Beautiful setup at the boundary of South Carolina and Georgia, about a mile long nicely developed riverwalk (Savannah river) for walk- jog-bike- dog walk.. with a small theater next to the Marriott. Good food options nearby. No rain shelter !
Took my family sightseeing and they enjoyed it. You also can kayak and jet ski there. They really enjoyed themselves.
Absolutely gorgeous. I definitely recommend stopping here if you are in Augusta. A nice spot to relax and unwind.
I really enjoy coming here especially in the morning there is not much people in the Bottom area where the lake is at. I bring my dog here to walk and he loves it! I appreciate there is a walking ramps on both end of the park. Because my pup cant really go up or down the stairs. There is a lot of area to sit at so thats a plus too. I have not found a spot yet where to park but I would definitely
Very nice park overlooking the Savannah River 👌. Lots of picnic tables, walking paths, close to Downtown Augusta GA. The highway to the Riverwalk comes right off I-20 when you get to Georgia from the South Carolina border. Nice place to walk and take in some beautiful scenery 👌 😍 😊. If you are in the area visiting please by all means go check this out.
Very cute area! I wish it wasnt so hot and humid so we could walk the whole thing, but I can totally picture this place as the perfect go to spot for a walk after date night or simply an outing with family/friends. Beautiful views on the houses by the river as well. Worth a stop.
Beautiful riverfront hiking trail featuring a number of historic sites, notably a memorial to the first law enforcement officer killed in the line of duty in 1793.
Good area but the stale water was an eyesore, smelled bad and had lots of mosquitoes. Cleaning up sludge will go a long way
I enjoyed this place, the loop is supposed to be about 3 miles but thats accounting going up and down the stairs. The views were good and it is quite relaxing! At every corner, there is a bit history for you to read and engage with through the walkway.

I was there for the Masters week, transporting clients from Atlanta to Augusta, GA and vice versa!
The riverwalk has always been nice but this particular trip was at night and there are just enough lights not working to make a couple of security nightmare spots the lighting needs to be repaired and maybe a couple of public access restrooms would make this a much better experience its just too far to walk and expect people to hold it all the way from one end to the other and back
A great relaxing place. I go to Forget everything else.
This was just okay. It was quite short, not easily accessible for handicapped due to many paths requiring stairs. It was shorter than we anticipated, and many amenities such as fountains were under repair or just not in use. Walking this path took about 15 minutes each way.
Whether you want to go for a stroll or a picnic or just enjoy the scene I recommend Riverwalk as an awesome place for this. some peace and quality time with your loved ones

Refreshing, Fun, Honestly a good place for hanging out or working out and I li coming here in my free time when I want to go out. Have been going here since I was a little kid (they have a park) and have continued into my teenage hood :))
One of my favorite spots to relax and clear my mind. The playground for the kids is nice, once they stop talking about the smell of the river, which isnt that bad.
It was really beautiful about 3 years ago. Went this past week and I was kind of disappointed. The pocket garden looked vandalized and it was clear little maintenance is being done to keep the area clean and fresh. The river was noticeably polluted too. :(
It was beautiful and clean, but no attractions. It was boring but my dad wanted to go since we were out for his birthday.

Beautiful, calm waters reflect the amazing mansions on the other side of the river while walking along the tree shaded path. Small monuments and signs along the way tell the history of this sweet town.

I go because I enjoy the serenity of the Savannah River and the historical markers and stories as you walk along. My kids love seeing the wildlife by the river as well as the small playground by the marina. Its a nice, relaxing, free thing to do in Augusta and we go as often as we can.
Absolutely peaceful and beautiful. Enjoyed a nice little walk and the walkways definitely extended quite a way. Great spots to grab food along the way.

I have always loved the river walk. Upon returning to the city. I brought my son to experience it. He loved the water fountains, the trails, and we even spotted a turtle and an alligator. Fun and adventure every time - and easily enjoyed with family!
The Riverwalk is really pretty have nice views and a lot of history you can go close to the river or on the up part two different ways to walk around and enjoy the views if have the time come and walk, run or can go on bicycle around also can visit all the different places to eat that are close too well have fun and enjoy.
Highly recommend. Stunning views! Playground, history, the marina and market are all a BONUS! A wonderful afternoon and cherished meeting Nosy Rosy the River Dog. A highlight of our trip.
Great place to walk the dogs or hang with the family. Beautiful. Just ashame that there is so much garbage floating in the river. Please clean up after yourselves. The planet depends on it

Beautiful ... well maintained. Friendly folks all along our way. The weather is great. Wish we could have taken the riverboat cruise, but the captain was busy. Augusta is much larger than it appears.

This place is breathtaking it’s something out of a small town movie. I love the views here and how quiet it is. I love to walk around here and just explore.
A quiet river setting, not many visitors the day I went. The river seems clean with Turtles near the shore and there is a small playground for younger children and seating for passing the time.
Beautiful Scenic area. There was a Farmers Market during my visit. A variety of good food, music and shopping at the farmers market.

Ive been visiting the Augusta Riverwalk since childhood. One of the best experiences is the Savannah River boatride. The views are serine and the history is rich.

Pleasant and well maintained river walk with cute spots to sit and take pictures. It was raining a little when we were here but it still didnt affect our visit in any way.
It was such a beautiful walk. Lots to see and so peaceful. Has potential for picnics too. There is a playground down the walk as well we met a lot of good friends today. Next time we will bring our scooters.

Seems the town is not what it once was. I liked the monuments. Japanese garden looked very sad, i was looking forward to seeing it.

Beautiful walk. I preferred the lower level because it caught a slight breeze coming off the river and the shade helped keep it much cooler.
Always a lovely place to visit if you like to sit beside the still waters and enjoy a cool breeze and sunshine along with live bands from time to time.

Use the parking garage across from the Marriott. Very reasonable and centrally located between the river and all the good shops and eats on Broad.

Beautiful, quiet, riverfront playground and boardwalk. If you get there at the right time (1:45pm being one of them) youll get to see a train go across the bridge slowly! Its nice and shady in the heat of summer and the cool air circulating from the waterfront makes this area especially good when the heat is overwhelming. I live taking my kids down here or going for a stroll after an afternoon date.

This is a great place to walk and hang out beside the river. Small parking space or you can park along designated places along the blocks. Plenty of places to eat nearby.

Free Public parking is not readily available. No signage. Needs lots of maintenance. Beautiful setting.

2021-12-28Beautiful area to walk in with family. Not very long though, so dont expect a trek. Its more of a short, relaxing walk than anything else. Still, getting to see the river, the amphitheater, and some of the historical and informational tidbits scattered throughout was very enjoyable :)

Very clean and accessible. We fell in love with this RiverWalk! And the other side of the river South Carolina, its pretty amazing!

2021-11-02A well planned riverwalk full of natural beauty. A great place to go for a morning coffee sit on a bench and watch the river or evening post dinner stroll. It’s a perfect place to promenade.
