If there is a no star option I would choose it.We bought a breakfast set from a different location we were told the whole set is available however we received the final piece 7 month later.We repeated the same mistake and went to Ashley again but a different location. We bought a living room set. Again we were told that all pieces are in stock. The day before delivery they said the small sofa is out of stock. On the delivery day the guys found damage in the bigger sofa. Now I only have a section and an ottoman of the set nothing else.I chatted with a rep online and he told me that I am getting everything in 6 days. Then I received an email from Ashley telling me that they will deliver only the small sofa.It is our fault, we went to Ashley again.
Bought a full bedroom set and matching dining set a couple weeks ago. I purposely bought stuff IN STOCK as I needed the furniture for a family event. I just received a call from the Warehouse that said most of the items I ordered are now backordered and they dont know when theyll be back in stock. They only have 3 chairs associated with my entire order! I then asked how that was possible, since the Sales Rep and Website said they were in stock (which I checked the website today and still shows in stock) so apparently they lie about their inventory. I understand with Covid there are a lot of supply issues, but lying and saying you have these items in stock, having me pay for it, and then saying theyre backordered and dont know when youll ever get these items is disgusting. Could be weeks or months from now. I regret buying with Ashley.
Ive bought 10s of thousands of dollars of furniture at this store and for the most part Ive been happy with the service and the quality of their products. However, lately I learned the hard way to NEVER again pay for the GBS protection plan they always insist you buy to protect your purchase. This is a fraudulent company that hides behind small print and always finds a way to not offer any protection. I have had two claims that were obvious and should have been covered, but the offshore representative for GBS told me simply that even though the stiches split at the seams on my storage bench or the resin weave on my patio furniture has cracked and split and fallen apart its not covered..
Today I spoke with Ashlyn who was very professional and exceeded my expectation of customer service. I have been having issues since January 2022 with a purchase I made. No one at this location seem to be able to resolve my issue until today. Ashlyn jumped right in and resolved my issue in less than 20 minutes.Thank you Ashlyn!
The furniture we purchased is scheduled for delivery next week. This review is strictly regarding the positive experience we had purchasing the furniture from Ashley Home Store. Kristine Hoy was personable and professional, knowledgeable and helpful in arranging the best possible outcome for us. I would recommend her to anyone as a sales representative. She is the reason we will shop at Ashley Home Store again!
Don’t buy anything from this store. Horrible corporate customer service. Purchased all whole bedroom set which was expensive. One item came in early so I waited for everything to come in together so I could set up bedroom. Since the 7 day policy expired on that one item, now I can’t return. Other items came in on Friday, 10/8 and I went to store on Monday, 10/11 with item to return - they should had consider those dates due to items arriving with different dates. But no, they were rude and horrible customer service. Explain to me, how do you except to mount a mirror on a dresser if I don’t have the dam dresser, really….I need a mattress too now and they just lost “ALL” my future business!!! Fun how - They were super friendly and helpful while purchasing over $2k in furniture but now, I was on hold 3 separate times over 25 minutes each and kept getting disconnected. Just horrible. Don’t bother going to this furniture store. Please take my advise - it’s not worth the trouble !!!! I rather pay more $$ and get better customer service. That lady was just rude!
They buying experience went very well. The sales person was attentive and knowledgeable and easy to talk with. The price points for our purchase were competitive and we found what we were looking for that day. It will be delivered in a couple of weeks. I will post again about the delivery process, the quality, and how the furniture looks in our home.
Have not received the product yet so will probably edit this post later. Do your homework as Ashley will match competitive pricing. For instance, their price on the set I got was 2700 (no delivery or protection plan), got it for 1800 which includes delivery and furniture protection plan. They were more than willing to adjust the price, didnt seem too bothered by it so they must be still making a good margin.
Great bed, very deceptive service. We purchased a mattress and base a couple of weeks back. Before finalizing, I asked multiple times if the bed this new one would replace could be taken away at the time of delivery. Each time, the associate assured me that it wouldnt be a problem. He even added a line item on the ticket called Remove sanitary bedding only and explained that as long as what we currently had was sanitary, the people who deliver could take it. Fast forward two weeks. When the delivery truck arrived, I was informed that they could only take our old mattress and could NOT take our box spring. I called Ashley and got a manager on the phone. He would contact the trucks dispatch to sort it out. Long story short, the truck couldnt take it because there was not a line item on the ticket specifically for the box spring. I called the Ashleys manager back and even immediately paid a personal visit to the store. Due to how they have third-party companies deliver their products, I apparently will have to wait a week or more for a simple response about whether or not the box spring can be picked up. I was told that I should have been more clear with the associate and specify that I wanted the box spring to be taken, too. Apparently, bedding refers to mattresses but not box springs. That disclaimer would have been appreciated up front. Oh, and I was given a nice list of area non-profits to call and inquire about free box spring pick-up, because Ashley cant be troubled to do what they deceived me into thinking they would do at the time of purchase. With our new bed and few more reviews of their terrible service, Ill sleep really well tonight.
Pathetic sales process. I can go on and on how Disappointed I am in the sales process and lack of interest on behalf of the sales staff. I called to share my feelings (76 in line on hold). A very disinterested woman called me back from corporate. I said I was calling the local store trying to get a hold of a manager. She said I would have to call back. Not hardly am I waiting for 76 calls ahead of me. No thank you - your loss!
In store experience was great! After that a complete nightmare, Ashley’s out sources both delivery and furniture repair and the third parties ruining their brand. You can not get through to contact anyone at the store, so if you have an issue you have to go back to the store. I am currently dealing with checking the status of gift cards that were to be sent for purchase of mattress. So save yourself the headache and somewhere else.
The WORST experience I have ever had. Product backordered for over a year, which we were not told after are first order was discontinued after waiting over 8 months for delivery. Naturally had to pay upfront. A NIGHTMARE to cancel the order still trying to cancel the order & get my money back. Ashley has had our money for over 14 months.
TJ was our salesperson, and he was very helpful. We were in the store for hours, then took a break. Told him we were going to grab some lunch, talk over what we want, then would be back. Came back, and he was so helpful, got everything ordered right away, transaction was quick, and he was very informative about the whole delivery process and what to expect. We have shopped here in the past, and we will keep coming back. Customer service is great. Like I said, we were there for HOURS, and he did not hover or constantly follow us around. He checked in once in a while, and so did we. We liked that, we were left alone to roam around and check things out, etc. Great store, and great personnel. TJ is a terrific sales person.
No remote came with a much needed lift chair so chair is unusable and after waiting 2 weeks, Ashley wants me to wait 10 more days. They also told me there would be no refund for the delivery charge of $70. So you sell me a chair and then your very unpleasant customer service girl tells me to either wait for the remote or she would send the truck back to pick up the chair and I lose $70! My mom is due home from the hospital any day...she needs this chair.
Kristine was fantastic to work with. She took the time to walk around the showroom and show me different options within my style preferences. She also made sure to walk through each step of the process to ensure things were done correctly and that I understood everything. A great experience!
Kristine Hoy was our sales associate and she was very professional and helpful. We changed our order after two days to another TV stand and it was a very easy process. She went out of her way to assist us in everyway possible. The receptionists were also very professional and completed our order. This was our first experience with Ashley Home Store and we will definitely shop there again.
If I could rate it lower I would. My wife and I ordered two accent chairs from this store. On delivery, they were dropped off in our driveway, no communication with the drivers/delivers. One chair was unwrapped which had a hole in the fabric on the head of the chair. We never signed for the delivery. Our signature was forged. The process for Ashley Furniture was to try and repair, the brand new chair I purchased and then if I was happy to swap them out. They were not able to schedule a repair technician to come out for 30 days. Trying to return the chairs has been lets just say a process. I received the chairs on March 23rd, they are still currently in my house with a pending return.I will never buy from this company again and will make sure those I am close with will do the same.Update: so a month and half later, still havent got a refund. It seems the store itself can not do anything to help, always has to be dealt with central or corporate office. So today got on the phone with the credit card company to dispute the charges.
I ordered a coffee table from the store. Excited to receive the item but it is on order and up to 8 weeks for delivery. Not thrilled over the wait but it is what it is. Sales team was nice, easy to work with. Check out processes was lengthy with lots of steps to complete before sale was finalized. Seems like there could be a better way for that. Over all nice store and looking forward to getting my item.
Absolute garbage furniture. Spend a little more money and go elsewhere. Their customer service is horrible and they want to disassemble my couch in my living room to “fix” my couch with screws and “L” brackets because of a broken support and popping sounds when you sit down. If the manufacture wanted those parts in the couch - they would have put them in there.
Rick greeted us at the door and directed us to the area where we might find what we were looking for. He allowed us to wander freely and look around but was nearby when we had questions. He was very helpful and we found exactly what we wanted. Our purchase was completed and we got a reasonable delivery date. All in all it was a great experience and we are excited for our new sofa.
I purchased the Baxenburg Dining Room Table on October 15th, 2018. It arrived damaged, however the assembly crew told me that Ashley furniture would send someone out who could repair it quickly for me. Great, right? Nope. They sent out a repair person on November 9th. He takes one look at the table and tells me I cant fix that. They will have to send you a replacement table. So I call the costumer service number and have to fight with them that the table can not be repaired and it needs to be replaced. They arrive on November 20th with the new table.....except they brought the WRONG table! So I have to call and have another table scheduled to be delivered. I call them several days prior to delivery to make sure they are sending me the correct table this time, and they still had to wrong table scheduled for delivery. Glad a called to correct them......Today, December 7th, 2018, they arrived to deliver the new table, and delivery guy takes one look at it on the truck and tells me there is a huge chip on the side and it isnt even worth taking off the truck. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!! It has been 2 months since I bought this table, and I still have not received a non-defective purchase. I wont even go into to the 30+ minute wait times every time I call customer service, or the very rude operators that act like I am a nuisance for calling and wanting the correct table delivered. This is the THIRD day I have had to take off work, and nothing to show for it. I wonder how many more hoops I will have to jump through before I can have a non-damaged table delivered to me......NEVER BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE
Worst customer service and worst shopping experience of my life. This company finds a way to not communicate between the warehouse, the store and corporate and it’s truly amazing how effortlessly they screw up. Almost everything with my order has been delayed for months. No recourse taken, no accountability, and still no product. Will never shop at a Ashley furniture for the rest of my life.
PASS on purchasing new furniture from Ashley Furniture. I purchased a new couch from them, when delivered, inside the arm was damaged, instead of replacing the damaged couch they gave me… they want to repair it. They will refuse to fix their mistake of giving a damaged piece of furniture and come out and rip apart the new couch to “try” and repair it. They have horrible communication the customer service team, never call you back to communicate the outcome of open situations. I’ll take my business to another furniture store and suggest you do as well. They have no intentions on making it right for the customer when they are clearly wrong.
Came in a few weeks back and saw a couch, chair and ottoman. Continued looking at other stores and ended up back at Ashley today and bought it! They were great and the sales rep, Ric was fantastic. I got a great deal, he answered all my questions and was so thorough and courteous in explaining the process. Overall a great experience and cant wait to get my new furniture!
Rubin Michaels did a wonderful job showing our family different options while shopping for new living room furniture. Excellent service and friendly environment. Mr. Jeffery was also very helpful. He helped us get a great deal on our new furniture. Can’t wait until it arrives! 😁
Had a delivery scheduled months in advance. They sent daily emails asking if we want the delivery sooner, which was not an option for us. 4 days before scheduled delivery date, they say 1 of 2 items is back ordered, and rescheduled delivery for 10 days later. In calling for a partial delivery on the original date, I waited on hold forever, passed around to multiple agents, and never was able to talk to the correct person. Terrible customer service. How can it be back ordered when for 2 months they were asking us for an earlier delivery date?
We spent way too long having to pick out a lot of furniture but Chris P. was fantastic and very patient. The manager Jeff was also super sweet and helpful. He walked the length of the store a half dozen times showing us different selections. Everything we wanted was in stock and they had a great deal going on. We ended up stay after closing to wrap everything up and they didn’t rush us or make us feel like a burden.
After having a very rough start with Ashley, I want to take the time to give Jose from warranty repair a huge shout out! He was the most professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and timely person I have met in a very long time. I cannot express how much I appreciate his help today with our couch. Jose is the example all employees should strive to be! Thank you Jose!
Would highly recommend this store. Kristine Hoy was our sales representative (let me start off by saying), she was very professional, friendly, and totally went out of her way to help us. We had a very bad experience with rooms to go with the representative there. Kristine made Sue we were well taken care of and made furniture shopping a pleasurable experience. Made us forget that we went to Rooms To Go. So with that being said we will always by our furniture from Ashley Furniture Store. If anyone reads this please go see Kristine Hoy. The managers there were great as well. I cannot remember their names but they were very friendly and adhere to our bad experience with the other furniture store. Still waiting on a Pillow from 3 months ago. Was told it was in the warehouse but no one sent it to us or followed up???? Still waiting for the Pillow. It is ridiculous.Four delivery dates and times were set— not one date happened- we finally had to pick up from the warehouse— which had moved by the way.Aah Ashley, you can do so much better than this.
Customer Service is HORRIBLE!!! Pay extra for premium delivery and they won’t take item back like salesperson claims. Have to schedule a repair or return. Repair department booked out for 1 month 4/30/21what does that tell you! That’s just a tentative date by the way. Stated all products are in and delivered together and not case at all. Missing love seat and possible delivery 4/9/21. They don’t offer you anything just a shame very unimpressed with the company.
Sales were trained to lie and false promise the customers. Customer service treats as if they are donating and I have to wait for my turn. I ordered stuffs on early July it’s now November, they delivered sofa and not love seat, bed side tables but no the panel bed, so I have no choice and had wait If I want to match my furniture. They first told me it will be delivered in a month. I had to go visit them every month and they say the same each time. No other updates on orders, no response when I call the customer service. In store employees are welcoming when I say I want to visit the customer service, while they are responsive if I am looking to buy.
Overall our experience was great! Our salesman (I cant remember his name, but he was a sweet older gentlemen) was very thorough in explaining all of our options and getting what we wanted ordered! The only downside (not Ashley Furnitures fault) would be the 2.5 week wait for delivery. But our order was there on time and everything was perfect!! It seems that everyone who has written a negative response thinks the exact same thing will happen to everyone, but we had a great experience. Again, not saying that mean everyone will, but thats life!
If I could give 0 stars, I would. The store and company as a whole are horrible. They do not stand behind their product. A couple of months after we purchased a sofa and love seat, it started making a horrible creaking noise, like we owned it for 50 years. The store initially agreed it was a manufacturing defect, which the furniture came with a year manufacturing warranty...plus we purchased the extended warranty. Did not matter. We have received the run around for months. Even after their tech came out, 5 missed appointments later, and said he could not fix it, they never offered to exchange or give us a refund or anything. I will never purchase from this company again and tell everyone I meet that their product is trash. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!!
We purchased furniture from Ashley Homestore and have not been pleased with the customer service in trying to get the damaged furniture replaced. The delivery guys left the damaged furniture with us instead of taking it with them since it was Threshold Delivery meaning they deliver and we put the furniture together knowing that the box was clearly open and the furniture damaged upon delivery after having to take 2 days off of work to be home and the first delivery date was pushed back as to no fault of my own. No one at store we purchased furniture from or corporate has been able to tell us when someone will be out to inspect furniture and then order a replacement. I am typically an easy, understanding customer, but this is ridiculous. What happened to pleasing the customer. I believe these companies have got way too big to even care about their customers.
If I could leave no stars I would. My wife and I just had a baby and she’s feeling very sad because she no longer has her own source of income so I wanted to make this experience buying new furniture special for her so she could feel like she was still this decision maker. TJ? I think it was (I do not have the gentleman’s card on me) but he was not great and we did not purchase anything due to our experience. He only spoke to me barley made eye contact with my wife as if she was not a person and acted like he was to busy to consult with us on moving forward on a purchase. This does not seem like a very progressive company considering the minimal respect my wife received while shopping with me for furniture.
If I could give this business a zero-star I would. first let me say that the delivery date they give you in the store will definitely change two and three times when you get home. I purchased a kitchen set with 4 bar stools, a bedroom set whats the dresser and two end tables and four power recliners to go down in my basement for my entertainment area on February 5th. Each piece of this order arrived at different times and dates some arrived damaged and had to be returned several times. it is now almost the beginning of July and I still do not have functioning bar stools. There must be some sort of defect because ALL of them are wobbly and you cant sit on them. Ive had multiple upon multiple calls with the store and the customer service center to get the issue resolved with my table and stools. I had a date set for yesterday for a technician to come out only for them to call me and reschedule during the time frame I was told they were to be out. Needless to say this is almost 6 months and I still do not have a functioning table and bar stools. Also I paid up front in cash and still to this day do not have the complete set of functioning furniture. Save your time please shop elsewhere. This has been the worst experience of my life dealing with a furniture store. They absolutely positively do not care about their customers or their customers experience.
Do not buy anything from here. Purchased a couch only the corner piece was delivered and waited two months for rest. Thats not my problem, as soon as couch was sat on looks like I have owned it for 10 years. Once you accept the couch you cant return it. Stuck with a couch over $4,000 and it is GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I felt more inclined to, I would give this store more stars based on previous experiences before yesterday. My roommate and I have visited Ashley a total of three times now. The first, we were greeted and assisted by Mr. Chris Patton who was very kind and more than helpful, but we were not quite in a position to place an order yet as we were not scheduled to move in until weeks later. The second was last Thursday, where we were largely ignored due to what my roommate and I believe is a slight age bias. We were in the store for almost an hour before we were approached by Cody, the sales manager, who was incredibly helpful and we very much enjoyed the time he spent walking us through the store. My roommate and I are not easy customers to please as we have different tastes in texture/color/style. Cody was very patient with us and let us take our time deliberating. When we returned Saturday to make a purchase, Cody was not there but we just wanted to make sure the couch we picked out was right for us and get measurements ourselves one last time. When we approached the front podium, I asked the woman sitting there if we could potentially borrow a tape measure (we forgot to bring ours) so we could compare the size of the space we had to the size of the couch. While I did try to explain our situation, Ms. Hoy was more than insistent upon showing us how the dimension sheets work. Well, last I checked, I wasnt dropped off the turnip truck yesterday, and I do know how to read. I continued trying to explain that we werent trying to measure the physical couch and that we already had an associate in mind that had worked with us previously: either Cody or Mr. Patton would have worked just fine. Insistent that she needed to be our sales associate, my roommate and I gave in and followed her to the couch we had chosen. She was very knowledgable of the dimensions of the couch and the fabric we had chosen. As I have a service dog, she was very polite and treated us as regular customers which I appreciate beyond measure; however, in passing I had mentioned an accent chair that she could not seem to drop. My roommate and I explained we would not be purchasing an accent chair in the near future, but the couch we chose allowed for room in the budget to get one eventually. She continued to lead us around the store and show us abstractly patterned accent chairs that my roommate and I agreed were not to our liking, she blatantly ignored the size restrictions we placed on the chair (we have a small apartment, and were very specific about size) and even after stating that we had no interest in purchasing any of the available options, she continued to insist that a glance wouldnt hurt. While I do understand that sales associates operate on commission, I dont appreciate being pressured into a large financial decision I clearly expressed I wasnt ready to make. After all, we are college students and the accent chairs that were being shown to us cost significantly more than the couch we bought. After finally going to checkout, the pressure started in on the extended warranty I had no interest in purchasing (which is my right to choose as a consumer). Time and time again, she wouldnt drop getting me a lower cost warranty. My roommate had to get slightly abrasive before Ms. Hoy dropped the matter. While overall polite and knowledgeable of the inventory, we were both slightly irritated with the experience. I hope to keep our business with Ashley in good faith, but commission poaching and pressuring customers into financial decisions for personal gain pushed a few buttons for us. 5 stars for Mr. Patton. 5 Stars for Cody. 3 stars for our most recent experience at Ashley HomeStore.
The sales process with Mike Gulisano was fine. Service after the sale is HORRID! We were given one delivery date, then it was moved to today. We got a text early this morning that we were #2 in the delivery sequence. The window was 9:15 to 1:15, so we thought we were in good shape. WRONG. Three phone calls to the store later, with hold times of 20 minutes each, still no delivery. A fourth call revealed the item was never on the truck, because it’s on back order. Aaaaahhh!!! Attention to detail and effective communication are critical to every successful endeavor. Ashley needs to ask themselves, “Is this any way to run a business?”
Disgusted with the lack of professionalism from this organization. We purchased furniture at least 2 months ago and it has yet to be delivered. Some of it was available for delivery at purchase but they chose to deliver it all at once and its been months waiting. Do not choose this store for furniture unless you want the shipping if this furniture to your home to be a surprise. Youll surely forget you ever ordered it by the time it arrives. Thoroughly disgusted with Ashley not responding to my numerous requests for information and help with delivery on my order.
Shopping at Ashley is the worst furniture experience Ive ever had. The sales people pounce on you when you walk through the door, but thats not the worst of it. All I wanted was an end table and I found one I liked. They offer free delivery, but dont tell you that if your delivery is free, you cant get a refund if your furniture arrives damaged. My table was severely damaged in two places - the veneer was damaged and the corner of the table has almost broken off. It was obviously dropped but they packed it up anyway and sent it on. They can send me a replacement which I have to accept or I donate my money to the Ashley Furniture corporation. I will never, never shop at an Ashley store again. And it turns out the table isnt even wood. Its pressed board with a veneer, AND I have to put it together.Buy at your own risk. Really.
Carol was the customer sales rep who was very patient and showed utmost care .I went into the store 10 minutes into closing but she took the patience to walk me through even though it was past store closing . It is such experience that made me come again and made another purchase of bed and 2 mattress all in same store and stopped shopping elsewhere .
I never got my delivery that was guaranteed scheduled for 10/23. Was told there must have been a mistake when i have the paperwork and email from the store that says 10/23. Now i am told 10/30 . This is infuriating !!!!! My Company did not have anything comfortable to sit on!!!!
Horrible customer service! Went in after purchasing multiple pieces of furniture and just wanted to buy pillows. First when trying to purchase we had to be handed off by a greeter, never seen a group of people that did NOT want to service someone. Then they rang us up at the wrong price which I turn we had to wait in a line to refund the difference. This is ridiculous and will be the last time we purchase with this company. Being a COVID environment it seems as though you would also want to keep your customers in one place but we moved to 4 places during the checkout process. Crazy! And just done!
They straight up lie about shipping times. Said two weeks then call every two weeks to say two more weeks. They could care less. No apology or discounts for inconvenience. Seriously it’s been months and still don’t know when we will get our stuff but they have our money. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
This is the second time we have used this location. We had been watching the price of the Urbanology Wesling Canopy bed for a while. Mark greeted us as soon as we entered the store and explained the current promotions. He left us to look, gave us time to make decisions without feeling hovered over. He did check on us and give us some suggestions which were exactly in line with my style. I think it was the Homestead Collection he introduced us to...very nice! Once we made our decision he offered us the warranty and explained the benefits, gave us more than one delivery date to choose from and made the process easy and comfortable. We got what we went in for under list price and left happy. The one tiny note about the experience which I feel the need to address: A couple of other employees had really strong cologne/perfume. Some people cannot handle a fragrance that heavy. It was very overwhelming and followed throughout the store floor. This will deter people from sticking around for a purchase quicker than anything if they have sensitivities to strong cologne. Anywhere I have worked had a policy against wearing heavy fragrance for this very reason.
1. Ashley HomeStore, ordered a chair for me and pushed the date of arrival back 3 times from April to now August. They refused to sale me the floor model. However, when I return to ask for a refund the chair was no longer there. 2. They refunded my money on my Synchrony card, then gave me a receipt that read $65.10. When I questioned what it was for, she said she was wondering the same thing, why ask for my signature on something you have no idea what it’s for? Finally, after investigating she realized it was the deposit I paid using my AE card. Which hasn’t posted yet it’s been 4 days. 3. My sales agent was strictly about the sale, not personable at all. I plan to pay off my card. Then burn it! Which is unfortunate, because I like the furniture.
Ordered a bench from Ashley store online, bench arrived without the screws to assemble it, called customer service and now have to wait ANOTHER two weeks for them to even process sending the hardware. They can’t ship sooner even though it’s their fault. I would have never order this bench knowing it was going to be over a month before I could even use it!
Weve had good customer service in the past, but Im afraid to say it has since changed. We bought a 5-year total replacement warranty for a sofa we purchased 3 years ago. Theres a tear that has developed. The warranty company determined this tear was not covered (I did say total replacement, right?...). After speaking on the phone and visiting the store 5-6 times over the last 8 weeks, we have not been offered any kind of resolution still. Weve been told to wait to see if this discontinued sofa would suddenly become available from another location... I worked in retail for 10+ years and this is exactly how you turn people away from returning. I do not recommend this store or their warranties.
Purchased a few pieces of furniture from Paula. She was great to work with and was able to adjust my orders so that they would all arrive on the same dates. Distribution even called to tell me before delivery that one of the tables was damaged and discontinued and suggest I go back to the store to buy the floor model or get a refund. Gave Paula a buzz and she was able to set me up! Thank you for your help!
The staff at Ashley Furniture are wonderful. In buying our first home we wanted to purchase quality items that would last but also stay on budget. They really worked with me in doing so. I arrived late both days and the staff was willing to stay late in order to help me make a good decision that I wouldnt regret. After the first night, I came back and wanted to switch my item. They did this with no problem or hesitation! The sales representative are very knowledgeable and really listen to what you want. The managers are wonderful and work with you as well! Overall, great experience!!!
I am posting on behalf of my father, Jerry King. His salesperson Stephen Black was nothing short of amazing. He was super helpful. His product knowledge and respect of our budget was so valuable. It completely assisted in picking out a living room suit that we are very happy with. We were shown exceptional customer service by him from the moment we walked in the showroom. This was all made possible by Mike, the store manager. Thank you Stephen and Mike for being willing to go the extra mile to make the impossible, possible.
If I could go negative stars I would. We ordered furniture during this pandemic, and understood things might take longer than usual. With that being said, our delivery still hasn’t arrived,m. The drivers couldn’t find our house in a new build neighborhood (which we understood and were anticipating a call about this during the day) originally we tracked our delivery at 8 out 12, the drivers skipped us because they couldn’t find the address in Google Maps. I called up and got a hold of Tiffany who said she would have Jessica call once they could actually reach the drivers- surprise no one reached out to me. Then, the manager of the deliveries Jason “made us a priority” that evening at 7:30 PM and promised it would be there the following day between 8-10, that has yet to happen. I call back to ask for an update, and not surprisingly our order is on the way- behind a 27 piece delivery. They have no customer service accountability with their deliveries. I will never order from Ashley again.Mind you Rooms to Go delivered our couch on time the same week and we had ZERO issues with them. I’d recommend going next door to them instead of the hot mess that Ashley is, they waste your time and have zero accountability within all of their departments.
Just purchased 8k worth of furniture from Ashley within a 3 month period. Had three pieces arrive damaged. Had two techs come out and both agreed they needed replaced. Now they are wanting to try and repair. One table looks like it has water damage. The other table leans and broke the first night. Another end table looks like it was at someone’s else’s house before mine and is all scratched and chipped. Waiting on the “customer service” department to return my call yet again. Save yourself and drive past and find another company that will stand behind their items.Poor customer service, poor quality and poor company standards should be their motto.
In recent months the products and service have deteriorated company wide. When you need something repaired, you get hung up on. When you need to follow up on when an item will be delivered, you are told your order was not transferred to the correct system and then you get transferred to different departments to get hung up on. And if you do find that one seemingly great associate that wants to help you, their notes never make it to your account and you have to start the process all ocer again. Do not purchase product from this company!!!
If I could give Ashley Furniture 0 stars, I would. It has been a horrible experience with Ashley Furniture Store. We ordered a sofa and a sofa sectional from them back in October. Both items were damaged and needed to have them replaced. Almost one year later and we are still dealing with this and our sectional is still not totally replaced and now we are being told that one of the pieces is discontinued. Customer service is terrible, where one person tells you one thing and another person tells you something else. I can never get in touch with a store manager and customer service says they cannot help me because it was a store purchase. We are now trying to get a full refund because we are done dealing with them. I will NEVER shop at Ashley Furniture Store again!
Product looks and seems to be high quality, couldn’t understand that for some reason we would have paid more if we didn’t get 5 year warranty? So we paid the lesser amount w/warranty. Must be a huge incentive for sales person and manager to sell warranty. The purchase process was very time consuming after we made selection. Salesperson was nice.
Most disgusting and disrespectful customer service I have ever received.I order my furniture on July 3rd. Agreed to have it delivered on July 17 since it was available. Everything great at the store, I checked the order and everything was what I wanted. On July 16 it was weird that I never received a call to confirm the delivery. So I called (which wasnt easy because it was an hour and 45 minutes just waiting on hold) only to be told that they cant locate the house and the delivery was rescheduled for July 23 without my knowledge or consent. On the call we confirmed the address and I asked what can be done to have it delivered the day that they had promised and I was offered no other option than to just accept what they told me. On July 22 I called again since once again I was not called to confirm the delivery hour. To be told that supposedly they called me and I didnt answer. Mind you that I provided 2 different phone numbers and was not called to neither of the numbers. They rescheduled for today July 24 after being on the phone for hours and talking with supervisors. It should not be this difficult to get furniture especially after you paid for it and paid a separate amount of over $200 just for delivery. I was promised to be the first delivery of the day at 8 am and they arrived at 11 am. I also was told that the the delivery men were going to have mask and gloves for our and their safety. Today July 24, 2 men without gloves or masks arrived and set up the furniture which was made up of a king size bed with matress, 2 night stands and a chest all dark brown from the Hyndell collection. When they finished, I went to check all the pieces were in order only to find out that the chest was the wrong one. Not only was it not from the collection I ordered but it was GREY. How would they ever think that even goes together?? Not only that, but they scratch up my walls in the new house. Now I was told that I have to take out a day in the middle of the pandemic to go personally to their store where I ordered the item to check if they still have it in stock (which in their website already says its out of stock) to then AGAIN have to schedule another delivery day and no one knows if that is even possible. I paid for the furniture, I checked the order with the sales person before submitting it to MAKE SURE ITS 100% CORRECT. I still have the receipt in hand and verified again that the sales person and I ordered the right items. And WE DID, it was also confirmed by the website and the customer service agents!! Then on top off all that they dare to accuse me of blocking them on my phone. When in all reality they just didnt want to call a Puerto Rican area code number, but I gave them 2 phone numbers a 939 from Puerto Rico and 678 from Georgia that is no excuse for them not to call me and to be this IRRESPONSIBLE, CARELESS AND DISRESPECTFUL.
Wow, what an amazing experience in the Cumming location with Barbara. Stopped by a week ago and got some ideas with NO pressure. Then visited another location for my sons house and they were RUDE and pushy. So I came back to this store and Barbara took amazing care of me. Honest, sweet, laid back, thorough, and took her time while I made my decisions. The manager, Tyler was so nice and funny too. Michael helped me put a table and chairs in my car too, awesome.Thank you for helping me spend money to furnish my sons house. Great deal and experience was wonderful.For sure, I would return and use the same salesperson Barbara
We bought over 12 pieces of furniture at Ashley Furniture and after 5 weeks we still have not received any of our furniture. We paid for it up front to Carol who was our salesperson. All of our messages and calls have gone unanswered. We were supposed to get our delivery yesterday and stayed home from work to be available and no one showed up....no one called...yes they still have our order but no one seems to know why we didn’t get it and when we will. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever seen. How do you even stay in business?
Very polite, knowledgeable and patient staff. While it is very challenging to shop with a 4 year old running around all over the place. The staff was very understanding and still helped us make the best decision on our mattress needs and saved us the most amount of money possible. I would highly recommend them for any furniture purchases. Thank you all we really appreciate the good customer service!
I ordered a dining room set and received it last Saturday. For me, everything was a great experience from entering the front door through delivery. The gentlemen who delivered my furniture were very gracious and professional, taking care not to scratch up my hardwood floors, removing all packing material and even helping remove the old dining room set.This is my second experience with purchasing from Ashley. My previous purchase was couches and a Temperpedic bed about 18 months ago. That experience was equally pleasant.
Do not spend your hard earned money here. I purchased a captain’s bed with drawers underneath on June 6, 2020. They first time they delivered the bed was damaged. The second time they delivered it came without drawers. Really?!! A captains bed with no drawers. I called the store where I bought the furniture and they are no help. I called the delivery line and they are no help. I should have read the reviews before making my purchase. I resorted to filing a complaint with the BBB and hope to have it resolved. I will NEVER do business with them again. Please do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.
Do not pay them with cash! I canceled my order after a couple of days when I was told that it would be 8-10 weeks before delivery. I requested a refund and they told me it had to come their main headquarters. I’ve been waiting 2 weeks for it to be just processed 2 days and then it takes 30 days after processed. That is ridiculous! It took them 2 seconds to take my cash and 45 days to return it? Had I been told that upfront I would not have paid cash.
This company tells lies just to get your money. I was told when my stuff would be delivered just for them to call me and tell me it was another 4 weeks out. When I bought the set they told me they were only missing the right sofa piece, now mysteriously they have none of the pieces I ordered. They cannot tell you anything when you call to ask questions. HORRIBLE. Go to their competitors.
Good deals but EXTREMELY unreliable. Parents ordered lamps back in November and after almost 2 months of not hearing anything they just cancelled the order. I went and bought a couch and table set. Delivery guys forgot to bring hardware for table set when delivering and now Im waiting for them to actually order those parts. Im constantly calling and going to the store for updates instead of them contacting me. Have yet to have a smooth and enjoyable experience with these guys.
I just relocated to Cumming and I decided to ditch my old bed set and buy new one. Walked in around 6 PM and it wasnt very busy. Walked around the whole store without anyone asking if I needed help and I was relieved at first before seeing two other couples come in after me and being asked right away. This happens a lot to me so I shrugged it off. Finally had a sales rep come up to me and ask what I was looking for. I asked what financial options they had available and if a model I saw online was available. He instantly directed me to the credit kiosk as if he wasnt going to look for any products without knowing that I would be financially worth his time. I actually came in there with cash looking to just purchase. I stood by the credit kiosk for a few minutes alone, looked around for him, then ended up just leaving. Im debating if I want to buy with Ashley or just try another vendor. I just simply did get a good first impression. Especially since I purchases my whole living room set at Ashleys a year ago.
I went in August 22nd to purchase 2 mattresses, and 2 frames. It took 2 weeks to get one frame (just the frame, no mattress..)Thus far weve gotten like 5 different delivery dates where Ive had to call the corporate line to find out that my delivery has been moved yet again! No email, no phone call, no text, nothing to indicate why my delivery has been moved. The store? Hasnt contacted me at all, they dont care about their orders.At the store they told me that the thing that would take 2 weeks to get was one of the frames, last week that I had a delivery date on Sept 15th they told me they were waiting on the mattresses. Something they never told me about instore. Now my delivery is dated for October 15th. That will be a week shy of 2 months since I went and paid for my order.Worse case is that we made these purchases because we bought a new home and my mother and little sister NEED a bed. Not because we are redecorating and just cause. Its a necessity. Worst experience, worst customer service, worst fulfillment, overall, if you need something do not do business.Ive been on hold so many times and the funny thing is that their recording says that they have warehouses and they ship and yadayadayada, hilarious when they cannot even fulfill two basic mattresses and frames.UPDATE: its October 14th and no delivery yet. Basic mattresses and frames, no delivery yet. After complaining I got a call from a lady that said was part of this locations customer service team. As an apology for the hassle she offered a $200 gift card for online of any store or $100 off delivery. I opted for the gift card and she said she would mail it. Ok whatever, I got it and I opened it and its just $100 for specific stores in the area. Why lie? Why promise something and not deliver.. like my order... A slap in the face yet again. She just wanted me to shut up. WORST CUSTOMER CARE!
THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE. You will never get your furniture on time. I bought Sofa, Corner Chaise, Ottoman, Barstool, and a round end table on 05/24 which has NOT BEEN delivered yet. So far it has been rescheduled for the third time. My delivery date now is 7/28 which I am pretty sure will get rescheduled. The sales rep. who sold me these items is Mr. Michael Turlington 26 who I am not able to contact. Hope he reads this message and gives me a call. Here is the order number: 500891140. I wish I would not have paid these items in full but it too late. I would never recommend or buy anything from Ashley Furniture Store.
I went to place an order online but figured I would go into the store and check everything out before pulling the trigger. The instore experience was good except I was told the originally delivery date of that weekend was no longer available and it would be a little longer than expected. However, they could not give us a date. I said no problem but asked if I was charged right away to which they replied yes but you should have it in 2 weeks. My card was charged $3500 and 2 weeks later I had not heard anything. I called customer service and found out that it was late September now that I would be receiving the item. We had just moved and couldn’t wait that long on a bed so I decided to cancel. I spent 30 mins on the phone cancelling the item. I was told the cancellation request takes 24 hours and then 3-7 days to credit the account. Well 8 days went by and I checked my card and the charge was still on there. I called in once again and the automated system said my item would be delivered September 29th. Waited another 20 mins to speak to a rep only to find out the first cancellation was never completed and it had to be done again. I have lost all faith in this company.
Nightmare.First, I do have to say that the sales person was delightful, helpful and had phenomenal customer service skills. But the good experience ended there.I ordered a bedroom set and a sectional sofa and scheduled delivery while I was at the store and a friend of mine bought a sofa the same day. Thats where the trouble started. They couldnt deliver everything to me in one day and I had to schedule delivery a month out and in two different deliveries which meant I had to make arrangements to be home during working hours on two different days. It ended up taking them THREE months and FIVE deliveries to get me all of my furniture. I had to reschedule, because of them not me, multiple times and one time they got the day and time wrong so I asked them to leave the delivery on my front porch (they did that time) but one time they refused to leave or mail the THREE SCREWS that werent included with my bed.Each time I called, I was required to speak with Customer Service who provided no service and blamed the warehouse or the delivery team. The warehouse blamed customer service or the manufacturer and the poor delivery people didnt really have what they needed to be of any help at all. My commentary when I called customer service was that I really didnt care WHO was at fault because, in my mind, its ALL Ashley and I just wanted my furniture.Additionally, they required I give them TWO phone numbers even though I paid in full for my order when I bought it and I told them that I rarely listen to messages on my work phone promptly. They insisted on calling my work phone even though I specifically asked them to call my mobile and they even left threatening messages about having to reschedule my delivery if I didnt reply to them immediately (days prior to scheduled delivery).They didnt set up my bed even though it was part of the delivery fees.Oh, my friend who ordered the sofa you ask? He had a similar experience and when they finally did deliver the sofa (months later), it was damaged beyond repair and he was going to have to wait another several months for them to make him another one since it was supposedly an item no longer carried. When he went to the store to get a refund, low and behold, the couch he ordered was still sitting on the floor for sale with no indication that it was not in stock. He asked if he could have that one since they were no longer selling it but was told no. He had to basically make a scene in order to get a refund for a couch he had paid for in full 3 months prior.As a side note, I ordered another bedroom set from Rooms2Go and two mattresses from Sears around the same time I bought from Ashley. Both deliveries were scheduled in a reasonable time frame (R2G in 2-3 weeks from purchase and Sears within 1-2 weeks mostly because I had to arrange time to be available) AND delivered without issue the first time and on time. As a matter of fact, Sears delivered my mattresses early and Rooms2Go was able to schedule delivery the day I bought the bedroom.Be aware if you purchase anything from this company. I dont think its just this location that had the issue. And definitely be careful if you finance. If they cant deliver the right furniture on time to you Im not sure Id trust them with my credit.
Delivery date was scheduled. My husband and I both confirmed from both of our phones via text TWICE. Took off work the day furniture was supposed to be delivered. Got a message stating my delivery was being rescheduled because we did not confirm. Called and spoke with 4 different reps and all of them said they see where we had both confirmed. They don’t know what happened. Got transferred to a manager who told me she would “make it happen tomorrow” and she would call be back in 25-30 minutes to confirm... not the case. I never heard back from her. Called again only to be told there was absolutely nothing they could do. They rescheduled the date- meaning I had to take off work AGAIN. They offered $100 gift card to which I declined bc it couldn’t be used on this purchase, and I will not be purchasing from them again. I spent a total of 5.5 hours on the phone trying to get them to make this right and nothing. Stay away.Furniture just got delivered- they left us when boxes of furniture sitting in the living room, unpackaged, not put together. The delivery team said our delivery was a “threshold delivery” meaning they don’t put it together. So I guess they took it upon themselves to change that too....so now I’m left with boxes of furniture to unpack and put together. AFTER they rescheduled my first CONFIRMED DELIVERY for no reason at all....”it was a glitch” which included my furniture being put together
Michael Turlington was my salesman. He greeted me when I entered the store. He was so kind, helpful and respectful and he listened to my wants and my needs. A wonderful young man and Ashley is very lucky to have him as their employee. Wonderful customer service and I will be back to shop at the Ashley furniture store in coming.
Cant vouch for the negative experiences from other reviewers. We went in looking for a couch, found a couple we liked, and salesman was very helpful yet not pushy in the slightest. Quickly answered all questions I had about the financing - 72 months no interest is pretty nice - and walked me through multiple options. Normally, I hate going shopping for anything, but this was easy and low pressure, which will get me as close to liking shopping, especially a big expense, as I can be. Ask for Steven Black (could be Stephen, sorry man!) as your sales guy, and Im sure youll have a similar experience if you find something you like.
I ordered and paid for kitchen island table .The item Did arrive on time however the delivery people were missing the hardware.Supposedly the delivery people called and arranged for technicians to come back out with the hardware on another day assemble the table, we took off work and this was a huge inconvenience however we understood and we also called the store ( we had to call three or four different numbers to get in touch with someone who could give us some information very difficult! )the store manager assured us that it would be taken care of and it would call us back once they knew the technicians were scheduled , ( should be two days )(We had a Labor Day party 2 days after that and the furniture was in our living room in pieces ) A total of five days past and still no contact or information . We called the store again and spoke with maneesha and she apologized and said she would schedule technicians to come out and call back. ( there was no call back and technicians never came out ) three days later on our way out of town going to the airport the delivery people said they would be in our house in 15 minutes with no prior notice. We delayed our flights , met the delivery people had them install and then I called the store and spoke with Amanda a store manager and she said she would call back and do something for us for the inconvenience. No call back, no communication .The stores only concern is with closing a deal & after the fact there is no support customer service, I would advise not shopping here!
The delivery drivers wanted to leave my brand new furniture, in the driveway of my home, on a rainy day. They told my father in law that they did NOT bring the furniture through a threshold with the Threshold Delivery. My father in law had to negotiate with them, to AT LEAST put the furniture on the porch, due to the weather and it getting ruined if left in the driveway. Threshold delivery terms (the paper that i was provided by the store) specifically states that the furniture would be in its original packaging and dropped off INSIDE of the doorway and that drivers will NOT be allowed to leave furniture outside. My electric/ leather recliner was not packaged what so ever and was left outside with the rest of my furniture while raining because the delivery team said they would NOT bring it through the door. (A total of 5 extra steps, no stairs involved). I called the store to explain what happened and to confirm the Threshold Delivery policy and received the worst customer service EVER!! The manager, Kendra, told me that she spoke with the drivers and that they were instructed to leave it on the porch.. She completely ignored the part where i told her they REFUSED to bring it inside the doorway, wanted to leave it in the driveway, so yes they were asked to AT LEAST leave it on the porch since they were not willing to do anything else. The whole situation is very frustrating and especially to be told numerous times that since the drivers gave a different story, that is the story they were gonna go by. I would not recommend this store to anyone. The furniture is over priced and they have horrible customer service. I recommend shopping around for a store that actually takes pride in their service and their customers. Wrong is wrong and they are not willing be held accountable for their wrongs. All sales are final so i am stuck with the furniture. However, i will not be a returning customer.
Honestly really bad service and really bad quality. I bought a princess bed for my daughter for her birthday. To add on the surprise that it took lots of time to get here, The bed was also built on backwards. I reported the problem and for another surprise they told me I could not get a refund and that the money could not get returned. Finally, it took 5 months for the bed to get here and it came as open box(used) and I payed for something new which was for my daughter!!
Most fun Ive ever had furniture shopping. I thought i was going to be going from store to store, but Artimus Quick and i walked around for an hour or 2 and he sold me exactly what i wanted. Cant believe i nailed it at 1st place i went. No pressure at all. He sold me exactly what i wanted and i am very happy. Thanks Artimus! It was fun.
Everything went great for us. We had a very no pressure salesperson, found the couch we wanted, he wrote us up and the couch was delivered a couple days later. Nice delivery guys, careful and courteous.Only downside was the computer system at the store seemed very cumbersome to use. Needed a manager a couple of times to get past some issues with the software, so took a little longer than needed to get written up, but other than that all is good.
If I could give them zero stars I would. The only good thing about this place is the salesman that helped us. Other than that shopping with them has been awful! They gave me a delivery date that was almost 2 weeks later than the date that I bought it. The furniture I ordered never came on that date. When I called about it they said they would get back to me before they closed. They never called back. I called back the next day and was told it never delivered because I had a balance due! I PAID IN FULL THE DAY I BOUGHT IT! They never put in the system that I paid. After all of that they then told me it would be delivered on the 17th which would have been a month after buying!!!! Well, my table was delivered and what do you know...three out of the four chairs are damaged!! I will absolutely never shop here again. Absolutely awful place to shop.
I had a very good experience purchasing the furniture at Ashley furniture in Cumming, GA. Mark Fowler the sales rep is very experienced person. I had lot of questions and he answered all my questions and suggested the best which suites my criteria. I did business twice and approached him for the purchase. I am very happy with his service and would recommend him for any type of furniture. I am sure you he will provide the best which fits your budget and criteria.
Eric was very helpful in helping us purchase our couches at Ashley Furniture! I hate when salespeople hover or try to push deals, but Eric did none of that. He was accessible when we needed him and very knowledgeable about our selection. We look forward to trying out our new furniture when it gets delivered!!
Marisa was the first employee we met in the store today. Not only did she greet us with a welcoming and fantastic attitude, but she also gave us suggestions on out purchases. Our experience was overwhelmingly positive and will ensure that the next time Im looking for a quality customer experience (and excellent deals) I will be returning to this location in particular. Also, the store layout and products? Gorgeous.
Bad bad customer service, the store can not process your card manually in case of your card chip or strip does not work, so if you have a bad card you better ask your bank to send you a new one before buying in Ashley. I had a visa virtual card and they didnt let me use it. Even with the terminal on the counter they told me they cant type the numbers of my card because if they do corporate will fire them. Really bad experience.
Two parts to this: our buying experience was good. Nice in-store customer service. The sectional was delivered, the chaise was damaged, so we wouldn’t take it and they replaced right away. Sectional began creaking in multiple places a month or two after delivery. I went in to the store to inquire about the additional warranty we PURCHASED to cover such things, and they said they don’t handle anything like that in the store and that I would need to call customer service. So I call customer service In December . They sent a technician to look at it in the middle of January. Technician said it’s frame damage and it would be replaced and Ashley would follow up. He left the house and we never got a call. So I called customer service about a week and a half later. The agent on the phone said they were going to replace it and that Ashley would be calling me within the week to schedule delivery. Again, never got a call back. So I called for the 3rd time, and the woman said she didn’t see any notes about replacement, so she’d contact the technician’s manager and get back to me in 48 hours. No call back in a 48 hours. It’s been 7 days since that call. I called for the 4th time tonight and spoke with a woman named Laurie. I immediately asked to speak with a manager. Laurie put me on hold, came back 5 minutes later, and said no supervisors were available and she’d put me on a call-back list. I told her I would prefer to hold seeing as I have called four times, and each time I’ve been told I would be called back, and that has never happened. She told me that wasn’t an option to stay on hold. So I asked for her name and a reference number, to which she gave me significant attitude and said, “my name is Laurie. There is no reference number. I’m the only Laurie in Customer Service. Bye.” And hung up.This is by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I’m not sure what to do at this point. I feel they are trying to ride out our warranty. This is dirty business practice.We spent $1800 on this couch and have been treated like scum.I will never shop at Ashley Furniture again.
Mark, our salesman, is Top Notch!!! Will always work with him. His Customer Service is 10 out of 10. Great experience deciding on whichmattress to purchase - the delivery was on time and the guys were very careful when negotiating a very narrow staircase. We will be buying 4 more mattresses for another residence very soon. Love the location and I like not being hounded when I just want to look around and take measurements.

Even when the manager didn’t know what sales were on and percentages that were already given to us a few days later, Michael went right in system and according to procedure, found exactly what we were saying. This is my second time with difficulty with this manager and if it wasn’t for the great sales people like Michael , Ona and Eric Wood, I don’t know if I or my wife would come back. Hopefully this can be addressed to get a real manager/ leader in place since this is a beautiful and convenient store .
We had the opportunity to work with Darby at the store. She was great to work with. She was very knowledgeable of all their furniture and made it easy to shop. There were some issues with our delivery and Darby was able to clear it all up and we had our delivery fixed ASAP. We would definitely shop at this store again and would recommend working with Darby.
Service in store was great. Delivery of sofa was a disaster. The molding of one my Interior door frames was destroyed and will have to be replaced, two broken lightbulbs and multiple holes, scratches and dents in the walls and picture frames knocked off the wall. Then, after all the damage, they unbox the sofa to reveal it was not the sofa we had ordered. Had to take it back out of the house, causing more damages. The delivery guy assured me that he was a manger and would send someone to fix it, but I didn’t bargain for home damage just to deliver a sofa.
I have had the most wonderful experience today at Ashley furniture HomeStore and so grateful for the assistance of Kristine Who helped me with an order that I had mistakenly placed. Not only did she help me correct that order in time, she assisted me in getting another room finished. Mark the manager has been an angel. As a decorator, having great products, great service and a great relationship means the world. Ask for Kristine on your next visit. She was class A!
Purchasing from Ashley Furniture has been one of the worst experiences Ive ever had as a consumer. I bought a bed that was on backorder. After waiting 6 weeks for the bed, it split down the middle after 5 nights of sleeping on it. It had not been installed properly and the slats were pretty scrawny for a king bed (even though Ashley will say that is standard). I called and asked for it to be returned. They informed me that they only replace furniture. Meanwhile my couch arrived, smelling like chemicals. After many telephone conversations, I was told a technician would come out to fix the bed and replace the couch. The day came for the technician to arrive (2-3 weeks after my original complaint) and he never showed up. The Cumming store had not fully processed my request even though they gave me a date and time frame. Again I called and asked for my furniture to be returned. I explained that I didnt want to spend my hard earned money at a store that treats their customers with such disrespect and sells such low quality furniture. I was again told no returns, only replacements. When the technicians finally arrived at my home, they told me they didnt have the couch (it was backordered) and they brought the wrong slats for the bed so they couldnt repair it. I called Ashley Cumming and only after losing my temper on the phone did they decide to process a return. In the midst of all this, I called Ashley corporate for help and they just sent me back to the store. My items were picked up in and returned but a credit was never processed to my card. Its been 3 months since the return! Only after calling the credit card company and filing a dispute has the refund been processed. I just opened the correspondence today and its still wrong. Ashley is trying to charge me $279.99 for a 5-Year Furniture protection plan. First problem, I had asked for the plan to be removed before the furniture was even delivered to me in August. Second problem, why should I have to pay for a protection plan for furniture that I dont even own?! My next call will be back to the credit card company to dispute the charge.I ordered furniture in July and am still dealing with their mistakes in December. I cant begin to explain how much time and energy has been wasted addressing their problems. We took our money to West Elm and have had a wonderful experience. Do yourself a favor and buy your furniture from another company!!
Buyer beware! We purchased furniture in October for December delivery at our new home. It wasnt until, I called to reschedule delivery that I discovered the sales rep had the furniture going to our old home. When the furniture was delivered I did not get everything in the order. I had ordered a centerpiece that the salesman should have allowed me to take with me at the time of the purchase but he assured me it would be shipped. I have made repeated calls to get the centerpiece and even made the 1.5 hr drive to the store. I was told it would be shipped to me in time for Christmas. STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED and every time I call the store or corporate I am put on indefinite hold!!!! The furniture arrived scratched, gouged and one of my chairs was dirty. The good news is they did come out to fix and resolve it promptly and satisfactorily.
I cancelled an order over at this Ashley location over a month ago, and Im still waiting on the store to refund me. The store blames their corporate office and the corporate office says only the store can process. Ive decided Im reporting the store to the FTC for fraud.
My sales woman Vicki was really nice. She introduced herself and ask me what I was interested in, then she led me to the area of (for me, it was leather sofas and love seats). Then she left me to look without pressure for exactly what I liked. When I finished she answered all my questions and informed me of payment options. Overall experience was good and I would recommend.
I wish I could give zero stars. Do not shop here ever! We ordered tables and when they came, they were broken. We returned them to the store and they shipped new ones that were supposed to be delivered later that week. It was a month later and no one knew anything about them. When they finally came we returned them without even opening the box. They credited our credit card for the full amount. Fast forward 3 months....I received 2 phone calls asking questions about where the tables were. I told them that we returned both sets. Now I have received a threatening letter stating that if I dont return the tables that they will turn me into collections. Why would they refund my money if I hadnt returned the tables? Do they really expect me to pay for tables I returned 3 months ago?? Customer service is so rude and I will NEVER buy anything from here again.
I walked in looking to buy a dresser. I was never approached by any sales person. I left and called the store to see if I had any better luck. I was placed on hold and transferred twice. Only to be told the dresser I was looking for would be delivered in about SIX WEEKS..terrible customer service so I just ordered one from amazon instead. It was my first time & last time visiting this store!
My wife and I went into Ashleys last week to look at leather sectionals. Our sales associate Michael Turlington met us at the door and immediately showed us all the leather sections they had available. Michael was very knowledgeable and helpful to find just what were looking for. He was very patient and answered all of my many questions. We usually dont like to make quick decisions plus we needed to wait a few days on another matter to know if we were going to need financing or not and when we told Michael we would need to get back to him in a few days he never pushed us to make a decision. He just made copies of the information we asked for and gave us all the pricing in writing so we could bring it home and think about it. I am in sales so I was just waiting for the hard close to try to get us to make a decision but it never came. My wife and I went to another furniture and did some research on line to make sure we were getting a fair price. I did find the same exact leather sectional on Ashleys website that week for a cheaper price so I went back and saw Michael the next day and he said he could match any price on their site. After he added everything up for the 6 piece set plus adding one extra piece that I wanted plus the tax, the total was more than I was prepared to pay. I told Michael what was the most I was willing to pay including the price, tax and delivery he told me he would talk to his manager to see what they could do. He came right back and said that he was able to get the total down even a little more than I had asked for. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised that we were able to get what we wanted at a reasonable price. On my way out the door I talked to Michaels manager to let him know that I was very impressed with the way I was treated and never pushed to make a quick decision and It was by far the best experience we have had purchasing furniture in the past. Excellent furniture buying experience! From Selection to receipt, everything was as promised.We just purchased a living room table set from Ashley, Ona Lackey was our sales associate today. She did a phenomenal job assisting us with our selection. She even missed her lunch break to ensure we were taken care of.
Our experience was great! We were greeted and helped right away by Melissa Quinn. Unlike other furniture stores she stayed with us until we found the perfect sofa, chair and ottoman. She definitely deserves a 10 for customer service. If we ever need additional furniture in the future we will return to Ashley furniture in Cumming.
We are beside ourselves with the lack of customer service we have received since receiving this coffee table. It was ok during inspection at delivery, but a few hours later, it BREAKS?!I have been on the phone MULTIPLE times trying to get a hold of someone. They said they would send someone out to try and fix it. Their window of service was between 10:30-12:30. It is now almost 3pm! No phone call, no show!!! And here I am AGAIN, waiting on hold to try and talk to a freaking human!!!!We do not want this fixed, we want a new table! One that wont break right away. I am now hearing horror stories about the quality of their furniture and I am sad we bought this and our couch from them.DO NOT BUY FROM Ashleys!!!
It was nice and clean. They have greeters at the door that follow you through in ask you what your needs are. I told the lady working with me that I had particular Nats and she took notes which was wonderful, but after a few minutes I lost her walk through the whole store didnt see her and wound up having to go back to the greeters desk and have that person that was on duty at the time to page her, which she did come up to the front. She did provide me with information that she was looking up and her defense.
Our experience was very good, even though we decided not to get the piece of furniture we looked at. The salesman (Mr. Black) was very professional and knowledgeable. When we canceled our order he was again very helpful and considerate. Would purchase from them in the future.
Rude salesperson.. very awkward experience. Spent $2500 on a dining room set and was treated like an inconvenience. Paid for delivery, but when the 8x10 rug didnt come with the rest of order, I called the store and was told I had to pick it up. Would have been nice to know that earlier on! Quality of furniture questionable... Several chair legs are not finished properly- just rough cut wood on the feet, not sanded/stained like the rest. Delivery guys were great, very gentle with setup, arrived at 7:30 a.m. as promised. **edit** When we did go to pick up the rug, they tried to give us a floor model!! This is not acceptable. Will never shop here again.
We were pleased with the total experience. The sales person listened to our needs and pointed us in the right direction. We made a purchase and scheduled delivery. We needed the furniture delivered to an assisted living community and delivery could not be during lunch or dinner hours. The scheduler was very accommodating and the delivery guys were awesome.
My mom and I came to purchase furniture Stephen Black helped us. He was very knowledgeable and helpful about the furniture. He was also very patient with us (we came in close to closing time). Ordered $3000 worth of furniture.We liked the furniture but the delivery and warehousing service was awful. We were told that our bedroom set delivery could be as early as Dec. 27. We requested Dec. 30 so were in town. On Dec. 30 we were informed that the delivery was on its way but that the headboard was missing. We were told to call back after delivery so that the headboard could be scheduled for the next day. They refused to go ahead and schedule the delivery during the call until everything else was delivered.After everything was delivered we tried to call and schedule a delivery the next day but the office was closed. Between the missing furniture and holidays it took 3 days to get everything where our bedroom was half assembled and chaotic.We were informed that our delivery would be late tuesday as requested. Instead it came first thing in the morning when I was not home and my wife was trying to get ready for her day.I like the furniture but the warehouse ruined the experience for us.
One evening I dragged my husband to the Cumming location shortly after seeing a dresser and mirror online. We were welcomed with a smile and hello by all. I showed Barbara Giardina, our salesperson, the picture of the dresser and mirror on my phone. She immediately brought us to the floor display and even honored the discounted online pricing. She quickly filled out the paperwork and set up our delivery for the end of the week. Minutes later we were on our way! The next day we heard from the delivery department and were offered the opportunity to have our items delivered the next day if wed like. The delivery arrived as scheduled. Our experience, on every level, was of excellence. Thank you to all. We will be back!
Recently purchased a new sectional (and the sales process went well). It arrived with the “leather” backing damaged in a bottom corner. We called the store during hours they were open and got no answer. Then, the power recliner broke (to the point that you can’t sit back in it). This was within two weeks of our purchase. My husband figured out that a bracket that holds the back piece in place was broken. When he had this piece off, we noticed another part where the “leather” had worn off. We had barely sat on the couch a couple times and had not moved it, so we were losing hope that we had made a good purchase. We visited the store and spoke to customer service. We were told that a technician could come out, but that we would not be able to return it or trade it! The technician did come and had to order two new pieces of fabric and a bracket, I assume, to be shipped to our house. In the meantime, we have to wait for the parts to arrive and then call to make another appointment, all when we have company coming to visit. We are very displeased.
My son and I were completely overwhelmed by the wide variety and friendly pricing of everything we saw at Ashley Furniture.We were able to purchase exactly what we needed at half the price and twice the quality.I cant wait to see the furniture in our new home.When we have settled in, I expect to be back to Ashley Furniture to pick up a few things I spotted on our first visit.We are pleased, pleased, pleased with our shopping experience.Carlee Phillips
Nope, nope, nope. Don’t go here. I’ve moved around a lot in the past 10 years. I yearly update our furniture. I have always shopped at Ashley and love it for modern furniture for great price. Since moving here, I’ve received nothing but damaged furniture that has been the biggest issue with customer service to fix. Customer service also never answers the phone, seriously, never. The furniture we received was very cheaply made, which is very different from past experiences. Spend a little bit more and buy quality furniture elsewhere.
Very bad experience, warranty that i bought it was the premium with super high end coverage but it covers only headache. Stuff i bought came with damage technician came, said we will replace it, and nothin. You have to call them fallow them up, spent all your days to be somethin done. Totally worthless and very bad experience. Not advice even to enemy to buy from here.
Selection and Cost -Huge selection of furniture, almost too much to choose from. The sales person was nice friendly and not pushy, which was nice as that allowed us to browse and take our time. The pricing is a little high, we bought during a sale but it didnt feel like I got a great deal. However they had what we were looking for. We could have probably found it somewhere else cheaper, but it may have taken awhile to find it.Delivery -Just as most of the other negative reviews, the delivery got messed up. The automated system that calls you to confirm appointment time doesnt work properly. It calls you but its a dead line. I had to call them back to confirm the delivery. It took them about 2 weeks to get our furniture after we ordered it, but when it was delivered there was still a piece on back order. When they delivered the first time, one of the pieces was damaged and had to be taken back. The warehouse people called me and questioned me on it... like I was the one who damaged it. When they delivered the second time, they were more than an hour past their quoted time frame. Who likes to sit around and wait for 6 hours for furniture to be delivered?Quality -The quality is so so, its not horrible but I would not say that its great. The furniture was brand new but it loose some loose strings. Also there were a few small imperfections in the furniture. Nothing that is highly noticeable, but annoying.

When it was delivered almost 3 months later the table had a mark on the surface where it appeared to have been manufactured incorrectly and the bench had a piece of missing wood where it had broken.After calling Ashley furniture 30 minutes after delivery they insisted on attempting to fix the furniture to Showroom Quality rather than replace it so I reluctantly agreed. The repair man used a crayon, a can of spray lacquer, and glue to try and correct the damage in 10 minutes then left - it looked awful so I called and told Ashley I need a new table and bench and forwarded new photos of the corrected work. Im still waiting for a call back.Rarely does Ashley furniture ever call back when they say they will, every time I call Im placed on hold for 10-20 minutes with no apologies, and the same lackluster customer service. Im on hold right now trying to figure out why its been over a week and still no returned call on my claim.This was my first purchase from Ashley Furniture and last! They do not care about customers or their word, only getting your money. Worst furniture store ever, if I wanted a scratch and dent I wouldve gone to RTG Outlet.
I ordered a bracket kit from ASHLEY Furniture when I bought an adjustable base. I called Leyla at the store customer service and she was going to have to call me back. The warehouse was checking on the product. I decided to make a 5 minute drive to check on my order. When I arrived Leyla referred me to Mark to verify the product had come in. In a short time Mark returned with the brackets I had ordered. I would rate the professionalism exceptional that Mark and Leyla exhibited. If there is ever any question on purchases please give this store and employees a shop. They earn your business. Thanks Mark and Leyla.
Worst !!!!We were looking for night stand, so visited Ashley showroom which is just 0.2 (Market Place Blvd Cumming, GA) from my house.We like night stand & decided to purchase, when inquire to sales guy, he said, it will cost $ 69 Per Piece for shipping, really !!!! This night stand cost $ 110 and shipping $ 69 ? Come on , grow up !!!I said, I can pick -up my own, when it arrive to showroom. He said, no that is not possible.So inquired about Online Purchase, he said, you can try that but if case of any return due to arrive in damage will cost you $ 69, here he was actually lying, just to make his own sale.When I called call center to if they call customer for shipping on damage return, executive said, no, they don’t.So I decided to purchase online, in week time night stand arrive and one was broken, so called customer care for replacement. They send replacement today , which also came broken !!!! Second Time !!!I again called customer care to check if they can send to nearby showroom or with some better packing, answer was no, so only option was to ask for replacement. Just did it , hoping it will come in good condition.But Ashley…. This was first and last purchase I made. I will not even give one rating to you !!!I have never seen such worst service in my life.For me Ashely , THE WORLD CLASS FURNITURE COMPANY , is THE THIRD CLASS FURNITURE COMPANY.
Great quality and service. Our salesperson, Ashley, was great. Excellent selection and prices. We almost didnt buy from Ashley due to seeing bad reviews regarding the delivery service, but our delivery was flawless- on time with plenty of notice and reminders beforehand. The 2 gentlemen who brought and set up our new table were nice and professional. Would shop here again.
Quite possibly the WORST service I have ever received. 5/15 furniture was delivered broken, they took it back. said I would have to call customer care to reschedule, we had paid for premium delivery. called customer care, told me they couldnt do anything til the next day. I had taken an entire day off of work for this. I explained this, and was told I would be called back the following morning at 9am sharp to rescheduled. 5/16 the next day, 10:45 am no call back, I called in myself to discover I had been rescheduled for the following Friday over a week later. I asked what the earliest date was and they told me the next Tuesday. not only was i not notified, but I was also not prioritized as a messed up delivery. Then, they told me they could not compensate me for the premium delivery, the store would have to do that. Called 5/16 to the store and was told the managers were in a meeting. I asked to be called back, no call back.5/17 called again, got told the managers were busy, and got put on hold for 8 minutes until I was disconnected. No call back.Contacted customer care again on 5/28 and told the store has to handle it. Called again today 5/30 and was told the manager was busy again, I left my name and phone number again. Thank you to Manisha who was actually very nice, but Im just hoping I finally get a call back to get compensation for the delivery fee. Please dont waste your time here, god forbid something goes wrong good luck getting in touch with someone.
I had a very bad Experience with this store.I ordered a Dresser with Mirror(Kids) for my 5 Year old daughters Birthday on 08/27. The delivery never happened and toady is 09/27.Funny thing is no one can tell me when will this be delivered and that is the funniest thing I heard.They charged me $746 and now no one from the store knows what to do .I will really asked everyone to check before going to the store as you will not expect any customer Support after you have paid.
I bought a $3,000 bed set and 3 out of the 4 pieces delivered were damaged. I have now made 30 calls to the Cumming store and to customer service. I scheduled a technician to come out and the day comes and they have no record of me. A woman leaves me a voicemail that someone is coming out to my house the next day, I did not okay it, so I spoke to a manager who said they would call me back to cancel the appointment after spending 45 minutes on hold trying to cancel it myself, the manager said she would call me back but never did. I then wake up to a man knocking at my door at 8am with no notice. Then at 11am another shows up and “fixes” my furniture with black spray paint (the furniture is gray). When the first technician came out I sent him away for I wasn’t ready, I called the Cumming store and talked to the girl at the desk and she said she would call me back, nope, no call back. Now I’m having to go out of my way to get the furniture replaced that shouldn’t have been delivered damaged in the first place. Will never buy fuy from Ashley again. Worst customer service I have ever seen.
If I could rate this a 0 I would. I have been dealing with being an u satisfied customer for almost two years now. It started with the delivery company running over our freshly laid sod and landscape boulders and plants. Filed a claim. Took 7 months for anyone to come out and inspect the damage after we and the driver filed a claim. After getting the runaround they finally sent a one man crew to come “fix” the damage. After 6 months of owning our sectional couch that was sold to us as quality that will uphold anything and last for several years, the cushions and pillows on the back became lumpy and unattractive. The material itself was pilling and wearing thin. This is unacceptable for a family who sits on the couch maybe two times a week an hour or two at most. Filed a repair order and they have sent someone out to “fluff” my pillows/cushions (that were supposed to have a double layer of cushion) two seperate times. They told me that they can do this as many times as I would like. I should not have to put in a service order every couple of months, stay Home and wait on a service tech to come out every couple of months. This continued on until the manufacturers warranty ran out. Now that this has occurred the refuse to help with anything or even offer a partial credit to purchase a couch I can live with. Even though I originally complained about this 6 months in. Basically do not take their word on the quality or you will be let down. Their customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. I am not one to write reviews or complain but this has defiantly rubbed me the wrong way and I will do whatever I can to make sure none of my family or friends purchase from Ashley Furniture.
Really enjoyed my experience at the Ashley Homestore in Cumming. Ona, my sales associate was phenomenal beyond what words could say. She was very polite and cheerful, and not pushy like your typical salesman. She was extremely knowledgeable in her field, because there was not one question that she was unable to answer. And being the very particular shopper that I am, I had plenty of questions for her. Delivery went just as promised and she even called the day after my delivery to make sure everything was to my satisfaction and thank me for my business. My dining room looks beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Thank you Ona for making my experience one for the books. I will definitely be back to shop with her again.
Worst service and an incredibly horrible experience. Their delivery team scratched up my walls, dirtied up my bathrooms and brand new carpet in 2 bedrooms. The first question out of their mouth was Where the bathroom at Then all of them took turns 10 to 15 min taking dumps unloading their chick filet lunch. Then they used no sheets, padding, shoe covers, resulting in scratching walls and dirty footprints all over. I left messages with the saleswoman Vikki Barth but she will not return our calls or texts. She is terrible. Finally I got thru to Tyler the office manager and he did get a steam cleaning company to come in the morning.After the steam cleaners left (btw they were nice and did a good job) our C02 alarm went off. After 20 min we called the Fire dept and Ga natural gas. Both advised us the levels are too high and for us to evacuate for the night. After checking for leaks they both stated the c02 was from the steam cleaners truck which had to be running to power their appliances. Now we had tocheck into a hotel for the night. We called Ashley to reauest them to pick up their furniture and issue a full refund. their response was read the bottom of the receipt....no refunds I reached out to Tyler again and filed a bbb.. At this point I want them to pick up the furniture and want a full refund. I dont want to give them the businesss. Displacing my 2 sick parents is a huge struggle and with the additional expenses for the hotel and hassle just is unacceptable.Ashley furniture / Cumming store is the worst place you can go t . Go to the one in Northpoint/ Alpharetta if you like their product . Be warned the Cumming store has the worst post sales service. You will regret it.
Just had a great experience with this store. Our sales guy was Stephen Black... Efficient, courteous, knowledgeable, no pressure. Best of all hes in the National Guard. We will be back to pick up another piece or two. See Stephen Black at this Ashley store and he will,take great care of you.

2022-05-13WORST experience I have had with a store. I ordered end tables about 2 months ago. I understand it takes a long time to get furniture right now. HOWEVER, Ashley is taking the money out of my account every 6 days. Then puts it back, and takes it out again, and puts it back.so better have that extra money waiting in your account at all times. They don’t tell you that will happen ahead of time and will happen until the item ships. Which for me is not until July. customer service said “oh well, company policy. Want to just cancel your order?”Great service, Ashley.

However, just know that the fine print in the delivery contract basically gives them a license to tell you a date for delivery, and then not honor it...and theres nothing you can do about it. In our case they have now done this to us 3 times in this order. They now tell us itll be another 11 days.

2022-06-07Waited around all day for a loveseat that never came. Sat on hold twice, both for over 45min, and they finally just hung up on me. Used the messaging feature and finally the guy told me that the driver decided he wasnt going to make the delivery. Thats it. No reason. No phone call. Nothing. Just a wasted day sitting waiting for nothing. I will NEVER use Ashley Furniture again!
