The Masters experience is something not many people get to experience in their lifetime. It’s a special tradition that I love experiencing with my family every year. The workers are so amazing and helpful. The reason why I am giving it a one star is because this year was a major let down. The men attending this event were AWFUL! So rude, shouting and yelling while the golfers were teeing off. It was horrible. This is a golf tournament not a football game. Either the masters needs to get it together and stop this inappropriate behavior from its guests or suffer a new title as a trash event that is no better than Daytona 500. I was applauded by the things these men said to me at the Tournament. Shouting and complaining WHILE THE PLAYERS WERE STANDING RIGHT THERE! And the worst part was security did NOTHING! That would have never happened 3 years ago. This is the Masters, have some class. There are grown men who were acting like 7th graders that got drunk. Unbelievable!
We had a wonderful time at the Masters. It is such an iconic sporting event. I’ve been fortunate to go three times, and each visit has been incredible! It helps to go prepared in order to make the most of your experience.TIPS#1 Gluten-free options are limited to fruit, peanuts, bbq sandwich (w/GF bun) and potato chips. We were thrilled that they added the bbq sandwich this year!#2 Get there early so you get your picture made without losing much time while players are on the course. Pictures are made in front of Founders Circle (near first tee).#3 Courtesy phones are helpful (and free) if you are trying to coordinate with others as you are not allowed to bring your phone on the grounds.
Everyone knows how beautiful this place is, but seeing it in person is a special experience. Its the best run sporting event Ive ever attended. Concessions, restrooms, merchandise shops are kept immaculate despite thousands of people going through them. Lines can get long but move faster than you think due to the efficiency of the setup and the staff/cashiers. The concessions are famously reasonable compared to any other sporting event in the world, and even the merchandise is priced similar to what you would pay for other sports merchandise. Parking was free and efficient.
Finally made it to Augusta National and it was a dream come true. The topography of the course was a real eye opener. Up and down hills throughout the course. I went for the Wednesday practice round and Par 3 contest. Put it on your bucket list and get in the ticket lottery. Good luck.
Always enjoy watching the Masters. However, I was trying to hold a conversation with someone, but I couldnt understand what they were saying because they were drowned out by the FAKE BIRD SOUNDS! How many cardinals are there?? The players would be swatting them away! Ridiculous. Fakes.
Augusta National is an experience like no other! A stunningly beautiful course with immaculate conditions that puts ever other course to shame. I was there for practice round Tuesday and was lucky to have had the opportunity to follow Phil, Tiger, Freddy and Thomas around the back 9. I also hung out at the range (seated in the front row) for about 1.5 hours and got to see Tiger, Rosey, Phil, Rors, Willett, Ricky, Scotty, Duff, Berger, Grace... the list goes on and on! The sights, sounds, energy and swirling winds are magical here. Its everything youve heard and more!
Another year and another great experience at The National for the Master! Par 3 and practice round today. Course was beautiful as always and they order perfect weather! Customer service is outstanding and prices are not what you would expect on food or apparel. Drinks are $1.50-$3.00 for soda, tea or beer. Sandwiches and goodies stay under $3.00. dont forget the Peach ice cream sandwiches. (Peach ice cream between two sugar cookies for $2). You can spend a lot in the store but the prices are very reasonable. DONT BUY ANYTHING ONLINE!!! The Masters doesnt have an online store so youre getting overpriced old stuff or fakes. Id take show pictures but I didnt have a camera and NO PHONES ALLOWED, NO EXCEPTIONS! You can see the crowd gathering 30 minutes before the gates open. If you get the chance to go to The Masters, it is worth the trip to Augusta National Golf Club, or as we call it here in Augusta, The Nation!
What can I possibly say about the worlds best golf course. This place is magical and makes every golfer giddy with excitement as you walk on the hallowed grounds. Every year they make improvements to this place. Ive been fortunate to have seen six Masters tournaments and I get excited every time I get an opportunity to go. I love this golf course.
Incredibly well kept grass. Beautiful scenary. An absolute must play if you ever have the chance. Food was very reasonably priced. Beers were $4. The long line ups for the mens bathroom went extremely quickly and efficiently. They really know what they are doing here at the masters tournament. Dont pay for parking, you will find a spot in south or north parking lots for free.
This is where they play the Masters golf tournament. We were on the road to Charleston SC and Augusta Georgia was right in our path so we decided to check out this world famous golf course. ⛳. I had no idea it was right in the middle of town for I thought it would be on the outlying area. But anyway the place was completely surrounded by a wooden fence and you could not get inside or see inside. I was only looking to get a picture 📸 of the clubhouse and then leave. I was disappointed. But it still gets a 5 star review from me because I think it is one of the most beautiful golf courses in the world.
Its a tournament golf course steeped in history and tradition. If you can get in during the tournament, youll find it to be the classiest place youve ever been too. These whining one star reviews are mostly trolls and jealous folks that think its like going to the fair.
Attended several Masters Tournaments, including the historic 1997 event. Describing the property requires other worldly adjectives that pro writers have tried for over 80 years. As trite as it sounds, TV doesnt come close to the experince of being thereSeeing the hills, slopes, sugary white sand, bunkers seemingly cut by lasers, magnificent floral and fauna that spans wide spectrum (probably 1,000s of species of plants- with not a single one being a weed) is awe-inspiring. The occasional Piliated Woodpecker, Northern Cardinal or Goldfinch song amongst the towering Loblolly pines, common. The views are teriffic, and though 21st century leading edge autonomy is on display, the design is old-school. The greens (books written about the greens, and, and you still have to see them to believe them) are only 20-40 yards from the next tee areas. Some T-boxes (Teeing grounds) are exceptions, as the membership seeks to lengthen the course to get the drive to land where the hole was designed to be the approach-shot position. (#11 or maybe #13 come to mind, yet they too are blended naturally.)Southern charm and hospitality rule, without pretention or elitism. No sight of price (legal) gouging, food and souvenirs are less than you would see at virtually any tour event- which this is not. It stands alone, and in my opinion is what allows their ability to maintain the history and avoid the commercialism. One of the most beautiful places on Earth. Im blessed to have experienced the event and stroll the grounds. If you get the opportunity, do what you can to make that happen. You certainly will never forget it.
Im only 24, but had the privilege to attend the Masters twice. 1 Practice round, and second was Sunday a few years later. The strongly enforced code of conduct is incredible. Not ONE phone or camera, everyone enjoying the beautiful moment through their own eyes. Everyone is respectful and understands the significance of where they are. Food prices so cheep you can purchase 4 Drinks, 8 Sandwiches, a candy bar, and a cookie for $25. Its incredible. All in all, 10/10 experience both times and Ill never forget it. The whole operation is perfectly oiled machine. Trust me when I say that a 80 person line is only about a 3 minute wait. Its what every sporting event should strive to be.
Drove clients to the Nationals on Saturday, even with a 1 hour rain delay they had a great time. I had iced adult beverages for them when they were ready to return back to Atlanta. They got very happy while enroute to Atlanta, so happy they were hungry; changed their drop off to Hals, made reservations while we were roling..made it with 45 minutes to spare.
The place is lovely, but on Tuesday with the rain during the practice round and the fairway closed to visitors no one knew how to get around. We walked in circles for over an hour with their people telling us to this way and that. Signage was none existed and the regular signs were useless because the fairways were closed off. Im sure on a nice day Augusta National is delightful. You seem prepared for everything, but not good signage during poor weather.
What a blast! They have the masters down to a science. The lines are long but... They are always moving. The beer is cold and affordable. Food is hot when it needs to be and affordable as well. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. Parking is excellent and that area is if anything over staffed/managed but easy in easy out. We hope to come as often as we can, what a treat!
One of the nicest and well maintained course that you will ever see. Everyone I encountered was friendly and outgoing. Ive was lucky enough to get to see Tiger Woods play here although he did not win it was fun all the same. Another great feature at this tournament is that all the food and drinks are really affordable.
It’s Disney World for golf fans. The whole facility is beautiful but the most amazing thing is how well the Masters tournament is run. Everything is so well organized. My friend won tickets for the Wednesday and it was an awesome experience to see the Par 3 tourney. We were hoping we’d get lucky again for 2020 but we’re now waiting for the 2021 lottery. Just can’t say enough about how great it is.
If you get the chance, go! It is very good value, as prices are keep low, on admission, and food concessions. Souvenirs are more present day priced but for a difficult to attend event the souvenirs are sought after as lifetime treasures.Be aware the course is on very hilly terrain and will test the fitness of the mature or out of shape patrons. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Washrooms are plentiful and very clean. You may see lineups but they move fast. The entire event is a marvel in how to handle large crowds very well.
Simply amazing. Its incredible how pristine they keep the grounds. Especially with how much traffic they see at the masters. Attending this tournament was incredible. The only downside is the mens bathroom line is so much longer than the womens. It was manageable, though, and didnt hurt the experience.
We Have always enjoyed our masters tickets because of my husbands dad always volunteered scoring number 7 for many years. We put our name in for tickets, this year to the womans amateur and we were able to see them, historic first appearance past Saturday... They performed amazingly ...very proud very happy to be at the Augusta National again. Thank you
I was lucky enough to walk this historical course and to take in the last 2 rounds of the Masters, this place is very very well run, they think of every little detail, its just like it is on TV. From the home made sandwiches to the cold beer and well mannered patrons as the management would like them called at the tourney this place is a golfers heaven. I Hope I can go back on day and just play it 1 time. if you get a chance do go !
This place is what Disney would like you to think they are. Everything is manicured to as near perfection as is humanly possible. Concessions are very economical sandwiches from $1.50 to $3 beer is $5 for a large souvenir cup. Everything possible is done for the patrons. The code of conduct is strictly enforced for the benefit of all. A must for any fan of golf.
A bucket list thing to do, that is for sure! Aside from seeing the golf celebrities, Augusta National is a breathtaking venue that must be experienced to be appreciated. Seeing the course on television does not do it justice! It is a very hilly course boarded by never ending trees and gorgeous flowers. The azaleas were in full bloom while we were there! Heaven on earth! Prices in the food areas were extremely reasonable and the gift shop had so many nice things to buy without breaking the bank.
Wow! What an experience. The Masters Golf Tournament is like no other experience. Not a single weed to be found on the property (I looked all day), and the no cell phone rule makes it seem as if it were in another (better) time. People actually talked to each other! Strangers! Carrying on friendly conversation! What a concept! Great experience.
Absolutely beautiful! This year was the first time my husband and I were fortunate enough to go and were so glad we did. Very friendly and helpful staff, food and drink prices are very fair ($1.50 sandwiches, $4-$6 16oz soda/tea/beer, $2 fruit cup, nachos, etc) and the grounds are gorgeous. I recommend bringing your own Masters chairs if you have them. If not, they sell them for $30 a chair in the gift shop. Wear comfortable, broken in shoes as you will be doing a lot of walking, even if you have seats. If you miss out on the free parking, there are lots everywhere charging btwn $10-$40 for the day. Ours offered $6 shuttle service to the South entrance 1/2 mile away but we chose to walk. I wish they allowed cell phones/cameras but understand why they dont. If you have one on you at security checkpoint, theyll have you check it in with them and youre able to get it back once you leave. Apparel at the gift shop is pricey, but to be expected. I purchased a 2019 hat for $26 which I thought was priced on point. Bring an umbrella if theres a chance for rain. They do sell them for $45 if you need one. My ONLY complaint is someone stole our 2019 Masters cups that came with our drinks so dont set them down anywhere without having an eye on them. Ours were snatched within 30 seconds. Very disappointing but other than that, beautiful experience! Recommend going at least once in your life if you get the chance!
Who knew this course was uphill in all directions? Seriously, I have never seen such a well maintained course. If you get a chance to go, take it. Food prices are cheap, pro shop prices reasonable comparatively and all the staff are super friendly and helpful. (It didnt hurt the experience to be 20 feet from Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson while they played.)
I had the pleasure of walking the grounds during a Masters practice round a couple of years ago. I dont care how big or high definition your TV is, the beauty of the grounds is absolutely breath taking. The Augusta staff were all very friendly and informative. The food at the various vendor stands was good and extremely reasonably priced. As a golfer, Ive never seen a course so beautifully manicured. Even the grass where the patrons were standing and walking was in perfect condition. As to playing the course, I didnt get to do so, but could tell it is a very, very challenging course. There simply doesnt appear to be a level lie anywhere on the course away from the tee boxes.Masters merchandise is available on the grounds. The stands at the practice range are close to the golfers and afford the opportunity to watch them work. The Augusta National grounds are by far the most beautiful place Ive ever been. If you get the change, go. If you somehow get an offer to play please ask if you can bring me along.
Really bad chemical smell in the paths all around the course. Kinda made me want to gag a few times. The herbicides and petrochemical fertilizer have got to be poisoning the wildlife surrounding the place. I know I wouldnt want to live downstream! Id be very impressed if they could pull off the aesthetic without all the poisons!
I visited The Masters practice day in 2005. I must say that the spectator facilities at the tournament were amazing. The souvenir shops & snack bars were excellent and reasonably priced. All of the officials were very polite and I had the most memorable time of my life.I would love to visit the grounds again.
Was able to attend the Thursday and Friday rounds of the 2011 Masters Tournament. I had been building this place in my mind since childhood and it didnt even remotely disappoint, it surpassed all of my expectations. Truly a magical place, almost spiritual experience, cant imagine what it would be like to play the course!
Google Maps really wants me to rate Augusta National, even though I have never ever been there and have repeatedly tried to convince Google of this. I drove by it once or twice while in Augusta briefly. I would not think that qualifies me to rate it.I mean really. Id love to go! I used to golf. But that has been a very long time. Anyways, that is the best I can do. I dont expect this review to help anyone, but maybe it will get Google to stop asking me to review it!
Although the traffic was extremely heavy, we arrived in a timely manner. The bottle neck off Washington Road onto the national parking may have been avoided if the patrons were informed that you could turn onto the grounds from either lane. The staff was excellent and very helpful.
Awesome experience. Came down here with my son and friends. We enjoyed the course, the people, everything was excellent. Recommend everyone put Augusta National on their bucket list. Not so easy to get in but worth every effort to. Just walking the course is golfers heaven. Thank you to all at Augusta National.
This is the most immaculate golf course Ive ever seen! There isnt a weed on the premises and the grounds are so pristine one has to see it to believe it. Was there for a practice round for the Masters golf tournament and everyone was wonderfully kind and helpful. If you get a chance to go and are a golf fan, go!
Ive been fortunate enough to have attended The Masters in 57 different years, counting practice rounds probably 200 total visits, but I never get jaded. I was as thrilled walking in this year as I was when I was 8 in 1959 with my dad. The reviewer who complained about the exorbitant prices at the concession stands must have mistaken it with a trip to an NFL or MLB game because the food and drink at The Masters is the lowest anywhere. Someone said the clothes are pricey - think Brooks Brothers - but they are beautiful, they last for 30 - 40 years, they are fondly recognized by people around the world and this is the only place in the world where you can get them. The sad quick-to-accuse expert who bitterly complained about the smell of industrial strength fertilizer is equally confused because what they were smelling was cow manure. They dont use commercial fertilizer - never have. But a heavy rain and thousands of footprints will expose the natural stuff and it is quite fragrant - thats how they get it so green in early April. For that reason, and because you will walk a lot, and its hilly, it is a must that you wear comfortable walking shoes and boots if its rainy. Its the hardest ticket (its called a badge) there is to get in sports or anything else, so if someone ever offers you one, dont even think about turning them down. First, its an unwritten law that theyll never offer again, and when you do go you will always remember how spectacular it was.
Augusta National Golf Club is far and above the most beautiful course Ive ever seen. They have the Masters down to a science. Moving from hole to hole was a breeze, and it never felt too crowded. We were always able to see the action. It rained the day prior to our visit and they had the in-ground vacuum running to remove the moisture. The result was good playing conditions and relatively dry feet while walking the course that morning. You really get the impression no expense was spared. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience at an amazing golf course.
What else can be said about Augusta? If you ever have the opportunity to experience this course you owe it to yourself to see the pinnacle of golf. Even a casual fan of the game will be impressed by the impeccably manicured grounds and the stunning views. If you are lucky enough to be here for the Masters, the atmosphere is simply impossible to describe. Be sure to make your way to the driving range to watch the best in the world in a more casual and relaxed setting, where they show their incredible skills. Also recommended, the Berckman Place experience - If you arent familiar with this relatively new opportunity, do some research...and save your pennies; you will not be disappointed.
The National is hands down the most beautiful course that Ive ever had the honor to step foot on. Being born and raised in Augusta, Masters week truly is a tradition unlike any other. As my late golf coach taught us on the junior league, that is sacred ground that should be treated with the highest honor!
This is the most beautiful man-made place on earth. Its also the most well run and affordable (if you can get tickets directly) major sporting event in the world. Cell phones are banned, which seems harsh, but it adds to the beauty of the place since people have a chance to interact with nature and others without the distraction of a phone. Even if you despise golf, this is a bucket list place to visit just for the scenery.
Attended Monday practice round. Everyone representing Augusta was as helpful as they could be. Our first time seeing course in person. Will always cherish experiencing Augusta after viewing it on TV for 55 yrs. If youre older or have health concerns attend a practice round. Thanks Ran!
Are you kidding me? This place does not need me to review it. The only thing is really remember where you parked. Just go early with your chairs and put them where you want and then go see wherever you want and when you get back your chairs will be right where you left them. I hope you get to enjoy a trip there.
If you are lucky enough to attend1. Leave your phone in the car.2. Bring a camera(yes a real one but only on practice days)3. Eat a pimento cheese sandwich & drink a beer. Its super cheap.4. Youll need all that money you saved on food to use in the pro shop.5.Bring a poncho/umbrella.6.Wear comfortable shoes & sunscreen.Welcome to Augusta yall! Yes we do things a little slower down here. You wont be disappointed.
An absolute must for any true golf fans bucket list; TV doesnt do it justice. Plus, walking the course gives a whole other perspective to the elevation changes, undulation, and magic that is Augusta National.Food & drink are incredibly reasonably priced - $16ish for 2 beers, 2 sandwiches, and 2 snacks.Gift shop is more expensive but comparable to any typical golf store or pro shop.Ive never been anywhere handles EVERY aspect of an experience so well. Enjoy the tradition!
Wow. Another Great Season. Deluxe Inn Lodging for Business and Workforce North Augusta would like to give a great Big Thank you to the venerable Augusta National Golf Club for supporting small business such as ours by being the exclusive lodging provider for tournament volunteers, media, vendors, and patrons alike for over 30 years. An old school-throw back property with modern amenities, ideal location, with above/beyond service . Thank you Augusta National.
Bucket list checked!!! So Amazing, the Elevation changes will never be seen fully on tv, you must go experience it for yourselves. The lines moving through the gift shop are so well organized, dropping $500 or more was never so easy on momentous gifts, and clothes in my Shirt Size 4x too.
While I am not a member, the Masters Tournament is an amazing event. Traffic can get nasty on Washington Road before and after the tournament so be prepared to wait. The course is beautiful and everything about the Augusta National Golf Club is a monument to opulence.
I havent played the course but have had the privilege of attending the Masters on a regular basis. Heaven on Earth is the best way I can describe Augusta National, its so much better in person than on TV. The undulation of the greens doesnt come through as much on TV as is doesnin person. There are literally greens that have 5 feet mounds on them, its simply unreal how well this course is managed. Everything is perfect. I usually walk around and sit in grandstands on holes 1,4,5,8,12,13,14,15,16 and 17 for optimal viewing. The traditional chicken sandwich made by a local chicken restaurant called Wife Saver is my favorite but Ill also grab an egg salad, pimento cheese and club sandwich for fuel as I walk 20k+ steps during a typical day watching golf during the tournament. The prices are well documented and you can get a sandwich, chips, a cookie and a drink for maybe $6.75. This wouldnt get you a bottled water at most sporting events. I love that theyve kept this tradition. The pro shops on each side of the course are usually crowded but if you time it right, you can walk right in. You can get a key chain for $9, a hat for $24, a Tshirt for $28 and the drifit style polos range from $70-$140. Pullovers and Jackets are $85-$180 or so and they have everything from Masters playing cards, mugs and pillows to beautiful prints, signs and collectibles. Everytime I walk in I spend about $300 minimum, about $1000 every year that Ive been. Its worth it. If you ever get a chance to go, soak it in, there is a palpable feeling in the air that reminds you youre on hallowed grounds. The roars from other holes echo around the course and the hand changed, non digital scoreboards are in plenty of spots so you can keep up with whats going on with the leaders. I love that they have kept the traditional scoreboards and havent tried to keep up with the latest and greatest technology. I hope you get a chance to visit Augustas pride and joy wherher its the Womens Amateur or the Masters. Make sure to take mental snapshots since no phones are allowed. This is my favorite place on Earth.
Always enjoy experience..Its so well organized. Our daughter is a golfer, so it was nice to get to attend the ANWA championship .A well stocked pro shop, just wish there was a better selection of womens jewelry at a reasonable price.( maybe some year)Food is the best buy on the course.
Its a awesome golf club. The growth and work that theyre putting into it to make it the number 1 course is astounding. So come on down and join us for the Masters Golf Tournament and watch some of the greats battle it out for the Green Jacket and view the amazing lamdscape.
Was fortunate enough to spend the entire week during the 2016 Masters (thats right...I still use the apostrophe) to cap Watsons Masters career. Where do I start?...It goes without saying, the grounds were in phenomenal condition. The staff were as pleasant and friendly as those found at Disney. The parking was convenient and free. The concessions were beyond reasonably priced. Bought lunches that cost less than the price of a soda at an NFL game! Fresh and delicious every time.Be sure to bring comfortable shoes. The terrain is more undulated than is apparent from television. The patrons, as they are called, were also very friendly. I talked with coaches, CEOs, sports commentators and other regular folk, like me. There was no condescension directed toward me from those of wealth and power. Seems everyone is just HAPPY TO BE THERE!I am positive that, in todays society, this is the ONLY place where you wont see or hear anyone on a phone...they are not permitted. Saw a young lady and her father get booted for sneaking theirs in and using it during the par 3 tourney. They dont mess around. They will not hesitate to blackball anyone not in compliance.I was pleasantly surprised to find that cameras are allowed during the practice rounds and par 3 tourney, so dont leave your camera at home if youre there before Thursday. In summation, a once in a lifetime experience made possible by the unbelievable folks I work for. Thank you Tom and Hilary!!!
I walked 3 miles from the truckstop in hopes of finding a museum, gift shop, or perhaps even a sign that says something like Augusta National Golf Course, Home of the Masters to take a selfie. I wasnt trying to play a round of golf or get a guided tour or anything like that. All I wanted was something to show my friends and family that I was there. But all I could find was two rude security guards that treated me like pond scum. All I did was approach the guard house to ask if I could take a picture. And I was greeted with something like what do you want in a very harsh tone. One guard said I could take a picture but only from outside. So I cooperated, stepped outside, and then I waited for a car to enter and clear the view before taking the picture. But while the guard was checking the car in, the other guard yelled at me to leave. So I ended up leaving without my picture and lost dignity. I cant think of any other famous landmark thats even close to being this hostile towards visitors.
Oh My Gosh ! They Have Added Alot At The Masters And Pretty Much Took Over All The Woods That Use To Be There Before They Made It Into Parking Lots And Now They Have Tunnels Under The Road So Tourists Can Walk Into Instead Of Crossing The Road. Its So Beautiful To See Every Time I Go To Augusta
As we say here in Augusta, the Augusta National is hallowed ground. Very few get to play it. The majority of the members dont live in Augusta. Bobby Jones, one of the founders, had a very special vision when he started the club . It has surpassed everything he could possibly have imagined. Augusta is truly blessed to have the National as its home. Thanks to all who come to watch The Masters during the first full week - every April - a National Tradition.
OUT OF THIS WORLD!If one ever gets chance to walk in this beautiful park - golf course - DO NOT MISS IT! It is and will be something that you talk about for a long time. The members have developed an extremely well organized event. The parking, the food (not gourmet but very good and inexpensive), the ability to see the course from either ground level seats, standing or in the stands, allows for an unlimited number of visitors to view the event - close up! THIS BOTANICAL PARK IS LIKE NO OTHER GOLF COURSE - EXTREMELY WELL MAINTAINED AND VERY COLORFUL!Of course it may rain, thunder and lightning or be cold, but that is mother nature!DO NOT MISS THE EXPERIENCE, IT IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME WONDER!
Shockingly bad, overgrown fairways, no real rough, dog walkers on every fairway, car burnt out on 12th par 3. Naked streaker on par 5, clubhouse poorly decorated,Had to pay £15 for a snickers. Unrepaired pitch marks. And had to pay £1000 for 4 hours parking. Wouldn’t recommend to my friends or family 😩
Never been to this Golf course and was just trying to get pictures of entrance for a friend that loves golf and was harassed by security that I was on private property , which I was on public street and just turned into gate 6 entrance. No where posted is no trespassing and was told I would go to jail and local police have also been called. All I was trying to do was get a picture of sign. Then security officer told me he worked for pentagon for 20 years before this and I had a better chance getting into Whitehouse getting a picture with President of United States then getting into this golf course. Wow wow wow so this is why the world is the way it is for some overpaid security for a picture of rich people golf course. I didn’t know much about golf before but now I could care less . Karma will come back to you and the Golf course.
The whole environment is designed to provide an unforgettable experience and the CSRA is blessed to have the Augusta National as its crown jewel. If youre lucky enough to get on those hallowed grounds, enjoy the beauty, stock up on souvenirs, but by all means- grab some egg salad sandwiches on the way out!
I am moving into my new home Roda. I would be honored to host a Junior Golfer a free place to stay. I will provide food, shelter, warmth, friendly, God Linda WomensI also enjoy golf. Ive had the pleasure of attending The Masters. I worked with Holiday In Inn in the 70s * was given passes 2xs for Thursdays Round. Best day to get I think. Thank You for the many great moments of Golf Ive seen.
Augusta National Golf Club is home to a championship golf course that ranks with the worlds very best. Of the lucky few who have played here, many would say IT IS the worlds best. Only the Old Course, St Andrews and Pebble Beach can boast the household name status that is enjoyed by Augusta National.
People have HEART ATTACKS at the Augusta National ALL the time!!! THEY DONT CARE!!! The food sucks!! Its homeless food. You cant bring your own food and they charge outrageous prices. The servers are SLOW. They are mental outpatients on exterior field trips. The bathrooms smell like you know what. Just watch on t.v. but DONT GO THERE!!!
Rang from Ireland to enquire if there was a visitors centre or visitor hours as we are planning a trip to Agusta 13-15th April, and was met with a very stern rude woman who literally answered as so NO, we do not let lay people in unless they hold status or tickets. Now Im sorry but that is just rudeness and if it is the case that is their right but there is no NEED or RIGHT to give bad customer service. I was hoping to provide my father an exciting chance of visiting a course he has only seen via screens for years but we do not need to be met with such hostile attitude.
I sincerely appreciate all of the efforts of Augusta National Golf Club to keep the cost of tickets, food, beverages, and promotional products fairly priced. But, I cannot understand the mean spirited attitude they have about not allowing the entire Masters Tournament to be televised. CBS would be willing to show 12 hours each round if they were permitted, but Augusta National wants the TV time exclusive. I believe this policy is not fair to the rest of the players, their fans, friends, and family at home who have no opportunity to see their favorites play. Come on Augusta National Masters Committee, do what is right and fair. Please extend the TV coverage for all of the players and viewing public. I have been waiting for 14 years for my name to be drawn from the Masters ticket lottery and there are millions of others like me. The least you could do is let us see more of the most coveted golf event in the country. Thank you for taking the time to listen to my comment.
The TV coverage of this years event is very disappointing. When I tune in to Live from the Masters I expect to see live play not some boring talking heads. There is little interest in watching the recorded play after you have given my the results of todays game. Who ever came up with this format should be retired as he certainly does not measure up to my impression of Augusta National.
This is in response to one of the reviews that was submitted concerning the penalty assessed to Tiger. Had that been a lesser know player on the tour, do you think the same penalty would have applied. This issue was also discussed on radio and I think the shows host sumed it up best when he said, Money talks.

2022-04-05The views you see on TV and also the photos (mine and others here) dont do it justice. The course is unbelievable. I was not there to play (as is the case with most of the world) but it was clear that the grounds are immaculate. Fairways are in perfect shape, traps look very challenging, greens are like glass. Going there is an experience that anyone who has even the slightest interest in golf should take advantage of whether you are playing or as a spectator.

2022-04-09Five stars are not high enough... You hear about the amazing experience seeing this course for the first time in person... 100% true. What you dont always hear about is how amazing EVERY single worker is at Augusta. Wow. From entry at 7 a.m. to close at 6 p.m., every single employee seemed like they truly loved their job. Members of the club walked and talked with guests as if they were family. It was disney world for adults without long lines or stressful moments. It was a slice of heaven on earth. If Im ever lucky enough to go again, I would without any hesitation... the only difference is my 5 year old would be my plus one as she missed her daddy all weekend. As she cheered on golfers from the TV, Im confident shes ready for the real, in person experience.

2022-04-12La crème de la crème. Went to the masters with my dad and brother. We only had tickets to Wednesday’s practice round but it was amazing and I will definitely go back whenever invited. We flew clear across the country for just the one day and it still didn’t disappoint. All the stars, the legends, par 3 course and of course the course itself.Pro tips: bring a nice camera for the practice rounds because you can’t take phones. Personally was disappointed in the pimento cheese sandwich but you can’t beat the prices.$1.50 🥪$2.00 🥤$5.00 🍺Make time for merch as I didn’t get a chance to buy any and bring an umbrella as the weather can turn nasty really quickly. What an amazing course. Will never look at it the same on TV now. So happy to knock it off the bucket list.

2022-04-09Spent Friday at the Masters tournament. Every single staff member I came in contact with was pleasantly helpful. The course was in spectacular shape. The best Ive ever seen. I didnt have any issues getting into or out of the parking lot. Everything went extremely smoothly with no issues to note.

2022-04-12Lucky me, won lottery for Women’s Amateur National Championship. What an experience, fairways and greens were absolutely prime. The experience was the best organized event I have ever attended.
