I love Adams food IGA. They have a very customer friendly staff. The prices are competitive and the fresh produce is wonderful!! My family and I have shopped with them for years and we are never disappointed!! Update: 2022 Is now Berry Foods IGA so far so good. I still receive great customer service and the prices are still competitive. Produce is still awesome. And they still sell local produce.

I love going in here when I just have to grab a couple items. Its never packed and its small enough to make a quick trip out of it. Prices are great. But best of all, the staff is amazing. Particularly the older gentleman who bags groceries and offers to help you out to your car with them, he is so nice. Its quite refreshing to get this super friendly, small town kind of service.

Great staff! Honest poor quality in the meat. The person I reported the quality to he immediately got defensive and argued with me I was trying to help other customers from any sickness due to brown meat. The bread was expired. There is mold on the left end corner of the store. Terrible experience but hey luckily one time only I will never go again. Learn customer service not defensive. What happened to the customer was right?
It has been awhile sincw I had been in but does not seem as clean as it used to be. Deli people need a little more Customer Service skill. I wasnt impressed with overall appearance inside.
Excellent. Definitely 5 stars. I ordered a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving. It was delicious. Excellent service & friendly staff. Fresh products, reasonably priced, clean store. Also beautiful flowers for my cemetery needs. I only wish I lived closer. Great store & I appreciate everything. Thanks again.

This is a great grocery store. Well stocked with reasonable prices but the best part is the service. They unload your cart at checkout and everyone is so helpful in helping you find stuff. The owner is there bagging groceries and taking them out to your car. This place makes grocery shopping enjoyable.

I truly enjoy shopping here however a little pricier than other big retailers thats because they are not a huge conglomerate corporation and individually owned by The Adams family. However if you cant find what youre looking for just ask and they are more than happy to assist you and even go get it for you. Check out as always a pleasure and so happy to see that Mr Adams has got on board with the mask for his employees. I dont understand the mentality that you thought that it would make your employees seem intimidating or whatever you were thinking. If we all had at the very beginning started with the mask and the distancing and the gloves even, this pandemic would not have been as aggressive as it has become. Remember think about safety and be smart wear your mask and keep your distance.
This is a family business, staff is helpful and very courteous. They have amazing sales each week,I enjoy shopping here very much.If you havent shopped here before give them a try ,youll be glad you did.
I initially was drawn in because the parking lot looked so beautiful. As I entered the store, the great smell of home cooked food greeted me and all the workers were friendly and very helpful! Adams will now be my first choice for all my food needs!! Thanks for a breath of fresh air!!
Good for an IGA. Of the few Ive been to in my life, I definitely like this IGA the best and Im glad its close to where I live. Sometimes you just dont feel like walking 10 miles through a giant store just for 1 or 2 items and thats my favorite thing about this little store. Besides that, the employees are great, friendly and welcoming and all that. The prices are a little higher than other stores... except for the meat department, which are mostly lower than Ive seen elsewhere and a great reason to visit any IGA.
This place is amazing they have a great selection and the friendliest staff in town ...the Adams family actually cares about their customers and what theyre looking for ....if they dont have it theyll go ahead and order it for you so its there the next time you need itGreg makes sure that I have my 50 pounds of Vidalia onions every time, every year, just in time to make onion relish.

Love coming here. Somethings are a little more pricey here, but its very worth it when you consider all the things it has that a bigger store does not. The people are great, always smiling and ready to help at any moment. Its never crowded when i go in. I can shop in peace and NOT have to walk a country mile to get everything i need. That is worth it in itself. When you have health problems or bad legs its hard to go grocery shopping but coming here makes it possible. They will also help you get your stuff if you just cant. Thank yall so much for going above and beyond. Im proud to have yall in my community.

Wonderful place to shop ! Everyone is so friendly and helpful ! Great place for our local teens to start their first job. Great family owned business. Clean store to shop in with wonderful produce and meats. They also support local owned business that have a product to sell. Such as Mountain Fresh Creamery and local sausage producers. They also support community groups and events. Some items are a little high, but many items right in line with prices. All in all....a great store to shop in ! Give them a try....you might be hooked also !

Not as big as Walmart, not as expensive as Ingles, this IGA is a smaller grocery store with personal touch and low prices. The have everything you need in a small space so you can get in and out quickly. Always at least 2 lines open so no waiting to checkout. The manager is excellent and always ready to help or assist. I see no reason to go anywhere else for groceries.

Never had such GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. The store owner and his employees are so hands on with help, care, & friendliness. Rather they are making sure you find what you need, unloading your buggy at the register for you or losing your items into the car you wont find any place better with customer service and care. Meats are GREAT with color and freshness and a great price. Would give 5 starts if other items very a little more reasonable in price. Will be one of my stood on grocery day though
Over charged on several items. Ham was on special for 5.18 a pound was charged 6.99, other deli meat also on sale but got charged full price there also. Live an hour away. Sad.

Greg is the manager, the girls are always helpful at the deli counter, and someone is always there to help you out! The selection is great, the grocery store isnt crowded, youll find parking in front, and this is the place to go to get Mountain Fresh Creamery Milk, the best all over Georgia! Two thumbs up.
The have the BEST fried chicken. Just like grandma use to make. You can do call ahead and they are super nice!

I highly recommend this store. I have shopped here for many years. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. You can find things that you cant find other places. Theres nothing like the hometown stores and we need to support our local businesses just like we need to support our farmers.

Great alternative to ingles and walmart. fair prices but not a big selection. only place I can find my favorite North Carolina style bbq sauce other than the tomato house and here its guaranteed to be fresh and not sitting on the shelf for over a year. Found pork picnics here for 69 cents a lb.. made great pulled pork BBQ.
Its a hometown grocery store, a bit on the rundown side, but the employees are very friendly. They carry Nadines chicken salad and pimento cheese at their deli counter both are excellent. Probably the main reason Ill stop there, otherwise I dont do my main shopping there but Ill grab snacks, drinks and of course chicken salad or pimento cheese there.

Everyone was so nice and helpful. The ladies in the deli/bakery was so super nice. I felt like I had known them for years. The 2 girls at the register was very friendly. 5 star trip....
Picked up a couple T Bones for the grill while camping. Good cut of meat. Tender and fresh. Butcher was helpful even though it was closing time. Will definitely be going back.

2022-05-04Decided to stop by today and just pick up a few things... this was the first time stopping by since the new owners. They have done an amazing job keeping it clean and the employees are really nice. Also had to try the Nadines chicken salad and its way better than ingles, walked out with a 1/2 a pound. 😁

2021-11-22The store is fantastic but the cashiers are very rude. They never say hello, good bye, have a nice day...nothing. You have to move those monitors too. Theyre right in the way; especially since they wont even give you the courtesy of handing you your bags or sliding them so you can reach them. I know good help is hard to find but its a shame because the store is great otherwise.

2022-01-14Just since Berry foods took over from Adams food. I was given old and stinky , cold cuts and the Nadine pimento cheese was SLIMMY, when I got it home. These are items I always purchased here. I thought maybe just a bad day. Then, ran in just for sodas, for a friend. Dead roach at checkout register. Two cashiers came over to look at it, said it was a sqashed grape BUT NO ONE CLEANED IT UP AND I SLIPPED A LIL ON IT AND A PIECE OF PAPER AT REGISTER. Never saw dirt like this before. Too make it worse, the cashier threw my receipt on counter and wouldnt bag my purchase. Huh? Till I demanded bag. Not going back anymore. Higher priced then other stores, anyway.
