A wide variety and well-organized throughout the store! My biggest complaints: cleanliness and staff. The floor is SO DUSTY and gross. The check out lines at the front seemed neglected and cluttered as well. The staff members didn’t seem to care when the line stretched a third to halfway across the store. It wasn’t until a gentleman behind me (after we were waiting a long time for the lady in front of us with a shopping cart FULL to finish) walked up to THAT register— the only one that was open— and asked for extra help to be called.
Going downhill. Be prepared to find nothing and/or stand in line for an hour for one register
Decent 2nd hand store. Half the employees are surly boulderdashes, the other quite friendly. Prices on nice desiigner clothes are great. Knock knacks and electronics are inconsistent and random. Big store, lots of parking. Im my opinion the amount they donate should be posted.
I’ve come to donate things here plenty of times. Every time I come, I seem to have some type of bad experience. Usually it’s just that they don’t want to give you your receipt but this time they didn’t even go outside. Nobody was there so I went into the thrift store where this older woman looked me in the eyes and told me she couldn’t do anything about it and to wait and that they’re probably on break. I’m sorry but I’m here an hour after y’all accept donations, that is no time for a break. She didn’t move to see what the issue was. Probably the last time I’ll be here to donate anything.
Usually decent thing and decent prices which I like, but using your price stickers to cover defects on items is just a dirty trick :/

I have been going to American thrift since they where in the smaller location down the street. My favorite thrift store. Looks like they got an upgrade and its brighter inside.
Out of all the thrift stores around, Americas Thrift is my favorite. I love their prices for the most part. You can find everything you need for your home there along with a new wardrobe. I like how the clothes racks are sorted by size, that way you can go right to the racks you need. I could spend hours in there depending on the temperature in the store. Either their HVAC doesnt work, or they are not allowed to use it. They have fans going in the store, but its never enough. I have had to leave before just for the fact that my children were sweating. They make plenty of money, it wouldnt kill them to have the AC going. I feel for the poor employees.
Really wasnt looking for anything in particular, but it was clean, organized and well taken care of. I never saw a tag that was the 50% off color, but saw a couple that were 30% off. Do be careful, I saw several vases that were priced $1.99. You can buy them for $1.00 brand new.
Love the prices. Store looks better than ever. But some employees could work on being a little more kind. Simple things like saying hello at the register, or if someone is asking you a question try not to seem like they are bothering you. Retail is hard work but customer service is vital. Its what keeps the lights on. That being said there were very nice people there too.
This thrift store is usually pretty good, they have recently changed their signage inside and the aisles have less donated goods and more cheap dollar-store stuff 🙄

As far as thrift stores go theyre the best on there prices. I hope they dont go up on there prices like so many of the others have. So many people out there still need low pricing. There store is always clean and hardly ever have to wait in line. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Id say theyre about a ten for thrift stores.
Good local shopping for second hand goods. Nice variety of used clothing , old electronics, and other home items. Also masks required and all store employees using safety measures at this time.
This place is my new treasure hunting thrift location. Found a real Michael Kors jacket in very good condition for $15.00! This place was worth the price and the trip!

2022-04-26I had the most terrible experience here with the manger, an older lady , on the heavier side. Everytime I go in I find good things but her in particular is so unprofessional, unpleasant and plain out rude, everyone else is helpful and nice.I went on Saturday with my 5yr old daughter she loved 2 hatchimals that were in the toy section . I approached the manager bc they both didnt have a price tag she said to come back tomorrow , she will have them ready so I did.When I came back , I asked the cashier for the hatchimals, he saw them and still didnt have a tag so I Went to look around and actually found 2 more hatchimals with tags both at $1.99. I brought those 2 , to the manager and she took them to the back where she wad holding the other ones... she came with the other one priced at $3.99 . I said to her why didnt you match the price with the other ones that are at $1.99 and immediately said NO looking at me with a confused look on her face. She always has this I dont know look on her face, in my opinion is jusy so she doesnt have to deal with anythingSomeone has to do something about her bad attitude. Even target or other stores match prices and this here is a thrift store, where we donate to help other people but well she doesnt. This place needs a better fitted Manger, someone who truly loves to help people.

2020-02-13Pretty much anyone that goes to a thrift store is looking for a decent deal... Well, Americas Thrift Store in Marietta is literally one the most expensive thrift store that I have ever been into. The 3 stars is because it was very well organized & the staff was friendly, the missing 2 stars is because you cant really buy anything! $7.99 for used Mens T-Shirts! $8.99 for old polo type collar shirts? Insanely overpriced on just about everything in the entire store! Used, dirty valentines teddy bears (with 2012,2016 on them) were $4.99-7.99+! Not really sure who is setting these ridiculous prices but whoever it is is completely out of touch with the average thrifter! Overall the store was extremely well organized and that deserved the 3 stars alone!

2022-03-15Miserable, extremely rude staff- especially the manager in Opelika, AL! Check your items for damage. They do not want them back and refuse to give a refund.

2021-04-27I never know what I may find here! Such a treasure hunt of name brand cute clothes! Also paintings and furniture. The employees are all friendly and helpful. Yesterday a young woman Katie was busy hanging clothes and was so sweet showing me the discount colors! Definitely worth a visit!

2021-09-24Really cool place. Sometimes very good deals. Dont be afraid just because its a thrift store. I got a great phone charger for $1. Its no frills for sure but dont expect frills.
