Cale was THE BEST.. He was so personable and patient! He answered every question that we had and even answered my 9 year olds questions too! He allowed us to sit and determine the level of comfort of multiple couches and even took the time to ensure every part of my new bedroom set was available! I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO EVERYONE! We spent about $3,000.00 here on bedroom and living room furniture, as well as a kitchen table, chairs, and coffee tables, when we moved into a townhome about 4 years ago. The bedroom furniture, kitchen set, and dining room tables have turned out to be great. The couch had a problem after we owned it for a year, with one of the steel supports coming out of its metal collar. Weve bought furniture before and never saw it break down so quickly (in fact, I have purchased USED furniture in the past which lasted longer than this couch.) We asked for replacement and was offered a half-price couch WHEN IT IS IN STOCK. We thought this was a fair offer, but Ive been checking their (Savannah) website for the past 2 years and it hasnt been available. I had called the corporate office and was told, Dont worry, well take care of you and received similar assurances from the store manager. We were never compensated. Were planning on buying a house within the next 2-3 months and this couch will be donated to a thrift store. Guess where we WONT be shopping for a replacement or other furniture well need?
The staff is positively awesome. Michael our salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful. He went above and beyond to answer or questions concerning the two sets of queen mattresses and box springs we purchased. He assured me that Dr. Marvins that I purchased would be perfect for me and they were. We are so happy we purchased the sets from you. The guys who delivered the sets were very polite and helpful as well. When they arrived they were very courteous and respectful.
Friendly staff! Love that they don’t hover over you like other stores do while you shop. Came and bought new mattresses twice in one week. Lee was kind and easy to work with on Wednesday, then Michael helped us on Saturday and hooked us up with a promotion for a free protector. Would definitely recommend this store and without a doubt will be back! Thanks, guys!
Great place to pick up affordable furniture pieces. We got a mattress, dresser, and mirror for a new apartment. They had a good selection, affordable pricing, and assistance loading it into our vehicle. They also offered same day delivery to the 2nd floor for $85 for all pieces, which we regretted not doing after deciding to do it ourselves.
Got an awesome deal on a huge sectional, upright freezer, and an accent chair for the Master BR. If you are looking for furniture and/or appliances on a budget, you arent looking to finance, and have the cash, thrlen this is where you want to go. You can load it into your vehicle at the store, or they will deliver to your home within a 30 mile radius. They can order most pieces not in stock on the floor, and they are constantly changing their inventory. It is definitely worth making a stop at before any of the traditional furniture stores.
I purchased 2 queen size bedroom sets dressers, mirror, and nightstand mid March. I was advised at purchase the mirror to one set was on back order and I could check back in a few week, so I did and was told then I could have gotten another black mirror that they did have available. When I asked why wasnt that an option at the time of purchase the gentleman said he wasnt sure why my salesman didnt offer that to me-I decided to ride down that Saturday because I live 75 minutes away and plus I was off that weekend. I did inform the gentleman of this and he said he couldnt old it for me but still come down. Saturday I went and got there and they told me they didnt have any mirrors and that they would again call me. Its mid May I called spoke with Ramone and he wasnt apologetic he simply said okay we can offer you the floor model or refund you or you can continue to wait. He said they will not discount the floor model. I really did not appreciate his tone nor his response. I explained I know about items on back order but you Ramone lack customer service and that is so rude. His response was what cam I do. So unappreciated. Not cool. Wont spend another dollar here.
Well I must say I was waiting on my furniture to be delivered only to find out that the driver inverted two of the numbers in my phone number, therefore I never received a call or text when it was coming. So I went to AFF and spoke with Lee and another supervisor there and I picked up my own furniture and delivered it myself. Lee was very helpful and so was the other gentleman. The two warehouse guys helped me load a 3 pc sectional in and onto my SUV and my wife and I took it from there to home. I am pleased with the furniture and I thank the staff for making it right by giving me 100.00 back because of the mishap.i will always recommend AFF to anyone.
Pay for furniture well in advance over $2,300. But they never updated us on when our furniture was in or the status. We had to call weekly for updates. they would tell us like oh yeah its on backorder or its on the truck or it was but it was sent back. Dont trust them. if I cwould give them zero Stars I would.
I just left American Freight and purchased a 3pc table set and rug for my mom. Sid waiting on me and was very professional and gave us great service from beginning to end. I have purchased furniture in the past with them and was given great service as well. Thank you Sid! You made a satisfied customer! The gentleman who loaded my car was friendly too. I just moved back into town and needed all new furniture. Looked around at a bunch of different stores but ended up going with American freight because they were able to deliver everything the same day. My salesman Chris was a pleasure to work with. I recommend asking for him if you go to buy furniture from here because he was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products which made this whole process a breeze.
Highly disappointed DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! I’ve shopped with American freight before and I loved them but I am not sure what happened. Paid off my big layaway in cash and was assured it would be delivered the same day. Not only was it not delivered but I didn’t even receive a courtesy call that it wasn’t going to be delivered!! My coworker had a very similar issue and I still shopped with them. Very Inconsiderate.

So I walked in with three miserable kids and gave him an idea of what I wanted and he did absolutely everything he could and I now have everything being delivered within the next hour. I mean customer service from him and his drivers 10/10. So everything super professional and super fast. I couldnt be happier. Thank you Lee!!
Cancelled a delivery and they never sent the void paper to the finance company, so my credit was taking a hit. Called the store twice and nothing got resolved, even after speaking with the GM. it took the finance company calling in order to attempt to get the situation resolved and when the finance company called the GM wasn’t available so I’m still waiting while being expected to make a payment for a couch that I don’t have.
I’m new to the area and it’s hard finding a furniture store with good prices. This is my second time buying from American Freight in Savannah and this is also my second time not being disappointed. Great location, a lot of variety to choose from, and very good quality. Thanks to the great customer service from Josh, I will continue buying from American Freight in Savannah!
Came in to purchase a couch after seeing the great reviews and I was not disappointed! The manger was extremely helpful and was very understanding of my budget.They also provide finance options and delivery too. I love my sectional couch from here and its amazing quality. I actually never thought of shopping at American Freight. My last visit was back in the early 90’s. However my sales person Lee was professional from the time I walked through the door after so many years of shopping with American Freight .He helped me through the process and selection from beginning to end. Had to give a big shout out to Lee and I will ne back again for future purchases.
I really like my furniture that I picked from here but the bed i chose along with the color was made clear that they had it in stock, then when it was delivered after we paid $75+$10( because we had one flight of stairs) the men dropped it off and told me I had to put the bed together myself which on a side note was not explained at the time of check or any duration that we spent there was made clear and when I pulled it out of the box, wrong color! They definitely should be more clear with the process and to make sure that the customer expectations are met and the additional information about you building your furniture would help make decisions a little easier to decide on because paying the deliver guys to just drop off is not $85 worth!
I needed some new furniture because I just moved and was extremely stressed about it. I went here looking for deals and boy did I find it. Chris and Josh took care of me and left me speechless. They went above and beyond my expectations. Mr Chris LaPlume got me everything I wanted and more... all under budget! Highly recommend
Went there to look for new furniture. Was probably looking around for over15 minutes and realized that I was not going to be help. So I found an employee and probably one of the worst customer experience of my life. But what was to come was ev we n worst. I soon discovered her was the asst Mgr. Will not recommend this place to anyone simply because of that first impression
I was waiting since July for a sectional from Ashley Furniture store and they kept pushing it back for delivery. I finally canceled. I forgot all about this place and decided to give them a try. I came today looking for a sectional and found one and had it delivered the same day. Talk Lee there he was awesome!
When I walked in today I was greeted and asked if I was looking for anything particular. I told them No and that I was just looking. They let us walk around and find what we were looking for. I saw this one piece and it kept calling me and I had to get it because it was just that pretty. I was very happy that I didnt feel pushed into buying anything.
I wouldn’t recommend their furniture to anyone. We bought a King size bed and frame from them. Ever since the first day we had it, it sleeps like a old used mattress. Very very uncomfortable, very disappointed!!! We were told they take old mattresses and recover them. That’s EXACTLY how this one sleeps! When it’s finally paid off we are dumping it in their driveway. Same price we ended up paying for this cheap junk we could’ve went to Rooms to Go and got great quality furniture for same price!!!! Stir clear of here!
I had a wonderful experience here today at American Freight In Savannah Georgia , Lee is so professional and he makes you feel comfortable being a first time furniture buyer . He gives you time to pick out as much stuff as you would like and he does not mind answering alot of questions without getting aggravated. I sincerely can not say enough wonderful things about this place. After an absolute nightmare with Ashley furniture, I was left couchless. I walked into American Freight and within 3 minutes found the PERFECT (and higher quality than the one we had previously gotten from Ashley for the same price) couch, got it for a fabulous price since it was the floor model, AND got same day delivery. Cory was the best, totally helpful, genuine, and friendly without being smarmy like a lot of salespeople you find at furniture stores. The delivery company was just as pleasant and efficient. I will 100% be doing all of my furniture shopping here from now on, good selection, even better prices and great people.
Customer service was fantastic! My husband and I went in to get a few pieces of furniture for our friends as a housewarming gift since they had just previously moved. The manager Trevor came over and helped us choose the best pieces for them. He asked for details of the house and their current furniture so that what we purchased not only fit our budget but also would fit in perfectly with the rest of their house! Would definitely recommend over any furniture store.
They sold me a new dresser that was chipped and promised me that they would give me another one and it was on its way . After months of getting the run around still nothing . I go up there and was promised by a manger a check for $200 for customer satisfaction and for the damages. I was told that was on its way and never came. And no manager has a idea what’s going on. I know they don’t care but i won’t be going back !
The best furniture store in all of Savannah! Upon entering, the STORE MANAGER immediately came up to us and greeted us. I was super impressed! He was so nice and professional and immediately made my and my familys day. He helped us pick out the perfect sets for a dining room, living room, and a bedroom. The mattress we got is super comfy. The couch is so nice and roomy and fits my whole family! I cant wait to go back and buy more furniture from this store. I will return, definitely.
We bought a entire bedroom suit with extra night stand they told us 2600 and something and no interest for a year. Well what they dont tell you is there is a cost of lease fee. So what was suppose to be 2600 turned into over 6000. I paid it off today for 3500 and after adding up the payments already made which was 3700 dollars I am not impressed! 7200 for a bedroom suit that one had 2 broken drawers on bed, mattress had been wet they replaced drawers but was suppose to take off for mattress which was not done! I will NEVER buy anything from here again and will spread the word to not waste their time! This place is ridiculous and a rip off!!
I am pretty picky about the specifics I want in furniture, and Joshua took the time to listen and find choices that fit all of my criteria. He gave me my options, was patient while we were deciding and was so knowledgeable to not only answer the questions we had, but also to give additional information I didn’t even know I needed, but it was helpful! Great Value but Bad Customer Service we bought a bed set we where in the store all of about 15 minutes from looking to purchase when we arrived there was like 10 workers some on phones and doing other things the guy told us give about 5 minutes before they other truck moves from within the pick up area 2 minutes later we moved into pick up area we sat and waited for 15 minutes I look back and there was nobody in the pick up area thinking maybe they went to pick my bed set sat and waited another 15 minutes and nobody comes out to ask do we need any help or to see what was going on so I go inside and there are 4 on phones handling customer calls I look around thinking to myself where is my bed set after the guy finished his phone call he asked what can I help you with I said uumm yes I am waiting in the bay area to pick up my bed set I just bought I hand him my receipt he looks yelling out for they Guys 4 times he yelled and finally they come running he tells them we have a pick up so we wait another 10 minutes before they bring my bed set to the bay then one of them acted as if we had disturbed him and just throws the mattress so hard the truck shook I thought nothing of it until I had another item I had purchased the mattress cover went back inside to ask for that now they are eating lunch so I thought oh now I know why he threw my mattress so hard they where eating lunch and I guess now hes mad he was Disturbed well its not my Fault I was a forgotten Customer in the Future I Hope they will make sure All Customers are Attened to Before Eating Lunch or Taking a Break!
What a great experience. My entire Family just moved to Savannah from Jefferson IN, It Has been a long week to say the least. We are starting over with all new Furniture. We saw American Freight on craigslist. The moving expenses were through the roof so I was trying to keep it cost efficient. I went in and selected two houses full in less than the time it took my wife to pick what we were going to eat for dinner. We needed furniture soon but fully expected to wait a few days/ week to get everything delivered. My Salesman told me we could get everything that night. Unbelievable that night I had everything in me and my parents house ready to go. Logan and Steve were great help!! 5 Stars!!! So Happy thank you SO MUCH!!
PART 1If I could have done less than 1 star I would have. My experience with them has been horrible. To start, my sectional was out of stock and they didnt tell me until the day of delivery. Before the model arrived Shannon called me to let me know that the one that I wanted was ruined and that they could send me one but it would be about 2 months later. The other option was to get the sectional in a different color. I had already bought pillows and curtains to go with the color I had chose. She then said that she would send the ruined one and that if I got it and wanted to keep it they would take $300 off but if I didnt want it I could just use this one until they get a new one in stock to replace it. I was fine with this and let them deliver the sectional. When the sectional arrived I saw the damage in the back and it was not that bad but still not worth full price, so I called back and said that I would keep it and get the $300 taken off. 1 week later I called the financing company to see if the $300 had been taken off and it was not. I then called American Fright and the guy that I spoke to said he was wondering why I was getting $300 off and then mentioned oh you have the floor model. I was not aware that I had the floor model, I was only told that the sectional was damaged a little. I then told him that I would just come up there because I wanted to see for myself if the floor model was gone.The next day I went there and the floor model was gone. YES they gave me the floor model that had been on the floor for months. I asked to speak to a manager who seemed to have an attitude and wouldnt even help me. Another gentleman helped me and apologized for the inconvenience. He informed me that a new sectional would be delivered the first week of July and I would not have to pay for the delivery fee. The professionalism of this place is horrible. I should have never been given a floor model, I should have never gotten the run around, and I should not be paying full price for something with this many problems. I have $90 coming out of my account every 2 weeks for a floor model sectional that multiple people have sat on. They are unorganized and Shannon and the store manager should be fired. They are not fit for their positions. I dont know how the store manager got his job. I will be sure to never purchase anything from here and I will leave a review everywhere I can. I will also be sure to tell EVERYONE I know never to purchase anything from American Freight.
Went in on Friday 3/1 to purchase living room suite. Was helped immediately and throughout the entire process and ended up adding on an ottoman(was told it would be an additional 2 weeks until.it came in and would get a call once it arrived as well as free shipping)full size mattress and box spring with full protection warranty. Was told that delivery would include them putting my legs on the couches as well as the protective coverage for bed. Around 8 almost 9 they finally arrived. I asked delivery driver about putting the legs on my chair in which he proceeds to have his hand out for the $100 delivery fee. Noticed that I was also missing my mattress cover. I Literally called once in the morning as soon as they opened and once during the even for the next 3 days to get this solved in which I spoke to plenty of people even a delivery manager who asked the same questions I already answered to find out who delivered in which I was told each time my order would be priority and it would be out the next day. Finally another manager came out on the 4th day to FINALLY put my legs on the couch and bring my mattress cover. Now 2 weeks later I call on 3/15 to ask about my ottoman in which I was told it was not in but would be in Monday and I would receive a call to let me know it was in and another call to confirm delivery. I called Monday morning to confirm that I was getting my delivery that day in which they proceed to tell me yes my items were on a truck. We are now on Wednesday 3/20 and Im told my ottoman never came in and that Im looking at an additional 2-3weeks. I inform the worker that I was told 2 weeks from 3/1 in which he says oh ok well just go by that date.HEY IDIOT that date has passed. So upset with this company and would NEVER recommend them to my worst enemy. Everyone is nice to get you off the phone. They claim its there busy season since its tax season...WE HAVE TAX SEASON EVERY YEAR. Nothings change, maybe they need to add some new drivers to help with this mess. If I could give them 0 stars I would but unfortunately I cant. Piss Poor service.
Horrible experience! Purchased a 5 piece king bedroom set with an extra nightstand and a sectional couch from them on November 6th and we’re never purchasing anything from them again. We received our bedroom set and the delivery forgot to bring the extra nightstand, the bed frame was missing hardware, and the tall dresser was already broken. After days and days of waiting for them to bring the nightstand, we received the wrong one. After another few days of waiting for them to bring the new one, the one they bring us is absolutely shredding on the back. Fast forward to receiving our couch and the delivery break our security system hub off the wall bringing it in and take the broken furniture without giving us our replacements. After a few more weeks of waiting for the pieces to come in, today December 18th, we call to check in on the status of the furniture we’re missing and we’re put on hold 45 minutes. We got in our car and drove to the location before our call was attended. At a complete loss on what to do next except wait as we keep being told it’ll be “a couple weeks” before they get the furniture in stock. Never want to deal with this type of business again.
I went to American Freight yesterday evening and was greeted by the most beautiful smile from a wonderful yound lady bybthe name of Shannon. She was amazing. Her customer service is amazing. She is so down to earth and she has a patient and helpful spirit. I would go and specifically ask for her next time I need furniture.
I was a bit disappointed when walking into the store to see it look empty. When leaving I ask the guy working why on line makes it seem like a they have a lot of items in. Guess what it was in the back. The guys in the back pulled out the sofa I was looking at put it all together. Great service guys in the back...
This review is broken up into to three parts. One for the store, one for the furniture and one for the delivery company.I give the store a 5/5. Cory was very helpful in helping us find furniture that would work for us. When we needed some items switched out, they made sure we got the items we needed. The employees at the the store were great.I give the furniture 3/5. We were able to get a lot of furniture for a small price. You know the furniture is not going to be top of the line, but that is what we expected. There were no surprises here. When the furniture was delivered, the corner of the dresser (which was still in its box) was smashed in, there was a hole in the back of one the couches, and there was Velcro missing on the back of one of the couches. I was a little surprised that the brand new furniture would have that many defects. But with all that, Corey made sure the items were replaced.I give the delivery guys 1/5. The delivery guys are the biggest reason I did not like my experience. The communication was not good. They did not do a good job keeping their delivery time frame. What was an afternoon Monday delivery turned into a Tuesday, 10-12 time frame, turned into an after 4 time frame, where they showed up at 7. The original delivery didnt leave all the boxes I needed to set up my bed. And there is a $90 cash delivery fee to the driver that seems odd.
Cody was very helpful and very instrumental in helping my husband and I find the furniture to suit our daughters needs for her growing family. Although he was not quite sure of his inventory, he did not seem to mind doing all the necessary leg work to ensure the furniture we wanted was available to us.
Trever and Steve worked with me for over a hour to get every detail worked out and the payment needed. Then the following day when I returned, they had a new couch love seat which they were quick to get the one I picked out switched with the new off the truck. All at the right price. Thanks guys !!!
Came into the store to browse inventory and was greeted by Josh and Shannon!!! They made me feel like a VIP and Josh went out of his to ensure all of my questions and concerns were answered. Furnished my new apartment with the help of American Freight and I couldnt be happier. I love all my new furniture. And the staff was beyond helpful. Anyone I speak with I refer to the Savannah location. One of the best teams Ive seen in years. Buying new furniture can be very stressful, and overwhelming and they made my experience not only enjoyable but one Ill never forget. I definitely left with a smile. Thanks so much guys, yall rock! You can count on my business in the future.
Terrible furniture store, hopefully not all locations are like this one but as ive done some research from multple review sites on the internet i can see its not just this location with poor customer service after purchasing items, but not to get to far off topic. Back in 2016 Me, my wife, and kids came into the store and purchased over 1600 dollars worth of furniture, had a good first impression everyone who was working that day was on it, helping us while we were being very indecisive, upon purchasing all my items one being a recliner for myself i was told by the manager to include the sales rep helping us that we were covered to 100% of any and all damages to our furniture for 5 years garunteed and both explained all we would need to do is call the store and they would handle the rest. Now i did have to purchase additional coverage from the company for all this to be possible but was never briefed that thats who i would need to handle business with after purchasing. I was told the exact opposite, to call their location being that i bought from them and they would handle the issue. But all being said, that day was not my issue, about 14 days ago Saturday before last i sat on my recliner that i had purchased and the arm unhenged from the frame and opened up for more room maybe it felt i needed it or something but i have no clue so im just going to assume its a manufacturer issue being that im not a wide load or a destructive person, neither are my 2 children or my wife, regardless if we were the warranty i was told i had would cover it all regardless even after reading it today it still says i would be covered, reading it off thier website and my reciept I still have in hand as i type this. So that monday the 13th to be exact my wife called in because i was very busy with work related issues, when she called she was immediately treated as if she was a bother and the with attitude the person speaking that day told her that our items warranty only covered rips and stains, and nothing else and didnt know what she was talking about basically treating her as if she was Retarded. Didnt expect this type of behavior being because the in person visit was the complete opposite. So of course, when she told me the story i had to call myself to understand. however, during the time i was still caught up getting stuff back on track at work i waited till today and me having some extra time to call them. When the phone was picked up as soon as they completed their scripted phone greeted i without hesitation told the gentleman the situation, Now obviously i was a little irritated being i was told they were trying to not honor their warranties they advertised to me from my wife. After telling him the issue with my recliner and the issue with the people being disrespectful to my wife the day she called he attempted to tell me welp still theyre not going to do anything and that their warranties are only for a year which the warranty in my hand has no experation date besides the one purchased being five years from purchase date and their company website has nothing on this as well atleast from what i could find. So i started to read my reciept to him from the warranty section on it so he would understand why im wasting my time with him but he assured me he could see the reciept and if i want to file a claim so bad then i could do it myself at Guardian the warranty company myself but their going to deny my claim too so it was up to me, and he didnt care. so i continued to ready it anyways because at this point i was being treated the same my wife was treated and the attitude i was recieving a from a store that promises 100% customer satisfaction was very unprofessional after i continued i heard him slam the phone the either a table or desk and walk away while i was dtill talking to tell someone in the background here you wanna deal wuth this dude he wont shut up, i told him i dont need him to read the reciept to me and i can already see it so another person who said he was the manager answered the phone and once again same issue occured
Between me and my fiance. Weve had multiple bad experiences. I bought a bed from there. The bed in store was very conferable. The bed they strapped to the top of my car and brought home was the exact opposite. Very hard and stiff. Had it for a while now and dont use it because it hurts my back. My fiance bought a 2 piece couch set and we hate it. The cushions are hard and slide off every time we sit on them. Its impossible to get conferable on this couch. We had to buy Velcro to keep the cushions from sliding off. Oh and to top it off. The delivery company that they used to deliver their furniture are complete idiots and they dont help set the furniture up. They just leave it. Very low class people. Theres a reason why its cheap and that because the furniture is cheaply made crap.
Yeah... me and my husband just went into the savannah ga location to buy a couch, 2 recliners, and 3 twin beds. They had JUST opened. There were 2 guys loading a truck, but stopped like 3 times to talk to the guys behind the counter, and not one person said a word to us until we walked out the door. No help, no assistance. Very poor business skills. And for a memorial day sale.Today is my birthday and we were ready to drop $$$ on our first time at this business.THANKS FOR NOTHING.WERE GOING TO ASHLEY FURNITURE.
I am only giving one star because my couch was delivered just fine & it’s nice but other than my living room furniture everything else is terrible. I ordered bedroom furniture and the day before it was supposed to be delivered we called just to make sure everything was fine and they said it was. The date of our move they only brought part of the furniture we ordered & stated that the other parts wouldn’t arrive for another two days but when we called up there nothing was said. Because we needed our furniture so we ended up switching to another color and then they ended up dropping the mirror to the dresser so we had to wait 2 more weeks for a mirror they broke. When we opened the boxes at home the dresser drawers were stuck shut & the drawer that was a part of our bed was cracked. Now we’re back to our original color and straight out of the box another drawer is damaged. They have good prices, good financing, and the employees & Assistant manager Mike are decent employees but the top of the management there, Josh, has terrible customer service after he gets you to buy something. I most like won’t order any other bedroom furniture here if anything at all. Beyond frustrated with this company.
I just bought their 7 piece living room package here and I only paid $425.86 after taxes! They delivered the furniture kind of late but I did buy it after 5pm (3 hours before they close) so I can’t really complain. I’m just glad I got my furniture the same day. I will definitely recommend this store to my friends and family.
American Freight has many choices to satisfy everyones needs. We came in and explained to Cody exactly what we were looking for and he was very knowledgable and helped us with now wait time. As soon as we walked through the door we had picked out our bed wishing 15-20 min. Thank you so much Cody for your help!!
I would give zero stars if I could. My wife and I bought a bedroom set and furniture from them. Not only did they not have the bed frame when we came to pick it up after we paid for it. But it took us 3 months of calling and asking when I would get it before ever seeing it. Then the frame broke 2 weeks later it was a total waist of money don’t buy furniture from here.
Went in to look around and was not asked if I needed help or anything. I finally approached them at the desk and was made to feel as if I was bothering them. I ended putting a table set on layaway and paid off a couple weeks later only to be told that the tables were not there and every time I called to see if they were there I was told they were not and they didnt know when they would come in. There are plenty of other places I can spend my money and Ill be going there from now on.
American Freight of Savannah and their staff were exceptional! Cory was EXTREMELY helpful! He helped my husband and I pick out three couches. He was patient and kind, when two had to be exchanged. We live in a smaller apartment. Cory took the time to measure every sofa, sectional, and reclining love seat. American Freight has a HUGE selection. We found the PERFECT piece for our home. GO SEE COREY and the staff at American Freight. We will be back!!
At first the staff was very helpful. After i got home with the cheap furniture that was not what I paid for was a different story. The delivery guys have came out twice and still dont have the right materials for the completion of my kids beds. Called the store several times about them not having things like my bed rails or frame and headboard being delivered. They said they would send it out the same day and here it is two days later and still I have not received the things I need for my kids bed. This has been two weeks of back and forth with them about furniture i paid for. All I can say is you get what you pay for next time I will spend the extra bucks and go to rooms to go. After all rooms to go do at least put the furniture together.
Bought over $2k worth of furniture and got scammed out of $200 bucks. Shady act #1 - they over charged us $100 on the price of the couch and will not honor it. Shady act #2, we did 101 days same as cash, no interest which sounds great but they snuck in another $99 mystery charge for value1. Shady Act #3, my girl went to get our money back and they Gaslighted her. Shady act #4 if you take 102 days to pay it off, they sneak in another $5000 for fees and the cost of financing. Beware!!!!!!!, my advice if you must use these guys, get in, get your deal, dont finance, dont make any arrangements, take you stuff immediately and get out of there. Next Day Customer service is deplorable.
This is the best place to buy furniture from in the area. The staff and sales people are extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of their jobs. They are also very friendly and helpful in helping you chose what pieces of furniture will meet your needs. Not to mention the prices are unbeatable. Before buying furniture anywhere else you should check this place out. Ive had them deliver furniture to me on a couple of occasions and Ive been 100 percent satisfied. I will not buy furniture from anywhere else.
The in-store experience was nice.I had no issues.My daughter and I picked her out a mattress for her new big girl bed, paid, and set up delivery.You need new delivery drivers.I realize that they are outsourced but, it reflects poorly on your company when your customer is called at 5 in the afternoon and, told delivery will be shortly and well, guess what?Its almost 10 at night and, I have yet to see my purchase.Plus, I am expected to pay a $70 delivery fee.This is ridiculous.
By far the best furniture store / warehouse in SAVANNAH!!! Hands down!! I have had nothing but good experiences when dealing with this company... Easy to get along with and they will work with you to get you what you need and when you need.. If you need furniture... I would highly recommend this place. And they have a nice size selection... I know where i will be doing all of my business from now on!
My boyfriend and i got a whole bedroom set for around 2,000 but with their layaway it was perfect we could pay 100 $ bi weekly or 10 $ depending on how tight money was that week...weve had it for about 6 months and love it... so much that we have a livingroom set on layaway now. big selection, good prices! My favorite thing, if you change your mind, or they come out with something new you can use the money you already paid to swap it out for something else. ( p.s ask for scotty...we always enjoy dealing with him)
I literally had the worst experience with this location over the weekend and I will never ever purchase anything from them again.they are very unprofessional, they have poor customer service, lack of communications, and managements are just awful so I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.
I purchased a whole household of fruniture from American Freight on a tight budget and I must say Im quiet pleased with everything, the staff was extremely helpful ,especially John and Tyler my delivery guys they really went out their way to place all my items where I needed them to and answered any questions I had.. Thanks to entire American Freight Team I plan on doing more more business with them as well as recommend to all my family and friends...
The only reason I gave a star is because I could not post without it! My furniture has been with them for over a week, and I have heard every excuse except the truth to why they have fail to deliver my furniture. This is very unprofessional!! I will be getting a full refund and will not do business with them and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy!
For the love of God please change your commercial, I have to mute the tv everytime it comes on. Its obnoxious and loud as hell. You could possibly have great sales and furniture but that commercial ruins it. Congrats youre more annoying than an hour long infomercial in the span of 20 seconds.

2022-05-13I had a great experience at American freight. I got the pleasure of working with Joshua Glavey and a couple other gentlemen whose names I didn’t get. They all were very friendly, extremely helpful, and didn’t make me feel pressured to buy anything. Nonetheless I walked out with a full bed set at a great price! Not to mention it’s great quality and extremely comfortable. I’m looking forward to doing more business here for my home and family members’. Great prices, great products, great people. 2022-03-15The sale men are great and work with you to find a product you like. Prices are competitive with online retailers and the quality seems nice. I would recommend to anyone to purchase from them BUT to pick it up yourself. You will save so much time.This has been the absolute worst delivery experience of my life.First off, let me say they dont have delivery time frames, its just from when they open (10am) to when they close (6pm). So if youre expecting a delivery, you need to devote an entire day to waiting. One day isnt so bad, but their professional incompetence has wasted several days of my life.I ordered a bedroom set, the expected delivery date was Saturday 3/12. Saturday rolls around and I get a call in the afternoon with them telling me their delivery driver was a no-call, no-show and that my delivery will instead be on Sunday 3/13. The next day, I call in the morning and they assure me it will be delivered today. I wait, and wait, and wait. I call again at 3pm, they tell me its on the way and should be there soon. I wait, and wait, and wait. 5:45 rolls around and I give them a call to see where my delivery is, to which they then tell me that they forgot to put it on the truck.I ask them if they can have my set delivered on the following Tuesday 3/15 in the morning since I work during the week, they tell me its not possible and that theyll try but theres no way of requesting a time inside of their 8 hour window.So instead of a day of waiting for my delivery I have successfully wasted 3 WHOLE days waiting, and waiting, and waiting. At this point Im starting to doubt it will ever be delivered.So until they workout how they handle deliveries, I would never recommend this option to anyone. Pick it up yourself, or you might waste half a week of your life waiting.

2022-06-17A Grateful Experience! I recently and unexpectedly got custody of my nephews. Though I have room in home to take them in, I did not have beds for them. They had been sleeping in a full size air bed. I recently became self-employed and funds were tight! I had been everywhere looking for a deal on TWO twin beds! What happened to the $99 twin size mattress? I went into American Frieight in Savannah and came out with TWO TWIN beds under budget thanks to employee Michael! I dont know if this is a bait and switch tactic because they were trying to sell us something that was not at all what we liked. The more we said no the more they tried to pressure us. 2022-03-31I went to this place to look for me a double oven it was advertised that they had it there but when I went in they said they did not carry it but they had regular ovens and the reason why Im giving it a five star is because the customer service guy was so friendly and he got on his computer and looked up the closest place where I can find a double oven so I gave him a five star for the effort and the friendliness
