Ive been a resident here since 2008 and I have to say, things can be a lot better as it relates to timely maintenance and for the amenities that are offered only certain parts of the year. I for one, was not at all happy with the increase of rent that recently occurred as Im sure many longtime residents would agree as well. I recently met the new property manager Angela in the month of February 2022 and during our conversation, she said there would be a lot of changes and I may even see new faces in the leasing office. She also asked if I could give a review online in reference to my experience. My response to her was that I would definitely give a review on one leasing agent that I feel is very deserving of an excellent five-star review. Although Im not happy about the rent increase here and the current timeline of maintenance resolving things, I honestly have to say Camille has definitely gone out of her way to make my time here as pleasant as possible. Shes always willing to assist and is always professional & nice. During my transition to my new place on site, she made sure all matters were taken care of prior to my new lease starting. She even followed up with me on her off day to ensure my washer/dryer were disconnected in my old place as well as making sure I was able to pick up my new keys prior to the leasing office opening the day of my move. By far, Camille is the BEST leasing agent Ive ever encountered. It would be a sad state of affairs if she leaves. She should definitely be promoted to property manager or assistant property manager. I hope the corporate office sees this review because CAMILLE is a rock star at the leasing office and deserves a promotion based on her professionalism and overall customer service.
Honestly, I just moved from this complex during COVID-19 after living there for 2 years, and they did nothing to help me the whole time. I paid my rent on time every month I lived there. They offered nothing to the residents during this pandemic while, except for charged me an outrageous amount when I moved out and sent me to collections while I was still trying to resolve the amount with corporate because management did not care at all. I lived here for 2 years and all of my appliances were old in the newly renovated apt and they became nonfunctional throughout my stay. My refrigerator was broken for months, as my stove face fell off from bad/worn screws on the appliances. The unit I had had multiple nonworking cable ports too. They did NOTHING to compensate my inconveniences. They truly did not care and did the bare minimum. I do not recommend this complex. WAY OVER PRICED for what you get. The management and maintenance staff do not care. This is a picture of what my oven looked like for MONTHS, while they were re-ordering a part.
We have lived here for 3 and a half months. I have had a great experience so far! The staff is extremely helpful and kind. Camille always answers all of my questions and/concerns. I loved working with her when it came to getting our place! The maintenance team is great and quick to respond. It’s a quiet apartment neighborhood. So far, I love it here!
I previously had a really positive review because I have found some of the staff to be incredibly helpful like Sierra and josh however I have been renting here for over a year and my satisfaction has gone down. My rent was increased by almost 12% however the grounds are not well maintained and neither are the amenities. Some of the gym equipment is often broken and just recently there were residents smoking in the gym and others engaging in lewd activity in the women’s bathroom. Which makes me feel uncomfortable as a female to use an amenity I pay for. Thankfully the courtesy officer that responded was very helpful. We also are constantly getting solicited by random businesses despite there being a sign at the gate saying not soliciting.
The maintenance team is amazing! Mitchell came to change out our kitchen light and filters and did so quickly and was so pleasant. He also helped us this evening within minutes on a Friday before a three day weekend to replace a broken door knob on our front door! Thanks Mitchell! Again, he was super friendly and the replacement was completed within minutes of me calling. You are appreciated! The head of maintenance is also fantastic. He helped us one weekend evening enter our apartment when he was working in trash area. He cheerfully assisted us and seemed happy to do so . Bravo to the entire team!
Been here for two years now and I truly have enjoyed my experience here. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. At first I would have issues with getting a maintenance person to my apartment but now with the new changes, things have been more smooth. Mitchell has been a great maintenance team member. He gets the job done!
I had an issue with the water temperature of my shower not getting hot. The maintenance guys, Josh and Dana were helpful with explaining to me what the issue was and able to complete the job in a couple of hours. Thank god for them because now I have hot water in the shower. They even told me he would clean up the mess they made on the floor. Anytime I need something fixed, I will try and request these two men!
Josh is so awesome! He always has such a positive attitude and goes above and beyond! He throughly explained to me what he did and made sure I was happy with everything! He’s great! The maintenance team as a whole is top tier! Mitchell has also helped me a couple of times & is such a pleasure. He always stops to say hello when I see him in the community! Having an amazing maintenance team where you live is very comforting!
I’ve been living here for a few months and I couldn’t be happier with the appearance and upkeep of the property and the staff. Sierra was the one that helped me with the application process with everything happening I was very skeptical about moving into an apartment with only being able to see things virtually but everything was perfect. And maintenance is friendly and quick. I’ve only had to put in 2 request so far and they were fairly simple fixes. Recently Josh came and he was friendly and got the job done. All of my guest come and are blown away from the size of the apartments and how nice everything looks. Glad to call this home ☺️
My partner and I moved in over the summer and have nothing but a positive experience here. The complex is kept clean, the leasing office is easy to reach, and the maintenance folk (shout out to Mitchell for replacing the air filter and helping me with my key) have always been kind and courteous while visiting the apartment.
Had a really great experience living here. Sierra was the only leasing agent we ever dealt with, but she was amazing every single time. She seemed super organized, great at communication, made everything flow smoothly, super helpful and just a nice person. Anytime we had something come up she fixed it immediately. We only had to call maintenance once, but they were here quickly (even after hours) and fixed the issue within minutes. Everythings clean, neighbors are quiet and nice, common areas are kept up well. Ive had bad experiences at big apartment complexes before, but Id for sure live here again. No complaints!
I have been living here for 4+ years. I like this complex and its location. I had a problem with the AC yesterday and called the office. Mitchell, who is one of the helpful team (maintenance)members showed up immediately. He answered my questions regarding the issue and fixed it. Whenever we have maintenance issue he shows up full of energy. He greets us whenever he sees us. 5 stars for him. And Camille at the office was very helpful when we first came to check apartments here. She made sure to answer all our questions clearly. 5 starts for her as well.
Our family has lived here for several years and happily call Bell Kennesaw Mountain our home. The office staff is very prompt but our favorite is Camille. She is SO kind and SO understanding every single time we call the office. She is a blessing to so many residents, I think we can all agree she is the community favorite!! The maintenance team also does an excellent job. Mitchell and Josh are professional and informative. They respect our home and are very compliant with all COVID safety measures.--Wallace Family--
Updated review November 2021- I love this place! Great community and great staff. The only reason I moved out is because I was promoted and transferred to Chicago, IL. I work from home and this was always a quiet and safe place to live. Excellent location 5 min to Whole Foods, Publix, and other businesses. Literally 10 min to Cumberland Mall and the Kennesaw Battlefield Park, 3 miles to Kennesaw University. Thanks Mitchel for a good service this week! The maintenance team is always polite and helpful 😊
My husband and I love Bell Kennesaw. The place is quite, safe, and beautiful. The people that lease and maintain the property are all so kind. Josh, one of the maintenance men, has helped us out multiple times. Josh is very kind and knowledgeable, no problem is too small or insignificant. We appreciate this community and the people who work here.
Mitchell was a huge help when our garbage disposal was clogged, he came and fixed it and it took him no time at all. He was friendly and respectful of our property and very efficient. We really appreciated it! He has also helped us at times before, and he is a great help every time.
The maintenance staff in Bell Kennesaw Apts is outstanding to say the less. Josh is always respectful, attentive to details and runs the extra mile to make tenants happy. Ray is as well a hard worker and always with a positive attitude. Mitchell is also very fast in response to residents need and always with a good sense of humor. The maintenance staff is 5 star!
Mitchell and the whole maintenance crew at Bell of Kennesaw have given outstanding service to my family for over 5 years. Mitchell is highly skilled at service work and always timely and kind. As a bonus, he goes out of his way to wave and be welcoming to all the residents whenever he is out and about driving from one task tothe next. Beyond simply making repairs he is a real part of the community.
Thank goodness for Josh! Josh is the type of person that comes to service one thing, but also checks to make sure everything else is working before he goes. This week he came to replace my filters and also opened my valves so my heat would circulate better. I had been meaning to put in a request for that, but Josh already took care of it on his own! Any maintenance requests I’ve had have always been taken care of and it’s so appreciated.
I really enjoyed living here. Extremely nice apartments. Maintenance requests have always been taken care of in a timely manner. Everyone who works in the office is super helpful. Pool is gorgeous. I’ve always felt safe going on walks through the complex as well. I would recommend better signage at the gate that states “one car each time” because people try to follow in and end up breaking the gate quite often, then it takes awhile to get fixed. There is signs posted but they are on the gate themselves and not visible when it is open which is when it needs to be seen.
Josh recently finished my maintenance request to replace the weather stripping for the front door of my apartment. I appreciate the quick response time and the attention to detail to ensure all exposed cracks were sealed properly. Also, he didnt mind taking the time to give the ice maker in my fridge a quick fix by resetting the water pump fixture. Thanks again, Josh!
Peaceful, quiet, nature /preservation of trees, walkable community, highly responsive staff, beautiful layout, many options - including spacious townhomes with 2 car garage. This might sound like a commercial but its an accurate description.A+ that all calls and email are promptly returned. . BKM has excellent administrative & maintenance construct ~ you get what you pay for.A++ Maintenance with great follow-up, quick response, respecting my entry requests and leaving my home as clean as they find it.Mitch has delivered top notch service for years - always timely, thorough & professional. Thank you! Thanks BELL for excellent navigation during the pandemic. 👍🏽
Mitchell was very quick and efficient when he came to do the preventative maintenance last week. He even gave a recommendation if things changed because of COVID. He’s always helped with other problems when I first moved into my apartment 1.5 years ago! Thank you for all you do! Great Maintenance Team!!
I’ve lived in this complex for 6 years. There have been a lot of improvements over the years. My 5 stars goes to Mitchell in maintenance. He has helped me numerous times and even helped when he was about to be leaving for the day. He’s always kind and professional. It’s nice to have people who take care of the complex that you can really trust.
Ive lived in two different apartments at Bell Kennesaw Mountain and they have both been pretty nice. Yes, things happen such as AC issues, youll find a bug here and there, the water heater might break, but youll get these issues everywhere you go. When/IF something happens, call maintenance and they will put your issue on a priority list and they will take care of you. Everyone is very nice here and they are all very willing to help. They have onsite police to keep an eye on things if you need them, they have an after hours service that is helpful, the new renovations are beautiful, the pool is always clean and nice, the tennis court is always clean. It is a quiet community and its in a perfect location!
They wouldnt let us resign our lease during a global pandemic because we didnt meet the requirements after we had already lived there for a year with no infractions and paid rent on in full on time every time. They also said they contacted our employer to confirm how much we make per year, but we asked our boss and they never got a call. Shady company, roomy apartments though
I have been living here going on 9 years. It is very quiet here. It has been a lot of changes in management and maintenance staff. Since Hollie has taken over she has made so many positive changes and her maintaince crew are very good. They keep it clean. The office staff are very helpful when you call with a problem. Camia has been in the office almost as long as i have lived here she is my favorite agent .Hollie has made the property appearance much better all apartment painted outside new roofs paved parking lots. Outdoor kitchen.that is just a few things she has done in a short time that she has been property manager. Hoilie will talk to you if you want to talk or meet with her other managers in the past would not talk to you they only want you to pass messages thru the leasing agent. I like that hollow has a more personal touch toward the residents. I dont think anyone will be disappointed moving here now they have a great staff now.
The property manager, Hollie is so wonderful and pleasant to speak with. She always has a positive attitude and truly takes her residents and property s safety as her first priority. Hollie and all of the staff have unmatched kindness and are always going the extra mile to take care of her residents and property! This property could not come more highly recommended!
Josh was amazing with fixing all of me and my husbands maintenance request ! And didn’t just come in and fix everything he explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. So helpful and friendly ! Also my husband and I have been living here since March 2020 and the staff are friendly and always willing to help!
I write this message knowing it may be ignored and that’s ok. Bell Kennesaw Apartments needs new processes in place to mitigate the unethical displacement of families.I’ve been renting for almost 2 years without missing a month even with the rent increases during the pandemic. I switch to a month to month lease because I was in the process of building a home and was given a estimated closing period between January and March.I gave the leasing office a notice of when will be my last day well in advance for March 9, 2021. COVID has really thrown off the building process and therefore the dates had also been affected. I then requested the vacate date be changed to March 31,2021 due to the closing date being pushed out.I was given originally an acknowledgment of vacate with instructions to simply contact the leasing office to cancel or adjust my dates and Bell Kennesaw will accommodate my request. No where in this document does it states that my request would be contingent on a pre-lease situation.I was given the clear to close by the underwriter and escrow team with my builder who gave me a date of April 22, 2021. (Another delay)Leasing office told me my rental was already pre-leased and was basically given the, “oh well that’s your problem not ours treatment.”I’ve reached out to corporate who at first sounded as though they wanted to help, but I quickly realized they were just passing the torch back to Bell Kennesaw.I made it very clear to the leasing office of my current situation regarding the fluid like process with my closing. This could have been easily avoided if I knew in writing that once I gave the notice I was susceptible of not being allowed to stay if my plans changed. If the leasing office could have simply given me a common courtesy email or call advising me that my unit was actively being considered to be pre-lease soon and verified wether my closing or situation has changed. My last day on my lease is March 31, 2021 and I will more than likely be in a hotel room waiting for my home to be finished. I have two elementary age kids with one who may have to celebrate his birthday (4/7) in a hotel.I was given only one option which was to sign a 3 month lease when I literally only need 2-3 more weeks. This shouldn’t happen to anyone so I hope this letter helps ensure the next family is spared.
I absolutely love these apartments! if you ever have any problems, theyre super quick and nice about it. construction flows nicely, and maintenance is wonderful- Josh in particular is great! Tatum on staff has been so accessible and helpful with anything ive needed so far! other residents here are friendly and quiet, too. will be living here for awhile👍🏼
Bell (formerly mountain park) has been my home for almost 2 years now. I have truly loved living here and I am only moving to get a more equal work commute for my boyfriend and I. I have lived in both a two bedroom apartment and a two bedroom townhouse and this review is COMPLETELY honest. The new management under Bell has been an improvement over the previous owners. I feel they do an excellent job keeping residents involved in projects, dates, and social events. They are friendly and easy to get a hold of, but don’t bother you unnecessarily. Tatum is quick to get things done and is assisting in my move out and has been very helpful along the way.The pros:Beautiful pool and outdoor space, never too crowded!Excellent pest management. Seriously I have never seen a cockroach in my house OR garage which is remarkable. And if there is a problem, they come fix it swiftly.Maintenance (Mitchell!) is the man. He’s overworked but has the knowhow to fix anything.Management let’s you mind your own. They are never coming into my unit unnecessarily and don’t contact you unless necessary. They don’t nit pick on charges and are easy to work with.MOST people are excellent about picking up after pets, but management keeps an eye out with reminders. The units are beautiful and you can’t beat a wood burning fireplace!SAFETY! I feel safe no matter what. It is well lit and I enjoy walking my dog at night and never have felt unsafe.Proximity to the mountain! I frequently walk/run up the the mountain with my dog and it’s wonderful to be walking distance from Publix and the mountain. The cons (not many):The price. The price increases in kennesaw as a whole are leading me to move elsewhere, but at Bell you get what you pay for: a well maintained, safe, friendly complex.Construction on old 41 has made the terrible traffichorrendous, but again, beautiful and safe.Unit renovations: I did have a pipe burst in my laundry room that left the lower floor carpet soaked through, but they were quick to clean up and hopefully they are not charging me for the carpet, as it was a unit fault. They are working to replace these in all units!Overall, if you can afford it I would recommend living here. Anyone who leaves a bad review probably isn’t a great tenant because I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my two years here without issue.
I love living here! I am a college student and it is so close to the KSU campus! The apartment was very clean when I moved in and everything looked brand new. The maintenance guys are very nice and will do anything upon request. The front office staff Camille and Nate are some of the nicest people you will talk to and are very helpful. The on site car wash is very handy as well as the laundry facilities they offer too. I am excited to use the pool amenities once it warms up and maybe check out the awesome gym in the clubhouse too. I would consider this luxury living for a great price. I will definitely be renewing my lease here.
We just booked a corporate lease at Bell Kennesaw Mountain and have had the pleasure of working with Shanice John. She has been wonderful to work with and made the leasing process a breeze. She also went above and beyond with her customer service and assisted with little requests made by for our guest. Great service! Hope to work with her again.
I have been at Mountain Park Estates since September, 2015 having moved here after selling a house. I can say that the 2BR, 2.5 BA apartment is a fantastic apartment and I do miss my house at all. The rooms are large, very clean, and the amenities are great. The kitchen is complete with fridge, stove, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. You couldnt ask for me. Even the laundry room area is very large with more than enough room for a full size washer and dryer and additional storage. I love the walk-in closets in both bedrooms and the built-in cabinets/book shelves/TV area in the living room is great. The bathrooms are well-appointed and large for apartment living. My dog loves the small dog park and I often take advantage of the car wash/vacuum area available to residents. Finally, the staff is awesome. Maintenance is available when needed and the sales/support staff are very helpful. All-in-all, this has been a great rental experience.
I recently moved to Kennesaw and am pleasantly surprised with my new home away from home. From the moment I drove onto the premises, I was warmly welcomed and all of my questions asked. To continue to touch on the staff- they are consistently pleasant, receptive, and urgent with the processing of any needed changes. My room mate and I always commenting how nice our interactions are with those who help us out.I love the facilities. Personally, it offers everything I could ask for: gated community, decent fitness center, upkeep is very good, parking always available, and cool perks like car washing location and business center and pool that Im stoked to use in the spring! We love our apartment. It is spacious, lets a lot of natural lighting in, and really feels comfortable. I loved my garden tub!I highly recommend this complex for ease of travel, location to every material thing you could need, great service, and beautiful living spaces!
I absolutely love this apartment complex! The apartments themselves are great but what has really stood out to me is the management team. They do a great job of communicating and check in on you after any maintenance repair to make sure things are still going good - -this is something I have never had before. The complex feels safe and has great landscaping which makes it a joy to walk around. The noise level is very quiet all day especially nights that I forget that I am living in an apartment complex. I have been living here since May 2017 and have loved every minute!
It is like moving into a Chevy Chase movie at first, seems too good to be true, but then You realize you didnt make an appointment, you just dropped by on any given day and all the ducks were in a row, everything in order professional and not pushy at all. We literally looked at the model, left thinking we would check other complexes in the area, went to two other places and rushed back here as quick as we could go to secure am apartment. From the moment we walked into the leasing office to seven months later. Could not be more ecstatic with this management team. They are all so very professional, with a Very high level of integrity and proficiency. They have actually made a apartment complex feel like a neighborhood. I truly appreciate all of their efforts to maintain such a large complex. I would recommend this complex above any I have seen in Cobb County. Maintenance always knocks, and is very very prompt in completing a work order. The experience maintenance workers have and attention to detail is fantastic. The only thing that may need addressed is the tiles in the pool, that need replaced or restored before the next swim season. I hope to live here for many years to come. This management team is exceptional. Its a no brainer you cant find better for your money in this area.
Awesome and very professional service from Staff and mantaince. Mitchell was awesome and deserves a 5 star rating for sure. As well as The office staff too. Josh with mantaince was great in helping me get my microwave up the stairs for me because I have a bad knee.Over all they all deserve a 5 star rating!
Beautiful property! I toured today around 10:45 am with the assistant manager Shanise and she was extremely pleasant to work with. She was also very knowledgeable. I have a couple months to make a decision but based on what I saw and my experience touring today they have moved to the top of my list!
So far so good. This complex and the unit are better than my last apartment experience back in TX. Its quiet here, the on-site laundry facilities are clean and working, and I love theres a car care facility too. So far its been too cold outside to fully utilize it. A maintenance issue took a little longer to resolve than I would have liked, but once the head maintenance guy got involved, it was handled the same day and fixed.
Josh has been to my apartment to fix several things this year when I put requests in. He is fast, friendly, and he was prompt when I put my requests in for maintenance. He even asked me when he seen me on the property if I had any issues after he fixed what was wrong.
Moved here last September and have loved it! This apartment complex has a lot more families and is geared more to a community setting. Which makes it a lot safer and friendlier than my previous apartment. I feel like I live in a neighborhood. Our apartment was exactly like the model they showed us; very clean and bright. The staff is always quick to fix anything (even gave us tome touch up paint for a wall we accidentally scratched, oops!). And they sometimes have fundraisers or food drives for local organizations. Just recently they gave out free chick-fil-a breakfast for all the residents one morning; just because! Very impressed with Mountain Park Estates. Would definitely recommend to any family or friends.
I came to visit Kennesaw in search of an apartment end of Nov. My parents and I arrived late in the day but Kelly provided a fantastic tour. She was very accommodating by setting up the lease process through e-mail and allowed for my roommate and I to move in beginning of January. The application process was fast and easy. Nate helped my roommate and I after all papers were signed, super smooth. After moving in their was an issue with the carpets, the management looked for all possible options and fixed it right away. I have been so happy with the management and cleaniness of the property. The gym is always neat and organized, as well as the shrubbery is maintained. The apartment in general is spacious, up to date, and quiet. I love the view of the woods surrounding our building too!
I have been living here for six years now. Everyone is so accommodating especially Mitchell. He is a great staff member and always goes above and beyond to check on me to make sure everything is okay and I really appreciate that. Everyone’s so nice and I really like the neighborhood.
Two months of no functioning air condition, spider problems, and roaches the size of small rats… filed a complaint with the BBB.My wife and I moved in a townhouse on May 6th, with our two daughters and two small dogs. The first day, the air conditioning unit had frozen up, leaking water into the dining room and saturating the carpet. The unit was running, but not cooling the apartment. This was a problem we would become uncomfortably familiar with over the next two months. I notified the office immediately, replacing the filter, which was completely clogged. I also vacuumed out the unit, as the filter had not been changed for quite some time, and had littered the unit with debris. The unit still did not cool properly. Management sent several of the maintenance staff to look into the issue, each one arguing with us that the unit worked fine. This became, and continues to be a frustrating occurrence. To short a long, drawn-out, two-month saga, It has now been over two months; we are still without the luxury of functioning air condition, even though our complaints have persistent. My wife and I have been diplomatic and patient throughout this process, but this week I reached my limit, as indoor temperatures reached over 80 degrees (the upstairs much hotter). The unit runs constantly, day in and day out, but does not cool the townhouse. We are paying $1740 a month for an apartment that does not have the most basic of expectations--functioning air condition. This week, I filed a complaint with the BBB.On top of the lack of air conditioning, the townhouse has a definite bug problem. I sprayed the interior of the apartment with a double-dose of “Demon” insecticide prior to move-in. I did this again last week, spraying the interior and the exterior, as we killed two rat-sized roaches, and have problems with spiders (not just the small variety). The first go-around with the spray did kill several small roaches over the two months we’ve been here. And to be fair, I have not shared the bug problem with management, as I don’t trust their level of maintenance in the very least. I don’t doubt they’ll get to it eventually, but it’s the lack of maintenance quality that I’m concerned with. And again, to be fair, we were told early on that maintenance is short staffed at the moment.Renter beware… this review is only to warn future tenants of the lack of quality and integrity this complex has displayed in dealing with major issues such as ours. The complex is great… if you don’t have any maintenance issues. Ours has been no small ordeal. As for now, I will let the BBB handle our complaints. My stepfather is mayor in a surrounding county, and we are investigating other avenues to file complaints—this complex has treated my family poorly, not taking our circumstances seriously, and allowing us to struggle without adequate air condition for over two months. I hope my complaints with the proper authorities will prevent this negligent behavior in the future.
I cannot say enough amazing things about this apartment complex, Im usually not one to write a review but I had to write one because I want others to know how great they are! Living alone I wanted to make sure that I felt comfortable and safe when choosing an apartment complex and I couldnt of chose anywhere better to live. The newly renovated apartments are GORGEOUS, the front staff is great with answering all the questions I had and helping my transition into the complex go smoothly (Thanks Nate!). The property is extremely clean and well kept, they host all kinds of themed parties throughout the year which is so fun and a great way to meet your neighbors, and you just feel at home when you are there. Thank You Mountain Park for a wonderful experience and if you are looking for a place to live I would suggest them 100%!!
I was having an issue with my air conditioning unit and after a long 3 days, Mitch came in and knew exactly what was wrong. Explained in detail what was happening and what he was going to do to get it fixed. He is always helpful when I have an issue and even when I see him around the complex he makes sure to wave.
This apartment complex is the last one you want to live at in Kennesaw. The photos and the tour you go on will look great, but it is like a fish looking at a shiny new bait. After being a resident, I can tell you1) The staff is horrible. They act like they are god and hold your home over your head if you confront them about their wrong doing.2) I kept my apartment very clean and had an issue with roaches dispite telling management I had an infestation issue. I was forced to buy my own roach killing products in attempts to control the issue before moving out.3) Again the staff is awful!!Please do yourself a favor and look at ANY other apartment in Kennesaw before you live here. Your family will thank you, and your quality of life will be so much happier!
I just moved from Mountain Park Estates due to a change in school that required me to relocate. I was deeply sadden by the move because after living there four years I cant imagine living in any other apartment complex. Having to move to Atlanta and realizing how much less space I get for my buck was frustrating. I had a one bedroom one bath apartment (about 896 sq ft if I recall correctly) and it was extremely spacious. Lots of storage including the outdoor storage room (almost 3 times the size of my current apartments), two pantry closets, a coat closet, storage cabinet by the fireplace, and plenty of cabinets in the his and hers bathroom to store all my personals. I never realized how good I had it until I moved out. As far as maintenance, since the new management took over, requests were completed promptly and all of the staff is friendly and polite. The landscaping is kept in top shape and there are plenty of beautiful green areas to play with children and pets. I had wonderful neighbors that were polite and kept to themselves. The pool area was very inviting and I would visit it frequently. I felt comfortable walking all across the property. Even the move out process went smoothly and they charged me a very reasonable amount for damage to carpet. I would highly recommend Mountain Park Estates and would move back in a heart beat!Old Review:Ive lived at Mountain Park Estates since 2013 and it has been overall a good experience for my first rental. The property itself is beautiful and I love the layout of my apartment and the big tub. The neighborhood is very quiet and comforting for my liking at least. Ive never had any issues with the neighboring tenants. I love walking with my pets with all the pretty and numerous trees there are; its beautiful in the fall. The only bad experiences Ive had were with maintenance. My second summer at the complex my A/C unit went down and it took over a week to get resolved, which meant it was unbearably hot considering I live in the top unit. They did offer a fan for the apartment until the repairs were made. Requests should be made on their Resident Portal rather than leaving a message at the office; I assume they are quite busy and the couple of times I submitted requests calling the office they were left unattended. If you leave a request online, they usually respond within the same week. However, the maintenance crew itself are very cordial and nice. The gates are a bit of an issue. Its suppose to be access control, but people have run through the arm at the gate so many times, they havent put it back up for months which allows other vehicles to sneak behind you to get in since the gates take time to close.Pool is usually very clean (last summer it wasnt clean for a holiday) and the gym was recently renovated and although small is very well maintained and comfortable. They recently added a small dog park to the facility which is small but adequate although I dont visit often because its on the opposite side of the complex from where my building is. Baggies for animal wastes are provided at designated areas so you dont need to purchase your own (unless they havent restocked, but theyre usually good about that). The office staff is always nice and Ive had little problems with them. I just wish there werent so many inspections all year long because it can be inconvenient when you have pets that cant stand to be kenneled. The Resident portal makes paying rent and utilities a breeze. The only continuing downside that Ive noticed since moving here is that with each change in management company, the price on rent has gone up. In the past almost 3 years Ive gone up by about $110.Overall, I am satisfied with my accommodations although there is room for improvement. Ill be saddened when I have to move away because the access to the Barrett Parkway, the interstate, and KSU make everything pretty accessible and convenient plus, once again I love the architecture and layout of my apartment and walking through the roads filled with tree.
I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Ive lived here for two years now and plan on living here another year. The property is very clean and apartments are modern and very well renovated. The community is very safe, many families seem to live here and every resident here works to create a safe environment for one another. The employees in the leasing office are very kind and always willing to help and answer any questions that you may have. They also throw lots of community parties and those are always fun! I would recommend staying here simply for the great amenities, secure community and convenience in Kennesaw.
This place is awesome. Im so happy we ended up living here. This is the one place where the actual apartments look even better than the photos online. Their new renovated apartments are beautiful. The staff seems really nice and welcoming and the whole community just has a really charming vibe. Overall it was a really pleasant experience especially when in comparison to some of the negative experiences my boyfriend and I encountered during our initial apartment hunt.
Nate is an amazing leasing officer! He is genuine and very productive. He is the only leading officer I will go to to handle any of my apartment needs! If Nate is not there I will also allow Camillie to assist me. she is just as caring and as Nate! They make a great team and add value to he complex! Maintenance is very quick and Kelly is the most diligent maintenance worker and so friendly I can always count on the job getting done correctly
Review for the maintenanceFirst off. I would like to thank Josh for coming out at 11 oclock at night to help fix our A/C problem and showed us how to handle it in the future just in case the problem persists. Very Respectful and funny. Just make sure there are no snakes involved! Our hero saved us from our broken AC that made our apartment go to 90 degrees.FIVE GOLD STARS FOR THIS GUY
I lived her for 2 years and loved every moment. No bugs!!!! Im HUGE on cleanliness & safety; I experienced ZERO BUG issues here. As far as safety, of course no where is completely safe. However, I felt reallly safe here. If I needed to move back to an apartment complex, Mountain Park would definitely be my first choice. Also, management - especially Camille is great. I literally have no complaints re this complex.
I have been living in this complex for almost 4yrs. Lots of improvements. One thing that has stayed the same is Camile, the sweetest person in the leasing office. She listens and go above and beyond tontey and help. If you check this property out, ask for her and say I sent you😊.
We moved into Mountain Park Estates apartments two weeks ago. The office staff were very nice and helped us get into the apartment sooner than we had hoped. Our one bedroom first floor unit is large and the floor plan layout is exactly what we needed. There is very generous storage and ample parking. We havent had a need to meet any of the maintenance staff yet. The complex is so convenient to Barrett Parkway and all the shops and restaurants. KSU and Kennesaw Mountain Park is only about five minutes away. We have found our unit to be very quite. We hardly hear any outside or upstairs noise. These apartments were recommended to us, and we would recommend them to anyone.
I lived at BKM from mid 2019-mid 2020 and overall, it was a great living experience. I had a couple bookkeeping issues with the front desk but Hollie, the community manager, cleared it up no sweat. She really made any and all issues disappear when she took over. A+ to Hollie. Here is my short bullet point list of the pros and cons:Pros:•Fantastic staff(both front desk and maintenance)•The grounds are always clean and kept up with•Compared to most apartment complexes in the area, this one feels much... safer if you will• Great amenitiesCons:•There are no ceiling fans/ceiling fan hookups(at least in my ‘renovated my apartment)•no lights in the bedroom and living room• had no AC for a couple months but they finally sent out a licensed HVAC tech fix it(turned out to be a small issue with the inside unit)-Grayson
Please don’t be fooled by the semi-decent looking apartments. Here at mountain park you can expect anything from appliances not working after many service requests, to maintenance workers coming by to do “inspections” unannounced, to inconsiderate neighbors, to staff members who pay no attention to complaints and purposely ignore calls to the office. If you complain about something, the staff pretends to care the first time, but if the problem persists, they will completely blow you off. The rent here is enough to expect a decent living conditions, but you’re lucky to get even that. As soon as my lease is up I am getting far, far away from here. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
I have lived here for almost 4 years. The maintenance staff is the best and the only reason there’s any stars on this review at all. For the last two years or so, this new management company has taken over and they are the absolute worst. The trash compactor has been broken for more than two months, and they refuse to get any sort of additional bins like we used to have with the old management company. My AC goes out at least three times a year (kudos though to Maintainence who shows up quickly and are super friendly to fix it- it’s not their fault the equipment is garbage). It’s basically like living on the set of arachnophobia because there are spiderwebs everywhere. On top of all that, there’s construction going on that shakes the entire building to the point where I have things falling off my wall. I could deal with all of that, except that this management company has raise my rent 30% since I moved in. Most of that coming in the last two years during a global pandemic.
Mountain Park is terrible! Ive been dealing with A/C problems for 6 months and counting. My electric bill has been way over the average cost and the front office has done absolutely nothing to help solve the problem. They have sent maintenance personnel out several times to fix the problem, but my bill was still sky high. When it finally started cooling off outside and I turned the A/C off for the winter, my bill has dropped down to average. So I wonder what the problem could be?? They finally sent an A/C tech out this week but he cannot do anything until the spring. I have been up to the office several times and Ive been told time and time again that they are looking into the problem and will call me back. THEY NEVER CALL YOU BACK!!! The front office will tell you one thing and the electric company will tell you another. This issues has drained me financially and the front office cannot comprehend that and see how angry I am. All I have asked is for the problem to be solved and they have done nothing. Also my wife and son came home last week and walked into the house and saw our back door was wide open (we live on the first floor), so she called the police. They came and searched the house and no one was inside. We didnt have anything missing and we think it was probably an inspector but the fact that somebody left MY DOOR open, so anyone could just walk on in, that was a huge deal to me. We told the front office manager, Kelly and she said the she will email someone to find out.... 8 days later, we still havent heard a word from them. Nobody said they were sorry. They never try to fix the problems. The front office is terrible, they do not call you back, they tell you they will fix things but never do and they act as if they dont care what issues that you have. Im active duty Navy and I have lived in a lot of different places, this is by far the worst I have ever been treated from an front office. Save your self the trouble and look elsewhere to live.
Dont get me wrong the apartments are nice, but let me tell yall about the leasing office staff. Possibly the worst people you can deal with! They are always overcharging for nothing and making up random charges. When we first were moving in we found bed bugs around the apartment. We only had one mattress at the time and hardly any of our belongings. We had them get the exterminators to come and spray and we thought everything was good. NO. We got sent a $400 bill. Usually they are suppose to pay for the charge but they claimed that we were the ones that brought them because Costco(where my roommate got her bed from) beds were on recall. We called Costco to confirm and they had NO idea what we were talking. We went up to the leasing office to ask for the letter that states that Costco beds are on recall because of bed bugs and they suddenly developed amnesia. She then started stalling and said that she doesnt have the paper. From then on we knew they were lying. Charges were dropped the next day.Literally the worst staff ever!!!!!!!!
Its really a shame about the management at this community because the location is perfect, the apartments are well laid-out, theres plenty of parking, and the place feels quiet. However, lurking beneath the surface are some major issues.Maintenance is pretty terrible. Theyve walked right into my apartment without knocking (as I was getting out of the shower!) and when I called, the manager was like oh, well you did file a maintenance request. Yeah, but not for them to just let themselves in without giving me a heads up. No apology whatsoever. My A/C has to be fixed at least once a month because they dont really do anything other than spray some Freon into it instead of actually fixing the problem. So my apartment has been between 82-86 this summer. The toilet runs constantly and has been fixed twice. Its not fixed if I keep having to mess with it.While there is plenty of parking, the lots could be better maintained. The lines are faded and so people are constantly parking poorly, resulting in less space available. My biggest pet peeve right now is a resident who continues to use the handicap spot as his own private parking place. He is not handicapped; he does not have a specified license plate or hanging tag to indicate he has the right to use the spot. Hes just lazy and inconsiderate. Management has done nothing to fix the situation; Im not convinced there is even a courtesy officer in the complex like they claim because Ive called them on multiple occasions and never received a call back or visit. So, if you are handicapped or have visitors that are handicapped, dont expect management to care about you. When we moved in, we were told that the gym facilities were 24hrs but that is a lie. After we moved in, they said it was actually 6am-10pm. Also a lie. Its basically whenever maintenance feels like opening the door, which is usually before management gets there, but definitely not at 6am. I got a gym membership at Anytime Fitness because Mountain Parks facility hours are so erratic.Dog poop around the neighborhood is a massive problem. You cant walk anywhere without stepping in poop. Gross. They dont enforce the dog breed/weight policies. Rent agreement says no dangerous breeds but I see pittbulls, German Shepherds and Akitas on a daily basis. Theres even dog poop in the tennis courts. The office never, ever returns phone calls, and most of the time they dont even answer the phone. It just rings and rings. Maybe they are understaffed, I dont really know, but its unacceptable to leave residents with no way to contact them other than office visits, which is impractical for people that work. If you do have go to the office in the evening, make sure you get there well before their posted closing time, because they frequently leave before 6pm.If you come on a day that all three gates are working, you should take a picture, because its rarer than Haleys Comet. People rush the gates and break them all the time. Usually at least one gate is wide open because its broken. Pretty much defeats the purpose of having a gated, secure community. The trash compactor is frequently overflowing with garbage, spilling out the top and all over the grass and parking area. Couches, TVs, and appliances get dumped next to it and sit for days. Good thing they tack on plenty of waste management fees to the utilities.12/21/2015 updateParking lot updates/repairs promised by management in August have STILL not been made. I am also still waiting for management to purchase and put up a legally enforceable handicap sign for my building. I was told that I would have to deal with a neighbor smoking in their unit, which enters my unit through the ventilation system.
Ive lived in this complex for two years and its been great. The management is responsive, courteous, and understanding. Maintenance requests can be submitted online and are generally handled within one business day. Location is convenient for most of the northwest metro, but be wary of rush hour up and down the I-75 corridor. The units are very spacious. If you have a choice, live in the 800 building!
Let me tell you a few things, in GA there are very few affordable places to live. You can either live in an area where there is a lot of noise, crime, and less desirable conditions. Or you can spend $100 more and live in a nice gated community. When I first had my tour, I was told it was a quiet community, 24hour gym, gated, good maintenance staff; they were putting in an office center as I was coming into their community. Great, this place sounds perfect for me! Just having moved from out of state, I felt this was the best location for me, not too far from Atlanta and not too far from work. Great, right?Ya it was pretty great at first. After the first few months, the 24hour gym was only open 10-10. I worked late some nights and didnt get home until 10:30...so they never worked for me. The gates were left open more often than not, days, weeks, where they were just left wide open. I chose a gated community because I had an ex that used to just show up whenever they felt like, so I thought the extra cost was worth it...wish I could have held back part of my rent until they fixed that. They recently were bought by another company…I think when I moved in, they gave me a great rate and told me about all these great amenities, cause they wanted to fill all the holes before they sold. The place is half empty, don’t listen to them if they say otherwise. So my lease is almost up and I start looking for some other place to live, same issue I had when I was looking a year ago, nothing really in my budget that I felt safe in, so I decide to go month-to-month while I look for a roommate or another living situation. That brought my rent up to over a thousand dollars a month. When I finally found a situation that worked for me, I needed to save $500 before I could move in...The office refused to work with me, let me do a partial payment. I had NEVER once missed turning in rent and I was always on time. So I was really irked with them for that. There were so many empty units that you’d think they would want you to stay. Anyways, so I finally move out. Great, good riddance. I cleaned, vacuumed, probably left a few screws in the wall; I figured I wouldnt get my deposit back. I was so angry with them, I didnt care.I had a dog in the apartment with me. If it ever had an accident, I would clean it up, immediately. The carpet looked like apartment carpet when I moved in, kindy dingy, recently cleaned. Apparently, I destroyed their carpet and they had to replace all of it. It was a four year carpet when I moved in and in the lease, it said not to bother shampooing the floor because they would do that. But I guess their company couldn’t get out any of the stains and they had to replace the entire thing. So I ended up paying somewhere around $300 to replace a four year old carpet (which I was under the impression that’s what the pet fee is for, what are they using it for if not to replace carpets after the animals leave)….So if you are renting from here, make sure you know how old the carpet it and what you need to do to not get dinged with this fee. I feel if I had shampooed the carpet before I left I never would have had this headache. I have since learned to always mention every stain in the walk-through of anything you are renting, any ding, any bump, anything you see, write it down. I have never lived some place that the office didn’t genuinely care about you…but here, at Mountain Park…you are just a check to them. They do not care about you.Quiet community though.2/5 because Camille is awesome.
I posted when we first put our deposit down, but Ill update now as we have been in the apartment since June 2015. After reading other reviews I honestly dont understand why there are negative ratings. I have had nothing but a wonderful experience with Mountain Park and we will continue to rent here as long as we are in Kennesaw! My husband and I have had a wonderful experience with Mountain Park and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a homey apartment complex! It is the perfect location in Kennesaw as it is in the middle of Barrett and Chastain. We also love that our drive to Marietta is now only 5 minutes and does not require getting on 75!We have lived in the 1 bedroom unit since June 2015 and love our building. The entire complex is meticulously well kept and the community is very family friendly (i.e. no crazy college parties, unlike many complexes around). Our apartment is full of natural light and all maintenance requests are quickly answered. We have a back unit facing the trees and we feel like were in our own little world, rather than an urban apartment complex. We are still as much in love with our apartment as the day we moved in. Mountain Park has met and exceeded all of our expectations. You wont be disappointed!
Its a nice clean complex. One of the few places that isnt ruled by the almighty credit score and the staff is somewhat competent. Thats where the good new ends. I dont think the staff is on the same page at all. You could ask the same question three times and get three different answers. Maintenance is really hit and miss too. I only lived there for about 7 months, but I had to call for HVAC repairs at least once a month, sometimes more. TLDR, its a nice enough place and the staff is okay just dont try to break your lease early and fix any problems you come across yourself.
Myself and another roommate are moving into the Mountain Park Estates. We have been dealing with Nate this entire process, which started in April. He has been nothing but helpful and forthcoming on all fronts and processes of this experience. He has made us feel comfortable and welcome from the first time we walked into the office. He has checked in with us every step of the way to make sure we understand exactly what we are getting into and to make sure we understand the process every step of the way. I could not have asked for an easier transition into a new place. If our experience that we have had up to this point, is any indication of how they run their company for their current residence, I am extremely excited for this new living situation.
The apartments themselves are nice and the complex is safe. But the managment rips you off. We are getting charged a fee that we shouldnt be getting charged, and they said they would take it off but havent, and we are still being charged it. This will be the third time I will have to go by to talk about it. Not very happy about that at all. If you like your money look elsewhere...I would have if I knew this would happen.
Really disappointed in this place. I had heard they cleaned up their staff and management, so my husband and I decided to take a look. Well I looked at the apartment and it was adorable, however, we have a dog and their dog park was the sorriest Ive ever seen. They charge a $300 pet deposit and $10 a month yet they cant even supply a dog park that is half way decent. After looking at the apartment and spending about an hour there we find out our dog is on the restricted list. A 30lb miniature blue heeler... one of the most loyal and obedient cattle dogs out there. She isnt a bully breed nor have I ever heard of her breed biting anyone. We were shocked to say the least. The manager didnt come out at all but made another employee come tell us. I tried to call later that day to see if the normal sized blue heelers are restricted because of weight or another reason. No answer and 2 DAYS LATER they returned the call. I tried to call back but no answer so I decided to swing by on Sunday. No office personnel was there and there were 4 people waiting. I waited over 40 minutes without ever seeing a worker. Their lack of returning my call and their audacity to charge so much for a pet yet not care about them at all with the tiny dog park and extensive restricted list turned us away. Places like this are why shelters are so full. Thankfully we dont have to move anytime soon so we can look for a deserving apartment complex that will accept our dog who is part of our family.
Good Afternoon Mr. Leseman,I apologize that I have to write this letter; however I am worried that we are not the only ones that have been dealing with this poor management that is at your business. My significant other and I were residents at Mountain Park Estates/ Trees of Kennesaw for two years. During that time frame the management companies changed about three - four times (at least that is what I was told by the front office). I would like to enlighten you on some concerns we have with the leasing office and the management that is running the apartment complex.1. When we initially moved in, we were advised the grounds would be maintained weekly. When we noticed the stairs were filthy for months after we moved in, we asked if the stairs would be cleaned. We were told the stairs are to be pressure washed and trash would be picked up. Within the two years we lived at 1514 Tress of Kennesaw Pkwy, the stairs were pressure washed once during the time the renovations were taking place (about a year ago).2. Around June or July 2015 we received a letter advising we had a pet and would need to pay a fine because we had not notified the apartment complex. When we went to speak with the manager she was not available. We spoke with Tatum (the person that drafted the letter) and were advised someone saw a dog in our apartment. We were very taken aback because we have never owned a dog. When we proceeded to ask: who exactly lied and said we had a dog? what breed is this fictitious dog? We were told the person was not in to confirm; however they expected us to pay a fee we should not have paid. This incident was taken care of and wiped away after the manager called us to advise we did not pay the “pet fee” with our rent. When we asked for proof that we have a pet, the manager was not able to provide that proof and as a result the pet fee was voided.3. We completely moved out of the apartment on 9/24/15; however we closed on our home August 28, 2015 and lived there about a week after we closed. We were sent a notice via email on 10/19/15 advising that your company had not yet received payment for “move out statement balance” and this would be due 10/29/15. This was a problem because we had not received the statement until 10/16/15 and the payment was due the next week (not allowing us a 30 day grace period to pay). We also have yet to receive the electric statement either, which makes us believe the price we are quoted for the electric bill is incorrect seeing we did not occupy the space for a month. When we replied to Tatum and advised her of the time frame she told us the letter was sent 9/30/15. Attached is a copy of the postage which reflects the letter was sent 10/13/15. The deadline was extended to 11/16/15 as a courtesy to us (which is really not a courtesy but the actual date the balance should be due). During this correspondence not once was there an apology. Our main concern is the professionalism that is shown at Mountain Park Estes. There are mistakes constantly made without an apology or recourse. We have been lied to countless times when we put in service requests. We ask to speak with a manager, she is never available. We ask who exactly dropped the ball, there is never an answer. We stayed at the apartment complex the first year and even resigned our lease for an additional 14 months instead of the usual 12. We have never been late with our rent and we do not bother any other tenants. We basically keep to our self, work and mind our business; however it started to seem like we became targets. I would really hate to believe the complex is looking for different ways to charge customers including fabricating the truth, but that has been my experience. I would appreciate if this complex can be looked into and coached on Customer Service.Thank you for taking the time to address our concerns,
Theres so many negative points about this community its hard to decide where to start with.Uncoutless complaints never resolved, ridiculous to say the least and completely not reasonable extra charges. Property invasion (yes, I had that unhappy experience of having one of the staff going through my trash, believe it or not, to find out they read my mail. Which is considered illegal and got me completely upset at that time, but we decided not to fill in charges and just let it go hoping things would get better. What did not happen, they just got worse)The place is a trash, there is waste everywhere and seems like no one cares. So sad cause the area has great potential. But by far the biggest problem is the careless and rude staff and completely unprofessional, disrespectful and deceitful property manager. Of all times we had to deal with the manager, we were hardly disrespected and very unpleasant with the not professional posture showed. Not pointing names me and my husband had two of the office staff people yelling at us (yes, yelling! How professional is that?) for what it was their oun mistake.Moving and living here was the worse experience weve ever had in our lives, and I hope I can alarm other people that actually care about a community that cares about their residents, has good costumer service and RESPECT to the client. Because those are things you wont get in here.Disappointed costumer.
The negativesThe office staff is trash. They act like doing their job is an inconvenience. Most Of the “amenities” were closed for “renovations” for most of my lease with no heads up beforehand. Trash is ALWAYS overflowing and compactor was down for over a month before they finally replaced it.PositivesSize, layout, location.
First, I do not live here, but I did take a tour of this place. This biggest thing to me is introduction. The gentleman, Nate, was awesome. When we spoke over the phone he was very welcoming and showed care in his job. Once I got there, he was again, welcoming. I felt like I wasnt a burdon to them and they were actually interested in doing business with me, unlike other places I have been to. He helped me decide what would be more ideal for my fiance and I. He was pretty accurate too with the size we needed. He asked questions such as, What exactly are you looking for in your apartment? I liked this, hes looking for the best that would be perfect for us. After I took a tour, I was hooked. Sadly, I ran numbers and realized I needed to save a little more money. I was unable to move in, but Nate was on his game. He emailed me the day after, prior to me telling him I didnt feel comforable doing it, just to check in on me. I havent visited an apartment complex with staff member who care this much. Besides that, the place is built perfectly and it seems like a lot of space. I would recomend this place to everyone. Also, I never pass around 5 stars, so this says a lot about them. A professional staff and a beautiful apartment complex, well worth the visit. Thank you Nate for all your help, hopefully next year we will move in there!
I have lived here for a little over 2 months and am very pleased! It is such a clean, well-kept place and so quiet.I also love the variety of age groups that I see in the community, from college students to families.I have only had 2 minor issues that were both handled immediately.Great place to live!
Maintenance request are delayed, lost, or ignored. The pool is poorly maintained and filthy (missing tiles and growing algae) and the jaccuzi doesnt work at all. The walls and floors of apartments are so thin you can hear conversations clearly. Dog poop everywhere you look. Security gate frequently non-functioning. Overall a bad experience.
Moved here recently and have been extremely pleased with everything, however there is no option for recycling or recycling pick-up here. When I was apartment shopping, nearly every complex had an option for recyclable waste in the community and I assumed an extremely nice area like this would participate. Very disappointed that they dont have that here and I will have to bring my recyclables and compost somewhere else.
Mountain Park Estates will always hold a special spot in my heart as well as Natalies. It is where we took our relationship to the next level. Where we cooked our first meal together. Where we had our friends and family over. Where we roasted smores in the fireplace. It isnt just our apartment but our home. I couldnt imagine starting our lives together anywhere else, even with our dog, Bear. Great staff, great people, great community.
Close to $400 missing from my account because I made the mistake of visiting the community!! DO NOT EVEN VISIT, AS A POTENTIAL RENTER! OR SPEAK TO ANYONE IN MANAGEMENT. I paid an exorbitant $300 administrative fee, IN ADDITION TO THE NON-REFUNDABLE $65 APPLICATION FEE. It was debited from my account in under 60 seconds as I expected, however when I changed my mind less than 12 hours later, I was told that the refund would be made via CHECK!!! and mailed in 7-10 business days?!!! It took 2 seconds to debit it from my account. Now they dont have the technology to refund it back??!!!.
You can hear every footstep the people above you make. Also you only have one cable and internet provider in comcast. Because of one service provider they do not offer any promotions or discounts that are actually worth it as opposed to other places.Edit. The apartment now has at&t fiber.Roaches! Everywhere!
TERRIBLE. charging fines out of no where, thinnest walls of all the apartments Ive ever been in, staff is ignorant and rude. no soliciting my ass. I get a chinese food menu on my door at least twice a month. Bug infestations have affected my neighbors and if you do have to live here (but im begging you not to) READ THE ENTIRE LEASE. I have never hated a complex as much as I do this one.
You pay for a gated community yet the gates never work. Ive almost been in THREE head on collisions because apparently residents think its ok to go in through the exit gate that is wide open. One of those actually being this morning while my son was in the car. Also, granted we got out locks changed but a month later and Kelly has still failed to contact me about who was possibly in our house and left our door wide open.
Every year I have had problems with insects inside the apartment and it is not completely solved.5 days ago I asked to please fumigate and they still dont come. They should spray inside and outside the apartment, on the gardens and stairs.Stairs and stair area that I think should be cleaned well with a pressurized water compressor.Without naming any person specifically, the truth is that in their office they have a person who collaborates little or is not willing to give a good service to the tenant.Sometimes I think the fact of being Hispanic makes me not collaborate 100% ... I guess

2022-05-25We have been living here close to a year now. With the new leadership of Tawny Varlamoff in place and Camille in the office, things have improved dramatically. The facilities are spotless and there is not a bug in site. The trash compactor area has been dealt with. Maintenance requests are answered in a timely manner and I have found the gym area to be super clean every time I am there. The pool area provides a nice space for relaxation. We have been pleased.

2022-02-04DO NOT RENT HERE! Bell Kennesaw mountain is a terrible apartment complex to live in. it is incredibly overpriced (I have been renting for 2 years now and prices have gone up more than 12%). All 3 gates are always broken therefore anyone can walk in here which defeats the purpose of advertising this as a gated community. The amenities are not maintained so I don’t know where all the money we pay is going. The gym equipment is always broken, and just recently there were residents smoking in the gym and others engaging in lewd activity in the women’s bathroom. The dog park is tiny and terribly maintained. There is often trash in the parking lots and streets. In addition, the trash compactor was broken for months and there was trash accumulating everywhere. Not to mention the leasing office staff who are unbelievably rude, unhelpful, and unreliable. They always act like they are being inconvenienced.

2022-05-24Referred here while needing to rent before closing on a home. From the time that we got there, there were issues. Even before hand they denied us for the apartment even though we literally had just been approved to purchase a home. Got there and there was always something; trash compactor not working, gate not working, tennis court shut down, car wash not available, literally always something. Trash filled the compactor area and spilled onto the drive thru lane for weeks. The processes and contracts are predatory in my opinion. Even though we only needed a 2 month lease, they wouldn’t except less than 3; but wanted a 2 month notice, re rented the apartment but still looking to collect an additional month’s rent since we gave 31 day notice. We told them up front when we needed to leave. I emailed prior to leaving thinking I was doing the right thing but was told I’d be charge an additional month. I told them from the beginning how long we’d be there but then again it has been years since we’ve rented. Anyways, the management/employees in the office lacks simple etiquette and response times are slow. I would not recommend this apartment complex for many reasons, the main draw for us was the location. However if we didn’t need to be a certain area, I would not have moved forward with leasing here. I do not recommend as the luxury feel, customer service is not actually there once you move in and not worth the high costs you pay!

2022-06-246/23/22So it’s 80 degrees in my apartment!!! It’s 11:04pm!!! So as you can see I asked for a filter change during my last issue and it never happened. I have lived here since June of 2021 and not once has the filter been changed!! The maintenance guy that came for the light issue forgot to bring and never came back with it. I put in a work order tonight and will follow up in the morning!! Rent is too D$&@ high for these subpar conditions!!! Right now the unit is just running wouldn’t be surprised if it has to be replaced like others I seen being replaced last week!!! They don’t do proper maintenance to maintain the HVAC therefore creating higher utilities and poor air quality.I can’t wait to move, cabinets finally being ordered for the new house!!!

2022-04-06Kennesaw Bell Mountain is a good place to live. I was here for just a short time but had no issues. Maintenance came out when they needed to and fixed what was wrong. Neighbors were always quiet and the grounds are well kept.

2021-12-09My experience at Bell Kennesaw has been the best! Grounds well kept. Service prompt, courteous and professional. A special thanks to staff. They are always available and helpful. Special kudos to Olivia Furnell, who at a difficult time could not have been more helping and courteous, and with a smile, to boot. Bell should feel proud to have people of her caliber representing them as their face to the public. Many thanks. Chuck Clay

2021-12-14My experience at Bell Kennesaw has been great! We recently sold our home with a very quick closing. The Bell staff not only accommodated a quick move in process but did it with a smile. Olivia Furnell was incredibly helpful in turning a recently vacated apartment into our home in two short days. Olivias professionalism and smile made a very difficult situation feel warm and friendly. Grateful for a wonderful staff here at Bell Kennesaw!

2021-12-07We lived in this property for almost 9 years—back when it was originally Trees of Kennesaw Apartments (the best owners by far to be honest). There have been 4 management companies and 2 name changes since then. Sadly, due to circumstances beyond our control, we had to move. Despite my misgivings about some of the management companies, I will say that there was one person who consistently went above and beyond to do her job and practically held this whole place intact, and that is Camille. Shes hard-working, communicable, friendly, knowledgeable, and just an overall decent person. One time, after my fridge went out, Camille went out of her way to help one of the maintenance crew—who was by himself that day—carry up a new fridge to our apartment while wearing heels—how many apartment office workers do you know that does that? So even though we just left and are no longer residents here anymore, I just want to say thank you Camille for all those years of just being the best.-Grace & Brandon

2022-03-21Tramell was one of the nicest guys I could have ever expected to get the dishwasher replaced today. He was quick, he was funny, he helped me understand what was wrong with the old dishwasher and why it needed to be replaced, and most importantly, he got the job done. He said hes only been working at this apartment complex for about a week and you cant even tell because of how well experienced he is.Also, Angela, the Community Manager, was indescribably helpful. As soon as she found out I had an issue, she jumped and made it her top priority to get it fixed ASAP. Nothing short of World Class service from the two of them. Shout out to them both.

2022-01-19Steve was very helpful with getting my maintenance requests completed! He initially only came in to fix one thing but he gladly helped with replacing my kitchen light, I know there has been an issue with staffing for maintenance but I’m glad he got the job done!
