I brought the vehicle that I was about to buy for pre purchase inspection. Voila, they found issues worth $3000 in the vehicle but they didnt match with any actual issues that the vehicle had. I took the vehicle after purchase, to another workshop and whatever issues that this shop has identified were not found. The new workshop did found issues in the Van but they were very different then found by these guys.Basically, Alex Rajabi and his team are useless.
The management (owner?) has changed some time ago, this shop was ok before, but I took my car there recently and... ugh, just read below: so, I asked them to replace the breaks and to check the a noise coming from the front right wheel.They quoted me the breaks job $100 more than the dealer! Later, they agreed to match the dealers price but warned me that the breaks will not be as good as they could do for extra $100. So, now you get the gist about prices there.Next - they claimed that the noise is coming due to the axle that should be replaced. Well, that was almost $300 extra work. Note, that not only they did not fix the noise (it was actually a strut) but they also did not tighten the assembly, which started producing more noise. Later, the dealer had to re-tighten it which cost me extra $130.The verdict is very simple: overpriced shop with incompetent mechanics
Very nice, family friendly waiting room and my oil change was very fast. They asked about my car overall and didnt just push recommended services down my throat. In all the shops Ive been to, Ive never been asked about my car, just told. I liked that.
**Do not bring your vehicle here.Not sure what happened since Steve isnt here anymore but the service is dangerous.Brought my SUV here for an issue, $800+ later the issue was not solved. Returned with the same issue, they replaced the control arms and tires, $1300, left and came right back, vehicle alignment was off. The Mechanic drove my truck in the dark with no lights on. I waived for him to stop so I could tell him the lights werent on, he ignored me and kept going. He returned and attempted to adjust the alignment. I left, noticed a noise when turning the wheels and going over speed bumps. Had it checked by an auto shop and they found FOUR LOOSE BOLTS on the control arms. THIS WAS A HAZARD AND A ISSUE THAT SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED. YOU CANT MAKE MISTAKES LIKE THAT ON A PERSONS VEHICLE.Youve been warned.
Their prices are incredibly competitive and they fight for the best deal at the best quality. The labor prices are very competitive as well. Theyve done multiple jobs for myself, my family and my friends ranging get from an oil change to replacing the whole cooling system and fan clutch on a 2008 nissan pathfinder.
I cant recommend Alpharetta Auto enough! After years of making the mistake and going to the auto body shop right down the road (which never remembered my name), I was referred here by a friend...and will never go anywhere else! Steve, Amir, and the rest of the guys really get to know you and the vehicles that they service! They treat you fairly and greet you by name...This is another local business that needs and deserves our support because they truly appreciate their customers!
Watch out for these guys. We had them replace a door lock on a Honda Civic over a year ago and recently found out they did not properly re-assemble the internal door liner which caused a water leak from the door under the carpet inside the car. In turn, we developed mold/mildew and had to pay over $500 to replace the carpet in our car and repair re-assemble and re-seal the door liner like they should have done. In addition, the owner was rude to us at the time of repair but we were so far into the repair we just wanted them to finish and move on. Little did we know they also took a shortcut in re-assembling the door which cost us significant money later on. I would not trust the quality of service here unless you can visually see everything that is done.
Drove over for emissions testing where a banner was hanging over the bay that read $20 charge....also had a $5 coupon from their website. Was told the price had recently increased to $25 and they had yet to update the banner or website. When I suggested that they were practicing false advertising and that they should honor the coupon and $20 fee was told to go across the road....needless to say, will not bring any of my vehicles back to this establishment.
The guys at Alpharetta Auto Service are some of the nicest guys ive ever met. This is truely the nest shop i have ever stepped foot in. I came to these guys asking for a new o2 sensor when discovering the part cost alot more than what i thought the guys worked with me so much on the price that i was just in shock. This wasnt a 10 dolar discount this was a huge discount. I have never been in a shop that was willing to twist things around for me this much. These guys are some of the friendliest and down to earth people youll ever meet. I would highly recommend them for any auto repair, emissions test or car service. If you ever need car work done this is the place to go!!
DO NOT GO HERE!! THEY WILL ROB YOU BLIND! This is not the original auto shop that was so great ..Eddie no longer works there and they are the worst!Overcharged me and I had just bought brand new high end windshield wipers about 6 months ago.. the jerks took off my new ones and put on a pair of cheap a$$ ones and try to tell me they were bad!! ! This is the worst place to go ....use to be the best but no more!! Be careful people!Zero stars!!

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a mechanic. Charges 120 for a consultation then calls me an hour later to tell me there’s a busted hose and the repair will cost 289. Calls me back 4 hours later and starts making stories up about other repairs need that’ll total $900. Rude customer service, don’t waste your money.
I brought my car to them July 28th for them to check my engine, provide me with new tires, and a oil change. They called me the next week on a Wednesday I believe speaking on the payment. I gave them my mothers number and told them that shell be the one to paying for the expenses. The following day I asked my momther if she received a call from them and she says no. I personally took a visit to the shop to see the condition my car was in if any changes have been made. But they had lost my records of my car being there. Even though on the 28th Of i filled out a blue sheet stating the condition I wanted on my car. They hadnt been working on the car. For 2 weeks Ive been stuggling to get around. I am a college student and I also work very hard. The trouble and time wasted bring my car to them was unbelievable I will never bring my car to them ever again. I removed my car from there hold and my car wouldnt start do to it sitting in theyre parking lot for so long! The tires were even more flat also. Luckily I dont live very far from their shop so I managed to get home. When I reached my house my car was smoking and making a terrible sound. I didnt receive a apology from the men that worked there or help. Just a waist of time!!!!!!
Great group of guys, service was incredibly speedy. They ordered and installed a taillight assembly for me and four hours later, the job was done. Theyve earned a repeat customer for sure.
Recently Alpharetta Auto Service was recommend to me by a friend , I was nerves but when I went to the place Mr Steve and his team proof that to me they are the best in the area ,He told me what was my problem and also he helped me a lot , talked about the other issues may I have and his recommendation too ; I never had anyone to tell me about the issues . Stay Away from this place. This place rips you off on all levels based on my multiple visits experience. This place does not deserve even 1 starI had very bad experience when i had my first service done at this place in 2007 with excess rates and unwanted charges. I visited this time since it is close to my home. Steve Rajabi owner of this place is the most notorious owner i have seen in recent times.He does not allow customer bought parts and overcharge high price for his parts than any other store in city. Part which is available in local store for 100-125$ is charged at 194$ at this place. He did not accept oil change coupon showing reason that he is not meinke and he insisted that i have to show my coupon at the beginning so that he will do different service. He takes advantage of customers by charging excess on parts, wrong estimations. He maintains Alpharetta auto center and meinke as 2 different business but does service combined by charging customers over priced where ever possible. If customer walks with meinke coupon he says we did service at other business and this coupon does not work. Staff working under owner are courteous but not owner
Brought my truck to get some nails out and they took me right in . Very friendly staff. Work was done quickly. I recommend this place to everyone . Ill come back if I need anything.

2022-01-22I’ve been here at least 20 times over the years. I was waiting to see if my experience was consistent. It was. I love this place. As a woman, I am always nervous to bring my car in to any shop without my husband but the first visit here, Alex made me feel heard and valued. He and Hussein have always listened to my complaints and stories without judgement and consulted accordingly. I am absolutely 100% satisfied and comfortable with this business and will be returning many more times. The customer service is fantastic and the repairs don’t take 5 weeks.An added plus, there’s a comfy waiting area upstairs with a few business desks (one with a comfy executive business chair 😁), some sofas, a fridge, books and a play area for children, and I’m sure a few other things I’ve forgotten.Also, every time I’ve come here, there have been Johns Creek Police vehicles. If they trust this shop…. I’m just saying. 💁🏽♀️20/10 Definitely Recommend!

2022-03-29Just went here recently to get repairs on my car. The cost they quoted on the phone to me was not the final price they charged me once I went to get my car. They ended up charging $100 more than what they said they were going to charge me. Beware the price they quote on the phone is not the real price.

2020-09-16My family and I have been bringing all of our cars to this shop (from SUVs to sport cars) for well over a decade now. We have never been disappointed and have had top notch service every time. The owner and employees have always been extremely helpful, professional and courteous. Would recommend for any vehicle needs old or new. Dont get ripped off by the stealership, this place is definitely our one stop shop.

2020-07-28I have always had professional, reasonably priced service at Alpharetta Auto. I first used them after realizing that a nearby competitor often over diagnoses and overcharges. They clearly explain the issue and their recommendations, and recognize the value of repeat customers. And if you happen to know a little bit about cars, they will listen to what you have to say and not be dismissive.

2018-07-26Great experience. Went in to get emissions test, but check engine had come on. They diagnosed and fixed the issue quickly and for a fair price (applied the diagnostic fee to the cost of the repair), then, since we’re new to the area, they threw in the emissions test. Paul’s a great dude - stayed late when I knew he had to pick up his daughter, and he cheerfully made sure I was taken care of. Great service. I’ve found my mechanic!
