Service was pleasant, a little slow. The food was okay but over all disappointing and definitely not worth $20 00 per meal. Nothing glaringly wrong over all, however enough inadequacies that would give me pause recommending this location for a meal. We definitely expected more from this location.
Not the best I have been to as far restaurants go. It was freezing cold in there we waited on our food. They were out of things that were on the menu. They gave our check to another table. My food was very greasy and the price for a burger fries and salad was a bit high.
The host sat us at a dirty wet table. My pasta was not good. And the dishes was not picked up in a timely manner. We had plates everywhere there was no room. The sweet tea was to sweet. Although my husband did enjoy this all-day brunch burger, he wanted another one it was so good.
I went today to get serviced no one acknowledged me and my family they kept just looking after waiting 15 minutes and watching families come in and turn I around a lady walks up and yell it’s going to be a 30-60 minute wait as if she wants everyone to leave and walks off. I stop a server and ask could we get on the list she says ok and walks off never comes back. The lobby piled up no one acknowledged anyone they just wanted people to leave. It was not busy at all the most horrible ranked establishment in Columbus ga. Went to ocharleys greeted immediately
I havent been to an Applebees in years and I can tell you I definitely will not visit this location again! The waitress got my order wrong, then when I asked for the correct item (baked potato), it was plain and I had to wait even longer to receive the condiment (just butter!), so I could start eating before it all got cold! The baby back ribs (a signature dish for Applebees), was lacking flavor and BBQ sauce (only about 2 teaspoons of sauce for a whole rack). They were tender, at least, but still dry. The waitress seemed disinterested in offering good service, as we had to ask her for every little thing (like a water refill). My friends water was empty and my mothers all you can eat dish, stayed empty for a while before she could reorder, then wait to be cooked. The waitress was eating her dinner at the same time she was trying to wait on our table, so she was around the corner sitting down. I get she needs dinner before the dinner rush, but didnt have another wait staff member take care of us during her ?break? Mind you, we arrived there around 5pm. Not worth the $60 bill.
We had no server. The manager took our order, the woman from the bar brought the order out, & we saw no one else for anything. I stopped a server almost 15mins after we were done eating to ask fornour check. No drink refills, we had to ask for silverware, no condiments for our meal. It was an overall bad visit this time.
I was Door Dashing but my I observation of the staff: respectful, pleasant with the customers, attentive to me walking in, politely greeted, an not a long wait for my pick up. An it all appeared to be cleaner then most establishments. I would definitely sit in there with family an friends
Dirty bathrooms and restaurant. Service was terrible. We were left with are menus and had to clear them ourselves. Orders were brought out at vastly varying times which was rather annoying. People who were seated after us got their food first. The food was bland and lack luster. I have never been so disappointed and dissatisfied with any dinner.
This year I understand how customer service has decline. My order was so wrong I advise the waitress and she clearly ignored the facts. Ask for a peach tea and gave me a lemonade. Bartender attempted to correct with giving me a half empty cup of the drink if my choice. I was sick of it. Any who I received a called from management with a promise of a gift card for my troubles and that never happen either. Listening is vital. Food tasted great thou
Its something to behold! If I come back in here, I am certain to have an experience that I can only describe as entertaining. It is as though I fell through the cracks of humanity and landed in a world ruled by filth dimension beings set out for revenge against bland food and boorish conversation!!!.........
If I could give this place negative stars I would. Waitress kept disappearing. Not once asked if we needed anything. Husbands tea glass was empty the entire time. He finally went to the bar and asked for a refill. His steak came out and was cold and dry. Sent back but was taking too long so just asked to have it removed from the bill. She said she would have to ask management. The manager never even come over to address us. Poor service and horrible food.
We came to Applebees during the lunch hour and we stayed long through the dinner menu. We ordered a variety of appetizers and entrees which were all delicious! Our waitress was attentive and top notch! Our order were brought promptly, but not on top of each other as I have had the experience of noting at a few other restaurants. We really appreciated this, because it gave us the chance to thoroughly enjoy ourselves in Applebees ambiance and fine dining!
Hostess was rude when we were seated, the order was messed up, food came out cold, waiters did not have a professional attitude. Manger came out and apologize for the rude service and food. They did comp our bill. Also we got 7 sets of sliver were and only 2 of them were clean.
We waited to long to be seated, after we were seated they left and forgot to give us menu so we waited longer for those after a while we order out food. We waited 2 going on 3 hours for our food and at that point we just told them we will take it to go since it was going to be 12:00. Waited longer because they forgot a couple of out meals. The food was great but the service and time they use up was awful.
The wait wasnt even the worst part. So we were seated after waiting forever on a Tuesday night. After finally being waved to a seat and seating ourselves the waitress comes over and ask for our drink orders. That was the the easy part. Food came sparatically. Had to ask manager and waitress multiple times for napkins and utensils. Which neither seemed to remember until I asked for maybe a fifth time. Drinks were wrong. Im not sure what I was given! Was not a Bahama Mamma. After a night of disaster and disappointment we packed up our food and left. I will never go back to this location. Not the first time Ive experienced service like that there.
Ordered a bourbon steak well done, salad and shrimp. Picked it up and and seen that the salad had one crouton, cheese and a couple of tomatoes literally on the bottom of the salad. Sent that back in for another one..Got home and cut into the steak and it was rare, pink all through the inside of the steak. Called and ask to speak to a manager, was out on hold. Waited til the phone started back ringing and someone hung up. Unprofessional and poor service. Me and my girl didnt 56 dollars all together. What a waste of money!!!!
After waiting to get in. We get to the table and no one comes to our table for over 5 minutes or longer. So we stopped and told hostess that they can clean table since nobone has come to take our order. She advised she wasnt aware and would see what was going on. She came back and said our waitress had been cut for the night and saw us and did not come over to us or send someone else to assist. She advised another waitress would be willing to assist if we wanted to goback to our table. Asked to speak with manager at this point is has been about 30 minutes as we had a wait to get in. Manager advised would comp a appetizer for our inconvenience per the hostess. We were hungry and at this point really didnt feel like going and starting over somewhere else. Our waitress for very attentive and went above to mske sure we were taken care of. Later the manager came out. Apologized for what happened and said it was unacceptable and comped our entire meal. They did a great job making uo for the intial issue.
Ordered curbside pickup. I was ok with our order coming out 15 minutes after the pickup time. Steak was cold, tough, and undercooked. It was difficult to get a knife through it. No lime came out with wonton tacos. Spinach artichoke dip seemed old and dull, near expired. French fries cooked at too low a temperature, thus soggy, white, and flaccid. The chicken tenders on the 4 cheese mac were dry and hard, and the dish had a lot of residual oil. There were food items that were done well. The 3 cheese Mac, steamed broccoli, and loaded mashed potato sides were good, as well as the bourbon street chicken and shrimp.
I want this location in order to take advantage of their half-price appetizers from 3:00 to 6:00 in the past the chicken wings with bone in them have been 25% off instead of 50. But when I went today the lady that ceded her said that she was not sure someone told her that there wasnt any special on wings that theyre aware of. I dont like uncertain answers. I want a yes or a no. So I asked the manager of the store if there was a discount on wings and he told me yes. $0.79 a piece. But one of the servers told him that they discontinued that and removed it from the computer so I was unable to order this. I would have liked a direct answer when I first came in there to ask and not 22 minutes later with no server coming to the table to even take my order. So I left. They need to work on their customer service.
Terrible. Reserved a table with a wait time of 50 mins. So I sat in parking lot and waited. Watched 2 buses pull up full of people and they all walked in and got service on spot. Even watched people who arrived after I made my reservation being seated shortly after while I still awaited for my table. When I went back to ask attendant about table. She increased my wait time to another 25-30 more minutes. This was uncalled for and how the establishment was operating last night was very unprofessional. Smdh
I wish I could give no stars .The service was absolutely horrible. Took forever just to get a straw same with table by us,the manager had to finally give them a straw and their drinks. I asked for a refill and just gave up when it never came. The appetizer was horrible . The queso dip was extremely watery and the chips were crumbs literally not one whole chip. The food took forever .placed orders just to get told 20min later the couldnt have ribs because they just started cooking them. I dont even understand that. My husband asked for a salad before his entree so did another table and we were all told they just ran out and had to prep more but yet our table and theirs both got our entrees before and they walked in same time as us after literally waiting a hour just to get a entree. Then he brings me a salad as well after were waiting on our check just leave our disappointment of a dinner. I have to tell him I didnt order one he has to change the bill because they tried to charge me. Another table we could hear upset as they were being charged for things also and another sending their awful food back ,which we shouldve too. Ours and 5 other tables in 2hours of just sitting there had complained with slower initiative to anything being done. Also the manager who took the drinks to the one table looked as spaced out as our guy server along with their cooks in the back just sucking. Dont waste your money on this overpriced wannabe chilis we only did because my husband had never had applebees and he wished he didnt now.
The food is always pretty good, drinks are good, but they always are super slow with service! They forget to bring out stuff (which I get, happens to the best of us) but if they forget as much as they did, then they should try to write down the orders. Once we had to ask the bartender to please get our checks, they then found and told our server who about 5-10min later showed up and asked if we wanted our checks. . .then we had to wait for them to go get the checks. Other then those few things its a nice place to go with friends.
Horrible service...When I stated that I did not want to sit at the bar and would prefer a table, the hostess rolled her eyes at me and said it would be a 45 minute wait. The place was basically empty. It feels great being lied to as I saw the people after me get sat at a table.
My experience was great! Me and my girlfriend shared a 2 for 27 she had ribs and I had the whiskey bacon burger. The server was on point too, she kept our drinks filled and made sure we had everything we needed. She was very kind. My only regret is that I dont remember her name to tell everyone that will read this.
Based on our experience at this Applebee’s, I feel confident in saying we will never return to another Applebee’s again. The service is super slow and food has always been cold when coming out. I have also been seeing a lot of FB posts circulating from customers claiming to have found cooked insects in their food — at this location as well as a few others. Yeah, I am not really feeling this place anymore unfortunately. Do yourself a favor and drive down to Longhorn. You won’t regret it! :)
Place was nearly empty, but it still took them 15 minutes to seat just me. Then I ordered an appetizer during the half priced hours to be told when I got my bill that my particular appetizer was not included. That information was not posted anywhere in the restaurant and not on the menu. The only sign said that a beverage purchase had to be made, which I purchased the worst tasting Perfect Margarita Ive ever had. I wont be back. Ever.
Turned away because there was an hour wait and they only had about 10 people in the restaurant. Then the waitress came and said they only have 2 waitresses. What kind of restaurant only employs 2 waitresses on a Saturday night? This place has gone down hill. I recommend you go somewhere else. Your experience will be unhappy here
Went this evening at 6:00. Seated right away and our server was very nice. Brought our drinks promptly but at 7 we were still waiting for dinner. We had been served a salad and onion ring appetizer within 30 minutes but had to request silverware and extra napkins. We asked if there was a problem in the kitchen???? Asked to speak to the manager....no manager ever appeared so we cancelled the dinner order and asked for our ticket. Manager still never appeared and the server said he couldnt find her. We paid and left.....dont plan to return. We have eaten here often and never had a problem but tonight was totally unacceptable!!!
Absolutely wonderful as always. Service was quick. Which it was late 10pm. But still had quite a bit of customers. We was seated and had appetizer within 10 minutes and food within 20 min. Waitress was presentable and very nice. Wasnt to knowledgeable over the drink bar menu prices. Prices are pretty reasonable. We used to get the 2/$20 but that has now went up. It ended up being around $60 with tip for bourbon chicken meal, 6oz steak with shrimp topping, spinach dip, and 2 long island ice teas. It was clean inside and out.
Service was good. The food was brought out in a timely fashion . The only set back was my steak had to be recooked, then it wasnt cooked any better. So the manager made another steak and it too was half cooked. The manager was apologetic and gave my daughter and I a dessert. We still had a good time there.
Staff complained around customers about working, drink orders were messed up cause we kept getting a different server when we were first seated. Food wasnt to bad just lacked flavor, and the steak wasnt cooked to the ordered preference, plating also looked like the steak was slid around the plate before the sides were plated. Overall final check was pricy for the food ordered, you can get a better meal for a better price at a actual steak house.
This place was pretty interesting. I went with some coworkers for a bridal shower on our lunch break. It may have been 10 of us. It took an hour before we got our food. The food was cold for some when it finally came out, over cooked, and did not taste good. I had a salad, and potato soup. I couldnt eat either of them because they were so salty!! I had a meeting to get back to work for, and was not able to speak with anyone about how horrible things were. I honestly do not know what happened, but this visit was not a good one for me at all.
I would like to advise everyone NOT to waste their time eating there. I ordered a shrimp Caesar salad through car side to go and nobody ever came to my car to give me my food. Once I got tired of waiting, I went inside and the service I received was terrible. Nobody greeted me at all, countless servers walked pass me and the manager walked past me multiple times. I was finally greeted but a server but she never came back to update me on my order. After 20 more minutes I spoke to the manager who still never checked on me and he who was very rude and claimed he went to go check on it but never came back. I ended up walking out empty handed and frustrated, such HORRIFIC SERVICE!!! No salad should take that long. #dobetter
Im in the store waiting on a order after sitting in the car for 30 minutes for curbside with no one coming out or answering the phone. After all of this Im still waiting on an order that should have been ready an hour ago. No Manager around to help with anything. Poor service all the way around.
I love this place, the service is pleasant and the food is great. However, I brought my vegetarian mother with me today and when she asked if anything could be made without meat they told her no. I think they should have accommodated her needs. She had to ask if there was a plain baked potato and the waitress had to see if this could be made. It’s 2019, accommodating vegetarian/vegan’s should be possible.
Got there at 7, left at 8:44. Was told I had only been waiting 26 mins for my food for the time the order was put in. They didnt count from the time we were seated till our order was taken. The mozzarella sticks were warm. All 3 burgers were burnt. Bacon was so cooked it fell apart as you picked it up. My daughter wanted grilled chicken on her salad, she got fried. The kids meal, got mac and cheese, it looked like the kind of mac and cheese that you buy for .50 a box. Was told I would get a discount and the only discount I got was the discount you get with the 22.00 deal.
Make sure you check your bill out before paying. I originally ordered an drink and then changed my mind. Waitress never removed the $9 drink. My son was charged, has a side order, something that was suppose to come with his meal $4.99. Thats a total of $13.99 overcharges. The mozzarella sticks where served barely warm, my side orders and loaded potato soup was brought after everyone had gotten their full meals and the cheese was semi warm and getting to the un-melted stage. Once we got home and I reviewed the emailed receipt, it took me 8 calls and 45 minutes to get to a manager. Who took my name and was supposed to email me a gift certificate because she said they couldnt refund. No email certificate has never arrived. at $138 total meal price for 5 people thats unacceptable way to treat a customer. Will not be eating there again.
The server was ok. He lacked on refilling my drink. He was courteous. However, I did not like him clearing the table every few minutes, just wait until guest leave to clear the table unless they as you to clear their plates or glass. The reaching over guest with dirty dishes while they are eating is not cool.
Very disappointing. Waited an hour, no food other than the drinks and soup I had ordered. We tried to be patient, but when the table next to us, that were seated about 10 minutes after we were, started to receive their food. We had had enough and requested our check to leave. That was another 10 minute ordeal along with them trying to also give us the food we had ordered. Needless to say, we no longer wanted it. If there was a manager there, they certainly seemed nonexistent. We felt terrible for the wait staff, as this appeared not to be their fault.
They where not professional. The bartender was drinking all the drinks because Our alcoholic drinks didnt have alcohol in them for a 9.00 drink but no liquor. Please. The food was cold when it came out. My friend sent her food back. The mash potatoes was cold. It was a party of 10. We were celebrating a friend Birthday. But couldnt really enjoy because of the poor service. The manager chilling and the servers texting on their phones instead of paying attention to their customers. This is a poor establishment. The bartender cant see whats shes pouring because she has all that hair in her face. What a waste of money Never again Applebees.
Applebees is really one of our favorite restaurants. In visiting this facility, ask for Mikala W. that she comes highly recommended. Such a nice and polite young lady. As an elderly person, it is really a pleasure to be respected by the younger generations and she really left a nice feeling in our hearts. I have to be honest, I just cant resist the ribs and go for them whenever we eat at a Applebees. All their facilities are consistent. I wouldnt consider Applebees as a pub, but they do have a bar.
Not the best. Server was ok, not real attentive, as was the last server when we visited. Food was ok, as well. Chicken was a little overcooked, as were the onions and mushrooms. Potatoes were flowing out over the plate like the blob, so not very appealing. I had the Caesar and asked for the dressing on the side (always a safe bet). Lettuce was ok. Just not the best Applebees Ive been to. Husband ordered 8oz sirloin, medium rare. It was more rare than medium. He had to ask for a beer at least 3x and a to-go box 3x. Best Applebees is on Airport Thruway.
This location was very awful, a group of 4 adults and a child, out waitress sucked she spent most of her time flirting with the bartender and ignoring me trying to get her attention for refills, not to mention there was a cockroach on the wall by the bathroom, which is just feet away from the kitchen, I informed our waitress so they could address the situation but st that point we were just ready to pay and leave, asked her for 2 separate checks, she brought the manager out to address us about the cockroach and he was very rude, I do not recommend this location to anyone, the people are unprofessional and very rude. We couldve made a scene about the roach but decided it was best to just let our waitress know so they could handle it and after that we were treated worse than we were to begin with.
Great service, polite staff, and the food was great. Our waitress (Channing) was excellent, very attentive, and polite, also was on it with the drink refills. The manager even walked around and checked in on tables including ours. We nearly sore off Applebees after having several bad experiences at the Airport location, however this one was wonderful, and will continue to go here instead.
This particular day I went to Applebees because Applebees was honoring veteran day and it was better and a so I took a friend that I know since he was a veteran. so I went to Applebees and the service was pretty good. He had the chicken tenders and fries and it was very delicious. I must admit even though Im not a veteran I did eat one or two of his chicken fingers besides I had to be the one to do the test taste since you never been there before..
I Went to Applebees on veterans day and received a free bacon cheeseburger. The meal was excellent and the bartender Tabitha was so nice to me. Nice enough that I went back on 11/16. Unfortunately Tabitha had already gone home. There was a middle aged bartender named John he was also really nice. I want to thank Applebees for honoring veterans like this and I intend to go back again.
Service was ok but food was not great. I had the chicken and shrimp skillet and the chicken had some overcooked spots as in tasting a little burnt. My husband had the all you can eat and the rib lets were good but when he asked for more they brought him just 3 and then he asked for shrimp and that took for ever. Server brought us the bill and he still had not gotten the shrimp. She said they didnt bring them out. She went and got them and the small plate mainly had French fries on the plate saucer and very few shrimp. We will not be going back anytime soon.
My first ever review of a restaurant...Ordered online through their website. Arrived around 5 min early from what the estimated time of completion was. Waited another 40 minutes. Yes, 40 minutes for a grand total of one hour and 10 minutes for onion rings, an order of Mac n Cheese and the Lime Chicken. I completely understand that servers can get overwhelmed, especially when it is busy. However, I waited by the carryout counter for 20 minutes before anyone even greeted me. What bothered me the most was that there was a severe lack in communication between all of the servers. The kicker, the wrong pasta was utilized for the pasta...wont be going back anytime soon.
It had been over a year since I had been to an Applebees and I was disappointed. The food was fine but nothing worth bragging about. The service was poor though. It was not crowded but it took our server an extended time to get drinks and take our order. It then took an unusual amount of time to get our food. It may have been a bad day for them but I dont plan on going back anytime soon.
Food and service were good. My son had the chicken parm which came with 2 big pieces of chicken. I had the oriental chicken salad which tasted fresh. Plenty of parking. Enough seating for large groups or one to two people. Waitress was attentive and friendly. We never had to ask for refills. One of the better Applebees.
If you like waiting over 40 minutes to receive your food & get ignored when requesting a drink refill, then this is the place for you!!!!!!! I thought coming here on a Sunday afternoon would be a good idea since they weren’t busy, boy was I wrong!!!! There is no excuse as to why the service was so bad. There weren’t a lot of customers in the restaurant. First of all, I got the wrong food brought out to me, as much as I love chicken Alfredo, I couldn’t accept that since I didn’t order it. It’s takes a really special person to confuse a cheeseburger for chicken Alfredo. Anyhow when the food finally came out it was cold & mediocre. Fortunately I was starving so I inhaled it either way. Maybe next time I’ll take my chances at Buffalo Wild Wings & wait there for subpar service & food.
I only gave it one star because it wouldnt let me post with 0...third time in a row the curbside pickup got it wrong costing me at least two trips...(also messed up our order the last two times we dined in). Do not eat here or order curbside if you cant devote the time to let them correct, correct, and re-correct your order....will never spend another dime in any of their franchises!!!
Had a Great dinner there on a Very busy night as a local College football classic was in town, and bus-loads of people were coming in. Experienced a slight delay in speed of service, but I was over all pleased with the taste & temperature of the food, as well as the courteousness of our server. I frequent this location because of the ease if access, as well as the non-existent wait time for a party of 3. Great Job!!!
I picked up an online order of oriental wraps and fries and the wrap was disappointing due to the amount of wilted lettuce. After I couple of bites I opened the wraps and the lettuce was either brown or severely wilted. It was enough to spot my appetite. Needless to say I will not be patronizing this particular Applebees again or either ordering something easier to look over prior to consuming.
Service was terrible and extremely slow it was barely anyone in there so I couldn’t understand why everything was so slow. My food came out and was ridiculously cold and the manager said it was nothing she could do about it and order something else. :) wouldn’t recommend
I go here all the time and let me just say it’s great every time!!!! My family and I have had Applebee’s for years, but the reason why we go to this particular one is because the food is great, the servers are so nice, and they treat us like we’re royalty. Even the one time we went about 30 mins before close, they still kept a positive attitude! I love Applebee’s on Gentian Blvd!
I went here with my daughter and nephew. We got there at an off hour so there werent a whole lot of people there. The first thing I noticed were all the dirty tables. The floor at one table had food coming out into the aisle. The host took up to an unclean table so we had to go back and wait. Once we were seated the waitress was really rushing us to place our order, to only take forever to come back with the food. We didnt have any silverware, we had to ask for that a few times, and to go boxes several times. She didnt refill our glass but once, even though they were empty for awhile because she didnt come back. Even though the service was bad I still gave her a good tip because I know tipping is important for servers, but I will not be going back anytime soon or ever.
Although this location was understaffed. Kennedy (assistant waiter) really soothed my birthday experience. She was humble, patient and sooo sweet! Her body language was much appreciated especially considering the condition of being understaffed. The manager assisted the waiters as best as he could and he was amazing!
I ordered takeout, showed up 18 minutes later, and then had to wait another 35 to even receive my food. They repeatedly lied to me that “they were bagging the food” and the entire time hardly had any customers. I do not recommend coming here if you’re looking for any form of service.
Terrible, thought I was going to enjoy but not. The appetizers were not half price. The waitress told me it was happy hour but it wasnt. On top of that they brought my food at separate time so I had to eat pieces at a time. Last the bartender seemed loud and rude. I will definitely not be going back to that location.
Matt our Server was the best! The kitchen staff really stepped up to the plate and handled the late crowd due to the high school homecoming that brought out a lot of students. Very pleasant experience! My hubby and I were quite pleased. Awesome Teamwork Applebees on Gentian!
We went in to this location this evening for dinner. Our waitress, cant remember her name, said she was Miss ?some name. Waited to long for our water. We ordered our meals. His came with a salad. He ordered it w/ no dressing or anything else that came on it. Apparently that would be lettuce & tomato. The waitress thought that was odd. She started to leave and decided,it would be appropriate to be familiar and touch, no gently rub his arm. After a little over 15 minutes still no salad. We tried to get her attention. When she finally did stop, after flagging her down she said shed be right back with his salad and started to rush off without allowing us to say anything. We had to stop her again we ordered drinks. We finally became discussted and walked out. No one noticed.
Just left Applebee’s on Gentian and safe to say will not return ... first time in my 65 years I did not leave a tip ! Ordered a vodka martini , no vermouth, with olives .. received a slightly dirty martini ( was not bad) until I noticed lipstick on the side of the glass !!! I was NOT wearing lipstick !!!! Showed the server ( we were sitting at the bar ). She apologized and made another .. she did not make the first one .. this one was half olive juice / .. ugh !!! As again did not order a dirty martini , so , brought this to her attention.. asked for a shot of vodka to get rid of intens olive taste, was able to drink it, was afraid to request new one at this point. Had ordered appetizers, when brought out she handed plate to my husband who pretty much burned hand as plate was piping hot, was not advised of this by server... no plates for apps, had to request napkins... the mozzarella sticks were void of cheese ! Could only laugh at this point ! The worst restaurant experience ever !!! Not certain server , who was very polite, nice. Knew what she was doing ? Maybe no experience?? Did not request manager as husband was upset enough... so just left after paying for the worst experience in this town ! And yes, the chicken taco apps were very good , have had them there before , did eat the coating with a smidge if cheese as was very hungry .. had those before and they were very good, had cheese in them !!! Suffice it to say we will look for another place close by to go to 🙁
The food was good, service not so good. The waitress only came by once to refill our tables. I had to ask another waiter for a refill. When we got there I had told the young lady that I was paying for both tables. When she came with the bill, and me paying, she said there was a problem. She had got the bills switched up by mistake and needed to see my card. And, that the manager would be out to sort things out. But, I had paid with cash. Now, my daughters boyfriend had also paid for there desserts and Appetizers with a card. I clearly said, I would pay for both tables, but he was charged also. Later she returned without the manager and said it was all clear. I paid a $80 something bill for 6 people, one was a kids meal. Plus, whatever my daughter boyfriend paid.
Friday night two days before Christmas, seated, served, and checked on by wait staff. The service and servers where swamped, but totally pulled it off. You can pay at your table with the portable pay kiosks. And there was an extended happy hour for those who enjoy the malted beverages. 4 star rated for service, atmosphere and cost.
I placed an online order @ 450p and my order being done @511p. I got at the restaurant @ 515 and have been sitting in the parking lot all this time. I literally just watched 3-4 people walk in and walk out with their food. The server came out over 3 times but was confused every time he came out. Some people have gotten out their cars in anger to walk in. I understand its a holiday but I wish that customers would get an accurate time to arrive. Its 6:24 I just got my food after going there demanding my refund because it is ridiculous for the times Ive sat here waiting for my food. One of the guy says hell give me a refund for the full amount and hell give me the food on the house. I wanted to reach out to Applebees restaurants management about the situation and how ridiculous and unacceptable this is.
So applebees used to be awesome 10 years ago. They have went downhill a lot in recent years. The quality of the food isnt what it used to be. The store isnt very clean anymore. It just seems a little run down. My husband and I both ordered boneless wings and recieved them cold. The plate and celery were hotter than the wings. The mozzarella sticks were good temperature wise and tasted as expected. The best food item we ordered were the wonton tacos. Besides being messy, they are very good. We probably wont go back to this location and will probably just keep going to chilis.
This place was horrible. Serivce was horrible. It took 10 mins to get a sweet tea. When we got them they had stuff floating all in the glass. She took those came back 10 mins later with more and our appetizer. After eating on out appetizer for about 15 mins she approaches grabs the appetizer and takes it. Says ill be back with your other food. Didnt ask if we where done. The food was nasty cold rubbery and greasy. Oh when she bring the food out we had no silverware yet either. Took her about 8 mins to bring any.
The hostess seemed frazzled and unsure about what she was doing. She almost sat arriving parties out of order. There seemed to be some confusion as to who our server was supposed to be, it took a long time for our food to come out, and of course it was lukewarm at best. The server was nice throughout it all and Ive come to rank Applebees just above fast food joints, so my expectations are lower.
WORSE SERVICE EVER...Sat at the bar and it was obvious they only cater to REGULAR PATRONS making everyone else feel non-existent (TIFFANNIE bar attendant). Let alone attempt in having your needs met by the staff without having an attitude when the service is not up to par. We had 1 drink out of 2 as my Fiancee couldnt tolerate how rude we were treated but worse of all how uncomfortable we were made to feel.Thank but no thanks, well take our business to SAPOS were the food is 10x better and a drink is a real drink and not a CAPR SUN.
Waited 30 minutes for appetizers, almost an hour for a cup of lemons for a 6 person party that ordered sweet tea. My boyfriend and I ordered the Caesar salad for our appetizer, which is drenched in dressing and pre-tossed, so it comes to the table soggy and tasting of nothing but Caesar dressing.We had about three different waitresses and all of them were all over the place, so we had to wait 10-15 minutes in between each one tending to us. I can honestly say that this is perhaps some of the worst service Ive ever received at an Applebees.
I did curbside pickup they told me it would be 30 minutes and it takes us 30 minutes to get there, but we ended up sitting outside for 45 minutes and they still forgot some of our food after we drove 30 minutes home and found out. We called them and told them that some of our food was missing and the only thing they did was send us a $15 gift card when we was missing about $25 worth of our food.
I used to absolutely love Applebees, but feel like the food quality has declined. I ordered to pick up at a certain time and still had to wait 20 minutes after I got there. And some of my food that should have been warm or hot was cold or almost cold. Has happened twice in 2 months.
I have to say that this was some of the best service Ive gotten in a long time. I work at a restaurant and work late. I showed up with my husband to eat 30 mins before closing. I apologise because I know how it feels to be closing soon and customers order.Our waiter Matt was absolutely awesome. He was so professional and made us feel very welcomed.We ordered the 2 for $25. We got the 8oz steak with steamed veggies.. I would like to say that the steak was cooked to profection, the temp was perfect and it melted in your mouth. And the veggies were grilled and seasoned perfect.I had to brag due to the fact that you dont find very many restaurants around Columbus any more that offer great service, professional staff, and skilled cooks. I would rate my experience as a 10 if I could.Great job Apple Bees.
By far the worst experience ever! My waitress is literally avoiding me as we speak.... My order is completely screwed up. Normally this restaurant is amazing!! However today the staff is dry and lazy. I’ve been here over 100 times however this will be my very last visit!!
Waited 15 minutes after being seated to have server approach table. He took our entire order, drinks, appetizer, and entrees. Brought drinks, just tea and water in about 5 minutes. But when our appetizer(chips and queso) had not came out after 30 minutes, we walked out. Poor mangement.
Not the greatest experience. Our appetizer came to the table over cooked, and by the time our server came back around- the appetizer was cold. I had to ask for silverware and plates because he failed to bring them to us in the first place. We ordered a second appetizer that never came to the table. This was my first and last time at this location.
We werent greeted for awhile upon entering the restaurant. The waitress looked at us and walk right passed us at first. Once she came up to us, we asked to be seated in a certain booth (there were several empty ones available) she said, no, because there is a birthday party going on. We didnt see anything going on. She sped away and was gone for a minute. We watched her walk all over the restaurant. When she came back our way another waitress asked, whats the problem? The troubled waitress explained the issue about how she could not seat us in the area. The waitress then said, Ill take care of them, go ahead and seat them! Were standing and waiting all of this time and still dont know why. There was no party going on nor did one come. Sn: Do not try the apple fritter. There are NO apples in this dessert!
Typing this as I stand inside waiting for my ‘car side to go’ order placed well over an hour ago. Restaurant is practically empty. Not sure why it would take so long to prepare a fairly straight forward meal. Personnel are friendly hence two stars. Here on business and will avoid this place for the remainder of my trip.
Made a call in order, back in December ordered a full rack of ribs for my mom. Got home and paid for full only received half. Called talked to the bar who took my order he talked to the manager they were going to send a gift certificate for the difference. Lets just say I never saw it they wouldnt credit my card. This is one place I will not be back to.
I was at this location on Friday night at 8 pm. They were not even busy, no wait time. Sat at the table for about 12 minutes with no server that had came to greet us, no drinks.. however who would’ve been our server made eye contact and stared but never said one word to us. So we walked out. Service sucks
Did an online order for pickup as I was craving there boneless wings. Once we got home we realized none of the plates had the sides they were supposed to come with. I love the boneless wings but these were extremely dry and tasted horrible. My child normally loves the grilled cheese sandwiches but this one was leaking oil and was soggy. Even my wives tortilla soup was a disappointment. Overall worst experience with this applebees, hopefully it was a one time disaster.
Horrible service... walked inn a pregnant lady was sitting by the door (thought it was a costumer) took her about 5 minutes to ask how many? ... got seated .. the server (kendra) took about 10 minutes to get to us.. brougt drinks and we have to use the machine to call her for the straws.. she got mad and took the machine away.... apetizers arrive, no napkins or silverware where delivered.... food arrive, drinks are not replenish, still no silverware... i would it walked out the first 10 minutes the straws where missing but my party didnt wanted to leave... when the lady in plaid shirt ask us, everyting ok? in our best sarcastic voice we reply whith a long, SUUUUUUUUREEEEE, OF COUUURRSEEE? she didnt got the message.. horrible place no one cares... this was last night..
When we got there, they took a very long time to serve us and the place was empty. The Salad was horrible. The had bad attitude. And it was way to expensive for what we ordered and got it wrong. When we went to pay we said $20 on a card and $10 on the other, the lady did the opposite cards. Never going there again!!! Don’t recommend at all!!!
I have learned not to expect much when I go to any Applebee’s. But I have had a pretty bad experience all three times I’ve visited this location. Every time I’ve been here, the staff has been completely different. The food was mediocre as usual. With the exception of the apple cheese cakes desert. That was pretty darn good. And the server “Jess” was pretty good on this trip.
This was a quiet meeting with colleagues. The lighting and temperature were on point. The best about the experience is when the manager saw my Bourbon chicken and shrimp and make a recommendations of what sauce that would compliment it. I tried it. He was on point.Thank you
We had to wait 30 minutes just to get out drink order. Food took about an hour and when it came, the server had to go back for silverware, which took another 10 minutes. My drink was only refilled once and I was there for 2 hours. I wont return to this Applebees, if I ever eat at another one period!
Not good services at all. Disappointed with how none of the waitresses even acknowledge me. When I finally got someone to notice me she came an she wasnt no better than two that saw just before her. This establishment wasnt busy at all. Still I had to wait over 30 mins.
Completely messed up my whole carside to go order. I ordered the two for twenty . Cheese sticks , cedar grilled lemon chicken and the honey chicken pasta . And what they gave me was some chips and guacamole some shrimp , which my friend is allergic to and then some sausage and potatoes. It was suppose to be ready for pickup at 8:17 it’s now 8:42 I’m still waiting on them to correctly cook my order .
It was the most worse place and experience I ever had the food the service and drink was awful disgusting I will tell all of my friends and families in town and out and social media and even local news and national news never ever go to any applebees in the United states for even water or the bathroom or even take out or even ask for directions in any city or state your chains should be closed for ever never to exist anymore

A little bit noisy with all the people but still an enjoyable meal. My chicken was really good. Wife and Mom got steak, said they were okay. Daughter liked the Cheeto wings.

2022-01-24The restaurant was freezing the whole time I was there. I thought that the heater was broken or turn off. My party of 7 as well as other guests complain about the cold. One of my fellow party members complain about the cleanliness of the womens bathroom to one of the employees and receive a laugh rather than being told that they will take care of it. I was told that all the stalls were dirty and there were no paper towels. The service was terrible. Too much time was taken for the waitress to check on us, refill our drinks. We watch her visit other tables and the bar, but never our table until, food was brought from the kitchen. I ordered a house side salad and soup and it took over 30 minutes to get my salad. I am glad that I didnt order anything else. The last time, I visited applebees was three years ago, and my experience this time was even worst. I have no desire to return. I thought about giving zero tip, however in the end I decided to leave a 15% before tax tip. She should be grateful, she got anything tonight. The hostess, seem to be new as well, and needs more training, on seating first come, first serve, especially when the restaurants tables are 60% empty.

2022-07-09I was so disappointed. I go there fairly often as its close to home, but this time I was surprised, 1st we were left standing at the hostess stand for at least 5 mins while they stood around talking, which is unusual cause they are usually right there to greet you. Our waitress Caitlyn was very nice and did the best she could. Everything was fine with our appetizers especially the pretzels!! But with our food, thats a whole different thing. My son and I had steaks done med, they were both cooked well done and were very very dry. My daughter had wonton which didnt come with our food hers came bout 15mins later AFTER we brought it to our waitress attention that ppl coming in after us had gotten theres already 😒. I left most of my meal there and I never do that. We talked to the manager and he took our steaks off the bill but I left hungry. Im really disappointed cause thats always been my go to spot when family visits from outa town. Hopefully it was a one time thing.

2022-02-08Update: 2/7/22 the manager called me to rectify the situation. He took my concerns serious and apologized for the inconvenience. Instead of 1 star, I’ll rate 3 just off of the managers great customer service skills. Thank you Dennis.Went to this location 2/6/22 and while the wait time was short for my to go order, the young lady who brought me my food didn’t speak, smile or acknowledge me saying thank you to her. She simply handed me my food and went right back in the building. So much for good customer service. When I got home and opened up my container of the blonde pecan cake, pecans were already all over the container, when previously ordering from here and the location on Airport, the pecans came in a little cup just like the icing does. However, no big deal. When I went to get a piece of the cake, it was hard to slice. I put it in the microwave and it still remained hard. So now I’m wondering does this location serve old food or do they just not care about quality. I will not return to this location to order anything, I’ll just drive further out to the airport location. If I could give 0 stars I would. I will be reaching out to corporate as well.

2022-03-25Me and my lady friend had a great time there. Server was attentive and well mannered. My friend raved over the prime rib sandwhich she had, I myself was not as impressed with the macaroni and cheese (but Im a bit snobby about my mac) they made but the honey pepper chicken tenders were excellent. Overall much better experience then the train wreck that is the Applebees located at The Landings.

2022-04-15Out of ALL the Applebees I’ve been to, this is hands down by FAR, the worst one. Absolutely ridiculous, it’s been “understaffed with 2 waiters” for the last 2 months. The woman at the door absolutely does nothing and has no service skills. Rude and inattentive. The manager asked her why she wasn’t bringing silverware upfront and she acted clueless. This has been the second trip that was ridiculous. The place stinks, the people don’t care, the tables were dirty, I don’t understand how they stay open. Reading reviews I see the company doesn’t seem to care as there’s been no effort to change it or invest in their people. Applebees you absolutely suck at this location. Do something.
