Got the Bistro Burger and Sweet Potato Fries. Awesome food. The Bistro Burger was topped with Gouda cheese, bacon and arugula. Perfect size burger. Didnt fall apart and was a perfect medium heat. Sweet potato fries were great. And the sauce they gave me for the fries was the bomb. Service was good. Will definitely return.
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Our waiter wore sunglasses throughout our whole experience. He acted in slow motion and as if he had been smoking something. We placed our orders (party of 7) and waited and waited and waited. During our waiting period our waiter came by and did not apologize for the delay but also was confused for the delay. He asked if we needed anything and 3 of the 7 people had no water so we asked for a refill. He said how many? We counted and said 3 of us (could he not see the empty cups?)!Finally he brought food for 1 person in our party- she began eating, was about to finish when 2 other people received their meals. Person 1, 2, and 3 FINISHED THEIR MEALS. We asked for the manager and kept asking what was causing the delay. At this point we are really annoyed. We asked to cancel the other peoples orders because we were annoyed and had been waiting over an hour and a half while tables around us all were receiving their food. The response when asking where the manager was our waiter said he’s busy but he’s coming. FINALLY the waiter and manager come out WITH THE REST OF THE FOOD. We said what in the world- we don’t want this food and why did it take so long. The manager said it was because the waiter rang in the order 1 by 1. The manager was very slouchy and not present. He barely apologized and quickly went to the back of the restaurant. So unprofessional and all we really wanted was an apology and a reason for the delay.
We arrived at 7:10 pm on 4/24/22. We were told we would have a 50 minute wait. At 8:20 I asked the hostess if she knew about how much longer it would be. She told me that she had no idea. I asked if the 50 minute wait had changed and she said I have no idea, the kitchen is backed up. This is the same hostess that told us 50 minutes. Then shortly after another group asked about their wait time. For a second time I heard her being rude to them about the fact they were nicely questioning the time they were told. Then another lady from the back that was much nicer, communicated that the kitchen had multiple people walk out and that they were short staffed. By this time it was 8:40. Not only had we waited that long but then we were told even if we were seated in the next few minutes it could be another hour before we even got our food. It seemed as if they were trying to persuading us to leave. We did decide to leave with not much time left to find other dinner plans. I just want everyone to know we went to Stockyard Burgers and Bones and had the best service and the best food ever!! I highly recommend it as it was a complete turn around from the disaster we (and others) experienced at Bad Daddys. I am not usually one to post reviews like this because I understand things happen but the way we ( and others) were treated that night is unacceptable.
Food was outstanding. My burger came out just as I ordered. My friends did not. He had to send his back. Took additional 10-12 mins and they reused the original hamburger. Server acted like my buddy was taking to long to order. She would give a look anytime he added to his burger. Seems like she shouldve been paying better attention
I had a very nice experience here. My server was so sweet! Once I find out her name, I will give an update. The food was hot and fresh. Even though the burger was well done, it was still juicy and just perfect!!! I will be returning here again🙌🏾
Decidedly below average experience. Ordered food for pickup. Burger was dry, flavorless, and room temperature. Sweet potato fries were limp and obviously reheated. I live less than a mile away, and got there before my food was ready, so it hadn’t been sitting, and it wasn’t the drive home. Much better options in the area. Person that got my order was very pleasant, so I added a star for that, but considering the price, and that my food was supposedly freshly made, a one star experience.
The first few times, the service was excellent, and I enjoyed the food and drinks. Ive been here four times and writing this review regarding my last visit.The hostess was not present when I entered. I stood there 5 min before the bartender said to seat yourself. I sat down, and no one said a word. I moved the bar and got a menu, then moved back to my original seat. The waitress proceeded to take someone elses that arrived after me.I brought this to her attention, and she was very calm about it and said to hold up. Finally, a waiter took my order. The fact that I had to say something to them is frustrating. Had I not been assertive, I would have been there forever. They need to work on their customer service skills and organization.All that said, the food was good as usual. The three stars are for poor customer service.
We have been here 4 times three of the 4 times we have waited 20 to 30 minutes to even be approached for our drink order another 30 minutes for good tasting but WAY over cooked burgers and then had to ask a different service staff for out check. We kept trying hoping for a better result each time. We are pretty easy to please will always leave a decent tip, but wont be back.....

My husband ordered me a burger that I have been starving for all day, and to my unpleasant surprise I had to throw the food away. My burger was under cooked (I asked for well done) my fries were bottom of the batch, stale, hard, burnt, and a cluster of them were stuck together. Very disappointed 😞 being that they had great reviews.
First time visitors! Had the opportunity to sit outside on the lower level. The hostess situation was interesting but we got past it. (Just took her a minute to figure out if we could sit outside) But lots of others stepped up to make sure we were being taken care of. Once outside, service was great! Food was good and cooked to order. Wings were a bit pricey and cooked to a light crisp. Sauce ( thai chili) was flavorful! Burgers were good temp and filling. Tots were PERFECT! Chips- just ok. Glad we finally stopped by. We definitely will try this place again!
My husband & I found this place yesterday. It was outstanding! We both got the Chunky Elvis shake - delicious! Hubbys long island was nice and strong. He ordered the smokehouse burger & I ordered Emilios chicken. Both were amazing! The onions rings were delish as well! Definitely wish there was one of these in NSB, FL. If we are in the area again, we will definitely be back!

Great menu with multiple burguer options or the ability to create your own burger. Great ambiance with TVs and a bar to watch a game. The only drawback (call me old guy) is that the music was a little loud for having lunch. Still, this is a great place to eat good quality burgers.
Excellent food and wonderful service!! Yes they’re understaffed like most places are right now so things take a while, but I think some of these other reviewers have high expectations. It’s a burger bar not a steakhouse people!! Just order and appetizer and be patient (I recommend the queso!!)
Do not go here! We waited 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order and no one showed up to take our order, or even acknowledged us being in their section. I asked a waitress who our server was because we have yet to be served and still no one showed up. It is not worth the time to go.
My friends had the bacon cheeseburger on steroids and said it was delicious, my other friend ordered the Elvis chunky milkshake but they had no bananas. They need staff the weight for one burger and milkshake was an hour and 15 minutes. So needless to say its a long wait because they need help, dont come hungry but you will like what you get.
Ordered DoorDash from Bad Daddy’s last might and it wasn’t great. The Burger we ordered came and was cooked perfectly and the tater tots were great but we had several issues with our door Dash order and primarily it was the fact that we ordered a mac & cheese kids meal with milk and we ended up with the kids chicken tender meal which we did not order there with no milk, there was no communication about the mac & cheese not being available or milk and I would assume them credit me that and not send me the chicken, we asked for mustard ketchup and mayo to all be on the side and there were no condiments , there were no utensils, no napkins in the bag and overall we were fairly disappointed. I’ve ordered here before and it’s usually been really good. Step it up bad daddy‘s everybody has a bad night every once in a while but we have lots of choices out there for hamburgers.
Fried pickles are tasty, but if you want more than ranch for dipping, they have a variety of house-made options. Burgers were tasty. Build-your-own burger has many options to choose from. Burgers were slightly overdone. Wild mushrooms had a bit too much rosemary. If you want more burger for your money, choose a 2nd 7-oz burger for $3...same price for 2 burgers rather than (1) 10-oz burger. Great, friendly service!
Totally loved it! They make a mean burger! The fries were good, but the total were amazing!! We had a great time there! Gabe was our wait staff and was great! Loved his smile! He kept our glasses full without us having to ask. My husband had asked for regular bacon instead of the jalapeno bacon, but somehow one piece if jalapeno bacon ended up on his burger. Chris came over and was asking how things were, if our visit was good, food, etc. My husband told him his burger was great all except the bacon. Chris was phenomenal! We didnt expect for anything to happen, but. Chris took care of us. The food was good enough for more visits, however, the phenomal treatment we received today will keep us there for a long time coming! Thanks for a GRAND first visit! Looking forward to trying other menu items next go round!
Sad. Decided to check this place out. It’s a Sunday about 4pm with 4 tables of patrons and 3 people at the bar. I was seated promptly, but that was all that was prompt. I sat for 8 min and not one server was on the floor for me or anyone. Saw several servers sitting and talking to one another. Again not busy at all - guess I now know why it’s not busy there, sadly. I finally got up and left ….yawn.
Always had great experiences here every time. Me and my girls LOVE this place food never disappoints and our favorite waitress Courtney is hands down the best you’ll ever find in any restaurant.
The place is clean. The customer service was awesome this young lady by the name of the Keewee she was working behind the bar but she also came to the table to host and tell us about the food she was very knowledgeable what was good and what was not good majority of our conversation was life and the food she has a great personality she make awesome drinks so if you wanna go have you a great burger and a awesome martini you need to go see Keewee
I ordered take out on 3/4/22. The food was cold and I was barely given any sweet potato fries.I shared with Amanda that the food was cold to the touch and she was immediately defensive and snapped back saying “well it’s been sitting for 20 minutes”. I shared that I was told 20-25 min pickup time and she said she tells people that so they won’t have a long wait but the food comes out sooner. I wanted to have my food switched out but Amanda said that all they had in the back that was ready were tater tots which wasn’t even a part of my order. She was so rude and dismissive and seemed as if she did not want to be bothered.I would not recommend this restaurant and wish I read the reviews sooner.
Food was delicious, must try the Not your mama’s deviled eggs. Bacon queso was awesome. Our server Deshawn was welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will be returning,
One of the best burgers Ive had in a while! The craft your own burger OR craft your own salad options are genius. There is literally something for anyone here! The buffalo tots were on point too! My wife and I did get a little bit of a suprise after having a couple shots of fireball and got the check to see they were $9.50 for a 2+oz shot, not sure if the server just keyed it in as a double or what but we were not expecting our drinks to cost as much as our meal. The service was amazing, everyone was super friendly. The outdoor space was great for chilling with our dog while we waited for our food. Had an amazing day and so happy and so full after our first trip to Bad Daddys! We will definately be back. Just watch those shot prices!
We are here now because this is all I wanted for Mother’s Day! We waited 15 min outside and had to go grab someone to help us. We have now been here almost an hour and no food yet. I worked at the one in Charlotte years ago and this is not how they are run. They are not helpful and the manager was outside on the phone not helping anyone. What a waste of Mother’s Day. I hope they can make this right or we won’t be back. So disappointed
This Burger Bar is so good. Service was great, prices, & atmosphere. They have the best strawberry lemonade ever! I went two days in a row lol. My fav new spot!
Usually Bad Daddys has been a 5 Star Place.I have frequented this place in several states.3 visit to this 1.Slow SUNDAY AFTERNOON.Sevice was NON ATTENTIVE.I asked for a menu, as my phone wouldnt download the MENU..My server said they did not have paper menus as I looked to the table next to me and the couple was reading their PAPER MENU..THE SERVER MYSTERIOUSLY FOUND 2...WHEN I MENTIONED THE OTHER TABLE HAD MENUS...No good suggestions on Drinks or Appetizers.Food was JUST OK.My APPETIZER Fried Pickles my fav, TasTed XTRA SALTY and as if they were fried in fish grease.Also they came out after the ENTREE.NICE.My BIG DADDY BURGER was meh at best, It was room temp as if it was sitting out waiting for the server to pick it up.THE FRIED BACON WASNT PROPERLY COOKED..FRIED GREASE BALL WRAPPED AROUND A HALF COOKED PIECE OF BACON...🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢Maybe it was a depressing mood in the air, THE SERVER WAS DEPRESSINGMaybe it was me..NAH I JUST WANTED THE SAME QUALITY I HAD PRIOR..Maybe I should have gone to USA CAFE....Same price but definitely HOT OFF THE GRILL.Also order the Fried Chiken Salad.Chicken Salad was served with GRILLED CHICKEN instead of the FRIED CHICKEN per the MENU, and the server was nonchalant about it..SHE MUST OF BEEN CALLED IN ON HER DAY OFF...SHE WAS NOT A HAPPY CAMPER..3rd time is usually the TELL ALL CHARMER..And it Told ALOT...NAH IT WAS JUST TERRIBLE THAT DAY...NOBL1
Omg!!! This place is awesome! The build you own salad is excellent! I got just what I wanted. My husband ordered a burger that had fried bacon on it! The Bad Ass Margarita was on point!!! I had one and was dang near drunk. 👍😁 .... Great food, great drinks, good prices! Our waitress was funny and fast! We will definitely be going back.It was packed when we went but the 30 minute wait was well worth it. Plus the service and food still came quickly.
Great burgers and fun place for families! I ordered a build-your-own burger with tots. The kids had a blast playing on the green before our food arrived. Will definitely be back!
I am writing this as Im sitting here, at first the service was great we wanted to sit on the patio because of the nice evening but, after we got our entrées our server seemed to disappeared. I think his name was shawn???? Anyhow, we never got checked on, we want to pay but out server hasnt came back. Ive been here several times and thus time the service was super poor. Only giving it 3 stars because the food is amazing.
Food was great. I got the nitro milkshake that was delicious. The chips were fantastic as were the fries. The biggest problem youll have is what not to order. The deviled eggs were fried, which was odd but delicious. My husband got the buttermilk bacon and one strip was actually a chicken strip lol. But he said not worth the price regardless. Id come back (more hungry than I was so I could eat more).
Now let me start with the lettuce wrapped burger, it was great, but I also ordered with it a cup of fruit there appears to be mold on my grape? I dont know for sure what it is but it made me lose my appetite. Im willing to give them another shot on the burger alone.
I liked the atmosphere and menu - A lot of great sounding combinations. The burger tasted good, but really needs a better bun to handle everything. I cut this in half and it still feel apart, soggy bun, etc.I had high hopes for the fried pickles, but they were disappointing. Either they were cooked way too long or the pickles are too thin to begin with. I couldnt taste anything but the batter, and when I pulled the batter away, the remaining pickle was paper thin.
All staff were very rude for no apparent reason (it was a Monday evening and wasn’t very busy).There was also a ridiculously loud piercing noise coming from a machine in the bar that was disturbing everyone inside, and the bartender just ignored it as if it wasn’t her problem.I’ll be sure to spread the word about how awful our experience was and not come back!Cheers
I know this is a burger place, and that means meaty burgers... but Im not a huge meat eater and should love to see other burger options. The only burger available for me to eat was a black bean burger. It was ok... definitely better the next day, but it would be nice to see a salmon burger, shrimp burger, beyond meat burger... just other options outside of beef and chicken. The food and drinks were good though. We really enjoyed the truffle fries.
This is a fantastic little burger bar in Smyrna. The price is around ten dollars minimum for their standard burger, which comes with fries, but the standard is a burger so large you cant fit it in your mouth. It has to be cut with a knife and fork! You can get your burgers anywhere between rare and well done. The milk shakes are glorious and worth the price. Great place to go if youve got cash for a nice evening out in a casual place. They do in fact have a bar with deals on certain drinks on certain days. Great staff, too, who work for their tips! Love it!
It’s a breath of fresh air to have a new restaurant in Smyrna, especially one that deserves five stars! If you like margaritas make sure to order the “bad ass” margarita-It packs a punch! I’ve always wanted to try fried deviled eggs so we tried the “not your momma’s”, minus the bacon. My wife was super apprehensive about trying them, and now talks about how she constantly craves them! Their black bean burger is likely one of the best I’ve had. It had an actual light crunch around corners and didn’t fall apart like most veggie burgers. I had the buffalo tots as my side...holy bananas they were so good! Also, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. If you decide to eat at the bar, make sure to ask for Taylor or Erica!
Ok, what started out to be a nice night out for the 2 of us, went down hill pretty fast. So we came for our first vist, very well receive. Hostess very frendley, She showed us to our table, nice windown booth, and again apologize for the wait. Our waitress showed up, took our drink order as well appetizers. She returned very quickly with our drinks, and our appetizers in about 5 min. She then took our order and left. We ordered the build your own Burger, even circle the items on the menu on what we wanted and how we wanted it cooked, which she took with her. Our dinner finally arrived after close to 30 min waite. Thats ok, we finally got our food. First thing we notice, most of the extra items the she ordered werent on the plate or burger. I myself had my loaded to gills with extras, and it looked very delicious, just up to the point when I cut it in half. My Med Well burger was pretty much raw on the inside. I couldnt believe it. Our waitress came by and we showed her my plate and told her about missing items from the other order. She agreed the burger was raw, apologize and took both our plates back. I went to the Mgr. Who listened to what happened, even cked the burger, He also apologized several times, and try to take care of us. Weve already been there now almost 40 mins and werent going to wait for another order. Extremely disappointed of Bad Daddys Burger Bar Cooks. The name fits the product, Bad Burgers. The staff up front, including the Mgr. I think his name is Hunter, they did their best. I give the front staff a 5, but the cooks-1. Over all experience, REALLY Disappointed!!!
Bad Daddys Burger Bar. We really enjoyed from the hostess to the food. We went on a Saturday afternoon Its in a great location off South Atlanta rd parking probably could get tight because there is a lot going on in that plaza. I originally requested to sit outside but it was sooo hot we quickly changed that and went inside. The waitress seemed nervous or something maybe she was new. Anyway we ordered the deviled eggs didnt read the description but they came out fried. Really good my husband ordered the burger off the menu he enjoyed it. But they deep fried the bacon that he didnt care for. I really like that you can custom make your burger with anything you want salad as well. Burgers were great eggs were great. Only reason not a five star that waitress was weird.
Let me start by saying my burger was delicious. Everything else about my evening was a nightmare. It took forever to get our food, my burger was brought out wrong (no bacon, wrong style fried egg), my wifes Mud Slide was not frozen (server says the frozen machine-thing was broken), and they brought me the wrong check. When the manager came over to speak to me about my burger, he seemed put off that I didnt want him to bring me some bacon. But, it took so long to get my food and I was half way done when he came over, I just told him I didnt want to pay for bacon that wasnt on the burger. He finally left us after several back and forths.I will probably try them again in future because the did was good. I hope they get their service issues ironed out.
The quantity of food shocked me. The quality of the food was exceptional. I love the fact you can create your own sandwich and milkshake. The fried pickles were very good as well as the fries.
Food was decent. Place was filthy and intake process was puzzling. We were all talking about how zany and customer unfriendly it was. Some people left before the hostess ever got to them.
Man every time I order from here it’s super quick and always good. Best place to order a online order because within the 10 minutes it takes for me to ride and get my food BAM it’s already done on the rack for me to pick up. Love it.
Had a lengthy discussion about what a mid-rare burger is with the manager. He was very nice but it was almost an argument about how the burger was cooked. It seems they are a bit on the rare side of the cooking standards. I got a medium burger(pictured below) and it was pretty good. The fried bacon had entirely too much breading, I picked it off and just ate what bacon I could. The sauce selection and taste was incredible. Loved them all. Once the bison burger came out cooked right it was delicious also I was told. I will definitely go back and try the nachos, they looked amazing!!Update: another medium burger. If they could get some consistency this place would be great
My friend and I were at a conference in Atlanta near the airport. She said she wanted a really good burger, so I studiously looked up Yelp and Google reviews of the nearby locations, only to find there wasnt much seemingly available. So I plugged Bad Daddys Burger Bar in and found the nearest one and off we went.It was fantastic! Sweet potato fries (we had those first) were hot and fresh. My burger came and was phenomenal, but my tater tots were cold. A manager was over quickly and took care of it in less than 5 minutes. Ironically I enjoyed my burger so much I had virtually no room for the tots, but I appreciate how quickly the situation was rectified.Our waitress was pleasant and friendly.My only real complaint was that sitting in the booth by the door made it quite chilly. However, theres pretty much nothing that can be done about that, other than wearing more layers. :D
The service was great. From the greeters to the servers to the Manager. The food was really good!! Who would have thought a fried deviled egg would be so yummy. I got the Emilio chicken sandwich, which was on point. The server was attentive and kept our drinks full. Prices are good. Cant wait until the weather is better (raining) so we can hang out at the roof top bar. Right before we left I noticed that under the bar area they have installed hooks for ladies to hang their purses on.(picture posted) Very nice! Along with those hooks they have charging stations for your cell phone or tablet. This place thought of everything. We will be back!!
Great burgers, appetizers, and sides. Strong drinks. Pricing and service were great. Fun atmosphere. Highly recommended. We want to sit on the roof bar next time. Fun place!
Was recommended by a friend to try this place and was not disappointed. Food took a little while to come out but it was worth it. Burger was amazing and huge, they mixed up our orders but gave us extra sides for free. The waitress was nice and friendly. Definitely plan on coming back, great food!
Best burgers in town? Probably. Highly recommended visiting this place. Super quaint and amazing food for a bar. They have a rooftop area but be weary cause they dont open it on Monday and Tuesday. :-(Ordered the Badass Burger. Loved it
How this place stays open is a mystery to me. Today, we waited 15 minutes to sit in a half empty restaurant and 10 more minutes to be greeted after being seated. Service was plain awful. The server had no idea what drinks they had and didnt try to go and see, she also meandered around very slowly the whole time, despite having several tables to serve. 40 minutes later, incorrect order! How nice. Ive also had a string of poor experiences at another location of Bad Daddys. Upper level management needs to do something or this place will go under quickly
I have been going here for about 3 years and every time it seems to get worse than the time before. The food is good, but service, meh. I keep giving it a shot because I know places are having a hard time with Covid but hey you better give your best service then. I went once during a rain storm, the place was flooded, speaker was crackling, they were still seating people even thought the roof was leaking and there was like 2 inches of water on the floor - makes me think what was getting cooked in my food - needless to say I left. Recently went back and had the worse service EVER. My order was wrong, missing items, had to call the server who never came to the table on her own, she wasnt even the one who took our order - someone else did because she was taking to long and the place was not even that busy. Never came back for refills. I will be taking a break from this place until/if they can get their act together. Anyone know of a good burger joint in Smyrna/Marietta??
This place was cool. The burger options were very different and I wanted to try them all. I ended up getting the bacon cheeseburger on steroids which honestly was just a bacon cheeseburger it had jalapeño bacon and bacon mayo on it but it didnt taste any different than a baconator from Wendys to me. My advice is if you go here, maybe try one of the burgers that you could not get anywhere else like the Pastrami burger or Daddys Philly. The fried pickles were thin cut like I like them but they were a bit salty. The sweet potato fries were excellent. We ate them before I remembered to take a picture. My server was nice Overall...I would visit again and try a different burger. Oh and I would definitely try the truffle fries next time
I went there Saturday around 2pm and this place was crowded. I ordered the smokehouse burger which was very good. It needed little bit more sauce and it would be perfect.I got the house chips as my side. Not a big fan of those house chips. They were bland and not that special.Overall: a good experience. I would definitely go back.
Hmmmmm, yummy burger 😋! I have been here couple of times and I like it. I Don’t always remember to post pictures cos am grabbing a huge bite, as soon as I have the food. The hostess are polite and respectful, always at your “beck and call”. They offer curbside pick ups as well, delivery via Door Dash and Uber Eats (that’s the services I’ve used so far). The first day I tried their 🍔, you know that feeling of this worths my time and $$ am investing 😁. It was an irresistible feeling. The salad taste good good as well 👍.What else do you like to eat here? Will like to order it next time.If ordering online for pick ups or delivery during lunch and dinner (rush hours), try to order 30-40mins before your lunch break or dinner time. It will save you some time waiting in line.
Decided to try out the new burger joint in Smyrna and I wasnt all that impressed. My boyfriend and I first ordered the bacon queso dip w/ chips. When we tried out the cheese, it honestly tasted like baby breath cheese. It had a bad after taste to it and ended up telling the manager. He soon then told his kitchen manager and they ended up making a whole new batch because something wasnt right. My boyfriend then ordered the Bad Ass Burger. He ordered it as medium and it came out being well done. I ordered the Emilios Chicken Sandwhich and the portion of the sandwich looked good. The chicken though was very chewy and rubbery. Overall, Bad Daddys Burger Bar sets out high expectations for a high-quality burger and it didnt live up to its atmosphere. The customer service was great though. The manager could of came out to be not so aggressive when asking us about the bacon queso dip. Next time will go down the road to Wades.
Loved it me & my aunt had a great time i got to build my own turkey burger. THE DRINKS ARE STRONG TOO I LOVE THAT. I will for sure be back soon with more of my family.
I really like the burgers here. Im a simple burger guy, I dont choose too many toppings. I just like the taste and texture of a grilled burger. All burger ingredients seemed fresh. The fries and rings were pretty good here and all were reasonably priced. The service at Smyrna location is much better than the one in Chamblee/Brookhaven...but neither was top notch. I would certainly go back....to the Smyrna location.
Again, nothing new but awesome service and amazing food. My family and I went there to celebrate my oldest boys b-day. Our server Olivia (though new) did a great job. And the House Amber is AMAZING !! Sell it by the 6 pack and its on !!!
Solid place to grab a quality burger and grab a cold beer. Not the first place I would have thought of to catch a game, but would be a consideration from now on. Waitstaff was attentive and professional, and the location is very clean. I think this is a great addition to the Smyrna area even if it isn’t in the main village.

I have not had this bad of service in a long time. My friend and I went in on Saturday Jan. 1, 2022 and my friend asked if they had Don Julio. The waitress comes back and says the bartender said that they don’t have “urban” drinks there. Me and my friend were a little confused because we had never heard of that before so we asked for an explanation and the bar tender goes on to say that they don’t sell “black people drinks” there. To say we were in shock that those words would even come out her mouth was an understatement. We asked for the manager and then walked out after waiting for 10 min and no manager ever showed up. Welcome to 2022.
Had a slight wait before food came and once we did get served Burger was warm onion rings were super cold and mens bathroom was unacceptable was truly disappointed after riding from Conyers ga ..
Portly run establishment. No COVID-19 protocol. Food is mediocre. Sat me next to the bathroom although there were plenty seats available they acted unlike it was impossible to move to another table. My food took way too long to get to my table. My server was slow. I could go on for days. Will not be back.
Every burger is huge. They are heart attack specials that are deliciously wicked. I didnt get to enjoy the bar but I want to soon.
During our first experience with Bad Daddys we tried to call in a curbside order and the phone was never answered. We decided instead to go sit in at the restaurant and when we arrived it didnt seem busy enough for the phone to be completely ignored. A tall young hostess was at the front desk (the greeter) sitting down when we arrived and nonchalantly took us to a table. In all fairness, the food is good but the customer service sucks. During our second experience, we also noticed it was not busy but the same tall young host at the front desk had us waiting for about five minutes before she finally came over to us. She never politely greeted us nor apologized for having us wait and when we requested a table outside her attitude was so sour that we decided not to eat here. We called several times to try to report this tall young ladys poor behavior to management but, again, no one ever answered the phone. If this tall young ladys attitude is a reflection of Bad Daddys team by way of their management, then I can clearly see why Bad Daddys has so many poor customer service ratings. While I understand it is hard to get good workers post-COVID, this tall young lady does not need to be at the front door greeting customers. Her poor attitude will continue to make or break Bad Daddys business. We will not be going back.
Pretty chill burger spot , they let you build your own burger so that’s a plus for me . They have so many varieties of things you can put on your burger and also different varieties of meat you can use . One unique thing about this place is you can name your burger that you create lol . Food is good and customer service is good definitely gonna visit again!
Free burger on your birthday when you sign up (so review is biased!). Had bacon burger with tater tots — might try another burger type next time. But overall pretty good burger joint - inside looks like a fine place to catch sports game.

Got the Bacon steroid burger for delivery.The burger was cooked from a frozen patty and the bun was soaked through and falling apart. Despite this the flavor was still decent.Wont order again
Decent food. Quality burger and good service even though we accidentally came right at closing time. (Closes at 9PM, earlier than expected.)The biggest downside was the mens restroom smelled repulsive, waitress said it was a sewage problem but it just seemed like it just needed to be deep cleaned.EDIT 12/13/21I have since returned and the bathroom was of proper and acceptable cleanliness.The service was just okay the second time around, multiple parts of the order were messed up, instead of fixing the issue they instead just gave us half off that meal. Which is appreciated but Id rather pay full price and get the parts of my burger I was missing on the side.
This location is about a month old and I pass it all the time. The location looks awesome from the outside with a nice roof top patio. When I finally had a chance to stop in, it was just okay. Sat at the bar first but it kinda stunk like an old bar, which was weird since their new. Decided to get a table inside and ordered drinks. It took about 20 min to get a sweet tea .. I dont know why, the lady just keep saying were making it..lol.. and the kitchen ran out of forks...lol
Pretty good mostly average though. You see what happened was I ordered on my phone through the Google pay app and pulled up to the curbside and called multiple numbers with no phone call answer from anyone for about 10 minutes and then I decided I had to go in which I didnt want to do because I wanted to get a curbside pick up. So I went inside and I stood in line with about four or five other people and I realize there was no one really working at the restaurant besides one bartender one server one host and one take out server. The burger was good, basic, fries were cold within 3 minutes.I give 3 stars because this is post quarantine restaurant struggles.
Their sauce and tots are awesome but for a place called Bad Daddy’s Burgers I was unimpressed with the actual burger. The patty tasted like it was cooked without seasoning, frozen and then reheated in water, I didn’t even finish the burger it was so bad.
Great burgers and salads. The Truffle Fries were amazing! Christian (not sure if I spelled it right) at the bar was great. She makes to die for Margaritas. I recommend the Strawberry Habanero. We will be back for sure.
My first time here... Its pretty good. Had the classic burger create your own side salad, onion rings fried pickles are great... I got tipsy off the mama margarita... Im definitely coming back

Started with an appetizer of deviled eggs. I have never had deviled eggs that were fried, but these were great. Ordered the patty melt and it had just the right amount of onions for me. The manager came around to visit with us to see how we were doing. Our server was polite and our food came quickly.The only reason Im not giving a 5 star is because their beer taps were not working. None of them. That was disappointing.
I ordered food for my family and myself I only received the side orders but when I called to let them know they dont answer there phone left messages and guess what no call back no nothing no apology whatsoever.... I dont recommend this place at all
Awesome awesome atmosphere, very man cave like which I love, margaritas are good, and good selection of local craft beers, waiting for food as I type this but it’s definitely at the top of my favorite places to go right now
Burger was cold. Fries were cold. The server apologized but food was still cold. The apology didnt make the food any warmer.

Ordered a black bean burger and a side salad for takeout. This is what I got. A sad Patty with the cheese stuck to the tinfoil. Not even a whole burger. Service was slow, and I even asked the waitress to verify that it was a burger and not added on top. She took it away and brought it back saying it was a full burger. Cmon, is this laziness or simply apathy? Two stars because my burger and tots were good before the takeout failure.
This is a awesome spot for a awesome burger. My wife and I went for lunch and it was great! Food came out fast and hot and we sat at the bar and had the margaritas definitely have to try that as well.
The Burger I ordered was great! It was hot, fresh ingredients and very tasty.The House Chips were awesome also. Just the right amount of seasoning without being salty. Picking up my mobile order could have been a lot smoother. It was CHAOS at the bar. Hopefully next time I wont have to wait 15 minutes past the scheduled pickup time to get my order.
Made a custom burger because all of the predesigned burgers didn’t have cheddar cheese. Then I discovered they offer pimento cheese!! Great new burger joint!
The quality of the burger is really good, prices are ok little expensive for a burger and the set up of the restaurant is an A+. Didn’t get a chance to see the open air patio on top but I imagine it is a great addition to the Smyrna area. Ask for Pedro if available. He’s friendly and fun to talk too
I ordered curbside to go with my sleeping 3 week old baby in the car. I called the restaurant for 15 minutes straight and nobody answered. I never received my food so I cant review it, but the customer service at this business is trash. I understand people get busy, but to completely ignore your phones for 15+ minutes knowing you have curbside orders sitting there is bs. Definitely wont be returning and will also share my feedback with my followers. You gotta love the power of social media.
Place is quite a disappointment. First and last time here. Buger was burnt and dry. Ordered Texas toast and was given 2 thin sliced bread which were wheat or rye. Then got fries that tasted like they sat their for hours. Horrible sevrice combined with bad food and a no care attitude put this place at the bottom in the smyna area. Management was nowhere be found. Would not recommend. Sorry guys you missed the buck by a mile.
It is completely useless to order shakes or banana pudding for delivery, they never send it. Why even add it to your menu? Just make me mad before eating whatever you decide i should eat. No more ordering from you.

First time here. Good atmosphere and good management. They were understaffed and were upfront about it. We were sat quickly and we given good service with there set backs. I give then props for stating what was up and over coming the issue. And the food was very tasty and delicious. Definitely going back

Burger was good, fries were not hot. They are a little heavy handed with the salt but overall a good burger. Also had the fried pickles which were good but again almost too salty.
DELICIOUS!! The food was incredible and so was our server Courtney. She was very attentive drinks stayed full she checked on us frequently and gave me all the extra ranch I needed! The build your own burger has so many options too. I had the turkey burger. It was so good and the truffle fries were great too. The house made chips and pimento cheese is also a great choice. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend for cuisine and service.
I ordered the impossible patty substation, only to get to my destination to find a regular patty on burger. I tried calling them to correct my order and no one even answered the phone.

For me, this place is just okay--the burgers seem to lack seasoning--but my family really likes it so we go there on occasion.
Ordered the sliders, the beef did not taste good quality. Waitress said it was only Angus grade, beef tasted like it was mixed with scrap meat. I now have a stomach ache after eating one slider. Bathrooms were filthy, service was okay.
Overall the food is wonderful but the service is way too slow! I have worked in the service industry most of my life. Twice now I have been and it took way too long just to get our drinks. Me and my girlfriend first walked in and there was no host so we went to sit at the bar and all the chairs at the bar had not been wiped down so we went back to the front to wait on the host. He sat us at the high tops towards the front... I dont think we will be back to sit down... TO GO orders only from this place for sure!
This was our first visit to Bad Daddys...Lets just say it was not good. The hostess was MIA for about 10-15 minutes.... After being seated the waitress appeared 10 minutes later. We ordered the onion rings for an appetizer. It took 20 minutes for the onion rings to come out. We also ordered a patty melt and a turkey burger. The Turkey burger was dry. The fries were seasoned nicely, but they were not hot, just warm. All of the food was warm not hot.... We were looking forward to trying Bad Daddys Burger, which turned out to be a disappointed.....
I ordered my burger well done. What I got was a burger with a darker pink center. The second one was even less done than the first. By then my fries were cold and I was over the whole experience. I also asked for both monterey and pepper jack cheese. They totally left off the monterey jack the 2nd time around. I sent every thing back and just left hungry. On the other hand, our server Andrew was a boss! He is the reason for the second star.

Visited today for my birthday lunch with my family. Waited 10 min to be even be greeted and seated Was told our server was to busy with a big party so someone would be by to take our order. Waited 25 min for just drinks. finally got drinks and orders placed by the manager. Entrees served another 45 min later. Food was barely warm. 2 orders were incorrect. Took almost 20 min to pay our bill. Not even offered dessert and the server was told it was my birthday! We Visit the Roswell location frequently and thought this would be great since we were in the area. Very disappointed. Not enough staff to handle a good flow for its customers. Disappointed to say the least!And as a response I emailed before I sent the review and no response. Even left a message today for a call back and no response either! Disappointed
I love the Chamblee location but not this one. Ive visited twice. The first time there was thick paper in my hamburger. Also we had rented the entire upstairs and it was freezing (Feb night) and we asked them repeatedly to turn on the heat. After an hour they finally turned it on but to full blast and it was so sweltering hot we were hanging out the door. It felt like the staff was being passive aggressive.The second time it was also cold but not unbearable. Or appetizer came out cold and the food was blah. Dont think Ill go back to this location. The young man hosting was nice though.
Its just an OK burger. They rely heavily on toppings and sauces for flavor instead of the burger patty itself. A little more seasoning in that regard would have made it better. Also it was exceptionally busy and minimally staffed, so wait times for seating and food were long. Aioli, sweet potato fries and strawberry shake were all noteworthy.
It’s wasn’t the best and it wasn’t the worst. Are server was great, can’t remember her name or if she ever told us her name. She was very Attentive to are needs. She was good . So they have Margaritas limit two because they are so strong.. (not) could have made better ones at home. The fried pickles would have been good if the grease was fresh. (Tasted burnt.)The burgers was a nice size but There was no seasoning on them 😞 😞...And of course I had to tater tots and the Tasted burnt as wel.. l would try them again, just early in the day and not to close to Closing..
I love love love Bad Daddys. Granted I always go to the Decatur location I live closer to this location so I tried it out. They are understaffed, which they make you aware and I was patient with that, but the service within itself was terrible. My food was cold, they brought my appetizers but I waited 10 minutes for utensils to eat them. My drinks sat at the bar 10mins before I asked if I could get them myself. While my waitress sat outside chilling. If I didnt love the brand and this was my first experience I would never go back. I most definitely wont be going back to this location though.

This particular location was AWFUL! Dont be fooled by the location and the ambience. My wife and I went in the middle of the day for lunch on a Monday. Maybe 5 or 6 tables with about 2 people each. Why did we wait 10 minutes after being seated to get acknowledged? Then when our order was finally taken, we ordered salads and an appetizer. The salads took over 30 minutes. The appetizer didnt take long, but we asked for small plates.... never got them. To make things worse, we had 2 waitresses and still had horrible service! We actually went to the Roswell/Alpharetta location the next day because wed heard so many good things about the food. We didnt want one location to ruin the experience as a whole. BTW, the Roswell/Alpharetta location was 1000% better!
Im all about safe food pick-up these days. I ordered with Google which was super convenient but their time estimate was not accurate. I went inside as theres no curbside pickup. The takeout section is in the back by the bar. The bar tender will let you know if your order is ready. It took so long to wait for the food to come out that I decided to wait outside since the place was packed. There may be some plexiglass between booths now but only the staff are wearing masks.The food was great to take home! The burgers were warm and had everything we ordered. The sauces were great and the meat perfectly cooked to order. The fries didnt get too soggy on the way home! The burgers are a bit pricey but we were very happy.

Bad Daddys never disappoints! Not only are the burgers amazing but all of their food is great. We love sitting at the bar, and their margaritas are always good and consistently pack just the right punch that we need because there is nothing worse than a weak drink. Bad Daddys location is also great. Well be back soon!
I’ve been wanting to try this place since I moved in the area, don’t get me wrong food is really good BUT my biggest turn off was being sat by the restroom with a strong stench coming from it. I couldn’t enjoy my food, I literally had my boyfriend wait for the tab cause I couldn’t sit any longer. You can’t see the restroom or anything but the smell coming from it was disgusting. If anything, make sure the restrooms are clean with a good stench..
Good food, good atmosphere. Our waitress did a great job taking care of us. The food was very flavorful and cooked as requested. Family friendly sports restaurant type of place with food food.
Nice people, good food, but not a super enjoyable environment, mainly because it was so loud that it was hard to carry on a conversation without shouting across the table. Maybe they should invest in some acoustic tiles or something.
I got excited when i heard the news about this place opening in Smyrna! The service was awesome, the food was yummy, and ill definitely be coming for more!
Came to establishment waited 10 minutes and no one came to our table to wait on us. We just left. Ill never to back to this establishment because of the lack of service.

Im not a burger gal but my black bean burger was great. The margaritas were tasty but not as strong as other reviewers made it seem. Maybe Im an alcoholic. Either way, Ill definitely go back. The only reason I took a star off was because of the hostess. When we arrived, several people were waiting against the wall and no one behind the host stand. After we waited a while, the person to my direct right with all black on (no logo) asked if we wanted to dine in. We said yes. Her demeanor was as if she was only there so she wouldnt get fined. She checked the list of tables, looked around and said they were all full. She said wed have to wait until someone left and that could be an hour or two. We said we wanted to wait. She went back and posted up on the wall without taking our name. The exact same scenario happened to people who came in minutes after us, except they decided to leave. A couple of waiters came by to help. The second one identified two open tables and went outside to tell the people who came in after us there was an available table. Halfway through our visit the hostess bused three tables so maybe she was just filling in.
The Turkey burger was HUGE, I couldn’t eat it all. It was a bit dry but it was okay. I ordered online to pick up, there weren’t any condiments or utensils in the bag. Which made it difficult to eat and not make a mess other than that the tater tots were amazing

I eat in and always order the “make your own salad”. They take the order right in front of me at the bar and enter it in the system. I have NEVER gotten what I ordered. Either they give me a small size, rather than the large size I order, or they leave off some of the ingredients. I used to order and take home, but I got tired of never getting what I pay for. The salad is wonderful, but I have to stay on top of them to get what I order. Yes, the service sucks. Food is good. This is my experience every time I eat there. I think I’m done for now.

If you are ordering for delivery (Uber eats), I urge you to choose anywhere else but here. I always try to give benefit of doubt with every restaurant that I order from, but this place is two for two with bad experiences. Missing items, missing sides, missing milkshake and missing sauces. It takes a full hour for your order, and with missing items and subpar burgers…it’s just not worth it.

The food was good. The service was good. The bathrooms have a serious sewage smell that fills half of the restaurant. God forbid anyone opens the bathroom door when you are sitting in that side of the restaurant. Someone needs to call a plumber because I couldnt go into the bathroom without gagging.
They did not let us move into the shade and there top balcony was closed.But the sever was sweet the server name was RickyThe food like always was amazing.But the service from Ricky was 5 stars but all the other stuff was horrible
Aside from the hour wait, the burger was over cooked and the service was subpar and nonchalant. Could have gotten a better burger quicker from McDonald’s. The only upside was the milkshake even though the cup was 3/4 of the way full
Not enough wait staff available. We had to leave after waiting 20 minutes for our orders to be taken. The manager tried to accomodate us by re-seating us, but by then we were tired of waiting. We went next door to the Publix grocery store and bought subs. I think its just because of the current employment shortage situation. In other times, I would go back to this location as I really love Bad Daddys!!

Atlanta has a lot of local great burger joints but I must say this chain has a great burger selection and fantastic milkshakes. The local places better get their A game on.
Had a problem with the order to go about a week ago. Was told it will be handled where I came back. Not only did he handle it he got the whole check. Ask for John whos the best manager ever.
This is the second time Ive ordered to go. Both times Ive not gotten correct food. The manager was unable to fix the issue last time. Its been almost 2 years so we figured we would try again. I am not only looking at the wrong burger, but I am missing my side. I had to call three times to get anyone on the phone. I am currently on hold. Currently 3 minutes in to the hold, and the call cycled me back to the menu. Will update if the restaurant is able to fix their mistake this time. Seems unlikely. At least this time I used a card so I can dispute this mess.Update: after waiting on hold the second time, the manager did eventually come to the phone, take responsibility, apologize, and say he would refund the payment since we had not gotten the correct food and I did not want to come back. He offered to take my name so I could tell them next time I go and get a free burger, but Im not doing that. (Figured its right for me to share how he tried to make it right if Im going to share what went wrong.)
Waitress wasn’t paying attention. Ordered fries app and my burger came with a side and she recommended the tater tots to which I said I’ve already got fries coming as the app. Fries never showed and she acted as though we never had the discussion of the fries appetizer or tater tots side. $30 two burgers.... was asked to email directly. I did and haven’t gotten any response.
Update since the initial 5 stars when they opened.Service has dropped off drastically. Food quality is all over the place. Last 2 times, the burgers werent cooked to order and were pretty tasteless. Food is overpriced for the lower quality and poor customer service. We sat the the downstairs bar on a busy weekend night and the bartender was overwhelmed.Original review: What a fun twist on a burger place. Great atmosphere from the downstairs dining to the upstairs covered or uncovered rooftop patio. Friendly servers, great suggestions and so many fun burger toppings. Build your own or enjoy one of the creative combos on the menu. Yummy fries on the side ensure you wont leave hungry. Think you can take on more.... check out the homemade shakes.
Waited 40 minutes for our food to be served after ordering it. The fries came out cold for my wife and I. They weren’t sweet potato fries like I ordered. The receipt at the end even showed sweet potato. My buffalo chicken sandwich was very good, but it’s not good enough to wait that long. The server was good and there were some other nice employees. There was no manager that came by to apologize for the wait. I really wanted to like this place. Update: manager was in contact with me and didn’t follow through on his word.
I’m so tired of ordering from this place. The food is great when you eat in the restaurant, but they completely suck at delivery. We keep giving it a try, and every time they screw something up. I don’t think even read the ingredients sometimes. Tonight, for example, we ordered 2 salads. They didn’t give us either of the dressings we ordered, both salads were missing ingredients, and both salads had ingredients we didn’t ask for. Other times they’ve completely forgotten the chicken or some other variety of ingredients. So if you’re cool with a total grab bag, have at it. Otherwise, hope this place makes it through the pandemic and try eating in person.
Burgers (any meat) had no seasoning. But they had drinks specials and thats what got me. Fries were pretty good.

Im always open to finding a new burger place, but honestly, I wish we stopped at Wendys on the way to this place instead. We spoke with the server at the front door, and she seated us normally. Things went downhill from there as we sat in our corner booth and watched patrons come in and be seated close by. After about 30 minutes, we hadnt even had a chance to put in our drink orders, but the other parties that came in AFTER US got their orders in. Eventually, I walked back up to the front area and told the same server that we were waiting a while without any service. She almost seemed to draw a blank and asked where we were sitting. I pointed to the corner booth, but she had me walk her over to where we were. We finally were able to place our drink orders in with her and our food orders a bit later with a different server, but from the time we walked in to the time we got our food, it had been over an hour (1:45 to 2:50). We also noticed the servers at the bar were clapping and goofing it up with patrons at the bar. These customers may have been regulars, but it still wasnt a good look for first-timers who were already irritated with the wait.Unfortunately, for the price and the wait, the food wasnt what we expected. The burger was just...ok, (not great since it was a $10+ burger), but the mac and cheese was absolutely HORRIBLE. There was ZERO cheese in that bowl - it was almost like a thin layer of butter, but thats all, if that. I even had my boyfriend try it to make sure I wasnt crazy, but sure enough, it was basically just noodles. Needless to say, I didnt eat it - very disappointing. The only reason why I dont give it one star was because they took off the food on the receipt, so we only had to pay for drinks, but this is definitely going on the Never-Going-Back list!
My family of five went last Friday night . We waited a significant amount of time for our drink order to be taken. When I asked the only server I saw was she our server she said no and kept moving. A short time later our server appears. She took our order for wings and drinks. Our wing order arrived partially incorrect. Our food later arrived missing condiments we requested. She didnt come around to ask if we needed refills. She never brought straws needed for our end of the meal milkshakes, which we had to remind her that we wanted. The burgers werent seasoned. I noticed the manager go to a couple of tables to check on their experience. He never visited our table. It was a disappointing and mediocre experience for both food and service.
This place has a nice atmosphere and our waiter was really nice. Their menu selection is really good too with a nice selection of over the top beef burgers that can be switched out for other types of meat such as turkey burgers or black bean burgers. This is awesome for people like me that dont/cant eat beef but still crave a burger. I only gave them a 4 star because my chicken club sandwich and onion rings were a bit too on the salty side for my taste. However I liked the atmosphere and menu offerings enough to give them another try.

We ate outside on a beautiful fall day. The server was a little slow, but very kind. The food was excellent. The burgers are truly homemade and different. The appetizer options offered something for everyone. The adult beverage options were tempting with flare and variety. The neighborhood atmosphere was nice. The side salad was fresh and a generous portion.
This place is awesome, love it. Tater tots are amazing, cheeseburger on steroids is a BEAST! Jalapeno bacon is great, not too spicy, but great flavor, been there several times and had great service, told others about Bad Daddys and they loved it also.
Burgers are always juicy and fresh when we go here. I get the basic 🍔 but the 10oz size, Im 220+ and weight train so I like the extra protein. The fries are hand cut and fresh. The staff is amazing. Side note my wife loves the salads here. The salads are huge and you can create your own salad.
This was my 1st time here and I was excited because they had beyond burgers. I ordered 1 beyond burger with mushrooms and swiss on it and grilled onions and lettuce and tomato on the side. I got it with everything on it EXCEPT the lettuce and tomato which was missing from the order, completely. My side: steakhouse fries. They were wimpy, not fried hard at all and maybe less than a handful while my husband and sons plates were spilling over from the tots they ordered. I was very disappointed.
It wasn’t really worth the money to me. I felt like I could have gotten a better burger from Five Guys.
Have been here a couple time and have enjoyed the food/service each time. Recommend any of their burgers. The milkshakes are good too!
Atmosphere is great, food is excellent, service is the best!! Billy was our server. Excellent. Really on top of things and very friendly. We enjoyed him. During our meal Ray came by and asked us how everything was. He checked on us a couple times, super nice guy, and helped us order some extra stuff as well. Great personalities from this staff. The place is packed and managed like we were the only ones in here. Very pleased!!
Id give it another star because the food was pretty good, but the service was definitely lacking. We met our party late and asked how to access the roof at the hostess stand. Instead of leading us upstairs or explaining the quickest access point, the two hostesses gave us two different directions and then just pointed.Our server kept forgetting things and then was gone for long periods of time. Which meant my husband didnt have a drink until just before the food arrived and we had to seek out our server when we were ready for our checks. And the milkshake for the birthday we were celebrating? It was never served.The food was pretty good, but there are a lot of burger places doing the same kind of thing right now. I got the mushroom burger and found it to be a bit heavy on the cheese. The mushrooms should have been the highlight IMO.I tasted the tots and those were great. Perfectly crispy and served in a bowl to keep them from getting soggy. I had the fruit and was happy to see berries included instead of just the regular boring cantaloupe mix (though that was the too).Lots of great beers to choose from, including plenty of local options.Maybe Ill give it another try because everyone has an off night, but hopefully they can give me a reason to go back.
My wife and I decided to give them another try since they gave us coupons for freebies last time we were there. Didnt even make it to the drink order before we left. Sitting anywhere for 10 minutes without a hello from the staff seems bad to me
11/8 First horrible experience with a waitress with attitude that when asked a question regarding kids meals and portions.She started slamming our glasses on the table and abruptly leaving before we could further request an order.It was there after I spoke with the manager who was kind and patient enough to correctly explain to me the rationale of adults ordering kids portions.I am calorie counting and it was a cheat day.If anyone is calorie counting and wishes to cheat you need to order it to go.We ended up sitting in another section with a more professional customer service friendly waitress.
Literally only positive words. staff is super helpful and funny, the menu has so many options it was hard to pick, and its the best burger Ive ever had. very flavorful, and lots of different sauce and topping options its insane. if it was closer to my house Id go all the time.
We were in the mood for a great burger. We were seated and greeted quickly. I enjoyed my margarita. The onion rings were good, though they didnt bring out the ranch we asked for at the time of order. My chili was cold! A cook came and apologized and offered some house chips. The food came and the fries were cold. My tots were warm and the sour cream looked curdled like it was in the heat window too long. I had the Philly, which was over cooked and some of the meat was crunchy. My date had an all American, which was flavorless and dry. (Even though it was well done, it should have still had some juice and flavor). It was charred around the edges as well. Her fries were cold. They brought more, but they werent the best. She ordered a soda and a water, and never got the water. Aside from all that, Miguel was very nice. He was our server and bartender.
Decided to try the texican chicken salad!! It was delicious. The staff was nice and professional. Cant wait to come back and try the burgers!!!
This place is great for burgers and beers. I had the smokehouse burger and enjoyed one of their house beers, the Bad Daddy Amber Ale. Great meal all around. And the Bad Daddys sauce was a wonderful surprise. Will definitely be back.
Ordered Bad Daddys twice in the past week. The first time was pick up and they didnt make half our order. The second time was eat in and it took over 45 minutes to receive our food after ordering it. Several other groups came, ate and went in that time. My food arrived cold and was sent back to be warmed. The second time it arrived room temp. Still ate it and the burger was flavorless and dry. Very disappointed with this Bad Daddys.
If you are looking for a great burger in the Smyrna area, this is it! The service was fast and once the food came, the table was silent. We were all stuffing our faces with the tasty burgers! I had the bistro burger and absolutely loved it. Pretty much cant go wrong with anything on the menu.

About the same price as 5 Guys (maybe a little more), but ten times as good! You definitely get more bang for your buck here in comparison with most other similar places. My partner and I came to eat here on a whim, and we will definitely be back! Amazing service, not super crowded on a Sunday afternoon, and everything was delicious. I got the classic all-American burger, and he got the pastrami one (which he LOVED!).Note: Pepsi product carrier, no coke -- but their sweet tea was excellent.I was very pleasantly surprised!
I ate here last Wednesday. I got 2 burgers to-go and ate an order of wings while I waited on my to-go order. When I went to eat my burger for lunch it wasnt done. Pink and wet. It was disgusting. I literally lost my appetite. The atmosphere here is great but Im not impressed with the food. The young lady at the bar Amanda is awesome. Shes very friendly and pleasant. Needless to say I probably WONT BE going back though.

I work in the same Jonquil Plaza as Big Daddy Burger. I work 2 jobs in the customer service industry and eat out almost everyday. I was ready looking forward to the new addition to the plaza, hoping it would be a nice alternative for my breaks. Everything started off good, my waitress/bartender was very friendly and immediately took my order. Well over 30 minutes later no food. My server had printed out my bill because of a change of shift. My new server was also very friendly, I noticed her earlier having her lunch across the bar. I had mentioned the extended wait and she spoke to the management and 2 of the mangers stopped by and apologized about the delay. Moving forward I finally received my burger, which was just okay for the price and my fries was what I would consider a very small order. I gobble down my burger and asked for my check, my server said that the management has my check and would probably be making a adjustment because of the mistake. 10 minutes late I received my check that had been discounted 25%. I understand opening a new business has a lot of bugs to work out, but the manager that keep me waiting longer for 25% should be spoken to about his. He is the reason for this poor review. I will more than likely stop in for drinks with my co-workers and will give this review a update. Hopefully I will receive a cocktail in a timely manner after working a 12 hr shift!
Went there at 9pm with my wife and daughter. The staff was nice but once we got seated, our server acted as if she didn’t want to be there (young Hispanic lady). Ordered our app and it took almost 40 minuets and she said “someone was supposed to bring it out but I’m a chef myself and I know it was her responsibility. The apps were cold to the point the cheese had gotten hard. The fried deviled eggs were brick hard. Asked for a lemon 4 times and she kept saying she’ll bring it but never did. Waited another 45 minuets for our food and it was cold as well (Fries and burger) for both me and my wife. Burger was dripping with grease from the fried bacon. Not what I expected with this place because I heard great things about it. I’ll give it another chance because the burger was huge.
Small location and seems to have a difficult time seating people in a timely manner. Probably wont come to this location again.

Usually dont eat beef burgers when Im out because the meat seems to taste funny to me. However, my wife thought Id like this place and she was right. The burger was very good. I got the fried egg on top well done. I think it was just a classic burger. Would have given 5 stars but the waiter didnt check in with us to see if we were enjoying our meal...

Ok, not that great. Ordered online for pickup. Estimated it would be ready in 10 minutes. Placed the order and the eta became 20 minutes. Went in at 20 minutes and had to wait another 5 minutes.The burger was ok, nothing special. Fries werent that great and didnt get that many. Didnt get the dipping sauce i ordered.
I have been to Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar about 5 times and each time the customer service exceeds my expectations. Our waitress was thrilled to serve my husband and I. She also delivered a personalized and upbeat experience. They were understaffed however, she did not allow this to deter her from giving us unparalleled customer service. The food was also delicious. But the service we received is the reason we keep coming back. Try Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar and you won’t be disappointed!
The burgers and shakes are awesome, but honestly my favorite thing about this place is the build your own salad. The ingredients have always been good and theres a great selection. The small is still a GIANT salad so in my opinion you get your moneys worth. The house beer is pretty solid as well.

I went with a couple of friends for lunch, and had an awesome time.The only thing Im only sorry for is not stopping in sooner.I had the Bad Daddy burger, with truffle fries and was extremely satisfied with the taste, and portion size.I highly encourage anyone to stop and have a wonderful time here!

One of the worst food experiences Ive ever had. Ordered a salad from the build-a-salad menu. It was horrible. To begin with, it took over 30 minutes from the time I ordered it until it arrived at my table and the grilled chicken that topped it was so overcooked and dry, I couldnt even cut it with my knife. I refused to eat it and spoke with the manager about it. However, his attitude was very lackadaisical, which made my experience more unpleasant. They took it off my bill and the manager gave me a complementary meal card for a future visit. I left that card right there on the table, as I have absolutely no intention of ever eating there again. Bad Daddys was beyond bad! 😝
Very tasty and I like the variety of choices. I had a turkey burger which was one of the best Ive had. No wait for lunch but the one time we tried to go during dinner there was a 2 hour wait. This might have been because it was new then but could still be the case because it was really good once I finally ate there.
Don’t waste your time or money.TERRIBLE SERVICE.Over cooked burger.NEVER going back here.Our food came out staggered as if it was forgotten about.I had to get up from my patio table and go inside to request silverware and napkins, and then again to request a box and our check, we received our check but no box, I had to request a box again.Waitress and staff had a terrible attitude. They obviously hate their job.

2022-04-11So not all burger joints can deliver. Big burger, no taste. Even with all the condiments this just had no type of seasoning, flavor, nothing. The place is nice. Good place to hang out, watch a game (got outside seating with nice view) and it is worth another shot to try something else on the menu

2021-11-04Hey neighbors, so I picked up my teenager and her 4 friends from Campbell High School today after school and they were in the mood for a good burger, so we decided to try out Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar and what a Horrible experience it was, the general manager does not have the slightest clue as to what customer service/customer satisfaction is nor does he know how to D escalate an unsatisfied customer and what it means to have an establishment in the city of Smyrna. I have lived here my entire life and we pride ourselves on amazing food and excellent customer service. I explained to him that every single one of my 5 burgers were made incorrectly and after being sent back twice I decided to pull onions and bacon off of each one of my daughters friends burgers and customize them myself due to them being super hunger and not wanting to wait for the adjustments. The general manager completely blew off my complaints Nonchalantly and added that he brought extra bacon to the table and he offered to give me mayo packets to go since none of our burgers had mayo added to them per our request. The burgers were also cold due to the back and forthing. No one enjoyed their burgers tonightThe waitress Maddison was super sweet and did her job thoroughly but as far as the cooks and the General Manager Horrible. This was a waste of a $100 in times of COVID. I hope this review saves you from a horrible experience, we won’t be back. They completely ruined our evening.

2021-07-26The food, the drinks, the service and atmosphere were all fantastic! Absolutely loved the spin that they put on standard southern cuisine. I highly recommend the “not your mama’s deviled eggs” and one of their spicy cocktails. If it’s a nice day out definitely take advantage of their rooftop indoor bar and covered patio. Looking forward to my next visit and trying a shake and more menu items!

2022-02-22My wife and I decided to try this place after hearing good things about it. We ordered the fried deviled eggs to start, which was a unique take on deviled eggs. The fry on the eggs while good, changed the texture and took them too far way from what I consider a deviled egg. The menu description promised a spicy filling, but the flavor was flat. The deviled eggs were positioned on a small salad, unfortunately the waitstaff do not bring silverware out unless asked. So we had to wait try the salad. The salad was surprisingly better then the deviled eggs. My wife created a bacon cheeseburger with garlic mayo, and their house made American cheese. Turns our the house made cheese is more a cheese sauce, which wasnt appreciated on the burger. I ordered the Pastrami burger. The flavor was good, but overall the burger was dry. I requested a medium-well done burger, but it was well done causing some of the dryness. The pastrami wasnt super fresh adding to the dryness. My wifes medium well done burger was significantly juicier. We ordered fries and onion rings as sides. We were surprised to learn that burgers do not come with any sides. Their hand-cut fries were so-so, there was no crispness. Weve had better frozen fries. The onion rings were the only redeeming quality from the meal, the fry on them was well done and the onion stayed within the breading when bitten. Overall we left the place feeling meh, and would not return. We would rather return to better burger places, even those that are much further.

2022-06-18We visited Bad Daddys Burger Bar on a Friday night. It was busy but we were able to be immediately seated. We used to have one close to home, so we were glad to find this location. The burgers were so good. Everything was cooked perfectly. I love their special sauce thats served with the tots. Its got a great tangy flavor.

2022-07-01Me and my husband stopped in for a to go order. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice. She answered all questions, made suggestions, and even told us the honest truth. Our food was decent, (black bean burger and tots, Chicken sandwich with Buffalo sauce and sweet potato fries). Will definitely be back to dine in and try other options.
