Took a tractor tire in for repair, picked it up a little later to find out that once I got home tire was flat again. Returned tire next day and place took care of it the right way this time. Customer service was very good, welcoming of customers was awesome! Tire issues? Go to Barnes!

I have been a Barnes Tire customer for 28 years. They have always been exceptionally honest and fair with my familys automobile service and routine maintenance needs. A locally owned and operated family business like theirs is a a rarity today. I couldnt image trusting anyone more than I trust them to keep our trucks and cars in tip-top shape.
Locally owned, great tire shop. Conveniently located with professional staff. Ive had them do suspension work and tires on several vehicles (even a patch to a lawnmower tire). I need to have a shop that I can trust to do the job right. Barnes is that shop.

We used Barnes Tire & Service for the first time yesterday, they came highly recommend. We called and the lady said that they were busy, but if we could drop our car off they would get to it after lunch. So we dropped off right before lunch and they said they would call when ready, we told them that we wanted synthetic oil and the lady asked if we wanted our tires rotated, said it was free and I said yes cuz they havent been rotated since I bougth them amd it was well past the time to do it. Well they dont call until almost 5 and my husband was in class so we said that would have to pick up this morning, they said fine and told my husband the price was $72, but we thought ok cuz we get syntheic oil and know that at Sears it was $85. Well when go to pick up we find out that no they didnt use syntheic oil, just an oil blend and no they didnt rotate the tires because they deamed that the tires were good and didnt need to be rotated...WHAT? So, we paid $72 for an oil blend!! And you dont you rotate the tires to keep them good and not have worn spots!!! I drive a lot between here ans SC, we are about to leave tomorrow driving to Florida, thats why we rotate the tires!! This place just riped us off, I will never go back.

Called ahead asking for a tire size and told they have it on stock showed up put in a waiting list for over an hour and was the only person there... after an hour I asked how much more and his answer was about an hour before we can get to replace your tire. Thank god there are other tire shops nearby for cheaper and they do a better job in 15min
I called the day before for an appointment for a tire patch. When I arrived on time the owner didnt seem to care I had an appointment and took all the info over again. He told me to have a seat and it would take about an hour. An hour later my truck was still sitting out front and the person waiting with me had been there twenty minutes before my arrival for the same issue, and her car was still in the lot as well. I asked the owner what the status of the wait was, as I had to pick up my kids soon, and he said let me check and stepped in the back. He came back out and said Its still gonna be awhile and just handed me my keys. No So sorry, sir, we really got backed up today or anything. I just kinda stared at him incredulously for a moment and then just walked out. He ignored me and said not another word. If an appointment is meaningless, why did they even take one? Rude! Plus the waiting area was hot and only a few crummy chairs. I went to Duckworth the next day and was in and out in thirty minutes and enjoyed big comfy chairs and free Wi-Fi. I love supporting local business but not when my time isnt appreciated. Go see Martin at Duckworth instead!!!

Not good. Fist off the service writer seemed to have no idea where sticky weights went on a wheel. Then the owner said Too Bad when I mentioned that was my Saab in the lot. These were perfect wheels and I wanted to keep the that way. I went back to remind the tech the tires were directional and to use a torque wrench to 82 Lbs. He said he didnt have a t wrench of a T stick but he would look for one. Car came out and the wheels were filthy, the sticky glue was not removed and the removal and install damaged the wheels and the tires were over inflated by 8 Lbs. Mounting was 100.00. Tech seems very annoyed I was telling him what I wanted. I should have left when the owner insulted my car.
These guys are awesome. Had to special order my tires, and did not charge me for shipping. Had me in and out the door in no time at all. Thank you for all your help.

2022-02-11First time here after just moving to area. A great business and very well run. Had a tire fixed and even though they were super busy they fit me in. A lot of bays and great area in front to wait if needed. Friendly staff and very efficient. Thank you!

2022-05-20These guys are great. Bought a trailer from them when we first moved down. Great trailer. Just returned from having them mount tires on wheels purchased at Summit. They did a great job and had it back to me quick. Honest and straight up. Fully recommend.

They have done an excellent job with all cars I’ve taken there and most recently saved me hundreds of dollars patching a tire on my tesla, when all other places in town have me a blanket statement of, “Tesla tires cannot be repaired” which is not true at all.So thank you Barnes family and business for taking care of my family and I

2022-01-13Day of the NCAA Championship Game 2022. 20 minutes to closing. I picked up a screw in my tread close to the sidewall and needed it plugged. Two places had already turned me away. Not Barnes! I’m sure they wanted to get home to the game as much as I did, but they stayed and fixed my tire. A few minutes past closing time they had me on the road again. Amazing service at a great price! Guess who gets my business from now on?

2021-12-09Only place that could mount my tires when I brought it in without an appointment so I do appreciate that. But at $50/tire to be mounted/balanced for a total of $200 it’s HARD not to think I got scammed. Online says the average is $15-45. Most I’ve ever paid before is $25/tire at a Motorsports shop… just keep that in mind when you get a quote.

2021-07-09Great people, service as promised. Felt I was treated fairly, was not shopping for lowest price but believe I also got a very fair deal. This last year has been hard on everyone, have used several other dealers, not one compares to Barnes Tire, no my only tire store.

2021-07-30I made an appointment a week ahead to get some custom wheels put on my truck. It was a simple swap wheels and put my tires on the new rims. My truck was on the rack at 8:15am where it stayed for til almost 3pm. I asked the guy at the counter about noon. He said you see it up in the air Theyre working on it as fast as they can. So I cancelled my afternoon Dr. appointment. Just seemed like I was a REALLY low priority and I wont be back.

2021-02-17I did not get the fellows name, but he was so kind to me. I asked if they had good used tires, and he replied jokingly, we have new ones. As the story goes he found my size tire, had it mounted and charged me hardly anything! The service wasSuperb and his kindness was so overwhelming! Thank you, Barnes tire and auto!🥰❤

2021-07-19If I could leave zero stars I would. My car is there now-I just called to check the status of it, since it has been there since this morning. The man that answered told me it had just gotten there (which is not true, because I met roadside assistance/Progressive this morning and they towed it straight there) and then he said they were slammed and hung up on me. Very unprofessional and uncalled for. $130 for a tire and I will not go back.
