This store is somewhat like a library. Its big and spacious. The books are spaced out and in an order that makes sense.
Barnes and Nobles should give Walmart lessons on professionalism and how to treat customers because they are on target and Bam, and thats whether you are mailing a book or taking it home! Love you guys
The store is clean (it smells amazing!) and organized. We were greeted and offered help right away upon entering. The cashier took special notice of my daughter’s selections and they had a wonderful conversation. She was very friendly and professional. I also like how they don’t pressure me to join their shopper’s club.
Great environment and friendly staff! Felt amazing sitting in the café with a delicious hot chocolate and an interesting book Ive never heard of before. They give great recommendations on books!
Always nice to go to a book store, browse entire categories of books while deciding what biography/historical work/cookbook/novel you will purchase and take home. Well stocked (of course-its Barnes and Noble), and can always purchase a coffee while perusing the selection. The staff is courteous and helpful, I just wish they had more people on staff because there is often a line of people with questions to be answered at the information desk.
Liking B&N because I really like B&N...just every now & then they dont have what you are looking for. Today was one of those days...couldnt find what I was looking for. But...I could have asked the customer service center for assistancebor gone online... didnt because I was far away from my home city and just decided to check in with the B&N there .

Great customer service support. David did an Awesome job finding a book for my daughter thats specific to her likes. He was full of information that led me to partake in some new books as well. I know all of the staff is always willing and ready to help!

This is a nice store to visit and especially if you want to double dip and pick up a Starbucks drink while youre there. The book selection was nice and the staff is usually helpful too. The star deduction was due to the fact that the restroom ventilation was lacking...it was very stuffy in there :-( The bathrooms were clean, I didnt see anything out the way, just stuffy.

After asking an employee for help in locating a specific type of book, we were told, We are not going to have a book like that...so my husband shows her on his cell that they do. When they find it....she says, Yay, we found it! like she was having her own personal party...I would give a higher score if we didnt have to pretty much do the employees job ...or nudge her to do it...

I like BN, its a great place to go read and find small gifts. My visit was during lunch on a Thursday. Employees were friendly and willing to help customers find what they needed.For those who are concerned, there is a table with hand sanitizer and masks as you walk in the door.
Great store. I am a book lover and this is complete store. It is reflecting the changes we see in published media.....manga, graphic novels, movie books, coffee, cookies and wi-fi.....all a good thing.....still plenty of books for any interest....make it a regular stop.

I freaking love this place. They are clean and have such sweet and respectful employees. Just ask politely if you need anything because they are busy running orders and organizing the products. Im a total bookworm and even if I dont buy things from here all the time i still find books over everything I need especially for school. Their kids area is really nice and all together this store has everything you would ever need that revolves around books, music, movies, coffee and even toys. Worth the visit and good as gifts. I bought planners for college and books for my siblings. But my entire library is filled to the brim with books from here.

Really nice environment and they always have a wide variety of books, they always have something I want. Normal books are very expensive here but a lot of classics or philosophy books are the cheap but reliable Barnes and Noble Classic editions which usually cost like 10 bucks no matter the size or title.

Barnes & Noble is my favorite place. Wherever I work or relocate, I always stop by Barnes and Noble to improve my reading and my knowledge.This store in Columbus is nice. Clean and well-organized.Employees are very friendly and helpful. Customer Service is outstanding. They know what they have in store and give me recommendation I will about the topic Im interested in as well. At the counter, Anna is very polite and friendly. I have seen a lot of rude and impolite employees/ staff here in Columbus but not in this store.Some of their books are pricey if compared to Amazon. However, I cannot wait to read the book to enhance my knowledge, so I accept the prices. I enjoyed reading books while having a cup of coffee in the store.I definitely come back this store.

I normally have a great experience in Barnes & Nobles but today was the worst. The gentleman at the counter when paying for my food, first snatched my money from me and then when I asked for a bag he goes to ask Do you really need one? I always thought items would be placed in a bag unless asked not to but at Barnes & Nobles you now have to ask for one. I really miss LIFEWAY I got much better customer service and experience. I guess I will guess I must find a much friendlier place to get my family books.
The staff are friendly and helpful. On one occasion, a worker spent a half hour helping me look for a book that wasnt where it was suppose to be. We ultimately found it across the store in a completely different section/category (most likely due to a customer choosing to ditch it). The atmosphere is great and I love casually browsing because the store feels so inviting.

This is one of my favorite stores. Books categorized in relevant sections and staff is happy to help you locate any book relating to the subject youre interested in. Large magazine section next to the Cafe. Prices, especially for food are too high though. Come for the books, stay for the coffee thats how they get you. Cool place. Relaxing atmosphere.

The sales girl was rude and too preoccupied to help me. Actually told me my request would take a while and she had other customers to wait on. All the while talking to someone through her ear piece. Businesss now a days think they are doing a favor by allowing me to spend my money. I guess that is way amazon is a billion dollar business. By the way, amazon had exactly what I needed.

Massive store with thousands of books from Anthropology to How to grow your own garden. Very friendly staff and moderately clean. Very easy to spend a few hours in here just browsing or reading. Plus a small children area for them to run around and play.

Large selection of music and movies too. Starbucks inside. I was even able to find books from lesser known authors as well without having to order them. Only downside was for authors with longer running series I wasnt able to find about half the books. They would only have first couple and last couple.
The place was nice 2nd time visiting. They didnt have what I was looking for. The help was a little unaware of the book I was looking for( Bibles Commetary) with so many books I cant hold that against her, although she did direct me to the correct area.It was a learning experience a d Ill visit again.

I love this Barnes and Noble especially because the staff is always warm and welcoming. They are incredibly helpful at the Information section as well. They are always recommending me something new based off my previous reads and they get it right every time. The store is always clean and the tables are updated regularly. I drive 35 minutes twice monthly to buy books here.

Very nice book store. Selection was great and the store itself was roomy and well laid out. This store had lots of places to sit and look at the books while deciding. The coffee shop was busy, which suggests quality coffee and snacks. In short, this was the way meant for people to shop for books and magazines.
Always a great place to go. They had a buy 2 get 1 free sale on Viz anime and had the selections stocked well enough that I was able to pick up some consecutive books in different series. Always appreciated when the sale items are in stock.
Nice quiet place if you want the old bookstore experience. They have a good selection of books. You can pick one and find a comfy seat if you want to read a little to see if you like it. There is a Starbucks if you like to have a drink while you read. I appreciate the teacher discount.
Me and my best friend were trying to find a book to read together and we found that we had very different tastes in books. We met the sweetest worker who was trying her best to find us a book to share. She was not giving up no matter how hard the job was. And I am so sorry that I did not get her name but if you read this thank you.
Still good old B&N. But their selection has dropped dramatically. Understood because of Covid, but finding sequels but not the first books means you are less likely to buy.
They have an awesome selection of books and more. The staff is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about their products. We were shopping for my wifes birthday, and she couldnt have been more pleased.

Ordered a bunch of books from 1 of my favorite authors who passed away a few years back and her books are going out of print I was able to get all but 1 ,and 1 of the associates told me of a used book site where I was able to find it and now I have the whole set .. so much thanks B&N.
Very nice, clean store. Completely satisfied with almost everything. Only complaint is overhearing an associate discussing their political views. In todays totally toxic political environment, it would be better to keep your views out of the workplace. If he had been discussing a particular book or author, I could understand; but to be discussing politically leaning talk shows and how could certain idiots be brought in as guests-totally inappropriate with customers in ears reach.
I LOVE Barnes and Noble bookstores!! It is so sad that people read on “devices” and not with a real book in their hands! I absolutely love wandering around the store to see what’s on sale, little odd things you won’t find elsewhere, and of course the perfect book that I was looking for. And coffee to boot! I have always loved book stores and libraries! I buy &, order many books. But, I also pick up gifts, too. Their magazine area is fabulous! There is a snack bar with tea, cold or hot, coffees, healthy drinks and more. One can come, sip something warm and sit and read. I like their card, paper, pen area. My Izipizis came from here: my reading glasses. If you are looking for something special, theyll order it. Ive ordered the same book 3 times. I,ve picked up childrens books, a pretty sofa quilt, a calligraphy set, two address books and some fancy coffee already, for Christmas gifts. If you like books, etc. they do have it all.

From the moment I walked in the employees kept coming up to me asking if I needed help. Now this wouldnt have been an issue if it wasnt so much. Three different employees all of them asking at least twice. Can I just look through the books and enjoy myself without someone trying to talk to me about every book I glance at?

I love Barnes and Noble in general, but if you look up at the vents and surrounding ceiling tiles in this store, they are covered in mold! It is especially bad back in the Children’s section. I was only in there 5 minutes before my eyes started to itch and water. Unfortunately, I had to leave.

The Starbucks barista was less than accommodating when asked to validate a coupon for a free cookie that was received just before a purchase. A free cookie is not the end of the world but the principle behind the interaction reeked of horrible customer service. The actual book store staff was great, the Starbucks folks just need a refresher on customer service.
Everyone was so nice and helpful 😊I was needing certain books for my daughters Reading Bowl Competition and the sales associates were so nice and patient with me showing where the books were located. They told me about the cafe and how to save money by purchasing the membership card and I did!😊I will shop again very soon!
Checkout person chatted too much even though she had a line of customers waiting. She needs to.learn to reduce her chatting when customers are waiting. I almost left my purchases on the counter.
Shamed my mom and kicked her out for not wearing a mask. My mom already had coronavirus. She even donated her anybodies for the vaccine. A store filled with books using no Science or even combine sense. She was super ignorant and rude.

My family love this place! We probably go once a week. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We visit so much that we signed up for the reward card, and I like that we can save 10% on Starbucks purchases in the store!

Barnes & Nobles is a fun book store. There are so many magazines and books in a great variety of interests. The choice of books covers every age group and gender. It is a wonderland of new information and imaginitive stories. I love the books on crafts, cooking, herbs, gardening, homesteading, cooking, DIY home improvement, science, history, travel, history and more! Take your books and magazines you are considering to purchase to the cafe and really browse through them.
This place is like the best book store I ever been too. They have just about anything you want to read Im big for manga and language books. But other then that its a really nice place to be. If you need help the works are always welcoming to give you some help. If they do not have the book on the shelfs they will look online for you. And everything is always kept tidy and clean.
I love the selection of books here but dont go in and expect help fast or getting in and out fast. All the employees are helping people and there are usually people following them waiting on their turn for help. The staff here works really hard.

I went in looking for a gift for my Dad for Fathers Day and left with gifts for my Dad, gifts for a friend, and a little something for myself! Without the help of the amazingly knowledgeable customer service rep, I wouldve never known they offered some things I thought I would have to order online or go to Atlanta for. The manager, Abbey, is an amazing person as well and when she sees ne shopping is always sure to say Hi!
Its a Barnes and Noble. Im not sure what there is to review. Its clean, it has the books, the kids section, the cafe, the depressing music and movies section, a pretty cool selection of indie board and card games (which earns it a fourth star, though I doubt thats unique to Columbus Park Crossing), and the predictable rigamarole over rewards club membership at checkout.Its Barnes and Noble. Its... you know, its fine.
I am so happy for all the books, manga, and so many things I want from Barnes and Noble that I can keep going back there and get so much experience and it feels like when I was there, my own imagination took over when I get to read from my mangas like I was there or even a part of it myself.
I was disappointed they had a table up advertising and on the table was a rabbit, it said if you made a purchase you could get rabbit for a certain price when I went to pay they said no its the book on the table, then why didnt it say book, it was false advertising brought to managers attention they said they would fix looked before I left they didnt change anything

I found the copy of the book I was searching for thanks to the cheerful employee and could easily navigate through, read & research. I miss the Barnes & Noble in my hometown of Lakeland FL. Im so glad this one was here while on my vacation its one of my favorite go tos & always will be.

The store is very clean and friendly. The Starbucks inside the store is not. Two girls were working when I went in for a coffee on 31st July 2016 at 7pm. They were spending most of thier time chatting and not helping customers. They coffee area was also dirty and not being taken care of. It looked like no one had cleaned the counter where you get sugar in hours. A manager needs to enforce some standards to these workers.

One of my sons is 20 months and I love to take him to Barnes and Nobles. They have a train table complete with Thomas the Trains to play with. I can shop in the childrens section and my son can still be within eyeshot of being around the train table playing. Two thumbs up. 👍

I love love love going here. It is so much bigger than the BAM in my town. Sometimes I drive here every two weeks to check out discounted books and other promos. This is my main source for buying manga in case if my parents forbid me to buy them online.

Extremely friendly staff at both the coffee shop (internal Starbucks) and the bookstore. Staffing was low so wait times ebbed and flowed but the courtesy outweighed any inconvenience from a short wait.

I love this Barnes&Noble. They have a wide variety of genres and a huge selection of each to choose from. The customer service is also fantastic.
I love the large kids section here and its really easy to find a gift for anyone. Having a Starbucks inside is a plus too
Abby, the manager, is rude. We’ll be shopping small for our books in Columbus. Judy Bugs is wonderful.

Staff was very helpful finding my mother a book she wanted. They even went to the back to get it out of a box that had not been put on the shelves yet.

Aside from the prices of the books its a decent place to go, its fairly big and has a good magazine selection.The restrooms usually could use some work though.

I called ahead to see if a book I wanted was in stock. When I arrived the staff had my book ready, showed me to another item I needed and then wrapped my items even though the wrapping is normally done by volunteers, not staff.
I love books. This place has literally thousands of them. Great atmosphere, helpful staff.
Christmas sales have been great. Good helpful staff. Ordinarily a little pricey on some stuff but inventory is plentiful.
Salespeople were very helpful. Went in knowing I needed a book that was in a series and the authors name sounded like.......and they found exactly what I was looking for!

We were able to easily locate the material needed for my daughters summer reading assignment and enjoyed browsing the other interesting and well-presented displays. I just always love strolling around the bookstore! Service was friendly and helpful.

2021-05-19Had a delightful time there with my little granddaughter, looking at books and plush animals. Bought some books for my grandsons birthday. My older granddaughter got some coffee and pastry, sitting in the cafe area while on her computer. Very pleasant atmosphere, staff friendly and helpful. We love our excursions to Barnes and Nobles!

2022-05-15I come here at least once a month, only because I go to the library more, to buy a 📖 or 2 on things I am interested in. Religious 📘, 🎨 & crafts & DIY books 📚 , educational reads, games, STEM toys, etc. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to learn. Kid friendly; mine are always wanting to buy 📙 and I cant say no, if it is something that will help them grow.

2022-06-27I came to exchange a book set because one of the books have several pages torn and the back cover had a hole in it. They were able to exchange it and after I decided to walk around the store where I listened to an employee telling another employee that someone had just returned the box set she had in her hands (the one I had just exchanged) because it had a “tiny dent”. She began to go on and say that I was being ridiculous even though SEVERAL pages were torn. It’s ridiculous that employees were talking badly about a customer who was literally still in the store walking around. Really disgusting behavior. Would not recommend going to this location.

2022-04-21I love books, so this place is like a candy store for me! Just wish they werent so expensive so I could splurge more often. I like the kids corner in the back, and the coffee (starbucks) in the front.
