Atlanta Cycling - Roswell in other cities:
Ive bought a bicycle 🚲 from two bike shops in the Alpharetta Roswell And Johns Creek district recently. Fresh Bikes and Atlanta Cycling-Roswell. I want to tell the American Public that after dealing with these Two Bike Shops that are literally less than a mile from each other going forward I will only be giving my business to one. And that Bike Shop that will continue to get My Business is Atlanta Cycling-Roswell. Their Service Department with the leadership skills and knowledge under Chris is the best in the business. While Ill be a Forever Customer of Atlanta Cycling- Roswell I will No Longer Be Doing Business with Fresh Bikes!
The salesperson was so helpful. The salesperson helped me with some suggestions…I went for a different option, and then ended up going back to get the bike the salesperson suggested. It was so helpful and the best purchase I’ve made in a long time. The service beyond that has been excellent. I’ve had my bike two years and love it more all the time.
Everyone I’ve dealt with here has been very friendly and helpful. There’s no big bike shop attitudes here. I’ve always been able to find what I need in store or have it ordered and shipped quickly. My only complaint is that I wish that I lived closer to the shop! Thanks
The team at Atlanta Cycling are always very helpful with anything we need bike related. I’ve purchased 7 bikes from the over the years and never had a bad experience. Anytime we’ve needed service the turnaround has been fast and work done well. I highly recommend them!
I took by bike in at the end of the day to get new brakes and they said it could take up to 2 weeks and I was perfectly fine with the time frame. I received a call the next day and said my bike was ready. They did a great job with the install and if I need any more work done in the future I will be taking my bike here.
The Trek Bike is awesome. So nice to ride. We are a couple of higher age that got two E-bikes. They work very well when your older body does not work as well as when you were younger. The Trek bikes are very well built and solid. The Folks at Atlanta Cycling are so nice and helpful. I highly recommend going to them and checking things out and buying from them. Thank you very much Atlanta Cycling.
First of all, when I called the store they talked with me very friendly and helped me with informative details for my query. They have a pretty large collection of bikes and very friendly and gentle associates. I measured my required bike size using their automated machine. Even the sales person helped me with mounting my bike in the car. Overall, it was a great experience. I highly recommend this store.
It was absolutely one of the best shopping experiences Ive ever had. I drove a long way for pick up due to the Ansley location not having the bike I wanted in stock but Josh (who was also great) found the bike I wanted. The customer service from Atlanta Cycling was next level. Ian was GREAT!
I had an awesome bike purchasing experience with Atlanta Cycling. First of all I called the store to ask about inventory and the gentleman checked inventory at all their locations. He encouraged me to come into the store to be visually fitted for a bike as the size another store told me I needed may not be accurate and that the Roswell store had one bike in the next size up that I should try. They held the bike for the afternoon so that I could try it out. Not only did the XL size bike fit me properly, this was the last one in the Atlanta area (I called three different chains) and the next shipments from Trek are expected in 9 months. Richard W took care of me when I arrived at the store. I had not bought a new bike in 25 years and Im thrilled with my new bike and the awesome sales staff at Atlanta Cycling.
Those guys are amazing. They are friendly, professional, accommodating, and take the time to answer your questions. Having shop benefits for lifetime adjustments on your new bike is fantastic! No wonder why they are the top Trek shop in the nation. You can shop with confidence that you are getting the best and the most honest shopping experience.
These guys put a bike together for me that I had bought online. They were super knowledgeable and friendly. I knew my bike would be in good hands as soon as I spent 10 minutes with them. They got it assembled 3 days sooner than I had asked and it rides great. I would highly recommend this establishment!
Excellent bike shop with knowledgeable, friendly staff. From my first phone conversation to my visits to the store they make me feel like family. I took my Trek super commuter e-bike to them and needed a charger - they ordered the charger for me and had it in 3 days. They gladly offered to charge the battery for me since I had to wait a few days. The tech there also took me back in the shop and showed me the proper way to clean and lube the chain. Carol is super nice! I will definitely be coming back to this store.
Chris and James were very helpful (even though I got their names wrong, hopefully Im right this time). They had the bike I was looking for, and provided great detail on my questions. made me comfortable and helped me with some of the other nice to have/need to have tools etc. Great friendly store. Knowledgable staff. And the Bike is Amazing: Trek Fuel EX 8 XT. 1 trail ride done and was amazed. 2nd ride was a flat trail, 10 miles in about an hour. on par with my hard tail hybrid.
I’m so excited to finally have my bike. With Covid, finding the bike I wanted was nearly impossible. The wonderful staff at were wonderful.Ian helped me from the day I ordered my bike until the day it was delivered and I could pick it up.Ian helped me find the perfect helmet and accessories that I needed for my new bike.Absolutely wonderful experience!! I’m loving my bike and my friends love the fun accessories I have.
I bought a Trek here for about $700 and ended up needing 2 spokes replaced after about 2 months. That wasnt the problem. The problem was that when I called to get the work done they essentially told it wasnt worth their time. To quote the guy I spoke with as best I can, he said If all you need is something like a spoke replacement youre going to have to find somewhere that isnt as busy as we are. What this guy didnt seem to realize, or at least not care about, was the fact that to me, the customer, it didnt matter if it was a $30 repair or a $300 repair. Either way I couldnt ride until it was fixed. But I quickly found out just how much they dont care about your repeat business that day.On a side note, I took my bike to Twisted Spokes in Johns Creek and they were happy to fit me into their schedule. I will definitely be getting all of my repairs done there from here on.
Especially during this pandemic, great customer service is extremely important. Richard & the staff at Atlanta Cycling made my purchase of a new bike very easy and enjoyable. Im very happy with choosing Atlanta Cycling as my new neighborhood bike shop. Ill be back soon!
Your people are amazing! They are genuinely interested in helping me in my cycling journey. Their questions and advice were above and beyond what I expected. Thanks to the team’s help, I have SO much more confidence in getting into maintaining my bike and even racing! Amos and Carol feel like friends. I’m so thankful for this team. I have a new go-to shop.
Service was wonderful! I felt safe leaving my bike and picking it up in the front. My bike got a new chain, wheels, tubes, handlebar tape & a tune-up. Id highly recommend them. Plus, they were so kind to take the nail out of my tire that I got 30 mins. after I picked it up. Amazing service!
All the folks at Atlanta Cycling’s Roswell location have been very helpful. I decided to buy a bike in October, researched a bit online, then went to the store. I had lots of questions and didn’t know which of 3 or 4 models I wanted. The salesman answered my questions, showed me the bikes and discussed the strengths of each one. We discussed my riding plans and we narrowed down to 2 that I then test rode. I still wanted to mull it over and cross check with some biking friends. The staff gave me NO PRESSURE to buy right away. I came back a few weeks later, test rode again, and made my purchase. I have been back twice since my initial purchase. I stopped in for a quick check before a camping trip I was taking my bike on ( they checked it for free and I didn’t have to wait)! Last week I went back and got a cushier seat and a phone mount. I have several months in which to decide whether the new saddle is the best one for me, if not I can return it with no problem. They installed the phone holder and saddle, and even offered to load the bike on my rack for me. These folks truly know how to treat their customers well and will keep me as a customer as long as I live in GA!
Excellent setup on my Trek Rail 7. Found in stock at Ansley location, brought to Roswell to assemble and deliver closer to me. Great communication on updates to Bosch software. Customer for many years to come! Michael rides a lot and brings that honest experience to his customers!
Best experience ever! Staff were very professional and pleasant to work with. I was shopping for a womans bike for my 12 year-old daughter and Atlanta Cycling had a perfect one with good price. Staff (Mallory) took time to explain me about differences between models and sizes, how to measure to find a right one for my daughter, had my daughter to test ride it although it was close to their closing time on Sunday. I strongly recommend this shop.
Pros:(1) Excellent customer service on the phone and in person.(2) Staff treats everyone equally..... experienced cyclists buying high-end bikes and newbies purchasing their first bike ALL get ample customer attention.(3) Acknowledged immediately upon entrance.(4) Loads bike for you into the your vehicle.Cons:(1) Inventory was low for a couple of basic items (large Bontrager helmet and kickstand) BUT I will take zero stars off for this because restricted inventory has been the norm for many cycle shops during this recent Covid quarantine period. Plus, Richard found those items for me at a different location.
Always greeted by name and bike is always top-notch when I get it back. Never had a bad experience or even anything that felt off. Great shop.Tried Free-Flite, Fresh, Roswell Bikes- not a smile in the place. No one is forcing them to work there, but they act like everything is a chore and theyve done it a million times. Zero enthusiasm.Kudos to the service team at Atlanta Cycling for taking the time to hear what I want, instead of lecturing me on what they think I need.
I brought Trek Dual Sport 1, DP3 and Marlin 7 from this store. Michael helped me to get the bikes for me and my family. My family enjoying our trek bikes. I must say this store is really clean and fill with bikes that we needed.I will comeback here to buy one more bike for my mom.
Just want to say thanks again to the team at Atlanta Cycling – Roswell for all their help on BRAG this year! Their bike rental service is great! If you have anyone coming in from out of town for a cycling event, they have you covered! The rental bike was like-new condition, worked flawlessly and they had any needed accessories in stock and ready to go.Back in the 90s, I was fortunate to work for both the current and previous owners. Theyre great people, and serious cyclists. Its awesome to see their passion and support for the cycling community in Atlanta is still so strong!THANKS!!!
I like how I was led through the process of purchasing a bike. My needs were taken into account as well as addition accessories I felt were necessary. It may be pricy, but I knew I could afford it and I can get free service on the bike if anything were to happen to it. Personally, it was a worthwhile investment.
This is the closest bicycle shop to me. Total spend here for me is only about $500 in parts and services over the 4 years I have lived close by. Unfortunately a few months ago I tried to schedule some regular service on my bicycle a month out. They told me over the phone they would not schedule time with me unless my bicycle was purchased from them. Although there was a large demand for bicycles due to COVID, I did not understand why I could not schedule maintenance on my bicycle a month or month and a half out. I found another shop and will take my business there going forward and can no longer recommend this shop to my neighbors.
The staff at Atlanta Cycling went the extra mile to make my first “fancy bike” purchase as smooth as possible. They offered tips, explained details of the bike, and even made sure it was secure to travel the 4.5 hours back home. I was crazy intimidated to step into a bike shop because I clearly don’t even look like I know what I’m doing, but I felt like one of the gang as soon as I stepped foot in the door. Cheers!
We went here to look at getting back on bikes. We havent made a purchase yet, but probably will. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They knew the Trek product like (their primary line) inside and out. They also showed great respect and understood we were pre-shopping, so they did not try to pressure us into a purchase. They even recommended waiting a month until the new models were out. Very nice!
Very knowledgeable staff and anything you need for cycling, they have! Full service shop! Upbeat staff. Richard was so friendly and made sure I was comfortable with my new bike before I walked out the door! He went over all aspects since this was my 1st bike purchase in many years. He also showed me how to take off the wheel and we went over how to change the tires. Concerned for my safety, he made sure I was choosing the right helmet for the correct fit as well as an air pump and accessories for my new Trek Verve 2 Disc bike. I walked away ready to hit the trails! Thank you Atlanta Cycling!V Henson, Marietta, GA
Being new to cycling the treatment I received from other places was just disappointing; not with these guys.Best Customer Service I had from a bike shop, ever. I purchased my new bike at Atlanta Cycling (Roswell) and couldnt be happier. Besides the bike being great the Attention to the customer in this shop is outstanding. Amos did my bike fit and made sure to spend his time to know me and my goals and how these would affect the fit.
I recently purchased a new Trek Roscoe 8 at Atlanta Cycling and am very happy with it! My wife tried it and liked riding so much that we went back and purchased a bike for her as well. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Also, both bikes came in well before they were scheduled to and the staff immediately got them set up and delivered to us. Overall, we have been very pleased with Atlanta Cycling!
Mike P was our representative - from the time he opened the door until we purchased 4 bicycles - he was knowledgable, professional, patient and extremely helpful. We couldnt get all four bikes on our rack, he was kind enough to drop off 2 of our bikes at our residence. World-class service, highly competitive pricing and great support throughout the purchase.I will most definitely recommend your shop to my families and friends.
We bought a bike here for my daughter and had a very pleasant experience. They helped us get her into the right size and find a bike that she loved and would lasts for years to come. I would definitely look here if you are interested in buying any type of bike. The store was clean and very well stocked and organized.
I visited Atlanta Cycling while businesses were having to take stringent precautions for COVID-19. The guys met me and other customers outside the store, bringing out the equipment we were interested in so we could look at it in a safe environment. I told them I wanted an entry-level mountain bike. I really appreciate that they showed me the bike I was looking for and didnt waste my time trying to upsell me. Im glad I shopped at Atlanta Cycling, and I walked away with the perfect bike for me. They also offer a 30-day test-ride period and lifetime free adjustments.
I bought a bike from these folks more than 15 years years ago, and the support for tune ups has always been great and no charge. I paid them to rebuild the bike a couple of years ago and then didnt get to ride it much last year. Theyd put a new sprocket cassette on it replaced the chain, the control cables, and a wheel and tire. When I started using it this spring, it was hunting/skipping gears, so I just dropped it off before closing on Friday night a couple of weekends ago, and it was fixed and test ridden first thing, the next morning, no charge. Works perfectly again! Great customer support
Since my first purchase in 1986, Atlanta Cycling (formerly Cycleworks) has consistently provided timely and honest service. They have always taken the time to educate me on bike technology so I can make an informed buying decision, without pressuring me to purchase or trying to up-sell me. They truly want to help find the right bike for you, not simply make a sale. I highly recommend them.
Great shop! After visiting several stores Atlanta Cycling shined the brightest. Being a new cyclist Richard was extremely helpful in teaching me the basics and pros and cons of the different styles of cycles. He allowed me to test ride all the cycles that I wanted to always being patient and never pushy!5 Stars for Atlanta Cycling!Roger W.
The team at Atlanta Cycling are so nice and helpful. My son has a bike that we actually bought somewhere else before we knew of Atlanta Cycling, and hes constantly breaking it, so I have to take it to Atlanta Cycling to fix. They dont make fun of my sons cheap bike and always fix it quickly and at a great price, and usually go ahead and tighten everything else up for me. I really appreciate everyone there.
What I liked about your products and services: Your willingness to work with an out of towner needing to keep up an exercise regimen. Your knowledge of the Atlanta area for the best and most interesting trails to ride. I had no idea being fitted to a bike was important or even possible. The level of expertise was impressive. The rental bike was lighter than the one I customarily use and a surprisingly smooth and fast ride. And not least your excellent customer service. Kindness and a smile can never be overrated.
The Atlanta Cycling team is second to none: outstanding customer service, outstanding professionalism and knowledge, outstanding attention to customer needs. But what stands out most is that the team members (Carol, the two Chrises) are super positive persons who exude positivity and enthusiasm for the sport of cycling and interact with me with genuine care and concern for me as a person and not just as a customer. This kind of attitude can only come from the top down, I surmise, and it makes for a highly sustainable customer relationship. I wont go looking to save a few bucks online or bother with another shop because its more conveniently located for me; Ill take my business of 7 cyclists in my family to Atlanta Cycling for years to come.
A wonderful bike shop, made even more wonderful by the fact that its not too far from my house. The interactions that my family has had via phone, e-mail, and in-store at this location have all been top notch. Extremely helpful staff and wide variety of products for all of your cycling needs!
My girlfriend and I recently decided to get into cycling. We went to Atlanta Atlanta cycling and could not be happier that we did. Great service and they were incredibly helpful with helping us find a bike that would be best for us without trying to upsell us to a bike we dont need. We are loving the bikes and when/if we upgrade Im sure Atlanta cycling is where we will go.
My product, trek FX 3, was available right there in the store - as well as all the accessories I needed. I was able to test drive the bike, get it set up, get my accessories and get on the road right away. I basically went from the Internet to the store and onto the road in a span of a couple hours! Chris and his sales team were inviting and very helpful. Plus, I get a lifetime of set up and some tweaks to my new bike for free. I would recommend the shop to anyone looking for a bike.
Amazing service and staff. Great place to visit. Visit often, buy from them whenever you can. Service is on point and top notch. Cameron and Chris are terrific, detail oriented mechanics which do not stop until your ride is running correctly. A+ all the way around. Tuesday night ride is for all levels and they look out for beginners and advanced riders a like.
Absolutely love this place. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Rented three bikes from here for the Lanier tri and they worked with me on pickup and drop off. Loved the customer service. Only constructive criticism I could have would be a tutorial on changing gears while I was testing out the bike. Then again, I told them I knew how to ride so that is likely my fault. Highly recommend the place.
I went in for some last minute Christmas shopping for our 7 year old.He has a hand- me -down bike with training wheels that has left him lacking confidence in its sturdiness. We met with Zac, who was friendly and helpful to find a bike perfect for my sons size. He let our son take it for a spin around the shop a few times. Our son loved the bike and was comfortable on it immediately. I love that they offer life time maintenance on the bike. This is a great shop for novices and experts alike!
Ive had my road bike for a few years and never really enjoyed riding it because it was uncomfortable, caused shoulder and neck pain. I took it to Amos at Atlanta Cycling Roswell for a fitting and he made a couple of adjustments and WOW, what a difference. I had been fitted before, but Amos is a true Master Fitter, someone who understands how a body is supposed to fit on a bike. Everyone at the store is so nice, professional and helpful...I highly recommend them!
We were helped today by Chris. He was very knowledgeable regarding the best hybrid bikes for women. Had great suggestions for which bike would be best to help me get back into the swing of riding. He also informed of a of great trail close by and a park that we can visit as a family on weekends.Very nice store and had lots of variety. Also offers bike repair.
Okay, let me start by saying that this was our 2nd bike shop we went to today. Personally, I will never go back to this one. More than anyone I know we are in the midst of a pandemic, since I work on the frontlines as a healthcare worker. I say I will not go back even after the pandemic has ended, due to how the sales people made me feel. They are taking things to the extreme in my opinion. By that I mean that you cant go into store to look around. I purchased a helmet and they wouldnt let my son try it on before we even purchased it. He needs a bigger helmet and we were exalted from looking for one. They just brought it outside and allowed us to look at it we couldnt touch the box it was in. Really absolutely ludicrous...I am giving 1 star because I cant give zero stars.
Your products are great, but it is the customer service that keeps me coming back. I am always treated immediately and with sincerity. My recent experience with Amos was no exception. He took interest in me and what I was training for. As always, what a great store with wonderful staff !
UPDATE ADDEDA new update and explanation will be added shortly. I originally gave them 1 star. Since then, the owner has stepped in to correct the situation. He has gone above and beyond what was expected to make things right. My bike rides like a new bike and looks almost like a new bike. I am now very pleased with how things worked out.Several years ago I purchased a great bike for a great price from the Ansley store. Initially, their customer service was great. Recently, because it is closer to my house, I took that bike to the Roswell store. I told them what needed to be done and what upgrades I was interested in. I was in a hurry and didn’t realize they never gave me an estimated price until later. Every other day for a week the store called me and nickel and dimed me for more money. I have been riding for 20 years and never been made to feel so frustrated and irritated by another bike shop. Is their customer service not what it once was or just not the same as the Ansley store?UPDATE!It only gets worse. After 2 1/2 weeks I got tired of dealing with the Roswell store and picked up my bike. After all, a major car repair takes less time. They charged me over $250 and my bike is still not fixed. It still has the same problem I asked them to fix when I dropped my bike off. They said they are still waiting on a part. When I spoke with them by phone on the 11th, they told me that they would order that part and my bike should be ready on the 16th. Later, I spoke with them by phone on the 17th. I was told the part has not come in. However, they said it should now arrive on the 18th and they would have my bike ready then. On the 22nd I called them to ask if my bike was ready. I was told the part still had not come in. Then, the shop changed its story. They said the part was not even ordered until the 19th, 3 days after they initially told me the part would arrive. To make sure I was correct, I have verified these dates with my call log and the messages they left on my phone . I CAN ONLY CONCLUDE THAT THIS STORE HAS BEEN COMPLETELY DISHONEST. If they are being dishonest with me, they are being dishonest with everyone else. How can you trust anything they say?
Absolutely amazing customer service. Went there to get something done for my bike - it turned out it was under warranty still with REI - notwithstanding that they were super gracious to help me load my bike back in my car and watch my daughter while I went to get the car. I will absolutely do my next bike shopping with them.
I stopped by to ask repair questions. Sign says wait outside but I could see the store was empty. Totally empty except 3 employees. One guy said wait there, so I stayed on the welcome mat. Next guy said please wait outside. I left. Theres no real reason to enforce covid rules if the store is empty and its 90 degrees outside. I get its a pandemic but customer service is still important. BTW i had a full face shield on and had no intention of walking further than the welcome mat.
Super impressed with the courtesy and willingness to help a potential customer. Amos took a call from me over the phone at closing time one night but still took the time to connect me with another Atlanta Cycling location to get me with someone he thought could assist more on what I was looking for. Super people, super place !!!

2022-07-12After visiting two other stores in our area I finally found a bike store that gets it. My sales person asked what I wanted to accomplish with my riding, where would I ride, how often... he actually worked to make sure I got into the right bike, not selling me something I didnt need. It was a great experience all around.

2022-06-10I walked into Atlanta Cycling not knowing much about what kind of bike I needed. I was greeted warmly and Tina asked how she could help me. I explained I was looking for a bike that ‘fit’ me perfectly which she did. She listened intently and gave me several options to choose from. I selected a Trek Verve 2 Hybrid bike. Boy, what a comfortable bike! Tina helped me learn the gear shifting, how to adjust the seat height, handlebars, how to remove the seat if needed, fixed me up with a handy tool bag that attaches just under the seat, fitted me with gloves…she got me all ready with everything I needed! I was ready to ride!! I love the bike I got thanks to Tina! She is so very helpful and knowledgable! I would recommend Atlanta Cycling to EVERYONE who is looking for a great first bike or upgrading the one they have. They even offer basic maintenance for free for lifetime of the bike! Ask for Tina when you get there and you’ll be riding in no time!

2022-06-09I was looking for a specific brand of cycling bibs, which I couldn’t find at 3 other cycling supply stores. I’d called ahead of time to save me an unnecessary trip. But Richard saved the day by not only giving me the good news that Atlanta Cycling did indeed have it but also in the right size. When we arrived at the store we were further impressed by the service given to us by Richard and the friendliness of the staff. We also ended up buying cycle tires not found elsewhere. Thanks Atlanta Cycling for your well stocked store and an exceptional level of service❣️

2022-05-14I called ahead of visiting and spoke with Tina. I explained my situation and what I was looking for and she listened and understood exactly what she thought would be great for me. Im just a casual bike rider and was slightly intimidated before calling and visiting the store, but everyone there was incredibly friendly and helpful. And I as suspected, Tina had really listened to my situation and knew exactly what to recommend. I am thrilled with my new bike and love knowing I have a great place to go for keeping it serviced. Tina ROCKS!

Ill definitely recommend Atlanta Cycling. They have a great selection of bikes and electric bikes. The guys there are very helpful and friendly. The shop is clean and welcoming. Im very happy with the brake line repair and thankful they could fix it.

2022-04-10As a newbie they were so helpful & welcoming. I came in to buy cycling shoes for the first time. A lot of attention was spent to make sure they were a proper fit & they let me know the things I should look for when riding. Highly recommend!

2022-06-21This cycle store is phenomenal! They’re all professional, courteous, knowledgeable and genuinely care about their customers. I had a unique situation and they took great care of me from the moment I walked in the door to the moment they loaded my bike on my truck. They were thorough, informative and were done with my service appointment in no time! I won’t take my bikes anywhere else!
