I was surprised from the time I walked through the door...the doorman and staff were so helpful and pleasant ! I had very short wait time at each visit and the nurses were very attentive and efficient. Doctor Joe Johnson was awesome and the surgery went very well. There was an issue with insurance but after follow up it was resolved. I highly recommend Athens Orthopedic Clinic and wish I had worked closer to have attended their physical therapy program as Id heard others rave about the treatment and care.
I just completed a 102 mile hike on an Athens Ortho reconstructed ACL, two Athens Ortho artificial hips and with an Athens Ortho surgically repaired elbow. To say that I could not have done it without the great doctors and staff at Athens Ortho is to state the obvious. These are great people whom I highly recommend.
Had a great experience. Dr Steve Johnson. and staff were very professional and attentive to my needs. I had some shoulder surgery needed and the Dr. described the procedure and gave me all the information I needed to make an informed decision. Post-surgery follow ups and therapy were treated with equal professionalism and efficiency. I would not hesitate to recommend the staff to anyone needing orthopedic surgery in the Athens area.
This is a first for me. I was treated extremely flippantly, told the wrong time for my appointment, PA was oozing arrogance and frankly acted like a jerk, by the time the nurse came in to splint my arm I was in tears of frustration (She was very kind). Called today to change the doctor I was seeing and I cant get a hold of anyone- when I finally did he was short, said they would have to call me back, and hung up. Im sure many people have great experiences there but Ive never been somewhere where I felt so much like a box to be checked. All of that being said, when I called to file a complaint, I was greeting with an extreme amount of gracious understanding, and the promise that the issue would be addressed! I would encourage anyone who has a similar experience to speak up, as I trust the input will be well received, and hopefully lead to more patient centered care in the future
My experience was really disappointing here.I understand that the doctor is busy with many other schedules. But, she did not even want to listen to my symptoms or descriptions carefully. As soon as she came in, she rushed to finish the appointment.I felt very embarrassed. It might not be important to her, but Id been waiting to get her advice on my issue for several weeks.Id better find another doctor.
Dr. Johnsons expertise both as a surgeon and as a care giver is without match. He is attentive, courteous, and laughs at my jokes. The nursing staff here is beyond excellent. I actually look forward to my appointments because they are so nice. I could not be happier with my experience with Athens Orthopedic.
My recent visit was informative and very helpful. I was dealing with wrist pain and was not sure what exactly was causing the inflammation. The doctor was great at helping me figure out what activities in particular were causing it. He spent time with me and was genuinely interested in the things I do every day to help or hurt my condition.
My experience with Athens Orthopedics has been very positive. The office staff and nursing staff are professional and thorough. They return calls promptly. The doctors have been a real pleasure to work with - Dr. Stephen Johnson and Dr. Katz. Both are easy to talk with and listen carefully to what Im telling them about my condition. I highly recommend them.
I absolutely hated every part about my experience with this clinic except for my actual visit with my doctor. If i was in front of my doctor, I was happy. But you do not understand how difficult it has been to get in front of my doctor. Communication has been absolutely horrid. I wont go into more details about their horrible customer service but, that was one of many issues I encountered while they continued to take money out of my pocket. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Dr JJ is great! Ali is as great too! Having such a supportive team working with us through my surgery and recovery has been such a blessing. All who have interacted with us at DR Js office have been wonderful. Everyone understands what I am feeling and is very respectful and quick in action when I have had questions or issues. Ali for physical therapy is a complete dream! She made me hurt but explained each pain and was very understanding of where the pain came from and explained where it was suppose to come from what shed do so that we could get to where I needed and wanted to be. They even offer to show you a good workout regimen once you are done with therapy sessions, I was told they have a gym membership so youd be seen by one of their specialists and they could show you what to do and then go from there but I am not sure the cost yet. I am sure its pricy but the way this staff has been I am more than certain it is worth it!
I sprained my right knee..finally went to Athens orthopedic clinic (Husband used them and loved them) So I finally called. Immediately had an appointment set. Saw Kelly Ward next day....He explained to e exactly what happened and what to do. Better in 2 weeks feel like a new person. loved them. The office staff was the best That I have see in a dr.,office in a while.. Marci Brown
I had a great experience at AOC. I used to go there more when I was younger and playing sports and they were wonderful then too. They were very helpful and got me seen relatively quickly and on my way back to work. Mary Catherine, a PA, is great to work with! Great personality and very friendly!
We have never had anything but a good experience at Athens Orthopedic! The front desk people are friendly and the Doctors and PAs always do a great job explaining everything to my kids. Twice I have called or emailed the clinic after a visit to tell them how pleased we were with a specific person we encountered. I highly recommend Athens Orthopedic and, believe me, we have had plenty of opportunities to experience their services.
The staff is nice and friendly, and the facilities are very well maintained. They scheduled me promptly for surgery after my tendon was severed one Saturday. The reason I wont give them a higher score is their billing. Having worked in healthcare a while, I was floored that they charged me $30,000 for an outpatient procedure in which I only received local anesthetic and was out in less than an hour. For physical therapy, they incorrectly billed my insurance 4 times at 250-500 dollars per session. These sessions were less than hour every time and I was seen at the same time as another patient. Post-op followups were supposed to be free as well, but they still billed my insurance and charged me a 45 dollar specialist copay.Sadly, my finger scarred terribly, so I require more surgery. I cant afford another 30K surgical bill for an outpatient procedure, so Im shopping around. In other words, if you want it done right and you are willing to pay a lot for it, go to them.
Terrible customer service from the minute you walk in the door to the minute you walk out. I was discharged from hand therapy and my appointment was canceled without anyone notifying me. No one seems to really care about the patients, they only seem to care about getting your money. Now I am a part of the breach that has occurred and the letter was very poorly written and they are doing nothing to help protect my identity. Would not recommend to anyone. I am now going to Athens bone and joint and they are great! I had one visit with Athens Bone and Joint and finally have clarity with a diagnosis.
Dr. Kelly Ward and staff are great. Kellys knowledge, care and bedside manner far exceeded my expectations. I have been well taken care of during a frustrating shoulder injury. Granted, my first visit brought frustration however, at my second visit I realized my perception was clouded; nobody could have made me happy my first go around after a long night of pain and sleep deprivation. Some reviews mention long wait time for appointments. I consider emergencies as well as the high demand for high quality healthcare. If no one is waiting to see a physician I conclude they are unqualified. That being said, I have had to wait some, but more often I am in and out. I highly recommend Athens Orthopedic Clinic to anyone in need of excellent care.
Good staff, very organized, wonderful second knee replacement by Dr. Mahoney. St. Marys hospital stay was great with good staff. The only problem? The new guidelines for pain management. I am a physicians wife, seventy and not a drug addict. That said, the physicians hands are now tied as to what and how much medication they give for pain. I was in pain, it was not necessary. Before you schedule any kind of surgery, be aware of these restraints. Again, it is not the physicians. It is the feds and the state so write them to protest. I did.
It was what I calledhey wanted visit because no one wants to have a broken bone but under the circumstances it was very very outstanding visit the staff was really really sensitive to my needsand they did everything possible to make me comfortable in my visit and they handle things in a timely manner the doctor was fantastic he came in showed me what was going on with my legsand gave me a lot of information that I needed to improve my recovery you could not ask for anymore thank you Athens outpatient Center for all you did for me in my visit
I had surgery on my shoulder here. The surgery was fine. The surgeon was knowledgeable and did a great job. Afterwards the billing is what caused me the headache.Basically, like everyone else in the world we are hurting for money and budget every dollar. We got the quote up front, saved up and budgeted for the amount. We were quoted a price and we paid it up front. No one ever said there were separate billing for the different doctors. So that was a point of issue when we started getting additional bills from anesthesia doctors and such. Which we are in the hole for a few hundred dollars. After a few months, we received a refund for some of the money we paid for the surgery. Feeling apprehensive after dealing with doctors in the past, we waited and waited and finally called about it. We were told that it was our money and we did not owe anything else to AOC. I thought it was either an insurance issue or part of the misquote, either way I was told we were paid up and we were happy.Fast forward 2 months and guess what we get, a bill for $700, and it was overdue. Now we are back to square one and still in the hole for the surgery and still owe money to other doctors. This has been the worst experience we have ever had.Quick edit: As it turns out, there are three different bills that I knew nothing about. So now the original quote is 2/3 wrong! How can you get a quote without getting the whole thing?Absolutely not recommending this office to anyone!
I was treated by Dr. Price and Dr. Hu for my chronic lower back pain. I was able to make my appointments easily without delay. Dr. Price was very knowledgeable and had a great bedside manner. My appointment with Dr. Hu was just as great! All of the staff was very nice, knowledgeable and empathetic to my chronic pain. Dr. Price referred me to physical therapy where I was treated by Mike. I had tried PT in the past without success - Mike was able to pinpoint exactly what was going on and help me control my pain and eventually make it go away. Thank you AOC! :)
So, I do not usually do this because I do not believe in trashing a business just because of a bad experience, but 5 bad experiences changed my mind. My right hip was replaced by Dr. Ormond Mahoney in 6/2016. Other than an incision that looked like a 1st-year medical student closed it (and yes, I can judge as a veterinarian who has NEVER sent an animal home post op with a 1/4 inch gap between the skin edges), things seemed okay. I went back to work 8/2016 and while sitting at my desk, my hip replacement spontaneously dislocated. A trip to the ER and a difficult replacement later, I went for a recheck and Dr. Mahoney had no idea why I was even there. I was told it was a fluke. In 10/2016, I was in Gatlinburg, TN for a veterinary conference and went to get out of the hotel bed the first morning and my hip replacement dislocated again. Trip to the ER and a 5+ hour trip for my husband and my elderly father to come to get me since I could not drive and I was back at AOC and, again, Dr. Mahoney did not know why I was in the office when he entered the exam room. 2 weeks later I am having revision surgery and missing another 4 weeks of work. FYI, they increased the femoral head size by more than 75% (does that tell you anything?). After the first dislocation was reduced, I noticed I was having severe knee pain in my right knee intermittently especially on stairs or even mild hills. Dr. Mahoneys PA ordered a knee MRI and when I never heard the results, I called to make an appointment to discuss them with Dr. Mahoney. I arrived for that appointment and when they took me to x-ray and took radiographs of my hip, I told the technicians I was not there for my hip and was only 5 weeks post revision. They were very confused and took the hip rad anyway. Dr. Mahoney blew into the exam room, announced my hip looked great and I should not need to see him anymore and tried to leave the room. When I stopped him and informed him I was there to review my knee MRI, he had NO IDEA that I had even had an MRI on my knee. He read the radiologists report for the first time in front of me in the exam room and decided I needed an HA injection. I PAID FOR and took the MRI to another surgeon for review and a loose body was discovered in my knee joint. I had arthroscopic knee surgery in 2/2017 to remove it. So, the icing on the cake, 4 months or so ago I get a bill from AOC for $10.00 dated 3/2016 (yes, in JUNE 2018). I call and am told that an outside auditor discovered this and I am being billed for medical records I requested. FYI, you do not leave AOC without paying whatever you owe them and any time I asked for records I paid cash. Now I am being threatened with a collection agency over $10.00 even though 2016 was the year from hell for me because of AOC. Oh yeah, I almost forgot that now I have bursitis in my right hip due to the implant rubbing. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS!!
I have had 6 orthopedic surgeries in my young life, and I am actually upset that I am moving away from Athens because I will no longer be able to have Dr. Register as my physician. He is smart, genuine, caring, and gave me the smallest scar! You will not find a better surgeon in Athens.
The service and smiles were great from the first Mr. Durham can we to the Bob Barker, Luther come on back. Hey you got to hurt your hand just so you can have Karl K. see you. Hey explained methods and possibles that really calmed me down. I never wanted to rush back to a doctors office. But at Athens Orthopedic, I cant wait to go back,
I am VERY disappointed in the experiences Ive had at the SPARC center of Athens Orthopedic Clinic. For several weeks I was told by staff responsible for paperwork that they didnt know the cost of my visits, but that I should get a bill in the mail soon. Come to find out months after I stopped therapy for this very reason all bills had been sent to an address I never even lived at. I then got a phone call the week of Christmas saying that I owed over $500. After setting up a payment plan to cover my bill, I then, several months later, received a phone call from a debt collector saying that there are other bills that have now been turned over to debt collection services. Hmmm, perhaps the AOC employee who set up the payment plan should have included this?!?! In yet another attempt to get this settled and finally cut ties with AOC I call and leave a message for the office manager explaining the series of events and I have yet to receive a call back. I will NEVER return or recommend this clinic to anyone, and its a shame because the treatment I received was top of the line. However, the administration of these services was unbelievable. My hope at this point is that the office manger, HR, or SOMEONE cares more about their Google Reviews than they do about voicemail messages and someone might finally put forth effort in solving a problem AOC has created but I have suffered the consequences of.
I am very dissatisfied with staff at AOC! My surgeon Dr. Register, his PA, and my physical therapist Paul have been great. Dr. Registers nurse, however, I am not pleased with. When I initially tried to schedule my surgery with her she NEVER CALLED ME BACK! I left multiple message for weeks and nothing which affected my FMLA. A different PA in the office scheduled it and she was rude when I voiced that no one would return my calls. I needed additional FMLA paper work.and the only person who could help me was the nurse. The FMLA department emailed her and I also left a message for her and SHE STILL DID NOT CALL OR EMAIL ME! My physical therapist Paul had to get the info from her and she did the paper work incorrectly. I called the HR department to file a complaint and no one has called me back. I will never return to this office for any other surgery. I dont fault Dr. Register because he is very nice a polite but I would rather be seen by a surgeon whose staff is more considerate and responsive. Even the lady taking my payment for the surgery was short and borderline abrasive.
I had not only one but two surgeries performed on my right and left wrists by Dr. Shuler at Athens Orthopedic. My opinion of him and his staff is in one word...Amazing! He helped me feel calm even though I was anxious and scared about both surgeries. He shared his experience with me when he had the same surgeries on his wrists years ago. After the first one, I called the office to ask questions about swelling and they put me at ease and listened to me and my concerns. The follow up appts were very easy and his staff is very knowledgable. My second surgery was a breeze. I had both carpal tunnel release and Dequervaines release surgery on my wrists. His sense of humor was great and his skill as a surgeon was exceptional. I will and have been reccommending him to friends and even strangers that have mentioned trouble with carpal tunnel symptoms. You will not be disappointed with Dr. Shuler or Athens Orthopedic Clinic!!!! They beyond exceeded my expectations in every way!
Staff is very courteous, facilities are well maintained. Locating a parking place can be a challenge and then attempting to exit the vehicle when injured or elderly is another challenge.Great place to go for treatment if you have an obvious injury, not so good if your injury doesnt fit into a pigeon hole and some diegnostic medicine is required.
My son was a patient here after a bad motorcycle wreck. The helpful staff got him in for an appointment within 48 hours of his release from the hospital. This facility is wonderful because they have the ortho clinic, MRI suite, ambulatory surgery center, and physical therapy department all on site. This helps each team provide coordinated, specialized care to fit each patients needs. Dr. Johnson performed my sons surgery and rebuilt his ligament (among other repairs)and I cant say enough about his surgical skills. The surgery center is top notch. The physical therapy is great, as is their sparc gym for P.T. His physical therapist, Eric, was very knowledgable and compassionate. I am very greatful for the care they provided and would recommend them to anyone needing ortho care or surgery.
Dr. Tally is unprofessional unethical and has no empathy or compassion. He gets paid for not providing any helpful service at all. The lack of compassion and respect is appalling. He has minimized my situation and pretty much made a mockery of me. I do not recommend him under any circumstances and will further investigate to see if there’s and prejudice at play as he abruptly discontinued my treatment two days before a scheduled procedure he not only recommended but was going to perform. He is a horrible excuse for a physician and displays no care or regard for others
Doctor Shuler and Doctor Ogburn dealt with me for over a year trying to get me back on my feet. Literally! I couldnt ask for better doctors to take the time, and most of all listen to me about the issues I had! I would definitely recommend them in your trauma and hand specialty needs! After I believe 6 different surgeries, I couldnt thank them enough!!!K.Smith- EMTP
Excellent patient care. My name is Dorothy Ingram. I am from Alabama. While visiting my kids in Snellville I hurt my foot. My daughter told methere was a place that a friend of hers use up the street that was very good.My daughter took her advice and we went to Athens Orthopedic Clinicin Snellville. I enjoyed my visit. The Staff from the frontdoor to the back were very attentive . Dr. John Campbell took care of me.This is the first time I can say I felt I was the center of attention. He listen tome and talk to me as if he knew me. I am happy to say my visit was healingand I am doing fine.If you want to go where you are treated like family this is the place. Ihad a great experience and the care was EXCELLENT!
Dr. Levitt here at Athens Orthopedic Clinic is one of the most deceitful doctors I have ever dealt with in my life for approximately 15 months he begged me to have surgery on my neck I was in an automobile accident recently Entertain You injuries to my neck and back and he told me I did not need surgery of any kind I got up and walked out of his office and called him a liar and then today I got a copy of my medical records and he had posted lies on there about my medications as well as my care and said that he cancelled me and urged me to have surgery on my back that it would help me he is a ball faced liar and I will tell him to his fac
These people are a bunch of crooks! Separating the Dr. bills from the surgery bills from the anesthesia bills allows them to misquote prices for procedures, then charge outlandish fees after the fact!! I was quoted $418 for a minor, outpatient surgery procedure; but after the fact, I have been charged a total of $1,445 for the quoted procedure!! Do not take the risk!! Take your business somewhere else!
The many negative comments here reflect my experience with Athens Orthopedic Clinic too. over billing at the highest level. making simple problems into hard expensive problems in order to bilk the insurance company and you. plus they frightened my child along the way. these guys can work the billing cycle on both ends. they should be investigated.
As already stated by other users..these people do not contact you for a payment due. I saw this on my credit report 4 YEARS LATER!! NEVER CALLED, MAILED, SMOKE SIGNALED, NOTHINGI! Iwill hope to all that is holy to NEVER do business with them again. It is by far ridiculous you have to leave such a remark on healthcare professionals. Perhaps look into hiring new office associates who do their jobs? I think so.
The m.o. here is to recheck and re-radiograph 45 times (cha-ching,cha-ching, cha-ching). Forget seeing a doctor unless you play football at UGA. Us commoners will see a PA, and the PAs are a total box of chocolates - some good, some bad. Some rely totally on x-rays, without even pretending to do a physical exam. Went around the bend with these people with my sons sports-related knee injury for a couple months and never got a definitive diagnosis. Finally asked pediatrician for a referral and he sent us to a pediatric orthopedist in Lawrenceville which was well worth the drive. There were no pediatric orthopedists on staff at AOC. AOCs weekend urgent care clinic is a good thing for emergencies. I also had a good experience there once with physical therapy. But generally we avoid this place if at all possible.
I had a wonderful experience with Jennifer Morlock in Spine Therapy! She was compassionate, patient, and kind. She made sure I understood the reasoning behind her treatment plan, and gave me ways to continue therapy on my own. I have recommended her to many friends and family members.
Always a great experience at AOC, but today....Robin Watts really took it to another level. She is clearly hard-working, kind, funny and above all eager to make her patients 100% comfortable & happy. My 12 year old son (the patient) said as we were leaving....she was AWESOME! Thanks to AOC & Robin!!!!!
Over the years, and sadly, I have had many broken bones. First was from a bad motorcycle accident in March of 2012. Many injuries and I was in Athens Regional hospital for 13 days. Dr. Ogburn skillfully performed surgery on my left clavicle and right humerus. Many screws and plates. Required extensive physical therapy which Trey Scott supervised. Even went to bat for me when the insurance people wanted to stop the physical therapy prematurely. My recovery, thanks to the AOC folks, was nearly 100%.Next, in November 2013, I slipped on my deck and fractured my right fibula and was expertly cared for again. No surgery and just a cast. I was back at the gym working out again in just a few months.January 2015, I tripped and fell over backwards and landed on my right elbow. My humerus was shattered in many pieces. Dr. Ogburn surgically repaired it with plates and screws. And within one week the pain had subsided enough to where my pain meds were seldom needed. I attribute this to skillful surgery. As a frequent flyer of AOC, My wife and I always have had prompt and courteous dealings with all personnel at AOC. I would not go anywhere else.
Dr Hancock changed my life for the better! As a personal trainer and professional boxer I count on my body everyday to make a living. I was not able to lift my arms all the way up without lots of pain in my shoulders, I had rotator cuff tears in both shoulders. Now they feel better than ever and I have had 7 fights since the surgery. Dr.Hancock explained the surgery procedures very well, the surgery went great !! He is very kind and I will always go back to him for help if I need it, I am very grateful to have Dr.Hancock as my surgeon, he is the best...I love him and owe my health to him. Thank you Dr. Hancock.Chris JordanAthens Ga.
I recieved a call from a debt collector saying I owed $2800.00 this was after I called in april, to AOC, and paid them in full. On may 8, they turned 17 ACCOUNTS over to collections, after I had paid them in full. No invoice was ever sent out, and they had never tried to call me or reach out to me before turning me over to collections. I will never recommend or do business with this place again.
$6000+ for a simple ingrown toe nail. what should have been a doctors office visit and nail cutting, was treated like major surgery to inflate the billing to the insurance company. NOT RECOMMENDED. simply the silliest, most expensive, unnecessary medical procedure imaginable. lights, camera, action -- show biz surgery. NOT RECOMMENDED. gaming the system to maximize profits.
This team has more than just a few stellar caregivers! Our son has been in great hands- astute assessment by Kelly Ward PA for multiple injuries, prompt and loving care by Dr Shuler and nurse Krystal, the sweetest CRNA Ms Karen and so much more! Clean, appopriate, and competent. My side advice for you is to bring your X-rays on a disk as they will want to take their own and this can prevent extra cost/exposure to you unnecessarily.

2022-08-18I met Dr. Price after 10 days of terrible sciatic nerve pain. He listened to me- I truly felt heard. After testing, medication and a bit of time, I received an epidural injection. It was a pain free experience in a very inviting environment. After just 24 hours, I’m almost completely pain free! Dr. Price has treated me with compassion and care. He has treated the immediate issue, and has a plan for moving forward. I totally recommend him for anyone! Thankful to be his patient.

2022-06-16They need to change their rules especially in summer, its ridiculous that I have to wait in the car outside for 3 hours in this kind of heat for my husband surgery, we live about 2 hours away and theres no way I can go home and wait at home.

2021-05-06Dr. Price is a fantastic physician, and I am so appreciative of the help that he gave me. He has an incredible bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable about the treatment I needed. As surgical expertise is unmatched. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends and family.

2021-02-13Athens Orthopedic Clinic has major billing and communication problems. On two diffeent occasions my appointment was changed without talking to me first or even notifying me. After spending over $6,000 on surgery and rehab they sent a $34 bill to collections. Even though I had several appointments between the time I was billed $34 and it was sent to collections. I paid my deductable each appointment and was never told I owed $34. On three occasions after surgery I had concerns and left messages for the nurse. Once they were quick to return my call but twice I had to call the office after 48 hours and complain to get a call back. The thing is AOC has really good doctors and nurses but clearly lacks office leadership. Its just a real pain in the neck to.do.business with them.

2019-07-02If I could give 10 stars I would! My family and I were blown away at the care I received yesterday from not only my wonderful doctor but each and every staff member of the surgery center. It was my first surgery and they explained every move they made in detail and made sure my comfort came above all else. They are truly the model that all medical offices, doctors, and centers should strive to be. I am more than thankful for the experience. They even made sure I was completely comfortable with leaving the facility before discharging me with detailed instructions and equipment. We were so very blessed to have found them.

2019-07-10Alright, the only reason they didnt get one star from me is because all the people in hand therapy and the staff who work the desk are incredibly friendly and kind.On the negative, the billing system makes ZERO sense to those of us on the outside. There are several different departments responsible for all the different services and its challenging to keep track of who you owe what and no department can look at what you owe in a different department so you have to call EVERYONE. Its frustrating at best. Also, Ive never seen a doctor within 40 minutes of my appointment time. Even when my appointment is at 7:10am and theres no reason for them to be behind. The doctor comes in and talks to you for less than 2 minutes and then moves on.It feels like the number of appointments scheduled are unnecessary and while you feel obligated to go to them, you also just feel like theyre trying to take your money. So, while the people are nice, the business at a whole feels like they care more about your money than you.

2021-12-24The operation was very efficient and so far the results of the procedure are very good. Communication from the staff was excellent and compassionate regarding the status of my wife.

2019-03-01I went to Dr Cochran for hand surgery in December and I have been extremely pleases with the results. Dr Cochran and his nurse were helpful in coordinating with the hospital and they were very kind and caring through this process.I also had ankle surgery 3 years ago at the Athens Orthopedic Clinic, with Dr Mason Florence, and I found the same degree of excellence with both the doctor, the nurse, and the office staff. If I have another need for surgery, I would not hesitate to return to the Athens Orthopedic Clinic.

2020-09-17I’ve been having lower back pain for several years and have tried many things short of surgery. Dr. Price suggested an epidural. I’ve never had one but was willing to try most anything. The staff was very professional and Dr. Price told me what he was going to do as he did it. Great experience. Now hope it helps.

2019-03-04We have always had a wonderful experience with Athens Orthopedic Clinic. Dr. Katz along with the nurses and staff have always been caring and concerned no matter how busy they are. Megan, Yessi, Christine and Shtorri were smiling and friendly. Crystal and Allie were kind and competent. My husband went to Dr. Register with an issue. Betty and Lupe were friendly and smart. The nurses Heather and Kara were sweet and organized. Later, Connor from the Imaging Center called to give us some information for the upcoming issue. I spoke to DeAnnabout the upcoming situation and she assured me that it would be resolved after some research. Thank you all!
