Bloomingdales in other cities:
I had to make a return and it was absolutely the easiest return Ive ever had. I just basically had to find anyone and they would help me which was odd. If you go to Macys, you can only return an item at one place. Moreover, the person helping me return the item was able to scan something on the price tag that told them which credit card I purchased it with and had my return processed before I had time to do more than tie my shoe. It was such a great experience overall.
I requested to have an online order picked up from the store due to an increase in package thefts in the Atlanta area. I walked up to the counter, and the employee scanned my order receipt and looked at my ID. I was then told my item was not in the pick up room, and they would need to get it from another area in the store. The employee let another employee know that I was waiting for a pick up, and left. After 40 minutes, the employee who replaced the one that left finally rechecked the back room, and my item was there the entire time.I received my confirmation email 5 days before that my item was ready to pick up at the Lenox location. They didn’t have my item packaged/bagged for pick up like the other customers who went to pick up their packages while I waited. Will not recommend doing an online pick up in store option to these location.
Customer service was horrible!!! I am highly professional, successful, and financially secure. Last Friday afternoon I chose to dress down and just run in and purchase a couple outfits for my vacation. Due to the mask my regular sales associates did not recognize me. To my surprise NO ONE (Not one ☝️) person greeted me or looked to observe my presence. I went to men’s shoes to purchase a pair I had been viewing. The salesman came from the back but did not speak. I said hello to him as I was about to ask for a size. He immediately dropped his head, focused on his cell and did NOT reply. I remained in the area for a few minutes. Still NO recognition. Same throughout the store. THIS WAS MY DISRESPECTFUL EXPERIENCE AT BLOOMINGDALES ATL I guess I didn’t “look” like I belonged. Cannot blame on race because these were my own people. Let’s do better
Moriah (sales rep) was absolutely amazing! My wife’s birthday is coming up and I needed a specific movado watch. She was able to locate the exact watch I was looking for. It happened to be the last one they had in stock. She held it for me and I was able to purchase it just in time before my wife’s birthday! I can’t express my gratitude enough! Moriah, your customer service is second to none! You helped make my wife’s birthday a memorable one! Thanks a million!!!!
The women at the brand counters were too busy talking to each other. Oh my! Poor manners ladies. Still too busy to offer assistance at shoe department. Whatever are we to do? Yeah that’s right shop elsewhere. Take for example Aldo. We were greeted when we entered. Offered 2 sizes of the shoe because the nice young man brought it without being asked🤩 That’s what great customer service is about.
I have had my first and last buying experience at Bloomingdale’s. I ordered a $1450 pair of Valentino Boots on Nov 11, 2021 for my birthday party Nov 22, 2021. I paid for the boots in full and elected to have them shipped to the Lenox Mall, Atlanta, Georgia location thinking it would be safer to ship it to Bloomingdale’s than have them dropped at my door where somebody could possibly steal the package. Boy, was I wrong! I think there are thief’s in the Bloomingdale’s company. Long story short, I never was notified by Bloomingdale’s that my order arrived in their Lenox Mall location. I reached out as my birthday was approaching, to find out that they were delivered via UPS on Nov 16th. I called Customer Service who put me on hold while they called the Lenox store. For 30 minutes, the Customer Service Agent worked very diligently to locate my boots which were verified delivered by UPS. Finally, the Customer Service Agent came back and said that they have my boots I can go pick them up. I drove straight over to Lenox only to have Lenox tell me they could not locate them and I needed an email from Bloomingdale’s for verification that they have arrived. I explained that Bloomingdale’s Customer Service had worked with the store and located my boots. Bloomingdale’s pick up looked everywhere and could not find them. I called Customer Service back the next day and explained the whole situation. They recommended that we cancel out my order and just place another order. Upon doing that, it was discovered that there was not another size 8 anywhere. They were sold out:(. If UPS verified delivery to the Bloomingdale’s Lenox location on Nov 16th and Bloomingdale’s Lenox doesn’t acknowledge the delivery to the customer but instead steals a fully paid for pair of $1450.00 Valentino Boots. Then, when the boots can’t be found by Customer Service or the store, Bloomingdale’s refunds the customer and the Bloomingdale’s thief gets away with the Valentino Boots. I’m just saying! Beware of shopping with this company. Obviously, they can not be trusted with their customers purchases.
It has a great selection of products and I love the store, but the workers are random. Some of them are overly helpful (wont leave you alone to look) and others you need to walk up to them and ask for what you want. Overall, I will continue to shop there. I recommend.
I went to the womens section and asked this guy for maxi dresses and he says oh they havent made a comeback maybe try Macys I even told him I was looking for something not too casual but not too fancy and he didnt even offer other options. I would not recommend this location. I got better service at the Neiman Marcus.
If I could give negative stars I would. Time and time again the experience in the mens fragrance department has been less than ideal! They open an hour later than the rest of the store. All 5 people working wouldnt find a second out of their SCHEDULED TIME to assist a customer and when they finally acknowledge you. Its all attitude. Nordstrom would never! I have been a customer for over 30 years and this is straw that broke my back! Horrible. Ms. Gwen should have never retired!
Like no other store in the world. They are absolutely right. Store is spacious with friendly staff but 4/5 stars only because of organization. Went to the sale in the men’s department. I felt like I was submerged in clothes and if I had fallen probably walked through the Chronicles of Narnia lol seriously... they need to do a better job at organizing. Regardless, I managed to find a super cool PJ for a Bargain!!!! Too bad I didn’t have enough time to look for more items.
I have mixed feelings about this Bloomingdales. I tried to order something online for in store pick up and wasn’t notified until late in the evening that they did not have it. I tried online ordering one more time and same result. The MAC Cosmetics that is part of this store is downright terrible. I won’t shop there at all anymore after two truly terrible experiences. I waited 30 minutes for an associate to grab a bottle of foundation and sell it to me when there was only one other person in the store. There were two associates. Neither said hello or acknowledged my existence. No thanks. The first time I went in to this Bloomindales a sales rep in the handbags area turned her nose up and just ignored me. Literally. Only one sales rep, a very nice woman, talked to me at all. I’m not sure if it was because I didn’t look like a million bucks or what have you, but I was treated like I didn’t belong there. It made me uncomfortable and some of the sales women were really rude. The second time I went in for a handbag, the store was a mess. Everything was in the wrong place and nobody really cared. I wandered around looking for a specific piece that I was told they had and couldn’t find a sales associate anywhere. You have to chase them down to get something from the back. I haven’t been back and have no plans to return.
Yarnell in the men’s wear was very unfriendly and super unprofessional.. not to mention stuck up.Came into the store today because my office is having a Christmas party and it’s theme is casino royal so I needed something extra nice.. however upon approach Yarnell with a quick question.. he immediately shot me down and treated me with absolutely no respect or cyst service.. I was blown away with how rude this employee immediately came off considering I have worked in customer service myself for 6+ years.. I will gladly Yale my money and business elsewhere.. and considering me and my husband needed suits they just lost double the business
Service there is going DOWNHILL FAST. Combination of lack of good pay and BAD HIRES is going to close this store. You cant pay well if you dont interview well and hire well. They need to raise their commission and hire better. You cant ask someone for something done well without EQUAL compensation.I was just there half an hour ago and the sportswear guy was FACE-CHATTING as he tried to look up something for me --- REALLY DUDE! And I think he was that areas manager--SAD! At my biz - I send people home if theyre 30 minutes late, this guy would be fired.
I love this store! Ive been shopping at Bloomingdales for all my my big events. Graduation, anniversaries, weddings, etc. The womans formal section is great because of all the different styles and selections. Alterations are included in the price! You cant get that anywhere.
For a store that advertises free returns, there was nothing free (or pleasant) about my return. I purchased a little backpack to wear around on my honeymoon and paid an extra $17 for the expedited 2-day shipping. My package did not arrive within expected two days, and I went on vacation without the bag. Getting back and now trying to return it, but I was told the shipping costs (and the tax) cannot be refunded. Wasnt that what I paid extra for? I was told by customer service that the backpack had physically been delivered, there for the problem was not on their end. Its not necessarily about the money, because its not a lot in the grand scheme, it was a very rude encounter where I was told it was my fault it was not delivered on time. Guess I should have just waited on Bloomingdales to go on my honeymoon. I will never purchase anything from here again. Free returns ARE NOT FREE. See you at Nordstroms!
Guy in the shoe department was very rude and didnt want to price check a wallet I found on the sale table. His response was in future theres a price checker over there.Safe to say I purchased the wallet from another employee but wont return. Every time I come here I get bad service.
ID LIKE TO THANK MS.ERIN IN COSMETICS 💋! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SHE MADE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE SHOPPING. I WASNT SURE WHAT COLOR I NEEDED AND SHE WENT RIGHT TO IT. YEPPPPPPP!! IM WEARING IT WELL 😂. ( I USUALLY DONT WEAR MAKEUP. PLUS! IM VERY PARTICULAR) AGAIN 👍👍👌👌 THANK YOU SUGA. YOUR WORK WILL NOT GO UNNOTICED 🙌
Came in for a dress for special occasion so was on the 3rd floor. They were not busy. 3 sales staff hanging out by register, doing nothing. After letting me in fitting room, no one ever came to ask if I needed a different size, nothing... then when trying to figure out who had to clean out what fitting room, two associates come back to the dressing room and start talking, well the black lady was in this room and the white lady in this one... is this 1968? What kind people are yall employing? Awful experience, good dress selection though.
I am disappointed in the customer service I recieved. I bought a mackage cream fur hooded winter coat. I loved the jacket so much that i bought a medium hoping i could get into it. I ordered it February 28th and my package came on March 6. i tried it on the night of March 7th and realized it was to big and planned to return it the next day. On the next day at 10am I went to return the jacket and the sales clerk asked me the reason return and i said it was to big. She examined it and got the manager Amber and said she cannot accept it in this condition. i let her know i bought it online and showed her my reciept letting her know it was shipped to me in that condition. I asked to speak to the manager and upon waiting the clerk told me Anything could of happened in 2 days I asked her if she was implying i had worn the jacket in Atlanta when within the 2 days it wasnt even cold so where i wouldve worn a 800 filled down coat with a fur hood. At no time did anyone apologize for my inconvience. All they made me feel was that i wore the jacked within a day and tried to return it. Instead of being helpful and offering to switch it out they told me very rudely they couldnt do anything and I had to call customer service to return the jacket. I dont think id ever shop here again based on their customer service.
Nice store but today it gets rated low because of custodial uncouthness. I needed to use the ladies rest room and a male janitor was servicing the restroom. Instead of him leaving out while I used the toilet, he proceeded to mop the restroom and even the stalls next to me. Unacceptable Bloomingdales. Please train your staff to be more professional than this type of behavior. Very disappointed and I felt disrespected and uncomfortable with this experience.
Awful experience here today. Came in to purchase new dress shoes and a belt. I found the perfect shoes but there wasnt a sales associate to be found. Finally I found a sales associate and she told me she doesnt work in the shoe department and walked away. After fifteen more minutes of searching, looking into the stock room and asking associates at the cologne counter a shoe sales associate showed up. I asked him for the shoe I wanted in my size and he went to the stock room for ten minutes to search for the shoe. When he came back out he handed me the shoe box and walked away. This is definitely not the type of service I would expect from a high end department store.Maybe Von Maur will come in and buy them out like they did at Perimeter Mall. They have much better customer service.
Absolutely no assistance from sales help. Could not find anyone willing to help me find what I was looking for nor my size. Spent over am hour in the mens department.... Finally gave up.Guess this store does not need my business which is a good thing because they did not get it today.
Returned an online purchase for a larger size and buttons tighten. Customer service was above average. Feel a little more could have been done to get the concern handled. Disappointed that Bloomingdale doesnt have feel shipping for alterations of purchases made at Bloomingdale.
I was trying to make a purchase and the associates were having difficulty transferring me. I asked to be transferred to women’s clothing and I kept getting looped back to the service station. Eventually one said don’t worry I’ll get the right person and Someone from men’s clothing answered who immiadely tried to transfer me again. I said no please I have been transferred 6 times now I just am trying to see if you have something in stock, the woman who I was speaking to at this time was working for All saints Men’s immediately raised her voice at me and stated that women’s clothing is on another floor and she cannot walk to check. I told her I did not ask you that I was trying to share with you that no one is answering in that department, she placed me on hold, pretended to transfer me, and then answered again saying welcome to Bloomingdales, then hung up on me. I called again, this point I asked to speak to a manager... three transfers two hang ups and one confusion with an apparent other angry customer who was looking for jeans the final hang up. I’ve never seen such poor customer service and I will gladly take my business else where.
Terrible customer service experience. The salespeople are great at forceful sales tactics but really poor at customer service when it comes to actual assistance with products, or heaven forbid, you need to return something. I wasnt treated well at all. Bad attitudes all over the place in this store.
Poor customer service!! Ill only shop online, if I cant find it elsewhere. Either I was getting told to go to another counter, or getting completely ignored. I needed to make a return, but the counter was unattended. Scared of another poor interaction, I just waited until I was sure no one was paged to help me. I had an online order to pick up too, that Im sure was in stock, but I got an email while waiting on customer service, that it was cancelled. Waste of time.
Customer service lady where you gift wrap definitely needs a boost in friendly customer service. She was upset she was alone on the biggest sale day. I agree with her she shouldnt have to deal with all the phone calls and customers alone on the biggest weekend ( the superball)I do love bloomingdales perfume selection they have some rare perfumes out there like Tom ford oud ( omg Its to die for and usually only in Europe)They do have good sales, you can find things on sale that are worth it you just have to dig deep.
I bought a 400 dollar Salvatore Ferragamo belt from this store. The employee sold me a used belt. They had packaged the belt for me and I did not notice that the belt had been used. I opened the belt when I got home and the belt was creased and had obviously been worn. I took it back to the store and they wouldnt give me my money back. The employees were rude and disrespectful. I will never shop at Bloomingdales again. The worst experience ever.
For the Beauty Department only (Specifically MAC)So MAC had its biggest collection drop in store on 6/12/2014 and every department store sold out of the products online in less than 1 hour. I called the morning of the 12th I called the Beauty department and was transferred. It took several attempts (as expected they are sales ppl) and finally I received Summer she was very nice and helpful. She grabbed my items, wrapped up her customer in order to process my order. We got disconnected during my hold but as soon as I called back she was there waiting on me to finish my order. Friday I received notification through UPS that my items were scheduled for delivery on Monday 6/16/2014. I am happy! This Customer Service is waaaaay better than Dillards where they leave you on hold or Macys where the reps are rude. Thanks Summer and Bloomies Beauty!
The most disgusting store ever with snobbish workers. Went there with my husband to buy him a belt and they kept sizing us up and one male African American worker walked out from the back and he look at my husband from head to toe in a stinky manner. Disgusting and rude. We wanted to buy a Salvatore Ferragamo belt and they looked at us like we wanted to steal one. We eventually just went to the Salvatore Ferragamo store and bought his belt there. Word of advice- dont judge people based on how they are dressed. Treat everyone the same, with respect and dignity.
Very disappointed with their customer service. Bought a $375 watch that was defective, paint was chipping off, and they told me they couldnt take it back because it was not in resalable condition. How can something defective be in resalable condition...Full of excuses just not to take the watch back. Bloomingdales will not stand behind their products which is unacceptable.Unfortunately it was my last purchase at Bloomingdales.
I been shopping in Bloomingdales at Lennox mall for long time and always considered this store high quality, great service specially when I always spend a lot of money there. All my expectations went down the drain from the last visit that I would never expect from your store.I bought cloth and after making choice what I really like,I have decide to return stuff I dont need.person who was trying to make return(his name is Jeremy Smith -manager ) start making mistake, I was trying to explain to him something, in return I got screaming and yelling, calling me names. Then he sreamed at me,saying-GET OUT OF MY STORE AND NEVER COME BACK.Even in dollar store nobody talks like that.I was devastated, offended. He did that in front of a lot people. That was beyond rude. After all that person by name Sabrina Nikel -manager with the nasty face, said I apologized )Excuse me but after I spent so much money, all I deserve apology??????If those people being on big position as managers, then they have to behave accordingly. Now I have a big party. For that reason I bought this dress(my anniversary ).and now not only Im not happy, Im upset, hurt.
I received a pair of shoes that I ordered online that were in slightly worn condition. They were shipped from a store in California so I could tell theyd been returned previously. When I went to return them I was told they couldnt resell them since the shoes had creased. I tried them on in my apartment and received them from a store in this state. Its easy for me now to see why Nordstrom is leaps and bounds above Bloomingdales in service.
The managers in the beauty department like to make up their own rules about returning beauty items. I have been a customer at this Atlanta location for years. The Perimeter Mall location was better than Lenox in my opinion. I was always able to return makeup and beauty items that did not work out. Today a beauty tried to tell me I could not return an item because it was used. I informed her that Kiehl’s and Bloomingdale’s customer service said I could return the unwanted item. However, I only wanted to make an exchange for a different product. She made up several lies and rules before that had the bright idea to just allow me to effing exchange it. How hard was that? Worst experience ever! DONT PURCHASE BEAUTY FROM BLOOMINGDALES!!! Got to Sephora or Ulta you can return or exchange without strange lies or looks!!
Donna Davis at the Sisley counter is scientific unicorn. Hands down, the best make up counter service I’ve received in 15 years. The other stellar counter was Chanel at the cambridgeside galleria in mass. I hope Bloomingdales knows that it’s folks like her that make a company great and keep people coming back. I live 1500 miles away but because of our encounter I now call on Donna when I need something from Sisley. And I’m glad I don’t live around the corner because Donna could talk me out of my paycheck weekly if I ran I to her every time I went shopping. Jokes aside, she has the kindness and charisma that make you want to return, and the knowledge of the product line to be able to find exactly what you need. Bloomingdales and I got off to a bad start once upon a time but none of that matters now, I had such a positive experience at the Atlanta peachtree location to get me over that. I think maybe Bloomies is working on getting to were JetBlue and Zappos are, where happy, cared for employees make all the difference for remarkable customer service. I sure hope so.
While I didnt want to go to Lenox, i had to in order to return some shoes. I returned the shoes and left with two perfumes and a lipstick. Needless to say I spent more than I returned but it is really because of the awesome customer service. I used to only shop Bloomingdales online but now they have forever earned a customer

2022-06-11The existing staff are pleasant and professional, and the store carries some good brands. I used to find shoes here, but they recently shrank that section. Like most department stores these days, though, they are understaffed, the store is pretty messy and uninspiring. It also needs a revamp. Much of the store smells like a dirty mop which generally means they had water or flooding at some point. Bloomingdales, you are supposed to be luxe and have higher end labels, you need your store to represent that image.

2019-11-27I get fantastic silver pieces from Uno de 50 here. Great customer service! One of the few stores with a Charlotte Tilbury outpost and Erin Lauder fragrances.

2022-05-01Long story short-we had a personal shopping appointment at Neiman Marcus and the personal shopper never showed up. We were getting my mom some dresses for my wedding. We decided to try Bloomingdale’s instead and it was the best decision ever!! The staff was excellent and their selection was insane! We had to restrain ourselves from picking out any more dresses because we would have been there all day. My mom got a couple of dresses and she now gets to have an outfit change at my wedding. She’s gonna feel like the queen she is!! We will recommend Bloomingdale’s over Neiman’s forever.

2022-05-07This Bloomingdale location is really amazing. The store is well lit and everything is properly laid out. Your best bet is to enter the store through the mall itself

2022-05-27This place seems to mis the mark on so many levels. The pretty much only cattery to the lame, wealthy, overly privileged individuals. No cutting edge style will be found here. Over priced and overrated.

2022-02-20Let me start by saying there is a young employee name Dez at the Mac counter who is super sweet. My wife is pretty new to makeup and the Mac associate was friendly and attentive with all of my wifes concerns.
