For real. You call this 10 wings. Wing can’t even get bigger then a ranch cup.

Totally disappointed, wings were ridiculously small for no reason. I had 10 piece with fries, fries were just ok. I started eating and just got mad because of how small wings were. Will not be back. This is 1st and only time Ive experienced wings that small, definitely not work the money
I have gone here since they opened. It all depends on which cook makes your philly steak sandwich. Lately I have had the same cook that doesnt know how to cook the veggies past half way and have been coming out crunchy. So I asked for them well done and I overheard the cook say to the order taker he always asks for it well done like I was asking for something out of the ordinary. He should have just made it right and not mention it to anyone and that was enough to walk out and never come back. How about cooks that know how to cook please and it should be cooked all the way for a $15 sandwich combo.
Placed order through DoorDash. Both drinks were wrong. Fried rice was gross and chicken wings were wrong!Even after I called to confirm the order that was placed online. Philly was decent but I have had way better. Fries were not seasoned and no salt added or even in the bag along with no utensils. Very plain tasting food. First time trying. I won’t be a returning customer. Save your money.
Food is good and fresh but they need to learn how to answer their phone. not everybody wants to go in and make an order and have to wait. and yeah you can do online orders but it doesn’t let us put half and half on the app..
I was so irritated with this establishment I walked out after ordering and paying for my food. There’s a little boy working the register who to me is to young to work there. I watched as he constantly horseplayed with cooks use the register touch food. Cooks were dancing there was a guy in a red shirt who appeared to be on break eating a burger but running in and out of the kitchen helping with food prep. Unsanitary unprofessional and chaos no real direction mixing up orders I could tell by how things were going my food probably would be awful I left and went to bojangles clearly no one runs this store and there’s no leadership at all
Hope this dont come out the wrong way but I never had a white cook at American deli before , the food taste was bland but it was cooked properly. Overall service was good but prices were higher than Im used to from most American delis. Lower rating because of the bland taste of food and higher prices but service was ok tho
Every American Deli is only the same in name. I have frequented different establishments to attest to that. The of quality of the gyros was good, my wings were cold and the quantity the fries in the combo I could count as well as being cold. My first, last and only visit.
This establishment is very rude the wings look deformed and very small and dry this has happened to me twice I ask manager to cook them over and he refused. The correct thing to do was to cook them over to have a satisfied customer that comes once a week. Now they have lost a faithful customer! Do yourself a favor and skip this American Deli. I’m going to the Suwannee location from now on.
Very, very good. The wings are huge, flavourful and hot. Sweet Chili, Lemon Pepper Wet. Fries are seasoned 2 perfection and CRUNCHY🍗🍟
Good food. Rude cook. The cashier was professional and nice. They make the cashier ask first before she can hand you ketchup packets to go. Then when I looked at the manager he asked me Como estas? Im white and I thought that was disrespectful because I know I dont look like I speak Spanish. It was near closing time and he might have been tired and I was in a good mood and polite, so I just said Im fine and left. But, I really bothered me. I should have asked for a refund and left. No need for that when I didnt even say anything and just looked at him. I have aspergergrs and I dont usually make eye contact so I might have looked more concerned then I was. I really didnt even think of it until he squared up on me and said that. I really felt disrespect ed for no reason. But I couldnt be sure how he meant it. It was really like somewhere between wanna fight me and whats your problem? I wouldnt have thought about the ketchup packets issue unless he did that but I spent the whole way home thinking about why I might have looked at him in a way that illicit that response. Thats the only thing I can think of. I just looked at him without even knowing at the time that something got my attention that way. . The other thing they do is they open the to go box and let you inspect your food. Thats the only place Ive ever seen do that. I said it looks good. Which may have been a mistake. I should have just said yep thats mine.
Doesn’t matter what time of day you come the wait time will be 30 mins or more and the people who order after you will get there’s first. All I ever get is wings and people that come in after me get wings and they’ll get there’s before me. Staff is unfriendly and and doesn’t have any urgency to get orders out. The men’s bathroom doesn’t have a lock on it and someone walked in on me. I come here on occasion hoping it will get better and change but It hasn’t so I will not be coming back for a while if ever.
The Philly cheese steak was really good. The wings however were a joke! Most of them were no bigger than my pinkie. The 2 that were bigger were the size of my thumb. The chickens the wings came from must have been juveniles.
The guy working the front has no personality and is very short and rude with customers. He’s also not to friendly to his other co workers. Other than that the food is good. I try and not be one of those typical Karen’s type people and write a bad review. I just feel like he needs some female attention. If ya know what I mean.... This review is not for the manager of this joint. It’s for all the ladies. Ladies y’all come up here and help my mans out if you single. Im sure he’s cool deep down just needs a lil TLC.
If I could give a lower score I would. Asked for no cheese but apparently they are too stupid to follow directions. Awful salad. Super greasy. Do not get food from here
The food was good, but the employees need to do better at answering calls. I would prefer to arrive when my food is almost ready, rather than sit inside and wait.
Why are you guys now charging 3.00 for all flats on a 10 piece? And you cant order wings/fried rice as a combo anymore, so youre basically paying for another ORDER. Its ridiculous. I used to come here faithfully bc the wings are good but theres other wing spots that hit more for WAY less.
In a world where everything we do is under a microscope I would hope and expect for food establishment to take the health of their staff and guest seriously. A kitchen where prep is going on is no place for children to be playing with cars, on cell phones next to workers with no hairnets, no gloves, no masks, etc. And then to actually be helping. The manager should know not to touch his cellphone, then his mask, then clean a counter and not wash his hands. He should also not be removing his mask while he is on the clock.Its actually a plethora of bad standards I observed in this location. I would personally not return to a place where its seems as if anything goes.
Ive tried them a couple different times over the last two months. The wings are always under cooked since the new owner/management has taken over...even if you ask for crispy the wings are under cooked. The sauce also does not taste the same. Not very pleasant at all.
My experience here was incredible! I was greeted by two friendly employees immediately upon entering!! I think one of their names was Julian but I couldn’t get the tall red haired guys name. I will be returning and next time I’m bringing my family!!! Ps. The little Cuban guy with the beard gave me extra fries and I love him.
March 23rd, at 1:00 pm....I called several times someone picks up the phone and hang up. I finally get thru later make a order for pick up. I get there they are not busy. Hispanic chick at register leaning and playing on her phone. I get my order go to my car, and call number back Im watching her not answering the call. I used to always come here, but this will be my last time. If they act like that towards customers, who knows what they do to our food. I liked when the manager of the lace worked there. He made sure his workers were on the game. This location has gone down.
The food was straight but the little girl that works behind the counter could use an attitude adjustment. She wasnt very friendly & she had the nerve to get upset with me for pointing out a mistake that SHE made with my order.!? The food was good but her attitude STINKS!
Ive never been one to give bad reviews but tonight I just had to. I ordered veggie fried rice along with other orders for my family, and when i got home and opened up my plate of food I was very disappointed. Ive never seen fried rice like this from you guys. It barely had veggies,maybe a few pieces of broccoli(very few) and barely carrots and corn. I dont know what this was. May as well have been plain fried rice...and it was mushy which is a first. We order from here all the time.... Whoever was cooking tonight please dont shortcut a loyal customer. It was very appalling to see. I wish i took pics..
The staff was nice and I didnt have to wait longer than expected for my take out order. However this particular American Delis food was simply not as good as what Ive had from other locations. Same order: hamburger and fries. The fries were undercooked. The burger was acceptable. For the price paid, acceptable isnt, well, acceptable. Hopefully this was an aberration as otherwise it was a pleasant visit.
I called and nobody answered the phone and when I got there they were cooking for someone on the grill and told me the grill was closed and that I could only order wings. Then three other people walked in after me and were served
I like their food but repeatedly I try and call inmy orders and they just dont pick up. 3 people working and they refuse to answer the phone. Not even a pick up and ask me to wait. They just ignore the phone altogether. Which if course means I have to order when I get there (not that busy) and wait when the whole point of callimg ahead is to avoid standing in a confined space with other people not all wearing masks
Great food but... I tried to order food for carryout and got hung up on before the phone was picked up multiple times. Also had the phone picked up and pulled off of hook to avoid taking order. All I heard was background noise, no hold please. You guys should get a call waiting or hold service.
I always call ahead and pick up my food. Its always ready by the time I get there (10 minutes) I usually just get the philly cheese steak and it taste delicious!
Last visit had gyro and fries. Everythings always hot and fresh. Unique skinny crinkle fries. Everything Ive tried is good. Service is fairly quick even though its made while you wait.

This place is awesome! I love the teriyaki wings, but the cheesesteaks are always great too! The people who work here are really great and very helpful. I like everything about American Deli Buford.
I go here once in a while for lunch. I always get the wings combo. Ive never ran into any issues with the food nor the service. Its well kept and clean.
There was hair on my chicken. I noticed nobody that works there wears a hair net. They never wanna give the sauces I actually want. For an example, if I say I want barbecue sauce for both my sauces they either give me both blue cheese or a ranch. I even tell them at the end “Are you sure you put the blank sauces in there?” and they say “yes” yet it is still wrong. Now when they show food I had to move the paper but the dude did it n only move the paper for the sauces he got right and I don’t know if it was because he did not want to give me sauce or what...I would pay for it I had no problem with that. Yet they always get my order wrong too cause I have to buy for my family too.
Food is fantastic. Just check your food before you leave if you are ordering your food to go

That rude caucasian man/boy with the thin rusty gold chain messed up my order on purpose because he saw I was mad that he decided to go all out of his way and give some customers that were leaving extra food they didnt pay for while I sat there a good 6 minutes waiting for him to at least say just a minute miss. I told him all flats when I finally ordered and he charged me and when it came time for me to leave he didnt open the boxes like he did the man before me because he knew he didnt give me what I asked for.

The food is low in quality compared to other locations and the way they charge their combos are absurd. The combination orders are not according to the menu, instead you are charged per item.

The girl in the afternoon shift put me on hold to talk about snapchat selfies (at least mute the phone!) and its not the first time. Every time I try to place an order on the phone its the same issueEDIT: we gave them another chance and I waited 5 min for so much as a greeting. The counter person looked me in my face and walked to the back to eat. At least tell me to give you a few mins 😶

The customer service is trash!! I ordered wet lemon pepper mild they forgot the lemon pepper, which I know I was charged for. Let the cashier know they didnt put it on he said,we have lemon pepper on the counter!! I paid for something that I took care of myself!!

Don’t eat their lemon pepper wings extremely salty. Seems like they drenched in salt. Very nasty, my second time trying the lemon pepper wings and about died...Can you say”Hypertensive emergency” come on...
The food is amazing the service is great and the wait for the food is not long at all! Actually i would say the wait is about 3-5 minutes.10/10 would recomend it😁

2022-07-11Very disappointing.Ordered two 20 piece wing combos, one with fries one with shrimp fried rice. I was charged over $60. Drove 30 minutes from Winder to pick up then drove all the way home only to discover the order was missing 10 wings and the rice/ fries portions were tiny.Definitely not worth the cost. Waiting to see if I get a refund on the missing food

2022-04-21This place has great food but the pricing is so expensive. I got 5 piece wings with rice and a soda. This was almost $20. That’s ridiculous! I asked for extra blue cheese and he charged me .75 cents without saying it’s an extra charge. Like do you people think money is flowing like this? Come up with a menu that can accommodate everyone. I’m not saying give it for free but I can go to The Cheesecake Factory with these prices. I wanted 4 shrimp and veggie rice. You would think that could be like $12.99. No that would cost over $20. Great food but you can keep it. You like to rob people and your staff used to be so much better. The person that helped me whispered so you couldn’t hear him. He was more concerned about his phone than people walking in and the manager was just as bad. I don’t know what happened to this location. Good luck!

2022-06-10This was my second visit. Burger had no flavor at all. I took a bite of just the meat and it tasted like soybean or some kind of filler instead of beef. My first visit was the same way. I gave them a second chance. I will not eat there again.

2022-01-25Love love love this American Deli location. Food always flavorful, fresh. Staff friendly and accomodating. We go almost weekly as a family for dine in and absolutely love that they remember us and let us decide what to watch on TV. Our favorite flavors are lemon pepper dry run, sweet chili, honey hot and mild/ lemon pepper sprinkles. Restaurant is always clean and smells fresh!

2021-12-04Called to speak with a manager and was told no manager was there to speak with. Left info and Ive had no call back. Food was burned to the point it was not edible. Special requests not fulfilled such as burger only ketchup. Had everything except ketchup. 60 dollars for food that couldnt be eaten.

2022-03-06This place is fantastic. Always clean, Always answer the phone for me. They only problem is that most of the cooks are lazy. I come here constantly and this teen that says he is 15 years old is always the leader of the kitchen. I remember I ordered the day before for the superbowl and the kitchen was slow when i came to pick up my wings next day. All of a sudden the kid starts to tell the kitchen to move faster. I see true leadership from him and it surprised me because such a young age and the way he motivated everyone to cook and work faster. I would know what true leadership is to because I used to be a soccer coach.

I go in there and place an order for wings and fried rice and this little kid who looks like he doesnt even know how to spell his own name yet tries to charge me $20 for a plate that normally costs $12 with tax included..Then he says, because I am not getting French Fries, I have to pay more money..So I proceed to ask to speak to the manager, he then answers, THERES NO MANAGER HERE !WHO IN THE WORLD IS RUNNING THE STORE ?? I walked out and wentnext door to the Cuban Restaurant and got better service and better quality food !!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, DONT GO TO THIS PLACE !!!!
