The staff at BMW of Columbus were EXTREMELY helpful, friendly and courteous with the buying process of our 2022 x5. This buying process has been by far the easiest of all my prior vehicle purchases. A big thank you to Thomas for guiding us through the ordering process and keeping us up to date with the progress on our build.I would definitely recommend to anyone who is in the market to buy an ultimate driving machine to go by BMW of Columbus.
This was by far the BEST automobile service experience I have ever had! My Service Consultant, Mark, is PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE and HONEST. There is nowhere I will take my X7 but BMW of Columbus. I am moving 2 hours away, and I will STILL bring my car here!
I had searched and drove many different BMWs across the state from dealer inventories to private owners. The one I purchased at BMW of Columbus was truly the cleanest and the best price. Thomas Wright was absolutely amazing!! I can be a bit indecisive, but he was so patient! He gave me waaay more than I could have asked for!! He kept me updated through the entire process and addressed every concern I had. He went over everything until I was comfortable and even stayed after hours with me just to make sure I was pleased. I am blown away by his customer service!! I’ve never experienced anything like this and will forever remember this experience.

I can go into a long & drawn out detailed read. In short, this was one of the best auto purchases Ive ever been a part of. Luckily, we were able to get a vehicle that was literally fresh off of the truck. We were kept informed at each step of the process, given a detailed overview of the vehicle, & thus far all follow-up conversations have been great. A week ago, my wife would have laughed if Id hinted at purchasing a BMW. She loves it & is diving into the world of Bayerische Motoren Werke GmbH. Ryan, Alex, & Thomas took great care of us. I had a issue after having some work done on my connected drive.After some extensive troubleshooting it turns out it is simply an issue with BMW and not this dealership. BMW North America needs to provide continued support to vehicles affected by the 3G shutdown instead a simply saying nothing we can do and thanks for calling.I am very thankful to Tiffany for all her help and diligence on trying to resolve my issue.The dealership is very nice and comfortable place to wait during a service visit.
I worked with Justin at the dealership. In this time of scarcity, he was transparent and even spoke to me on his day off. Responsive, and professional team advising me throughout on best options for me. I didn’t even have to go into the dealership. No bait and switch, just pure professionalism
First time at this specific dealership and went in for a recall. Logan was very helpful getting my car in quickly and answering my questions. The waiting area is great with snacks, water and an espresso machine! Thomas is a tech guru! He was able to answer all my questions and was so helpful getting everything to work appropriately in my vehicle! Definitely recommend this dealership!

They always do a great job. They quickly respond to problems and are very friendly. Wouldnt take our car to anyone else.Revision: Be weary of buying a BMW. Our car, even though it is 4 years old (we had it for 2 years), has less that 40k miles. We have always taken very good care of it. The seat control on the drivers side BROKE OFF! I have never had a car that Ive owned do that. We looked up the problem on Google and it seems to be an on going problem that BMW will not address. Apparently millage means nothing and it was out of warranty. We had to end up paying over $300 for the repair. This will most likely be our last BMW
Zack bent over backwards to help us get our car back quickly and communicated with us every step of the way! He is truly a wonderful part of bmw and has earned our trust and respect for future needs if they arise! BMW of Columbus is a modern and clean service facility, with a first-rate waiting area. I especially appreciated the quiet lounge where I could get work done while waiting. Chris, the service rep., was very courteous and prompt in keeping me informed of the progress of service. The service was performed as promised and within a reasonable time period. Then the car was returned cleaned inside and out. The one area of improvement would have been staying better in touch with the customer about when the promised part came in (I had to call back and find out). The prices certainly are not discounted, but there is comfort in genuine parts being installed by factory-trained technicians.
Man oh man this place was amazing. The help was amazing. We wasnt getting rushed, the information on the vehicles we looked at was great and Justin tells some of the best jokes. It really was a great experience. Even the vars I wasnt looking at but had question on he knew all of the information. Thank you again cant wait to see you all tomorrow.
We had a fabulous experience with the service department. We were traveling through Columbus from Atlanta with our family of six and got a flat tire. The service department stayed open to service our car and ensure we could get back on the road quickly and safely! I cannot say enough good things about them! Thank you!
Update- 2022. Still amazing !!!! On my 3rd BMW now and most likely will be loyal for life.Everyone is still amazing after two years. Zach always make sure that I have a loaner ready and gets me in and out super quick which is greatly appreciated. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating.The whole staff is amazing to work with but Carrie is absolute exceptional. She goes above and beyond to make sure my vehicle is always in top shape is always willing to work with my crazy schedule. This is my 1st time owning a BMW and because of my experience with this location, I most likely will be a loyal BMW driver for life. Thank you for being such a pleasure every visit!

This was the easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had. Working with Jackie, the finance manager, and Thomas was fantastic. All were very personable and knowledgeable. There was no hard-push for add-one, and they wanted to make sure that my wife and I were happy with the purchase. Would definitely buy from them again.

The service department’s customer service is unmatched. If you decide to go there make sure you ask for Barnes. He’ll take good care of you. He always sends me updates on my vehicle when it’s in for services. He’s very knowledgeable on the warranties, products, and services that BMW provides. He’ll exhaust all means before telling you he can’t do something.I gave them four stars because of the sales department. I ended up going to another dealership to purchase my vehicle because they made me feel like my money wasn’t good enough.
I just had other service completed yesterday. And as always, the service I have received has been excellent. My Service Advisor, Christopher Barnes, is fantastic. He always makes sure that I get the right services done on both our vehicles. There is no pressure to receive any additional services that your vehicle doesnt need. He also makes sure to use any of my Loyalty rewards points towards my service billing. We have purchased two BMWs from this Dealership 2014 and 2020. We have had nothing but Great service from both Sales and Service Departments.
Replaced my battery & received great service from Jonathan Frazier. He had a loaner available, made certain that the basics such as tire pressure/fluids were checked. My car was also spic and span when I came to pick it up along with the complimentary bottle of water waiting inside of my vehicle. Nice touch. Thank you for the great support Jonathan!
Jerome was so nice and professional. He made sure that I got what I wanted, and so far, the car is excellent. It’s my first BMW, so they made sure to teach me how to use it and were patient with me throughout the purchasing process.There is a small issue with the spring in the trunk, but they are working with me to see how to get it taken care of. But overall I am highly satisfied with the purchase and the service I’ve received so far.2/11/2021:Barnes took care of me for my 1st service appointment and he was SOOO accommodating!!! He definitely gets 10 stars hands down for his exceptional service! The car was ready in maybe an hour or less! I love BMW! My experience has been nothing short of amazing from purchase to service!!

If zero stars was an option I’d give that. Absolute terrible service. From the front desk service guy to the services techs in the back. You pay loads of money for a nice vehicle and they charge even more for a service and it’s ridiculous they can’t just service the oil they want to charge for all these test on a 2020. Why should a 2020 be needing test ran and if it does it should be covered under the warranty. A simple 3000 mile service should be 1000$ on a 2020. Terrible business. Will never get my business. Not to mention was stuck on the side of the road after that $1000 service because the part that was serviced is now broke spewing fluid.
Friendly staff - of course, if you browse to view the new vehicles you will be approach by a salesperson (just doing their job) but there is no pressure to trade and upgrade. Salesperson will hold conversation and explain new features, et cetera to you in a very amicable manner. Comfortable waiting area; SNACKs for the long wait if you decide to wait for your vehicle; Service center representative keeps you abreast of your vehicle status and will explain in details what work was completed and if needed, suggestions for future service.
My service rep (Chris Barnes) was very professional and thorough. I felt my business was important. His service was prompt and he was prepared for my arrival and respected my time. I felt confident in his expertise and he made himself completely knowledgeable of my cars service history. I was comfortable accepting recommended services for my car to increases its safety and reliability. Thank you! You made my service experience awesome. Clone him and your costumer service rating will soar.
BMW of Columbus is great. I live in atlanta and found my car online. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly nice, informative and truthful. Jackie was my salesperson and she is amazing. They drove the car up to me and made everything easy. Great experience. Highly recommend. Ask for Jackie!
I received fast, courteous service from Stan Treadway during the purchase process of my 2021 X3 and also from Thomas when I came in for the orientation for the features of my new car. I am over impressed and overjoyed by the level of professionalism, knowledge, and care from the BMW-Columbus team. I just purchased my third BMW and I have never had this level of care, attention to detail, and wrap-around services from a dealership. I initially found my dream vehicle while browsing online. I made an inquiry late Sunday evening and was greeted by Stan via email and a personal call the very next morning to schedule a viewing. I came in later that afternoon and worked with Jackie Waters. Jackie was PHENOMENAL and the most genuine person Ive ever done business with. She explained everything to me in laymans terms, got me an unbeatable deal, and stayed with me from start to finish. I was also supported by Brooks Brannan who took me for my test drive and explained every line on each document. Lastly, Thomas Wright, the BMW Genius, helped with installing all the necessary apps and got my car configured to my liking. If you are looking for a top-of-the-line professional and personable experience, look no further. BMW Columbus, and Jackie in particular, are more concerned with the relationship they clearly build with their customers, and they want to ensure that you are happy with your purchase. Great service. My intake was completed in less than 5 minutes. My loaner was brought to me and I was on my way. The outtake was completed in less than 5 minutes. My auto was brought to me with the service completed and a clean car. This is one of the reasons I have purchased 6 BMWs from the dealership. Thanks for a great experience.
Our vehicle was picked up and a loaner provided. The shop turned around the vehicle the same day and returned the vehicle in the afternoon. We had an issue with the rear viper blade, which the dealership and BMW took care under warranty. Nothing more important than manufacturer and dealer standing behind the product and place customer satisfaction first.
Not very good overall. Mr. Barnes was very professional and helpful. The Cost was extremely high and my car has been with the dealership tech for 3 weeks now. I’ve had a loner for 1 week and had a blowout doe to a pothole last evening, in which now I’m being charged for as well, and I’m not happy about that at all!
These guys are the best! Zach took care of me and made me feel right at home even though I was out of town. He got me in for an appointment right away and make sure everything was working properly.I always am glad to get good customer service even when I’m away from home. I didn’t get exceptional customer service. Rather mediocre to say the least. The service department seem quite a bit irritated that I came in last minute looking for a “Oil drain plug”. I know you guys are doing construction to improve the atmosphere at the facility, but one thing I don’t like is feeling uncomfortable. I didn’t feel welcomed. This needs to change immediately. Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference!
If you are considering to purchase a car from them and it is NOT a BMW, don’t do it. We purchased a Kia from them, a week later we had several issues and didn’t get any help from them. We’re sent down to Kia and told that since we didn’t buy from them, we couldn’t get as much help as we were told by BMW. We have a trunk that sometimes opens by hand. Never by the fob. Just to name one.
Exceptional experience!! My salesman David Noelte was very knowledgeable and polite. He was not pushy what so ever. I looked at the car I wanted and he made the purchase happen! I bought my car in cash and because of him will buy another car tomorrow in cash as well with David being my salesman! OUTSTANDING work David!
BMW location reached out to me on a BMW Certified car I purchased. The manager questioned the service and general details from sale. I will say BMW vehicles in general are great, but the sales person did not fully disclose the details on the car outer condition. After asking many times and in discussion verbally; no scratches or blemishes showing, and the answer was none and in great condition. Once the car was received, it was obvious there were areas that could have easily been addressed at the dealership and was not corrected, even as a certified vehicle. Trusting the dealership will contact me and have a discussion to make this right.12/21/2019 Update - The manager responds back that they are sorry for sales persons response; I still cannot get a response to an issue dating back to Thanksgiving. I had spoke to him and emailed him, with no success. I had service done in Macon and they stated to be able to address locally with Columbus to approve process; No Response or Action. The car is very nice, but undisclosed blemishes on a car as it is delivered is not acceptable. The (lack of) response is even more concerning. Be sure to clearly communicate expectations while working with location.
This was hands down the easiest and friendliest bu ying experience I have ever had. I live 2.5 hours away, and buying a car here was better than any local purchase I have made in the past. The client adviser had excellent follow up and actually found me a corporate CPO BMW from their auction in Atlanta. He found me a 2018 540i with 10k miles that was loaded!! It was exactly the car that I was looking for and at an incredible price. They gave me a fair price for my trade (sight unseen), and a very good price on the BMW. I completed my finance app online, and was immediately notified that BMW gave me the promotional rate. The poor guy who I was talking to received non-stop texts from me asking questions about the car and its features, etc... He took it all in stride and always replied right back to me. I did not have the best experience with the local BMW dealership, and it was actually hard to try to give them my business. I was willing to drive to Columbus to handle everything, but I didnt have to! They sent a driver with the car and he picked up my trade and took it back to Columbus. The level of professionalism and customer serviced is unmatched! Check these guys out for your next car purchase.

We were visiting family in Eufaula, AL when our BMW check engine light came on. We received an appointment for the next day and got excellent customer service from service technician Zack and the person who greeted us upon arrival at the service department. Our car was repaired and it gave us peace of mind as we had to travel back home to VA.
This dealership’s service department helped me in a big way. Columbus has a few potholes, and I hit one of them. When I got to the center, they were very professional and courteous. They were able to get me on my way with a new tire. Well done BMW of Columbus! Keep up the friendly and professional atmosphere.
This is the 1st time Ive brought my car in and had the exceptional service from the time I exited my car until I left the dealership. The young guy who greeted was very courteous and walked me to the service advisor. Christopher Barnes was very professional. He was detailed from asking me what problem was, explaining what he was going to do, took pictures of my car prior to service and texted them, updated me on timing and explained what was wrong with my car. There is nothing I can complain about with his service.
Garbage service department. Told my Girlfriend she was ignorant and incompetent. Took weeks to find out information that should have been done within hours. I wouldn’t take a car there to get it fixed unless you’re ready to negotiate like a used car salesman would do. Just because she was a woman they were trying to charge her way more than it should have cost. The management refunded her money and she was able to take it to a local mechanic who fixed it in a matter of hours. I wouldn’t advise taking anything to get worked on there. I can guarantee you if Barnes worked for me his a$$ would be fired.
Mr. Wesley is a phenomenal service rep. My car needed several things done and he was on top of it all. Additionally, he kept me in the know about everything and informed me of any changes to what we originally discussed. He was beyond helpful and even provided additional tips to care for my vehicle.
Fantastic experience! My salesman, Dave Noelte, went above and beyond to explain every feature of the models I was interested in and even made a video for the rest of my family to see the features of the car I selected. A very easy, pressure free, and satisfying experience. We will be back!
My sales rep., Jackie, is very knowledgeable and professional. I was purchasing my vehicle from out or state and we were doing everything over the phone, emails, online, wire transfers and adding accessories before I even went to the dealership to finalize the deal. Once I arrived everything went smoothly.
I am especially appreciative for the friendly and customer skills exhibited by Wesley. At all times he was very courteous and respectful. He helped me to get my car fixed within the constraints of my insurance company and made it happen. He always made sure I had transportation for my traveling needs. I would have him assist me at any time with my car issues. He was truly professional.
A very delayed correction to my prior review... after an initial poor experience, Columbus BMW completely changed my mind about them! Great experiences at this BMW Dealership. My service advisor, Carson, was very professional, making sure I understood what services were done on my car. My car was cleaned inside and outside when I came to pick it up. A very nice Thank You note was left inside of the car written by Carson. I appreciated the thoughtfulness. I enjoy driving my BMW and appreciate the special service and attention I get when I take my car in for service.
Great experience overall. Purchased over the internet as I live in the Philadelphia area. Dave was quick to respond and easy to work with on the purchase. They had it shipped to my house quickly and delivered early! Smoothest car purchase I have ever had. Quality all around and would look to purchase again from them.
If youre looking for a great BMW service center, look no further. This place is top-notch! Clean facilities, quick service, and friendly staff. Andrew, my service adviser, is the man. Clearly communicates everything that needs done and what my options are while just being an all around cool dude at the same time. I wouldnt hesitate to get my car serviced here again.
I do not recommend bringing your vehicle here. Go to Autonation or a different dealer. I brought my car in for a full inspection and they couldn’t tell me why my breaks were squeaking. They COULD however tell me why my light went on which was cost 250$ to run it though a scanner. Four weeks later the receptionist called me to offer me services in two separate issues they didn’t mention beforehand. I give it two stars cause an older gentleman in there knows his stuff about M3s.
After receiving horrible service at another BMW facility, I reached out to the service center in Columbus. Carrie was my service advisor and she made the whole experience wonderful. The professionalism of the staff was great. The type of service you would expect from a BMW service center. They will be taking care of my BMW from now on. Thank you for your great service.
It is always a pleasure when I go to the BMW OF COLUMBUS GA dealership....everybody is very friendly, kind and helpful.....Purchased a X5MI would highly suggest this dealership, especially David Bass in service. He was knowledgeable, respectful, and kind. BMW customer service is in a class of their own and always makes you feel important!!!!!The ladies in the front offices, the sales reps,mechanics, office and janitorial personnel,the entire staff is very welcoming they call you by name which makes you feel like a good friend. We have been visiting this BMW dealership for over the past three years. The first two were a little less than pleasurable than one would expect from a BMW facility. However, the past year has been a much better experience and we are truly grateful. The service assistance that was provided by Ms. Ellis and Mr. Mayer is very much appreciated! I let him know exactly what I was looking for, and he stayed in contact with me through the whole process on prospects, and when the search slowed down, he let me know he was still looking and has not forgotten me. I don’t trust BMW service department anymore. They were supposed to charge me for two things I needed but they did other services I didn’t ask. Also, the lady there denied that she received the keys and that the car was dropped by the tow service. She is not reliable and honest. I don’t like fake faces and don’t think that other customers would like to get through the same issues as I did with them.
One star because I used to work at BMW in Colorado as a parts advisor and we always made sure customer service was top notch, we didn’t give attitude to a customer for simply explaining their situation and the circumstances, which is what I got from the service advisor I spoke with. After I explained myself, I got a rude “so do you want to schedule an appointment or not!” then put on hold forever! I hung up, guess I’ll have to wait until I’m stationed back in Colorado to get my BMW serviced.

The entire BMW staff is top notch and exceeded all expectations. The service department is top notch and professional!!! Mr David annotated all my concerns and addressed each one and called me throughout the day with updates and requested permission to do work order tasks found. This was truly the ultimate driving experience Thanks BMW !!!!!
The shop did not put the rubber mounts that go on top of my radiator back. My expansion tank mounting hardware was missing as well. The whole assembly was loose. Also they never disconnected my battery and as a result of this my new battery was completely discharged and I had to replace it.
Awful service department; every time I take my vehicle here for service, it is returned with more problems. Took my car here for a regular service and radiator flush; when I left, all the warning lights came on. Called to report the issue and was given a washed-up excuse by the Service Attendant that sometimes air bubbles causes the liquid not to settle and was asked to return vehicle. This time, from the same service, a new hair line crack in the radiator and a $2,900 bill. Three weeks later, took my car back to get a bulb replaced for a head light and now, less that a week later, more issues with my lights resulting from that bulb replacement. Normally I would try to resolve without this Negative comment but the Service Manager is not available or too busy to take my call. A total rip-off; wish I could rate a Zero!!!
740i BMW: My experience here was very professional I must say. The choice was solely mine and the level of interest from the representative didn’t changed regardless if I were making a purchase or not. The staff had my best interest in mind by making sure I had the best rate from multiple financing institution. Overall my experience was refreshing, plus I love my purchase.
David Bass was absolutely exceptional!!!We were having a very bad day with our 2004 745Li. I was searching for a vehicle for several months. I had narrowed it down to 3 or 4. Jackie Waters contacted me to offer her help. She was very patient with me and would check with me every couple of weeks. She never tried to influence my decision. She only let me know she was there if I needed any information about autos. I really respected that. I ended up buying a car from her and was very pleased with her professionalism and warmth. She was a delight to work with.
If you are going to buy a car from BMW of Columbus GA, I can tell you that yes it is a beautiful and clean place full of beautiful cars. However, if you take your car there for services, you need to pay close attention to what they are going to tell you about your car. Look on Yelp for their reviews, its terrible. In fact if you have a few minutes look at the reviews here. Yes they have a lot of good reviews as far as people been happy with the purchase of a new car. The problem comes from the SERVICE DEPARTMENT Its very clear to see that all reviews from the service department are bad, the same stories. They will hook the key to the computer and tell you that there are all sorts of bad things with your car. If you dont know mechanics at all, I can tell you that they will take your money. Twice I have taken my car there for services and twice they have told me that I need certain repairs. The first time I went for new tires and the gentleman who took care of me told me that there was something wrong. I went and had it checked at another place and they told me that there was nothing wrong with the car. Last week I took it in again and this time I did have some serious problems with the car however, they added a laundry list of problems. Guess what? once again I took it somewhere else to get a second opinion and once again I was told that half of the problems on that list did not exist. If your car is under warranty its no problem, but if your warranty is expired dont go there. Dealers of all brands charge too much as is and to top it off BMW will try to add more to the list just make more money out of you. I wish I could give them zero starts but the program doesnt allow you to do so.
Took my i3 in for some warranty work, and Andrew in the service department took great care of me! They had to keep my car for a few days, but hooked me up with a loaner (2018 530e) that made me want to forget about it and just trade mine in hahaha. Definitely recommend!
BMW of Columbus has the Best Customer Services and Maintenance Department in the area. They track the maintenance due on your vehicle plus call you to schedule a time to come in. They ask if you need a loaner car or if you will wait for the repairs to be completed. Your vehicle comes back cleaned inside and out! The waiting area I rate at 5 stars! Thanks BMW of Columbus for a job well done.
Okay I’m back to finish my review I needed the name of the woman who took care of us. Carrie Ellis provided EXCELLENT customer service after a not so good experience at another BMW location filled with a lot of false promises and presences to make the sale. She was very professional and determined to changed our outlook on a situation that had nothing to do with her, but she believed in the service that THIS specific location provides and she was absolutely right. Car got taken care of and we feel VERY comfortable doing business here, thanks Carrie!P.S The the popcorn machine is a GREAT touch! Definitely a hit for my husband & our toddler!The Ruiz Family approves!!
My experience with BMW of Columbus started when Jackie Waters reached out to me after I had inquired about a new vehicle. Jackie worked for days attempting to find the right car within my price range. Once found she worked with her manger to expedite the process and literally took care of everything for me. I took my time making a final decision, driving an assortment of BMW and competitive cars. BMW of Columbus, especially Brooks, Brandon and Alex, went the extra mile (literally) to ensure I made an informed choice (an M3). Brooks spent a 6 hour round trip with me to pick up my car and Alex spent the time needed to find an extra $1,000 rebate (always appreciated). Overall a very positive experience. Much appreciated. I was able to bring my car in the day I requested an appointment. I had two specific issues with my BMW that I needed resolved before making a 300 hundred mile trip by myself the next day. My BMW advisor, Mrs. Jennings, recorded in detail my concerns with my car and read her notes back to me to insure my specific concerns would be addressed. She also notified me of two upgrades BMW was offering me, which pleased me very much: 1) my airbags could be upgraded at a time in the near future, and 2) my onboard travel assistance could be updated if I desired, or I could receive a Visa gift card at equal value if I chose not to have the upgrade installed. While my car was being serviced, I waited in an attractive, comfortable waiting area and enjoyed cup of free coffee and the Auburn football game, and I had access to a very clean, modern restroom. Mrs. Jennings made sure that both mechanical issues with my car were thoroughly addressed and resolved. She reviewed with me every detail of what had been done to my car and made sure I was completely satisfied that my issues had been thoroughly addressed before I left her office. I left the BMW service department feeling confident that I was safe to make my trip, with a freshly cleaned car, and - as I discovered on the road the next day - my windshield wiper fluids had been refilled with cleaning solution to insure safe vision on my trip! Really awful experience. We just bought new tires in November (and replaced two of them in January due to an irreparable flat tire) and they tried to get us to buy new tires for the back yesterday saying they were worn down!!! This car gets driven maybe 25 miles a day. There is absolutely no way we needed new tires after 7 months. Absolutely livid and we will never take the vehicle back this dealership.
This place rules. If you want to have a great buying experience come to BMW of Columbus!! I got my 340i from here and it was amazing. I accidentally test rode and then had to buy. Financing was a breeze. The finance manager, sales manager and general manager are all great people that worked to get us the best deal. The store is beautiful and clean. This is the place to go for a great experience!
Garbage dealership. Never been treated with such disrespect in my life. Misdiagnosed my car. Charged me $5200 dollars and refused to fix my car. Service advisor bluntly told me not to come back. Never give your money to the service department at this dealership. They go back on their word and then play dumb to get out of being at fault
I purchased my wife a used Volvo from BMW (they are a reputable large dealership, or so I thought even recommended through the USAA car buying service). The day after we left the dealership the car started having issues she noticed at work there was no oil in the engine as well as the tire sensor lights indicating there was an issue. The dealership filled up the oil and said not to worry about the tire pressure light since the checked the tried and theyre good to go. So a week later the car just wont start and needs to be jumped and continues to do that for the next few days every morning I call the dealership and tell them the issues and the sales manager says to bring it in the next day and theyd take care of it. My wife called ahead before she went by and maintenance said they werent aware of anything and all they would do is a safety inspection and thats it which had already been performed the day we got the car 1 week prior. So I took the car to a auto zone to see if the battery had issues and the test came back stating the battery was good and only 7 months old but all the connectors were loose so we tighten then and go from there. No issues for a week and then the same issues start again and there is loud squeaking sound coming from the tires. So I call the dealership asking to speak to the GM and am told that hes not in but to leave my name and number and hell get back to me. 2 days later still no reply. I call again and am told that hes busy this time but hell definitely call me back. This goes on for almost 2 weeks so I take the car to the Volvo dealership to have it checked out and the break cylinders need to be replaced (thats $600 or so out of pocket) I didnt ask about the battery issue which I know I should have then. I continue to call the dealership every 2 to 3 days for about 2 weeks and even email them, never to receive a call back only that the GM is always busy or not in. The battery gets so bad that my wife gets stranded at the grocery store and need to be towed and we get the battery replaced (another $150 out of pocket) and finally no issues, or so I think. I leave the country for 2 weeks for work. Come back to the car being dead again this time totally. I get it jumped and go to the store (was inside for maybe 15 min) and the cars dead again get it jumped but its not sounding right. Start to drive home and cant get the engine past 1000 rpm or go faster then 5mph.Dont do business with BMW of Columbus! All they care about is getting your money and then forgetting about you! Absolute worst customer service I have ever receive!
0 Stars if possible. BUYER BEWARE - just went through the absolute WORST sales experience ever with BMW Columbus. Two words to describe this dealership: UNTRUSTWORTHY and UNETHICAL.Dealt with Sales associate JEROME MCCRAY and General Manager CHARLES SOLIS and these guys are the shadiest guys in town.Called in for a potential out of state purchase on a 440i conv the first day it was listed. Jerome (sales associate) confirmed availability. After two days of going through specifics and finally agreeing upon exact price, I eagerly awaited docs to sign but two hours after written/verbal confirmation, the car was “mysteriously” sold. Charles Solis (Sales GM) gave me the runaround about not knowing what was going on (even though he set the agreed upon price!) and quickly dismissed me on the phone.During the entire two-day ordeal, Jerome made no effort to close the deal (umm, ask for a deposit to secure the car…?) or even proceed with next steps (weird for a salesman to not want to close a sale, right?) I had to chase him down multiple times to inquire about process and docs. When it was “convenient” for this dealership, they sold the car to a local buyer even though there was a verbal and written agreement on my end. Felt like the rug was pulled right under me! Two days and endless calls/texts wasted and time I will never get back.Again, super unethical and grossly unprofessional dealership with JEROME MCCRAY and CHARLES SOLIS involved. If you are thinking of making an out of state purchase, or even local to the ATL-Columbus area, AVOID THIS DEALER AT ALL COSTS.
I was in Columbus to visit family. My car messed up on Sunday as I was getting ready to head home. BMW of Columbus took me in on Monday and gave me exceptional service. They took my car to the back and diagnosed the car quickly. They even sent a technician to Macon to get the part that I needed so I could get on the road to head back home. All in all, they had my car ready the same day and they gave me a loaner car since they had to drive to Macon to get the part for my car. My service specialist, Sharon, was excellent. I would recommend Sharon and this service department to anyone who has a BMW in the area.
I was in the market for a new auto-mobile. I knew I did not want a new car, but a clean, low mileaged suv. Jackie, at BMW of Columbus, found the perfect suv: a black, white leather Mercedes GLA.BMW of Columbus was professional, and made sure I was happy with my purchase. From sales to sales manager, BMW of Columbus made me thankful I chose them for my auto choice.I had gone to another car lot &told their salesman what I wanted and was ready to buy. He assured me he could get the car I wanted.He has yet to call me back. Within a week, Jackie at BMW of Columbushad me in probably the last car I will own. I’ve never seen a more greedier dealership in my life. I’ve tried to buy here 3 times and get the same attitude every time. a place that targets the military base in town and gives you the I’m gonna sale cars regardless attitude. Never been treated so poorly and talked to so poorly in my life by a dealership, UNBELIEVABLE. To all my fellow military folks and veterans do yourself a favor and drive the hour to Atlanta and save a ton of money where there’s actual competition unlike this place that marks cars up over book. I went to Atlanta and they beat this dealership by 5,000$ on the same loaded vehicle with about the same mileage I even had 4 different cars to choose from and I actually received good money for my trade in. One star is to much for this place. On a side note I love the service department here we already own a bmw and bring it here all the time couldn’t be happier with them especially Carrie my go to service advisor. my salesman Dave nolte was a stand up guy, very kind and enthusiastic and he tried his best with me. If more people were like this man the world would be a better place 5 stars for you Dave keep up the good work it’s a shame we couldn’t do business.
Mr. James Wade is fabulous! I haven’t known him very long but I feel like he’s part of my family now.Mr. David Bass is top notch! He listens to me ramble on and on. Ha! And he is straight forward about everything! If he’s not sure about something he tells you and finds out the answer.So far this has been one of the best experiences. I’ve lived all over the country and dealt with a lot of great BMW dealerships, I’ve even had a previous bad experience at BMW of Columbus but I am thankful I gave them a second chance.
This is the worst service department Ive ever had to experience in my life. They damaged my headlight during the repairs and did everything to pass it off as they dont know if it was already damaged. Even though one of the services associates saw and confirmed it was done while in the dealership. I had to bring my car from Ocoee Fl to get this kind of bull.... NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Will definitely inform every soldier and friend I know about it...
Do yourself a favor and take your BMW elsewhere. I have had the worst experience ever with this dealership, namely Service Advisor (Jerome Sheatts). I have begun, and will continue to advise, all Soldiers at Fort Benning who own a BMW to utilize the service of South Atlanta BMW.

2022-06-25I visited this dealership in June to service my M6. I only note the model of my car as unfortunately it requires special tires, special oil, special parts etc., which can be a challenge for many dealerships to order and service. Since moving from Houston last year, where there are 3 M-qualified BMW dealerships within 30 minutes of each other, I have struggled to find a place to service my car (trust me don’t take your car to the Montgomery BMW dealership). However, when I arrived, Zach took care of me and I was able to get two tires changed, my alignment recalibrated, oil changed, and full diagnostic tests done in just under 3 hours, which is insanely efficient. The staff was friendly, the facility and waiting area were spotlessly clean, and there were many new models of BMW to gawk at while waiting. I truly can’t say anything negative about my experience at this location and will be returning as soon as my car needs its next maintenance!

2022-03-30As this was my first time visiting BMW, I didn’t know what to expect, but I assumed the best. I wasn’t disappointed. Class is the word I would use to describe the experience. For the moment I walked in until the last signature, I was treated with respect and kindness. I would like to give a shout-out to Stan! Class act all the way! Thanks for a wonderful experience. 2022-03-21It was great experience at the BMW of the Columbus. Everyone was very nice and greeted with smile as soon as we walked in. Mr. James Wade, our sales person was amazing. He was reasonable and offered a fair price, and the whole process was so smooth. Then our finance manager was also amazing. He went through and explained my questions and really helped us make a big decision. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to buy BMW!

2022-06-29BMW made the car buying experience extremely enjoyable! Our salesperson Justin was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable! The manager introduced himself (never met one before at any dealership!) and the finance person was equally adept at his job with some good suggestions as well. Also, Thomas had us using the BMW app in no time and much more familiar with this incredible car. All in all, BMW went above and beyond. Nice to see this still exists in a car dealership!

2022-06-02I took my car to the BMW dealership on Friday because it wasn’t sounding right. After a diagnosis I was told the part would have to be shipped overnight and with the Memorial Day holiday the part wouldn’t be there until Wednesday when I had a trip planned. My adviser, Logan, kept me up to date on when my car would be finished and sure enough it was ready for pickup at 11:00 am. I couldn’t have been happier and me and my grandchildren has a safe drive to Florida! Very pleased with everything, especially my advisor and the service technician 👍

2022-02-10My recent experience purchasing a quality pre-owned vehicle from BMW of Columbus was very quick, easy and pleasant. I had seen the vehicle I was interested in on their website one night and went to take a test drive the next morning. The salesman who accompanied me on the test drive and also assisted me with the purchase was super nice and friendly.the other gentleman who helped with all the documentation and payment transaction was also very nice. I purchased a 2018 vehicle and both the interior and exterior look absolutely brand new. I would highly recommend purchasing from this dealership!

2021-09-11I love that I always have the same service advisor.Mr. Barns gives me exceptional service each visit. This time my baby (x6) had multiple issues and had to be admitted overnight. I was constantly updated on the progress via text or phone call. Services were completed in a timely manner and my car looked brand new when I picked it up! All issues seemed to be repaired and she’s running good. Hats off to Mr. Barns and BMW of Columbus!

2022-07-01This used to be a great place to buy a car and to get your car serviced. Ive been coming here for 11 years and this place has gone downhill. You get ignored and a two hour service will turn into 5 hours of waiting. Also, even though you can place appointments online, they only do things such as oil changes, tires, and basic maintenance on Saturdays. I was told there was only one technician working this day. I offered to reschedule, but the guy declined saying well, youre here now. So if you live out of town and/or work a typical Monday thru Friday job like I do, I suggest you find other options for service. If I knew Id be sitting in the waiting room 5 hours, I wouldve got a rental car and dropped mine off. Yes, I know they have loaner cars and pickup/drop-off service but whenever I ask about these services, theyre never available so I no longer rely on that.At one point, the guy came up to me to say he was going to get an update and never came back. Funny how with one technician, everyone that came in after me had their cars serviced in a timely matter. Even other customers were asking me why I was still waiting!However, Mr. James Wade is THE best salesman I ever met and is carrying this place on his back! I will forever recommend him to anyone looking for a vehicle. But the rest of them? 👎🏾
