I enjoyed a fantastic Swiss cheese and mushroom burger, along with loaded fries and a beer at Black Diamond Grill. The service and food were excellent! Ill definitely return to this sports bar to try more of its menu.
Food is Ok but, they nickel and dime you for everything. Side of ranch was almost $2, split a meal and they charge you a split plate fee of $2.50, ordered the chicken fried chicken with the gravy on the side...charged for a side a gravy. Really?? I didnt order extra, I just ordered it on the side. The split plate fee is a peeve of mine...I didnt get extra food, just wasnt hungry enough for a full meal. I dont plan on returning unless its just for a beer.
Great location. Food was good. My daughter had the shrimp and wing combo plate. Both were pretty good. My son had chicken quesadillas which were also good. I got a plate of that to go. And I had the fish tacos. Now that dish I feel could’ve been better with a little more flavor or a different type of fish. I had to add some things just to give it a lil pop but overall it was ok. The setup was nice as well as our waitress. She was patient and pleasant despite the many hours she states she worked the day before. The place was cool 👌🏽
Three of us went there for lunch on Tuesday. My lobster bisque and squash casserole were wonderful and my friends reuben sandwich was very good. The other friend ordered chicken fingers and she said they tasted like fish. Having been there before I know that is not the usual situation. If it werent for that one hiccup I would have given 5 stars. We will go again and know that it will be good!
Country fried chicken was fresh and crispy and tasted great! was expecting some bland veggies but the steamed vegetables were just as good with nice seasoning and flavor.
Saturday 330pm, friendly and helpful staff, chicken tacos were ok, my daughter had a french dip sandwich which she really liked, wife had a salad with rib-eye and MIL had a cheeseburger.Rib-eye was all grizzle, cheeseburger had no cheese and items ordered on the side were on the burger.
Really great experience at Black Diamond Grill today. All of the staff were very friendly and attentive. But the food was amazing!!! I highly suggest the Ruben and Buffalo Chicken Logs. I wish we were from the area so this could be a regular stop for us.
Almost a fluke that we ate here. Slightly outside our AO but next to a great haircutter we like. First glance is a nice, cool, open sports bar type feel but with lotsa tables. So far so good. Very cheerful greetings as we came in. Seated quickly. Server was on it and very friendly. Guinness on tap! And not too pricey! I like! .. Ordered up a couple dishes, both with blackened grouper. Really surprised at how good both were! I mean really good! Absolutely delicious! One was a blackened grouper over rice with a crawfish sauce. Cant remember the name, sorry. So good! And a lot. Wife couldnt finish it. Other dish was fish tacos, and I chose the blackened grouper for that as well. Possibly some of the best fish tacos Ive had! Did I mention I was surprised? Maybe its a local known but Im not local right there. I will definitely be back!
The Owner Terry screamed at me in front of all our soccer team players for no reason- he was rude, condescending, and it was actually a scary experience. He got right up in my face- family friendly?! NO WAY. I get they are understaffed but there’s no excuse for that kind of behavior. None of the parents on our soccer team will ever eat here again.
Super tasty food, amazing wings (Try Mexi flavor), our waitress was certainly on the slow side and kind of hard to understand, but not to take away from the restaurant itself! Try the fried Mac n cheese appetizer😋
Absolutely awful experience here after coming here for years. They were short staffed & stressed but doesn’t excuse the manager yelling at the mom of a youth soccer team because they were holding tables for the incoming church crowd. Epitome of awful service & we’ll never set foot in the place again.
The worst food and service I have received in a long time. We asked for crispy hot wings. They came out undercooked. We returned the wings. The sent the wings back to us 40 minutes later. They had thrown our wings back in the drier. The were greasy and they had no sauce on the wings. Needless to say, we will never return. No apology for the poor service or food quality.
Great atmosphere, food and service. My kids love the arcade/game room. Great weeknight dinner spot and a favorite on the weekends with our sports teams after the games are over.
Love this place. Its usually busy, parking is tight. The service is great, quick, friendly and attentive. I am a frequent visitor and I prefer the Grouper he likes the Philly. We tried something new tonight with Cajun pasta and the Ruben and likely wont do those again.

Was in the area, and needed a lunch spot that no one would complain about.Got there at 1 on a weekday, and had no wait with our party of 5. Service was quick, and kitchen was even faster. Seemed like we had our food in about 10 minutes. Three of us ordered the big Texan, including me. What a phenomenal burger! Perfect amount of heat, and excessive amounts of cheese. A beautiful combination.We almost skipped the place because it looks like a small strip joint place. When you walk in you realize how wrong that assumption is. The place is huge! If were ever in the area again, we will be back. Thank you!
Used to be great but the managers are now rude and unprofessional. Feel bad for the waiters and cooks at this restaurant now. Hope they get rid of the managers.

First off, props to a sports bar that actually knows how to change the channel to a particular game. Its amazing how many places cant do that!Our service was good overall, they really helped make sure the kids food came out fast. Always a plus.I tried some of my wifes burger and it was pretty solid. A couple downer items though: Claiming the salads come with mixed greens but in reality its just iceberg. Also, charging $6 for beer coming up on a year old is disappointing.
Decent atomsphere, typical sports bar scene. Would recommend the club sandwich, not super filling but very tasty. Also if you want sweet potato fries tell them to add extra.

Had a burger and a bowl of chili and my friend had a BLT. Burger was cooked perfectly and was of good quality, the chili was good also. The Blt was a big sandwich and was good according to my friend. Service was very good and will definitely return to try other things and when I have a taste for a burger. Hard to find a decent burger in the south. Nice place.
Staff is great and attentive. Great experience on a college football Saturday afternoon when they were busy. Food and drinks are consistently good there. Great atmosphere to hang out and watch a game.

The fish tacos were fabulous and their house sauce was amazing. The staff was very kind and attentive and while the food prices look expensive you get a lot of food (you get well what you paid for). I will definitely be back to try some of their other menu items as well!

The food was amazing. My issue is that when we asked for our military discount the only reduced my meal and not my families as if their sacrifice wasnt significant at all. This policy needs to change. I was extremely offended

Food and service was good but this is a sports bar so if you want a good burger and beer and watch a game this is a good place to go. If you want a cocktail or anything else thats not bar food, not so much. I would come back though but with different expectations.

The best I can do is 3-stars. The service and food were of good quality, but I paid $16 for the brocolli and beef over rice and got a toddler size portion. I got one domestic draft and after tip $26. I wont be back.
Sadly, our quest for the most amazing fried pickles IN THE WORLD did not come to fruition tonight. They were made with a pretty big pickle, but the coating was cornmeal. However, the chicken fingers were delicious. Got a little loud towards the end of our stay.

Usually eat here 2-3 times per month with co-workers. After today, we will not return. Food is ok, not great, but not terrible. A little bland. Everything is an up-charge. Want honey mustard to go with your fries? Theres an up-charge for that. Today ordered chicken tenders and sweet potato fries. Chicken came out wet, swimming in grease. Get the bill and its an extra $1.00 for the sweet potato fries, which the waiter, Gavin, did not mention when the order was placed. Funny thing is, on the last page of the menu under sides, the sweet potato fries are cheaper than the steak fries so why should I pay a dollar more to get it with my meal? Ridiculous and the restaurant is just not worth it. In all fairness, Gavin was perfectly polite though he did not offer an apology for not notifying me of the additional charge when I placed my order.
Excellent local establishment, friendly staff, excellent menu choices, wide selection of beer, wine and spirits, lots of TVs for sports and sporting events, lots of seating and has a wonderful family feel to the restaurant. Also if you like to play trivia, they have trivia that starts between 7:00 and 7:30 on Saturday nights!

Really tasty food and great service. I had a bacon cheeseburger with fries and Coke. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and gave some good recommendations to my friends. It’s a good place to hangout with friends and watch sports or to bring your family for a decent dinner.

My friend and I were looking for a place to talk and drink. We sat in the dining area and were helped right away. We never felt rushed and got our drink and apps right away. Im sure it helps that it was a Wednesday night around 8pm. Nonetheless we liked this place a lot and will perhaps make this our hangout spot. We ordered the Purple Haze cocktail, a local beer from Reformation and the Blue Cheese chips.
Food was great! We had the grouper sandwich and basket both were delicious. Kids loved their kids meals too. Will definitely be back!
Dont live here but frequent the area. Decided to give it a try for lunch. They were pretty busy but the crew seemed to work together like family. Even saw kitchen staff and management helping everything run smooth on the floor. Nice,clean, and good food. Good job BD Team!

Happened to try this place today while running around checking out some thrift stores in the area. Food is super mediocre and greasy. I honestly can’t say I’ve ever had “terrible” onion rings I mean usually onion rings are great or they’re just okay but these onion rings were terrible. They were somehow chewy and glistening in grease, almost pretty in the way they sparkled but not what you want out of an onion ring. My sister got lemon pepper wings and was treated to a complimentary side of lemon pepper oil soup at the bottom of her plate. This place could at least invest in some paper towels if they’re going to serve food like they do. Mom got the BLT she said it wasn’t too bad so she was the big winner of the day. I will say the beer looked delicious and my Mr. Pibb was on point though possibly because it was the only reprieve from the food. Would come again to get trashed and watch football but never again for the food.
This establishment has became one of my favorite place to go. First of all , I want to mention how amazing the staff have excellent team work and they work seamlessly. Besides their excellent service, their food is delicious. Their food is notch higher than regular pub places. I love their sandwiches and side dishes. I am aiming to try most of their food in their menu.

Love this place. great portions for a really good priceEdit update: I posted first a year ago and I wanted to say that it has gotten even better. I wish I could post 10 stars now. It has become the destination for me and my wife to grab food and drink while we watch football or soccer and just hang out. We never feel like we are pressured to leave while we sit there for hours watching the game sipping on their amazing beer selection. It has become a staple in our lives for game time but also just for a quick meal out where we want good food and maybe a brew but dont want to break the bank. Thankfully I plan to live in this area for a quite a long time so I think we will be enjoying black diamond for years to come.

Hello Terry H. (Owner), thank you for reaching out. The 3 star review I gave was from 5 days ago when my family and our neighbors family went to your establishment for dinner and the Trivia games. The 3 stars was for the service, not the food. The food I received was definitely better than 3 stars. I had the Blue Cheese burger and really enjoyed it. What happen was that I ordered the burger with onion rings and the mixed veggies as another side. When we received our orders, I was minus the onion rings and veggies. The waiter (young man, senior in high school?) admitted to the error, but did not put in the order to be rushed to get my sides to me. The rings were 15 minutes late and the veggies 18 minutes late, after I had eaten most of my burger. He was new to the kitchen, he stated that he felt that he could not ask the kitchen to put ahead my late orders, he was intimidated by them?!? Luckily, a manager came by and I told him. He put a rush on the sides and got them to me. I hope this helps with you feedback. - Stringer

About as close to a local bar and grill as you can find in our neighborhood. Grouper Fingers very good--specials on nig burgers. Beer cold with good selection. Wait staff during evening hours usually experienced and very good.
First time there last weekend and overall really great service and great tasting food. I had the wings with fries and it was delicious. Only reason for four stars is because of the dirty fork I got and greasy and oily table. It was late night so not much of a complainer. Deff recommended
Great variety (including gluten-free food & beer options), great service. Been here 3 times and happy each. If mistakes were made (by inexperienced staff) they were quickly resolved (drama-free!). We will continue to come back. FYI- Tues can be busy (trivia night!) but we still didnt have much of a wait for anything.
Much bigger on the inside than I expected from the street view. It wasnt busy when I arrived, which wasnt a surprise for Wednesday at 4pm. Good beer selection, wide open seating, good size bar area, lots of TVs, Golden Tee and friendly bar tenders. Ill have to eat next time. Huge patio, too!
We have visited the grill several times. Sampled a variety of dishes. Everything has been delicious. There is nothing that I would not order again. Staff is great and very attentive!

The grouper sandwich was really good. The lighting in the establishment is a little on the low side (it definitely takes the eyes about 30 minutes to fully adjust).
Its an independent TMAC with live music, and more of a bar feel. They didnt have any of their listed local beers in stock, and no cocktail list. My waitress hovered excessively. The food was alright, and did come out very quickly. Three stars might be generous. I would not go back.

Their steaks used to be great. The last two Ive gotten have been overcooked, dry and tough. I wont be coming back.
Maybe a bad night? Poorly managed. There was a daily special list that the waitress said we couldnt order from because they were out and not allowed to take the flyer from the table. They had a local craft beer list from which I ordered a beer. She returned stating they did not have that one and asked me to pick another. After doing so, she soon returns to say they dont have that one either. I ended up just drinking water. I will say that the food was good.
I came to this restaurant for the first time more than 1.5 hours before closing and the owner sent the waitress to tell me that they will be closing and they won’t be taking my order. I asked them why since their website stated they were going to be open for over an hour and a half... they said “oh we close whenever. Our regulars know this. Everyone here has already closed their tab”. I did not appreciate this. I was going to them after a long day of work. Poor customer service. Never going there again.
I use eat here occasionally and enjoy the atmosphere and the service. However I generally sit at the bar with some friends or my wife. The food is decent for the price and drinks priced right.However the place was a different story when I visited with my family and another couple. Total was four adults and three kids.The service was horrendous. Drinks were brought out within a reasonable time, but afterwards it went downhill.The children’s food order was placed with drink orders as we frequently do as our children are young. It appears this meant we didn’t want food as we had to wave down the server to order.After ordering no one came to our table for a half hour. When the server finally stopped by we asked about are food. I waited tables in college and could tell by her face the order was not placed.I did not say anything as it was a busy night and things happen. I assumed he went to the manager admitted a mistake and are food would be put first in line. I was wrong, half the food came out about a half hour later. Problem was there was no kids food ready and one of the adults was missing her meal.Again explained to waitress what was wrong and she apologized and stated it would be corrected. However again we waited 15 minutes, with no manager stopping by. As I previously waited tables I knew she did not own up to her mistake and just entered the orders.At this point we’re there for over an hour and our kids were obviously hungry and misbehaving. Wanting the situation corrected we flagged another sever down and asked for a manager.The manager was competent apologized and assured us he would get the kids and our friends food out immediately. I unfortunately did not review the order with the manager as the food was completely wrong. Well I think one of the five was correct.The manager immediately took action and the correct food was brought out in a reasonable time. Manager comped the entire meal which I stated was not necessary and offered a free meal which our friends took.Hands down worse experience at a restaurant I have ever had.I did visit again recently as the bad experience scared me off for almost a year. I sat at the bar and had no issues.I would recommend the bar only as the bartenders are great. Just don’t eat in the restaurant.Was going to give three stars as one experience shouldn’t ruin the entire place but as the bar is 2/5 the size of the restaurant and the only worthwhile portion I deem it appropriate.
I love this place! Good thing I dont live closer it would be a weekly thing. The good here is always good. Privately owned and food is fresh...not that prepackaged stuff. My fav is their buffalo shrimp. Its not caked with batter like most places. Another fav is their wings. Oh and must try their burgers! They also have specials!

Consistently good food and excellent service. The shrimp basket is my favorite dish. Trivia here is great fun, and happens on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights. The wait staff takes great care of us while we play.
I brought my husband there for his birthday and was embarrassed because it was so bad. He ordered Grouper and got Tilapia and I got scalloped potatoes and got not that...not sure what it was. Honestly, not sure why this place has such a high rating, but it is definitely NOT for the food! Though, Im sure its delicious after 10 beers!

Ive been going to black diamond for probably close to 10 years now. Its an awesome place to grab a quick lunch, or hang out for hours with friends and watch football. They are always very accommodating when I bring a large group, and did the mention the food is AWESOME?!
Drat beer selection is limited.Food sub par. Asked for a steak dinner medium well cooked.. it was medidum done, and I had to add salt to the mashed potatoes side.!On the good side, Music is good. They have trivia nights, they have the kitchen open till 12 am . Service was good. I was a late night customer maybe thats why. But unpleasant culinary experience.
Ive gone in and out to eat with my son here and just to grab a quick bite. Sometimes disappointed in the prices. But tonight the bar and every chair in there was spotless! The cornedbeef was excellent and worth the outing!

Nice bar and grill with weekly specials. I had a BLT sandwich that was really good. There was loaded with bacon. They made my fries extra crispy because I asked. There is a lunch card that after 7th meal the next one is free. It keeps me coming back.
Ive come here since inception and before when it was three dollar cafe. If you want decent wings, food and beer its a safe choice. Nothing is outstanding, but nothing is awful either. Three stars is deserved. Inside the ambience is drab, televisions dated and the feel is just not coordinated but you dont come here to sit for hours, do you? We go a few times per year and live within 5 miles.

We always enjoy the black diamond grill. Typically get the Blackened Grouper sandwich with Fries and it is always good. They are typically busy but you can get a seat most of the time with minimal wait if any. Overall a great place to go visit for food and / or a drink.
Some of the best and friendliest servers around and they always get our checks out fast and correct when we have a large group. Terry is really great too! Such a fun place to go with friends and our kids!

The food is good. The waitress, Shelly is the best, she friendly and you can tell she loves her job and her customers. We always enjoy going there for our wings. My husband loves them. Salads are good, etc, etc.

I have only been inside a couple of times. The food was mediocre. I work out near the restaurant, and people will be outside with their alcohol, looking at everyone coming out of the gym. Three weeks ago, two employees were outside fighting in the parking lot around 10pm. They were cussing and screaming. I have a coworker who previously worked there, and he said it was not a good environment. I will not be going here anytime soon.
Live nearby and have been meaning to check Black Diamond out, finally did for lunch and didnt regret it. They have a very large bottled beer selection and a slightly smaller draft selection. Food was pretty decent and very generously sized for the price. Good value if youre hungry and want a beer while you watch the game. Check it out

Bar and grill with descent food. Quality has definitely dropped over the past year or two, so we dont go as frequently as we used to. Very large restaurant, and can get loud. They host different adult activities and have an arcade for the kids.

We visited here particularly because it was Trivia Night. Definitely an enjoyable time. Over priced mixed drinks but the food was very good and fairly priced. It was crowded and we could tell it was a popular place for the locals. We were out of towners visiting family.
Decent enough for a Sunday Night. Salad was pretty much just Iceberg lettuce; that was a bit of a disappointment. Croutons were stale but thats ok I guess. Ribeye (on the salad) was good and cooked perfect. Another ribeye at our table was overcooked unfortunately. Wait staff was excellent and very attentive.

I travel all over the country so I eat out a lot. This place its really good. Awesome service, great food, and fun. There is only one pool table, but it is in its own room, nice!

I saw the reviews and thought I would give it a try. The food was not good by any stretch of the imagination. The tuna steak was bland and dry. The mashed potatoes tasted like onions had been added. I will never eat there again.
Great Sports Bar, good food and plenty of TVs to watch your favorite sport. The only thing they dont carry anymore sadly is the UFC Pay-Per-Views.

Black Diamond is a great place for a good time with great friends. The owner Terry is one of the nicest guys Ive met. Terry and his staff bend over backwards to take care of the customer!
Had a great server (tammy)! Drinks were good as well. Received an undercooked chicken wing. They fixed the issue with no problem.

2021-08-17Excellent dining experience. This sports bar is a hidden gem. Our server Kate was attentive, polite, and adequately versed in their menu. The Big Texan burger was extraordinary! If you saved room for desserts the sizzling apple pie will not disappoint. My only complaint is that the water taste like dirt. Time to check the ice machines. We look forward to trying more of the menu next time!

2022-03-12Great casual family dining experience. portions are big, and the prices are very family friendly.And tons of tvs if you want to watch a game while you eat. my go to is usually the new orleans grouper with spicy creole sauce and bite sized crawfish nestled on top. But this time, i switched it up and went for the mahi fish tacos. they were huge and fantastic. Service was great and servers were very friendly and welcoming as usual.

2021-11-12I always come around this area because i get my nails done and we have a favorite vietnamese place here. I always see this restaurant then I finally picked up something for lunch today. I got the Smokehouse burger as it’s about the same as the Big Texan but no jalapeños. It tasted great actually, but the lettuce that they gave me w it looked like it came out of the garbage— see the pix and it smelled like soil. Looked like it hasn’t been washed. I am just glad they had it separated w the tomato so i just threw it. Even my officemates said that a wilted lettuce like that should not be eaten. Pls pay better attention next time as people put these in their bodies. I would still come back and try again.

2022-06-12We are busting from out of town. Anyone that is visiting the Ball fields close by I’d recommend this place. Nicer sports bar with great food. Would recommend the wings. Also the severing staff did a great job. Emily was our server she was polite and on the spot for large party. By far the best server we have had in the area the last three days.

2022-04-29On April 3rd I ordered to go: country fried chicken with white gravy mashed potatoes and vegetables. I was charged a different price(higher) than the price on the website. I also ordered cajun chicken pasta. The vegetables were really delicious and seasoned well. The white gravy wasnt very flavorful. The fried chicken was ok and the mashed potatoes were ok. I got feed back that the Cajun chicken pasta was ok.

2022-04-06This place is MUCH bigger inside than we expected. Plenty of seating and tvs...perfect for watching sports. I had the grouper fingers which were delicious! I would just like to see more cocktails on the menu, but if youre a beer lover you have plenty of options.

2022-04-27If I knew how to use the word ambience...I could describe the energy of the staff and customers that seem to be exactly where they want to be.We have dined in a few times but mostly get takeout.The food has always been great and consistent..........I hope you understand that comment.....seems to have more meaning if we continue to be patrons.

2022-03-27Blown away today by Phoebe’s service!!!!!! We had a private party today that was originally supposed to be a party of 17 but turned out to 27. Phoebe was EXCEPTIONAL. She never wavered, never fretted and we ran her butt off. I hope our entire party too as good care of her as she did us! Love love love! Terry, thanks babe!

2022-04-02Had high hopes after finding this place but left disappointed.The food was OK/average to maybe slightly above average. Lots of selection on the menu but nothing at the table was overly impressive taste wise. The kids menu are a joke for the amount of food you get (Maybe 6 or 7 French fries with the burger)My biggest complaint was the $1 charge for a tiny cup of ranch. I ordered ranch to go with a buffalo chicken sandwich (which didnt come with any) and was charged $1. Wife ordered some for her meal and $1 as well (keep in mind the kids chicken finger meal came with none and was offered no sauce).will probably stick to other places that have just as good sandwiches/burgers/fish tacos and dont charge insane amounts for sauce
