Ask for Patrick! I went in not knowing much about the type of bike I wanted or features that would fit my use and he spent the better part of 2 hours going over everything. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase or to purchase something higher end, which I really appreciated and he gave me everything I needed to make an informed decision.Literally the definition of customer service and product knowledge.
Awesome customer service and selection for new bike purchases; staff is very knowledgeable. Avery is great! Welcoming and good location. However, the repair shop for minor service is expensive- guy there quoted us $400 for a repair, took it to another community bike shop and we paid $10 for quality support.
Sorry about the original one star review - I dont typically do that without explanation! This was a mistake that Im happy to correct - you all did an excellent job with my sons bike - three years on he still loves it - Im sorry this review was out there for so long - I just didnt see that I had made a mistake! My sincere apologies, you all do a great job.
Friendly service even though it is a very busy place! Once they found out that a broken part on my bike was on backorder for over 4 weeks their service shop created a custom part themselves in only one day to keep me safe and out on my bike again right away.so that I would not have to wait for the part to finally arrive.
The Atlanta Cycling service department has always been incredibly accommodating with walk-in service for small tasks rather than make me wait weeks for things that take them minutes. Shout out to Bethany who had me taken care of quickly and gave me some pointers out the door.
I got a bike fit from Avery here. I have gotten one bike fit before it lasted roughly 2 hours. This one took about 30 minutes. He made a few adjustments which helped, but didnt take any measurements and I rode for a total of roughly 5 minutes during the fit. Not sure if Avery didnt know what he was doing or what the issue was. Cheapest Bike fit I found ($150) but definetely get what you pay for.
Excellent customer service by Zach Reid. I just brought home a perfect TREK Emonda. Zach took plenty of time to adjust, discuss, and even ride with me to make sure I was extremely happy. I worked with him for several days to ensure I had all the correct parts... smaller carbon handle bars and stem, as well as new cleats and pedals that would work well for me.He took time to make sure I was fitted, and was keen on my adamant demands of having no flaws on my new bike.I have been an Atlanta Cycling customer for years. I am completely happy that I had Zach working for me and would highly recommend him if you want that extra touch of excellence. Well done Zach! I am one happy camper!
Exceptional service and staff. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Ive purchased two bikes and theyve always made time to ensure that our bikes are will maintained in a timely matter. At Atlanta cycling youre not just purchasing amazing bikes but an experience you will not gain anywhere else. Highly recommended. Corvez has been my go-to.
I bought my first gravel bike here, and Avery was incredibly patient and helpful. The whole crew has been extremely helpful every time I’ve needed their help, and they’re about as friendly as it gets. If you’re looking for a bike or components, look no further. The people at Atlanta cycling are consummate professionals who were willing to help a beginner like me get my first high end bike and keep it running like a top. Overall, My experience with Atlanta Cycling has been stellar. Make a trip, You’ll be in good hands.
From the minute I stepped into the store, I was amazed by the service and quality of the products. I was helped right away by Edward where he gave me his full attention and was considerate of my budget, needs, and really took the bikes use into consideration when choosing a bike for me. He was incredibly knowledgeable and put me with the right bike and shoes that I got to walk out the door that day with! Prior to buying my bike I was fitted for my bike and was allowed to take it for a test ride to make sure it was comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. I have not experienced this at other bike stores and felt even more secure in my purchase. The store felt like a community and the entire staff was welcoming and warming - you could tell everyone was passionate and knowledgeable about bikes! I look forward to stopping in the store in the future and will recommend Atlanta Cycling - Ansley to my network in the future!
Excellent Service Department and timely communication. From Bill scheduling my service appointment, to John executing the required service, a five-star experience from Atlanta Cycling-Ansley. I welcome the opportunity to use them again and recommend them anytime when needed.
The most knowledgeable and customer oriented group of folks Ive ever worked with. They helped me build my Project One Trek road bike a few years ago and have provided extraordinary customer service ever since. I shop exclusively at this location for gear and equipment. I love the recent renovations on the shop. (3/21/2018 UPDATE): purchased my SECOND (Tri fit this time) Project One bicycle with guidance from this shop. Customer service is still top notch! Brian and team are awesome and I could not be happier with my new wheels!! (3/25/2019 UPDATE): ...theres a pattern here. Stopped by a few days ago to purchase a full-disc race wheel for the tri bike I purchased last year. What I enjoy most about this shop and staff is every visit is personal. And the level of care and attention does not wane after youve made your BIG purchase. The staff is just as warm and genuine when Im purchasing a single tube of chamois cream as they were when I purchased that Project One Speed Concept and Zipp race wheel. Ansley is my shop!
Fantastic service! Not only did I receive comprehensive help with choosing a bike, but also got it fully ready to hit the road. John was also extremely kind to drop my bike off at my house, as we dont currently have a means to transport it easily.Huge kudos to the team - this is the go-to place if you need to cover your bike needs!
The staff was friendly and very helpful. Noah answered every question I had and left me feeling confident about what I asked. His answers and comments were clear and easy to understand. He and some other members from the staff even put together the new bike hitch I bought for my truck so I could take my brand new Trek home safely and securely. Thank you Atlanta Cycling - Ansley! You’ve made a new customer for life.
We live 3 hours away and had to do most of our dealings over the phone. Noah could not have been more accommodating not only over the phone but also once we were there to pick up our new bikes. I highly recommend Atlanta Cycling as it is rare to find such excellent service these days!
Great customer service. We were looking for a specific bike and size that seemed to be out of stock everywhere. Atlanta Cycling - Ansley is the only store that offered to order the bike for us. I love retailers that believe in going the extra mile for their customers. While we ended up driving out of state to get the bike sooner, their willingness to help us find our dad’s Father’s Day gift was everything! For this reason I will always recommend this store/location. Thanks Samantha!
Ansleys Atlanta Cycling is a focused shop specializing in bicycles, and you can tell that its staff are equally as focused and knowledgeable in the subject matter. I was fairly lost when I walked in, but Corvez helped me figure out which bike suited my needs most and felt the most comfortable to ride. As someone who hadnt ridden a bike in earnest for over a decade, the advice and supportive comments he gave me boosted my confidence and made me certain that it was the right decision to come to this store.
I’ve been a customer for a few years and I’ve always appreciated the high level of customer service exhibited by the team at the Ansley location. Everyone is so friendly and willing to answer questions.I didn’t have an appointment for a service, but the service team replaced my brake pads and tires and made some minor adjustments while I waited. It was great to be able to walk out a few minutes later with everything sorted out.
Brought my bike in for a gear cable repair. Was assisted by a knowledgeable bike repair assistant who mentioned some other needed repairs prioritizing them which I appreciated since I didnt have the money currently to take care of them all. When I picked up my bike, it was in much better shape and I felt like it was well tuned up beyond just the repairs I had paid for. Thanks so much for the great service!
Dont call this a bike repair shop; they no longer will fix your bike unless you have their exclusive brand. I guess they make too much money to service non-exclusive bicycles... They definitely need to update their statement: Our certified mechanics work on all brand bikes & styles. They flat our refused to service my bike on my last and final visit there.
The customer service at Atlanta Cycling-Ansley is unparalleled! They go above and beyond to take care of their customers, are polite, friendly, attentive, and genuinely care. John is amazing! I would highly recommend him and honestly any member of the staff at this location to take care of your needs. It’s truly been a great experience every time I’ve come in. Thank you!
Eric was an amazing salesman. He helped me over email, and he was so helpful when I went to pick up the bike. He made sure it was the exact size that I needed. He also put the new saddle that I bought on for me. I had never bought a Trek bike before, so I had a few questions. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend this store, especially if Eric is your salesman!
Love your staff and bikes! I know shipping has been an issue and supply has been tough but everyone has seemed updated and informed about what will be coming and kept me interested in products while I waited. Michael has always been helpful and I appreciated his dedication to making sure I was completely happy as a first time buyer from Ansley Cycle. Im ready to purchase my second Trek from you this weekend! See you soon :)
Only reason why I looked here was because it was slim pickings in my town. I bought two Trek mountain bikes, helmets and some accessories. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Customer service was the best.I had an issue with one of my helmets when I got back home. The owner called me personally going above and beyond out of his way to take care of the issue. This was a great experience! If I didn’t live so far away I would come here for all my biking needs. I would definitely recommend anyone to go to here. Thank you Atlanta Cycling Ansley!
John was very helpful and patient as it was my first time purchasing a road bike. He also helped with getting it into my vehicle by removing the wheels and showing me how to put them back on. I didn’t realize how scarce bikes are these days as a result of C-19. Luckily for me their shop had one after looking online.
Your staff was amazing and very welcoming. They were very knowledgeable on the phone and in person and handled our purchase perfectly. We were looking for a little bit lower end of bike but after showing us the bikes we ended up purchasing and explaing the differences we know we made the right choice.
I love the shop. I had the pleasure of working with Mike at the shop when I purchased my Trek FX-1. Mike even remembered my name when I came back a few days later to pick up my ride. I was always greeted with a smile and great energy. Everyone was nice and informative. I liked how the shop was very neat, clean and they practiced social distancing but I still felt welcomed and appreciated. Im looking forward to doing more business with Atlanta Cycling. Keep up the great work guys!
Excellent customer service at this store! Eric answered my telephone call and was able to locate a bike and help me reserve it with a deposit. He also offered additional, helpful selection suggestions. Samantha helped us when we got to the store and she was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. The store is incredibly busy right now, especially in light of social distancing, and we never felt pressured to hurry up. Both associates were interested in helping us and making sure we got the right bike. This purchase was for my 9 year old daughter who ended up getting the Trek 820 XS. We know how rare it is that you had this bike in stock! Weve been online searching and calling all across the country for a bike that would fit our tall child. How I wish we wouldve just picked up the phone and called our local store weeks ago! Thanks for helping us have a terrific experience, from that first phone call to the in-store encounter. It really made all the difference.
This place charges 100$ for a handle bar screw and THREW MY BIKE AWAY without contacting me first. Stopped by multiple times but they were closed, if you have a regular hour job that includes weekends don’t take your bike here. Pretty crazy!!! Watch YouTube & fix your own bike for a lot less & it won’t disappear.
Eric provided great services and answered all our questions with zero pressure to spend more than we had planned to spend. We had not had bikes in years and so we had a ton of questions and even though the store was busy, he never rushed us and gave us his complete attention. Great customer service combined with reasonable prices made this a win for us! Thank you Eric and Atlanta Cycling - Ansley!
Bought a bike from here in 2018. Decent bike.Called today to inquire about tire sizes for a project on that bike. Should be a simple answer, right? Got told Good luck with your project and rushed off the phone. No issue, another bike shop was happy to answer. But likely wont be buying from here again.
I looked at road bikes at other shops before but the service and expertise and Ansley was on a completely different level. Avery is very friendly, patient and knowledgeable, and Corvez was an awesome co-host on a recent group ride to Stone Mountain! The technicians will also get you in and out in minutes. I dont mind spending my hard earned money here.
Great sales staff. When I went to purchase I was shown a variety of bikes both above and below my price range. I ended up going a little higher because the features made sense in regards to what I was looking for. The recommendations were spot on and there was no pressure to buy. He knew what he was talking about and was obviously an experienced cyclist. The service department has been great too and takes care of what is necessary to keep my bike in tip top shape. Also I found that their selection of Trek bikes was excellent and this brand is clearly superior to some others that are sold at competitors. I highly recommend Atlanta Cycling at Ansley. Keep up the great work!
It was a pleasure working with Zach from Atlanta Cycling-Ansley! Buying a bike from 350 miles away was a little daunting, but Zach did a great job helping me from start to finish. He was very proactive contacting me with information about shipment and asking questions to get the bike ready for me to pick up on the promised date. He also gave me some great trail suggestions to round out my trip to Atlanta with some great rides!
I was referred to Atlanta Cycling by a couple of friends. Went to the store to buy a new bike. Zach attended me and was very professional. He knows his stuff! He took my requirements into consideration and provided the best option for what I wanted. He went above and beyond. Great selection of bikes and accessories. All of the staff has been very helpful every time ive been back.
I have to be honest. Ive been bike shopping for over a month. Ive been to just about every store in Atlanta trying to find the right bike. The New York Times reported that the demand for bicycles is so great that it will be difficult to find one. So the urgency intensified. Many of the sales people during my search were dismissive and even arrogant. Ive even visited another Atlanta Cycling store but did not get the quality of service that Ed at the Ansley store provided. Ed took the time to go over every detail of the bikes I considered. I couldnt have done better if I was the salesperson. I finally got what I think is the perfect bike for me. Bikes are an investment, the low end is well over $500. Ed provided me all of the information I needed with no pressure while keeping me in my price range. The Ansley store has a customer for life.
Excellent products, surprisingly huge selection (given the current climate). All of the staff on the phone, prior to arriving, and in the store were very friendly, light and professional. Avery was very knowledgeable and took me on a couple rides and took a lot of time working with me on my fit. Only reason this rating is not a 10 is because i live in Johns Creek.
From the very beginning of starting to look for the right bike, Atlanta Cycling has been extraordinarily helpful. Every single question I had (and there were a lot) was answered patiently and with full detail. They were honest with me on what I needed as well as what I didnt. Michael talked to me on the phone before coming into the store and worked with me all the way to helping me load my bike onto my car rack. Im excited to continue working with Atlanta Cycling for all bike needs in the future!
Nice but not helpful. The first time I called, I stayed on hold for about 10 minutes. The second time, they wouldnt take my bike for service because I didnt buy it there (I moved from out of town). Cant make an appointment--they gave me multiple reasons. I might be able to try for an appointment another time. I could call another one of their stores (yeah, right). Theyre sorry, but obviously not that sorry. Id like to upgrade my current bike sometime this year--but it wont be there.
Good lesson learned to NOT try them again.I had a flat tire last Tuesday- went there and the mechanic changed inner tube and advice me that I would need a tire soon - once he saw it was pinched. But he did fix it and said I was good to go.At same day I went for a ride and the tire blew - I fell, got minors injuries.Drove by again and had to argue with the mechanic that has happened regarding lack of knowledge and it could be something really serious. They gave my money back and any other assistance at all.
Fantastic experience! Ive been to several of the bike shops in Atlanta, and these guys went above and beyond to earn my business. Ramon spent lots of time with me to make sure I was getting the right bike, at a budget that was within my reach. Absolutely no pressure to get things I didnt need. After the bike was ready to pick up - he did a great job getting me set up and even going over how to change a flat. One of the best bike shops Ive ever been to...these guys have earned a new lifetime customer.
Bought my road bike from them almost two years ago and they have been nothing but helpful, friendly, and amazing mechanics. Its true that lots of tune up stuff is free and there is never any discussion - they just do it. I bought my bike there because I knew I needed a shop I could trust and would be able to help out in a hurry when needed. They have never failed me. If you bike a lot, you need a good friend in your shop, and I have found one!
Brought my bike in to have my bottom bracket looked at. Was lucky they had a replacement in stock which was a bonus. But the reason for the five stars is the great service. Lee did the repair while I waited, fixed a headset issue, and adjusted my derailleurs. All in about 30 minutes while I waited. Dont even have to miss a day off the bike. Great job. I will definitely be coming back to use Lee and Erik.
I bought my first Trek road bike from Atlanta Cycling Ansley location a few months ago. The environment in the shop was great! The staff was not only knowledgable but they were also very friendly. They work very well together. There is a positivity that flows throughout the entire shop! I was so happy with the service that I ended up buying another bike the following week for my 9 year old son. Unfortunately, a few months later I got rear ended while sitting at a red light. My bikes were mounted on my bike rack and they took a hit. I took the bikes back to the shop and they went out of there way not to only fix the bikes, but make me feel a whole lot better about that crazy ordeal! Lee was exceptional! He worked on our bikes, and even let my 9 yr old son participate! I highly recommend Atlanta Cycling!
Thank you to the Atlanta Cycling Team for helping me purchase a new mountain bike for my son. He thoroughly loves it and did his first ride today on it...20 miles! We look forward to working with your team to keep the bike at its optimal level as well as future bike purchases. Thanks again!!Dzan and Nicholas Ta
Great service - stopped by for a routine tire/tube replacement and they went above and beyond to clean old dried grease off my chain as well as lubricating the chain. 5 stars for going above and beyond when it was not what I came in for. Only draw back I suppose is I have a basic cheap road bike and the cheapest tire they had was about $60.
I just had great service at this shop. They put in new tires quickly and I was out in half an hour. I am not giving 5 stars because there were two older guys working there not wearing masks. While everyone else was I am wondering if they are the owners. What the hell? With such a good protocol for lining people up why arent those employees or owners wearing masks?
Fantastic buying experience! It took me over one year to make a decision, but the AC team was very patient with me. A big hats off to Brian Hornback who who worked with me and helped me find my dream bike! The bike was a special order item, and Brian updated me during the delivery process. The fitting process was excellent and the bike fits like a glove. This was my third bike purchase from AC and I have had an excellent experience all 3 times. I’ll definitely be back for a fourth bike purchase.
I was able to purchase a bike within my budget with excellent guidance from a very knowledgeable sales professional. Corvez Burke even assisted me in removing the front wheel and loaded the bike into the back of my vehicle. Would definitely recommend Atlanta cycling for the knowledgeable staff and ability to direct me to the appropriate bike for my needs.
I have purchased three bikes from Atlanta Cycling now and have had a great experience every time. I have been a repeat customer given the great sales staff and the free lifetime tune-ups. Most recently I worked with Ramon, who spent quite a bit of time fitting three different bikes for me to demo before I found the one I wanted. Excellent experience!
Helped me get my groove back! Great, consultative advice and instruction as I got my new road bike. Friendly, accessible and knowledgeable staff. One of the team even brought his bike in to let me try it out for size and construction. Im looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship with the team!
Ever since I stepped in the door I was treated like royalty. All the staff including the technicians and salesman were super helpful with my new bike purchase (Trek Domane 4.5 Disc) and answering any questions I had. They customized my bike to my exact personal needs and fit the accessories I had purchased. The staff was very personable and knowledgeable as well. I definitely recommend this particular location to anyone who needs help purchasing a bike, accessories, or a repairs!
Took my bike in to have a part replaced. Waited an hour and a half and told my part was on order because of a shortage. Then two months later I called to check the status. Turns out they didn’t even put the order in and I just wasted two months of waiting on parts. The manager told me to take my bike else where and that it wasn’t their problem that they didn’t put the order in. Will never go back and don’t recommend others to either.
Derek helped me find the bike I was looking for even though it wasnt the exact one I thought I wanted. The service was the best and when they didnt have a helmet I wanted in my size and color he ordered one that came in 2 days before I expected it. Again the young man who helped me with that was just as nice and helpful. I plan to go back for service periodically. Wonderful experience overall.
I have been a customer at Atlanta Cycling/Ansley for over 10 years and have purchased many bikes there. I love bikes and riding and so do these guys and that is what matters. They have a tremendous assortment of bikes from great manufacturers. The sales guys know their product and are able to talk to each customer in a manner appropriate to the customers knowledge base. The service department is great with rapid turn arounds. They understand if your bike is broken then you are not riding it and that is not acceptable. I typically do my own repair work and I know that that AC is always there to rescue me when Im out of my comfort zone. The staff is professional and courteous. Atlanta has a lot of good bike shops but Atlanta Cycling stands out above the rest. When I travel I find myself exploring bike shops and I would have to say Atlanta Cycling is a destination shop. Dont forget to ask for Mike, Brandon, Chuck, Chad...
The best serious cycling shop in Atlanta . . . I just bought a new road bike from Brian, and he was fabulous to work with. Very responsive and steered me to exactly the right bike for what I needed. He secured the only bike in my size left in Treks stock, and then he got it to me fast. Confident Ill get great service here going forward.
I have traded at another local bike shop but was dissatisfied primarily due to service and non-responsiveness. I took Atlanta Cycling for a test drive and could not be happier. It is just a whole new level of service, advice and product. It is always a joy to visit the store for little things or significant service. I don’t own a bike they even sell, but I get the “A” treatment any way. Great team.
Best bike shop around! Period!!! The sales staff are all super knowledgeable about there gear and all cycling trends to date. The shop mechanics are awesome. Eric, James , Ryan, and Ethan all know there stuff and dont try to pressure you into services you dont need. Ive been cycling all my life and would easily put Atlanta Cycling above all other shops.
Atlanta Cycling has become my local go to bike shop. They offer top notch service from pre-sales, sales, bike fittings and service. I always feel very welcome as I enter the store with a warm greeting of welcome back and how may I help you. They are knowledgeable on their products and have a wide selection. But what stands out most to me is the CUSTOMER SERVICE in the shop and in the service department. The bike fitting service is superb with follow up to ensure everything seems to be going well with the bike fit. Any time I have needed bike service, the technicians have been available to listen to my concern and have known immediately how to address those concerns. Another bonus is the weekly rides they offer from the shop. Its great to have a central location to meet and ride with other cyclists (and to make a quick run into the store if I need something before riding). I highly recommend Atlanta Cycling to any local area cyclists!
Amazing customer service. I somehow managed to break a bunch of spokes on one of my wheels. I limped the bike into the shop. They werent able to fix it on the spot, but they put a loaner wheel on so I could still get around while they fixed my wheel. The techs are super knowledgeable and professional. Ive had several good dealings with this place, including buying the bike and several tuneups. This is just the first time Ive remembered to write a review.
I arrived a little closer to closing, but they were in no rush to kick me out. I also really appreciated the fact that they were very thoughtful in providing me every single detail necessary to know in order to optimize and ride a bike comfortably (i.e. positioning, seat height, gears, etc.). Even though it was my first time buying a bike, I felt very welcomed and comfortable with my purchases. Although, my only critique would be to have more cheaper options (unless I was just naïve to how expensive biking could become).
Great service! I decided to spend the weekend in Atlanta for cycling the 6 gap century ride in the Smokey Mountains. Something went wrong in their computers and it appeared at first that there was no bike that I could rent, so I thought my weekend was ruined. However, they found a solution within 15 minutes and I was out on the bike in no time! They also have an impressive collection of new bikes and all other gear you might need. A genuine nice cycling shop!
Very pleased with shopping experience today! Staff was extremely polite and very knowledgeable about their products! They were able to assist me in finding the right spin shoe. They never rushed me. Good prices too. Best cycling store around. Will definitely return for future purchases.
Very disappointed in the way I was treated. Just wanted to get new tires for my basic bike.“We don’t have any that fit” he says. (700x35c, nothing special)“What do I need to do? Order online and bring them in?”He says “You can change them yourself”“Well, what tires should I get?” I ask.“Doesnt matter. Any kind will do”Thanks a lot! I already have looked online and was overwhelmed by the variety of different tires. A little advice would have been nice. And if I wanted to do it myself, I would not have come in. BUT I don’t change the oil in my car, why should I change these tires?I’ll tell you what I think. Because it’s not a $3000 super duper bicycle, they don’t want to be bothered. Thanks a million! 😕
I was disappointed in being nickel and dimed here. I got a full crankset replacement (hundreds of dollars) on my bike and the guy told me they’d be happy to make any adjustments to it for free if needed. When I went back because the limit screws needed to be tweaked (the derailleur was improperly installed so it knocked against the spokes) the previous guy was not working and the new guy didn’t believe me (I guess) when I told him what I had been told. He charged $15 for this very simple adjustment. It’s a shame to nickel and dime people for the small stuff and it feels like they took advantage.
Great service and an unassuming, helpful team of mechanics set Atlanta Cycling apart in the Atlanta bike shop scene. Ive been using AC for upwards of 2 years on everything from buying new to wheel rebuilds and have yet to have anything short of a great experience with these folks. Competent, knowledgeable, and approachable.
Every time I come here, an employee *runs* to the door to hold it for me as I bring my bike in, even though Im definitely capable of doing it myself. The employees all remember me and are *super* helpful; the level of service here is genuinely ridiculous. Not only that, but the selection of products is really good, and I always have a fun time browsing around or talking to the mechanics when Im having some maintenance done. Given how amazing this shop is, Id be happy to pay fair prices on parts and labor, but the prices are always better than fair—theyre great.I dont see any reason to go anywhere else; I couldnt recommend this place more highly.
My vote as the best bike shop experience in Atlanta. They have built 3 bikes for me (so far), and will certainly get all of my business based on the service I have had from them. I have had great advice in choosing components and setting up my bikes, and they have put up with my subsequent repairs and crashes (Im a little hard on bikes) without a murmur. What makes them different is that everyone I deal with - from the front desk to the repair Center in the back - is friendly, greets me when I visit, and go out of their way to be helpful. Highly recommended.
Thank you John (at Vinings) and Ryan and the whole team at Ansley. We had an outstanding experience ordering our Burley bike trailer from you and having it assembled and hooked up to our bikes we purchased from you a couple years ago. You all made the whole experience easy, efficient, and enjoyable. Amazon can’t provide what you gave us; we are glad we could support local and are appreciative of your customer service! Thank you.
Ethan from the shop was super helpful in helping me find the right product, and he answered a myriad of my questions. Relatively new to maintaining my bike, I learned a ton in just 10 minutes with Ethan. The AC Ansley store isnt the closest bike shop to my house, but this kind of customer care and service is well worth the drive!
This shop is OK, but not great.Overall, I have the feeling this is a shop geared towards those buying $3000+ carbon bikes and go racing in spandex on the weekends. They seem to offer great service for those types of customers. If you are just an everyday rider, bought a regular old bike on Craigslist and just need some repairs done, there are better and cheaper shops around.I have been there 3 times for parts and / or repairs for my old road bike, and all 3 times the guy ringing up my order had problems finding my order, using their own computer system, etc.Twice I had ordered something on their website, and was just picking it up. Both times they had problems finding my order in their system, and had to ask for help from a colleague. Next time, I will just order from Chainreaction Cycles or Wiggle honestly and save myself the trouble.Their mechanics are knowledgeable and friendly. So no complaints there.
I’ve been coming here for a few years after a referral from a friend who was big road biking enthusiast. I’m more of a casual weekend biker but I’ve had great service here every time I’m here, both in buying my hybrid bike as well as having it serviced each year. Would definitely recommend!
I received great service from these guys, they were very helpful diagnosing the issue and explaining it to me, and they went above and beyond in finding used parts to fix the issue instead of having to wait in these uncertain circumstances with respect to parts availability. Will definitely be going back.
There are quite a few bike shops in the midtown area but Atlanta Cycling is by far the most helpful. I wish is started going here years ago.I needed to ship a bike and they gave me a bike box from one of their shipments. When I scouodnt get the pedals off they quickly took them off and answered all my questions... at no cost to me.The shop is really nice and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.Don’t waist your time anywhere else. GO HERE!
Purchased two bikes here. Both great bikes, but decided to return one due to huge neighbor hills and recent back injury. They took the bike back (still within the 30 day trial period) and ordered another bike with electric pedal assist feature. We also returned a couple of other items with no hassles. They are always helpful and I have never felt I was pressured to purchase or that they tried to up-sell me. We will frequent this shop for the foreseeable future.
For a novice walking in was a daunting task for me, but Adam was friendly and helped calm my nerves. He asked me what I was looking for and when I threw out random phrases I’ve heard people say, he took time to listen and showed me. Gave the positives and negatives of the various bicycles. I left with a solid bicycle I will enjoy for years to come. I love the knowledge that I’ll have a lifetime of tune-up and I purchased a well made product. Thanks Adam for helping me with my Trek Verve 2.
My only issue is that I was told the wrong time for closing on Saturday and I missed my cycling event that I had scheduled for that Sunday due to not having my bike that I had previously paid for. I also tried to get them to throw in an accessory for the false information given, but that didnt happen as well. Overall I would still recommend.
Love this place. They’ve changed my life lol I don’t think I would’ve survived Covid without my bike. I ride 20 miles every morning now. The bikes are pricey but great quality and they stand behind their products. Family oriented business and I feel at home every time I walk in. They know my dog Bruce by name lol
My experience was not good here. I had my bike in for a tire change and tuneup in May. They kept my bike for two days and I assume they performed a tuneup. I didnt get a list of explination of everything they were going to do in this probed, but I assume looking over the bike and components was included. I got a flat a week later and changed the back tire. Upon attempting to ride after changing the tire I noticed that my rear derailluer would not change gears. Tires spin freely. I called them and told them about the issue. I brought the bike back in a few weeks later. They looked over it again. I received a call that they would need to order a barrel adjuster. The one I had was stripped. I asked, why this wasnt discovered during the tuneup process? The said it could just happen. I elected to pick up my bike and take it to another shop. I just dont trust what was or wasnt done. I feel like they should have covered this repair seeing s how I only managed one ride before having an issue. The staff was nice enough, but they never offered anything to assist. I think at the least they should have offered a discount. I would also encourage them to describe our provide a checklist of what is done during a tuneup and ensure that work for a reasonable period of time.
I originally went to Atlanta Cycling because the web-site listed a bike in which I was really interested. Before coming in I had ridden a lot bikes at 5-6 other shops, and was feeling a little confused but ready to buy when I found the right thing. Noah was really friendly and knowledgeable, and I was able to tell him all the bikes I had ridden and what I liked and didn’t. He listened, answered many questions, and I felt like it was important to him that I found the bike that was the one for me. I knew I was in the place where I wanted to spend my money when he took the time to set up the bike with me on the trainer even before test riding. Once I decided to buy he went even further, tweaking the fit to get it just right and making sure I had everything I needed. Thank you for a great experience, you’ve won a long term customer and I will always be happy to recommend your shop.
I called to ask about availability for flat cycling shoes. Was told they had a few pair. Get to the store and theres nothing but mens sizes. Would have been nice if theyd mentioned that before I drove 30 minutes for nothing. Yes. I told someone at the store. All I got was a tepid sorry about that.
I have a complicated bike. Luckily the service team here knows what they are doing. I used to go to the Vinings location but now the Ansley location is closer. If you call for status the team members can see the info in their system so you are not at the mercy of 1 guy. They are willing to address minor issues on the spot. I have been very happy with their service. As a note you get what you pay for; this is not a discount shop. But that is how they stay in business. You have to pay to play!
Thanks to everyone at Atlanta cycling for help with my project bike. The guys figured out a solution to make all of my ideas work and I could not have done it without them. Special thanks to Eric (Ansley location) who took the time to help with some installation tips. Everyone here is top notch with regards to knowledge and customer service!
I have been shopping at Atlanta Cycling for about ten years now, and have brought my last two bikes there, a Trek Madone road bike and Trek Fuel EX mountain bike. Their service is just incredible, with free tune ups for life when you buy the bike there. I drop by for any little thing and they are so quick to make adjustments, usually right then with a friendly smile. They greet you at the door, take the bike out of my car, and remember my name. They embody the best things about a local bike shop with top end brands and careful, expert service.
Purchased my first road bike from Atlanta Cycling - Ansley, in 2009. Exceptional service provided by very knowledgeable staff, top notch inventory carrying the latest cycling gear and apparel. Never too busy to sit down and answer your questions. These guys obviously love what they do, and it shows! Highly recommend.
Atlanta Cycling was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. They answered my questions when I called and let me know the full cost of parts and labor. Their Vinings store has employees to help you with anything during your visit. Fast, friendly, and helpful! I specifically was helped by the employee Troy, and will definitely return due to the great customer experience and their cycling knowledge.
I have been riding a long time and have bought bikes of all levels in three different large cities and all I can say about this shop is that its the most knowledgeable, customer service oriented shop and sales group I have ever worked with. I buy from them because they add value and knowledge to every single purchase or repair job.
Everyone they employ has been extremely helpful and friendly, from the people in sales in the front of the store, to the people in repairs in the back. Above and beyond. Example: coming out in the parking lot and helping me get my bike off the rack as soon as someone saw me pull up. That type of service is very unusual.
I have been to most of the Atlanta Cycling locations and met most of the staff. I love that at each location you get the same personal and detail focused attention. For a larger business, it feels like a small family shop.Road biking was an investment that I was hesitant to jump into. I purchased mymfirst bike from Duluth and and a while later was looking for an upgrade. Amos and other staff made that happen for me. Rather than being stuck with a bike that didnt work for me, they gladly exchanged everything for cost and got me set up with the right bike! Im loving my new Emonda SL 7 Disc and am so grateful for them accommodating my needs!
Needed a new road bike. Mine was over 7 years old and it was time for an upgrade. Atlanta Cycling was the nearest location to get a new Trek bike, as I had great experience with my first one. Really appreciated the time and effort they took to fit me into a new bike - the whole computerized system was a good experience and gave me multiple choices of bikes to choose from. The staff was genuinely friendly both times I visited - they had to order the one I wanted - and when I called. I was given plenty of opportunities to look at different bikes and test ride them. When I went to get my bike, it was sized perfectly and I was able to go out riding that day.Purchased the Trek Domane SL 5 with disk brakes. The extra money spent on the brakes were worth it.
I walked into Atlanta Cycling earlier this summer in search of a new hybrid bike. Upgrading from a bike I received back in middle school was a big step and Atlanta Cycling helped me make the move. From the get-go, Mikey helped me choose a bike that worked for me and fit me. After due diligence, I returned to Atlanta Cycling because of great customer service and havent been disappointed since. Mikey has been great in keeping in touch and answering my questions. Ive been back for several occasions since and always walk out so impressed with how much Atlanta Cycling cares and goes the extra mile.
Atlanta Cycling has the best cycling gear in town but thats not why I keep going back......I go back because the service is outstanding! They did a great job helping me pick out my bike and getting me fitted on it. They did such a good job with my bike, I ended up buying a bike for every member of my family.
My review has a unique view which many dont always have the luxury of having. I started my relationship with Atlanta Cycling in 2005 when they were still in Ansley Mall. From here I purchased my first real carbon bike a Scott CR1 limited. The year I purchased this bike I promised myself to do 5 Century rides without having any knowledge of what it would take. The shop worked with me not only on getting the correct bike, but one which would let me grow as a rider. As I completed this task and started putting more and more miles on the bike, my relationship grew into being a part-time associate of Atlanta Cycling. I have such a passion for cycling so to talk to people about bikes is like a dream. I would go on group rides and organized events with people asking where did you get that bike.....Atlanta Cycling come see us. It wasnt until I was asked to be on a Race Across AMerica (RAAM) team did I know how much I would rely on this shop. Not only did they get me a complete replace frame for the Scott I cracked, they also guided me through the process of purchasing a new time trial bike I would require for the event. As I was riding up to 450 miles a week, each bike was being punished, and not once did my bike fail due to a mechanical issue. I am back to just being a day to day customer, but I have two of the sexiest bikes (in my opinion) which are on the singing the praises of Atlanta Cycling. Thanks guys.
The folks at ATL Cycling Ansley are the definition of professional. Mikey has always been so knowledgeable, skilled and friendly with me. He truly wants people on bikes to have the best experience possible. The entire staff is patient and helpful. This is my go to shop in Georgia!
I received fantastic service today from Mikey Jencks at the Atlanta Cycling Vinings store. He spent a great deal of time with me working on my bike position, seat and cleats. That was the best service I have received from any bike store since I purchased by bike (also from Atlanta Cycling). I appreciate the friendly and helpful staff.
If you did not buy your bike here dont bother bringing it in was told they will not work on them absolutely their right. Just giving a heads up. Also, if you ask questions they have no clue about, they will send you on a wild goose chase. Oh, but I was told come in and buy all the accessories I need. No thanks found a shop closer who took care of me.
I went to the Ansley store for checking out the new womens Ajna saddle. The customer service was great. They put the seat on my bike, which was on the trainer, and made fore/aft adjustments as well as tweaked my saddle height. He spend time making the saddle adjustment so that I was sitting comfortable on it. Thanks for your help and time.
I have purchased 5 bikes and a Kuat rack from Atlanta Cycling. Never have I felt a single ounce of pressure. I brought in a rack that they do not sell or service there and they went out of their way to help me get all fixed up.I shopped with Mikey when he was at the Vinings store and gladly followed him to Ansley. He has always taken the time to chat, follow up with email to see how my bikes are riding and generally cares.Ryan in the repair shop at Ansley is hands down amazing, too.I won’t shop anywhere but Atlanta Cycljng Ansley for any of my needs and know I am always in excellent hands.
The team at AC always goes above an beyond to make the customer experience top notch. They are truly a first rate shop and go beyond the call of duty when it comes to repairs and purchasing; small and large. My family, friends and I have collectively bought over 10 bikes form them in past few years and will continue to do so...
I know this is long overdue, but thanx so much to everyone at Ansley that went out of there way 2 bring me the 🚲 i was looking for from there other location so it would b closer 4 me coming up from th deep south of Ga. Yea this bike was hard 2 find at the time so i felt lucky🍀that they just happened 2 have it n th color i wanted.Mikey was kind enuff 2 help me find a gud fit 🚴 and th proper gear that has set me on the most awesome course over the past 2&1/2+years. I have bought 5 bikes over the last 7 years from Atlanta Cycling (road bike, race bike, mountain bike, trainer bike, etc). The main reason I have gone back is their level of service. This is a no-nonsense, straight shooting outfit that will give the best possible advice and service to their clients. Highly recommended.

2021-11-26A small crack formed on the seat stay of my carbon fiber bike. I took it in to Atlanta Cycling and they contracted Trek and began the process of a warranty replacement since it appeared to be a manufacturing defect.I was given the option of a new bike or a replacement frame. I opted for the replacement frame. Due to the pandemic, the supply of bikes and frames was extremely limited and timelines for delivery were 3-4 months. That was out of anyone’s control, but the constant updates from Atlanta Cycling about the progress of the order and the expected shipping date helped keep me informed.Around 4 months later the frame arrived at Atlanta Cycling and the guys immediately began dismantling my old bike and moving the parts over to the new frame constantly keeping me up-to-date in any parts that needed to be replaced (which turned out to be very minimal). Within a few days I had my new fully built bike in hand and everything was perfect right out of the gate. John and Ben were my main points of contact and they did a great job. I believe Ben didn’t most of the build, but John helped me figure out all of my options whenever questions arose from me. And to add to that, they built out the bike and didn’t charge me for labor due to the long wait in getting the frame from Trek. That was a nice surprise and definitely made up for the wait, which was completely out of their control. The best part is that I was able to take that money and use it for a few upgrades, which also turned out great. Thanks to John, Ben and all the people at Atlanta Cycling for all the great work and for getting me back in the saddle as quickly as possible!-Scott

2022-01-10Great Local Bike Shop for all of your cycling needs. Very knowledgeable and customer-friendly staff. For me, it was New Helmet Day at Atlanta Cycling-Ansley. Very satisfied with the Bontrager NewWave Cell helmet

2022-05-01This company employees great people will make you feel welcome and excited about bicycles, even if you are a total novice with little capability or interest in being a racer or an athlete. In fact, they specialize in bringing backs a little kid inside you - the one that used to get on that bike at the beginning of the summer and barely get off it for weeks. They really listen to what you were looking for, help you understand your options and ensure that you fully understand the product that you purchase before you leave the store with it. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

2022-04-13When I parked, a staff member came out to the parking lot, greeted me, then took my son’s broken bike. He took one look at it, and kindly, sincerely asked, “is he ok?” Referring to my son. I was touched. Then he took the bike to the repairs area in back and introduced me to the repairs staffers, who was kind, confident, relaxed and knowledgeable. Gave me a quote and bike was finished by end of day. The store itself was clean and welcoming. Parking was simple. I’m grateful for how easy they made the repair process and how helpful, warm and friendly the atmosphere is, the team is incredibly nice. I’m now a loyal customer.

2022-05-25Super chill bike shop, great customer service. Stephen (steven? sorry!) spent a long time with me setting up my bike rack and fitting me on my road bike. I’m totally an amateur biker and everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend!! will certainly be returning for any of my future bike needs :)

2022-03-03What an awesome shop. I have no experience with bikes but I’m currently gearing up for a long ride and these folks took great care of me. Patrick opened the shop up early for me and took a ton of time answering my questions on gear and general bike care. Corvez also helped me with a few additional items and shared a ton of helpful knowledge that a novice like myself needed to know. Very thankful for the folks here and will be back 1000%. Thank you so much for the help!!

2022-05-25Best and fastest service Ive ever had. Although the service agent could have let me purchase a tire sealant from the shelf, he recommended that I wait for them to replenish stock for a specific type. The agent also informed me how to better care for my bike to save money in the long run. In Atlanta, this is the only bike shop for me.

2022-03-22I was dropping off our bikes for a Spring tune-up. The staff is so genuine and polite.Having not been in an awhile, I was greeted like I was in the day before. They have an incredible amount of options for all ages and riding style. I enjoy looking at the new year models as well as the higher-end cycles.Keep it up!

2022-04-10Totally awesome. Stephen W walked me through everything I needed to know and guided me through my bike purchase. He did an expert fitting and even made adjustments on the bike before I walked out the door to make sure my ride was perfect and unique to me. I couldn’t have asked for a better associate at Atlanta Cycling. The only downside is I wished they had a military discount of some sort.

2022-06-03I took my bike in to service last year to have the service crew look at a wobbly fork. I was grateful because it wasnt a brand they carried and albeit it wasnt a big problem, they still managed to tell me what was wrong and fixed the problem on the spot at no charge. This experience convinced me that my next bike would come from this shop. One year later when it was time for a new bike, I went back to buy and the service was as top notch as I remembered. No pushy salesperson, no pressure, no stress. Bikes are hard to come by these days and bike shops know theyll be able to sell them no problem - even so my experience was fantastic. Stephen (sp?) went above and beyond to help me determine if the bike was right for me. Post-purchase, he helped fit me on the new bike (at this point it was past closing for them - they could have easily told me to come back tomorrow). Anyhow, long story short, buy from these folks - theyll take care of you during and after to make sure youre always on your bike.
