My truck was broken into this weekend and someone stole my wifes checkbook. Ive been sitting in the parking lot for an hour and a half not allowed to go in. We sat here for 45 minutes until my wife decided just to go in anyway. Shes been inside for another 45 minutes just trying let them know about the checks. She tried calling first and instead of just noting the account that the checks have been stolen they put her on a recording and canceled her debit card which she did not ask them to do. I hate Bank of America.
If zero stars was an option Id give them that. Opened a new account with BOA. Called customer service for information about check hold. Received no customer service or a response besides the check is being rejected (mind you the check written to fund account was perfectly fine). The representatives couldnt tell me why it was being rejected only that it was being rejected. After speaking with a manager she told me the same thing. Customer NO-service should be more like it. Take Clark Howards advice and dont open a BOA account, stick to community credit unions.
Don’t not use this location! The manager is an absolute cruel woman and cares for no one ! We went in there needed information and help- kid you know she refused and told me off ! All because I kept trying to explain things ! Turns out BOA has a history of my issue - billing someone for a safety deposit box for several hundreds of dollars for a deceased relative ! She didn’t even care how wrong it was and told me to screw off
Alert there is a rude and racist worker at this branch. As I stood in line I watched the teller ( older caucasian lady with grey hair) send people of color out of the door one after the other while stating, Im sorry I cant cash that Im sorry you cant deposit that.. I left and went to another branch and they cashed my check with no problem.....and ms Karen I will pray for you, I hope you find a stay at home job or retire.
I am from another city. I came in to cash a check and Karen let me know there was a fee for cashing the check. I asked if she knew where my bank might be? She said behind us walking distance. The honesty and ethics kind of overwhelmed me. In this day and age its about the bottom line. I dont bank with Bank of America, but with tellers like this, It makes you want to. Great experience.
Came in with a couple of checks from an accident claim through gieco. BOA says, even though the checks are dated for today, they wont be in the system until tomorrow- what?!Anyhow, the teller that helped me, Fernanda Taya, went above and beyond, contacting the clearinghouse for verification and cashing my checks. That kind of customer service is hard to find at large banks- Fernanda definitely earned her next raise/bonus.
I love this bank. I drive pretty far once a month to withdrawal money for my grandmother and everytime they are always smiling and helpful. When ever I have questions they get answered in a timely manner. I love the security level of this institution. Even though they know my face,name and color of my car; they still ask for my ID, they still check to make sure nothing in the P.O.A has changed and they still compare my signature. If this bank was closer to my home they would have my business hands down. I love the customer service, I love the security, I love how they dont belittle me when I dont know certain things or how things work, and I could go on forever how much I appreciate this bank and all its done.
People were kind and courteous, but the institutional regulations stink. in order to cash a check from their own bank I had to give two forms of ID, a thumb print, and the check writer was called. I can live with that even though it took half an hour to do. Then they charged me an 8 dollar fee for cashing it. Thats just stupid gouging policy and Id never open an account with them and do that to people I write checks for.
This branch and the entire bank itself is light-years behind in technology and customer service.get with the times.
I would not give this place a one star came in several times over fraud to my account keep getting told it is fix next day same problem the lady I dealt with like she did not ever wo t to bother with. Very disappointed 😞 in the costumer service you get from these people
This location really needs to get their act together we stood in line for 15 minutes why you had 2 teller standing there doing nothing instead of helping the customers. This is why never going to your locations I do everything through ATM because really what’s the point bad customer service .
It’s hit or miss at some branches but at this branch Vivian Schwahl and Jordan Ramiogan are awesome! Was thinking of switching banks, but I think I’ll stay...

Only bank within the area. Only 1-2 bankers no matter how long the line is while others just stand around greeting you. Horrible.
This branch is the reason why were removing 37 personal accounts and 3 major business accounts. This branch is clueless and incompetent. Will NEVER bank with them again

Instead of referring an unhappy customer to a social media person, try picking up the phone and calling your customer.
Joey, their relationship manager, was very professional and friendly throughout my whole visit to the branch. Great customer service!

2022-08-08Horrible customer service. The lead teller, assistant manager or whomever she is, name starts with an F, serves noting but judgement and disrespect each time I visit this location. People are left to wait in line while she flirts with another lead / manager - highly unprofessional. If she cared more about her customers and less about what she and her work candy are ordering for lunch (yes, I stood in line with 9 people deep while she planned a lunch order vs assisting people at 10:45am…) then she would be a better worker. Horrible customer service. I have experienced similar interactions with her over the past few years and have observed she responds well and services one culture of customer with respect but not all. I have closed 2/6 of my accounts with BOA due to the unprofessionalism of her and this branch alone. I have been with BOA for 17 years and will be thrilled once my accounts are closed. Do not reply back to me directing I contact your FB team to share the above statement. Implement long overdue training to your staff, discourage workplace romances and inform your employees they are required to treat all customers the same.

2022-03-28Horrible bank. Literally ATMs always out of cash and super rude people. I Literally went in to use contactless pay on the ATM. No cash so I went to a teller. He first served a lady in front of me she asked for 500$ didnt check her ID or anything. I get up there asking for 40$ and suddenly I need my ID and would have to wait in line again if i went to my car to get it. What? But someone asking for 500$ didnt need to show their ID. Little strange. Would not recommend this branch and if you need a working ATM definitely dont go.

2022-06-23Finally closed out my banking relationship with B of A after 25 years today. Made the mistake of going to the Canton branch where the corporate racial re-education program is in full force. If youre into that, this is the bank for you. If not, try Chase. They still put the customer first and treat you with respect.

2021-12-29Vivian at Riverstone Parkway branch has been an absolute pleasure. I returned back to the US from UK where me my husband and our daughter are starting our lives from scratch. She was excellent and very helpful assisting us with setting up our bank accounts and the today with our credit card application to help build our credit. 2022-03-12I stopped at the Riverstone/CantonGa branch to cash a check. Being a non Account holder I was charged a $8.00 check cashing fee, which I’m fine with. I asked for a receipt for the $8.00 service I PAID for. Darren informed me they don’t issue a recipe for a paid service. He directed me to Sharon she refused to issue me a receipt. It’s illegal in the state of Ga to refuse a receipt for a paid service. Lawyer time.

2021-02-26In Virginia my daughter had problems with this bank. My husband is in process of closing his account at Bank of America here in GaHe has already switched over most of all accounts, but a little in checking.He kept getting over drafts, he talked with the bank. They refused to tell him who was taking money out of his account. Amazing how the tables have turned lately. What is good is evil and what is evil is good. So glad I researched Banks before I transferred all my money to Georgia. Shame on Bank of America. I can think of a better name, and America isnt it. Real Americans take care of each other and watches out for each other.Make your own decision, and always research and word of mouth.Social Media has no business with anyones banking activity. Banking is to be private.And to the other disappointed patrons.Yes, COMMUNITY BANKS. They know how to treat human species equally.

2021-03-03Wouldn’t let me deposit a check into my business account from a homeowner. I have done this at every branch I have ever went to but this fantastic one. The 2.9 star rating they have is very generous. STAY AWAY!
