County facility that while is getting a bit older by current standards well maintained. Is is spotless as a hospital? No but with over 750 swimmers, their families, coaches and staff no surprises. To keep from loosing the local club swim team the county really should be meeting with the team and offering some renovations. Its how you make a good facility great again.
This was my first time to visit this location with my daughter who is new to swim team. Parking was adequate there were police officers handling the crowds and helping with traffic. Everything seemed to be a great environment for the kids and parents. Maybe I will get to revisit this location for a more casual nature so I can explore it more. Professional atmosphere and layout.
Took my daughter and niece. They loved it! I wouldve given them 5 stars had they let the girls use the pool noodles. They only allow those for water aerobics class so they should store them where kids cant see so they dont get upset when they are not allowed to play with them.

2021-12-14The lap pool, rec pool and locker rooms are FIRST RATE. I give three stars rather than five because their communication to the public of pool status is horrible. No one answers the phone. The website has NO information on it. I have a vague recollection of a swim meet today (noted ONLY on a board as you enter the facility). I have called 10 times. No answer. I drive 25 miles to swim there, that’s how great a lap pool it is. But - is it open today? I have nooooooo idea.I reallllllllllly wish they would:1. Change outgoing message if pool is closed2. Post closures and events on the dang website.

2022-06-18This is a fantastic lap lane pool for swimming and my favorite in the area. The pool is 7-9 feet deep, no shallow point. There is a separate pool with diving board for recreational swim. Both pools are indoor pools.During the fall/winter/spring months the lanes are 25 yards.During the summer months they switch them to 50 yards. The bathroom showers dont get hot water just fyi.The guards and staff are incredibly friendly.

2022-06-15They close the doors 30 minutes before the listing says and They close the Pool 15 minutes before that.So if you get there at 7:29 you have maybe 5 minutes to swim and after 7:30 you can5 come in.

2021-07-22Not what I expected but it was okay. Kids can have some fun but looks run down. About 18 light bulb are out so its some what dark. Small pool for recreational use. What can you expect its Augusta not miami.

2020-07-09Pretty good place to swim. Friendly staff, lots of rambunctious kids swim teams that practice here daily. Theyve worked hard to improve the facility the past couple of years, and thats great. If you swim laps like me this is a good place. Its fantastic in the middle of the day, before 4 PM.PS Im no Michael Phelps or Missy Franklin, but the workout keeps my weight off, back fluid and helps manage my diabetes better.

2019-05-02Ive swam in pools around the country and this is a nice facility. The bathrooms could use updating and the lifeguards could have been more focused on the pool, but both items are common in public aquatic centers wherever you go.Overall the staff was kind, the pool clean, entrance fee reasonable, lap swim hours great, and the showers hot. The community is lucky to have this facility.

2018-06-01The building looks nice but the restrooms are not well kept. The guards are horrible! They never pay attention to anything. They are usually huddled up together talking or on their phones. I tried to give this place a couple of chances but it was the same every time: nasty restroom and bad guards. This facilitys only redeeming qualities are the front desk staff and the quality of the pool. The front desk staff are nice and helpful. The pool always looks very nice. If you just go to lap swim and leave, the facility is okay but be mindful of the roaches. Otherwise, I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

2019-02-28Pros: Large (Olympic size) pool, so I am always able to get my own lane for lap swim. $3/lap swim, $2 for military. Separate shallow area for kids/rec swim so there are no worries about kids popping up in front of me while swimming laps (I tend to not pay attention when I am in the zone, so this is great). Plenty of free parking in the parking lot. Staff has always been extremely pleasant.Cons: Showers could definitely be updated and use some hot water... So dont plan on taking a decent shower after swimming.

2018-03-04Great place to Swim, Water is pretty cold but after a few laps you appreciate it. Lifeguards are ever vigilante which you dont see everywhere, had one come up and suggest I take a break bc my stroke was slowing down noticeably and it was concerning him, that shows true concern for patrons well being.... Their front desk staff is also super helpful, and understanding, for instance they dont take card for under $5 and all I had was a card and my admission was $3 and she let me in just reminding me to bring cash next time which I appreciated.
