Stopped in for work at many of the businesses housed in this mixed used location. The restaurants are plenty with many different options, hotels in the area and nearby, ample parking ramps, walking friendly, open spaces to run around and have fun. A good mixed use location built for purpose. Many known brands of big corporate offices in the area as well.

Love this shopping mall! It’s outdoors, you walk outside to get to different stores. They have a mix of high end brands, and have wonderful dining options
The Avalon shopping mall is a pleasant place too shop. It is very clean, kid friendly, and has a variety of stores too choose from. During the winter season they have a beautiful ice skating rink in the middle of the Avalon Plaza by the movie theater.
A really nice strip to spend time with family and friends. Nice collection of brands and restaurants, and sufficient room for kids to play. There have pretty awesome Tesla and Peloton showrooms.. Nice and clean. Have visited the place 3 times in the 2 weeks I was there.
The shops, outdoor areas and amenities are top notch. Its a great spot for a date, family outing or just to hang out. Parking is a nightmare though. We easily spent 30 minutes bouncing between garages and lots just to find a half decent spot.
I took my wife on a quick getaway. She and I both loved it there. A wonderful place to go, from the restaurant/bar to the stores, other restaurants and movie theater that are all in walking distance. I definitely recommend a weekend there to anyone.
Nice area to walk with some shops
The decor and ambience was fabulous. Warm and comfortable from the time you walk in. Walking distance to shopping and fabulous restaurants. Looking forward to returning soon and will keep in mind for future work conferences with the adjoining meeting spaces.
The Avalon was smart enough to have a Nike store move in. Certain stores bring certain crowds. Since then I’ve had a much “louder” experience. Since then I’ve had young customers from the Nike store “barking” at my dog when I’m just taking it for a walk.I used to enjoy Lenox Mall and Phipps.. and look where that’s gone. I moved to Alpharetta for a change and was happy to find this great place. Be smart about what stores you add to this place Avalon.Besides that it’s a great place. For now.
This reminds me a an upbeat Seasons 52. Lots of heathy choices that are prepared well. The brussel sprouts are really good with a sesame oil finish to them. The herbalist drink was a fresh citrus to pair. Salmon was really great as well. Have come to really enjoy True Food. Our first experience was in Colorado with them and it didnt disappoint here either.
I love shopping here better than anywhere in Atlanta due to the being able to be outdoors during the experience! The food here is fantastic and all the top brands are here we love!
Beautifully decorated tree and surroundings and temporary ice skating rink brought smile to many faces. Had a really happy feeling walking down the street.
Visiting Avalon is always great! The shops are upscale, the area is clean and offers a lot for everyone. Seating is located everywhere (from swings to couches to Adirondack chairs! We went to Kono Grill which has such a swanky atmosphere! So fun. Nick, our bartender, was friendly and the service and food was awesome! No long wait, great music, upbeat vibe, so open and airy! We will definitely return!
Delicious pizza, thin crust, perfect amount of cheese, goes really well with the spicy level. Definitely a recommended place when you are around Alpharetta.
This Mall has altogether a different look and feel (more like European) with nice restaurants to dine and boutique like stores. It has a nice cinema hall and water fountains. Nice place to hang out and spend quality time. Recommended.
Dog friendly, upscale, outdoor mall.
Every time we visit family we come here. Its just AWESOME!! So much to do and the quality is just spectacular. From Jenis to Apple to Ice Skating in the winter, to great coffee shops and places to eat and so much more. Really refined but not over the top. We just always love walking around and experiencing the crowds and great shops.If you are in Northern Atlanta and looking for something the whole family can enjoy this is it. Tons of stuff around it as well to do. Just cant go wrong.Food places like EL Felix and Sushi places, several coffee places, fast food, steaks, whatever you are looking for they have up scale and fast. Got to try Jenis ice cream, take a risk and try something new :)Hope this helps!
A beautiful area all year round, shops and restaurants. The Christmas decorations are beautiful. The little park that is grass is now a skate rink. A great people watching place. Just sit down at a restaurant have an appetizer or drink and enjoy.
The place is amazing in the evening. Lights up beautifully and creates a very lively atmosphere. A fun atmosphere with lot of options to wine and dine and have fun.Must visit this place if you have not been here before.
The best Mall of Georgias . Is beautiful mall. Located in Alpharetta close to 400. Super complete area. Many and stores.
Love that I get to work in this area. The whole district has an amazing assortment of shops, restaurants, workout studios, etc. I love being able to walk everywhere (especially to Whole Foods) and run errands on my lunch break! The Avalon Hotel is a site to visit in itself - a great venue to host events. The developers of Avalon have done wonders for this community and city.
Great area! Ive been twice and its always a bit crowded, but for good reason. They have a great assortment of stores and restaurants that could keep you there for pretty much an entire day!
I love Avalon- you can shop, eat, or just walk around and it’s always exciting and full of life. They have a great selection of restaurants and cafes for brunch, lunch, dinner, or just grabbing a dessert or coffee with friends. There’s always lots of people there which makes it a great place for people watching and just hanging out in general because it’s so lively.
Like a smaller scale of Atlanta Station copied here, taste of city life in suburb. Come check it out! Now it installed many Tesla charge stations made it more attractive to come over here.
Stopped in this morning for the Festivals of Speed. The site itself was very impressive! Its in a great location, parking is very easy to figure out and even more convenient. What impressed me most was how clean the entire plaza was. There was no garbage on the ground, the grass and plants were well-manicured, and the walkways were spotless. Not to mention the quality and variety of all the shops! Great place to check out, Im excited to go back when it isnt so busy to visit some of the stores.

Words can not describe the magnificence of the Avalon experience. Granted I visited right before Christmas. I felt like I was in a Hallmark movie. Everything was perfect, the decorations, the stores, the resturants, the sitting areas, the atmosphere. This place is a whole vibe.
Great stroll on a nice weather day. Love walking around the plaza, plenty of shopping and food options here. Lots of outdoor seating. Loving their set up . The only problem I had encountered after visiting twice this week during out trip, parking is a problem.
Very nice shopping mall with Regal Cinemas, Whole Foods grocery store, Haven apartments, if you live here you could just never leave. Theres a variety of restaurants and shopping so you can go several times and always have a new experience. Its expanded quite a bit to have a hotel and conference center, office spaces and additional parking. Ice skating in the winter is fun, although lines can get long. For little to no money, you can get a coffee or tea or just people watch, while food, shopping and movies can get beaucou $$$. Overall always a fun place to go out and can be family-friendly.
Lots of stuff to do here. Food, entertainment, drinks, shopping, or just hanging out with friends. Parking is a challenge at times, so prepare to walk a bit to get to where youre going. There are condos above all of the shops and restaurants, which could be super convenient but also noisy during the evenings entertainment and night life.
Avalon is the golden standard for mixed use development within metro Atlanta! I visited to walk around and see what various shops are offered. It’s designed for the pedestrian and has a wide variety of retail options along with some local restaurants along the main street.

I usually dont write hotel reviews but Yvette at the check in desk was absolutely wonderful. When I approached the desk, she was friendly, polite, and greeted with a smile. She helped this technically challenged guest find the hotel confirmation number on my cellphone. The Valet staff was also top notch!! We purchased a new car while in Atlanta and the they took the time to show me the fancy gadgets on the car. I cant say enough good things ant thr room was clean with a super comfortable bed.. We are already planning our next trip!

2022-06-16Great place to shop and dine or even live. Ton of upscale restaurants to choose from. There’s a whole food grocery store and movie theater. Everywhere is pretty walkable once you get here. If you want to live here the townhouses start around million and single family are 3 million. Overall awesome spot to visit.

2022-01-04Good place. I enjoy walking and shopping. The only issue is I can not understand it is an indoor mall or outdoor mall. If the goal was to make it outdoor, mall needed lots more sitting areas similar to Rumi restaurant. Good parking

2021-12-28Went ice skating here, and it was so much fun! Even though I was a beginner, I had such a good experience skating here! Everyone was very nice. I love how avalon has so many activities to do in one place.

2021-07-19Movie cinema, food and drinks ,shopping center what not. It’s really amazing center with everything. I feel like things are bit pricey but worth it to go and enjoy with your family and friends. Jeni’s ice cream is too good to have it.
