I took my poodle for grooming and never have I had my dog’s hair butchered like this cut today. They tried to say that because he is old, he couldn’t tolerate the grooming. Very unprofessional and not worth the money!😡😡🥰
My fur babies are treated like royalty each visit. We board our dogs and have them groomed @ Animal Boutique. The owners and staff are fantastic people! I’m grateful for the top notch care.
I will never do business with them again!!! I dropped my dog off and I wasnt wearing a mask and no one said anything. Sent my 17 year old to pick the dog back up when they were done and she refused to give my son the dog unless he put a mask on. He offered to wait outside and she threatened calling the cops and keeping the dog!!! Dont offer service and accept my money and then suddenly go off on a power trip on my son!!! Very rude and unprofessional owner!!!
Every time I bring my pup Peach to AB, they always do such a great job grooming and taking care of her at doggy daycare. They have very reasonable prices and hours! Peach is a bit skittish but she always comes out wagging her tail and very happy. I wish they offered credit/debit services, but other than that, no complaints!
Our dog was Boarding from (10/08-10/12/2021) when he went in he was healthy and very happy with the girls that was going to take care of him. My husband called every day to check on him. On Monday told us that he had been throwing up. At this point we cut our trip short and picked him up on Tuesday between 4 and 4:30 pm. He could hardly move and had bowel movement on his leg. When we got home he would not eat or drink . Called the vet and we were there by 8:00 am waiting to go in and be checked out . He was severely dehydrated and very sick. Two days of staying to the vet with IV’s for the dehydration and meds at this point the vet did blood work and found out he was very sick. Do to not receiving enough water and not eating while being boarding at Animal Boutique. He ended up with bacteria infection. Again pick up on Tuesday afternoon 4 to 4:30 pm Wednesday and Thursday from 8 to 4 for IV with meds and Was to goBack again on Friday at 8am.. My husband checked on him all thru the night. And Cody died between 4 and 5 am. We will never take another animal there again . James and Margo Adkins
Love this place. They tackled 9 pets from me at once and made it the best experience Ive had in a while for boarding. My babies even came back with festive bananas for the fourth of July weekend! Cute! Im so grateful for your service and working with me. Thank you guys so much again.

This is the third time I’ve taken my dog to this place, he is a large labradoodle and I will be looking for a new place. He was supposed to be shaved down for a summer cut (size 7 is what they said) but in between his legs the hairs are still super long. On his back it looks like he was cut up a bit or left with baldish spots. A lot of his face hairs are out of place or looks as if they were cut from differ angles. I will definitely be trying to cut all the excess hair off his face as it is uneven from one side to the other. I moved from a different state and my dog used to love getting groomed until he started coming here.
Took my 7-year old Staffordshire Terrier here for a grooming service and was very pleased with the courtesy and professionalism of the staff as well as the care they took of my dog. My only complaint is that they are cash/check only. Other than, Id highly recommend.
I dropped my dog off for doggy day care and they said that she was amazing!! I was so happy until I saw that she was scratched up horribly. Now I know that dogs can be a little rough sometimes but they completely disregarded to tell me nor bothered to apologize. They turned completely unprofessional when I had asked them about it. I will be taking my dog to the vet and will never be taking her there again.
I could cry with how amazing this place is! My cat had the worst flea infestation that we caught when it was too late, after this grooming visit we will be taking her to the vet for her flea pill. My poor cat was just covered and she was getting patchy from how bad she was scratching. Well the owner cleaned her so amazingly, also she cleaned her kennel when she had an accident and she cleaned her kennel of fleas. Amazing staff as well, very kind quick service! Thank you so much for helping my Kat get better.
Horrible experience WILL NOT go back. If you have a toy breed I do not recommend you taking your dog here!!!!! Our Pom was supposed to have Teddy Bear cut showed picture how she is always groomed picked her up and she had been completely shaved down even her tail which has never been cut short was shaved. Another person in reviews described there pom looking like a ratty Chihuahua mine looked the exact same. If you have a Pom do not take here. Mine has several razor cuts on her belly and back side she has never been treated this way by a groomer.
Took my dogs in to watch over the weekend, no complaints on my dogs stay as they seemed fine when I picked them up. But for being in such a modern age they should take debit and credit cards but they only take cash which is a huge inconvenience.
They were unable to do what we asked. Our cats back is half shaved and one of his claws was clipped too far and was sent home still bleeding
I love this place. I took my puppy here regularly for boarding on my long shift day and he adored it. They also do a good job with their baths and nail trim, though Ive never had my dog groomed there. Nikki seemed to be in great spirits after her bath and smells great! I would definitely recommend this place for boarding or a bath!
My husband and I have been bringing our dogs here for the last 3 years and it’s so nice to know we can 100% trust the staff with our pets. Our dogs LOVE getting dropped off here. It’s going to be hard to find another excellent pet grooming and boarding facility once we move. I highly recommend Animal Boutique to all my friends! 5 gold stars!!!!!
Absolutely fantastic place and wonderful people. We just moved down to the area and have brought our dog to them many times for grooming, bathing, and exercise and have had nothing but great things to say about them.There are zero other places id trust in the area to take care of our dog.
They seemed really nice and patient with my pampered pooch. I had to call to see if he was ready though. And I couldnt understand why his eyes were so bloodshot red. What kind of product are they using and did they get it in his eyes??? He is still having some drainage from his eyes and this was like a week ago! Did I mention he caught kennel cough? He was vaccinated, but there are different strains. So that was an emergency visit to the vet on a Saturday night. He is back to normal now. Im just not sure about going back.
I took my 1-year old Lab/Cocker/Pom baby in this morning for her very first grooming appointment and I could not be more thrilled! I had the pleasure of meeting 2 employees at Animal Boutique — Kelsey (such a sweetheart over the phone and in person!) and Miss Elaine. Folks, ELAINE IS AWESOME! She has 25-years of experience under her belt and she is so knowledgeable about how to properly groom ... even with my little mixed breed baby. Definitely will be back!
Animal Boutique does an amazing job grooming our energetic terrier. They have good prices, adorable bandanas and a friendly staff. Thank you for going above and beyond!
Excellent place to take your pup for grooming
Our two large and exuberant dogs had a great time there over the weekend. They were well cared for and even bathed when we picked them up. Well definitely be coming back! But do remember to bring cash it is a bit inconvenient they have such limited payment options.
Since we retired, we travel frequently so we use a mail agent in NC to care for our snail mail. That NC address is the return address on our local NFCU checks. Animal Boutique will not accept our checks now because of our return address even though it is from a local bank. So rather than try to convince the staff again, that we are loyal customers of 4 years with no history of bad check writing, we will use a different groomer. This is 2018, they may consider upgrading the payment system technology since their customer base can not be trusted and they are that concerned about bad checks.We have been using Animal Boutique for a long time and have noticed several times something was not done that is part of the price for a standard grooming. Small things like not all four feet had a nail trim, didnt pluck and clean his ears, etc. For me it was easier to just trim the missed nails and pluck his ears myself. You have lost a good customer.
Will never take my Maltese/Shih Tzu back to this place. The first time he was groomed, they shaved ALL of his hair off and advised that he was too feisty for the number of people staffed for the weekend, and to bring him back during the week when theres more staff to assist. Brought him back a second time, this time on a Friday due to work schedule. They shaved all of his hair off again. This time he even had a couple of red spots where he was shaved entirely too close, bald. I was given the same explanation, but this time they very nonchalantly added that he needs to be brought in earlier in the week. I guess they didnt have enough staff on Friday either. I take my dog to get groomed when my work schedule allows me to. A professional groomer should be able to handle pets of all types. Theyre like people. They dont all have the same personality or even cooperate at all times. That does not excuse this level of unprofessionalism. I found a professional groomer in Augusta that can handle my very petite dog and truly treats him like a family member. With all of this being said, if you have a small feisty dog like mine, please take them early in the week or find a groomer that cares for all types no matter what day it is. A real professional will send your dog home clean and dapper any day of the week!
Friendly, efficient service! We brought five cats in for a grooming and flea treatment and they did not flinch! Grooming for five cats was expensive, but if I only had one, the cost is definitely manageable!
DO NOT LEAVE YOUR FUR BABIES WITH ANIMAL BOUTIQUE. I went to pick my dogs up and I noticed one of them had a big gash above her eye. They acted like we dont know how that happened. You said you just washed my dogs, you just brushed her out and did her nails but you didnt see that gash on her eye?I dont know what happened but someone there does. This is a picture of the gash above her eye. I hope you never take your animals to this place, ever.Just so you all know...I didnt want my money back. Im not planing on sueing. I took care of my own fur babys eye. I dont want anything from these people except that you all know so you can make the right decision for your fur babies.Needless to say,. My babies WILL NOT GO BACK TO ANIMAL BOUTIQUE!!!!!
Took our puppy here for a grooming...never again! Her hair is so choppy and WAY too short. They cut it way shorter than i asked, i even showed them a picture of her from her last grooming and it look nothing like it. The bandana they put around her neck was covering a huge chunk of long hair that was left behind. The worst part about it all is that she looked absolutely terrified when i picked her up. The man attending the front desk had a really hard time getting her to come out of the kennel. She has never acted like that before and she has been groomed numerous times (elsewhere as we just moved to the area). I feel awful about taking her there and of course never again, i love my fur baby way too much to put her through that again.
VERY friendly staff! You can tell they care about their animals. I bring my old 150lb dog here and they are always extra gentle. They have decent prices to for the work they do. If you care about your pets like they are your kids, then I recommend using animal botique.
GASHED our dog! RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL OWNER! I went to pick up our yorkiepoo after a 2 day stay for an injury that clearly happened on their time. There was a large gash directly under his mouth that went from one side of the mouth to the other. It may have come from a muzzle that was applied too tight for too long, or sharp clippers.(We own neither a muzzle or clippers at our home) Either way, he did not have it before he went in to stay and the owner was not cooperative at all. A simple apology or an explanation would have sufficed but instead I dealt with attitude the entire time. They could not explain why it was there and after a while she refused to talk on the phone with the primary owner of our dog. She also threatened to call the cops on me for whatever reason. Not once was I rude to her or raise my voice. I went home very unsatisfied and with an injured animal. We will NOT be back and will not refer anyone to this shady and unprofessional place of business.
Do NOT take your pets there if you love them at all! I took my Yorkie to get groomed and they scalped her when I asked for a medium length cut. She also had a cut on the inside of the fold of her leg that I had to clean when I got her home. When I asked for a refund, they refused. Terrible customer service and terrible grooming! On top of that they dont require pet vaccination records which is very sketchy.
The service is always friendly. The girls at the front desk are always so polite and gentle. They make a point to know your pets name. It always tickles me when Ziggy comes in because he gives the girls such a hard time because hes shy. They remain patient with him and when he warms off hes off to go enjoy himself. Ziggy comes frequently for daycare, grooming and in between baths. Weve occassionally used boarding and my fur baby was well taken care of with each visit
My dog had a huge gash on her nose that they blamed on her. which they conveniently forgot to mention whenever I called to check on her. I dont believe them they are shady. I have boarded my dog at the animal house and never had a problem like this. I only brought my dog here because animal house was booked. I went to pick up ky dog and they charges me an extra 75 for grooming when all I asked was for a haircut which they didst do right the first time. do not take your dog here these people are shady and under staffed.
Horrible horrible place. Asked for a lion cut for my pomeranian and instead they shaved all of him including his forehead and his cheeks and some of his whiskers. Makes it worse they held him all day (probably to come up with a story on why they butchered my dog) and blamed me bc he was matted. My dog was not matted. We asked for them not to touch his ears and they cut his ears up. My dog also had razor burns on both his back legs. One of the ladies said oops I didnt know he needed a lion cut, I was told he needed to be blended. Then the other groomer tried to give me advice on brushes and combs. I repeat MY DOG WAS NOT MATTED. and whats worse, they shaved him all over and hes not even shaved even. Random long hair all over. When I tried to complain the guy on the phone kept saying he couldnt hear me and then said I had to speak to the groomers but they were already gone for the day. But how are they gone in the the middle of the day?? Very shady place. DO NOT TRUST YOUR DOG HERE. now Im stuck with a pomeranian that looks like a ratty chihuahua and Im pretty sure my dogs confidence has been affected. I would give 0 stars if I could.
I have been boarding my two dogs here for about 3 times a year for the past 8 years. They take very good care of them! I will continue bringing my dogs and recommend my friends who have pets to bring them.
Floki is always excited to come back and worn out when we pick him up. They take great care of him rather we are on a weekend trip or a week long vacation. The fact that he gets a bath before we pick him up is always an added perk; he smells fresh and always has a cute bandana around his neck. They always make room for our dog and have the best prices in town including a military discount. We will continue to come back time and time again.
My dog has gone there for 6 years and its been wonderful until last weekend. Since the owner isnt there and has been out on surgery service is awful. We went to take my dogs and one of them who has been going the longest to get boarded was terrified for the first time to go back. She was shaking and had her tail between her legs. Two days ago we found out that she has a serious back problem and is on steroids. Its either pay 4,000 dollars for a surgery, let her be in pain forever, or put her down. When we asked how she got this he said the only way she could have gotten it was falling off something high like a vet table or grooming table. she hasnt been to the vet since her last check up about 6 months ago. We knew something was wrong when we picked her up last time and we asked them if something happened and they acted really funny. Now wonder she was terrified to go back there.
I took my Yorkie to get groomed here and she looks choppy Asf ! Still have some long haired spots some short like very short Almost bald it looks like something I couldve done this myself but instead I payed a Groomer too which it seem like they had no experience she got her nails clip but they still sharp her tail hair is choppy and sloppy Im looking through her hair and I find a scab . Im just unsatisfied the staff seemed friendly like that knew what they were doing but they never once asked about my dogs vaccinations ... Hmmm
I read some of the bad reviews and decided to try them out anyways because me and my wife are new to town. Boy should I have listened! They held our dogs for six hours and when we picked him up not only did he have blood on his paw but he was not cut like we asked. My wife and I agreed that we will never recommend this place to anyone we know!!!!
The owner is rude and a skemer! My son took my dog yesturday to get groomed choose bad place I am about to give birth high risk, called them yesterday on my cell they didnt answer today they wanted to charge me boarding fee and hit me with 65.00 told them what happened they didnt even care! They didnt answer the phone deliberately so they can charge me a fee. Had to call police to do report for court. The owner is so rude and nasty. Do not take your pet here... youll be sorry and if anyone saids otherwise it would be the staff or her. Horrible..

Nothing but the best for our Golden doodle Radko! The team at Animal Boutique treats him with love and affection and does a perfect job for time. They are the very best.
Rude, unprofessional, disorganized.. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE. We take our dog to daycare and this is my first experience boarding our other dog. They make things 100 times more difficult, they do not communicate their policies, and the owner is literally one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. When I would take my business elsewhere, her reply? I DONT CARE!
It was reasonably priced but there are limited areas to let large dogs run loose and they dont appear to have anyone there overnight. They close at 7 oclock at night and dont open till 7 in the morning so it was twelve hours before the dogs are let out again. I was not real happy with that.
Our dogs love being boarded here. They are always excited when we get here to drop them off. They know them by name and are great with them. If the dogs had had a bad experience they wouldnt like coming here.
Horrible experince. The did boarding for my cat for a month. I came before the month was up . Ypou shoudl have seen the front desk ladys face when i went in .. she tried to stop me and tell me they were cleaning ... oh boy was I for a surprise I was in shock to see tha the room was extremely warm.. andmy cats dish bowl food was dry as rock ( can food) and full of mildew!!!! He had no water and the place was extremly hot and stunk like crazy . My cat look misserable. he obviously lost weight . I took him home and he was just not himself at all Took him to the vet and he was dehydrated , running a fever , starved , and had a horrible infection because he tried to eat the mildew food . I felt so bad leaving him in the hands of those people that said would take care of him. I am so glad I came in before the month or he would have died there.. I would never EVER recommend this place . If you love your pet stay away from this place.
Going back tomorrow for them to try for the THIRD time to groom my dog. Even brought them a picture of him with the hair cut I like the best. Seriously? How hard can it be?? What they sent him out with isnt even close! I will update tomorrow
This is a Great Place to board your pets. We have used them for over 11 years and never had any issues.
My lab, LittleBoy, had a great experience. They did everything I asked and returned him to me in a timely manner. I definitely would recommend them to my fellow pet owners and I, too, will use them again.
Took my yorkie there yesterday and they shaved him when I specifically asked for them not to and now his hair cut is butchered now. I will never take any of my pets there again. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
I been coming to this place for long and we just got a new member in the family been paying $40 for the first time only to come to the boutique and this man at the front desk was so rude saying that they don’t do none of that but the way the speak to the costumer just not right.. not recommend..
They have done great with my older dog, who needs special care. He comes back perfect every time and remember exactly what I had done the time before!
Wont be back. Took my golden and Asked for a bath and de-shed but all i got was a bath (6hrs later they said they called me but didnt), they said oh let him play outside and the loose hair will will fall out.Never had to do that with petco de-shed.Seemed like a scattered ran business.
Our dog stayed for three nights and we were happy with the service. She was happy and clean when we picked her up.

My dog got kennel cough while there - and they make you side a waiver so they arent responsible before dropping them off - kinda suspicious
Even though our dog was up to date of all vaccines, he was exposed and diagnosed with kennel cough..... pretty discouraging.
The facility was absolutely disgusting in the back. The back smells and is not clean. They cut my dog and said that it was absolutely normal bc they are just dogs

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I took my 8 year old lab in for a BATH and get her NAILS cut. THEY SHAVED HER!! I will NEVER take her back. She is now BALD from the back of her ears to the bends of her legs.
This is the worst dog groomer I have ever been to . They dont listen to how you want your dog gtoomed they do it the way they want to when I took the bandana of my Yorkie I noticed the had scalped my Yorkie neck all the way to the skin.

They have the best groomers. Both my Pomeranians go 2x a month and they always look great.
Cooper gets his nails done here (biggest challenge), he gets the cleaning done as well and seems to of enjoyed!

2022-02-06Not one to bash someones profession but this place is completely unacceptable. Took my frenchie to be groomed and thought they did a good job until I got him back home and was looking him over. My dogs ears were not cleaned. They did not clean his paws and his testicles were shaved and literally raw. Will not promote nor spend money with these people ever again.

2021-12-28My dog was COVERED in red bites when he left there after a 5 day stay over Christmas. I emailed pictures and questions but received no reply. I would think a general wellness check would occur for animals staying many nights but I guess not. I will not be boarding with them again. Very dissapointed since they seemed like okay people.

2021-11-29I’ve been bringing my pup to Animal Boutique for doggy day care and to have his nails trimmed on occasion since he was about 5 months old. I boarded him 5 nights, for the first time, over Thanksgiving. I just picked him up and I asked how he did, they said he just PLAYS HARD nonstop. When they brought him out, he didn’t even want to leave 😂

2021-04-11I brought in a friends poodle who was in desperate need of a haircut. We were told the dog needed to be shaved, my friend wasnt too happy about that but we knew if thats what was best, it is what we would do. I asked for an early pick up time (even with 8 pets in front of us) and was delighted to hear from Animal Boutique within a couple of hours! Abby (the dog) seemed happy. The shaving was done well. I have since booked a grooming my own dog! Great job Courtney and Animal Boutique

2021-02-15We bring our two Rottweilers here since we moved to GA last year. We have a 110 pound boy and a puppy they’ve watched grow. Animal boutique will always be our favorite spot for our babies. Whether it be grooming or boarding they have fair pricing and I know they are in good hands. Our dogs are so excited whenever they get dropped off and the staff meets them with smiles and love. I’m so glad to have found a wonderful place to care for them. Their baths are amazing and always come home smelling amazing. They have no problem handling our big boy and his high energy. and I know they get extra treats when they are there for boarding. Thank you very much for taking care of Arlo and coconut like your own.
