I have the opportunity to frequently get massages, and this ranks in the top 5 of the many that I have received. Definitely worth a visit.I was in Atlanta for the weekend with some unexpected free time AND a sore back. I had been to the chiropractor for treatment several times over the past few weeks, but was getting no relief. Based on the prior reviews, I decided to give Atlanta Massage Retreat a try, even passing on using my Massage Envy membership.Upon arrival, I was a bit surprised by the third floor business office location. But other than that, it was a terrific experience. Personally, I enjoy a vigorous deep tissue work over. And while I’ve had more intense sessions, this did not disappoint.As is typical, I described my ailments to LaTrissha, who did my massage. I also ranked my issues and told her to only move on to the next when she sensed the area was responding. If we didn’t cover all, that was fine. Well, we did cover all and I’m happy to say this is the best my back has felt in several months. She also gave me relief working the nerve from my lower back to my knee. Something my chiropractor has failed to do. The result is terrific.LaTrissha must have professional training beyond massage. She incorporated some mild stretching and found the exact spot in my back causing the problem. She has me wishing I was staying longer in Atlanta!!I highly recommend a visit. Thank you LaTrissha!
On a whim, when in her building last week, I stopped in to ask Latrissha about some ongoing lower back issues, and she was so knowledgeable, that I decided to go in for her $45/Hour New Client Special. This was not just a regular massage, this was deep tissue and medical massage at its best, including stretching and plenty of lower back relaxing techniques. Much better than your regular massage experience! Highly recommended! Im going back, and my back actually feels better as well.
My boyfriend and I booked an hour long couples massage and both ladies were magnificent! If I could give 6 stars I would! They had clean linens and sanitation stations throughout the facility!
Hands down the best massage I’ve ever had. Latrissha really knows her stuff and was able to heal a back and shoulder injury I’ve had for about a year. She’s so passionate about what she does and it shows! Her deep tissue massage truly changed my life and allowed me to start running again. Book now- you won’t be disappointed!
Latrissha is an amazing massage therapist..her massage technique is awesome..deep long strokes relives all the pain..she has magic in her hands..I have bought package of 6 massages which costs you one massage for $50..her spa is very cute..Latrissha is not only amazing massage therapist but also a cheerful, happy go lucky, kind and sweet person..
Latrissha and her team did a corporate chair massage event for me and their service and professionalism were top notch. They were early, included music and aromatherapy and made it very inviting. My employees raved about their massages. I would definitely go with them again.

My shoulders have been tense from sitting in front of a computer for hours working remotely. Massage therapist told me I need a little more work on my right fascia (I didn’t know what that muscle was but I knew it was uncomfortable on in that side). Grateful my friend shared her therapist with me. Looking forward to my next appointment.
I often get massages and this was one of the best Ive had! Good quality massage and she was polite and courteous. I left feeling much better. I have found my new massage home.
The office was dimly lit, and a soft piano melody was playing which made an immediate impression. Latrissha was AMAZING and she relieved EVERY ailment on my overworked torso that I detailed in the questionnaire before the session. Her movements are slow and deeply concentrated, and I felt pain leaving my body with her expertise. GO HERE, stop wasting your money elsewhere!
If there were more than 5 stars, I would go on. Trisha is super amazing. I have never experienced comfort, professionalism and total relaxation like I do when I am in her establishment. She takes her time to understand what my needs are and pays careful attention to them. I love going to her. ❤️❤️

I can’t wait to return to my regular monthly massages. The shoulder I broke 4 months ago is healing nicely and my physical therapist said massaging would help increase its range of motion.I have always felt better after massages at Atlanta Massage Retreat and I’ve missed them!
My husband and I booked the couples romance package which included 1 hour swedish massages, champaign, and dessert! The entire experience was more than we could have ever imaged! Excellent service and superb swedish massages! We will definitely be returning again!!!
Best massage Ive ever had. Hands down, no contest.Jimmy found this place through Groupon. I used the online booking tool to schedule my 50-minute massage, which was really great - to see how full the schedule was and get an idea of good times, as well as easily book my own.When I arrived, I was a little worried by the age of the building and the construction being done outside (including jackhammering). I made my way to the corner of the 2nd floor where AMR is located.The receptionist was friendly and handed me the paperwork to fill out. Latrissha was also there to say hello. They both explained that theyd try to call to reschedule on account of the jackhammering. I explained that as long as it wasnt a screaming child, I wouldnt mind.I explained where I needed attention, and she focused on that. I had a hurts-so-good moment, when I thought for a second about asking her to ease up, but then realized thats how tense I was and that I really needed that much pressure. Despite the jackhammering, it was a perfectly relaxing experience.At the end, the receptionist took my groupon and saved it for when my husband came in for the other use. I appreciated that they handled it, making that process less stressful as well.Since then, Jimmy has gotten me a few more massages, and Ive gotten a few more for him. These are the real deal - great pressure, really relaxing. Service is always excellent!
I had an enjoyable experience at Atlanta Massage Retreat. The massage therapist was very talented and professional. The environment was wonderful and worth every penny. This is my favorite place in Atlanta and cant wait to go back.

2022-06-06Neria is a new therapist here, she is young, sweet, polite, attractive and has a very relaxed but efficient style. She starts soft but she does the magic. I had spine pain from bulging discs recently discovered. She knew what technique will work, it was pretty innovative. She helps reduce my anxiety from a 10 to about 1 or 2!

2022-01-16Latrissha is amazing!! My muscles are so tense from a really bad car accident. I also have an office job that requires me to be in front of a computer 80% of the work day. After my massage, I felt lighter and my pain level decreased. Im looking forward to my next appointment!

2021-06-28This is, hands down, one of the best massages Ive ever had! My back has been a mess for a long time - knotted beyond imagination, leading to lots of headaches and fatigue. Trisha worked on everything with a LOT of attention and I could feel my back slowly releasing. Shes amazing! This was a real deep tissue treatment, and I will definitely going back to her. Also, shes a lovely person, warm and cheerful, so you are put at ease the minute you walk in.

2020-11-11I recommend Latrissha; shes very friendly and thoughtful, and shes respectable small business owner. Good price for this area, especially when you sign up for 6 massages over a 6-month period, which gets the price down to $50 per 1-hour massage. No frills or spa experience. She is very knowledgeable about muscles and can apply a good amount of pressure. For prenatal massages, she does side-lying. When she was working on getting out some tightness in my back, I think she could improve by rubbing another area at the same time as putting pressure on the tight spot to distract me from hurting. Other massage therapists Ive been to have had a water cooler to remind me to drink water right after, and I think that would be a good improvement as well. Overall, unlike many massage therapists, she was willing and able to go under my shoulderblades to get problem areas, and I trusted her to do so.

2021-06-06Latrisha is amazing. I tell all my friends that she has magic hands. Ive had a few massages so far and every time Im greeted with friendliness and professionalism. I need deep tissue work regularly, but my muscles become more tense. Latrisha, on the other hand, is the only massage therapist who can actually make my muscles relax during a deep tissue session.
