Gross. Bathrooms were out of soap. They were out of everything my kids wanted. 3 different kinds of candy and two flavor slushees. Popcorn is cold. There’s popcorn all over the floor that we just had to wait to be “cleaned”.Nothing looks like it’s been wiped down let alone sanatized in forever. We bought tickets online for a movie that said it starts at 6:45… come 7:15 I ask are we in the wrong theater and they said no online was wrong this movie doesn’t start until 7:30.Wish we would have just made the 30 minute drive to a nicer, cleaner more update place!
I love the venue and it’s in a great location. I definitely would recommend. Super comfortable seating too!!!HOWEVER, I went to see a top tier movie with a headlining A-list actor on a Saturday night and there were 6 people at the 9:30 show. 😳I hate to say it as much as they hate to hear it, but I think we are witnessing the beginning of the end for these large scale cineplexes. It’s apparent when they show a commercial AT the movies begging people to come BACK to the movies.
We went to see Clifford the Big Red Dog 🐕 It was a great movie. The movie was great ❤The staff is wearing masks. The paper straws are kind of annoying bc they seem to wear to thin before a large drink is gone. Also wish the theaters had the signs that indicate what movie is in that theater instead of the street like sign above directing traffic, we passed our theater bc the movie was in multiple theaters.
Took my son to movies to see Halloween kills, this is first time I have been to movies in about 15 years... Lol and my sons first time! Had a great time! Very clean. A little pricey but then again, the last time I went to the movies it was a loooong time ago. Prices go up.... 🙄 It wasnt very busy, so we got good seats. It was a very nice time.
It was wonderful to be back in the AMC Classic 13 movie theatre to see the new James Bond offing, No Time to Die. Going to the movies is a communal experience that I have sorely missed in this era of COVID-19. Seeing and hearing a movie in a movie theatres specially designed space is worth the money.
Lazor tag. I am the reigning lasor tag champion at this location. Anyone can attempt to take that title from me in trial by combat. The putt putt is also pretty entertaining. They have really revitalised the place, seems like they spent some good money fixing it up. Lasor tag.
Very big theaters with reclining seats. the only negative Ill say is that the seats being new leather are so distracting because all you can hear during the movie if someone is adjusting their seat is the squeaking of the leather that sounds like a long monotonous fart. Other than that - nice theater
Came to see Cruella at 4:30 and had an issue with the tickets on my app. We were just going to go to the 5:15 at the other theater but the GM was on duty and checked seating for us and seated us anyways. Great customer service experience every time, but this time was exceptional.
Previously an A-list member and Premier movie at AMC. We love seeing a movie on the big screen! Hadnt been to the theater since February due to covid concerns and it being shut down for awhile. This is the best Classic levels of AMC theaters I have been to and we have gone to several in different states. The theater was pretty empty which made me sad but from a covid standpoint made me very comfortable. The facility was clean and they had enough employees. Popcorn was fresh, and we will able to fill our drinks and have refills. The small theater we were in had 35 reclining, lush seats, and including me and my companion only had 6 total.Everyone was respectful in wearing mask when entering the theater, or coming and going. I felt very safe. AMC is blocking the seat on either side of you when you book your seat so they are doing an excellent job of social distancing and following protocol!
The bowling alley is ok... but the resraurant its horrible.. empty restaurant 5 employees and we have to wait 45 minutes for the food.. no one on the kitchen had gloves or hair nets.. the drinks water down and where never refiled.. I myself went to the kitchen to refill them twice.. a toddler eating tenders and fries never got ketchup.. no napkins or straws where serve... when I ask for the ticket the server offer to discount my plate, i thougt it was for the horrible service, naww she thought i was an employee because i walked into the kitchen 3 times.. I pay with a $50 bill wich have to be checked by the whole staff, like they never seen one before.. I try to ak for a manager trough the hole place just to be told that managers dont work on sundays. The same employee told me thats the reason everyone behave like that on sundays.. totally disrespectful.. been there so many times before.. but i dont think i will be back... and the food its too spicy and salty... it dont state so on the menu.. at least the menus are wash on the sink.. they where dripping wet when we got them...
Me and my wife went here for the movies and we had a great time. We went to one of the Starlight loungers theater. That was a great experience sitting back in a big lounge chair and the temperature in the theater was great it was not too cold or too hot. I still think everything in the theater is overpriced but I guess youre really paying for the experience. Overall we had an outstanding time and the employees were very friendly.
Beautiful place. Its clean, staff are friendly, and the theaters are incredible. The sound and picture quality is awesome (Ive been in the 2D theaters, dont know about IMAX or 3D), and theyve installed the new reclining seats with extra foot room that some movie theaters are moving toward. Good selection of movies typically, and located right next door to Hollywood Connections, which can make for a perfect date night.
Love the reclining seats and overall cleanliness of the theatre. Downside was that theaters are small and seating limited so be prepared with a few choices in case you cant see the one you planned to as was with us...first 2 choices were a no go but 3rd time was the charm and it turned out to be a great movie! I also dont like that I cant pour my own butter over my popcorn but the employees were all very nice.
Theater is above average. The Star Lounger chairs are super comfortable and the recline function is fantastic. Screen and audio are both high quality. The arcade is a blast. Plenty of new games and older classics. One of the best air hockey tables Ive played on in ages.
This theater is nice. Generally clean, and employees are welcoming. The recliner theaters are nice though a bit pricey in the evening. I do wish their climate control in the theater was better as the spaces are always on the warm side. For what you pay in ticket prices, I would expect this to be a non-issue. Overall, though, I would recommend.
It was a good experience. The popcorn wasnt fresh at all. The theater itself is very clean and relaxing. AMC offers a great military discount for active and retired members. I love this particular theater and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Id suggest eating before you get here.
Best movie theater I have been to! AMC classic with reserved seating has amazing seats and it is worth it. It is almost like watching a movie at home but in a really nice reclining chair. The facility is very clean and has friendly staff to get you setup with tickets as well as some refreshments for the movie. Recommend 100% 🎥 🍿
This is the only theatre in Columbus I will go to. I love the smaller theaters with the power reclining seats. They also have a bar which is super nice. The only thing they need to work on is cleanliness. There have been a few times I’ve went to sit down to watch a movie and there was garbage in the cup holder or on the floor.
I like this theater but they have some things they need to work on to get five stars from me. They need ushers for reserved seating so that if someone is sitting in your reserved seats they will move. Also the bathrooms need to be cleaned better and more often. If you have employees that dont want to do things right get new employees. The concessions operates way to slowly. It takes a long time just to get tickets. The seats are comfortable the movie and sound quality are very good.
I like this theater better because its small and not a lot of huge crowds that I hate. You know the kind that love to talk during the movie. They also ha e the posh seats in some.$5 Tuesday is my day to do see whatever I want and if its not a good movie...it was on $5. Clean and quiet and reasonable.
Nice and clean movie theater. Has comfortable reclining seats as well. The theater room I was in was small but spacious, and wherever you sat, you could see the screen just fine. My only problem was the long wait to buy tickets, we came in 10 minutes before it started, but didnt get our tickets until 10 minutes after. Thankfully, we got in to see the last trailer and didnt miss any of the movie. (This was a first showing.)Recommended: maybe upgrade to Premium. Premium membership lets you get in their smaller/non-existent line so you wont have to worry about missing your movie.
Theater with reclining chairs needs to be cleaned up under chairs, in chairs and in cup holders. Yuck! You can see the buildup under chairs as you approach your chair and in cup holders. I had sticky stuff in my chair. Besides that, staff is very kind and Im glad we have this place. AMC, please maintain your theaters, then major renovations wont have to happen.
Prices are the same as other AMC theaters in the area. I liked the set up of the concession and ticket area. Makes way more sense than the Columbus park 15. They also have a separate bar which looked full service instead of just beer and wine. We werent in the lounge seats which was a bit of a bummer. The seats were staggered well so you could see even if a tall person sat in front or you. But it felt like we didnt have a lot of leg room because of that too, so thats kinda good and kinda bad. Similarly, the seats were very cushioned but they didnt feel broken in at all -- like really hard memory foam. Bathrooms were MUCH better than the Columbus park 15. I also liked that they had concessions on the theater side of the ticket takers so you didnt have to run out far if you wanted another snack.
Had 2 FREE movie tickets, got a FREE large popcorn with my birthday rewards through the app and we bought a large soda. Total of about $7! Then we got a great surprise when they told us to go to the LUXURY theater! It had nice leather seats that let your feet up and let you lounge and vinyl hardwood flooring. It was very nice and unexpected at no extra cost!! We had a Great time. My daughter and i saw isnt it romantic which was also a great movie by the way.
This theater has been remodeled in the past year. Most all of the theaters are Star Loungers which means they are smaller and have nice adjustable recliners available for everyone. There is plenty of space to get to the aisle even if the recliners are fully extended. The sound and seating made for a pleasant viewing experience.
The theater is centrally located and near restaurants and shopping areas, yet does not share parking with other stores. The facility is clean and adequately staffed to expedite services. The concessions offer fresh popcorn, candies, and hot items. The venue also provides a bar with beer and wine. The reclining seats are a must... But need to buy tickets ahead for reclining seats.
Poorly organized. People were standing in line for tickets and food for too long (at least 20 people in line in front of us.) Open more registers or use kiosks for tickets. We ended up not standing in line. We bought our tickets online (for a convenience fee), walked around to the inside, by our theater, and bought concessions there. Our room had a low buzz throughout the previews and the chairs were not comfortable. If youre going to have reclining seats for some movies, but not others- lessen the price of those without.
Enjoyed the Black Panther Movie!! Awesome!! Experience too expensive!! Matinee sold out...next movie double the cost for the ticket....definitely not conducive for a family night of fun...single person cost $30.00 - which included - ticket..popcorn..drink.. Wow..blown away...Staff nice - although they didnt have enough time to clean before the next showing...waited a few minutes before entering.
Usually have a good experience with this theatre. Staff is always friendly and the theatres are clean. Came to the 9pm movie today and there was no popcorn made. This is a management issue for sure. It’s not like they were busy and ran out. Someone wasn’t on the ball today.
The movie theater has a lounger where the seats are all lounge chairs and you can really relax and lay back and enjoy the show. Also, the seats are assigned once you purchased them. Its really nice. They have pizza, bread sticks, popcorn, soda, icees, and candy. On Tuesday is $5 all for any show.
This is our go to theater. It is smaller than the other huge one but has the same offerings and if you are lucky can do reserved seating in recliners. They are also extremely organized when it comes to the newest popular releases and have you stand in line versus stampedes of people rushing to seats. We also love the AMC Stubs reward program and the freebies we earn for enjoying something we love.
Great date night theatre. They have electric leather recliners for seats, and each individual theatre is small enough so you dont have to worry about large groups being noisy. Literally right next door is an arcade with mini golf, lazer tag, and a skate rink. Only giving four stars because the concessions cost an arm and a leg, but hey, free refills!
Such a let down when the theater changed the way they ran the recliner seats. my wife has a bad back and the recliner seats have always made the movie experience enjoyable as it almost completely took away the pain.for the last month, its now almost impossible to find movie times for the film we want to see available in the recliner seats. it seems completely random when a show airs in that theater throughout the day. and when it does, its often only one showing. what happened? we havent been to movies nearly as much since and we miss it.
Not sure how to give it 3.5 stars so Im fine with the 4 stars because its a place I was able to share time with my family and friends ... the prices for the food are outlandish but spending time with family and friends while bonding over a movie is priceless. The staff today were friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. The bathrooms were clean as well which was surprising being that it was a crowded theater. Great experience
Movie theater was clean, great movie, fast and friendly services, however food and drinks were way too expensive. Paid 62 dollars for 3 popcorns, and 5 drinks. That isnt even including ticket prices. Quick reminder of why it is better to watch these things at home once they are released, lol.
Service was fast. Moviepass worked. Lots of available seating on oceans 8 opening night. Floor was dirty was my only complaint but picture, sound, and seats were all quality.AMC does not let your tickets from moviepass apply to a rewards program like Regal does. Pity.
Nice theatre, popcorn and soda is EXPENSIVE, but that is kind of normal. Could be cleaner, but not too bad. I have never had a problem with the way the theatre shows the movie (i.e. they dont leave too many lights on, sound is not too loud, or too soft, or distorted, etc...) I go hete regularly, they take my Movie Pass card so that is a big PLUS!
Kept relatively clean and have been happy with the services offered like reserved seating, reclining chairs, and AMC Stub benefits (e.g., free large refills and waiving online fees). The only drawbacks are that tickets are more expensive with cramped seating in theaters that dont have reserved seating.
I am giving them a 5 star rating because the theater was clean and the food and drink were decent BUT it cost too much to have a decent movie night with family!! Cmon AMC, people love to see movies and you get a lot of visitors, you do not have to charge $15 for nachos and a drink....good grief🤬🤬
I’ve visited the facility several times while visiting the area and had a good experience. On today’s visit, I arrived to enjoy Kevin Hart “The Upside” but it wasn’t displayed on the schedule display in the theater. I had to ask a cash if the movie was playing after which he replied that the s display board was not working but that the movie was indeed showing at the location.
Ive never been in a theater where you reserve seats, or that had such comfortable seating. I saw La La Land here with my husband a few weeks back and Ive never felt more comfortable in a movie theater. Plus, Im 7 months pregnant so I recommend this theater to all the pregnant ladies out there who dont want to sit in an uncomfy chair while trying to hold your pee for 2 hours lol
I got to the movies and hot dogs wasnt ready. They told me it would be a few minutes and they would bring it to me. I go to the theater room and sit for like 15minutes nothings playing my hot dog has not been brought to me. I go to see whats up with my food and the movie. The guy making my hot dog is now working the bar. He says hell bring it. I asked about the movie and they got it started. I got my hot dog 10 more minutes later. 🤬🤬👀
Not a good experience this last visit. Bathroom in long hallway water running on floor, door to one of stalls would not close. Theater we were in was HOT and there was no soundhad to leave door open and young girl that worked there had to turn air on and fix sound. She was very helpful. AMC needs to pick up their game to compare to how Carmike took care of their theaters. Also price for senior on website was 6.25 plus tax should have been 6.75 and she was charged 7.70. Need to get act together.
Very nice place. The employees were very helpful and so sweet!!I would have given 5 stars due to the bathroom was out of paper towels but we loved the reclining seats in the theatre and it made watching Black Panther wonderful!!😊 We would go again to see movies here in the future.
Took my Granddaughter here today to see a movie. Lobby area was clean, restroom needed some attention. There was a very large sign advertising $4 pretzel bites when purchasing large popcorn and drinks (which i bought) The dates were 3/6 - 4/20. I was told they were NOT honoring the price and couldnt control what special they advertised. So I am sure there have been many people asking for the price and sign is still there 3 weeks and counting.
There are closer movie theaters by me, but I always go here for the seats. You can reserve it and theyre comfortable. The downside is that the screen is nothing crazy and feels rather small compared to an IMAX theater. I like having a small amount of people in there anyway so its a tradeoff.
On 6/23/13, my girlfriend and I went to this theatre to see Monsters University. The cashier talked us into buying the popcorn/drink package with the big plastic bucket which you can refill each visit at a lower cost. I agreed and paid $44 for two tickets, one large popcorn, and 2 large sodas.Today, 7/4/13, just less than a week later, we went to go see Despicable Me 2, and while purchasing my tickets and popcorn refill, the cashier told me I couldnt use that bucket, that it was out dated and wasnt being honored anymore.Really??? I just bought it this past Sunday, it isnt a week old, and youre not going to honor it?Her manager was working the register right next to her, and she told him that I had just bought this last Sunday, and he looked me straight in the face and said, Sir, there is no way you could have purchased that here last week. We got rid of those and re-issued new buckets more than a week ago.Dude just called me a liar, and that doesnt sit well with me.I calmly put my card back into my wallet, expressed my sentiments with this is bull@#$% and left the theatre never to return unless this is reconciled. I would boycott the whole Carmike chain of theatres, but that is all thats here in the area. Corporate office is here in Columbus, GA, they will be getting a call tomorrow.
We came for my birthday today Monday 6/27/16Put put golf was fun and we enjoyed the skating rink. But I advise anyone going to keep your belongings attached to you. Especially wallets, purses, and cash.Normally I would not take to reviewing a place based on a random thief. But I have reason to believe that one of the employees in charge of the skating rink stole cash from my girlfriends wallet. We came on a Monday, and we came during a time when one of the skating summer camps were in session. The only people in the rink were myself, my girlfriend, a bunch of kids, and the camp counselors. My girlfriend set her purse down for less than 5 minutes and it was missing, we went up to the counter and the purse was sitting on the counter where someone had turned it in.It was only when we left that we discovered that the wallet with around $100 cash was missing. We called back and the wallet was in the lost and found, empty. As I said we were the only ones in the skating rink besides the children and the camp counselors hired by HC. So it was either one if the employees or one of the children at the camp.Either way, keep your belongings on your person, or use one of the lockers.
Since AMC has taken over from Carmike, my experience has not been very positive. On one occasion in Opelika, they were selling tickets to one of the theatres which had no heat (it was 36 degrees outside and slightly over that inside.) Today, the sound went out for a while in our theatre and.I was forced to complain as apparently no one was monitoring the theatres to be sure everything was working. In the mens restroom, one of the urinals was leaking and there was a huge puddle on the floor. Often there is a skeleton crew of employees so wait times are increasingly getting longer. I hate this as we love the movies and attend regularly; we sure do miss the quality Carmike provided!
I love the AMC awards program other than the old carmine program. The prices are higher but on Tuesdays you get good pricing all day because of the rewards program and every day from 430 to 530 they have lower prices. The $15 fee for the better rewards program pays for itself in just a single visit.
Love skating here, the majority of the staff is super nice. But theres always one... So heres my story. My family and I skated for a couple of hours today and on the way out the door we noticed some skates on clearance stacked against the wall. The prices were alright so the wife and I discussed it a little and were pretty well decided to buy skates for all 6 of us. So we proceed to find our sizes and try them on. I had a pair on and skated on the carpet, maybe 10 - 20 feet worth. This is when one of the managers I suppose came over and says Sorry you cant test ride the skates, sorry. Then walks off. So my family and I start taking the skates off and as Im boxing up the pair I had, he comes back and says, Are yall interested in getting some skates? I said well we were, but you said we cant test ride them. (Remember, I was On carpet, not far, not for even a minute.) So he says, So youre not going to buy any because you cant test ride them? I said, Thats right, how are you supposed to decide whether they are good for you our not? So youve probably just list out on about 600 bucks. He says, 600 bucks hows that? I said, Because I have 6 people who would like a pair of skates. His response is the best part, he says, Well we make plenty of money... to which I said, Well Im glad for you, Because you wont be making anymore of mine... and my family and I walked out the door and left.
Bait and Switch alert. I purchased tickets to the 7:00 pm Tomb Raider in 3D for tonight. Over the last weekend I picked up the printed ticket. Today the show isnt listed on the web site and the person on the tickets phone line said I purchased a ticket to Black Panther, even though both the printed ticket and my email confirmation say Tomb Raider in 3D. the only option offered to me was a refund. This is complete incompetence on AMCs part. I have been a Stubs member for several years and never had anything like this happen. Beware when purchasing advanced tickets from them if they continue to do this terrible practice.
Reclining leather chairs! Reserved seating!Tuesday, I chose this (formerly Carmike, now AMC) theater for an 8pm showing of Atomic Blonde. Movie night cost me nearly $50 as an AMCStubs Premiere member, with a (Stimulus) Tuesday discount, AND a $5 off AMC rewards coupon for 2 Adult tickets, one nachos, one hotdog, and two large cokes. I did it for the reclining leather/faux leather chairs. For the first time in a movie theater, I reserved two of the finest quality and most comfortable seats Ive ever been in.I feel obligated to tell you in my opinion, AMCs Ritz 13 has raised the bar and redefined the standard of a five star movie going experience. Still insanely expensive, but with the ability to reserve those premium reclining leather seats; the surprisingly delicious nachos; clean and comfortable theater; and such much more, I feel better about dropping a months gas money.
Since they have changed from Carmike to AMC a lot of things have changed. But not for good. They no longer have $5 stimulus Tuesdays when there were popcorn and drink specials for $2 and $3. Remember when the movie was a special price between 4 pm and 5:30 pm everyday? That is gone. Went on a Tuesday and you can watch a movie for $5.40, only on Tuesday, as long as you sign up for some program they have for AMC. Then the girl that signed me up did not even explain how the program works. I just happened to find a booklet laying on the table as I was leaving. If you were a Carmike Rewards member and had points on your card.. well those are gone too. Smh..Bring back Carmike....
The skate rink SUCKS !!! I hated it!!!!! they do not allow hats at all!! every skate rink in the rest of the enitre COUNTRY allows hats , get with the program columbus!!!!! this place is for kids mainly, they play lame ass white girl music for kids, never any black jams, they charge you for every little bitty thing imaginable . u cant just pay one admission price and stay all day like every other place in the country, you have to pay for a few hours then pay again for 3 more and then pay again and again an again, their price for a small small cup of tap water is 2.50 cents, for water !! tap water,!!!! cokes are 4 bucks, this place just sucks all the way around compared to the ither 1000s of skate rinks everywhere else in the country. no hats, the service sucks and they have a ton of police officers watching everything everywhere. the staff wont allow to do anything.
I HATED IT and Im speaking on the Skating Center. When I went there were two cops and they both were being complete pricks. I guess the rink has a rule that you cant were hats. I did not know about that and when I arrived with some friends I had a hat on because my hair was not done. So I asked the security guard if I could just sit in the inside of the skating rink entrance {because I couldnt take off my hat} and they wouldnt let me. One security guard told me it was because they dont allow hanging out.NOTICE: I am in my twenties and the children that were at the rink were in their teens and younger [[why would I want to hang out and make trouble with them??]]To make a long story short... I wasnt able to get in and had to go home because of some stupid discriminative rules {toward people of color}

2022-05-11Usually visit this earlier in the day time so that may skew my view, but Ive visit once a month or so since moving. I have seen various movies with my fiance and we enjoy ourselves. The staff is super nice and theaters tend to be clean. Over all good experience and not often overly full.

2022-06-28We go to this theater a lot but this was the first time using the recliner seating. It was awesome. The only downside was having to pick assigned seat when purchasing tickets with a group of 13 and then no one in the theater being in the correct seats, so why assign seats? But other than that another great time with family.

2022-04-10It was definitely a night ending the last day of celebration for my son who turned 5 on 4/7! Happy Birthday sweetheart ❤

2022-05-09Very clean and spacious. Many showings and even with a full parking lot was easy to navigate. The only reason for one star missing is that the staff all seemed distracted with personal conversations and it took us a bit to get our tickets. Even after paying the attendant walked away and had to wait about few minutes to get the tickets that had printed.

2022-04-19We came in an hour earlier thinking it was going to be packed, to our surprise it wasnt. We proceeded to buy popcorn and refreshments, when we sat down to eat popcorn it was stale and soggy, tasted old and the butter made taste even worst. When it was time to go in and see the movie almost 2 hours later, we decided to give another chance to the popcorn, it was the same popcorn, has not been changed.... when we walked into the cinema the smell of mildew was horrible! Gave 1 star since the elderly gentleman taking the tickets was the only one very nice to us.

2022-06-17I am happy to see that this establishment has been modernized, but thats about all I can say about it. When this building was still known as HollyWood connections and was Carmike Cinemas, I worked here. I enjoy coming here because of the reclining seats, however I think the seats may benefit from some dry lubricant to reduce the amount of noise they create. Also fix the problem with the air conditioning; the theater is constantly quite hot.

2019-11-26Ample parking, comfortable seating, plenty of good food. The attendants are nice, the theatre has special showings for independent films such as operas, anime. Also has a bar (open for select movies), reclining seats (select theaters). Conveniently located next door to the arcade.

2022-06-25The theatre is so hot! At least 75-78 degrees. Asked someone about it and he said he would adjust it and of course it never happened

2022-05-13Went to see the new Dr. Strange movie,It was great. Sound was a bit loud at times, but other than that the 3D was believable.
