We stopped by to grab some BBQ and were not disappointed. The staff was extremely friendly and it was some of the best BBQ weve had in Atlanta. Its a little drive through place, so be prepared to take your food to go otherwise there is a little area with patio seating that you can eat at.
I was craving BBQ and found this place close to work, convenient drive thru. BBQ did not disappoint, very tasty.Baked beans and potato salad are ok, Mac and cheese not so much.Prices are decent, I think I will come back to try ribs and another side.I would add welcoming smiles to the customer service ladies.
Flavor is here! Ive been in the south 4 weeks and havent really had good BBQ yet. Now I have. ATL Fusion does it right. Flavor so good, you dont need sauce. Good smoke on the ribs. Unique mango baked beans which I loved. The mac and cheese was on point. Solid bbq spot. Will be my go to. The price was nice as well.
The food is absolutely disgusting. We order the Turkey Ribs 03/13/2022. The turkey ribs taste like seasoned salt & drowned in bbq sauce. Whom ever they hired to make the food should be fired ! The sides were disgusting as well. Green beans were like mushy baby food, yams taste like spoil yogurt & the corn on the cobb should have been left in the corn field. What a absolute waste of money, time, energy & gas. I will never visit here again. Im given 1 start because the staff was nice.
Food was not good. The Mac and cheese was dry and bland like it had been sitting out all day. Rib tips were burnt and the nachos that we ordered with all the fixin’s sadly disappointed. No corn and no beans like they had listed on the menu. They gave us tortilla chips with cold queso cheese. This spot just wasn’t good. Still on the hunt for some great BBQ!
Visited herb rib shack. I left there and went right to Atlanta Fusion. I was treated unpleasant at herbs, served burned over cooked food that was burned black at herbs. I had a problem placing order. No one there spoke English it ended up to me having to point to the menu for what I wanted. I wont visit herbs again. Overall food quality at herbs was -9. Very unprofessional, no one wore a mask. Stick to Atlanta Fusion, you get a larger quantity and fresh food to go, and there is also outside sitting. WARNING If you place an oder at a restaurant and they throw you the bag without asking you to check your food, its probably no good, or they are serving you bad food. I give herbs rib shack a -9. 🤮
This was THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD HERE TODAY. Not only are the workers rude and wanting to be rush you and your order, the line is wrapped around the building with a total of about 8 workers outside by the bbq pit talking showing each other videos, to top it off we were in line for 30 minutes just to get a horrible sand which which but the way had barley 3/4 of cup of chicken yea it was that small I could measure it. Hire people that understand the food industry.
I learned of this place on Tic Tok. We had the pick 2. The ribs and chicken was extremely dry with no seasoning. The Mac and cheese, yams, and baked beans were horrible . Completely disappointed and will never return . Only thing that was good was the strawberry lemonade which is 😔.l would not recommend this to a friend.
I’m sorry I really wanted to support and had high hopes but the food was absolutely disgusting!! Ribs had no flavor, chicken sucked I’m not even confident all the meat was done. My daughter end up sick on the toilet, I’m assuming from the rib tips. The meats can’t be marinated and the sides are just plain not good. The peach cobbler is a joke. Literally went to the trash..
Went to Atlanta Fusion for the 1st time today. We were greeted with a smile and told to look over the menu and to let her know if I had any question. We decided to get the pulled pork combo which is 8.00. It comes with two side. My daughter got the smoked mac and cheese and mango baked beans and I got mac n cheese and corn on the cobb. The sandwich was huge the bread was fresh and there was a ton of meat. It comes with sauce on the bbq, but forgot to ask what it was. The smoked mac and cheese......OMG best I have ever had so delicious. The mango baked beans my daughter said they were amazing and the corn on the cobb was dry rubbed spiced and cooked perfect. They have so much on there menu and the pricing is inline for the quality and amount served. I will def be back for lunch and for dinner with the family soon.
No place to park, werent allowed to sit inside, staff from the cooks to the waitress were rude and uninviting and overall just a very trashy vibe. We have been wanting to come to this place for 4 years and finally made it over... an extreme let down. Didnt stick around to try the food and to be honest if Emeril himself had cooked it wouldnt have mattered.
Im from Chicago so, I be looking for off the beaten path joints ,the first 6 times I had them, was when they first opened, off the chain, I couldnt stop going and they like 30 mins away from me, then they got really popular and I think that they have so much clientele that the quality has went down I just spent 70 dollars on 2 alcarte tips two alcarte ribs and two rib dinners, I aint tripping about the loot ,but damm can I get what I paid for ,not bashing cause they still one of the best around compared to these others , lets just get back to the roots please!! just seems like they rushing to keep up with the demand
Ive been going to this restaurant since it first openedand the first times you can tell that they took their timeand prepared the food very well.. unfortunately this haschanged tremendously the food taste like it is rushedand its not flavorful as it used to be the portions arevery much smaller. At first I was like ok this is maybejust a bad day but a few times after that it was exactlythe same and if you are here from Uber I highlyrecommend going elsewhere they will mess up yourENTIRE order.
Let me be clear - the food here is BANGING!!!! Ive had sooo many things on the menu, MULTIPLE times, and consistently the flavor and taste is 10/10. The only reason I couldnt give it 5 stars is because there have been too many times I would call in my order, and get there and have to wait as if I just placed the order. That is frustrated, especially if you are in a time crunch and took the time to order ahead. Outside of that, the service is usually pretty good, the head Chef/owner is AMAZING both with service and product.Excuse some of my pics, as I started eating and then remembered I needed to take a pic. LOL I will continue to try and add some variety to my pictures, as I order from here often. EVERYTHING IS SOO GOOD!!! Must have.
I had Turkey ribs, smoked Mac and Cheese and Green Beans with smoked turkey necks and potatoes... and a strawberry lemonade to compliment the meal. The service was amazing. The owner was very personable and welcoming. The food was delicious and I will definitely be frequenting here often.
OMG can we talk about a hole in the wall? This place is now my new favorite bbq spot in metro Atlanta. Its right around where I grew up and I never knew it was here! The concept of fusing different culture a d cooking styles into traditional Southern bbq is truly genius and makes it a spot thatll surprise everyone you bring. Youve tasted nothing like their smothered fried ribs and Ill bet you on that! Make sure you show up on a Sunday so you can taste what Im talking about. Fall off the bone right into your mouth make you wish youve had them all your life ribs is what Im talking about. Being everyone you know. And then go again by yourself so you dont have to share.12/10 coming back for the smothered ribs.•Ribs and sweet potato waffle•Fried smothered ribs w/ mac and cheese•Wonton chip nachos•Canun salmon, shrimp and grits•Chicken taco w/ Jack Daniels bbq sauce•Hennessy banana pudding
Really disappointed to sit in the drive thru to be told that they were out of brisket and Mac n cheese, then to drive over 30 minutes home to find that my sides were not included with my order. Now, Ive been trying to call and cant get a person during business hours. This review is all about the lack of service, not the quality of the food.
Had the Smothered Fried Ribs served with Yellow Rice, w/cole slaw, and MacNCheese. The Mac is INCREDIBLE!!! 15 min ride home and it was still gooey, cheesy, and hot. The Pina Colada Cole Slaw offered nice contrast full of flavor, but i found the dressing to actually go wonderfully with the yellow rice. The Smothered Ribs...they are fried might i add then smothered in gravy...sinfully delicious...not sure how they managed to smother the ribs and then maintain a crunch again after a 15 min ride home. 5 bones full of meat might i add.Ill definitely be back...a true gem so, get out to ATL Fusion BBQ.
I was truly disappointed...the rib tips were burnt, dry & the portion was small. The beans were just sweet no real flavor just as the strawberry lemonade. The smoked mac & cheese was dry & lacked the smoke flavor. The cakes are homemade but the texture is gummy. Overall for nearly $19 this food is just not worth it!
I’ve been wanting BBQ for some time and this was worth the wait! 1st time trying it but the ribs were tender and everything (Mac & cheese, yams and cornbread tasted great). The strawberry lemonade was pretty good too. My only complaint is for utensils I got 1 plastic spork and 2 napkins. Will definitely return here and bring my own utensils for to go orders.
I travel a lot so I always like to take the opportunity to try small local restaurants . The service was good however the product was disappointing. ATL Fusion BBQ is a funky little joint, the staff was engaging and helpful when ordering. I ordered the rib tips, smoked sausage sandwich, and the potato salad as a side. The majority of the menu is a la carte. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you receive. The issue was the rib tips were not ready to be served. The rib tips were done, meaning they were safe to eat however they were not tender. The meat probably needed another hour and a half to cook so the fat in the ribs could break down and the meat will become tender and juicy. The cartilage was still stark white and the fat in the meat had not rendered down any. These rib tips were still rock hard and chewy. This isnt the way barbecue joints stay in business. You shouldnt sell products that arent of the highest quality. It would have been more appropriate to say that the rib tips werent ready and recommend something else. So either they didnt know that the rib tips werent ready or they didnt care that they werent ready. Eating tough BBQ is not fun.I enjoy the sausage more, however it was overcooked which resulted in a very tough casing. Once I remove the casing the sausage had very nice flavor. The real star of the night was the BBQ sauce that came with the meals. I ordered a mango habanero sauce that was just spectacular. The only reason I ate a couple of rib tips was because I was able to dunk them in the sauce. That sauce was so good it motivated me to power through all the chewing.Overall the barbecue was really disappointing and Im really disappointed that people who sell barbecue would sell something that wasnt ready to be consumed. Imagine going to any other type of restaurant and getting food that is technically safe to eat however its not ready to be consumed.
This used to be a favorite place pre pandemic. I get times are rough but the portion size has become sad, I could count the number of nachos(14). The quality of meat has gone down, its definitely not as tender as it used to be. The mac and cheese was mushy, overcooked, really heavy on black pepper to the point where you cant really taste the cheese. Maybe when pandemic calms down Ill give it another go but for now I plan to stop ordering from here. I hope they can pull something together because this is one of the more unique places to eat in the area.
Totally worth the wait. The ribs are the best I’ve ever tasted rich and smoky flavor. The chicken is really good the sides are good. My mother ate up the yams faster than you can blink! My son enjoyed it and even my 7 month old had some mashed up rib meat and loved it. I will be back! Prices were reasonable and I’ve tried several bbq restaurants since coming to Atlanta and they’re a very good spot!
First of all, I was never told my sides were replaced because you had no more. I was just given whatever , and when I came back to inform them about the situation, major attitude and just all around rude! I usually get salmon ribs but this time around it was raw in the middle and I had to cook it more once I got home…. Disappointing
What a catchy name that doesn’t match up to its name. The mac n cheese had a liquidity consistency and the pasta was over cooked. The corn on the cob was boiled corn, not a full ear (as pictured), and nothing smoked or grilled about the it. The menu stated that the entree combo included turkey ribs but when ordered the waitress came back to tell me that it was not an option any longer. The deserts are mini while satisfying. Now on to the meat— the wings are smoked good. I’d prefer not to see the little hairs on the wing tip though😒. The salmon ribs are just shaped as a rib. No biggie. Fusion-not at all. If you want smoked meat, they are decent. Respectfully, no rush to return.
My husband and I were driving by when we smelled some good barbecue brewing in the air. We decided to stop by and see what they had to offer. The food was AMAZING!!! The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back. This just may be our new barbecue spot!!
The Mac and cheese was horrible didn’t taste like nothing the texture was like grits very blend potato salad bad!!! Rib tips was tough I spent $50 first and last time going there contact me I will give y’all a Mac and cheese recipe cause this ain’t it these bbq places here in Atlanta need to understand it’s all about the SIDES bad sides will ruin a whole meal
First time here! I ordered take out, in there easy & efficient drive thru, the wait was not bad maybe like 7 minutes or so, can’t complain. I don’t know what I was expecting exactly but the food here is BUSSING!! Like Omg!!!. I ordered 2 plates of the salmon ribs & chicken for my husband & I are we can’t stop ranting over how good the food is. We will MOST definitely will be back! This will now be our go to spot!
The Peach Arnold Palmer Was Theee Best I’ve Ever Had!! The Rib Tips Were Very Tender & Juicy Cooked Perfectly & The Mac N Cheese Was Good, I Loved They Smokiness. Only Thing I Didn’t Like Was That My Bread Was Under My Sauced Rib Tips Making It Soggy & Gross. I Would Have Preferred It On Top! I Will Return Again
Pre-Covid, a neighbor told me all about them. Always meant to go there, but never quite found the time. The food is out of this world!! It is soooooo good! The staff is very personable, affable and helpful, going out of their way to answer all of the questions that this neophyte had. Thanks, yall, for being so patient with me. LOL!The most tender fried catfish Ive ever had! Cant wait until Lent so we can come here on Fridays, although I plan on eating there on a more regular basis now that weve finally tried them out! Plan on telling all my friends to check them out!
I went to this place a purchase a total of 3 bbq ribs plates 2 of them was burnt and my wife called and told I guess Steve about the situation and he promise a coupon that we never receive and called again 2 days later and the manager act like he didn’t know about the situation at all I don’t know why any establishment would even put food on a plate like this and give it to a customer it’s obvious it was burnt when the cook or who ever made the plate I always try to support our Black Own Business but this one I will not return to
Weve been three times and the brisket is really good. The green beans are phenomenal. The potato salad.. well mine was better than the others in the family because mine was a completely different recipe than they got. But each time weve gone they have forgotten something in our order. They seem to blame the customer instead of acknowledging that they have a problem that needs to be fixed. They put up a bunch of signs to check your order but then they double knot your bag and staple the receipt. This is probably the best food in austell and the place is always busy. So I Im thrilled that you are doing such good business. Just need to fix the accuracy of the order and maybe run food out to cards so youre not in line for half an hour or 45 minutes. I know thats tricky with the limited space you have. Oh and the dessert we had. It was peach cobbler and was absolutely fantastic!
I’m never one to leave reviews but I have to say this:The food was good but the service was HORRIBLE!! For starters this was my first time at this place so I didn’t know how it went. Went to the door and it was locked, have to go thru drive thru (no window) and it’s cut off in the back. Young girl comes out the door, no greeting no nothing! She didn’t ask what I wanted just was waiting for me to talk. Awkward. I told her what I was getting then I waited for my food. Another girl brought the food out and it wasn’t mine, still no hello or anything. Mind you it’s COVID going on so she took my bag from me and gave it to the car ahead of me. Just all wrong. For the food alone it was good but they definitely need to get new people to take orders. I won’t be back just off customer service alone
Brisket was great, pulled pork was good, mac and chz was okay, and the baked beans were not my cup of tea at all. Very disappointed because my $40+ order was missing 2 sides of potato salad. I really wanted to try it but also, both missing seems suspect especially when I saw a few reviews that mentioned this. We should have checked our order smh. Corn bread was also decent.
*** Presentation *** It looks great very colorful and clean. *** Texture *** The macaroni is soft no hard softs anywhere. The ribs are tough they probably reheat the bb here or use frozen product. *** Taste *** Well the baked beans are unique and enjoyable. The macaroni is missing a lot of flavor I would possibly add a little garlic, sour cream and raclette or gruyere cheese to fix it up. The sauce and smoke on my ribs tasted good but I couldnt not get past how chewy it was
I literally love coming here but Sunday I ordered the BBQ nachos (large) and it was terrible. You provided a toddlers handful an a half of chips, literally a sprinkle of corn and beans. No Guac or queso but provided half the bottle of BBQ sauce on the chicken which made the nacho chips super soggy and dripping of BBQ sauce. 🤢 You havent lost a loyal customer, I just know not to order nachos from a BBQ spot!
Gave it a try. Cold small hard ribs for 13.00 half of our food was cold only the bread and chicken wings were hot. Spent 44$ To get a good feel for the place sausage link cold and subpar. Chicken wings were fine baked beans ok. We’re from Mississippi/ Memphis and are in shock at what Atlanta will give 4 stars.
CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE!! Overall the food is good but they keep forgetting sides or they put the wrong sides in. The chicken, turkey are great so is the brisket but I kept getting bones in it….Also the quality of the food varies if it’s busy. Which is frustrating. Examples: half filled sides, light on the sauces, and dry meat. I wanted to love this place but I’m not feeling it.
I saw this place go up and it has taken me so long to have time to go eat there. I was sad they had no pork but had the chicken and it was fantastic. I got the mac and cheese with it as well. Mac and cheese was so good just wish I would have been able to get to it hot. This is a must eat place.
Saddle this place needs better customer service, I try the drive thru lady come out no mask, no hello i told her it was my first time here no menus had to the menu download on the website the food was great i got the ribs and Mac and cheese but i wont come back customer service was not great
This is the 1st time I tried this place I had higher expectations. The ribs were fatty and tough with watered down jack daniels sauce, the macaroni and cheese lacked salt and dry, the green beans needed seasoning. However I did give 2 stars for the candy yams they were delicious. I requested refund for ribs from door dash due to being too tough and fatty to enjoy.
You get nothing but the best of bad attitudes, teeth smacking and stank customer service. They have an 80 as their health department score so eat at your own risk! but the salmon is good (sometimes cold and you may get sick) but most of the time it’s pretty good. Sad to say, they represent the typical “stereotype” for these types of “businesses”.
They have a great menu and lots of value throughout! The young lady that took my order was very friendly! Even my 3 y/o commented on how nice she was. A nice gentleman was back and forth outside freshly cooking delicious food. They are the real deal! Ill be back with my husband next time!
I am from St Louis both sides of the water. East St Louis and Jennings. The ribs were seasoned but the back membrane was not removed. In St. Louis we skin our ribs. I was so excitedly when l seen the owner was from the Lou, but these ribs didn’t taste like the Lou. They were good and seasoned but again to get them more favorable you got to take the back membrane off. The GA tea was the best l every had, and the green beans were very good. I wish the sausage could have been a little burn like l like them. The sauce was watery and not thick but it was good. I do believe in support our own. I would go back!
I went here for the first time on Friday and ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a side of mac/cheese. I used to see so many cars in the drive through line and thought the food must be good. I was really disappointed and glad I only spent $8.00. For starters, the mac/cheese looked good but had zero taste once you dug in, its like they put a lot of cheese on the top (but thats it) it almost tasted like some sort of flour filler in the middle, awful!. The sandwich was decent, not a lot of meat and they automatically put some type of sauce on it which was Ok but I prefer to be asked what type of sauce I want on a pulled pork sandwich. In compared it to The B-Bque Place on Powder Springs Road and their food is much better. Everyone has different taste buds, however, I definitely will not return here, I was not overly impressed with the food/taste at all.
This sauce is so delicious! My husband and I tried the pork ribs and the smoked chicken wings along with the mac n cheese. The ribs were tasty, but not exactly falling off the bone. The wings however, were AMAZING and that mango sauce was delicious! I will be back to try other menu options but I will certainly be back for those wings!
This BBQ is the bomb! I’m a southern girl whose favorite cuisine is good American BBQ, so I’m hard to please, but these guys deliver on flavors and tenderness. OMG! They’re not your traditional BBQ spot, and they’ve shaken things up a bit with their spices and additions to basic side dishes—like the baked beans. My husband has a “stick to what I know” palate, so he’s not a huge fan, but I LOVE IT! Yes, the flavor profile is a little different, but I love the spice and escaping the mundane BBQ flavors you can get at any cookout. It definitely sets them apart. I’ve always had friendly service, and I’ve never had any complaints or experienced any mistakes with their staff. Not only that, on occasion I receive an email letting me know what’s new on the menu or any events their hosting at the restaurant. They cover all bases. They’re definitely amongst my top three “go-to” spots for BBQ in the area.
I went through the drive through line and the young lady was very welcoming. I told her it was my first time trying the spot and she made recommendations. I ended up getting rib tips, green beans, and yams with a peach cobbler for dessert. I was highly satisfied with my entire order!
1st time eating here for lunch. It was great! Pulled chicken sandwich (tasted more like pork), green beans and corn on cob. I live in Middle Ga and always looking for good bbq. It was so good I ordered again for dinner. BIG MISTAKE! The chicken sandwich was cold with huge chunks of tough chicken drizzled with sauce. The green beans were good but the corn (which was moist and full of flavor at lunch) was cold and dry. Please be consistent with your food from morning till close. I will give another chance but consumer tip: GO AT LUNCH. Please do better.
Trying to support small business during this time. This place was a disappointment. The good: sauce flavor. Ribs were tender. The bad: the rib bones had hardly any meat on them. I ordered 6 bones and was given only 5. Flavor profile was nonexistent. No smoke flavor in the mac & cheese and no mango flavor in the baked beans.
I visited this bbq place a few weeks ago. There were cars lined up so I figured the food must be good. It was ok and edible. I will go back but would like that they not smoke the meat until its black. You have to pull the skin off because it is too burnt to eat. The sides of green beans and candied yams were good.
To be clear this is a review for the uhaul drop off location I was directed to go to. I did not get to try and enjoy the food here.Apparently more and more business are opting to be a uhaul location for self check in and pick ups. This is not a business that should be participating in such a venture. It is a small and tight location and not at all convenient or easy to bring any uhaul equipment! The staff inside had no ideal what I was talking about, nothing clearly marked about uhaul drop off, and no where to leave a uhaul, a waste of my time.
My first attempt here was with Doordash and the food arrived cold, I was hesitant to try them again, but so glad I did! Food was excellent, ribs were hot, Brisket was tender, and pulled pork sandwiches were nice and full! Wasnt blown away by the Hennessey banana purding (Ive had better homemade), but Cant wait to go back!
I tried to go by today. I ordered 2 BBQ Pork sandwiches with chips and 2 teas. The lady told me $20. I thought wow that’s a lot. Then she no that isn’t correct. It was $23. Really!!’ No Way! That is ridiculous for 2 sandwiches. $11.50 each. I wanted to try this place. Wallace BBQ and Johnny’s just a couple of miles away. Their Pork Thrift Plate Sandwich Slaw and Fries $5.25 Lrg Tea $2 total $7.25.Atl Fusion can’t be that good. The building and surrounding sure don’t look great and health Dept score is 80.Crazy Prices.
Well, I am changing my review. After my first visit, the food was so awesome, we decided to have it for Thanksgiving Dinner. That was a big mistake. I purchased 3 slabs, and got orders to take back to Birmingham for friends that wanted to try them. The ribs did not have any meat on the bones and was very dry. The manager told me thats was how they look without the sauce. I told him, i was scared to reheat it for my dinner because it looked like it was already over cooked. He reassured me it was not. I do not think I will be going back. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Not only was that expensive and a long drive, but it messed up my Thanksgiving Dinner. I had to end up frying chicken. And, it was also discrediting for me, as people value my opinion on food. THIS IS THE END OF MY REPOST TO MY FIRST REVIEW.....First off, let me say the staff was very welcoming and patient with my son and myself. We came from Birmingham, Alabama to try this. The GM, Mike, did not rush us while we were asking questions because they have a variety of sauces and their side dishes are not regular. Everything has a name that makes it pop and sound delicious, and make you wonder what it tastes like. Who knew it was a such thing as Turkey ribs🤷?? But we got the pork rib(with Atl Fusion Sauce, AWESOME) combos that come with 2 sides. The ribs were so tender we didnt even know we were eating the gristle, and fall off the bone, MY, MY, MY!! We tasted it on the way home, and had to pull over and call them to let them know how good it was, and to finish eating it😆😆. The only reason I didnt give them a 5 is because we got the end of the sides. But, we are going back this week first a second try.. NOT TOO EXPENSIVE... A DEFINITE MUST TRY!!! WORTH THE DRIVE FROM ANYWHERE..
Real good, had half rack ribs with chicken wings. sides were baked bean and smoked mac and cheese. Place is really an old school roadside bbq smokehouse, limited seating i had no issues with it but be ready if you want to eat there. The baked beans really stand out they were really good, the wings also, liked their mustard sauce that was well done. Ribs were fantastic. I recommend it friendly staff prompt service and decent prices.
I really love supporting black owned businesses!! But...I ordered a 8 pc family meal and only received 7 pieces of chicken. So I basically paid $17 and was cut short... And the food was cold after a 45 min wait. Thats unacceptable! Please just be more weary of things like this. I love spreading the good word about the great food here but I was disappointed this one time!
The ribs last time were good (always a make-or-break for me when it comes to barbecue) , the mango baked beans are unique and tasty, and the smoked mac and cheese maybe wasnt a smoked as I would think they were. The food and experience were good enough to warrant sharing with my family this time. My family member and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
We ordered delivery from ATL Fusion BBQ today and it was underwhelming. We had the pulled pork sandwich which doesnt travel well, the bun was so soggy you could only eat it with a fork. The pork was okay but nothing special for our area. I dont understand why you have to pay extra for sauces? Are you supposed to eat the meat without any sauce, alternatively? This practice seems uncommon especially once you pay for sauces, you dont actually get a tub of sauce, thats all soaking on the bun. The corn on the cobb turned to mush because it was way overcooked. Potato salad was tasty. Corn bread was not received but we got a refund. I dont know. There are so many great BBQ places in Cobb county alone, I probably wont return.
3 words. Mike Is AWESOME.First of all, the food is worth the wait...it’s very good bbq. Second of all, it’s Black owned...but that’s just the small things that make this place great. The customer service, the team, the passion, MIKE, is what makes this place worth every minute or your time and every dollar.I ordered from grub hub and I had minor problems. The first was that, they ran out of salmon but they gave me a call (instead of automatically canceling it like most) and replaced it with a pulled pork sandwich. I spoke to Dorian, great customer service btw. Cool, no problem! Then my Mac n cheese (which is one of my favorite side dishes) was not in my bag when I received my order so I called back and Mike personally delivered my Mac...and upsized it! I told him not to worry that I didn’t mind coming back another day as I was busy doing work at the time but he insisted. I’m not saying that restaurants have to go this above and beyond to take care of their customer because I would have been totally ok picking it up at a later date but it’s the communication and thought that really counts.People will remember am experience way more than how the food tastes. In this case I got a great experience and great food. Thank you Mike 🤎 and I know it’s take a good team to deliver quality so thank you to the whole team 💙✊🏾
We ordered 2 rib plates via Uber eats right before closing time. The presentation was cute. It was more visually pleasing than it was actually appetizing though. The ribs were quite tough, they were better the next day warmed up though. The seasoned corn on the cob was half of a corn on the cob with some seasoned salt and paprika sprinkled on it and lastly the Mac and cheese was dry and lacking in flavor. I was excited after reading the glowing reviews but disappointed in my experience.
The food is good but this drive thru is PITIFUL!. The restaurant sits on a corner so its one way in, one way out. You would think the purpose of a drive through is FAST service, with food already cooked. Not here. The drive thru literally took 40 minutes. And once you are on line, youre stuck 🤣. Anyway, see for yourself
If you’re on the hunt for some awesome barbecue with a unique flair— this is the PLACE. The rib tips were unreal and the portion was plentiful. I thought, “there is no way I can eat all of this.” spoiler: I ate all of it and desperately wanted more). The Carolina sauce and the Mango Habanero add the most perfect touch to the meat! I honestly cannot wait to order again.
I was really impressed by Atl Fusion Bbq. The employees were ready and willing to fulfill our order with positive attitudes and friendly smiles. We ordered the ribs, smoked Mac and cheese, green beans, and strawberry lemonade. It was nothing short of amazing. The ribs were so juicy and fall off the bone. My mom and I usually drive to other establishments but this time was well worth it because they have a drive thru! The convenience of that, matched with the superior customer service and mouth-watering food is why this restaurant should be on your radar.
We ordered from here for the first time a couple weeks ago and found the rib tips and brisket to be absolutely delicious. Both were wonderful without sauce - which is a great indicator of tasty bbq. Yet, the fusion house sauce was a great addition to already flavorful and tender meat. Had to try the pina colada cole slaw because its different, and it turned out to be pretty good. We found it to pair well with the meat. The smoked mac and cheese is also yummy. We will definitely be ordering from here again.
I am truly amazed with Atlanta Fusion BBQ, I ordered just about everything on the menu, was not disappointed with anything I ordered simply because the food was delicious, and the only delimma I have is waking up from this food coma Im currently in. I will definitely be returning at least once a week. To the Chef and workers, I applaud you!!!
Phenomenal! The guy knew the menu when I called in my order and helped me to decide. When I got there they had a drive though so I didnt have to get out of my car in this cold weather. They have huuuge bbq pits outside where all The magic happens! The presentation of the food was on another level(yes, for togo) lol!!! The only critiques I had were that they didnt give me a folk so that I could do some munching on the ride home but later I found 2 forks in the bag! lol. My only critque is that the pork ribs were fatty but there was still a decent amount of meat. I WILL be back! Everything I ordered was delicious! Hands down the best experience and the best bbq and soul food Ive had in ATL and Ive been here for years! keep up the phenomenal service and excellence!
Ive had your food when u first opened, and I loved it then too!! I just left u (dont judge me that I came over to the Burlington parking lot to eat a few bites!), and I will definitely be back. The only think I will do differently is ask for LIGHT sauce on the meat. Other than that, I cant wait to have taco Tuesdays, and burger on Wednesdays!!!#SupportThisBusiness
Food was ok but not what I expected. Service was not great, server was on cell phone the entire time I waited in drive thru until another server came and took over for her. The young male server was very helpful in helping to determine what was best since it was my first time.the ribs were the best part of .the order.
I haven’t found a tasty BBQ spot in Georgia since moving here. I’m so glad that I found this BBQ spot. This was my first time eating here. So far so good. The food remind me of what I’m accustomed to getting up north. Great price. Food was good. Meat is tender (turkey rib & rib tips). BBQ sauce is tasty (Fusion & Jack Daniel). Strawberry lemonade & GA peach Arnold Palmer too sweet for my liking. But, it’s nothing a little water dilution can’t fix. Lol! People were nice. Just limited space to eat in. However, will definitely recommend & will return.
Brisket was horrible. Like eating tough strips of leather. Mac and cheese was tasteless and bland. Ribs were borderline okay at best. The two star rating is for the friendly customer oriented girl who took my order. She was very pleasant. The greens were too big. Like eating whole leaves and they were salty. My mom couldnt eat any of it because of the sodium-filled greens and her inability to chew the TUFF brisket and ribs. A total waste of $24.00 for 2 dinners. We just trashed both plates. We live and we learn. I was anxious to try this place and now I have. Just wont try it again. They may improve with time. I hope so...
This place is by far the worst BBQ restaurant I have ever had takeout food from. My family and I was totally disappointed with the food and experience after waiting more than 1 hour for our pre-ordered takeout food.. I had about 2oz of meat on my Brisket sandwich with BBQ sauce dredged on my bun..My son had the exact identical experience with his Brisket meal. The one star was given since my daughter was able to eat her pulled pork sandwich. My son and I threw out our entire meal and purchased wings from a different restaurant..I wasted 48 dollars on garbage.
We first went here on June 19th. I ordered tips, pulled pork & smoked chicken with mac & cheese, mango baked beans & potatoe salad. Well today June 26th we made a 2nd trip. Im trying the corn on the cob today. The food is very flavorful. It was a huge hit by my family so we added it to our fav Bbq spots list. First trip the wait was a little over an hour. Today 20 minutes if that long. Glad to support! Oh yeah my husband really enjoyed the hennessy banana pudding
This was my first time ordering from here & I wish I read the reviews, but rushed to get the Uber Eats deal.I ordered the Turkey Ribs combo with a side of Mac n cheese and corn on the cob. As mentioned in previous reviews, the presentation was nice, service was fast, and the Georgia Peach Arnold Palmer was good - BUT the food was disappointing.Half of the turkey rib was burnt, the bread was soggy, the corn was flavorless and also soggy. The Mac n cheese was tasteless. Won’t be ordering from here again. Save your coins.
This is a great spot. Customer service is impeccable. The location has character. 3 stars is not indicative of how I feel about this restaurant. I had pork ribs, mac & cheese, and potato salad. I really enjoyed the potato salad. It has bacon in it and thats a nice complement to the potato. The mac & cheese was ok in my opinion. The ribs were smoked to perfection. Great flavor profile and tenderness. The sauces were out of this world. I give 3 stars because my ribs had more fat on them than meat. It is obvious they know how to make great bbq but I was disappointed at the quality of the rib. With that being said I will definitely be back. I am optimistic about this place and I think the ribs might have been just a one off.
This was my first time visiting this place. I was able to place an order for pickup. I didnt have to go in. They have a drive through like system which is safe. I didnt have to wait long. I have the 8pc family meal. The bbq chicken was ok-the sauce was good, for my sides I ordered the mac n cheese and yams. The side were ok as well. I may try this place again but will order something different to try.
Well we went to go get food at this barbecue place and they were out of barbecue pork barbecue chicken beef and brisket and I was just confused on how I barbecue places out of barbecue. That was my first experience there and I dont know if I want to waste my time again to see if they have barbecue and then they dont.
This is the second time I’ve got something from here and it’s the wrong order, today i asked for a large REGULAR Arnold Palmer with my chicken tacos it made the total go up $3 so i expect a large. The guy came out with the smaller cup and it was peach Arnold Palmer then when he came back out it was a large cup but it was only lemonade and the chicken was bland. This used to be my favorite bbq spot but it’s like the people taking orders don’t listen at all.
Every trip here is a pleasure! The staff is so pleasant and the food is the best BBQ in Atlanta. The way they are always adding new exciting items to their menu keeps me impressed. This time I had the Mac n Cheese pulled pork Panini that did not disappoint. Then for dessert I wish I could cuss on Google....Hennessey Banana Chocolate Chip Pudding! Yes its as good as it sounds. I will be back asap!
Tasty Fish & Chicken plate. Customer Service was great because the cook did not prepare a complete meal/order...good catch from front face person in encouraging me to view my order. Food portions were good as well. Limited menu options if you order thru Grubhub and the phone number listed is incorrect. Will be back
I celebrated my nomination earlier this evening in this excellent restaurant. Well we passed a pleasant evening and the place was unquestionably the reason for that outstanding gathering. The waiters collaborated in a pleasant manner, the cuisine was appetizing and my friends were so thrilled. We shall no dout return for more celebrations. thanks very much.
This Place Was By Far The WORST BBQ I Have Ever Had, The Chicken Was Dry And Chewy Taste Like It Was Leftovers, The Mac And Cheese Was Dry As Well And The Green Beans Was Just Awful. That Potato Salad Was Nasty. Me And My Coworkers Feel As Though We Wasted Money On This Place. Even The Bread Was Nasty! Basically We Were Given Old Food. The Tea Was Overpowered With Sugar!! I Tried To Support This Business But I Would NEVER Go Back To This Place Again. Ill Never Recommend It To ANYONE. Doesnt Even Deserve 1 Star
I absolutely love this place! I have never had a nasty thing here. My go to is the BBQ nachos, however if I want to make myself feel like I made a healthy decision I get the salmon which is that fye! Ask for mango habanero sauce on that bad boy too. They do work with delivery websites as well so definitely check them out.Ive also had the ribs and rib tips which you see smoking daily on the grill outside. Check them out for sure! Cant wait until they can get a larger venue with more seating. Its definitely somewhere you want to carry out. Thats really the only negative to me.
This is the worst BBQ I’ve ever had. Brisket extremely tough. Tasted like lighter fluid, no smoke flavor. Corn bread hard as a rock. Potato salad was sweet!? I almost went to get a refund. So dissappointing cause the menu looks so good. I’m heating up a frozen pizza in the oven right now! I never leave reviews good or bad but I felt I had to warn people.
I had never heard of this place until I was invited out to a blog event. If you dont know where youre going you might miss the turn to get into the parking lot. Parking is limited but since this isnt a sit down restaurant, there should be parking available. What can I say? This black owned restaurant does GREAT barbecue. Two dishes that stuck out for me were the smothered fried rib and the fusion nachos. Listen, the smothered fried rib was like nothing Ive ever tasted. It was delicious. The meat was tender, it was well seasoned, and super unique. I would love some more. The fusion nachos were amazing as well. Barbecue chicken over wonton chips, with queso and pico. Love on a plate. I loved this place and will definitely go back when Im in the area!
AWESOME! PROFESSIONAL! DELICIOUS!I would have this experience over and over and over again. The communication was timely and pleasant. From the planning of my event (party of 6) to the delivery of the service, this was the best dinner experience we could have imagined.Chef Mark and his assistant were a joy to watch. They were personal and professional. They arrived on time and ready to go.Service was FANTASTIC! The meal was SUPERB! It was wonderful to receive top dinner service in the comfort of our home.THANK YOU!I would HIGHLY recommend Canvas Personal Chef Services.
Went for the first time over the weekend and hot damn, so long as this place stays open I dont see the point in me going to try other BBQ places. My party of four ordered four different items and all of them were absolutely stellar -- the only disappointment was that they were out of mac and cheese! So Ill definitely be going back to try a serving because Im sure its fricken amazing. Mango baked beans??? Who figured out /that/ tastes good? Cos I wouldnt have thought of that.Small place, and not much seating, but its probably easier to take these messy plates home where youll have access to plenty of paper towels and a sink to wash your hands lol.Definitely stop by and try this place, its worth every penny!
Wasnt impressed. Ribs were ok but cooked too fast. Brisket didnt make it past the stall. Tasted like tough strips of steak. Avoid at all cost. Mistakes of an inexperienced smoker. Slathered in a way too sweet mango sauce that overpowers an almost nonexistent rub. The best thing this place has going is the sides. Sweet potatoes, corn, mac&cheese all wins. Thank me later.
Okay. Lets start this review off by saying I am definitely a foodie and definitely a picky one. I am also Frugal and greedy. These are all facts. Someone writing a restaurant I go for such qualities as: pricing, food Portion, and taste! I dont really care about fancy presentation I really really care about how the food taste and the price! So lets just say this is a gem located off of Austell Road! Ive had everything from the salmon to the rib tips from the mango baked beans to the loaded potato salad. And everything I repeat everything was delicious. Ive never experienced something being too dry or too salty. The only fair warning that I can give is to get there at least an hour before closing. This way you can make sure that anything you want is still in stock as well as hot and fresh. But that should go without saying. I definitely give ATL Fusion BBQ 5 stars and I also eat there at least three times a week LOL.
So I come here about once or twice a week with my life and we love the paninis(ASK FOR A PANINI you guys will not be dissapointed ) and we always tell our friends and family about it! Please keep them coming and shoutout to Dorean for always having great customer service. We really appreciate that
I will not be going back! My order was wrong, I called and informed them. The lady that took my order answered the phone she told me I would have to being the rib tips back; which was no problem because the order was wrong. I drive back to be told they didnt have what I ordered. It was substituted for 3 turkey ribs which what I wanted came with 4. I was so disappointed to get 3 seasoned bones!!!
I must have went on a bad day. The chicken wings were tough, the mac and cheese was stiff and the cornbread was so stale, I could not swallow it. I am not sure what was used to make the banana pudding but it certainly did not taste like bananas - it may have been plaintains. Unfortunately, this will be my first and last visit.
Leaves a lot to be desired. At first we received the wrong order. When it was corrected, there wasnt a lot of meat on either plate which didnt make what we spent worth it. Im not sure why they even use it since they have a pit (unless its for show), but they put WAY, WAY, WAY TOO much smoke flavor on the meat
I know reviews can hurt a business so I try never to leave a negative one unless necessary. This was middle of the road. The first time, food was great. Second time, we asked for pulled chicken sandwich but got pulled pork. When we called to advise they tried to convince us it was indeed chicken, the customer service lacked. There was no apology or offer to rectify but rather assurance that it mY have tasted different but they didnt use pork. However, the sandwich was on a different bun than the original chicken sandwhich, did not come with the tomato and lettuce the first chicken sandwhich came with, had a different consistency than the original chicken sandwich, and was on a different bun than the first. My wife cannot eat pork. It makes her sick and swell, and sure enough that was the reaction that followed the sandwich that they tried to convince us was not pork after wed ordered the chicken. It was unfortunate because we thought we had a new barbeque spot but even if the sandwich that made her feel sick was chicken as theyd stated, I would have at least then preferred consistency in the make taste of the sandwich so for that reason...Id still stop on a rough day but Id be cautious with the order and say not the worst but not the best. Great sauce flavor, however, and first batch of chicken and sandwiches were amazing!
The experience was horrible. I ordered two pork ribs, baked beans, and two large lemonades. The ribs had no flavor and I didnt receive any bbq sauce with my meals after I was told that the plate comes with two according to the young man that took my order as I was going to order extra sauce. Not to mention, the even but the butt (end) of the bread in my plate and it was hard. I spent $23 here and it was money wasted. Ended up feeding the ribs to my dog. Also, I asked for extra ice in my lemonade and was rudely told by the young lady that there was ENOUGH ice in my cups (and she didnt put any more in) even though the young man turned to her and stated that I REQUESTED extra ice. She looked at him and said, Its half full of ice. Of course, the lemonade melted all the ice and I had a hot, unsweetened drink. This was my first visit and last. I will not be returning and I wont be recommending them to anyone. And if anyone ask, I will be sure to tell them about my horrible experience.
Recently purchased the nachos, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and street corn. Needless to say I was not happy. The mac & cheese had no flavor, the potatoes were bland and definitely not mashed. The street corn taste like salsa covered in mayo. The nachos were terrible. This place needs major improvements. Will not return.
Its ok. Really just ok. I had the rib tips, yellow rice, and collard greens. The ribs were not tender enough for my liking. The yellow rice was advertised as seasoned yellow rice. However, it was extremely bland. Maybe it was a bad batch and they forgot to add the seasoning. The greens had a descent taste with a kick of spice.
The worst BBQ ever!!! My rib tips were tough as leather and the collard greens under cooked. This place is over priced and the wait time for this horrible food was even worse. I’m still pissed about the amount of money spent on this. My dad was not happy either. Will not be going back.
I was highly disappointed especially based off a few celebrity reviews proclaiming this place to have great bbq. I ordered the Atl Fusion BBQ Nachos, these are not tortilla chips but more so like wontons, the cheese sauce was not cheese but had the taste of a flour only, flour based. The brisket was hard, burnt, and only a few pieces was on this whole bed of nachos. The Homemade Oreo cake was gummy, not a cake texture but a gummy muffin texture. The GA Peach Arnold Palmer Tea had no peach taste whatsoever and the lemonade was nowhere near tart. It was like drinking sweet water with hints of tea aftertaste. I do not recommend this place as a go to bbq joint. They need a new formula for their dishes as well as cooks. This is an honest review...
Dont understand why a restaurant asks you to rate us on Google (an actual sign in the waiting area) when their food is nasty AND cold AND the young lady taking orders turns around, bends over, and shows aaaalll her pink panties in her no-belt ill-fitting jeans. My green beans had an ABSURD amount of black pepper DUMPED in it (like literally I imagine the top coming off the pepper shaker and the cook is like forget that, Im serving these green beans anyway!) My rib tips were refrigerator COLD. They were microwaved a good 15 secs... mmm, maybe 10secs so that only the tips on top were LUKEWARM. The saving grace of my 1st and last time eating here were the Candied Yams. Babee!! Whoever does the yams should start their own candied yams business. Too bad I cant rate the yams separate from the overall experience.
I contacted Portrait on a Plate to secure a venue for my best friends birthday party. I had a pleasant experience with the staff and the process was not difficult. The venue, the Brick Secret was perfect! It was unique and affordable. The owner was friendly and flexible. It was the right spot for a wonderful night! I am confident that I will contact Portrait on a Plate again to book my next venue!
Great food, but they need to keep an eye on their front counter.. got a delicious pulled pork sandwich with caribbean mango BBQ baked beans... But there were no napkins around (this is BBQ, people..), and no plasticware to eat the beans.. good thing I had some in my car, else Id be a sticky mess after eating! So, great food..but service needs some work!

2022-02-06The food danced on my taste buds! We had the green beans, yams, pulled chicken, brisket, and corn bread. Everything was amazing! This is a small gem that shouldnt be missed and put in rotation for return visits. Also, the staff was friendly with southern hospitality. A definite MUST!!!!

2022-07-04Last couple of times have been really good, the sides are good too. Finally got turkey ribs this time and the price went up from whats online they claim it can change and I only got 3 pieces feels like a rip off. But turkey wings have a little more meat and they were really good. Pork ribs amazing, sauced are amazing. Mac&cheese, Yams, and greens are good. Prices are reaonable.

2022-02-16Glad I stopped by this place. Lots of sauce and flavor to the ribs. They peeled right from the bone. The Arnold Palmer peach tea and the yams were a good complement. Only reason for 4 stars is the ribs may have been left on the smoker a little too long. The outer layer of meat was a little tough. Overall though, it is good bbq and would recommend a visit.

2022-04-30This used to be our go to place for BBQ. We have been visiting for over a year. The last few times we ordered the food was a little off their usual flavor and the Mac n cheese was just awful. Tonight we decided to try again. We spent 38 dollars. We ordered ribs with green beans and a chicken leg and double Mac n cheese. We received no Mac n cheese and 5 orders of green beans. My chicken was small and my bread was a small thin end piece sopped in bean juice. 5 ribs ( which are small and dry) and bread also in bean juice. The beans were really tasty, the rest left to be desired. I dont know if we will go back. The customer service is always spot on hence my 3 star.

2021-10-20Man i have been going to this restaurant since they opened and it has changed since then. The portions used to great now i feel like a kid getting a school lunch.. I loved them so much cause i felt like i was getting a lot of bang for my bucks i mean the flavor of the food is still great but Im extremely disappointed at the portion size i just received in my most recent visit...

2022-05-30My rib tips were not the best cut That was a few really hard ones in it. My husbands ribs and briskets were good though. The different fusion sauces were good. The portions are decent. Parking is kind of confusing. I would visit again tho.

2022-07-09Finally got the opportunity to try this place. Ive been in the area to remember what has been in this building space and this is by far the best business choice. I love how they have made use of this location even adding a unique drive through to this BBQ spot. Pictures of the turkey ribs are what brought me in, however they were out at the time. It was an hour before they closed so I was not upset. I ended ordering the rib tips, green beans, and macaroni. The rib tips were good and the macaroni was ok. The greens beans had a hint of yams in them. Not sure why. Overall. It wasnt a bad experience and the food was ok. I would go back to just to try some other things on the menu.

2022-04-30The food was pretty good, bit the service is SLOW. If theres more than a few cars in the lot, you could be there for an hour. Our order was simple and we were the only ones there, still took them 20 minutes to put the food together for the order. I recommend to try them if youre not in a hurry or if you call in your order ahead of time.

2022-03-05Wow! My wife and I have searched high and low for a bbq place that came close to the bbq shacks in our old home town of Mississippi. This place blew everything out of the water. Their infusion flavors and real smokehouse nicely flavored meats were fantastic. The staff was more than hospitable by walking our food to our car for us when they werent busy, their attitudes were welcoming and very home style. I will definitely give this restaurant my support over and over again

2022-02-27Fist allow me to say the customer service was great, thats why you received 2stars.However, this was my second time eating here. The first time my turkey was dry, that was over 6months ago. Therefore I thought I would try again.I just spent $31 on a rib and chicken dinner with tips and peach cobbler. The ribs and chicken was overcooked(burnt)., The yams were undercooked. The green beans were very tasty. The cobbler I wasnt even sure of the tablespoon that I received for $5?? It was mixed with cream& carmel?? However did not eat that period I am so disappointed in the food that I received for $31?? Too much money has spent and wasted. I tried to share the dry chicken with my dog and he refused to eat it.. I live too far to turn around and come back. However Ill chalk it up to my lost and chalk it up . Lesson learned!I will never eat there again thank you!
