After a lengthy hiatus with swim lessons due to the pandemic, my daughter recently began going back to at Aquatots. After she decided she was Michael Phelps in our community pool this summer I knew it was time to go back to hone in on her water safety skills.During our first lesson back she was VERY apprehensive and at one point she was in tears. Coach Seema was patient with her, and eventually BOOM(!) she was listening and participating. Helen, the general manager, kept me out of tears and coached me through the experience of newbie kiddos and even offered to do a walk around the pool to confirm my daughter was OK (some times it’s hard to watch our kids struggle and do “hard things”).We even came back for another lesson a few days later with Coach Keith who my daughter also loved!Honestly, the above and beyond assistance and renewed confidence in my daughter’s water safety skills are worth EVERY PENNY!
I have had my grandson enrolled with Aqua-Tots for four years, since he was about 9 months old. The coaches, the management, the staff are all extremely nice and work with my grandsons parents on schedules and make-ups all of the time. He is an unbelievable swimmer and loves the pools! It was hard for him for the first 3-4 visits, but since then he loves his swim lessons and they work with him at his level. Classes are never too large and all of the coaches that he has had are great! And Mike has been his coach, as well as running the whole shop. He cares about each and every child and tries to make sure that each child and parent get their moneys worth and that the kids love swimming when they leave.
My experience with this place is nothing but exceptional. We spend couple of months with a competitor and wasted our money. After the third class at Aqua-tots our daughter started to swim by herself and most importantly she loved being there. The instructors are excellent, the level of care and love they put into teaching these kids is worth every penny you pay. The staff is well mannered and very helpful. We recommend this place to everyone who wants their child to learn swimming in a fun, friendly swim school. Ten stars from us!!
We started our son at Aqua-Tots at 5 months old and it was one of the best decisions we ever made! He’s 4 now and has become an extremely confident and strong swimmer. The staff and coaches are great and show how much they truly care about each individual’s success. We are already planning on getting our newborn son enrolled soon.
I really appreciate the manager dave to circle back with us and solving our concerns and issues. He really sounded professional and took care of our needs. Love this place. I do recommend this place. The staff is very understanding and willing to work with the schedule that we have as parents. I’m personally full time working mom so it’s very challenging. So far my experience been amazing. I’m very happy to say the customer service is truly exceptional. Professional and patience and willing to work with you.The two reason I’m giving 4 star one is because they don’t have shower available for kid after swimming class. I hope for the future the owner take consideration and do improvement and build shower. As kid I always had to shower right away with soap and shampoo before getting in car for safety and hygiene.Second reason the lesson is ONLY 30 min which is extremely short time. It has to be at least 40-45 minutes and honestly when there is three kid’s in class then really each kid getting like 10 min to 15 per training. Hopefully they will add more time without raising the cost to be more fair
My 3 year-old was mortified the first couple of classes, but the coaches do such an astounding job of putting the kids at ease and engaging them in the lessons. Within a couple of weeks, he couldn’t stop talking about swimming lessons and was so excited for his next class. Above all, he’s learning so much, so quickly!! What an amazing program with a fantastic, clean facility. They also have great options for any budget or schedule, and are super accommodating with make-up classes. I can’t express enough how impressed I am, I only wish I started my son sooner. Recommend highly, without any reservation!
I am looking for -ve if there is any possibility to give one. They have been so inconsistent with their classes, it’s just been appalling. Of the 4 private lesson which by the way do end up being expensive they cancelled 3 and still expect to be given a 30 day notice if you want to leave and hence ask you to pay for the next 4 classes. They keep adding classes to the makeup classes without providing a makeup slot. Even though the classes has been cancelled because of issue on their end they take no accountability and expect the parents to keep following up for an availability. Really very disappointing. I was very exciting about these guys reading their reviews and even ended up taking a 30 min drive one way. But it is ending really bad. Unfortunate.
The staff is amazing. They are patient with the children but willing to push them to be better. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. I am so excited that we chose this location. P.S. Coach Taylor is the best
We started her swimming lessons at the age of 2 and a half on a weekly bases. My daughter has had many coaches at Aqua Tots as she has grown her skills. She enjoys learning to swim and reminds us every week that today is her day to swim. The staff is really friendly and always have treated each child with care.
My son and daughter take classes here. I find it hard to find the right teachers, but when you do, theyre great. The establishment and setup are really great. It is easy to cancel or reschedule which as a busy parent is very nice. It is easy to check in. The kids take a quick shower after being in the pool. Its Nice to have private changing areas and lockers if need one. There are snacks that are affordable at the front that you can charge right to your account. The temperature of the air and pool are also great. I love the little play area and tv and especially love how I can watch while my kid(s) are in the water.
My son has been going to Aqua-Tots swim school for one year and we absolutely love it! They do a very good job of keeping the environment clean and organized. All of the staff members are very friendly and do a wonderful job of making the kids feel comfortable and encouraged. My son has learned so much here, and he is always looking forward to his next lesson!Ethan’s mom.
This is a REAL review, from a REAL mommy. We have been to other swim schools, and this is by far the best one for my child. My son loves this swim school. He always looks forward to going to class. The school is clean, the staff is friendly. The pool area always looks clean and is warm. My son doesnt feel stressed and overwhelmed like he did at his previous school, but continues to make progress. I highly recommend Aqua-Tots!
I was thrilled when they put an Aqua-tots in Alpharetta! I had heard great things and really wanted a facility close to my home! My 5 year old daughter has accomplished more here in 4 and 1/2 weeks than we have in the past three years in 6 to 8 week classes at different programs. We are thrilled she is happy comfortable and loves the lessons and looks forward to swimming like a mermaid as she says each week! The instructors are fabulous they placed in the level she needed after assessment and she is excelling each week! Highly recommend to anyone that hasnt had the success they desired! Great facility!
When our 4 year old started lessons, he could not swim at all, but Aqua Tots taught him to swim in about 2 months. They start kind of slow to ensure the kids are learning correctly and move them up levels as they master each level. I was honestly hoping that they would just throw him in and he would know how to swim after 3 lessons, but they are very methodical and consistent with their approach, and I started to understand that it was the right approach once he began swimming good. The instructors are mostly young, very good swimmers, that seem to be great with kids and very enthusiastic.
Our experience at Aqua Tots has been wonderful. The staff was so welcoming and educating as we were looking for swim lessons for our daughter. They continue to be helpful and really show tremendous customer service skills. The swim teachers interact well with the children and provide informative feedback as how each child is doing. We are very pleased with our Aqua Tots experience and our daughter is excited every week to go to swim class.
We love AquaTots in Alpharetta GA.if was a great experience for my son.His instructors were wonderful class scheduling could be a bit tough at times but do the Covid-19well understood. Over all we would definitely recommend parents take their children. 😊😊😊
Great environment, clean and comfortable. I feel like my son is supported and the staff have been welcoming and helpful. We’ve only been to Aquatots for 1 lesson but expect that this experience will continue through the summer. After his first lesson, my son was excited to show off what he learned and has asked to go swimming every day! We’re looking forward to the next lesson.
My kids love it. The pool is really warm and instructors are great with making the kids comfortable in the pool. Lessons are only a half hour, so if it’s your only pool you may want a longer lesson somewhere.
I enrolled my son the opening week of the center. I have already seen significant improvement. The instructors are well trained as I have watched the Master Trainer train the employees. The coaches are not just teenagers who wing it. They have a curriculum and work hard to make sure each student masters each skill before they can progress to the next level. I highly recommend this swim center
Our 4yo is enrolled and we have been very impressed with the facility and most importantly, the staff. The front staff is friendly and very helpful. The coaches are fantastic! Patient and encouraging yet firm. They completely understand childrens (and parents) anxiety when first starting out. Our son is in his 4th week of lessons and has improved so much!

My 4 year old son LOVES coming to swim lessons twice a week at Aqua Tots Alpharetta. The instructors are great and the staff are super helpful and friendly. Hes progressed quite a bit in his skills in just 4 weeks of lessons!
Aqua Tots has been THE place my daughter looks forward to visiting and wants to go there every day. I am very impressed with their staff and their way of teaching. One more thing that I would like to mention is the flexibility in scheduling swimming lessons. The facilities is very clean and neatly maintained. The coaches and management are all amazing! They are encouraging, build confidence and keep going even when kids are hesitant. Professional & knowledgeable. Its super clean, upbeat and our swimming lesson center of choice for our kids.
My 2 year old started her first lesson in level 3. and on her first day the teacher had two kids with my daughter included. she fell in the water twice and if my husband had not knock on the window she didnt even notice .
The approach they use to teach safety skills alongside swimming skills is awesome. The coaches go above and beyond to make our whole family feel comfortable. The flexibility (make-up sessions that never expire) is also great!

We enrolled our 16 month old daughter, and we love it so far! She started out very fearful of the water and now she is excited and happy to get in the pool. Its reassuring to know that she is learning boundaries and techniques to keep her safe around water. The instructors are very patient and friendly.
My 8 year old son attends lessons on Saturday at tbe Alpharetta location, I cant say enough positive words about the facility and staff. I love the student-teacher ratio, the fact there is great supervision, and that the staff knows my son. The teaching techniques are great as there are games to motivate the kids the try the activitits and develop their ability to swim.I am very happy with his progress and that he is learning skills that will be with him for a lifetime. The location of the school is good and the staff is very friendly. My 2 year old twins have been going here for approx 3 months now and we all love it. The staff - from the front desk to the teachers are fantastic! They made sure we were all comfortable as we knew they were going to cry in the beginning, to now where they are having a blast. The place is clean, the staff is great, and parking is easy. Highly recommended!
We have all four of our kids enrolled here and they all love it! They are very patient and have great teachers. They even accommodated or family and got all four kids into lessons at the same time slot (despite being different skill levels). Small class size too, so theres plenty of attention for each kid.
Aqua-Tots Alpharetta has been a great place for my daughter to learn swimming. The coach was great and were patient enough to remove her fear and make classes fun. I would surely recommend this.It would be great if they can remain open on Sundays too.☺
This place is amazing. Class sizes are 4:1, the teachers are patient and great< especially with the kid who wont stop screaming the first time he has to get in the pool. That was my son! I thought that I was going to have to pull him out but by the 3rd lesson he was excited to go and so relaxed that not only did they get him to float on his back but he was so relaxed I thought he was going to doze off! The staff is VERY attentive, they give you ways to help your kid at home to support what they have learned and you get a report on their progress every time you come in for your next lesson. The space is nice and big with plenty of seating and tables for older kids to do homework and a play area to entertain younger kids. They even have free wi-fi so I can get work done if I have to. Cant say more about this place.
We have had both our children enrolled for the last few weeks and the kids are loving it! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The instructor to students ratio is small which is great for one on one instruction. Looking forward to more classes!
Friendly place for kids indoor Swim lessons. The staff and trainers are very friendly with kids, their patience level is high. If possible try to avoid Saturday morning classes for infants and toddlers as it gets very busy and noise with lot of kids in the pool for training.
They do a fantastic job of teaching swimming to toddlers and babies. The max class size sends to be 4 but it rarely seems to be more than 3 when our daughter is there. They get personal attention this way and lots of positive reinforcement from the coaches.
Absolutely brilliant place to have your toddler learn to swim. The staff are highly knowledgable and patient with the little ones. A great, friendly and secure environment that teaches your child some independence in the pool as well as being responsible.
As a former collegiate swimmer (a very old one ) I have assessed all the swim instructions. offerings in ATL. While there are many good ones Aqua Tots is extraordinary! My 8 year old son really enjoys learning swimming. Staffs are very kind and they have very flexible schedule for the make-up. I am so glad to find the indoor swim school in Alpharetta area.
The instructors are knowledgeable, patient and warm hearted. They stay on task and have a wide variety of activities to keep little ones occupied and engaged throughout their lesson. The facility is well run and always clean. We are newcomers and have had a very positive experience overall!
If you dont want to develop Water phobia in your child - dont go to this place! My 19-months old son loved swimming before, but after 3 visits there, he is now crying when he sees water. One of the instructors was very rude, not professional, was forcing my son into the water despite him crying. Very unpleasant experience!

Our experience has been nothing but great! The customer service is amazing and we are always greeted by friendly staff. Coach Heather has continued to progress our daughter in her swimming capabilities and push her to higher levels.
We just finished up our first month of swimming lessons for our 23 month old and it has been wonderful! He has learned so much and gotten so much more comfortable in the water. We are def continuing with the lessons...
Our daughter started swim classes just last week and already shes improved and has lost her fear of the water. The staff and teachers are all wonderful!
Mike, the manager is great - he comes around to the parents and makes sure everyone is doing well and asks if we have any concerns. The swim instructors are amazing - they work great with the kids, especially if they are scared.
Just in one less I was much more please with the lessons than I was at other places we had taken at before. Much more organized and geared towards children. Instructors seem happy to be there and engage the children well. Definitely recommend.
I love Aqua-tots!!!! I signed up my daughter about two weeks ago and she loves it!!! The staff and instructors are great!!! Everyone is so friendly and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome!!!!

I have a 8 month old enrolled in Miss Heathers class and she absolutly LOVES it! Miss Heather is AWESOME!! She is so sweet and so informative. We love this class and look forward to it every week. I would highly recommend Aqua Tots Alpharetta :)
Coach Heather is great. My son loves going to his lessons. At the end of each lesson he always asks to come back later. Just booked his birthday party there. Cant wait!!

Every staff member here is very funny, the coach is very professional, my two babies are here to learn, the 4-year-old Zoe is very afraid of water, and now they will swim a little under the guidance of their patience, every week. 2022-06-18Started off well enough with our 3 year old but quickly went downhill. Staff was constantly leaving/rotating and our kiddo never had a chance to feel comfortable with any instructor. They also have a mantra they kids get upset and they will work through it. Unfortunately, we’ve had multiple instructors now either call someone else to pull our kiddo out of the pool after 5 minutes or at the end of the class say, “your kid doesn’t like me, find someone else” and this will be at the first lesson with them. We’ve been paying for 9 months and should’ve canceled after the first 3. We’ve consistently had the same class times but the inconsistency has really soured any goodwill. I’d love to recommend them and personally find many of the staff to be friendly but I’d strongly recommend anyone looking for a swim school to avoid this location

2022-03-04The instructors seem nice and friendly (we have only completed one class). However, this review pertains to communication… we signed up online and I thought we would receive some sort of welcome call or email from the school advising of policies, offer for a tour, and what to expect for our first day. That never came. When we arrived for our first class they were not aware we were new and I had to explain. Also, since my daughter is little and she has never taken swim I thought it was a mommy and me class. This could have been my fault, but a welcome call and tour could have cleared that up. In addition, I sent an email the week before asking some questions about tuition. No response. I left a voicemail about possibly changing classes early this morning and again, no response yet.We chose this school because of the excellent reviews, but based on the communication we are ready to go somewhere else.

2022-06-06Swim instructor for level 1 class didn’t seem to know what she was doing. She gave no instructions and everyone performed things differently, and she gave no support or knowledge to the parents.Also, I tried to cancel my sons classes and was given no information that I would have to fill out a 30 day notice. I was charged for another month and they refused to give me a refund after not informing me that there were documents for me to fill out in order to process the cancellation. Would not recommend this class to anyone or this facility.

2022-05-02The services provided at Aquatots swim school are excellent. My granddaughter is now at level 6 and enjoys her swim lessons. The coaches are well trained and provide excellent instruction. Coach Irina is an outstanding instructor. The General Manager, Helen, is attentive to customer needs and feedback and frequently checks with parents that everything is going ok. The girls on the front desk are very pleasant and efficient at scheduling classes and answering any questions or concerns. I gave a rating of 9 out of 10 because I am not totally in agreement with their billing policy. Aquatots will bill you even if they are closed, such as Easter Week, and the onus is on the customer to arrange a make-up class, which isnt always convenient. Also, recently we showed up for a class and were told the class was cancelled due to incorrect chlorine levels. We were told we need to schedule a make-up class. My feelings are that if the customer cancels then the onus is on the customer to arrange the make-up. However, if Aquatots are responsible for the class being cancelled they should offer the option of a refund. And they definitely shouldnt bill for days when they are closed.

2022-05-08One 30 min class per week with 3-4 kids which means ur kid getting 7-8 min per class and the cost is $110 that translates to $110 for 30min class to me very very costly. Not to mention one lady in the front desk shows you the attitude if you want to scheduled for makeup classes which I have rights to get because i paid for it. I gave 3 rating only for another lady in the front desk and she is really nice and she clarify my queries very promptly.

2018-11-29A good location to have your child learn the swimming. Instructors are fantastic, they try their best to provide full training. Only issue is that 30 min is not enough per session that has one instructor for 4 students. It takes 2-3 min to start and they finish 2-3 min before. So each student hardly gets to learn in approx 6-7 min per session. It took one year for our daughter to graduate from Level 3 to 4. If you can have a personal training, it would be fantastic with higher fees.

This location has great synergy amongst the coaches that transforms into productive classes and targeted results that build on each session! 2021-10-29We are sooooo happy with AT. Our son Walter comes in 3xs a week and he just keeps getting better and better. He is so comfortable with all of his coaches and if I need to reschedule they always give us a future make-up session. We have no doubt he’ll be ready for the pool when our clubhouse opens!
