They are some very good people they help me out and gave me what I needed like one of the best customer service I have all night because I had a problem my car and they gave me some of their personal experience and it made me very happy. And also they stayed open longer than OReilly
Extremely unknowable staff. Went to return a duralast power inverter that was faulty out of the box. It was 3 days old. I was told that I could only exchange it. So I asked for store credit. Was denied. Only exchange. So I agreed to an exchange. They didnt have another so I was told I could go to ANOTHER STORE and get it. Why wasnt I offered for them to order it from their warehouse? I called oreillys and told them I had purchased a power inverter just to see what would happen when I told them it broke. They said cash back or they will replace it. My choice. Long story short I will not be doing business with them anymore. At my shop or personally.....
I want to thank and comment Kourtney at this location. I purchased a battery for my vehicle at another location. My SUV continued to lose charge and leave me stranded to the point that I bought cables to get a boost in case I needed help in the street. I was concerned, stressed and in fear of my vehicle stopping anywhere.After 2 weeks I went back to where I purchased the battery, was told that they couldnt help me because their test machine wasnt working and he couldnt confirm that it was the battery. I asked if I could go to another location. He said yes. Praise God I chose to go to this location. An associate tested my battery and said it was not my battery so he couldnt swap it out or refund it. I asked for a manager. Thank you Kourtney for taking charge, for listening to my concern and caring enough for my peril.You swapped out my battery, and corrected the issue with the price I was charged at the other location. You exemplified the capabilities of a manager. I hope you are rewarded for a job well done which you so deserve.
Mason was AWESOME! Hes very knowledge. He listens. He tries things that are suggested, which kinda shows that hes willing to learn. Hes super nice! He taught me a couple of things in watching him work. He explained what he was doing without me even asking. Hes very much appreciated. He was a very good hire! Because of him helping me install my battery, my experience there was better than I expected. It made me feel proud of my neighborhood Autozone.
One of the most professional places of business I’ve ever set foot in. These folks are simple pros that know how to take care of people. Always a friendly demeanor and attitude, quick to help and very knowledgeable. Sometimes it’s a frustrating thing when you have to deal with buying auto parts but they always make your day much better. Come see the difference.
Car batterieThis place is very good in what they do. What I mean by this is that they answered all my questions, were effective, did not create any pressure were I needed to make a decision right away. So theyve earned my trust and I was able to make my decision right there on the spot.But this is not all. Jeff P. Loaded tested my battery, installed my new one, give me some inputs about better care of my battery and did all this with a smile on his face. To top it off all this in 10 min.Prior to this I asked my dealer for this service and they said We have an open appointment next week. Who can wait until next week? I needed a battery today not next week.You really feel appreciated when someone is as professional as he was -is. You dont mind spending your hard earned money when you are treated with respect.Good job Auto Zone and great team in McDonough!!!
Guy was helpful. As much as he could anyway due to Covid. My check engine light is on and I came to get a diagnosis. Usually they come out with their machine and do it. They have a new little device where the customer plugs it up themselves into the car bring it back in and then they plug it into their machine. It still gets the job done I guess. Dang it Covid
I had a wonderful experience with Jeff and Luke. I was stressed about how my car was running and both associates assisted me in getting the correct parts I needed. They educated me on the issue I was having with my car. Im so grateful to have met Jeff and Luke. Auto Zone has and always will be my first choice in getting parts for my car.
I had an amazing experience at this AutoZone location, on Oct. 30, 2020. I went in for headlight bulb replacements for my Nissan Versa Note and Kourtney initially assisted me by finding the necessary part for my car in the computer system. Then Miss Brenda joined in on the Team effort to further provide an exceptional Customer experience and ultimately, Purva ended up being the Team Member to install the headlight bulbs. It was a quick (and complimentary) install, plus Purva gave me some extra car maintenance tips relative to some concerns I have.Miss Brenda, Kourtney, and Purva - - PLEASE DO NOT ever lose your enthusiasm for life altogether, nor for providing a regularly occurring, pleasant Customer experience for those you encounter on a weekly basis. Just went to get a diagnostic test and didn’t go in because I didn’t have a mask on since we are in a pandemic. (You know, not to catch nor spread anything or what not)I Sat In the parking lot and called them to explain why I didn’t go in and what I’m there for just to be told that “we aren’t going to people’s cars”.Strange thing about that statement is that I just saw them under someone’s hood when I pulled up. The same employee that said that to me over the phone didn’t have a problem going underneath someone’s car opposite my skin tone....Lived in this area for years and someone went under my wife’s car yesterday to help at this same location. I know b.s when I see it....Gonna hold you accountable for your actions
I come here at 8AM for assistance. Asked the associate to preform the diagnostic test on the vehicle. She proceeds to tell me she will NOT do it and will give me the device to do myself. I advised her I don’t know how to do that. That is why I came to this establishment because I’ve always had an associate assist me with that themselves. The store associate proceeds to give me directions on how to use the device without assistance. STOP HIRING WOMEN THEY CANNOT HELP !!!! (The associate was about short to average height white woman with blonde hair)
I don’t know what it was about this location but I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in. My Car has been acting up lately and I needed to find out what was wrong and I went to autozone to see if there was anything they could do. There was this Lady named Barbara, and her customer service skills were just great. Everything I needed to know she was able to help me with. If I could recommend a good autozone location to get your car checked, it would be the first on my list
Very happy with my visit today. Had a bad battery. Staff (Eric) installed my battery purchase on site for free. Great service and quality. Life hack suggestion; When moving into a new area find these three things and make friends with them, your Pastor, Doctor and Mechanics. Well add to this your local Auto Zone people who will make friends with you. Thanks guys
It was a very bad experience. The manager didnt want to give me my refund, she said go to a different store. It was only $23.53 when I said I was going to call your corporate office she gave me the money. I just didnt understand why she told it that fair!! She said she didnt have that much money. Thanks
Went to this AutoZone location on Hwy 42 to buy a new battery. Bought the battery and AFTER I bought the battery I was told they couldn’t put it in for me because they close in 10 minutes. So, I decided I didn’t want to spend the night in the parking lot so I would buy the wrench myself! I spent the next hour tugging on the bolt, 6 months pregnant!!! Thanks a lot!!!!
Ideally I prefer to deal w/ men when it comes to car issues( just my opinion) after going to 2other stores in McDonough seeing nothing but females ,left,& I came in 2/12/20& Mr Thomas ( general manager )was AWESOME,cust service exceeded my expectation,he was highly knowledgeable, & professional .i Highly recommend him😁
The worst parts people around. Not one person out of the 6 they had working had a clue wtf they were talking about. The rep that helped me was very rude. I would never go back there. I highly recommend taking your business to Napa. Their parts are made in America, unlike Auto Zone, whose parts are made in China and Malaysia.
I went to this autozone and asked an employee there if they could show me where my powe steering fluid is for my car, so we went outside, and she told me it was on the right side of my car, so I asked her isnt it supposed to be on the left because it says power steering on the left. She read the label and still insisted it was on the left. So I asked her which power steering works for a 2002 Nissan Maxima, she told me, I bought it and put it into the side that she told me. So I left and I was going to school. My car was still making the same noises it was prior to md putting in the power steering, and my breaks felt different. So I looked up online where my power steering was for my car, and it was on the left, then when I looked up the part of my car that I put my power steering in, it was my breaks. This lady done messed up my car, I just recently purchased it, and Ive spent over $400 trying to repair this car that this lady done messed up. I talked to some employees at this autozone and they werent giving me no advice or help on what to do on this situation that there co-worker put me in.

2022-04-25Manager on duty (I believe her name was Brenda) was so rude. She refused to help my boyfriend and I with a replacement that was under warranty that he had just bought this morning. Just because it had numbers on the part that she wasn’t familiar with (GM number). She kept saying “can’t help you, can’t do that for you, that’s not my problem” kept dismissing like we were trying to pull one over on her. Decided to leave and go to the other location in locust grove and they actually knew exactly what the numbers were and were able to go above and beyond to tell me exactly what other location had the part we needed.

2022-05-09Very friendly staff, helped me install a battery in my car. Service is quick and fast too. My goto shop for car parts that I need for my car. The Duralast brand is pretty darn good too.

2021-08-31After spending around $850 in store over multiple visits. I feel I can do an honest review. The morning staff in the morning really doesn’t know anything, Absolutely useless when it comes to finding the right part or maybe it’s even just putting in the effort to do their jobs. The lady manager working morning shifts is rude, unhelpful, and difficult to try to do returns with once SHE’S sold you the wrong part. After arguing with her that the part doesn’t fit, she Insisted it’s the right part. (If it doesn’t look anything like what I took off. How can it be the right part?) The young men working 2nd shift do a way better job at attempting to work with you in finding the right part even if they don’t have a clue how to work on a vehicle.

2022-03-25I needed touchup paint. Walked in asked where it was got pointed in the right direction. Cool. Couldnt find what i needed so i went back to the counter to see if they could see what i could use or something recomended. Dude points back at the paints and tells me everything is over there. I tried to explain that i have a bmw and they dont have color matches for bmw what would be close and he got annoyed. Told me to just go somewhere else that could get my color along with other mumbles i couldnt understand. Just thought since i was literally the only person there maybe he could have been helpful a little.

2021-06-25Kourtney is always a pleasure.She is able to always meet my need for automotive parts. No matter what the problem is she has always been polite, and professional, and fast ! Great customer service skills. If I can I would give 10 stars. I am never disappointed when I come to this store.
