The service was friendly and attentive. The whole place did not have cappuccino or latte since their Starbucks store was closed, but the manager tried really hard to find some. Good southern hospitality! The food was highly disappointing. We came for the Thanksgiving brunch. The seafood they served us still needed to be thawed. Im talking about ice in the crab claws and shrimp. The mash potatoes were dry (not sure how that happens). The prime rib was way undercooked, even for a crowd that likes medium rare. The Mac and cheese was solid and they had a good assortment of desserts.Extra star for the service and that its Thanksgiving. I came here in 2021.
We always eat here for our Anniversary! We are never disappointed. The food is spectacular and the service is amazing. Everyone is so nice and they make you feel right at home. My husband and I left dinner and came back the next morning for breakfast. It was perfect! This place will always remain our special Anniversary spot and we look forward to celebrating here for many years to come.
The one night we get with out the kids a year for our anniversary was a mess. The drinks were amazing I will say that but our overall entree experience was not good. I had the scallops augestenos which had almost zero flavor is had to add a TON of salt just to get any kind of flavor to it and the scallops were very rubbery. My husband ordered the sirloin medium rare and fries we had to send it back because it came out well done the first time and the fries were definitely not fresh then we get it a second time after waiting another 30 min and it was medium and had zero flavor but he had fresh fries so theres that. At that point my husband was so angry he just wanted to leave. We paid full price for the steak at $34 that he cant even eat but were given a $9 dessert that i could have made for $3 easy. For as much as we paid I was expecting so much more.
Came year as it was a recommendation from campus visiting center. I was surprised that it was part of the Marriott hotel. The restaurans dining room was full and they were not receiving walk-ins and we had to wait for a table in the bar.I was hopeful that maybe it would be a good Italian eatery. I get easily disappointed when it comes to Italian food. I say this due to my families cooking & spending time with family in Italia. You learn whats good very quickly. The food was okay, nothing to get excited about. I give them kudos for cooking the calamari just right and the aioli was an interesting twist. My wife got the soup of the day...cream of chicken with wild rice & the meatball. She said soup was okay but nothing to write home about and she enjoyed the half pound meatball. She let me taste it, thought the meatball could use more flavor bite. It was simple but again kudos to cooking it right. My daughter got the spaghetti with seafood. She enjoyed and said it was good. I didnt try her dish so cant comment on it. I ordered the baked shell stuffed chicken with 3 cheese sauce. Again all was cooked right but no flavor. The chicken was bland and dont know what cheese they used but no flavor either. So for flavorless dining at a $$$ price go for it. It got 3 stars because they didnt over or under cook the food.
Calamari was obviously frozen and not served with the usual marinara, it came with what seemed to be a spicy ketchup. The saltimbocca I ordered was the oddest dish ever. No sage, the prosciutto wasnt wrapped around the chicken as expected, and the sauce seemed to be canned. It looked more like something that would be served with a frozen Banquet Salisbury steak meal. Was it the worst thing Ive ever eaten? Nope, but it certainly wasnt anywhere close to a traditional saltimbocca. In all fairness the folks I was dining with all seemed to enjoy their meals. Service was great!
The pasta bar is the best in town and the only reason to come here. Its fairly priced for what you get, and you get many options and can make it however you like. They have ingredients such as chicken, sausage, meatballs, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, broccoli, pastas, pesto, garlic and other great stuff. The price could be lower but its fair especially for what you get. 15 bucks will get you a filling and good meal. Ive come several times in the past and Ive never had a bad meal, mostly because I decide what I want in it.
Decent food - AMAZING staff (ask for Camron as a waitress)We ate there twice for breakfast and once for lunch during a two-day conference this week. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Two out of those three times, we were served by Camron who literally pampered us. She was a local with a Southern charm and a bubbly personality that was very refreshing. She gave us good tips on the best things to order on the menu and made sure we were attended to at all times. One particular thing I liked about this place is that you get to either order a la carte from their menu or pay a fixed price for a breakfast or lunch buffet. The lunch buffet was a pasta bar. You get to start your own pasta dish literal from scratch. The protein selection includes chicken, shrimp, meatballs or Italian sausage that you can mix with pesto, asparagus, sun-dried tomatoes and more before topping it off with a sauce of your choice (Alfredo, marinara etc). For $13, this buffet also includes a salad bar and their soup of the day. I think the value there is unbeatable.Overall, although I think the food could have been somehow tastier overall, the staff showed us such a good time every time we ate there that we kept coming back. Truly recommended !
I went for breakfast on a Saturday morning around 830. Not too many other customers there, but the ambiance was lovely, my server, Sarah, was fantastic, and the food was very yummy! Coffee was good and strong, and the kitchen accommodated my request for a non-traditional Eggs Benedict. The hash browns were perfectly salty and super crunchy. Everything was clean, organized, and the chairs were comfy! Couldnt have asked for a better breakfast.
My wife and I treat each other every year for our bday and the food is pretty good but my last birthday which was Yesterday and ny wife made reservations and a special table for me but they didnt give us the right table so we are st the bar.. definitely know what to do next time.. maybe try another place
This place is located inside the Marriot. It is has a really nice ambiance, plenty of seating, and the bar area has TVs available for viewing. The dessert here is amazing. The menu however is lacking in flavor and selection. I ordered a medium delmonico steak with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus as an additional side because they only give you one side with your meal. The bread offered at the table was really good with the local olive oil. The food didnt have much if any seasoning and lacked presentation to be such an expensive and upscale establishment. I added butter, salt, and pepper to the dish. The peach pound cake with peach ice cream topped with whipcream was really really good. Price margin should be adjusted for the small amount of food provided and lack of flavor.
First time there. Food and steaks are a little pricey for the cut of meat they serve. Other than that. Everything my wife and I had was better than ok. Server Kaley was very good. Prompt and attentive. Over all dining experience was good. Will visit again. Jeff Fairley
Our family Christmas party of 11 arrived on time for our 1pm reservation. Our server was satisfactory and the food and drinks were good. By 2:00 PM, the restaurant began flicking lights on/off and we took the hint to finish up and leave. Staff were whispering to each other and it was obvious they were waiting for us to leave. I dont recall seeing a time for when the dining room closed but the environment was unprofessional and we will not return.
The best lunch time pasta you can find in augusta. Make sure you are there right at 12pm because the restaurant becomes busy with people coming in just for the pasta bar. If it is your first time be sure to have your parking validated as soon as you walk in the door. If not you will become engrossed in your pasta and will forget about needing you card validated. Great place with wonderful people. Also ideal for a evening date night.
We visited Augustino’s for the first time this weekend. We made reservations for our family easily and did not have to wait to be seated. Parking is plentiful and free in the hotel lot with a restaurant validation. Make sure to give your server your parking ticket before leaving. We had a very gracious, friendly, and professional waitress, named Rachel, who made our dining experience truly lovely. She recommended several items and I can honestly say, I have never eaten such delicious food at a hotel restaurant!!!! The Shrimp and Grits, Sear Scallops and Pesto Gnocchi, the Ribeye Steak and Chopped Salad, and the Spinach and Mushroom Ravioli were impeccably prepared and beautifully presented. Everything single thing ordered, including the Grilled Peach Poundcake, was superb!!! Highly recommend and we will be back again. Thank you to the Chefs and to Rachel for making our dinner so exceptional!
Up-scale look, Waffle-House-quality experience.1. Didnt have a menu item that we specifically chose this restaurant for.2. Took a very long time to receive food after ordering, despite our party being one of about 2-5 parties in the whole restaurant at the time.3. Ordered a steak medium-rare, received a well-done steak. But at that point, I was too hungry to send it back.4. Server spilled a drink in one of our party (Accidents happen. None of us were particularly upset about it. I only mention it because it seemed to add to the rather disappointing visit). Some good points:1. Although my steak was not made as I ordered, to their credit, it was a rather tasty well-done steak. If I HAD ordered a well-done steak, Id probably be quite pleased.2. Their prices were quite reasonable. While I didnt have a great experience overall, I didnt feel swindled or robbed by having it combined with high pricing.Overall, I probably will not return. Ive had FAR worse experiences at many other places, however, I can also find much better places to patronize as well.
Maaaan look...they know how to treat their patrons right! Soon as I walked in,they recongized me before I formally introduced myself to the staff. Ms. Sara, the restaurants concierge, seated my girlfriend and I to a private seating section to celebrate our anniversary. Beyond the red carpet treatment, the food was amazing. Great portion sizes that match up with the prices and a nice secret dessert menu if youre interested😉13/10 would recommend again/for the first time!
Had dinner here tonight. It was fantastic. Watched the manager scurry around making sure everyone’s dinner experience was awesome. I ate at the bar and had a good view into the kitchen where the chef did an awesome job preparing my food - which was perfect. Spendy but worth every penny. I left feeling fantastic.
We hadn’t eaten at Augustino’s in many years, but what a great experience. 5-stars from the hostess, to the servers, the ambiance, and especially the food. We ordered mussels, then salads, salmon with asparagus, and lasagna which was enough for two people. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Thumbs up to manager Andrew Truslove, who was making sure everything was perfect for everyone. We will definitely be back!
A great restaurant with bar inside the Marriott. The good thing about it is locals can eat here and use the front entrance parking lot and get their parking ticket validate by the server for free parking! The food and wine selection is pretty simple, but the quality is excellent! The servers will get to know you by name if you go there more than once, which is really nice to add to this fine dining experience. There are small and large tables for any size group and the bar is offset enough that it isnt a bother if youre trying to have a quiet evening without distractions. I highly recommend this for a dinner out. Expect a meal for two with appetizers and drinks to cost between 90 to $110.
We had dinner and it was perfect all around. Manager came by and spoke to us for a moment and waitress was very attentive. I had flowers delivered to the restaurant for my wife and after sitting down for 2 or 3 minutes, they came by the table and delivered the flowers to her. What a great place to have dinner, relax and enjoy conversation.
I wanted a good steak, so I figured I would try Augustinos. Unfortunately, I dont think Ill be back. Upon arrival, the hostess immediately chuckled as I was dressed in fairly casual attire, and I look kind of young for my age. When she realized I was going to be a paying customer, she apologized multiple times, but the damage was done. I decided to give the food a shot, and order a medium rare filet, my favorite cut. The steak came out, and there was no pink to be found, and it was underwhelmingly bland. All in all, I found the entire experience to be uncomfortable and dissatisfying.
We had a great time here, I reserved a party of 6 but 12 people actual showed and they still allowed us to eat. The food was good if you knew what to order, if your aren’t familiar or don’t have a broad pallet, I say stick to foods you’ve eaten before, LOL. I gave 4 stars because it was very pricey for food served and menu was small, not much to choose from. 12 people and the bill was 906.00
First let me say the food here is not the problem. It’s pretty good. The place is even clean! However, the wait for food is 1 hour+ after eating here 3 times at different times now. The staff isn’t exactly rude but they are clueless on how to seat you, take an order, check on things... It’s unorganized , awful service & unreasonable wait times. Delivery is definitely my option from now on. It’s a shame.
Usually I never mention where we eat andI never post. We have always been disappointed in our food. We always say we should have stayed home instead of blowing $100 for the 2 of us to eat. Well tonight we bothfinally had an incredible meal at the Marriott in Augusta. We ateat Augustino’s. We had the lasagne and chicken parmesan, they were very reasonable, $18 each. The only thing we were disappointed in, they didn’t have espresso, they couldn’t get the pods they needed. We can understand that, we own a restaurant and we all have problems getting food from our suppliers. All we can say is thank you, Augustin’s, you have made us both very happy.
The atmosphere is elegant and frankly perfect for a date night. The food was outstanding too. My friend ate the filet while I enjoyed the salmon. Both were cooked perfectly and had a wonderful flavor. The sides (mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables) complimented the dish very well. The only down side is the cost. Each dish is pricey plus approximately $12-15 per glass of wine/beer making Augustinos a special occasion restaurant versus a weekly dinner out with family. But dont let the cost scare you away - it is well worth the expense for a special evening out. Enjoy....
Normally love Augustinos.....worked at the Marriott for years years ago and still know a lot of people who work there. Last Sunday, my friend and I ate there and our waitress, Jessica, was horrible. And I’m not that picky. Real rude, we had to ask manager to bring our bread after sitting for 30 minutes. Just not a good server. We expressed this to management and explained why we didn’t tip her well.A couple of day’s later I am looking over my bank account and notice that my bill there is exactly 10 higher than what I signed off on. I called and spoke to Chelsea, manager, and they refunded my money but stated that I wrote in that amount and my signature is on the receipt. I told them that I signed the receipt but someone clearly added a one in front of the tip amount and changed the 2 to a 3 for the final bill. Obviously, because why would I call questioning it if I wrote that amount in myself? She then let me speak to Rob, the overall manager for Augustinos and he was extremely rude when I told him that my bill was manipulated. He said the ink matches and we keep a good eye on this stuff lady! As if no one can add a 1 and change a 2 to a 3 after the receipts been signed. None the less, when my concerns where brought to his attention he dismissed me completely. I say all of this to say.....be careful dining there! They employ theives, one named Jessica. And when brought to their attention, they tried to make me feel as if I don’t know what I did with my own money! We are taking about 25 dollars people that she added a ten dollar tip to to make 35......it’s about principal and the fact that it’s right out stealing! I could care less about the money.....but don’t steal from me and then tell me I’m lying. Why??? Extremely disappointed and disrespected!Choose another spot!!!Whew!!!
My sister and I were in town for our nephews wedding. We came from Wisconsin and found Augustinos in one of the magazines in our hotel. Fabulous food, atmosphere and most of all our waiter Jonathan. He was right on in every way. Personality, professional, attentive and friendly. He took our order (there were 5 of us) and made suggestions for appetizers and main course. Service was exceptional and fast. Atmosphere was casual. I would recommend this establishment in a minute and my other sister who lives in Georgia will be recommending it to her friends.
We went for a breakfast meeting and the food was delicious. We had a variety of things but the pancakes were my favorite. Rhonda was very pleasant and did a wonderful job of taking care of our group. Definitely will be back for the breakfast buffet and the pasta bar! 😋
The service was extremely slow, even after we told the waiter and bartender that we had a theater time. We were there in plenty of time but they were not efficient and our waiter was off talking to people left and right. I asked for things several times (like more bread) and it took repeated times to keep asking to get something. You cant bring 6 pieces of bread to a table of 6 (at an Italian restaurant) and expect that to be enough. Drinks took forever to get. My appetizer was way too salty and overdone. The grits and shrimp and lasagna were very good. We will not be back.
Great bar with a good selection of wines and bourbons. Good beer on tap and bar tender who knows what hes doing. Awesome calamari and filet...pretty good dessert menu A little pricey but its a nice place so that can be expected. Id eat there again if I came back to town. The convenience of a good hotel restaurant is hard to beat.
Excellent service and food. Well presented. Lovely clean space. We hosted a party of 16 with wine and appetizers and delicious meals. For an amazing good price. Well worth the moderate price. The staff arrangements were excellent and easy even though we live outbof state. We would definitely go back.
Overpriced. Food wasnt impressive. With appetizers averaging $18 and entrees averaging $35, youd think the food would blow you away. This food was more like a gentle breeze. And if the food isnt that tasty, then you would at least expect it to be a hearty serving so you dont leave hungry. Nope. Tiny servings. If this place is going to pretend to be a high end restaurant, then it should at least check one box.
FOOD WAS FANTASTIC AND MADE TO ORDER! THE CHEF WAS SO HELPFUL AND HELPED ME FORMULATE ONE OF THE BEST PASTA DISHES EVER (Angel hair, sliced baby tomatoes, pesto, bell peppers, mushrooms, ALL BROUGHT TOGETHER WITH AN ALFREDO SAUCE...phenomenal! Never wouldve come up with that combo!I dont cook, so its a good thing they have a great chef! My Boss and I asked for a discontinued salad. CLEARLY I couldve recreated th ed salad from the salad bar, staff thought the kitchen would do it no problem. Staff was friendly but clearly not knowledgeable.Manager was not as friendly. He personally came to let us know they did NOT accommodate custom orders! In PART this policy was implemented due to the high demand for that particular entree.FOOD = 10COOK = 10Staff = 6 (and thats pretty generous!)MANAGEMENT = 2 (and thats VERY GENEROUS ANDVONLY BECAUSE HE CAME HIMSELF TO INFORM US)BTW: paper straws so environmentally conscious, but NOT USER FRIENDLY!
A hit or miss experience. Last year our steak meal was great and the pizza was great, this year we had to send our pork chops back because the pork was raw. The risotto they used smelled funky/sour - like dirty feet. They ran out of vegetables and mashed potatoes. The food is exceptionally overpriced unless you order a special. The kids liked their chicken fingers and cheeseburger sliders. The kids meals were spot on. The wait was unacceptable. We waited over two hours for a semi correct plate of food after we were seated. They didnt even offer to knock anything off of the price. The wait staff was very nice, however.
Terrible server. Not at all attentive. Manager no better Food had to go back twice. Next table had same experience. Good breakfast buffet and hotel itself magnificent. Would never have dinner here again. Also, poor selection of dishes. A self described Italian eatery with only 2 pasta dishes! Dont waste your money on dinner here!
A wonderful upscale restaurant nestled in the first floor of the marriot hotel. We come here often for the lunch time pasta bar which is always amazing. You can get the pasta with whatever you want on it and its cooked to order. The staff is always friendly and very attentive. Highly recommend not only to the traveler staying at the beautiful marriot hotel but also to the local who likes good food. When youre done make sure you take a nice walk out on the riverfront.
Service was terrible, and price of food for what you get was absolute robbery! Every bit of an order for 8 people was wrong. for what is supposed to be an upscale restaurant it was by far the lowest quality for money I have ever had, they eve. Screwed up mac and cheese for the kids. Save your money, go somewhere else. I suggest Boll Weivel, awesome food and atmosphere, even better desert!
Excellent breakfast, freshly cooked, homemade hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict. Best pot of English breakfast tea Ive had in Nelson, Friendly service, highly recommend you try it, youll not be disappointedAwesome - both the food and service. Very easy to have a working brunch here, plenty of room and very friendly people.
We normally come for brunch once when were in Augusta. Service is good. Atmosphere is pleasant with dark woods and comfortable seats. The breakfast bar has made-to-order omelets and waffles. Also set with fresh fruit, selection of breakfast dishes, and a bagel bar with salmon and capers. They do serve other meals which are good, but we generally come for lunch to the pasta bar and in the evening for dessert only.
My husband took me to Augustinos last night and we had a fantastic time. The food came out quickly, our waitress was excellent and checked on us regularly. I had the Florentine pasta and added grilled chicken to it and it was the best pasta Ive ever eaten! Very generous portions. This morning we had the breakfast buffet, since we stayed at the hotel, and it was just fantastic.I highly recommend it. Please disregard food snobs and trolls...Augustinos is the best place to eat in Augusta, GA.
Our server JJ was great but my first order was the spicy sausage and chincken. The padtasta was stuck together and tasted doughy so i sent it back and decided on the Salmon instead. It was supposed to be medium well but about half way through it was was raw. So i just asked for for the meal to come off of my check. When the waitress brought the check my meal was not on there buuuut a member of my family suggested i should get on of my drinks free since i really didnt get to eat. The waitress took the check back and the manager took off one of my drinks but added a 12 dollar service charge. The manager never even came to the table to talk to me.
1st time there. Scenary, service, & atmosphere was relaxing & beautiful. Prompt service, Server Eric was great; he was knowledgeable about food choices & was prompt with drinks & bread. The Pan-seared Salmon, Steamed Asparagus with Lemon on the side was cooked to my perfection. Prices were moderate. Thumbs up to Augustinos!
I stayed at the Marriott for 7 days while my husband was in the hospital, while there I ate 2 meals a day at Augustinos and every single meal I had was delicious. It made a difficult stay as enjoyable as it could have been.Plus, your wait staff is polite and and attentive.Thank you!
The manager and waiter was good. Their brunch could was some improvement. At times there was no at the bar to cook omelets and people was just standing waiting long periods of time. The cook got confused on what he was cooking at times. The food was cold mostly cold majority of the time.
This was great food and the bus boy was fabulous but our waitress was the rudest person we all have ever had. Het name Juntine Klein. Spelling may be wrong but so was her attitude from the minute we sat down. We were a group of just 8 and therefore she got a 20% tip but deserved a much lower one. She was angry for what ever reason and took it out on everyone of us without just cause. The gentleman asked her to take our picture and her response was, Im not a photographer, ask the boy. She never came to our table unless we went to find her for something and it was dead inside with us being the only ones in the dining room. We will NEVER go back here as we were treated so badly and spent a lot of money to be treated so poorly. McDonalds treats customers better. Poor service to the max. Get rid of her if you want to keep your paying customers. PERIOD.
NOT wheelchair friendly. Restaurant is multi-level, access by steps (buffet downstairs). Via wheelchair special entrance from outside to sit in upper floor. Tea fills were slow. Food is good, but menu offers small selection. And very expensive; Expect to spend about $20 per person.
First time here. Had dinner with the wife elsewhere last night. Had breakfast with her here this morning. Our server Davina was awesome. OMG!!!!. CARRERA made me the best omelette ever had. And it was made with egg whites. Wish I would have had dinner here instead last night. Next time I will. Augustas best kept secret. But dont let the cost scare you away - it is well worth the expense for a special evening out. Enjoy....
I wanted to treat my wife to a special date lunch and Augustinos was just the ticket. Augustinos is in the Marriott hotel and is a fine choice even if youre not staying there. My wife and I live in the local area.We were greeted by a very friendly hostess who turned out to be the manager and we we able to just walk in for lunch without a reservation. The atmosphere was classy.Out watresss name was Rhonda and she was absolutely amazing. She readily answered all our questions honestly amd even got us a sample of the broccoli cheese soup (very tasty) to try. We both got the soup as an appetizer (the soup is seasonal and subject to change). I ordered the lasagna which was pretty good and my wife order the Italian shrimp and grits. Now about the shrimp and grits; its not your southern grits which is what my wife was expecting and unfortunately didnt care for them. It was mostly just this version of grits she didnt like because the sauce is oil based. Miss Rhonda was very understanding and brought the menu back out for a switch. My wife then ordered a chicken wrap that she very much enjoyed. It had a nice crispy-ness to it.Now why four stars? It wasnt for the grits, after all thats just a matter of taste. The lunch menu was fairly small and while I understand lunch portions are typically smaller I feel as though the menu could do for some expanding.Bottom line, definitely check this place out. Its not the best Italian restaurant in the area, but the food is quite good and reasonably priced.
The breakfast buffet is why we go here. It is the Augusta location for Mothers Day brunch because it is fancier, clean and set-up for large parties- Which is harder to find in Augusta. Kids up to 5 eat free when an adult gets the buffet. The guy that makes the omelets is just the nicest and the menu items are good too.
AN UPDATE:Even after contacting them directly and posting this review, I have not gotten a single phone call or email in reference to this in order to clear anything up or make it right. The waitress we had was sub par at best. She did not know exactly what was in the nightly specials, how much they were, how many scallops the special included, what kind of whiskey they had, what was in a peach bellini, or what kind of meats and cheeses were on the charcuterie plate. She dropped off the plate at our table and said, here are some meats and cheeses, then when I asked if she could elaborate and tell us what we had, told us there was (and I quote) a cheddar cheese, a cows milk cheese, some cured pork and cured beef, and a sort of salami and a pepperoni, and here is a honey comb. It was a laughable joke all night. The food wasnt bad though. I got the pistachio crusted scallops, which I kept trying to find some pistachios in. The risotto underneath didnt seem to be cooked all the way either. It was still a little crunchy in the middle of each grain. We also ordered a pasta plate that came out in a skillet covered in cheese. It was basically a cheese dip with a couple shrimp mixed in. I was pretty disappointed in the entire experience and will probably not be back.
Avoid Augustinos. I ordered steak and mashed potatoes. Both were unbelievably salty. The mashed potatoes were inedible. My companions chicken parmesan had an overwhelming herb flavor and the chicken was bland. The food was disappointing all round. Service was acceptable. The house merlot and a martini were the only pleasant item served. Could have brought it to the servers or managers attention, however I was tired and simply wanted to go home. Do not recommend dinner.Lunch and breakfast can be pleasant, however navigating the made-to-order/buffet station is difficult. It is poorly staffed and organized. Go early or late to avoid frustration and extended waiting.
Wonderful we will be back!!!!!! Highly recemended. Mike our waiter was great, very friendly and professional. Andrew the manager was very nice and friendly. Angenila another wait staff member was so sweet. They made our dinning experience even better. Thank you!!!!!!!
The food is very disappointing!!! Consistently disappointing, the time before this was just a horrible. They have the resources to have one of the best restaurants in town. How do you mess up fries??? Everything I ordered was not tasty!!!! The bill is easily over $100 for less than desirable food!!!
Dinner was great. The waiter, steven from ny was the best I have had anywhere. And explained every thing to us and was so attentive and even explained his why his name tag said Ny. We come in thanksgiving to eat. But, we will start coming for pasta and just a night out because steven made this such a pleasurable evening. Thank you for the wonderful service steve.
I wish during course of my weekly stay down in Augusta I had discovered this gem of a place when i first arrived. I made the mistake of staying at the Ramada on Broad St., when i really should have stayed in the Marriott instead.Im not new to the Augusta area at all, but i never knew about this place called Augustinos which is in the Marriott hotel down on Broad and 10th, which is a far better area of Broad then where i was staying (Broad and 5th).Anywho, i went to Augustinos, the day before i had to fly out from GA back home to NY, and boy, was i happy i ate my last meal there too. It was a toss up between the french restuarant not too far away from my hotel and Augustinos. My mother and I had eaten at Luigis a couple nights before, and we hated it. So we werent much in the mood for another disappointing Italian restuarant. But we decided to give Augustinos a shot when we read the rave reviews.Went down there, we loved the Marriott, wished we were staying in it instead of Ramada. We LOVED Augustinos!!! I cant rave enough about this place. Augustinos is elegant, very much a fine dining place, and i was def underdressed. Its fancy. Its a place that makes you feel like you are in another world or like a queen for a day while youre there. The service is excellent! Very top notch. The portion size is absolutely perfect! Ive never been to a restaurant where the portion sizes are so exact, so perfect of a size. Usually where i go to eat, you usually get too much or get too little. But Augustinos is right! You will not leave hungry from this place. But you also wont feel weighed down either. So you can continue what you were doing without feeling that ughhh heavy feeling in your stomach, that may make you want to sit down for a few moments before getting back to life. The food is to die for. Anything you order, you cant go wrong. Everything is made to perfection! Very gourmet. I cant remember what i ate when i was there, but i think it was a chicken entree w/ artichoke hearts and some pasta... cant remember exactly what it was, but it was great. Salad was mixed field greens (radichio, arugula, baby spinach, red leaf, etc). it was a side salad, had some crumbled gorgonzola over it, along w/ dried cranberries. I remember it was big enough to split w/ my mom.The coffee was delicious as was the Ice Tea (sweet, no lemon). The desserts im sure would of been delicious as well, but we never got to try them. My mother and I were fully satisfied once we finished our dinner, so we didnt try the desserts. Would of loved too, but we were full.Do yourself a favor, if you are visiting the Augusta area, book your hotel at Marriott, and def go to Augustinos. You will not be disappointed at all!! I wish we had a place of this caliber up in NY where i live.

2021-11-15We ate here because it was in the hotel lobby area. We all ordered mainly appetizers to get a taste for everything. All of what I could eat (I do not eat pork ) was amazing. The staff were really nice, I would recommend eating here even if you are not staying at the hotel. Be aware you will have to pay to park!

2022-05-30We went for breakfast. We connected with the hostess....the server....not so much. The skillet breakfast was actually delicious. I got it with eggs over medium and I should have taken pics before I dived in bc the presentation was gorgeous.....my presentation to you is after I dived in. LOL

2021-10-02The food was delicious. I ordered the muscles (not pictured) with creamy sauce and scallops. Highly recommend trying both! Great wine selection and a fun place to entertain guests.

2021-12-31Augustinos is an Augusta treasure! Hidden in the Marriott, but not lacking on ANYTHING! The cheese bites are amazing, spaghetti, shrimp and grits are all delish! Breakfast is also great! The Monday thru Friday pasta bar is ONLY $14 for an enormous amount of food. My custom bowl is in the picture attached. 😋😋😋 10/10 recommend!

2022-05-14Called last minute to see if they could accommodate a party of 9 and they happily accepted. Soon as I walked in the host greeted us with such a pleasant tone even held a conversation with me until we got to our table. Our waiter (Eric ask for him 😊) he kept the conversation going with us was very patient he knew the menu answered any questions we had. The food was delicious and served in a timely manner. Even think it was the manager at the end of our meal checked on us i don’t even think they knew their friendly gestures and conversations made our week I lost my nephew a few days ago and it meant so much to me how they all was towards us. I will definitely be back.

2021-07-23We came for lunch and had the mushroom spinach ravioli & the shrimp and grits. We had huge portions, the bread was a good touch, and plenty to take home after. The food was good, the dessert was amazing and the real star of the show. I would recommend coming just for dessert and coffee at the least. Staff could have been friendlier but all in all a very pleasant lunch. The environment is quiet and nice and perfect for a date night or a date lunch.

2022-01-12I celebrated my birthday 1/8 at Augustinos and had an awesome dinner experience! The hostess, our waitress and bartender went all out to make my day special. They were very professional and made us feel welcomed. The food and peach martinis were outstanding (we had the lasagna and shrimp/grits, cheese bites and creme brulee). The restaurant was very appealing and super clean. We will definitely revisit soon!
