Ordered a new iPad to replace old one. Finally got details it was coming from distribution center in Dublin,Ga to be delivered today. Now I find out it didnt travel the 60 miles to FedEx location in Macon for delivery but is now in Ellenwood, Ga and delivery is late. Im not clear on the logistics but with gas prices going up and up seems to be more intelligent to ship a package 60 miles for delivery instead of 193 miles out of the way for the same result. Needless to say Best Buy has now become Last Buy for me.
This is the place where customer service came to die. I watched all the employees stand around talking to each other, not caring in the least that customers need assistance. I had a lady come up to me, wanting me to sell her an IPad.She actually wound up walking out. I will avoid this place in the future
I ordered a laptop that was on sale for Black Friday weekend. Order was confirmed. A week later they canceled my order & would not price match for a different device, when they made the excuse that the device was no longer available. Well, why is it still available to buy at full price? Dangle the carrot of a good sale, then pull it away & try to get you to pay full price. Yeah, you have lost my business for good.
I like Best Buy. Was trying to buy a new phone. The reason I give a 4 is because I had to make an appt to go back because they didnt have enough qualified employees to help me. When I did go back the employee was cordial and somewhat knowledgeable but not enough. Probably deserves a 3 1/2 stars.
I have had many good experiences here, and have shopped here during Christmas time almost every year for my entire life. Its a pretty good store, well-organized, with pretty helpful and generally kind employees. Good selection. Not sure if they price match, but Id they dont, look on Amazon because it is probably cheaper (especially games, I believe). I did have one really awful experience last year when an item was shelved/stocked improperly, I thought it was considerably cheaper than it was because of that, and when I went to check out and had to explain this I got no apology or really anything besides a blank stare. I had to walk backwards through a whole line of people (who asked what was up and if I broke something) to go re-shelve the item myself when I told the cashier I didnt have enough money. I know some stores have policies where if its improperly shelved like that you get it at the price it appears to be. I just wish he wouldve at least gone to the section of the store and looked at the mislabeled shelf. I was mortified. Now Im giving 4 stars though because of so many other good experiences over the years. Bygones.
Now I usually would give Best Buy 5 stars hands down but today ....I would probably just say go elsewhere. I bought a phone that was supposedly compatible with my phone carrier turns out my carrier doesnt accept the phone ...ok...so I am wasting my time and gas having to go back to Best buy which it took me atleast a hour to get help my first visit and someone else walked out but I have more patience, I went back to return the phones and there questioning the items I havent even opened,next the non compatible device they want to charge me a $45 restocking fee which I can see if it was compatible with my company carrier it wouldnt be a problem but I have no use for this phone and you are trying to take my hard earned money which this is my only day off and I have wasted my gas just to return this phone and the customer service representatives and manager are really looking and acting as if I have cause them an inconvenience .... after I use my gift card with them I may be done because I can choose where I shop and how Im treated!
If I could give this place a negative 5 stars I would... hands down the worst customer service in Georgia..I went in with $5,000 to purchase a QLED SMART TV, A STAND AND HAVE ANOTHER TV MOUNTED ON MY WALL...THESE PPL WERE SO RUDE, IGNORING THE VERY FEW CUSTOMERS THAT WERE THERE THAT DAY AND WHEN I ASKED FOR THE STORE MANAGER THEY SEND OVER LIL DAY DAY FROM THE HOOD, SHIRT NOT TUCKED IN, (LOOKING A FOOL TO BE ANY MANAGER)..WE TOLD HIM HOW HIS STAFF ACTED TOWARDS ASSISTING US AND HE WAS STARING AT US AS IF WE WENT TO BEST BUY AND ORDERED A HAMBURGER! I WOULDNT GIVE MY BUSINESS TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT FOR ALL THE TEA IN CHINA JUST BECAUSE THEY ALLOW SUCH HERENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE TO EXIST IN ONE OF THEIR STORES! I TOOK PICS OF HOW THEY WERE STANDING AROUND. THEIR WAS WAY MORE STAFF THAN CUSTOMERS AND THEIR BEHAVIOR WAS INEXCUSABLE..AND THEY WONDER WHY PPL SHOP ONLINE HUH???
The absolute BEST customer service! My 65 in Samsung television which I bought on black Friday almost 2 years ago (with a 2 year warranty...)developed a black line down the middle about 3 weeks ago. I called best buy and they set an appointment up to come and look at it. Well they said it would have to be repaired. I honestly did not want a repaired tv because I felt like it would just bring more problems down the line. But to my relief they said I could get a brand new tv. It was the same model but upgraded and less expensive! They also added another 2 year warranty on and with all that I still ended up with a store credit that never expires!
Best Buys is the last one. A place you can go and touch, feel, and listen to the different products available.How long will they last? If you love Macon stop buying online from the devil Amazon. Go on down to BestBuys and tell them what your looking for, just like Ace Hardware they will take the time and show you all the different options available.As I drive around Macon I see nothing but a dying town. Our government officials took what could have been a must stop kinda town to a pass through we have enough gas to make Savannah or Florida.Macon you over looked your greatest asset, a river. Macon should have a mini dupe River Street like Savannah. not our civil servants they built hwy roads over it or train tracks along it.Wake up. Fix your city, by creating a place that compliments downtown.
This was the LAST TIME I ever ordered from BestBuy. Ordered the item, paid for it, the item arrived broken, so the techs took it back. It took 3 hrs on the phone and 3 rescheduling times because nobody notified BestBuy that the item was broken upon arrival. Called back again today, was told delivery would be another 6 weeks from now. Canceled my order, will buy from item Lowes instead. At least they have it in stock. And.. was told I have to wait another billing cycle to get a refunds. $2,000 is a huge amount and you guys holding my money for something you dont even have in stock is plain rediculous! Would never buy from BestBuy again!
I purchased the Geek Squad protection to have my laptop serviced. After being lost, it was handed to me with all the screws missing, still half disassembled, and missing a CD door cover. Services I was told would be covered were not, but a manager said he would make an acception. I refused to retrieve it until properly assembled and parts found. They never were. They were substituted and the door covered is suppose to be ordered. Someone was apparently hacking parts. This was the worst experience Ive ever had with them. Its 5 year old $1000 HP laptop computer. My only problem was the charging part which I supplied. I was refunded the tech support fee and waiting for a door cover.
Ask about a products price to an associate and she told me it was the price that was marked I get to the register and its a $100 more the lady at the register said its put in the wrong place so you just have to put it back If you dont want to pay the $159 for it then put it back I do believe they should have compromised Since it was their mistake and worked with me on that product since the associate told me it was that price. But its OK I wont go back to this Best Buy....
This Best Buy is a decent store compared to others. They usually have well updated stock on their website and the staff is typically friendly and knowledgeable. I give it 4 stars, because checking out is a nightmare. They often have no cashiers at normal registers and the Customer Service desk is typically backed up with people needing product help plus the regular customers trying to check out there. Do wear a mask as at the time of this review the store requires them for everyone.
Usually a nice store, have seen the wait times for help at this store increasing due to lower staffing I guess. I went to look at laptops today, was told give an associate about five minutes. I waited about 20. Got bored and started looking around the store. I didnt really need the help but I did have a few questions I can just google them later. This review is for anyone visiting, if you dont have that much patience, best to order online.
The person at the front asked us if we needed any help. I said yes, were buying a TV. After heading back to the TVs, my wife and I spent over a half hour looking at TVs, deciding on one, and finding out (via the internet) that they didnt have that one in stock.An associate finally came back there to help a couple of guys looking for coax cable and, when I asked for help, he said Youre in the queue. I dont know how long this queue was but wed been there for over a half hour and there were about six people in the store (not including the handful of employees milling around up front).We finally found another TV, we dragged it up to the front by ourselves and upon getting in line, the manager said let me get someone with a cart to help you with that. I assume she meant to move it the less than ten feet to the register.This store has absolutely atrocious customer service and they couldnt care less about the people that walk through the door.
I am not a tech geek in fact I am pretty lost with technology. Went to get a glass face sheild for my phone a charging block for a C something or other and a cable. Thank goodness there was a wonderful sales associate ready and able to help me. I will definitely shop there again. A lot more reasonable than a cellphone store.
Geek Squad staff went above and beyond for me to repair my iphone. Wish I could say the same for apple and tmobile. But at least best buy employee Trey cared about getting me up and running since my phone was only 3 weeks old and completely stopped working. Thank you Trey!!
Our journey started at Best Buy in Warner Robins. Of course they were out of stock on the mouse we needed so we looked online and saw Macon Best Buy had 1 in stock. We called to make sure they had one in stock before driving all the way to Macon. After sitting on hold for 5 minutes we thought we would take the gamble. Just for fun we stayed on the line to see if anyone answered. 28 minutes later we pulled up at the Best Buy in Macon. Keep in mind no one has answered our call yet. My husband goes inside to purchase the mouse and asks the associate(while still on hold mind you) what the deal was with the hold time. Her first answer...what Im supposed to do about that? Her second answer....we dont answer the phone here. It goes to a hub. Stunning customer service guys! No wonder Amazon is putting you out of business.
I just came from Best Buy. I only wanted to buy a Ring Doorbell and needed help in selecting the right one. I was told to wait until I was called and then someone would help me. I waited and waited and finally another clerk asked if I needed help. I said yes, and she asked what I needed help with. I told her and she instructed me to go to that department and someone would meet me there. No one ever came so after 30 minutes I left.Worst customer service ever!!! A complete waste of my time.If I could I would not give this business even one star. F-
Their check in system is was really bad. Waited forever, checked in with person helping another customer who confirmed someone should be with me soon. There walking around section finally found one of the things I needed, gave up and left. There at least 30 minutes with no help and not very many customers there.👎
Came in for trouble with my phone case that I purchased a few months ago. Glenn made a stressful situation great. Never had this good of an experience from another Best Buy. Top notch service. I love best buy! They typically have everything that a techie, such as myself, could ever want. My experience here was weird, to put it nicely. My handicapped father-in-law and I wanted a gaming laptop. Greeted by friendly staff upon entrance. We found the perfectly priced and featured laptop. Well in order to get it they put you in a queue on their system to help customers in a orderly fashion. Fair enough. 10 minutes later nothing. Look around the place, grab a few items that I needed. Waited some more. Looked around to see other families waiting also. One angered guy had been waiting for 30 minutes just to get a smart watch. 15 minutes later, that call me. I tell them that I want the laptop that is on the front end cap. Nope, sold out. Ok, fine! Can I get the smaller one next to it. Sold out too. Nearby stores are sold out as well. So we settle on another, more expensive one and wait another 5-10 minutes for someone to bring our helpful associate the key to get the laptop. Throughout the whole experience the staff seemed confused as to who was doing what or where they were suppose to be doing. Maybe its the holiday shopping time. I dont know but Ill try shopping here again when its not a busy season.
I went in a week ago to inquire about a laptop battery and was informed I needed a geeksquad appointment. Ok so I make an appointment for the following week because I typically only travel to the area once a week. I told the associate who scheduled my appointment exactly what I was needing done....MacBook battery replacement. Get to my appointment and find out they dont do Apple products. Is there a reason they couldnt tell me that when I made the appointment a week ago? Save me the time...and I couldve looked for another solution a week ago. Ugh.
Went to this location yesterday.Waited almost 30 mins before i got helped and then when i saw an employee standing around not doing anything I asked was he available?He got an attitude like i was bothering him or something.Talked to manager and he rectified situationbut after being disrespected and having to stand around waiting on customer service for so longI will not return to this location.Will shop online or go to another location from now on!!
This best buy is a joke im from Miami and over there you can buy anything you want with out Making an appointment here the service was bad 👎 I came in to buy a phone and they said I needed an appointment I went home made an appointment and the next day they said I cant buy a unlocked phone without subscribing to a carrier when I went to the store located in miami they gave it to me. this store wasted my time dont go there.
Waited around the store for over 30 minutes to try and get someone to help me find the item I wanted. Could never get any help so I just ordered online and went and did some other shopping and bike they got the order ready. Spent another 30 minutes to pick up my online order.
The worst Best Buy in Georgia. We waited 30 minutes for someone to come to the apple section. When someone finally walk over they ask to put our name on a wait list in and said it will be an additional 30 min wait. We saw multiple employees walking around doing absolutely nothing. Horrible!
Upon walking into the store, I was told that they was working in diminished capacity and if I needed help. I should come back to the front and get help. I found the up front honesty very valuable so I didnt have to stand around in the middle of the store looking for someone to help me. It really did make things alor smother.
6/24/2021 updateI actually found a tv here that i had no chance of getting on Amazon Prime Day, very competitive prices! Unfortunately, the best deal remained Walmart but Walmart will not carry it upstairs, lol.----------Best buy has improved a lot. At my last visit, the store was quite crowded. There is a pre-registration type procedure and you are routed to the appropriate department. The staff in the audio, video and appliance areas are quite knowledgeable. I did not give 5 stars because the washing machine section had limited in store models, but that is to be expected. Difficult also to tell true quality of the tvs and audio because you do not know how well the devices have been calibrated. Great place to get information and browse bit research before you make a big purchase.
Guys. This is insane. Never, ever purchase appliances from Best Buy. What a mess.We purchased a washer and dryer from Best Buy for $1400 that they have never delivered and refuse to refund our money for. They called us the morning of to say the washer they were going to deliver was so heavily damaged that it was un-deliverable and we would need to reschedule. It has now been 8 days since the non-delivery and they will not let us reschedule or refund us. They acknowledge someone force marked the products as delivered in error. Despite acknowledging this was a mistake, they have been unable to refund us, reschedule a delivery, or even just correct the system to not show the item as delivered. I have called every day for answers, and each day theyve told me with assurance the problem will be fixed within 24 hours. Nothing has been fixed or even changed at all at this point, and they have no further help to provide.It appears we are in Groundhogs Day-style limbo with them holding onto our money *and* the products. They refuse to escalate our case to someone with refund authority. Is this Best Buys customer service standard? Im shocked.Stay away
Good service friendly associates who know the products they are selling. They do not pressure you into buying. I guess they are on a decent wage and not relying upon commission. It is nice to not have a salesperson pushing you to buy something you may not want or need. We were looking at appliances and thought one was messed up when we asked an associate and he showed us it was actually a special feature that made good sense. We were delighted with our experience. I had been in earlier the same week to help my teenager but a new cell phone. The associate who helped us there was equally knowledgeable about the products in her section. She had the new phone setup and running in very short order. She explained everything quite well and got us out quickly.
I was picking up a curbside order today (due to store stipulations). I ensued a bit of a wait for my online order, however after noticing I had been waiting awhile Trustina (hope I got the name right) came happily to my aid. I was so grateful for her customer service delivery. Thanks for paying attention and observing the parked cars with a great attitude!
Staffer asked if she could assist me. I described the item I was in need of and she immediately began searching the store inventory on a Point of Sale computer. She was kind, courteous and enthusiastically helpful. She successfully found the item I was in need of and because of her, I will patronize this Best Buy before seeking out any other business with similar products. Well done!
Sold me an open box laptop that was missing its charger. They refused to let me return it even though they had just brought it out to my car through curbside pickup. I just wasted 3 hours driving to this best buy trying to buy a laptop to take an exam by 12 tonight (GSU) and Im going to have to make a 2 hour round trip journey to Gwinett tomorrow to see if I can exchange the laptop for something functional. Im incredibly disappointed in the quality of the product, and the managers complete failure to reconcile such a crummy deal
Over priced on many things ( can only speak on things Ive looked at not everything ) and it seems that many of the employees dont really know where stuff is located. I went today hunting for something that I didnt want to wait on so was going to buy. I had to ask 3 people and went to 3 different areas of the store before finally finding an empty spot where item shouldve been. I left empty handed and just finished ordering off line
Considering how empty their parking lot was you think they would have better customer service. Everything they sell I can order online or get at Walmart at a better price. Looks like they are going to be the next brick and morter store to go under since they dont care about customer service.
Love this best buy! I purchased my washer and dryer from them online and they delivered it and installed both machines before giving me instructions about how to prepare the machines before the first load. Best investment Ive ever made and I will definitely purchase from them again especially if I need anything installed!
I went and upgraded some things for the business and had the pleasure of working with Jerel. He was amazing, very informative, funny, and has a welcoming spirit. All the questions I had even comparing products. He assisted me and actually listened. I will be back cause I went to Jerel at Best Buy. Thank you for your help. I love my iPad and pencil.
Best Buy just isnt the same as it was in the days of old! Maybe its the all inclusive shift to less brick and mortar stores as well as inventory in those stores over to the seemingly preferred method of today...Online shopping and site to store shipping, next day delivery, and 2 day shipping. I gotta give best buy credit for changing up their approach in store and being very customer service/care oriented especially since covid came about. But I do miss the old best buy with a million tvs playing whatever a massive tv taking up the entire back wall of the store made up by several individual tvs. Car and home audio booming as their sampled. Kids trying out new video games and consoles provided by best buy right in the aisle with the games. People over sampling CDs with headphones on dancing and singing. Yep, the good ol days.
They always have the best customer service when I go there. I was looking for a laptop but I did not want to spend over a certain amount. They did not have anymore laptops within my budget. Although the sales representative could have tried up-selling me on a more expensive laptop, he didnt. He listened to me and understood that I was on a tight budget and really did not have any wiggle room for anything more. He instead recommended me to another store that had it. I just thought that was awesome because he did not care about just making a sale he cared more about building a trusted relationship with his customers. Although I did not buy my laptop from them, I did come back to purchase all of my laptop accessories and antivirus. His outstanding customer service brought me back into the store to shop.
Marques Butler on the Geek Squad is an excellent employee. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I love how he handled my case and another case without missing a beat. Let Me Tell You Folks the customer service here is fantastic! We went in to buy a TV and had someone help us right away who was very knowledgeable. Once we realized the TV wouldnt fit in our vehicle the wonderful customer service lady said she could ship it to a store near us! Within a couple of hours we got notification that our TV was ready to pick up at a store near our home! Im telling you folks in Macon customer service is hard to find and this store has nailed it!
Great customer service. I dont like to be hovered by sales staff, but found one with minimal effort at the right time. Needed a wireless router, and there seemed to be a continuum of features and prices from $79 to $499. Salesman was able to help me sort through for a good fit for my situation. I will return as needed.
If Warren had not asked if I needed help as I walked toward the door, I would have left & this would have been a ONE star review! Some fellow stops you when you come in the door, gets info on what youre there for & your name. Then sends you to the wrong dept. I got info there to the correct dept but couldnt find what I needed. Then... Warren came into the picture. Very helpful! Took me to the place I needed to be to start with. But they still didnt have what I needed. 😒
No one to assist customers, once next in line, was told we had to go back to the front entrance and sign up for assistance. (?????) Once it was our turn, we were told oh, we never keep any laptops in stock but we can have it here in a few days. NOT!!! We drove over 120 miles round trip as it was critical we had a laptop by yesterday evening. Needless to say....no laptop! We lost our 4,000 sq ft home in a fire 7/4/2020 and will rebuild but will not even give Best Buy the opportunity to bid. We also have to replace 8-LED, 4K TVs from 55 to 86 all with sound systems along with Bose indoor and our side speakers back deck, side patio, pool and pool house. Three to 4 door fridge/freezer, 28 cu ft upright freezer, pedestal washer/ dryer pair, 6-eye Jenn- Aire Drop in range with middle griddle. Double wall oven, minimum of 1 convection, installed crushed ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, trash compactor, robot vacs and Dyson regular and cordless.. We actually lost 3 laptops but will probably only replace 2. You know, if a customer in my business was looking at all of these items to purchase, my sales consultants would be all over it. That is the difference between the Big Box, We Don Give a Damn about you companies and those like The that built their reputation on customer service. I hate to see a lot of the tenured employees jumping ship because its just not the Employee Owned company it was before the new Regime took over. Customer Service makes all the difference in the world.
The sales associate whose name is Princess help us from start to finish buying an iPhone 11, and she was very patient with all the questions I asked, and she was very nice and caring. She made sure everything worked before we left and she has a very positive attitude.
The staff here always seem helpful. The layout of the store is easy to navigate. I feel while some parts of the store have been updated with a more modern look other parts feel a bit dated. They sell most computer parts one would need for a basic build, but not many special items. Home theater is much more in depth here. They also have a pretty large selection of appliances.
My very expensive television was supposed to be delivered last weekend. I received a call on the delivery day that they needed to cancel and we set it up for the next weekend. Ive waited 5 hours and no sign of Best Buy. I called the number that had called me to confirm yesterday and was told they wouldnt make it today. I felt since they cancelled last weekend, Id be at the first one to install today. I wanted to call the store manager but cant get through with their automated phone system. Livid!
We came looking for a laptop. We had a general idea of what we wanted, but we received a bunch of help which helped us to finalize our decision. I really enjoyed my experience at this store. I felt like the layout of the store was strange because computers are usually towards the back of the store, but here computers are near the entrance to the right.
Bestbuy is still a nice store to visit for certain things. Their problem is they dont specialize in anyone thing. And so their stock is limited to just a few of each item and thus very lacking. If they have what you need in store I love going there to get things same day and to even look at things before I buy but the limited stock has on multiple occasions caused me to add things to my Amazon cart while in the store.
The gentleman i spoke with about a new laptop was so helpful. I walked in there without much knowledge on what I needed and he understood everything that I was throwing at him. I walked out with a brand new laptop that was perfect for me at 400 dollars under average retail because of a discount code he offered that i had no idea about. Great place good people and clean restrooms!
Prices are high but u can find good deals. Employees are extremely helpful. They take the time to help with whatever you are looking for make sure you are satisfied. Also very knowledgeable. Had someone really spend time explaining how the laptop I was looking at worked. I recommend going to this best buy.
Im so glad Best Buy is only 15 minutes from my home. I like going there. The staff is great and the browsing atmosphere is outstanding. Im one of those people who like the savings of open-box deals. So I might visit the store without making a purchase.The staff knows me if not by name, by face and I always receive courteous service.
Went in to look at parts for a pc build I am working on. I pretty much know the parts I want. There were 6 plus associates in the area and the store was not busy. Out of all the associates, not one associate said so much as hello until we were leaving. I bought my daughter a small toy she had picked up, otherwise I wouldnt have spent a dime. The cashier was friendly.
I have scheduled three appointments to have my washing machine, under warrenty, repaired. The repairmen did not show up on the schduled dates. The store keeps promising each time they will honor the appointment but nothing materializes. This is the 3rd appointment. The Law of Threes applies. Congradulations, Best Buys, youve lost a regular customer.
Way over priced on most everything! A few decent priced TVs here and there but you have to look there spread out in different places on the sales floor. The 10 foot customer rule doesnt seem to exist here. Whats the 10 foot rule? Glad you asked, if a customer is within 10 feet you speak to them such as hello can I help you find something?, Are you locating everything you need? What project are you working on etc... Out of roughly 12+ associates I had 2 speak and that was up front at the register the asset protection guy and the cashier. Any associate of mine caught not speaking would be called to the back. Your prices are rather high for the average consumer so customer service is very important not to mention big box stores are slowly fading away and more purchasing is happening online. So I would think every attempt to make the customer have a Wow experience needs to be made.
Electronic employees are very informative of software and hardware thru my experience very helpful most places don’t even know what they have on there shelves it’s always nice to know more about what you are buying. Items are reasonably priced as well and that makes a pleasant shopping experience. Will return for future buys of my devices. The bar is set here.
Don’t buy any open box items from them and plan to take them back even if you didn’t take the item out of the box. They will be quick to charge you a restocking fee. Ive never had this experience before out of all my times I’ve shopped at BestBuy for myself or my Business. The staff are great but they have no control on making it right for the customer. Stay Away!
Great selection and great pricing, plus theyll match Amazons price on most items. Employees are helpful, though sometimes a little over enthusiastic and have a hard time understanding that some people know technology very well and already know what they want. All in all through, great place to buy anything electronic if you want Amazons price but dont want to wait on shipping.

After purchase, looked online to find out that I had gotten the best deal on this TV even when comparing to online competitors. Excellent experience in my book from one salesperson to another!
Much better service in the Samsung center than I received approximately 4 years ago! This time the female employee took all the time I needed to resolve a problem! She was very pleasant, knowledgeable and explained everything very well! I will return much sooner now!!!!
This is a small Best Buy and maybe in need of a remodel. The staff here have been friendly and helpful upon all my visits here. I may buy a lot of goods online but it’s nice to have a brick and mortar store like this to be able to buy big ticket items and to see some of those things in person.
Business was slow went in early evening bought an $800.00 laptop. Staff had no interest in helping. Very slow and incompetent. Xavier was useless in helping with coupons or educating on student discounts. My experience was poor. I highly recommend shopping at a different location or trying another company all together.
So...did a online purchase today at the macon best buy...I hope things get better for my guy that was working the pick up area...I understand that its a difficult time right now...but when youre bringing out a purchase you may not want to huff and puff at a customer and slam their doors. Not a real good show of customer service....
The website said something was out, but I was persistent and asked an employee. She looked and it turned out there was one left in the store! I was so happy she looked hard to find one because it was a gift for my dad and it was a little (really) too close to Christmas to get it offline. Great customer service and very informative.
The Best Buy in Macon was amazing, the staff helped us find everything that we needed very quickly. We found everything in 5 minutes or les.When it came time to checkout at the register, the staff asked us if we would like a protection plan and we said yes. They explained how it worked and everything.We were in and out of the store for no more than a round 20 ish minutes.
Best buy is one of my favorite stores. Im a huge fan of gadgets, games, and electronics so that helps. What really makes this store great though is how helpful the staff is Everytime Ive had a problem or needed help they were willing to go above and beyond to help me out.
They might as well close best buys down there is no use staying open. If you schedule an online appointment to go inside what they dont tell you is they only let 2 people in the store at once. Every other retailer is fully open for business with minimal restriction. You can not shop for some devices and items without viewing them. If you want to order something might as well use a service such as Amazon to do you electronics shopping. I will never set foot in a best buy location even after the covid-19 is over due to the shopping experience they are pushing. Best word of advice is to order your items and stay home no use in wasting your time trying to drive to the location not to be able to get in.
I love that Best Buy is still open and carries most of the electronic items I would want. It is hard for brick and mortar stores to compete with online businesses. I like to be able to go and look at things in person and they do a good job to match most online prices so I try to support the local businesses when I can. They also have good return prices and good folks to help answer questions.
In store visit went well. Salesperson was very knowledgeable, helpful and interested in getting me what I wanted and needed. Great job! However, I had a question about setup after I got home. I tried to call the store numerous times during normal business hours and no one answered.
Bought a TV from the Macon ga store and asked the sales person at least 3 times before making my final decision to buy an open box TV for a discounted price if there was anything wrong with it and was assured over and over that it was either only a damaged packaging or a store display model and that it was fully functional and not missing anything out of the box, the only difference in the open box TV and the sealed boxes was just that the box, and the price. Needless to say after the hour and a half drive home I begin to unpack it to find that its missing the stand and the remote control. I now remember why I havent shopped in that store in the last 10 years and itll be even longer before I go back. Make them show you every thing is there before you leave the store or dont buy it
Appliance delivery service did not show up for the scheduled appointment, and did not make any attempt to contact me - making me take off a day of work for nothing. This store refused to answer any phone calls, and the online customer service did nothing apart from try to move the date out another 3 weeks!
This Best Buy is pretty awful in terms of customer service. Most of the time you will be unable to find an employee to help you or you will have to go and find the spot where they have decided to congregate to have a conversation. This is not an isolated experience. It has happened multiple times to me. There are very few places in the area to shop for tech so Im pretty much stuck.
Went to Best Buy to purchase a new router and JB came to help. I appreciated how knowledgeable he was in giving advice on the best router for my setup. Made me feel confident with my purchase and after I installed my device, was happy with the decision. Thank you JB and thank you best buy.
Im so happy for Google! We were hungry and wanted Southern options for breakfast and decided to try H&H. Best choice! If I lived in Macon, I would find myself here each Saturday morning I was up and out before 2p. I tried the Chank with pork chops and was definitely not disappointed.
Macon Ga store has went downhill, the last three times I have went there , not one person has bothered to approach me to ask if I needed any help whatsoever. The cell phone accessories are so scattered out, the layout is horrible. I have had to hunt someone down twice in a row to ask where certain things were located, and thats after I searched on my own for over 15 mins. The Inventory as a whole use to be plentiful, now the shelves are mostly bare. I have said more than once that I would not return but I always give them the benefit of the doubt and once again I am sadly disappointed.
I hate that the place has turned into a showroom floor for the giant brands and seems to stock less of enthusiast products. I still enjoy wandering around and window shopping (with some occasional real shopping thrown in), but it feels like only the perimeter of the sales floor has the soul of what I liked about Best Buy.
Horrible staff, horrible management. At one time, I wanted to price match Amazon. The customer service rep said they couldnt, I told them Amazon was listed on their price match policy. They said they couldnt. Management also said they couldnt. I called Best Buy Corporate, and they said that wasnt true. If you need someone to help you out, they never seem to be around or want to help.
These are the most unprofessional, lying , inconsiderate group of people who work for this company, especially the store in Macon Ga. Customer service is a joke, again liars unprofessional inconsiderate misleading people and company that I have dealt with in a long time . They will lie to you to get you to buy a particular product and LIE and say they have it in stock , and they reschedule the delivery several times , only to find out it was even in stock they just wanted to make the sale. The only reason I am giving 1 star is because you cant post a review without one , YOU DESERVE 0 STARS
Lack of service and when you find a sales rep finally they seem to be doing you a favor by having to answer a question but have no fear, their will be one at the door to harass you to make sure you havent stole anything. Order from Amazon cause Best Buy on its way out.
It seems to me that the floor staffing has become lackadaisical in the way they deal with customers. This location was always pro-active towards their customers in the past. Now if you observe them when they are not aware of being watched you will observe their sullen attitudes and the dour expressions. They seem not to want to put forth the effort or at the very least appear excited and engaged.
I must say it was very refreshing to come to this location. everyone was so courteous and willing to go above and beyond to help. I came in about 20 minutes before closing and received the same service Im sure I would have gotten had I come in during the day. I really do appreciate all your help I had a problem at the location on Watson the two times I visited there
We went there looking for laptops and were disappointed on many counts. First of all, the whole time we were there (and we spent at least 30 minutes looking around), no one bothered to offer us any help. Half the laptops were locked (with passwords known only to employees), which made it rather difficult to try them out, and the woman we asked to unlock them only unlocked one or two and acted like it was an imposition to do so. And to top matters off, every single laptop they have at this store is an outdated piece of crap. Having done research online beforehand, I knew exactly what models I was looking for, all of which were fairly new, well-known, well-selling models--and they had NONE of them. Instead, they had laptops with Intel Pentium and Intel Celeron processors. Really, Best Buy? Really?Go to the one in Warner Robins instead. We ended up going there and were FAR happier with the results. Much better selection and much better customer service. Avoid the Macon Best Buy at all costs.
I I bought a radio for my car at Best Buy they told me that the installation would be free in wanna robins Georgia I could not get in contact with anybody in Macon or Warner robins to set up installation for my car radio poor customer service I will never buy anything else from Best Buy
Worst Company to buy anything. If you dont BUY their extended warranty, then they will NOT replace the product you purchased from them. Even if it is 4 months old. They will make you contact the manufacturer, when they have the product in stock. WHAT HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER RELATIONS.I run a company and I will not make my clients BUY good service from me. They get it the old fashioned way. They deserve it.
A store that is slowly losing me as a customer. I have lost interest in going to look for discs as their inventory of catalog titles is nonexistent. Computers and audio/visual components are about the only thing left to shop for and prices are generally better at Amazon.
Good experience with great help from the floor staff and tech department. Theyve got a replacement glass cover for your cellphone that costs about the same as Verizons but its lifetime guarantee that can be replaced in the store and not have to mail anything or pay any shipping.
Best Buy in Macon is the WORST. Both times sending off my laptop to be repaired took three wks or more and both time they didnt put the screws back in the laptop. They said they were going to order the screws and call me when they are in. Two wk went by without one phone call. I called and found out the screws where never ordered. During this time my son was homeschooled. In order for him not to get behind or fail I had to purchase another laptop asap from Walmart. One day I spoke to a real person who said my laptop had been repaired and is ready for pickup. To make sure it was ready, I tried calling the actual local store 4 time but they NEVER answered. I went across town to the Best Buy store just to find out the laptop was in the store but it wasnt unpacked. 20 minutes after getting home they called saying, Oh, you can come get you laptop now. After sending a long email to the General manager I received another new laptop. Walmart is cheaper and the quality is just as good. If you think youre going to call Best Buy with a problem, forget it. I will NEVER buy from Best Buy EVER again. SO OVERRATED!!!
Last Saturday we went to look at car stereos and after several attempts and over 30 minutes, could not get anyone to wait on us. They charge a hefty fee for installation now too. Will not try there again! Kens Audio and Audio Zoo offer good deals and installation and most of all, customer service!
Its not a bad place but the quality has dropped over the years and its not what it use to be. Customer service is subpar and pricing is a bit high but they are the alternative to online retailers. I would do some pricing research and they may do some price matching to help with the high prices. I would avoid going anytime after 6 they arent fully staffed it seems and makes the experience that much more difficult.
Worst experience I’ve ever had shopping. I WAS buying a DJI Osmo mobile from Warner Robins Georgia Store location. Checked online and called store to make sure item was in stock. Both inquiries said yes it was in store. Drove 30 minutes To the store and the item wasnt there. Was then sent to the Macon location but I called and checked online to be sure before I drove a hour to the other location. Both inquiries said yes the item was in stock. At the Macon store, I was given an empty box. At checkout I wanted to be sure the charger was included and it was EMPTY. Then I was told they couldn’t sell the one they had in the store because it was display and the manager didn’t have a key. Well damnit I’ve spent two days driving around when I could’ve just ordered it and had it by now. The manager on night staff wasn’t concerned that I’d gone waaayyy out of my way to do business not to mention the item was essential to MY business. I am a professional videographer and when I was told my item was in stock I planned my work accordingly. My client is from 12 hours away and will be here in the morning. I am out thousands of dollars because of their mistakes and I enevitaby will lose my client. That’s not to mention the bad attitude I was treated with was totally unprofessional and very pathetic from Both store locations. If you are planning on going to do business with Best Buy do not darken the doors of either location. You are welcome.
Had to wear a respirator due to this blown out of proportion scare of covid 19. I do have a certified respirator to wear as I believe that a face covering needs to be one that actually works the thin masks are nothing more than a reach of governmental power and control.
Rudy, born and Scotland, was my rep. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and adept at recommending the correct monitor for my photography business. I had a very pleasant experience at the store and I am enjoying my new LG 29 inch wide screen monitor as well as new speakers and ethernet cord.
I was looking for a particular Nikon camera. As usual, I had a hard time getting anyone to help me. When I finally did track down an employee, the young lady told me they only carried the trendy cameras and that the one I was looking for was too expensive (there were two cameras on display that were more expensive than the one I wanted).
Ugh! Service was horrible!!! ☹️ the little boy didn’t have a clue & definitely didn’t care. Be bout and open box item, he charged us full price. We didn’t realize until we got home (40 miles away) called the store, they didn’t seem to care that service was horrible. So we found another store and went there to get everything corrected, the other store was amazing. This store needs employees who actually want to be there and knows their stuff. I have no plans to return to the Macon store 😒
It is Best Buy. From now on I will always buy their warranty plan on all electronics. You cant beat it. LGs warranty SUCKS!!!!! Bought their newest 65 had it 70 days the main board went out on June 4th here it is June 11th my TV still isnt fixed and they wont let me take it anywhere except this one company. TV was awesome but their warranty and customer service SUCK
How does BB even stay in business? Everything they carry is available online at a fraction of the price. If you dont have an iPhone or Galaxy dont even bother going to the mobile accessories section. I guess if you absolutely need something NOW youll pay the premium and deal with the horrible selection.
JUST GO TO WALMART OR APPLE! AMAZON, eBay anything but BESTBUY!! Ordered something End of December thinking it would take a couple days at the max, talked to a rep who told me it would be Jan 5. Went to the store still waiting, they sent me to the Warner Robins Store because they had another iPad that I would settle for since the one I ordered wasn’t in stock and no one had a direct day it would come( 2 weeks after the order has been placed). Warner Robins store was no help! At least Macon had some nice customer service reps (Not All)
It was the worst experience Ive ever had at Best buy.you have to sign in when you come into the store in order to get help in the computer.When I try to give my opinion to the representative sitting at the door that the some of the policies need to change and his comments were I only work here.
Awful Experience......As if there werent enough reasons to exclusively shop online, now there is no refuting the reasons.I have always been a fan of BestBuy for tech buys. Simply because you can see, touch, and experience watch your looking at vs online. For this reason, I always read reviews online like everyone else and generally purchase in store. Im fine with paying a few extra bucks because I understand its brick and mortar.Well, my BestBuy shopping days are officially over. My sweet 70yrd old father bought me a GoPro 5 fro my birthday. The newest model mind you. I have a GoPro 4 and he heard me becoming aggravated with it while messing with its functions. He decided to purchase me a new one from BestBuy thinking something was wrong with it. Hardly the case. Since, I wasnt exactly ready for an upgrade I decided to just EXCHANGE it for an in-store credit/gift card. It was a gift so I didnt have a receipt but no worries, I thought to myself. Im not expecting cash back. I was fine with a gift card that, as it turns out, I was planning to use THAT DAY towards the purchase of the largest TV they have. Naturally, I was going to have to add cash with the gift card.The GoPro was unopened, not scratched, etc. Before heading in to the store I reluctant to ask my dad about the receipt knowing how uncomfortable that sort of thing is with gifts. I was excited when he said he still had the bag assuming the receipt was in the bag. No such luck. I will admit, Im surprised the ole man had the bag.I was impassively told by Tracy, the store manager, that without the receipt nothing would be issued. I reiterated to Tracy that I certainly dont expect cash back, that all I was in search of was a store credit...thinking the sales associate must have misunderstood me. He once again denied the store credit. I mentioned that I was going to be purchasing a TV that very day in which additional funds would need to be provided by me. My wife was planning to browse the laptops while I was purchasing/loading the TV.After the third no, I asked what are my remedies at this point to Tracy, his response.....I dont know what to tell you. They even scanned it to make sure it rang up in their system. Naturally, it did.Not only did they specifically lose a large TV sale that day, but a possible laptop sale, and most certainly 2 customers. Ive always sang the praises of BestBuy but this experience has pushed me away. Online purchases only from here on out.

2022-07-30Best buys has a new policy get a number and put name on a list at the door or wait totally ignored at the counter you want service at. There were multiple people site seeing we were there to buy. We asked three people for customer no service. All went to help people who came after us. What a loosing propersition. Whatever happened to first come first serviced.This place has gone downhill since covid. This is last of the dinosaurs. Big box stores will extinct soon enough. They may also think about having more than one register opened in a store with 3 to 5 people wanting to check out at the same time. Why offer a 259 service plan on a 450 computer. Sams looks good compared to this place.

2022-06-29I was disappointed when i purchased a lap top open box with excellent condition which cost me more money if i would buy a good one with acceptable condition to find out after receiving it is has a loose screen on the corner and the outer case is open at one of the corners , i had to take it to the nearest Best Buy store near me and it was the one on Presidential Pkwy in Macon Ga even though it was the second attempt to send me my purchase since the first time they created the shipping label without delivering the shipment for 5 days and upon complaining they send the damaged one, really this experience is very disappointing to me since i was a Best Buy loyal customer for over than 17 years.

2022-08-05Now I have heard it all. I just bought something at this store and was asked if I wanted a bag, and was told that THEY WOULD HAVE TO CHARGE ME FOR THE BAG! So Best Buy actually charges their customers to put merchandise they buy there in a bag. What a pathetic excuse for a company! I wont ever buy anything from them again, or even set foot in one of their stores.

2022-04-28Worst experience of 2022!!Bought a TV online. When I went to pick it up, they insisted on loading it into my car so that I wouldnt notice that there was no remote, cord, or feet! And then a hassle to get my money back. Total waste of time. Even WalMart is better than this BestBuy.

2022-05-25Definitely the worst best buy Ive ever been to. Brought my laptop in because I couldnt get it to come on. They wouldnt even plug it into a different charger for me to see if thats the issue. They will if I wait a week however as a over the road truck driver who is 1500 miles from home I dont really feel like living in their parking lot for a week just to even find out if my laptop is bad or not. Figured Id maybe just buy a new one since I have to keep my operation rolling. After pacing the floor in the computer section waiting on someone to help me for over 30 mins I got fed up and left. Wasted an hour of my life here and no further ahead. By far the worst customer service Ive ever seen in a best buy and I go all over the country

2022-07-30Came in to buy a USB C to micro SD adapter. Did not work. Phone would not recognize it. Staff was very unhelpful. Basically said we can refund you thats all.
