
For tonight’s dinner we ordered the bruschetta for our appetizer, and the chicken Marsala and spaghetti and meatballs with grilled shrimp. As first-time customers, we couldn’t be more disappointed with our meal! Our food was tasteless and tasted like grocery store frozen food. What ever happened to quality over quantity and the price for this was ridiculous. Needless to say, we will not be patronizing this restaurant in the future.
I was disappointed because the first time the pizza was good so I decided to go back and the next two times were not so great. I ordered a large cheese pizza, spinach dip, mozzarella sticks and zucchini fries both times and both times the spinach/artichoke dip was cold and thick both and the mozzarella sticks were cold and stale with hard cheese. Tasted like they were freezer burned. The two young ladies hosting and checking out were very rude and not friendly at all. That on top of getting home to food that was very disappointing was enough for me not to return. I didn’t bother to call and complain bc with the attitude of the two ladies, I figured it would be a waste of time.
Alessios is the best! I love their NY style pizza, salads and soup. I especially like the wait staff at lunch. Carlye and Hope do a bang-up job on waiting tables and making everyone feel like family. They are very attentive and respond to customer requests quickly. Visit soon b/c you will not be disappointed!
The Dynamic Duo of Carley and Hope who run the bar area always treat us like family when we arrive! They know what we like and provide excellent service. The pizza is great and always comes out the way we want it! Would also recommend their pasta with vodka sauce is to die for!!
Food was gross.Spinach Artichoke dip was soupy and it tasted old and the cream/cheese used tasted cheap. The Mozzarella Sticks tasted like they were just heated up. The cheese inside was hard.My Fettuccine Alfredo tasted old, the noodles tasted stale and again, cheap cream/cheese. My boyfriend said his Chicken Marsala tasted like someone poured canned mushrooms on top of flavorless chicken, added stale spaghetti noodles and called it a day. Will not be coming back.
I always love this restaurant, but I ordered the chicken tender kids meal, it used to be real meat but this time it was processed meat like nuggets. I called the restaurant and they told me that due to COVID sometimes they substitute items. Honestly that’s really not acceptable, if they are changing it at least mention that. Thanks
Had high expectations considering the rating and reviews. Fettuccini Alfredo was very bland, the only flavor to the pasta was the blackened chicken we ordered with it. Where’s the kick of garlic? The cheese? Anything!?! Side note, the pizza’s looked good although I didn’t get it.
This was our second time here and we had a blast with Carlye and Hope! We had them as our servers last time and they’re one of the main reasons we came back. They’re both so inviting and sweet and also suggested the best dessert EVER- the piz-ookie 🤤 I take my kids to eat with their grandpa at least once a week and because of Carlye and Hope, this will definitely be a place we make a weekly stop!!
Food is terrible, and terribly overpriced!!! For starters, lets talk about the Meatballs that are basically 90% breadcrumbs and 10% meat. They are a good size, but there isnt any meat to these meatballs. Next, the Garlic Bread: it wasnt Garlic Bread, it was simply toasted baguette that was cold, hard and served with some luck warm marinara sauce. Lastly, the Spinach Salad: it was supposed to be a large Spinach Salad, but was quite small; and, the dressing that was served with it tasted like corn syrup mixed with some seasoning. All in all, if you like eating junk, youll love this place. If youre looking for authentic, well made Italian cuisine, dont bother with this place!!!
I have had 3+ pizzas from here hoping each time the pizza would be good but everytime the pizza has been chewy. So much so that after 2 slices, my jaw starts hurting. Yesterday I ordered garlic bread and it was just toast with a dash of garlic. 2 stars only for the servers/ cashiers.
Hadnt been there in a while but came in to order takeout Fri July 9. Small Margarhita pizza and large half cheese half pepperoni and sausage. Even though not there in few months Carlye mentioned my absence right away and welcomed me back. Also had an IPA while waiting of course!
Really great experience here. When we arrived, the manager was tidying up the patio, which was our first indication that the people here take pride in their work. The menu had so many great options, it was hard to make up our minds. To be honest, we over ordered. the pizza is great, but so is the pasta options and the appetizers. Try the fried zucchini. The service was excellent and the value was spot-on.
Typically, I do not take the time to write bad reviews. But if I could give this place less than a one star rating, I would. No one in this restaurant seems to take pride in what they do. It’s as if it is amateur hour all day long here. The first thing I noticed was the stench of marijuana coming off of some employees right here in the restaurant. When I was asked what I would like to eat, my waiter’s arms were crossed intently as if he had been standing all day waiting for me to order which made me uncomfortable so I requested to be helped by someone else. After that, all was good. The tables could have been cleaned a bit better but that wasn’t my concern. Anyways, I ordered two medium 12 inch pizzas. One with cheese and onions, the other with cheese and pepperoni. Upon the arrival of my meal, it had come to my realization that the chef in the back is a complete novice at such a simple job, my onion pizza literally looked like a French onion soup with WAY too much cheese and a pool of grease that moistened the crust and bottom of the pizza. On the other hand, the pepperoni pizza seemed to have the proper serving of cheese but the pepperoni’s looked like they were just thrown on the pizza with a horrible presentation. Unfortunately, if I were to audit this place, they would receive a very low rating. Doing my own cut test on these pizzas revealed that the pizza is too thin in the middle with large bubbles around the crust. That is a big no no if you are being audited. I love pizza and I would really like to see this place turn into a real restaurant. Please take this review into consideration and try to get these changes fixed.
Great service and food. We went for Saturday lunch with family and enjoyed the kids meal, wings, zucchini fries (amazing) and pizza. We also celebrated my mothers birthday and they gave us a free cookies with ice cream. They do not have much of a beverage selection and the wings were salty. Otherwise it was a perfect experience. The kids enjoyed the crayons and coloring books to pass the time.
I ordered 3 pies to go via the online system. Its a clean, nice corner location. Ambient noise was good, outside seating, but right now its just too hot. The staff were friendly and my food was ready when I arrived. Huge pies with adequate toppings. I much favor N.Y. style pizza and this didnt disappoint.
A nice little pizza place in suburbs. Was in the area and craving some pizza so I decided to stop by this place.Okay to start. Its not really that little. Its rather spacious actually with high ceilings and plentiful of seating arrangements both inside and outside.Menu is typical of most Italian restaurant. They do focus mostly on pizza but they offer some pasta options as well. The service is fairly decent. Hard to judge how they actually are on a busy day. They did a good job of checking in when they needed to without being too invasive.Overall, a good spot to grab a bite to eat. Its simple and to the point as pizza should be. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.
Vincent was my server and he was incredibly friendly and attentive. My food was delicious and came out quickly and so fresh ! The greek salad and pizza lunch combo was fairly priced and filling. I cant wait to return and bring friends with me this time to enjoy this wonderful restaurant.
Restaurant was clean and food was really good. They seem to have different pizza varieties. We tried the Sicilian deep dish Veggie pizza and it looked good as well as tasted good. The medium pizza itself is quite big for one person. Only negative is that, we went around 8:00 pm and most of the staff working there seemed to be already getting ready to leave....
Not good!!! They may have good pizza I don’t know but the food is less than mediocre...The Chicken Piccata is watery and tastes like Campbell’s Chicken noodle soup and the chicken was overcooked. For $17 it was nasty. The Lasagna is edible but very small portion for $14. The Caprese salad was just OK...average at best. Not much basil and very little balsamic glaze. Again very expensive for the size and quality. There are much better options in the area if you want quality Italian food. Will not be returning or ordering from here again.
I just moved to GA from NY a month ago, my children and I couldnt find any real pizza at all. You know that being from NY that we have certain expectations when it comes to pizza. I came across Alessios while delivering for Uber eats. I definitely wanted to try it because they call themselves the New York pizzeria I ate at the Johns Creek location for the first time today. I was immediately welcomed with a warm smile as I came into the restaurant. My waitress Olivia was great, very patient, and helped with everything. I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, a while slice, and fettuccine Alfredo with Blackened shrimp. I the pizza was not hot at all but it was delicious. The fettuccini Alfredo was amazing. I loved it. I will be back one day.
A really great little gem of a restaurant that we keep going back to. The unassuming exterior and simple interior belay the great for that is served here. The pizzas are amazing and the pasta is superb, the staff are friendly and the whole place is really family-friendly. Great spot for and easy meal!
Best pizza I have had in Atlanta Metro so far. Great cheese mix, thin crispy crust and good sauce. The wings were fried and never frozen and the gentlemen who took my order over the phone was very thorough and nice. Switch wings to cardboard boxes in order to keep them crispy for a delivery of takeout. I will absolutely be taking my wife here ASAP to eat in!
From the moment you arrive in this place the waiters give you a great feeling. Very comfortable hosts, it is a nice place to pass time with friends and colleagues or with your date. delightful cuisine, talented chef, reasonable price and excellent service. Highly recommended.
Good food, great service. Decided to check it out after church since it was on our way home. Ive had their pizza before and it was really good. It wasnt busy, so the service was quick. I had he chicken parm sub, and it was not what I expected. Chicken was chopped for the sandwich, and was different. Still pretty good. My wife had the meatball parm sub and said it was delicious.
Great New York style pizza. They get really busy on Fridays and Saturdays so you might have a bit of a wait if youre in peak hours, but the wait staff really hustles to make sure you get what you need as quickly as possible. Favorite go to spot when I want a quality hand made pie.
Mediocre/low quality. Have had frozen food that is better. Ordered dinner for family. My chicken parmesan was very tough/rubbery, couldnt even finish it. Husband had italian sausage in sauce. It was just ok. Ordered a side of 2 italian sausages to go with it, but received sliced sausage in marinara sauce instead. Daughter had Marsala chicken and didnt like it.RosaMia is so so much better. As is Sugos. And Maggianos too. I would choose frozen dinner from grocery store over this any day, and I am not a fan of frozen dinners.
We visited Alessios on the night of January 4th. The food was just so-so and we had problems with our server. She was very clearly stoned. She had a hard time taking our order because everything seemed to confuse her and she nearly dropped baked Ziti on my son (she was off balance and wasnt able to judge the correct angle to hold the plate--the garlic knots landed on the table). The spinach dip was very watery and the ziti and my wifes sandwich were just ok (not worth the money). My gluten free pizza was the only bright spot in the meal. The management needs to make sure that their wait staff is functional and capable of doing their job, and they need to pay more attention to the quality of the food. Well get our Italian fix elsewhere for the time being.
Good and comforting Italian food. The place has a family atmosphere so it is a good place to visit with your kids.We ordered baked Ziti, Ziti with meatballs and pizza - all dishes were very tasty and we enjoyed it.The service is amazing and so kind.I definitely will come back soon.
Awesome. I have really been struggling to find good pizza north of Atlanta since moving here from New England 6 years ago. Alessios is in the top 3 with Finnis and Johnnys New York. I ordered two double pepperoni slices and I got two huge slices loaded with pepperoni just as I like it. If I order double pepperoni at Johnnys, I pay twice but dont get twice the meat. Their crust is good but they just dont get the meat part. This was excellent. Thin, crunchy, tasty crust, plenty of cheese, and lots of pepperoni. They had a few beers on draft and a wine selection but I was there for lunch. Cant wait to go back.
Good food. Terrible delivery.Really bad experience with the catering order done yesterday for around 30 people. Beware you will be charged for delivery but you will also need to shell out cash gratuity for driver. Also please be aware that unlike any other place you will be taught that when you order something for catering you have to pay for foil trays. Most places other than Alessios loves catering orders as they do not have to work for 25-30 people serving, plates and cleaning the place but at Alessios their catering manager will deliver the food himself, collect the Gratuity in cash and will teach you how much it costs to buy foil trays and serving spoon even though you have paid $20 to them for the same. Please read my detail review on this experience on Yelp.
Met my father here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The dining room was about 1/4 occupied. The inside was nice and well put together. The service was an extreme disappointment as well as the pizza.I sat down 15 minutes before my father and still hadnt gotten my drink when he arrived. Both asked for a bottle club soda and both got soda water from the fountain, which is fine if Im not being charged $3 apiece for club soda.We ordered a single pizza to split and only asked if we could get mushrooms instead of banana peppers. Yeah sure you can do that. We got charged extra for the mushrooms. We were given the most sad depressing pizza about 45 minutes later. Almost all the toppings were in the middle of the pizza and the cook was pretty light with them to begin with. We also asked for extra cheese. There was definitely not extra cheese. Our waitress spent a good amount of her time doing side work and checking her phone rather than helping us. I found the manager sitting at the bar who was nice enough to fix the check and apologize for us. Maybe we just happen to come on an off day.TLDR: Wait staff are loud, unobservant, unhelpful, and poorly trained. Kitchen staff do not seem to care at all. The outside looks nice I guess. Was mostly dead during lunch hours on a weekend.
Food was DELICIOSO!! We started off with the mozzarella sticks which were amazing! Pizza and Chicken Parmesan were our main courses and they too were finely prepared. The waiter was excited and energetic to our feedback being we were new to the restaurant. Alessios definitely is worth your time if your tastebuds crave Italian food! Thanks from NC!
Absolutely incompetent. Walked in with wife and two young kids at 1207pm. Ordered large pepperoni pizza from a blonde lady 1210pm. 1235pm still no pizza after asking for single slices in the meantime and denied(why deny me such an easy solution?), waited 5 more minutes. Wrong pizza arrived. Walked out. Wouldnt go here for free.
Bought a slice a few times. Its kind of hit or miss with how good it is. The price of the pizza and the randomness of when they make it good doesnt add up to me. Sometimes the toppings are backed on well, sometimes they arent. Im not confident enough in them to buy a whole pizza at this point. Ill see how it goes though
This place is legitimately pushing out delish pizza. I keep trying new places that seem to fail the smell, look and taste test consistently (sometimes good others not). Alessios really knows quality pizza. I dont know about the service as i always carry out but the staff are completely wonderful whenever i come in.
We ordered CHICKEN MARSALA, thats my goto dish at every Italian restaurant i love it so much, but this was by far the worst i had, it was bland..the only flavor i had was sweet..the mushrooms were not cooked in the sauce properly..i think the cook forgot to put the salt or anything in it..Second dish was the SPAGHETTI SAN PIETRO, it was delicious..more oily than i prefer, but the taste was great..
Great za! May want to increase oven temp by 50 to 100 degrees for crispier crust. Just sayin. That was 2 years ago... Tonight is much different! Slices were old and limp. Asked them to make the crust crispy and they thru it back in the oven until they were burnt and dry, but still not crispy! Her excuse was that the slices are made in the morning!?!?!?
Food was great. Service tableside great. Mgmt terrible. Several of our daughters were playing a game this evening. One game took the 50 cents from our 6 yr old without allowing them to play. She politely went up to the front counter, the female manager ignored her and then explain their policy. As her father I went up with her a 2nd time to discuss what had happened. Female manager replied with a standard policy that they do not own the games, someone else does and they are not responsible for what happens with them. Of course my compliant is not about 50 cents, but about her negative tone, attitude, in front of my children. All she had to do was give 50 cents to my daughter the 1st time and all would have been well. But to explain to a 6 yr old their policy and then to have me have to go up there again to have this customer unfriendly policy explained.....totally unacceptable. So now this business will learn the hard, expensive way, that they should of trained their manager to better handle a simple situation, especially dealing with a child. We now, being there with another couple, will never return, living very close by. This amounts to probably $500-600 annually in sales loss from each family. And we will make it our mission to tell hundreds of fellow Suwanee and Johns Creek friends & neighbors to not visit your establishment and why. Wow, all of that business you will lose, just over 50 cents and not taking accountability for a machine you allow to be placed working in your business. Get ready, Winter is coming.......
I would put zeroes stars if I could. The food is mediocre. What really flustered us is that the server, a blonde woman, handed us a receipt that only shows the total amount along with a pen to write down the tip. Our grand total was too large, so we calculated the exact prices and it still wouldn’t match. We asked for a break down of the receipt and apparently an 18% tip was already included. Like?????? First of all, you’re supposed to TELL your customers that tip is included. There was no indication of it on the receipt. And second, tip is usually 15% and is subjective to whether the customer wants to give it or not. Our waitress just voluntarily gave herself that tip. And then proceeded to naturally give us a pen with the receipt as if she expected us to write an additional tip. Unbelievable. The last few times we came here we have been writing down additional tips. Be careful, and don’t tip until you know it isn’t included and your server deserves it. What a disappointment of a business and a disgrace to Italian food. Find a better restaurant.PS. When the food is ready to serve, a bell rings. Our server spent 10 minutes talking to a woman instead of getting our food. It took too long for 3 pastas. Smh.
Had the mozerella sticks.Stopped i n with 3 of my fellow crew members ,at lunch,as soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by an inhospitabllealessios emplyees..all but one a nice young lady that wad rolling silverware at a bak table...we were told by whay looked to b the manager that you guys shoulda left your boots outside or found somewhere else to dine!.how rude we are piplayers. ².15 minutes in and still no order taken .finally order.at 35 minutes in .20 mins 2 of the 4 orders arrive.2 0 mins after that 2 final ordersarrive. Mozzerella stiks were advertised freah made.....they were still partway frozen and the 4 order were the sliders with fresh baked bread..turnd out to be store bough ak of dinner rolls and cheap frozen meatballs.grand tota$.l 96.00.the whole time all we could here was the cook and manager talk about their neverending drug use and talkññ.n of worth the bad experience quality is nonexistent to the poor girl rolling silverware like she was a piece of trash.w pretty worst dining trip in 25 years

2021-12-18This isn’t my real name.I ordered a large pepperoni and sausage pizza with 20 wings (lemon pepper and garlic parm crispy). The pizza was average. The wings lacked flavor as if someone forgot to put the correct seasoning amount on ‘em. None of the wings were crispy and all were swimming in butter. Ordered through Grubhub and wasted $70 (the fees, taxes and tip added $25).My first order from here and my last.Pics were a free hours after delivery. No one liked em.

2021-10-01I ate here when they first opened and remembered it was good and hadnt been in awhile and now I probably wont be coming back...one of the worst made pizzas...all of the toppings are in the middle of the pizza l. A pile of onions in the middle 2 inches of the pizza. My wife got the gluten free pizza and its soggy. Not sure what happened...Id heard good things.

2022-04-20We are in town visiting family so we decided to visited here yesterday to grab lunch. The service was absolutely terrible. We sat for a good 20-30 minutes waiting for just our drinks and menus. When the manager or whoever she was asked the worker why they hadn’t served us the servers had no answer. They just stood there staring at me like a deer in the headlights. When we finally got our pizza it was room temperature and not good at all. Then it took forever for us to get our ticket. Honestly Pizza Hut and papa johns has better pizza than this place. We definitely won’t be back and won’t recommend anyone to ever go here.

2022-05-15I remember a few years ago when Alessios was one of my go-to places for pizza, back when the service was great and the toppings were robust. My experience there last night, however, was a very disappointing one. The servers had zero personality, the pizza crust was dry and crunchy, and the lack of toppings on the supreme pizza we ordered was just plain depressing. If I wanted to spend money on a pizza of that quality, I wouldve picked up a frozen one at the grocery store instead of wasting thirty dollars at Alessios. The staff also didnt bother to replenish the parmesan cheese shakers and our server didnt even check back on us until we asked one of the others for the check. There has been a serious decline in quality and service here, which is why I recommend getting pizza elsewhere.

2022-06-30This place is fantastic! Had passed it by to and from the gym and always checked it out. Finally went with my daughter who was craving fettuccine afredo. I got the wings, trying to stay low carb. Dirty wings were phenomenal!! Will definitely be going on a regular basis!

2022-07-13The Philly cheesesteak pizza was really good. The steak was seasoned. The bell peppers or onions did not over come the taste of the sauce, cheese, or meat.

2022-03-07Hands down worst Italian “Sub” that I’ve ever had the displeasure of eating. The bread was simply terrible and appeared to not have finished baking. It was a semi glossy pale white throughout and tasted of rubber. It wasn’t even cut into a traditional sub shape, but more like a sandwich. It lacked of any flavor and was dry as sand. The garlic bread I ordered used the same sub bread, and tasted exactly the same, just burnt to a crisp. Avoid this restaurant like the plague.

2020-06-21We had high hopes for this place, the reviews were really good.Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We ordered a classic margherita and added pepperoni. Our pizza was very crispy and extremely dry. The sauce was so sparse that some of the slices were half dry. When you pay $25 for a pizza you do expect a little more taste.
