Excellent place, they will work with you, let you pick out 3 cars, test drive ANY car and Have a low down payment or good payment options that work best for you. Excellent Staff and everything definitely worth 5 stars. Forgot to mention but everybody i seen come in today drove off the lot with a new used car and i was there for about 3.5 hours total
My experience here was phenomenal. Julia is the best car rep ever and I would highly recommend her for your next journey on searching for a car. Shes very patience and she makes sure you are getting something that you want! Definitely would go back to buy a second car!
I just financed my jeep patriot from here i am disappointed about many things. It took a very long time to sale me this jeep over 4hours i sat until the place was closing. They gave me the car dirty no wash nothing but they did put gas. First day i couldnt raise my seat to reach steering wheel brought jeep back neither the sales person or manager knew how to adjust my seat also the sprayers were broken i was instructed to take to pepp boys and so when i was able to the pepp boys said the seat was broken sprayers broken they cant fix it had me out of my car a big portion of the day to do nothing i went back to the dealership to talk to them they put me off on the warranty company who then told me go back to pepp boys and call again let me tell you it takes almost 20 minutes on the phone to get to speak to anyone in that department sometimes longer, finally i go to a different pepp boys who said they can do the work but then they call me to tell me its not covered under the warranty...huh i bought this car in the seat n sprayers are broken my note is $460 a month with broken stuff that they claimed would be fix free of charge because i came the next day after purchasing paperwork. It has been months and i have not heard back from anyone about my seat or sprayers i went in person several times leaving with no results. I am angry i have a jeep that was sold to me broken and nobody cares or fixes it im calling better business bureau and im calling corporate and possibly action news or sue them
This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Lachelle was the best, Didn’t think I would be able to get a car but she made it happen. I am so thankful. Gregory was also great. Everyone was amazing. I will be back and i am sending my brother. Thank you all so much
They are an awesome car dealership and the customer service is still excellent. Purchased second vehicle and Catrina was awesome with everything from beginning to end. Also Sean and Greg always know how to make valued customers feel at home and comfortable. If you need a very nice low mileage vehicle, this is the place for you.
For starters the customer service was GREAT!! Everyone was very respectful and polite. My salesperson Sean was excellent. He stayed in touch with me every step of the way. He was patient with me as well very informative about the cars I had questions about. He made sure my car was the best fit for me and I can not thank him enough. Ms.Trina made my experience with purchasing a car for my daughter a great experience. Not only did she display professionalism she also develops a relationship with you. She didn’t mind sending pictures of the vehicle of our interest. She not once displayed aggravation. To top it off, the part that has me nervous is entering the finance manger office but not surprised Mr.Greg were the coolest laid back manager I have ever seen. My experience at American Car Center of Augusta was amazing. Mrs. Catrina Lanham was so energetic and passionate about her job. She was very helpful with my technical difficulties I was having sending her my check stubs from my work tablet. Not once did I see her get frustrated. I was more frustrated because I got here when they were about to close, so I didn’t want to hold her up. She was very patient and I’d recommend her services to anyone shopping for a new car.
This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Lachelle was the best, even though I was nervous. I thought I wasn’t going to be able to get anything. Lachelle and Gregory worked with me to get my down payment and car payments as low as possible. I greatly appreciate them and I most definitely will be back again in the future!!!

From the moment I walked into the dealership until my purchase, my car Sales Rep Julia was the best. She kept in touch with me daily to see if I was alright with my deposit and deciding to purchase. The day I purchased my vehicle was relaxing and they let me test drive a few vehicles until I found what I liked and could afford. Julia was very helpful throughout the whole process and the Finance Manager Gregory went over every piece of financial paper to make sure I understood what I was signing. They werent pushing me to make the deposit first before test driving any vehicle or signing my loan payments. Gregory wouldnt take any deposit until all paperwork was reviewed and I was comfortable with my car buying decision. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to buy an up to date vehicle with less than perfect credit.

Just purchased a vehicle from them today! My sales rep Sean was super awesome!! I didn’t see anything on the lot that interest me so he drove to Columbia and got what I wanted!! He was very knowledgeable, took his time with me, was efficient, and kept his word every step of the way! The sales manager who finished the process, Gregory is really great as well! He took his time to explain and answer all the questions I had with confidence! They had a full house with people waiting to see to him and he didn’t feel pressured by having to rush the sale to get to everyone! Y’all go check them out you won’t be disappointed! I know I wasn’t! I bought a car from them and I love it. They went above and beyond to put me in a car. The only thing I can say, is that they don’t tell you that the down payment amount and your monthly rate can vary if they don’t have anything on the lot that fits you. But other than that, they are good. I have a 2 year warranty with 4 oil changes for 3 years. Would definitely recommend.UPDATE: this finance company is very strict. They don’t allow you to make payment arrangements really and if you do, there’s an extra $30 to your payment just by postponing it for a week. If you are a day late making a payment, they harass your phone every day. The dealership is great but I would have rather gone with a finance company that isn’t so demanding.
Greg is the best when it comes to customer service, and getting you approved, but the finance company is terrible. They dont work with you, no grace period, they took my payments off auto draft and said cant put it back on for six months, the people in the finance office have terrible attitudes. If you get approved go through your bank for financing, because its just not worth it, they want to pick up your car if its a day late.. just saying.. I will come back to this location for a car, but not for financing.
Everyone inn this dealership is nice and beer profession. They listen to your needs and whatever they must do to accommodate you and your family they will. A big kudos to Shawn , Julia, and Gregory for all your help, time, and energy to make sure me and my family let your dealership riding.
Mr. Grey is awesome. First thing he did was broke everything down to us about what American Car Center does and the different categories you can fall under based off your credit. Any credit is accepted . We test drove any car we wanted and every car we drove was in execellent shape . I got a 2015 Volkswagen Passat , it’s good on gas had very low miles. Practically brand new! The warranty they offer is excellent. The process was simple and like most car places they didn’t give you the run around . Very affordable! I recommend any and everybody to visit American car center first before anywhere else, you won’t be disappointed!!

Dont go here they lie about Warranty and everything. Since I got this car its been nothing but a nightmare. Everything the sales person told me about car and what they cover are lies just to make a sell. This was a big mistake I have ever made and learned from this one.
Got my car just about a week ago. In less then 24 hours after purchasing a Black- 2016 Ford Fusion at 39,000 and some odd miles, the car started isling up. I go back to the Augusta location to let the manager know what was going on with the car and I was told to call the warranty department.After numerous of tries, trying to get ahold of the warranty department I finally get ahold of someone and was told to take the car to Butler Automotive to schedule an appointment so I can take the vehicle in to get looked at.I do so make an appoint for Tuesday the 14th at 10:3am. Butler Automotive place the computer diagnostics on my car and after about 30 minutes the mechanic came back in and stated that the car has a very bad electrical problem and looks like it’s been under water 🤦🏽♀️Doug told me to take the car to Gerald Jones Ford Right up the street from Butler Automotive. I asked Doug. “If someone else could drive the car there because since they’ve put the car on the computer all the maintenance light came on and now power steering isn’t working because it can’t communicate. Doug’s reply to me was “well that’s not my issue you’ll have to take that up with maintenance”I still had to drive the car to Gerald Jones Ford. And once Gerald Jones Ford placed there dynastic computer on the vehicle, they stated that it was in terrible condition and it’s was going to be pretty expensive to get fixedSo at this point. The car is to expensive to get fixed and now they’ll have to do a collateral swap. Well that sounds easy right...“Doug” in warranty stated that he would get that information over to financial so that they can get started on the process of doing the collateral swap. I waited and waited and waited and decided to call to check on things and financial tells me that no one put in any notes on my account and I would have to call Doug back to see what was going on.So I called Doug back and it took me about 45 minutes to get in touch with him, when I finally did he told me that he would be putting the notes in my account and get everything going for the swap. I waited I waited I waited. I call back about 5:00 and financial told me that Doug had just brought over my file at 4:45 and they didn’t know what was going on and all Doug told them was “This customer needs to do a Collateral swap”All this time I’ve been sitting in side American Car Center speaking to the Store Manager GREG and then I’m told I would have to come back tomorrow.Well tomorrow is here and it is currently 6:04pm and I am sitting in the store and have been here since 11amDedra from financial called me this mornin and stated that she is finishing up on my Collateral swap and I should be good to go within an hour or so.She called me back about an hour and a half later stated that everything was completed and good to go.Greg here at the Augusta location sent Brittany to do a car swap with another location because the car that I wanted was located in Columbia at one of the other storesBrittany goes to meet the person to swap cars and the check engine light comes on on the vehicle that she is driving so now I’m being told I would have to wait until tomorrow “ONCE AGAIN” because it has gotten to late in the day.They do things on there own time. I waited patiently yesterday day and still drove the car with the Power steering being out. I had to pick up my 4 children in this vehicle which is dangerous to be driving. But they don’t care..... I’m being told I have to drive this car home again today.I DO NOT RECOMMEND NO ONE TO SHOP WITH AMERICAN CAR CENTER AT THE AUGUSTA GA LOCATION.ALL OF THEIR CARS ARE OVER PRICED AND HAVE MECHANICAL ISSUES.

Went to this dealership, my sales rep, Julia, treated me with respect, went above & beyond & over the call of duty, in getting me into a new model vehicle, that was fully loaded as well as affordable, e an with my credit issues & impending bankruptcy! Highly recommend them!
Highly unprofessional people, they told me I was approved and got my wife a brand new hyundai. Then I get a call saying i wasnt approved and they take the car back. Then they take about a month for my refund that I put $750 down and I got $500 back . They technically get you in a car right away then take it back and keep some of the refund. ITS NEVER THAT EASY TO GET A CAR
Gregory Bellamy at the Augusta location is stealing money and if you refer someone you won’t ever get the referral money because he puts someone else’s name down on your referral paper and blames the corporate office for not sending you a referral check.I will be contacting corporate office in the morningDON’T GO TO THE AUGUSTA LOCATION UNTIL HE IS NO LONGER WORKING THERE
