The service is good here. I used to Patronize the same owners (husband and wife) when they owned the Chinese restaurant across the street long years ago. I was observing the other customers that was cursing at the wife and I didnt like it. But besides that, they usually give me the Service and great fried fish everytime. Ive referred some of my friends who are fish lovers to give them a try.
The woman taking the orders is very rude , rushy & customer service is her weak area...Rushing, talking all fast with a strong accent - when it was literally but two customers inside.like why are you rushing when you not cooking u only taking orders .. I told her I never been here before but she did not tell me the fish was FRY ONLY. Everybody dont eat fried foods but I gave it away & went somewhere else ...
Very clean ! I personally got good service . My Fried Shrimp , Fried Croaker and Egg Rolls were so good . Next time I will order Chinese Food . Their fresh fish looked healthy and as a former Seafood Market Owner I could tell the fresh fish is really fresh . I will recommend Augusta Seafood . I look forward to trying their Chinese food in the near future . ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The food is good and you get a good amount for your dollar. The fish is perfectly fried. Not too hard, not to soft. The rice was dry though. The wings werent as clean as what Im used to. I usually do fish and fries when I order. Its hard to get those wrong 😂😂😂. Where else can you feed 4 people for around $35 AND have leftovers?
Ive been here many times so obviously I like coming here. Even though you can buy the fish and cooked it at home, I always let them cook it for me. The prices are fairly reasonable and they have a nice selection of fish and other seafood. I think the best fish they have is the fresh water brim.
I ordere beef n broccoli combo for lunch with 2 wings and a sweet teaThe tea tasted like they made it 3 days ago, like the lemon peels rotted in the co tainer and no one bothered to clean it out.The beef and broccoli was mostly broccoli and IT WAS PURE SALT! NOT EDIBLE!The chicken wing was cut in half, they called that 2 wings. The fried rice was good.I paid $11.95 for this meal and waited 30 minutes in store for them to make it.Never again, you got me once and thats okay but it wont be twice. This was horrible food.
They cook your food to order as you would expect and they change their fry very regular cause ive never had anything dark or that burnt taste to it. Prices are fair enough and they offer combo meals of fish, shrimp, or other seafood with fries or fried rice. Overall come to this market for some great tasting food and friendly owners who do care about their business
The fish wasnt seasoned and the tea was overly sweet. The tables are clean b/c my mother pulled out the Clorox wipes and cleaned our table but the tables permanently stained. The dining room and restrooms could all use a thorough cleaning. However, my plate looked very advertising and Im sure it would have been pleasing to someone who does like their food seasoned or someone who enjoys overly sweet drinks.
The food is good..But I kept noticing that everytime I ordered fish, MY FISH had WAY TOO MANY SCALES lift ON THEM. I informed Chin, ..in one ear and out the other the request to have all the fish scales removed from my fish went..I complained with NO change from the last 2 orders of fish I purchased..So, No I dont need to keep throwing my money away nor half of the food that I buy with my money.1 star for the taste of the food.
She knows i mostly come in on Friday night after doing some overtime somewhere. But back to the market its a small store with maybe a seating of 25-30 but most of the orders are takeout. Cant review everything because i only went in for fresh whiting. It was very freshand large she also put ice in my bag because i was traveling from far. EVERYTHING was clean and nothing smelled overwhelmingly fishy. If I wanted to sit and enjoy my food their were clean tables to do so. The cashier was very friendly. Will be back for sure!
This welcoming little place is run by a Chinese family that is happy to chat and happy to serve some of the best seafood in Augusta. Its a simple place with a few formica tables whose clients mostly live close by and pick up the food to bring it home. So you can call ahead and be sure the food will be ready quickly, or if you cant wait, grab a chair and soon youll be joining a conversation with friendly folks from the neighborhood. We usually order the large shrimp peeled and battered, with the rice house specialty. But we also love the various fish that they display whole, and clean and gut for you on the spot.
You get fresh fish cooked to order. This place is a fish market and a restaurant combined in one. The place is nothing special, but you get large portions for a very reasonable price. They have shrimp and fish combos, and they cost around $12 a plate. You dont get fancy sides, but it is really good quality.

BEST SEAFOOD PLACE IN AUGUSTA!Keep in mind that this place is a fish market therefore you will come across a fish smell whenever you enter the place. All of the fresh seafood is on display for you to pick the type of fish that you want. You can take the seafood home and cook it yourself or they can cook it for you!Their chinese food is also amazing! They have been serving chinese food since 1996 at their previous chinese restaurant! All of the food is presented in to-go packaging (its a fish market). They give you PLENTY of food and its definitely worth the price!
Food was freshly cooked. Fried bream fried rice. French fries, hush puppies. Orslaw. Fried rice is ham fried rice or only onion and egg for same price. Extra if vegetable fried rice extra if want onion in place of ham. Best subtractions no add on.Female very friendly and welcoming. Male not so much. However, female she is mostly there and greets you while taking your order at the register. When completed your number is called and you pick up at the register. If you are choosing to eat in there are booths and tables with chairs. Therefore, wheelchairs can be seated here.Bathrooms can accommodate a push wheelchair not sure if electric chair would be able to turn in bathroom maybe a tight squeeze trying to maneuver. It could be done. Possibly, backing into then transfer.Appeared clear in resteraunt and bathroom. It was a cozy location. Wheelchair parking in front. Additional parking to the side and back if needed. Also, I have never noticed a fishy smell as fish appears fresh. One may choose from the fish on ice to be cooked or wrapped and taken out after purchase.Convenient location off Walton Way. Close enough but not in congested area.
This is horrible place to eat and shop for seafood. The fish is fried with flour and the fresh fish was barely iced. They had about 3 regular parking shots and are not polite and engaging with customers. I will not return to this establishment and I recommend you taking the drive the Galles or Johnnys seafood in order to avoid disappointment!

2022-05-28Ok, let me say that upon walking in you honestly probably wouldnt expect much. BUT, in my opinion, freshly fried seafood that is affordable and that you can see first hand what species of fish you are buying is an incredible thing, I only saw when I live the DC/VA/MD area. The fried fish I had was so delicious to me in that it was seasoned just right and fried without greasiness or making my food dry due to being in the oil for too long. Please give this place a shot! This will now be one of my regular places almost once a month when it comes to seafood!

2018-04-12Being a regular at Ming Wah, the owners were telling me they were opening a fish market up the street. I was uber excited, being that I love fish, and fried at that!!! So once they opened I had to experience this place. First let me say, the owners bend over backwards to accomodate your needs and explain anything that needs to be explained. Now to the food, can you say good down home southern fried fish!!!! I love fish that is fried in corn meal, it gives it more flavor to me, and the fixing are just as tasty. But they also sell chinese food as well. Being a new business they have their hand on the pulse of how a business should be ran! I see them being there for a long time to come!!!

2020-05-10Road by this place a hundred times. Going to lunch on the busy Walton Way is somewhat boring, lots of chains. This place is a great spot for lunch! Lots of choices including Chinese. Fresh fish, chicken and sides. Generous portions and reasonable prices. On my favorite list for sure . I give this place a strong recommendation.

2021-10-05Food was amazing. I had the tilapia, shrimp and ham fried rice combo, about 13$. I was so stuffed I could barely touch my rice. Fish and shrimp were both very good, and BONELESS. From what I can tell, very friendly staff. Will definitely visit more often.

2022-01-21They cook your fish while you wait. However I wish they would open their restroom to customers. They also accept EBT for those who would like to take fresh fish home and cook 🔥 it. They are very customer friendly.

2022-02-04They do not season their fish. All of their drinks in the cooler were expired. Check your expiration dates if you get a drink from there.
