First day away!! Ended up in Alba , Georgia, saw one hotel In town , DAYS INN, 😩😩😩 googled hotels near me, Blueberry Mansion and golf club came out and away we went on two wheels . Went in no one there. . Looked around and found a chef named Christian. They were closed but Christian asked owner if they would have a room for us. She came out and greeted us with a big Happy smile . 34 year old owner of this elaborate hotel right out of the 1950’s!! She’s adorable!! New mom of a premie, she has an outstanding feeling of making you want to stay here. Stay and play is awesome. Hotel is immaculate and quaint big time .. 20 .00 for 18 holes. Great place!! I give it a 20 due to the staff and Owner. I strongly suggest coming here if you’re in the area. Bed was Perfect and entire facility is immaculate. Harley at the bar is a delight with her little Southern accent. There was only one room left and it was the presidential suite at a higher rate so we took it. Reminds me of growing up as a kid. Awesome stay and I’ll come back on return to Florida. Located 1.2 miles off 23. Ask for Spring.

Beautiful location, quiet, comfortable, and quaint. The owners and staff are wonderful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and well cared for. The grounds and exercise room are also a nice plus. The atmosphere of this restaurant is wonderful. The staff are very kind and welcoming, and are sure to prioritize their customers. Aside from the wonderful employees, the food is amazing. My personal favorite is the grilled shrimp or steak, but the menu is not limited to seafood. There are pastas, steak, and plenty of other options. This place is perfect for a night out with friends, a family dinner, or a daytime bite. I actually came here on my birthday last year and I remember my waitress actually sang happy birthday to me. It was beyond sweet. I highly recommend coming here. You wont regret it !!
The staff was very friendly and our room was nice, clean, quiet and comfy. The property is absolutely stunning. There were only 2 disappointing things about our stay, but not worth reducing a star. The coffee machine in the room was wonky, and the breakfast bar was only 4 different kinds of cereal, and whole milk.
Horrible customer service, the hotel was nice and clean. However, we paid for the rooms with inside facing doors vs their outdoor rooms. We had small children with us. The first night of our original two night stay they put us right above the bar and they were so loud it really didn’t matter what room you were in upstairs you were not going to get any sleep. We called the manager and was told they would be shutting it down, that was at 10pm. Around midnight they finally started to quite down in the bar area. When talking with staff their solution the first night was for me to get my kids up and move everything we had out for a wedding the next day and nice to one of their rooms located with outside facing doors.The next day I asked for a refund for my second night as we would not be staying a second night after the first nights events and they charged us for cancelling within 24 hours.There is a lot more that happened that is just poor customer service from the owners and managers. The only positive I can say is it was clean and could be a cool venue if the owners had a clue.

They had the best steak I have ever ate. My only complaint was no bread with the meal. But I was totally full anyway. It is a very nice place. My son and daughter in law came from Indiana to stay here. My other son and I met them there for dinner. Very nice people. I would highly recommend this place.
I can’t begin to tell you how amazing this place is. After our dream Caribbean wedding fell through due to COVID we had to come up with something new and quickly. In the midst of a pandemic Spring, Joe and her amazing staff pulled through and gave us the perfect wedding day. The Blueberry Mansion was the best decision we could have ever made for our wedding venue. They made sure everything was perfect and everyone was taken care of. The food was delightful and the service was top notch. They even adjusted and perfected the Blueberry Margarita to make my momma happy, and man did we enjoy them!! 😂 The contract was very clear and everyone knew what was expected of each other. They also stepped in and made sure my wedding planner had everything she needed as well. They have become like family to us and this place will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you Spring and Joe for being so amazing. Alma is lucky to have you guys.
We went Friday night and had drinks and dinner. I had an amazing Bloody Mary and my husband had a beer. We both had the special of the night. It was a steak with shredded fried onion straws. I had broccoli and loaded baked potato and he had broccoli and Mac and cheese and it was homemade and AMAZING. The steaks was cooked perfectly medium rare and so tender you could cut them with a fork. Seasoned perfectly also no steak sauce needed. The Cesar salad could have been better. Everything else is made from scratch and amazing. The salad was more lettuce than anything. The lettuce should be pre tossed in the dressing before brought out and have homemade croutons. That would make it perfect. Oh and the sweet tea was amazing also. So definitely highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.
Blueberry Mansion was way more than I expected. Large beautiful rooms. Food was delicious. Owners are super friendly and care about their customers being happy. Was there last night and could not believe guest started coming in before technically the restaurant opened. The staff was so welcoming. It was packed most of the night that guest overflowed into second dining room. They had live music and Karaoke. We partied and had great food and drinks. Everyone was having so much fun that myself and other guest that were staying there on property continued socializing and drinking until after hours. The Staff never complained about still serving us until 3:00am. The owner Joseph even offered to get in the kitchen and cook for the guest that were still there long after the kitchen had closed. He whipped up a delicious shrimp and veggie pasta from scratch and it was so good. You will not be disappointed❤️ The best restaurant and place in town to eat, drink and hang out.
Very impressive. SOUTHERN Comfort at its best. Room is very nice and clean, with hardwood floors and big shower. Place has a restaurant and bar all useful and functional. Since I am here on Business there is no reason to go anywhere else to eat..I am enjoying my stay, especially after staying three nights at a local cheap hotel.. This is posh :)

Our family had the pleasure of having the first wedding after the covid shut down. The blueberry Inn mansion is absolutely breathtaking . Rooms are big, and beautiful and exceptionally clean.. The overall experience was fantastic do to the owners being so caring and loving . Our family would recommend this wonderful place to everyone wanting an amazing experience. The owners, the staff were amazing. This will become our new relaxing getaway.
I just had my wedding at the Blueberry Inn. The staff were amazing! They coordinated three days of activities, including the reception, while juggling a fully booked hotel. The food was so delicious and we had the best time! Thank you Spring, Joe, Miss Patricia, Ms. Johnson and everyone!

The live music was awesome!☆☆☆☆☆I had the seared tuna with sautéed veggies (squash and succini) it was served fresh fast and the staff including the owner Spring were all very nice! Would definitely recommend. Will be going back soon!

Hidden diamond in the rough here. Was supposed to be a farm concert in town but was cancelled due to the virus stuff. Before we checked in they invited us into bar where we stayed til about 1am Joe then upgraded us to the Presidential suite. We are so glad we stumbled upon this place that was close enough to Douglas Ga. Maybe next time the weather will cooperate too. Joe and Spring are great people and have a good thing going. We cant wait to go back now. Great food, great hospitality, great everything. Thank you guys again. Lee
We loved our stay here! The owners went above and beyond in every aspect! We took advantage of everything that was offered - the inn, the golf course, the pool, and the restaurant. The food was absolutely wonderful, just like the hospitality. Definitely a hidden gem in South Georgia!
I absolutely adored this place. Upon my arrival, my first thought was how precious it was, very quaint and well kept. I walked into my room and fell in love. The floors were hard wood and beautiful, ceilings were high, and the windows were big. The room was clean, and it had the most comfortable bed. The room and the shower were both spacious; it was all well lit. I turned the air down, opened the windows, ordered pizza, watched TV, and enjoyed my room. The staff at the bar and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Note: do yourself a favor and order the Blueberry Cheesecake! My ONLY complaints were the hallways were in desperate need of vacuuming and the room did NOT have a mini-fridge. I had no where to keep my drinks and leftovers. Other than that, I cannot wait to stay with them again!
From the time we walked in until the time we left was amazing. The food and service was fantastic. Our first of many visits to come. We had a variety of different items and they were all awesome.
Had not been in a long time, but was not disappointed. Loaded fries appetizer was amazing, but the portion could have been bigger (or maybe I was just really hungry, I dunno). I got the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly and the baked potato was spot on. It bothers me how many restaurants cant pull off a decent baked potato, but this one was done right. Will definitely be back.

Horrible wedding venue. Contract was agreed to have decorations for outside wedding...DID NOT HAPPEN. Bride, Groom and friends had to purchase lights, decorations and put them up the morning of their wedding day. What a shame...this place apparently is just a hangout and party place for the local drunks, as one of the local drunks disrupted the reception. What a total nightmare. If you are considering this as a wedding venue...DONT DO IT! Look elsewhere.
This is a privately owned hotel in Alma. I read all of the reviews before booking. My experience has been good so far. Any suggestions would be out of kindness. So.... My mom in law suggests a fridge and microwave. The restaurant (and most of the restaurants in town) was closed on Monday. The breakfast was a little sparse compared to chain hotels - just cereal and muffins. Had to wait until the Mr. Coffee made coffee.The outside rooms are quite nice but the light from the outside lights comes straight in.My experience here has been good. I would stay again.
I went to this place for the first time and was completely disappointed! After all the good reviews and then to be let down myself....the waiter was not attentive, my steak was over cooked and to top it off, my waiter used my credit card to pay for another patrons meal. Although he claimed it to be an accident, it just goes to show the lack of attentiveness and poor management at this establishment.
Celebrated our 20th Anniversary there tonight. Dont know how the food could have been any better. Decorated beautiful for Christmas. We were very impressed. Recommend it for special occasions.

Great place for clean, restful sleep with a comfy bed and pillows! The bathroom was large and had a big armoire in it for storage and a full length mirror. The room floor was wood and music was available on the tv which allowed for a chamber music serenade.
I would give it lower than one star if that was available. Hands down the WORST food in SouthEast Georgia and the service was so bad its unforgivable. We ate there about 4 weeks ago with a group. There was hardly any one else there and first they messed up our food orders, then they kept us waiting for HOURS and then had the nerve to charge us for the meal! And the food was overcooked and poorly done. We will NEVER return. Ever. Horrible, horrible place.

Even though there is no mention of a pet fee on their website and no mention of the fact during the initial reservation process, the front desk tried to charge me a pet fee for each pet. I have to preface the situation that I stayed at this hotel every week for 14 weeks last year and had planned on doing the same this year (there was never a mention of a fee last year and in fact the front desk said they were very pet friendly). However, after the front desk was rude and dismissive of the fact that I had driven 4 hrs with my dogs and was not made aware of the pet fee until I was almost at the hotel. I will never stay here again. They have no respect for their guests time or money and make decisions that do not make much business sense. I had to turn around and drive another 4 hrs back home because I could not justify having to come out of pocket over half the cost of the room to pay for my pets which had previously never been a problem. They made no attempt to accommodate me and instead acted as if I was trying to get something for free. In addition to the utter inefficiency of the staff, the rooms are musty and rarely cleaned. I hope that management is made aware of how loyal guests are treated and make honest attempts to rectify the situation. If you at all can, avoid this establishment as it is not worth the money and the staff are apparently a shifty sort.
Celebrated my moms 81st birthday this evening. It was an awesome experience. The food and the staff were fantastic. Very nice place to celebrate a great occasion with family and friends.
The room was nice and the bed was huge and very comfortable. I mentioned after the first night that the shower head was not great, and it was changed to a new shower head almost immediately. The food in the restaurant was done as requested and was very tasty.

I stayed here for a work trip. Everyone was so kind and the room was gorgeous! I stayed in the main building and had all my dinners in the inn resturant. Everything was reasonably priced and tasted delicious! I would not hesitate to stay here again!!

Unfortunately, our trips to the mansion have come to an end. This place was really really great but something has happened and you can tell from staff to the food and drinks.

It was disappointing to experience a less than satisfactory evening at a place that has been a favorite for years. Apparently the cook staff had difficulty in filling orders correctly. Two in our party ordered soup. Regrettably an extended time went by before our server was told there was no more soup. The entree served for one of our party was lukewarm. Apparently the kitchen was functioning without a chef. Hopefully, improvements with staff can be made soon.
Checking process was smooth and quick. Room was clean and spacious and quiet. Bathroom amenities was nice. WiFi worked well without issues. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant and had good food and great service. Breakfast was complimentary but very scarce. Overall good experience, would stay here again.

We drove an hour to enjoy a lunch here on a Saturday, it was closed! The web site didn’t say it was closed for lunch on Saturday. Then the people were rude about telling us it was closed on Saturday for lunch. Cut this place off my list of places to eat

This is a very special place to stay with my family, I especially like the huge wrap around porch in the cooler months. The rooms are clean spacoius and feel like your staying insomeones home.

2022-06-29Absolutely awesome place ! The front desk was very professional calling me to make sure my late check in was set up. Room was super clean and had a wonderful bed. Dont miss the restaurant. I am from the gulf coast, and ordered the Cajun shrimp and Grits, best ever. Also order the blueberry cobbler with ice cream, no doubt the blueberries were the best. Next time Ill bring my golf clubs the course looked very manicured and well taken care of. A nurse at the local hospital recommended I stay here and she was right, everything top-notch !

2022-04-21The Blueberry plantation is absolutely amazing. The rooms are nice, the food is delicious and the course is beautiful. What really sets this place a part though is the southern hospitality that you receive here. The entire staff are super friendly and courteous. Harlie is a phenomenal bartender, and you should always ask for a turtle shot. Joe and Spring have done a great job making this place feel like home. Finley and I will definitely be back! Thanks again for such a great time!

2022-04-19I eat dinner there every Tuesday. The food is great and the service is wonderful. Especially Rev and Harley top shelf. I have never had a bad meal there. I also like the golf course. The restaurant is quaint and very accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone. Ask for Rev or Harley.

We also enjoyed their 18 hole golf course. EXCELLENT restaurant and bar. Best steak we have ever had; Tuscan chicken was awesome too! Just what we needed… Thank you Joe and Spring! 2022-05-27My husband and I have been coming to the inn to have dinner for about 2 months often only on weekends since we live in jesup. When we first came I enjoyed the hospitality and the atmosphere. I love ordering appetizers so Im always driven to ordering the fried pickles and fried zucchini. When I first went the appetizer tasted overcooked and very greasy which I dont like, the zucchini was cut so thin and unpleasant, I started ordering the fried shrimp and I also had the same bad taste of oil, I just went back 2 weeks ago (5-20-22) and decided to try them again WELL this time I loved them the zucchini is thicker and the pickles tasted amazing , BIG BIG DIFFERENCE. The shrimp was fried perfectly and I actually enjoyed my dinner this time. I asked the lady at the front desk by the name of Kristie or krista and was told Gigi was in charge of our appetizers so I wanted to give her a very good review for our great experience. Thank you so much I will continue to eat here from here on out

2022-05-16Stayed at this hotel for a funeral about 2 weeks ago with a lot of family I was in room 106 and I didnt like the housekeeper they had working that day I ask for a plunger and she never brought one , never brought me towels or anything else. My 2nd day there , there was a new housekeeper who was very welcoming and very attentive to my family and I, she not only brought me the plunger (after I explained to her about the day before) and not only did she bring the plunger she also personally come in and fix the toilet issue we were having, she also brought me clean towels and shampoo and she was very respectful and always had a smile while doing her job, I was very very pleased with her service, our 3rd day there I had a do not disturb sign on door and she still left me.towels on chair outside and it was nice to feel served and well taken care of. Last day I personally thanked her for her great cleaning and hospitality. I asked her for her name so I can recommend this hotel to out many many friends and family. Thank you GiGi for your great work.

2021-11-17Stayed 2 nights while working in the area and had a great experience. Comfortable rooms and dog friendly. Delicious food, nice atmosphere and great service at the restaurant. Specialty mixed drinks and desserts were a bonus. The owners are quality people!
