Were going to have to charge you a higher interest rate.Me: Wait--the car is less valuable than you thought it was, but youre going to make me pay more for it?Manager: Um, yes.Me:
Im from Illinois and bought a BMW in Macon. This process has been a nightmare getting the plates transferred from one state to another but Yersha and team were super patient and accommodating which made the experience pleasant. Thank you so much! Special shout out to Ms. Cathey.
Amazing Car purchasing experience all thanks to the friendly staff at BMW of Macon! To begin with, Brandon our salesman was very friendly and made the whole process super smooth. Michael was our financial specialist, he is very experienced and answered all of our questions, its the first time we felt like there was no hidden fees or we were talked into making a decision we were not comfortable with. The staff at BMW of Macon make your car purchasing experience a very easy and pleasant one! 100% recommend you to come buy your dream car here!
This BMW service department is IMPECCABLE! Here is the back story. I live in Richmond VA and was heading to my sisters Wedding. Before I left Richmond I had my windshield wipers replaced. When I pulled out I wanted to launch (I drive a manual). When I dropped the clutch it said my clutch was slipping and I got a drive tran malfunction. I turned around and went right back to Richmond BMW. They said there is nothing wrong and I am good to drive all the way to Warner Robins GA. I start my trip about two hours in while using cruise control my clutch starts to slip! The wedding is in two days and its getting late so I cant turn around. I called the dealership that sold me the car and they directed to Macon BMW as it was near my final destination. I called Macon right away and gave them all of my information and what was wrong. I dropped my car off the next morning and the service manager greeted me personally in the lane. They gave me a loaner out of cycle and kept me updated. They fought for me to not have to pay a penny for the clutch/flywheel replacement! They then had my car ready to leave within 48 hours! I was able to make it to the wedding and my car was fixed in extraordinary time! If I were you I would have my BMW serviced here. Hell, I would even by a car from them if I were in the area looking. CLASS ACT SERVICE. PERIOD.
Recently came to do a prepaid oil for three years after talking to Lindsay and Amber I was told that I wasn’t able to do that however it’s very confusing because I called to other dealerships who told me something different I also went ahead and called after leaving that location today another dealership and they confirm that I can go ahead and sign up without any kind of stipulations will not be returning customer service they give the experience which sucks when you’re buying an expensive car! I would definitely recommend going to another BMW dealership or facility. However I feel as if they can do what they want due to them being hours away from any other dealership
I would like to thank BMW of Macon for their outstanding customer service. My husband and I had a flat tire on Sunday, spent the night in the hotel just down the street from the dealership so we could be there when they opened. They handled our issue with ease, had the correct tire in stock and had us going in no time. The service advisor Mac Angley was a blessing, very professional and knowledgeable. I had some other minor issues with my car, Mac provided me an estimate, even though he knew I would not get them done that day, he went the extra step to keep me informed . As I sit in the waiting room I noticed how everyone I encountered was very welcoming. If I lived closer I would definingly return to this dealership. Great group of people!
I would like to compliment Nadia at BMW of Macon. She has a beautiful personality and her professionalism is bar none the best. She sold my husband a car and work diligently with him to get him his dream car. Thank you so much Nadia❤️ You now have customers for life. BMW you have a gem 💎 with Nadia. Thank you so much
Fantastic experience from start to finish. Just picked up an M760 from Micheal Perez and the transaction couldnt have been more flawless. Great service, fast, and great price. (Normally you can only pick two of these accolades, if that). Will be exclusively buying all my BMWS from this dealer in the future. P.S. this was an out of state purchase. Hands down one of the top car purchases I have made in a while. Michael, if you read this. Thank you. God Bless, Eddie G.
Buying a BMW was simple but getting it serviced is anything but frustrating. They use a automated system that confirms appointments and they don’t stand by the service. The benefit of having a ca luxury car is just headaches and no longer is any different than any other car. At least with a gmc we can get service.
Do not buy a used car from this dealer. They will not honor repairs. They will use the AS IS Georgia law loophole to screw you. They put it in with all your financing paperwork and present it as a piece of paper stating, “this is if you need to sue us”. I had continuous breakdowns within the first 7000 miles on my 2011 Audi A3 2.0T resulting in out of pockets between car repairs and going to court of close to $5,000. Plus any preexisting damage on the vehicle will be under estimated on any discount.
I bought a car Today from BMW of Macon. Jeremiah Jackson was my salesman, he was wonderful!! I am in my 70s and know nothing about these modern cars. He was so patient with me and he showed me every feature of this car and how to use it, he also told me to drive it a bit and if I had any additional questions to write them down and call or text him and he’d go over those questions with me. If you decide to go to BMW of Macon definitely ask for Jeremiah.
My salesperson Tyler Hill was great. He was honest and really tried to give me the best deal possible. I had my heart set on a Lexus but it had not been delivered so Tyler showed me a Volvo S60. It is amazing! He and Anthony got me financed and on my way within 2 hours including a test drive. I recommend them highly!
Thank you Chad Andrews for an excellent, and smooth buying experience. We contacted Chad about the particular vehicle we were looking at, he let us know the availability, we set up a test drive, and proceeded with the purchase. BMW of Macon, and Chad especially made this a flawless and excellent experience and we could not be more thankful. Everything that was discussed that we wanted to happen, they made it work effortlessly. Thank you, and we look forward to our continued business together.
I was interested in a vehicle located at one of their sister dealerships in South Carolina , so the salesperson, Chad Andrews, arranged for the car to be transported to the Macon location and ensured that it was in good shape on arrival. The closing process couldnt have been easier and other members of the BMW of Macon team were very kind and helpful along the way. I would definitely purchase from BMW of Macon and Chad again.
Went there from Atlanta suburbs. Fantastic experience, service was great. Worked with Chad Andrews who was top notch, super quick follow up with answers to questions. Also thanks to Mike in Finance. Ended up getting a deal on a new 2021 X5 (with more options) that beat everyone else’s deals on loaners/demos with 2k+ miles. Everything done in afternoon, car delivered to my home (with a nice thank you gift inside). BMW’s aren’t cheap & you might as well go where they actually treat you like you’re spending a bunch of money. If you’re in the BMW market, make this your first call.
I had the pleasure of purchasing a vehicle from BMW of Macon. From the initial contact and throughout the sales experience, my sales person Micah made the transaction seamless. The entire staff from Micah, to Mike (finance department) all the way to the delivery drivers who delivered my car to my home in Atlanta from Macon were top notch. This dealership takes customer experience very seriously. I highly recommend working with them.
From beginning to end customer service and knowledge was outstanding. Couldt have asked for anything better. Jason Diaz went above and beyond making a smooth transaction happen for me. Not to mention I live in FL and he handled the delivery of my vehicle. Red Carpet service. Would definitely recommend friends and family to him!
Anthony Lotardo was my sales person. He did a wonderful job. My experience with Bmw in New Jersey was not good. I had to work to hard for buying a product. I found my car in Macon Georgia. Reached out to Anthony and had a wonderful experience. He shipped my car to New Jersey !! Thank you.
I purchased a brand new 2021 car from this dealer and the most recent experience was one of the worst I have ever had in my lifetime. They sold me a car with no discount. It arrived with paint issues, the front roundel damaged and a small chip in the windshield. After notifying them nothing was done to correct the problems. - More importantly I was owed thousands of dollars in warranty refund on the car I traded in and in short, it took me contacting the Senior VP of BMW North America to be able to get the finance manager to return my money. Completely unsat. Will not do business with them ever again and recommend you be extremely careful and choose your dealership wisely when you buy your next BMW.
I was driving from Louisville, KY to Naples, FL when I had a problem on the road. I used my BMW Nav system to find BMW of Macon and called them to arrange service. They were great in getting me in to address my emergency and addressing it within a few hours, getting me back on the road. I really appreciate the excellent service I received from Michael, Shelly and the entire service department. The mechanic even came out to explain the problem I had and what he did to fix it. If you live in Macon, imagine the level of service you would get when they do this for someone from out of town that is likely not to return to their dealership!
I brought my LAST BMW from BMW of Macon. I will no longer do business with them because they are a BIG joke. I would recommend anyone who would like a good deal on a BMW please avoid this location. The salesman pretends that he is trying to work a deal with the financial manager but they are full crooks. Please avoid this location if possible .
First experience buying car in general and could not be more pleased. These are the nicest people you will meet and their costumer service is like no other. Definitely recommend coming here and hopefully in the future I will be back. Also shoutout to Ed and Mike for helping me with the whole process. Yall were amazing.
This is the worst dealership I’ve ever been to! We bought a car in Aug actually it was Aug 15th 2020! We are just now getting our tag for the car as of today April 19th 2021. They have gave us a run around every day that North Carolina still had the title that there wasn’t anything they could do. We have had 4 dealership temp tags, and one extinction from the tag office. We weren’t able to get anymore tags so BMW of Macon sent us a dealers tag (after a run around telling us to drive with no tag, and if we got pulled over tell them to call BMW of Macon) what a joke we live literally almost 3 hours away from this dealership! They sent us a check in the mail to go get our tag and to pay the tag fees (which was suppose to be covered on their part) we were gone on vacation when they overnight all of that stuff, and she told us to overnight the dealers tag back to BMW, we did a few days later (I mean they weren’t in hurry for us, and we were on vacation). So a lady that works there the controller as she calls herself sent me an email that said “ We have to keep a tight rein on those tags (talking about the dealers tag) and I will have to report it stolen (which it wasn’t)”. She also said “ and file a police report with your name and information on it”. Whatever you do, don’t go to this dealership, I wouldn’t want anyone else in the shoes I’ve been in for 8 months now! It has literally been pure hell, and I will never ever use this dealership again. Save your time and money, just keep driving to the next dealership! 🙂
The salesperson Mercedes (of BMW) knew I had been looking at getting a Jeep. She called me with the quote about repairs of my older BMW 300 series, and I asked her about the Jeep. After talking to her, I asked if shed get the paperwork started and Id come by and sign it. It was a smooth transaction. Probably the easiest transaction shed done up until this point. I love the vehicle, and appreciate the service they offered. A great place to purchase a vehicle. And ask for Mercedes. She was great to work with!
My daughter and I went to get her 1998 BMW serviced. They were very snooty about the fact that they were only interested in Servicing the current date Mercedes. Even though they were able to help her if they could have fixed the ignition problem. My daughter and I are not going to be Mercedes customers or refer them to our children in the future.
I’ve bought a lot of cars over the years and Vanessa and Curtis at BMW of Macon were truly a pleasure to work with. They offered outstanding service and delivery of my new X3 M40i. Their pricing on the vehicle was better than any Atlanta area dealer and the negotiations were quick and painless.Vanessa was quick to answer all of my questions over the phone and made sure everything was in perfect order to walk in, sign paperwork, and drive away. I couldn’t be happier with the process and the vehicle. This is the kind of service and experience that will make me a repeat customer.
My experience was superb!!!! My sales person, Curtis Harris and James Hunt, who has since retired, was more than exceptional. Jason Diaz was outstanding, as well. The team was very professional, highly skilled individuals, who knows what to do in any given situation. I am so blessed and highly favored to have such great people surrounding me. The BMW of Macon is a great place, and I really enjoy being a valued customer. The BWM is the ultimate driving experience!!! And, that is what i value the most!!!
You brace yourself going into a car dealer. Prepare mentally for the oncoming “pushy salesmen.” And then… they don’t come. Instead, you get friendly people who don’t try to “push” anything on you. They’re helpful. They listen. They’re accommodating. That was my experience with BMW of Macon!I’ve been a customer since 2010, I refuse to shop anywhere else- BMW of Macon provides nothing but VIP services!Thank you BMW of Macon☺️
This was my first visit to BMW of Macon for my (new to me) 2015 X1 (love this car). Shelley took great care of me helped me navigate the ins and outs with my warranty and service. She went above and beyond. I had the car back really quickly, even though I dropped it off and told them no rush. Sheila checked with me about a complimentary car wash. Boy, was I surprised how clean the car was and they even cleaned the inside. I was so pleased with my visit. Everyone there was really friendly and helpful. I felt very at ease and comfortable.
BMW of Macon’s Service Department delivered the same exceptional service I have come to expect from them. Liz and Shelly are knowledgeable, friendly and go the extra mile to insure my experience was more than satisfactory. The work was done in less than the time estimated and they provided a thorough explanation of not only repairs completed, but also of the potential issues observed by the technician. I eas offered alternatives to waiting for my vehicle, but I choose to wait and work from their modern, clean and comfortable customer lounge. While waiting Terry inquired if I needed anything and offered snacks and refreshments. When I departed, my car was delivered bright and shiny after a complimentary wash and vacuum. All in all, I would have no hesitation in recommending BMW of Macon to my family and friends, not only for sales, but for service as well. Kudos!
I received a recall letter through the mail for my 2000 BMW 328Ci a while ago and on 6/22/20 I was able to take my car in to the local BMW Dealership in Macon, GA. I scheduled this over the phone 2 weeks in advance and was scheduled to have a free loaner vehicle while my car was being fixed. I noticed on the letter sent to me the words There are a few options to help overcome the inconvenience of bringing your vehicle in for service, if needed. Contact your local BMW center to check what is available. - as Macon is a 30-minute drive one way from my house and since neither my time nor my gas is cheap, I would have accepted the free loaner as compensation.I got to the dealer a few minutes early and got checked in with a service worker. After gathering my insurance from my car to receive the loaner, I was told that due to liability issues, BMW was not able to give me a loaner. A further inconvenience as I was expecting to take care of errands while my car was being fixed. The fix took 2 hours in total.I then asked the service representative for my other compensation options. Eventually I was brought to the manager to ask, and the manager was rude and not willing to listen to me or see my point that I should be compensated as this was not my fault - legally that BMW dealer had to fix this recall, and I the consumer should not be out of pocket for that. The manager, I believe not taking me serious both as I was younger and not as affluent as his typical customer base, stated well, it is a 20 year old car; I have never had a customer ask me this; any dealer would do the same (not compensate me); this is something that you have to do as a car owner; etc. I left upset at the inconvenience of being promised a loaner and not receiving one, and then infuriated that management did nothing in the way of customer service.Again, I, the consumer, should not be out of pocket for the fault of parts used in the making of my car. I understand that BMW paid for the repair, as they legally should. But to be given a letter saying I am entitled to options to overcome the inconvenience and then experiencing management having a disconnect with that has put a sour taste in my mouth. To the manager, yes my car is 20 years old. And I will be needing a new one soon, and I will be sure not to go to the Macon dealership when I do.I am giving 2 stars as opposed to 1 as the service staff themselves were attentive and careful, and the waiting room was exceptional.
The only part that was exceptional was the salesperson and BMW Genius Kwame that worked with me. The level of service from finance and communication was horrible. Will buy a car from Ed any day, but wont work through BMW again for anything ever again outside of the product and maintenance.
BMW of Macon has been providing excellent service on our cars for over 20 years. Nikki scheduled the appointment, arranged the pick up and a loaner. Lindsay handled the service and kept me informed of the progress. I never see them, but the service techs also have always done a great job.
This is my first purchase with BMW of Macon. The experience from purchasing the car in August, up until servicing in January has been excellent! Purchasing was smooth and easy, and when it came time for my oil change, they called me a month ahead of time to remind me and schedule the appointment. I needed a little extra work done due to hitting a curb and damaging two wheels. They gave me a loaner car so I could continue my normal routine. Everyone was very friendly! And Sheila did a great job keeping me posted! Service was great! I would definitely recommend BMW of Macon.
Dealer stepped up to solve my issue.(Update 11.10.20 to Buyer Beware 1 star review originally posted )- After initially leaving a one star review with many concerns I have changed the rating to 4 star for their customer service success. After speaking to customer care, shout out to Carla, The Dealer arranged for a loaner vehicle and driver to come to my home in Nashville and pick up my vehicle on 11.5.20 to correct the swirl marks. The Drivers were very friendly and took good care of car. I appreciate the use of a 2020 X5 while the issue with the clearcoat was being corrected. My vehicle came back today on 11.10. 20. It is cloudy here but it appears that most of the damage has been buffed out but noticed some of the swirls are still there though they are much less prevalent than before. My hope is that once the car gets hand washed again or it rains that the wax applied will not wear off causing the swirls marks to re-appear. Fingers Crossed.Thank you to Carla in customer relations for being amazing and thank you to Jeff, General Manager, for stepping up and addressing the issue and delivering a positive customer experience.(Update- 10.30.20 to 1 Star buyer beware review) -Mgt has responded to me and is working with me on a solution. I will update this review upon resolution)
Exceptional service, Phil Dean is outstanding as a sales representative. He went the extra mile to ensure we were happy with our BMW purchase. He has done this start to finish every time we have purchased a new BMW.Overall an excellent experience from this dealership. We would recommend them and Phil to all future customers.
I purchased a 2020 GMC Yukon this week with the help of Micah. I could not recommend BMW of Macon or Micah enough. I have searched so many other states, including my own but could not seem to find a salesman that actually wanted to negotiate a deal. Micah and I negotiated for 2 days and he NEVER gave up on me. He made it happen and even had the car delivered to me at no extra expense. It was so refreshing working with Micah and I know I will be back to do more business with him and BMW of Macon.
I wish I had something positive to say about my 3 visits. What Ive come to expect is bad service, indifferent uninformed representatives and incompetence. I had better expectations for a BMW dealership, unfortunately the service level never improved and only got worse with each visit.
We purchased a new X1 several months ago from Jason Stewart and have had a wonderful experience not only with the sales department but with their other departments as well. Our overall purchase transaction was quick, simple, and pleasant. Jason made our buying experience an excellent one. It was also neat to spend time with their BMW Genius in order to learn all the functions and constantly expanding technologies on our new purchase. We paid for it, and they want to make sure we know how to use these features! The service department is also fantastic. Our routine service was fast, but the technician was also thorough in making sure our X1 left the lot in tip top condition. BMW of Macon definitely knows what they are doing! The dealership overall seems to strive for the best customer experience from beginning to end. We will be buying again soon!
My service rep. ,Lindsey, went above and beyond to contact my extended warranty insurance and was able to get the major areas of need approved by the warranty carrier. She also took time to share details of some other areas of need and provided helpful information including possible tire replacement that would provide better tread wear. I have been having my car serviced by another BMW dealership in Florida, close to where I used to live. Your service was a notch above with extended personal attention. I will definitely return in the future.
I had had an unfortunate situation with my front splitter of my M4. I called my guy Omar to find out how to get this taken care of. He asked for some information of the car so he could quote me the correct pricing. He quickly got back with me. We agreed on a time for him to send out a BMW Genius to drop off a loaner and pickup my card. The following day Kwane picked up my car and dropped of loaner. The next day my car was back all done. I have never had such amazing service. Omar made my issue painless. Thank you all for the fantastic service.
Mr. Phill was a great help in getting us the cars we wanted. We were very impressed with the service that was rendered to us. Originally, we came in to buy a used car for my husband, but left with a car for each of us (one brand new and one used). We were really impressed by the level of service we received. We were contacted over the next few days just to see how well we like our cars and if we understood all the features or needed further demonstration on how those features worked. We have already recommended BMW of Macon to our friends.
I visited this dealership for the very first time last week. I was amazed from start to finish. I felt like a priority and the guys really took the time to insure my comfort. I had several questions and all answered in detail. I kicked started this experience with Majors. Learning about the BMW was an awesome experience. He allowed me to drive too. How cool is that. Majors is good at what he does and I felt good after his detailed tutorial. Anthony was my sales guy and he listened to what I needed from start to finish and made things happen. He was pleasant and assured he was here to help. I felt that leaving. Both guys were awesome and Im thankful they made my experience a phenomenal one.
Ramsey did a great job. He listened to my needs and found the right car for me. The Staff was very Knowledgable and Friendly. Ramsey followed up after the Sale to make sure I was Satisfied with my Purchase. I am really happy with my car! Will recommend this Dealership to my Friends as well!!!
Everyone at the BMW of Macon dealership is simply awesome. They make every stage of the process (from scheduling to completion of service) a very smooth and easy experience. In addition, I love how the staff continued to keep me updated in a timely manner regarding the status of my vehicle. I am truly blessed to have found a BMW dealership that I love doing good business with! :)
Bought a car online/over the phone. Maybe not my best decision ever, but when the salesman straight up says “no” when I ask if there is a dent or scratch I expect there to be maybe a mild scratch or dent. I did not expect an obvious glaring dent that I can see within 1 minute of looking at it (IN THE DARK). This car was shipped to me on the west coast so I couldn’t return it. Have have had no correspondence from the dealer since telling the salesman (Andrew) about it. If you want a truly honest experience while buying during covid avoid this place. This was remedied by the dealership. They paid for the dent repair and now it looks perfect.
Tyler was the sales associate that helped me. He is a very polite young man, he answered all of my questions and made a deal that I was happy with. The entire staff was great to deal with, they were so accommodating. I work hard for my money and its people like the staff at Macon BMW that make you know that they really appreciate your business.
On Sunday 8/23/20, my 2017 X6 began leaking oil. Normally, I would have called first thing Monday to schedule an appointment. However, my husband and I are moving to Europe and my BMW was scheduled to be shipped 8/26. We drove out to the dealership and were waiting on it to open. Not only did this dealership take care of my Beamer but they did so quickly and professionally. My car was shipped at the scheduled time and my husband and I are extremely thankful!! Thank you, Shelly and Lindsay!
I traded my 2017 BMW 330i for a 2019 X3 and I LOVE IT! I hate buying a car, but somehow or another BMW of Macon will go out of their way to make you keep coming back time and again. Great staff and they make you feel valued before and after the sale. I can honestly say they enjoy being in the car business and working with their customers, and it shows.
Anthony was awesome!! He met us in the evening after work and already had most of our deal ready to go. I love my car. We bought a used BMW 650i convertible and had a minor issue with the top. Macon BMW took care of it and had us on our way in a loaner until the they worked it into the service schedule. Great service and I would recommend them to anyone.
Please save your time and visit another location. This location only seems to care about sales, not the lifetime customer service experience. I purchased my X1 from this location and every time Ive needed service or have an issue the complete process is a nightmare. Most recently my truck was picked up for service and I was given a loaner. Well they decided to sale the loaner while it was in my possession and then decided to come pick it up right away, without notifying me and of course I wasn’t home. A wasted trip and wasted amount of miles added to my vehicle. So they bring back my truck, unwashed and without full service being done because the part isn’t in. It also smelt awful inside! Normally if a part isn’t in they keep your vehicle until it arrives because they already have the vehicle. In this case they should have and provided me with another loaner. However, that didn’t happen, so I will have to go through this whole process all over again once the part arrives. After this incident, and in addition to a host of other bad incidents I will no longer be getting my vehicle serviced by BMW of Macon. With the expense of a BMW and the cost it takes to keep they maintained this location has it all wrong when it comes to service and more importantly customer service. My drive out tag stated that BMW was the ultimate customer service experience, BMW of Macon has proved that to be fictitious. The customer service skills of the service department are far below 2 stars, the two stars given here are only for the deal I got on my truck.
BMW of Macon really hit the nail this time, I arrived at the dealership with the plan of buying a nice used BMW with an affordable cost, and Im currently in love with my 2013 5 series! Incredible customer service, met really amazing people at the dealership, and Im sure I will be back soon to make another purchase. Big thank you to Mike Perez and Tory Thrash!
BMW of Macon is an great dealership and Anthony is a excellent sales advisor. I factory ordered an 530e and the process from start to finish was smooth and trouble free. The dealership even delivered the car to my doorstep all the way to Atlanta at no additional costs.
The customer service here is superb ! I made an appointment , went in & was out in 15 minutes. Ryan was kind, helpful, insightful, and explained everything I needed to know and some. I traveled an hour just because BMW of South Atlanta was rude and I didnt want to do business with them. I would recommend this dealership to everyone ! Even though its a long drive from home, this will definitely be my dealership of choice every time.
I took my convertible to BMW of Macon for an air conditioning issue. The employees in the Service Department were professional, personable and prompt. Sheila Meadows was a joy to work with. I most highly recommend the Macon BMW Service Department for your automobile needs.
Not all the employees represent this evaluation of my experience. 1 star isnt low enough. I cannot testify to the sales’ aspect; however, I can provide a detailed review of their service department. My experience was not exactly ideal. The experience was a plethora of abysmal and deceptive communication on the part of BMW of Macon. My car is over 200k mi and the issues are mounting- I understand that. I bring the car in because it is shuddering during the acceleration phase and I communicated this with them; I needed enough information to make a decision as to how much longer my car could remain serviceable. Should I focus on short-term repairs or look for a new vehicle? Next, I got to play a fascinating game where I could skip the diagnostics’ test fee if I committed to their service team going to town on the car and blindly accepting the ensuing costs. Decisions, decisions…. after the suspense of about 2 seconds, I agreed to the diagnostics’ test. I was told that it was the water pump and that it required changing asap. Okay, now I am thinking that I can authorize this repair and, essentially, purchase a small amount of drivable time with the car. They fix the water pump- car still has the same initial issue. After being led to believe the car’s primary issue would be solved relatively easily, I was less than thrilled to learn that this would not fix the issue. It would have completely changed my decision if they communicated this beforehand. So, after wasting 3 days of work and 10 hours’ worth of round-trip driving, I was informed there were more serious concerns with the car. During the next visit with the service department, they FINALLY asked detailed questions in regards to how the car was driving. As I waited and they continued with testing, they continually denied that my observations were accurate. Then, they have a new mechanic work with the car. He corroborated their claim that I was mistaken in how the car was driving. When I eventually did a test-drive with the mechanic, I could clearly observe why this discrepancy was occurring- he was driving the car in manual instead of automatic and this masked the issues I was describing. Wow- why would I voluntarily drive a BMW in manual?! At this point, I was officially told there would be another $5,000 worth of repairs. Then, the mechanic who tested the car hinted at substantial additional costs, but these weren’t officially added to the service report I was given. No person with a sound mind would have ever initially invested into this money-pit of a now-confirmed dying car. Effective communication could have solved everything from the beginning. It gets better- the experience takes a different spin when we examine the most frustrating element of my ordeal that involved the manager of service and parts. Let’s set the scene for the best part… I was expressing my displeasure with their initial miscommunication earlier today. My 1yr old daughter is with me. She has one of her favorite toys from Paw Patrol. The service manager offered to run a 3rd test for free. He acted as if he was performing an act of justice. This would have been an altruistic gesture if it wasn’t the THIRD test. After expressing his belief that we should be grateful for having them install the water pump (at 3x the cost of the part), the manager handed a BMW bear to my daughter and said to her, “How about an upgrade?” in regards to her toy. That was the icing on the cake and an accurate summarization of this experience. In retrospect, I refuse to accept their answers for several questions: why did it take 3 trips encompassing 10 hours’ worth of my driving to the BMW of Macon, $1300, and a wide variety of service reports only to hear from the mechanic that I should just expect to drive it in manual from this point forward? Why couldn’t someone communicate this to me during their initial evaluation? I feel helpless. Despite all of the negativity, we did manage to rescue a bear today.
John was professional but so much more: he was friendly, easy to communicate with and honest in every conversation. We understood we were in a financial transaction but the outcome worked for us and I hope it did so for John and BMW of Macon. We look forward to doing business with all the good folks at BMW of Macon in the future. Thanks
I had an excellent experience purchasing my car from this dealership. The sales team was very responsive and answered all of my questions throughout the entire process. They literally rolled out the red carpet for me when my car arrived. Will definitely work with them again!!
I bought a $42,000 vette. We questioned the sales person about the tires looking quite worn.He told us they just put two new tires on it. I wandered why two and not four. Drove home. The ride was not smooth. Got home and had the tires look at. The front two are dated 2019 and the back two are dated 2014 and dry cracks in it.So, after spending all that money on the car, now I have to pay for a set of tires that are very expensive. I would think a big dealership would have told the truth and/or put new tires on a car like that.
I recently purchased a BMW from this dealership and I wanted to tell everyone about my experience with the salesperson there. My salesman was Jason Stuart and he was very knowledgeable about the vehicles there and the different features that each model had versus another. I had some issues after I started driving the car and I reached out to Jason and he assured me that everything would be OK. I had a great experience with this dealership from everyone there from management to the service techs and I would just like to say that I would buy another vehicle from them and I trust their professional opinions that they give to their customers. Jason thank you so much for what you do and everything you have done for me the customer.
We saw the car on line at this dealership which is 100 miles from where we live. The sales person took real time pictures of the vehicle and sent it to me. We bought the vehicle based on the pictures and real time description of the sales person. We picked it up two days later and were absolutely delighted that it was exactly as shared over the phone. The service of the staff was very courteous and yet personable. The Geek they have did an excellent job educating us on the digital functions of the vehicle. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a vehicle.
BMW of Macon provides top-notch service. Their team of service professionals provided the maintenance I requested and repaired a problem I was not aware of. They always keep the customer in mind by calling me before any work is initiated. And, they let me know as soon as the work is complete. The Service Team is helpful, friendly and courteous. I Appreciate the work they do to keep my 2011 BMW running smoothly.
Worked with Omar Saleh at BMW of Macon to purchase my 2011 F-150. He searched through the entire dealer network showing me multiple options. He found the perfect truck for me and had it driven to Macon for a test drive. We made the deal and trade within minutes. No long waits or mountains of paper work.If youre in the market for a new vehicle I would high suggest getting with Omar or any of the staff at BMW of Macon. You will have great experience and get the exact vehicle you are looking for.
My husband and I bought a 2017 Kia Sorento from BMW of Macon this past Saturday. We had already been given the runaround at another dealership that morning (for 3 hours), so we were about ready to give up and go home. After going to BMW of Macon, we could finally take a breath and enjoy the car buying process.Jeremiah was our sales associate, and he was so friendly and informative. The facility was clean and chic. We were there a long time, as expected while buying a car, and he made sure we were always hydrated and entertained! We test drove two vehicles, and went with the Kia Sorento. While we finalized everything, they had it washed and filled up with gas. After everything was said and done and I was sitting in the car hooking up my phone, he still checked on me in the parking lot to see if I had any questions! The GM also made a point to thank us and make sure we had a good experience, which was great! When you go here to buy your next car, ask for Jeremiah for sure!
My company was searching for a used work truck in the F-450 to F-550 range in order to move equipment. I easily found the truck we ended up purchasing online. I went down met the salesman and his manger and looked the truck over. We test drove the truck and after I was satisfied it was what my company wanted we talked over pricing. The experience was painless and pleasant and I have absolutely no complaints.
We had to have our 2007 and 2011 328i BMWs serviced at Macon BMW due to recalls on both of the vehicles. They worked with us to get them both in back to back which made our trips to Macon less of a hassle! The girls in the service department were very friendly and helpful! Made the whole experience much better than at some other dealerships we have come in contact with. The cars were working perfectly upon pickup and we couldnt be happier! Will definitely be going back to Macon BMW if we have any problems in the future!
I had a horrible experience at this dealership. I found a car on their site for a good price, called their salesman Micah to confirm it was available and made an appointment to test drive. After renting a car and driving over 100 miles to get there, Micah told me it was no longer available, even though I confirmed its availability literally the night before. The car is STILL listed online (its been a week since I went). Pretty sure theyre posting false advertisements on CarGurus and other sites in order to get people to the dealership. Be warned. On top of that, Micah was very standoffish from the moment we met and seemed wholly uninterested in selling us any cars or even speaking to us. My BF and I decided to test drive another similar car since we didn’t want to make the trip a waste. Micah explained absolutely nothing, asked us nothing about our needs and was dead silent during the extremely awkward test drive. We didn’t even go back into the dealership after the test drive because he abruptly let us go and left. I have never had such a terrible and perplexing experience with a salesman in my life.
Giving it one star is far too generous. A negative star is more appropriate. My wife and I went in this afternoon very eager to purchase a BMW 430i. Wed done our research, had been approved for financing at great rate at two other dealers (different cars). So the day starts with looking a great 430i convertible. The salesmen assured of multiple discounts. Needless to say none materialized. We should have walked out then. But no were apparently gluttons for punishment. So we found a 2018 430i grand coupe--beautiful vehicle--small haggle over what our monthly payments should be. After being unable to reach a deal, we walked out. The sales manager (Vanessa?) came out after us and told us look at what I got you. It was a great deal at 5% interest, we loved it. We all shook hands and the beautiful coupe went to detail. We thought the deal was done--oh, how wrong we were!Thirty minutes later a very rude financial manager, Michael Perez, informed us we had a blemish on our credit. Which the early sales manager knew about. Suddenly our deal looked bleak. After sitting there for another 30 minutes, the salesman was sent out to pull us quietly into his office only to inform us that the original deal was not going to happen and they were currently calling another bank but we were looking at 20% APR. Needless to say, we promptly walked up to the bullpit took the keys to our car that were had planned to trade and walked out!I have never experienced such horrible customer service in all my life. I most certainly will never recommend this dealership.Basically three hours wasted at a dealership that does not value customer service and frankly Mike Perez should be fired since he obviously has no working knowledge of the finance business and how to deal with banks.
I brought my BMW X6 in for an airbag recall and for diagnosis of a problem with the top-view camera system. The service representative told me when I made the reservation that these tasks would take more than a day and that they would set me up with a loaner car. They were ready for me when I showed up for the appointment and had me in the loaner car within a couple of minutes. Over the next two days they did an excellent job of keeping me informed. When time came to pick up the X6, it was clean and waiting for me. Return of the loaner car and finishing paperwork on my car again looks just a couple of minute. New airbags installed and top-view camera system fixed. This could not have been a better experience. This experience was exceptional but it is what I have come to expect from this dealers service department. The X6 is my second BMW. My first BMW was a Z4. My experience with the excellent work performed by this service department in taking care of my Z4 was a large part of my decision to purchase another BMW.
As always BMW of Macon never seize to amaze me. They always make my experience there the most comfortable and enjoyable. James Hunt and Mr. Scott and ALL the staff at BMW are always very pleasant and do their very best to make the deal work for you! I am 24 years old and will forever be a customer here at BMW of Macon. I mean who wouldnt want to have the ultimate driving experience and ultimate buying experience.
I have followed my salesman, Curtis Harris, from the Atlanta market to the Macon location. He always finds me exactly what I want (and even gives me a few extra choices to make sure I’m making the right decision). The entire purchasing process was seamless - less than an hour from the time I arrived at the dealership to the time I drove off in my new car. Definitely 5-star service!!
Awesome place to shop for all. I am not in the league of buying a BMW but this dealership made my dream come true. I went to buy a car but it was sold before I got there. Didnt matter because Anthony took the time to deal with me and my attitude (since the car was gone). He checked the inventory and called me back for a better car than what I went for. The deal was painless and I was overjoyed. Shopping for cars can be a headache but Anthony took the time and showed compassion, professionalism, and a true concern to meet my needs and concern. If you are looking for a car contact Anthony. He will definitely take care of you and your budget.
I was referred to go to BMW of Macon from a co-worker of mine who recently had a pleasant experience there and I am so glad my husband and I stopped in. Since the very beginning everything was wonderful! Vanessa was who helped us and I couldnt have been more happy with her. She was just simply genuine. She took her time, and listened to what I wanted. Actually, everyone we spoke with was great. I definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a car to go and speak with them.
BMW of Macon gave me the best car shopping experience. My fiancé and I went there to window shop and ended up purchasing a vehicle. Our salesman, Dustin Hill, was the best. He was very friendly, very professional, and very knowledgeable. He made things easy for us. Thanks Dustin and BMW of Macon!
Just moved to Macon, and scheduled an oil change at my local BMW dealership. Unfortunately I wasn’t greeted when I arrived, and the young lady who checked me in was neither friendly nor helpful. She looked up my service record and quoted well over $1000 for the oil change and regular service. The oil change itself was over $200 if I recall. I expected to to pay for my service since this isn’t the dealership I bought my car from (everything is free there), but I was shocked at their prices. My car is running perfectly, so I declined the service and left. If the staff had been friendly and offered explanations and options, it probably would have helped offset the sticker shock, but after this experience I’d rather just travel to Atlanta. I’ll probably buy my next car in Atlanta too.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!I must admit that while I always refer to reviews, I am seldom impressed enough to take the time to write one. However, Jason Stewart definitely deserves the effort. He has been absolutely wonderful; I do not have a single complaint. He is professional, timely and honest. This has been the best experience I have had with BMW, or any other luxury dealer. Whether or not I continue to live in Georgia, I hope to always get my BMWs from Jason.I highly recommend Jason if you are looking for an honest, and knowledge BMW salesperson. He will not try to uncharge you or take advantage in any way.Overall, this has been a 10 star experience; he takes care of everything, so I just have to worry about driving my new convertible. I am beyond satisfied with his service!
BMW of Macon made this one of the best car buying experiences we have ever had. Vanessa and Tory were great!Prior to going to the dealership, I was able to establish communications with Vanessa about the vehicle I was interested in and sent her a text when we were about 10 mins out. Upon arrival, they were pulling the car off of the showroom floor and Tory was ready to take us on a test drive. When we decided to make the purchase, the process was quick and simple. We were on our way back home within about 2hrs, which about 30 mins of that was random conversation.UPDATE:Since purchasing the vehicle, the level of service has decreased significantly! When the vehicle was purchased, the dealer informed us that since we were Military, they could title and register the vehicle in Texas for us. A few weeks later I followed up with the Bexar County Tax Assessors office and received an email stating the documentation the dealer sent was incomplete. I forwarded the message to the individual at BMW of Macon I had been corresponding with and received no response. Instead of waiting for a response, I completed the required paperwork and sent it to Texas.I received a message earlier this week informing me that my temp tags from Texas are on the way and should arrive any day. However, they will probably not arrive before the GA temp tags expire (6 June 2019). I sent a message to the same individual explaining this and also asked if it is possible to have the GA temp tags extended for a week, I still have not received a response. I guess I will have to go back to the dealership to get an answer.
Actually the best customer service Ive ever had! Yassaar Abdul was incredible help with such a positive attitude throughout the whole process! Looking for a luxury? BMW of Macon is where you go to get one, the best customer service you could ever experience. Can I give 6 stars???
I hate dealing with car salespeople for the most part and this was the first time I had a totally comfortable experience in buying a car. James Landers, the salesman listened to what I wanted and pointed me in the direction of cars I would be interested in, leading up to me test driving the perfect sweet little BMW for me. Financing was easy and made for a very pleasant experience overall. They even followed up with me the next day to make sure I was happy with my new baby (yes, VERY happy).
Wow. Ed and his crew are awesome. I got lucky and found my new/used 2019 Camaro ZL1 convertible online. Only one like it of 43 in the nation. We worked out the deal over the phone and they brought me the car 200 miles away for free. Thanks guys. Never bought a car at a Dollar General 🤣
First visit after purchase of a BMW, issue with sunroof and it did not look very promising to have an easy and cost friendly sollution. However after discussing the situation with Lindsay, my technical advisor it was decided to return at a later date to replace seal. In addition the diagnostic fee was waved. This was an amazig experience and I will return for the sunroof seal replacement at a later day. Thanks Lindsay and staff for this great experience, you have just gained a customer for life and one who will promote your dealership to friends and family.
Had a great experience buying my vehicle but that was mostly in part of Ramsey. I live 2hrs away so we communicated over the text the whole time which was preferred. He sent me all the pictures I requested and was extremely professional. He answered every single question I asked...with PATIENCE! I am deeply grateful for Ramsey.
Outstanding service....4 star. Exceptional wait/lounge area while you wait on your vehicle service needs. Free complimentary soda, water, snacks as well as plush seating area. However.......in my two trips for vehicle service on my wifes BMW Ive averaged $1,200 per visit!!! Good for me I can afford the note and the service.....at least I can for now...lol
Ramsey Belmany was the embodiment of what any car sales professional should strive to be. He was courteous and genuine. He treated us as though we were the only people at the dealership and engaged with not only myself and my wife, but also with our 12 year old son as if we were close friends from the beginning. Keep up the good work sir! And this is coming from someone that has purchased over 20 vehicles and dreads the process.
Purchased a new 2015 M235 from BMW of Macon last year. Contacted service about a problem with the air conditioner and I am being told by Tony in service to take my car (which is still under warranty ) elsewhere for service.I am told by BMW North America that they are a franchise dealership and can refuse to service the cars they sell.SO BE AWARE THAT IF YOUR CAR HAS ANY PROBLEM, EVEN UNDER WARRANTY, THEY CAN AND HAVE REFUSED TO WORK ON CARS THEY HAVE SOLDSo I guess Im driving to Atlanta BMW for service till the free maintenance (which isnt really free, your paying for it in the price of the car ) runs out. Then Im taking it to the nice German couple downtown that actually know what they are doing. They charge a third of what the dealership charges.ON THE SUBJECT OF SALESFrom my experience with purchases from Global imports in Atlanta , I would rate the sales experience at BMW of Macon second rate at best. I knew more about the car than the sales guy did. He didnt even know the tires on this model werent run flat tires. After taking delivery I pointed out that the cup holder accessory inserts were missing. I called back a week later to see if they found them or were going to send them in the mail.I was quickly told he would check on it. Still waiting on that phone call. They didnt setup the cars service diagnostic feature correctly. The data goes to a dealership in Atlanta, because that dealership actually calls me.The selection at the Macon dealership is very limited and the front of the lot appears to be a lot of preowned and off lease trade ins. Prices seem to much higher than the Atlanta area which is less than an hour away.Ive been tempted to give up on BMW after four cars but Ive realized its just this dealership and service that are awful.
This by far has been of the worst dealerships Ive been to. I came to look at car and one of the sales man or service person was just rude from beginning to the end which just made me disgusted with the whole dealership. I would have purchased a car from them If the customer service was not so awful. You be better off spending your hard earned money at the Lexus or Mercedes Benz dealership nearby where its better customer service and better quality cars. And no Bmw representative, I do not need your response to my post. If you worked on your customer service you would not have poor reviews.
Every experience I have ever had with Butler has been the worst, that is until recently. I will have to say that they have totally changed my mind about their sales and service. I recently purchased a CPO 5 series and was treated very well. Tommy in finance was super great. He helped me get the right finance options for my beautiful new car. Even the service department and the sales team has bent over backwards to make sure everything was right with my new car.I would say that they really do offer the ultimate customer experience.
I bought a 2013 328i. I love my car. Had to take it to bmw of macco . They treated me realy nice. I wish that if there is a known issues with BMWs I wish they would advise the customers. But other then that great people and the service is great. Advise to other . Save money learn about you car.
I have bought many cars in my lifetime, more than Id like to admit, and I have never had a better experience than the ones Ive had with my salesperson Brian Sumption and the Butler Dealerships. Yesterday, I sent my brother to see them after I had had a wonderful experience purchasing my car just over a year ago, and now I am very pleased that he had the same experience and has left with a car from them as well. Brian has been excellent, takes the time to answer your questions and built a great relationship, which is rare to find in a salesperson at a dealership. Everyone we dealt with at the dealership each time has been very helpful, friendly, were very informative and not overly pushy. They didnt pull any punches and were straightforward with everything. I know my brother and myself we can have a lot of questions but they were very patient and took time to answer every one we had. Im not even quick to jump on a purchase but even when I bought mine I talked to Brian for 2 months before I finally made a purchase and he was patient with me through the whole thing. My brother walked away telling me the same thing that I said when I purchased my car, it was the best car buying experience he had ever had. The dealership is 2 hours away from where my brother lives in the Atlanta area, and although I have a home in GA with my main residence in FL it is about 6 hours from me, and I tell you I would make the drive again any day as we have had nothing but great experiences with them. When you get that good of service and someone who treats you right a drive is nothing. Ill tell you what Ive told my friends here and in GA if you are looking for a vehicle make sure you look with the Butler Dealerships like BMW of Macon and Brian Sumption, as the next time I need a car you can believe he is the first person I will call.
This is the BEST place to buy a car, I got my used 2011 Mini Cooper Convertible here in February. The salesman, Phil Dean, took me out for a test drive and wasnt pushy about the sale. He was very friendly and pointed out all the great aspects of the car, he really knows his way around the cars! Next time I get a new car, Ill be coming back here!
I have purchased 4 BMWs from BMW of Macon, and I wouldnt go anywhere else. Omar Saleh is an outstanding salesman and provides top notch customer service. I just purchased a BMW X5 from Omar, and didnt even consider purchasing from any other dealer, even after moving from Georgia over two years ago. Best dealer, best sales, best service, hands down.
We recently purchased a 2017 Honda Accord from this BMW dealer. Tory is the most personable sales person we encountered during our recent search (through many car lots) and definitely played into our decision to chose that car over others elsewhere. And while we werent purchasing a super expensive car, he treated us the same. Tory is the best! (cant say the same for the Finance guy tho. Extremely rude once he found out we werent interested in financing. Seemed bothered to be filling out our paperwork. Since he was the last person that we spoke to on this deal, it almost leaves a bad taste in my mouth. i deducted a star just because of him) But again, Tory was Great! and he alone deserves 5 stars!
I bought a used vehicle from Anthony Lotardo. The whole experience was great. I drove several different cars before deciding. Anthony was helpful and was more knowledgable about cars of all brands than anyone I have met in my life. My finance experience was pretty quick as well. The folks at Butler are really nice people, which is a rarity in the car buying world.
From the minute you drive in the service area, there are at least two people to greet you -- thank you, Liz -- and they handle everything from there. The waiting area is super nice. A driver took me over to the shopping center. Called for a pickup; they were right there. Just a great experience!!
The service department staff was extremely friendly, courteous and provided excellent service. A negative note: They did not re-attach the passenger side light fixture securely which detached and and whipped in the wind while I drive down the highway. The fixture slammed against the side of the car leaving black marks. They need to verify all parts are secure.
We recently purchased a new BMW from Omar Saleh at BMW of Macon. This is now our second purchase from BMW of Macon and Omar. Omar immediately provided a price we were comfortable with, but more importantly provided a level of service and responsiveness throughout the process that all car dealerships should provide. He made the buying process so simple and hassle free, which we find rare in car buying. He answered our emails promptly at all hours of the night and more importantly accurately answered all of our questions, and never tried to up sell or push an unwanted service during the buying process. He was respectful of our budget and recommended we take BMW Performance Center Delivery in Spartanburg S.C. at the BMW production plant. What an amazing experience! PCD is an memory my wife and I will never forget and made the delivery of the vehicle a vacation, rather than a typical delivery of a vehicle. We would recommend to anyone interested. In summary, we highly recommend Omar Saleh and BMW of Macon if you are interested in purchasing a BMW, we could not have done better.
My husband and I were having our x3 serviced at BMW of Macon. I was really drawn to the white 230i convertible with red interior in the showroom. While in the waiting area, Fabian Blake spoke to us. After a little small talk, he gave us card. That was on a Friday. I called Fabian on the following Tuesday and expressed my interest in trading my x3 in on the new 230i convertible. Long story short, Fabian took good care of us. I am now the owner of the white x230i convertible with red interior. Thanks to my husband, Paul Salter and to Fabian Blake. Did I say that its fully loaded. It does EVERYTHING; park assist, you name it. I also got the black leather BMW tote for my laptop :).This was a very pleasant experience. Thanks Fabian and BMW of Macon. #FABIANBLAKEISAROCKSTAR
Extremely friendly & accommodating staff, but they should be when they charged a 100%+ markup on parts (charged me $800 for a water pump that should be $400 max) and $400 PER HOUR to install it (literally billed be $800 for 2 HOURS of labor!). I was stranded & alone 4 hrs from home on a Saturday. They saw the opportunity to take advantage of me and boy did they ever.My BMW mechanic at home, who I trust very much, was completely appalled at how horribly I was price gauged! Next time (hopefully there isnt!) I will pay to tow it 4hrs home and save myself AT LEAST $1000 in over-charges....
As a female, first-time buyer, I would encourage anyone purchasing a vehicle to visit or contact BMW of Macon. The team at BMW of Macon (specifically Ed Giannasca) made my experience about as easy as it could be. Initially I wasnt sure what vehicle I was looking for and Ed was incredibly enthusiastic and patient as he helped start that process for me. He even watched my dog in the showroom while I test drove! When I found a BMW that I liked a few weeks later at another dealership, I contacted Ed, and he had an even better vehicle, with more features, at a better price the very next day!Anytime that I texted or called, Ed was there to answer in a professional, caring manner. Once all of the paperwork was finalized, they even delivered my vehicle to my front door (in north Florida!) for no additional charge! I can not thank this team enough for everything that they did and I cannot recommend them enough. I know when it comes time for me to purchase a new vehicle, they will be my first call.
BMW of Macon ----The absolute best car buying experience I have ever had. James is the best!!!! Very caring, understanding, great follow up, always stays in contact with me but not to the point of being a pest. I will go to James again at BMW for my next purchase. Everyone at BMW of Macon are the best of the best!!!
***Buyer Beware*** The vehicles on this lot are severely overpriced. I purchased a certified preowned 2012 BMW 528i in 2016 from this dealer and have now learned after an responding to an offer from my credit union to refinance that I am so upside down in my loan that even with GAP coverage it cant be refinanced. No, I dont have bad credit and I actually got a decent rate from BMW Auto Finance. No, I wasnt severely upside down in my trade, they only tacked 888.00 on to this loan.I didnt know at the time, but this vehicle was priced $6,000 above NADA. I am not new to car buying and thought I was pretty knowledgeable about the car buying process. I have purchased 4 cars from Five Star and have had a stellar experience every time. We negotiated the price down with the finance guy but didnt close that day. We came back the following day after deciding to make the purchase and was told by finance guy that the deal we negotiated the previous day was only good for that day and off the table. I regret the day that I ever stepped foot on that lot. I know that you will likely always be a little upside down because of depreciation, but I feel violated and taken advantage of. Butler owns every dealership in North Macon, making plenty of money I am sure. Why take advantage of hard working people trying to have something? I plan to file a complaint with the BBB and every social media page for this company. Its a shame that 1 sale would be more important that gaining the business of what could have been a loyal customer.***update***So I gave this company a less than raving review on 4/20 for price gauging and filed a BBB complaint. Today I received a package from them containing this beat up old key fob programmed to my car. I am not sure what to make of this because I purchased my vehicle Nov. 2016 with 2 new keys. Is this some sort of joke or a threat? Why am receiving this over a year after I purchased this car? Either way please do not send anything else to my home and if you want to communicate something to me, be a man and do it in person.***Update***I called Omar and left a message. My call has yet to be returned.
Service department is horrible. They will not return your calls or answer even the simplest questions about your BMW because they do not know the answers. I even contacted BMWUSA about this and BMW of Macon still hasnt reached out to me.Servicing your vehicle is a large part of ownership. Before purchasing a BMW in middle Georgia, take this into consideration if you plan on servicing your vehicle at BMW of Macon.
My NAV system reset and became non-functioning. When I called the dealership they said it would be a week minimum before they had a rental available. When I expressed my disappointment they said let us work on it. They called me back a little while later and arranged to drop a loaner off to me and pick up my vehicle until it was fixed. They fixed it in two business days and returned it to me at work. Amazing customer service!!
My overall experience at BMW of Macon was awesome. Vanessa was wonderful from start to finish. I didnt feel pressured by her at all. She took my information months ago and respected the fact that I didnt want to pursue until August. She learned my personality in the short time we met and she found the perfect vehicle for me. It was a great pleasure to receive such great customer service and professionalism from the entire staff. I even experienced a tragic loss on the day my deal was processed and Vanessa continued to reach out to send condolences to my family and I. I would like to thank you guys again for making my 40th Birthday Grande!
I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned BMW 135i (2011). It was towards the end of the warranty period so I had it reinspected within two weeks of purchase at another local BMW dealership. It had two issues that were covered by the warranty and while I had to call Macon a couple things they did right by the warranty and covered everything. Overall I was very satisfied.
I highly recommend Jason Stewart at BMW of Macon. I have purchased two vehicles from him, and he will continue to be my preferred car buying agent for life. Jason Stewart is professional, straightforward, and makes the car buying process stress-free. I suggest everyone ask for Jason Stewart by name.:)
Called about vehicles and never got a call back. Finally drove over an hour to Macon and the customer service was horrible. Anthony helped me and I use the word help lightly. Told him my price range, which I actually could afford to higher on and he didn’t really show me much. I had to ask a million questions and he responded with inadequate descriptions and three to five words if generously describing. He barely told me about the car I wanted to know about and kept checking messages and answering phone calls during the test drive. Obviously they don’t need business if customer service and salesmen don’t feel the need to SALE the car to you. So I’ll be taking my money elsewhere to someone that appreciates my business
I have recently used BMW of Macon service department for both my warrantied BMW and my Wifes Mini Cooper JCW and i have to say i have received Outstanding service from both Ryan from a Customer Service Standpoint and Paolo, who was the technician who worked on my car. Even though the Mini was not a BMW nor under BMW warranty, they gladly worked on it and was pretty reasonable. I will be using them in the future and requesting both guys by name again. It seems BMW of Macon Service Department has been working on its image to help customers (as any good business should) and they have earned my repeat business.
I was delivered a car with a warning light on. The car had the wrong tires. It lacked the LSD that I requested and was told that came with it. Most interestingly, they kept my deposit and failed to refund it after purchase or apply it to purchase until I got it during my audit and called about it. That was three months later. They claimed clerical error. Since, I have had two warning lights go off in the car; one being a low oil light on a car with just 4000 miles. These are the best things I can say. The behavior of the salespeople in the showroom was almost fraternity like when trying to get a sales; screaming get the deposit while the customer was on mute. I have never complained about a car purchase in my life. This is my 7th BMW. The dealership was bought several years ago and the old guard is no longer there. They are replaced my men who are hungry for only your money and not your satisfaction. I love BMW. However, if BMW of Macon was the only place in the world that sold them, I would drive a Kia. I have had to consult and attorney due to the response I got from this dealership. The greatest kicker is I bought a car that cost $53,000. After numerous problems with the car, they tell me they will on trade it for $34,000. I had no ideas that BMW depreciated $19,000 or 36% in less that a month. They do at this dealership. Go to another BMW dealership and save yourself the trouble. The only bright light at this dealership is their Genius. He is a nice man as is the service tech. As for the front of the store, they need to be selling used cars in polyester suits.
Jason Stewart is a fantastic Sales Agent... He has help me on all my need when purchasing my Mini even from a far. He has kept me up to date on all info i asked and is very prompted to respond to calls and text messages!! Thank you very much Jason for your hard work and patience with me!
Very, very, nice and clean parking lot. Just walking around looking at all those luxury cars made me very happy, knowing that I would soon be ready to buy another one. Customer Service is very friendly and care about really helping and pleasing the customer. I was very pleased with my experience with them.
We were looking for a weekend car and found one that we liked at BMW of Macon. I drove from Lake Junaluska, NC to check out a 2010 Lexus I250C.I called when I was about an hour away and spoke with Anthony Lotardo. Anthony had the car pulled up front and appeared to have been sprayed off and ready for a test drive. He came out and treated us like family. Within a couple of hours we were driving away with the car of my wifes dreams. Everyone at the dealership was fantastic, even the tech guys came out and set up our mobile devices before we left. First rate service from everyone!
I Had an issue driving from Florida to Indiana. They were superb at helping me out. They got me in right away in an emergency situation. Then they were prompt in finding the issue and getting me on my way. When they said I didnt owe them anything I was floored. After all my problems they were the bright spot. Thank you so much!
Where should I start.BMW of Macon was the worst buying experience my husband and I have ever had. We purchased a 2006 Jaquar S-Type, and before the first car note the engine light came on. We contacted the dealership and spoke with the General Sales Manager and was told that the vehicle is 10 years old and these things can happen. He suggested I take it to a Jaquar dealership because they dont work on Jaquars. How can a dealership sell cars they cant repair. We had to come back three times before we could pick up this car for reasons: 2 bad tires (passenger side),cap off anti-freeze holder, air bag light sensor to be replaced. Also, they charge my bank close to $30.00 over what the car was sold for. They told me they would mail me a check for the difference, and that was January 2016 and Ive called about this but I nor my bank has seen this. Ive paid over $2,000 in repairs. If I help one person with this review it will be a blessing. I will never buy a new/old vehicle from here again.
I visited this dealer this past week, and I have never been so disrespected in my entire life. From the moment I entered this establishment, I was ignored. I had to show myself around the entire dealership because no sales people approached me, and when I made eye contact with them they would simply look away and continue about their business instead of seeing if I needed assistance. When I walked in the door, the woman who normally greets you just looked up and looked away making no effort to greet us, ask us what we needed or make us feel comfortable in the dealership. It was only after I mentioned the abominable service that they tried to come back and correct what shouldve been right in the first place. Upon appraising me, it seems that these people wrote me off as someone who could not possibly afford a BMW and so therefore not worth their time. As someone who was looking for my next luxury vehicle, I can acertain that it will not be a BMW or atleast not one from this Macon dealership.
Don’t go here. Paid a lot for replacing a battery and an oil change. Ask them to reset the error from the old battery and they want $160 to do a “diagnostic” we don’t need. Crooks. Hey BMW Macon, when people pay you hundreds of dollars, show some customer service, not just always trying to make an extra buck. Y’all lost my business forever.
Extremely unprofessional and willing to lie to get you to come in. I spoke to Phil Dean about a car and decided to drive 5 and a half hours to look at it. They sold it before we got there, never bothering to call and let us know nor did they ever tell us we needed to put down a deposit. Phil said it would be there when we got there. He walked right by us twice when we arrived and never said a word to us or apologized, just completely ignored us even tho he is who we asked to see and had an appointment with. The sales manager did tell us that the paint was peeling on the hood so we probably wouldnt have wanted it anyway, something Phil failed to mention when I asked him if anything was wrong with it. They put us in a few other cars out of our price range, one of which hesitated to accelerate when I pulled out into traffic. I told the sales guy we were dealing with and he didnt say much. They obviously didnt car about that BLATANT SAFETY ISSUE because about 15 minutes later someone else was test driving it. Completely terrible experience, if you ever decide to go there please think twice before you deal with the very unprofessional liar, Phil Dean, who will lie about the condition of a car and let you drive 350 miles as well as sell it before you arrive and not call to tell you. We ended up purchasing an 08 535i from Tony Lopez at IQ autos in Marietta, which was a great experience and a great purchase.
After buying so many BMWs over the course of 20+ years I was actually in shock as to how my wife and I were treated while buying one of the most expensive BMWs that is made a 750 I I watched several customers receive things for cars that were valued in the 30,000 range, where we were sat in an office for close to four hours and we were purchasing a $90 thousand dollar car. Im kind of in shock still as to how we were pushed to the side. I even watched our sales person start taking care of another customer while our deal was still pending, in fact he had to run after us as we were pulling out with our car , because he forgot to put the temporary tag on it because he was so busy doing other things versus paying attention to our deal. I still believe four hours is absurd to sit in the dealership to buy one of the most expensive cars Bmw makes. When we got the car home we did discover a major gouge in the front wheel of the car I called and spoke to the sales person he said he would have to get in touch with the wheel guy, I do not want the wheel fixed I want a new wheel on a new car. should I have inspected the car better I guess so but in my defense it was a new car.I will state we did get a very good deal on the car, it was the treatment of the sales person, the time it took to buy the car and maybe Im being petty but at the same token I watched people who were buying 30 to 40,000 vehicles receive new keychains receive hats receive a hat, shirt even a young lady received a purse. my wife and I received the car thats all, I would still recommend the dealership but at the same token I would recommend reviewing the car you are buying with a fine tooth comb whether they say its new or not, you need to go over the car and make sure your sales person is being Attentive to your needs instead of that of another customer while your deal hasnt even been completed.
I came here a few months ago to buy a car to surprise my wife, talked to Anthony for couple days then when I finally got there Anthony made the whole process rather quick and pleasant. Nonetheless I left there in a new car, wife was surprised and happy with it. Ill definitely come back and get one for myself now.
I really appreciate Anthony Lotardo. I spoke with him at 10am about the vehicle I was interested in. At 11am he recommended one to me. At 5:30pm I was closing on my purchase. He assist me thru the whole process. I love the friendly environment at BMW Macon. Anthony and Tommy professionalism has left a lasting impression on me. Thanks you!
My car was disabled because of a recall visit of about 2 yrs ago... my car sat in their lot for over a month waiting on the recall part and when I picked up the car my battery was dead... my car was driving perfectly fine when I dropped off, so they told me that I needed a new battery... so the service guy gave me the option of buying a new battery at BMW or I can buy my own... so I went to autozone like always and got me a battery and installed it myself. Even with the new battery installed my car wouldn’t start at day 3 of having the new battery... went to complain and they told me that whatever they did during the recall had nothing to do with the car battery...just a coincidence. So today nearly 2 years after I realized that my phone Bluetooth was still connected to my car after I turned the car off and locked the car... my car was always on so that’s why the battery was getting drained... with that theory I told the new service guy since the original guy that told me tuff luck was no longer there and also the Mgr that told me tuff luck also doesn’t work there anymore... this new service guy tells me... well, maybe because the battery wasn’t registered to the car might be why I was having battery issues... so I mentioned that 2 year ago guy never told me that otherwise I wouldn’t have purchased a battery from 3rd party... so now I spent $500 to “diagnose the issue” and install an now battery. Now the car drives so far for the past 4 days with no issues... amazing... 2 yrs of jumping the car and I was not giving the right info. No wonder why the 2 yr ago guy isn’t there anymore
I loved it so much! The sales manager (Jason Diaz) was nothing but helpful! I dont live in the state and he made sure to take me by his wing and cater to my needs as a customer. Super patient and made this process nothing but smooth sailing! He made sure to focus on what I WANTED.( which says a lot) Would totally recommend this dealership and sales rep with my eyes closed. : ))
Hello, my wife and I just left the dealership about an hour ago and both of us were very impressed with the service and professionalism. We are on a trip and started to have some issues with our bmw. I phoned the dealership as we were driving on the interstate to see if they could possibly work us in today. They said come on by n we will work you in. We arrived around 2pm and they were able to take the car right back to look into the issues. As we waited the waiting area was very nice and accommodating. They were able to get the cars issues fixed and us back on the road in just a few hours. I wish I got this kind of service from my home town cadillac dealership. Thank you macon bmw.
Staff are courteous and friendly. Taken vehicle in often, but this time felt got shafted with the price charged under circumstances presented to the staff. Theres always an expectation of having to pay more than if taken elsewhere but come on .. It seems theres no consideration or concern for consistent patronage to your service center.
The sales team/ sales wasnt eager to greet African Americans, the parts department was nice, friendly and knowledgeable.Maybe it was the clothes we wore, we just came from work. At the end of the day we all deserve to be treated with the same attitude as everyone else. We all are apart of the human race. We all blead for the same cause. And money is money. Its 2019 let the past go.
Great experience buying a 2011 BMW X3. I found the ad on the web and called the Internet Sales rep Curtis. Everything was exactly as described in the ad. The X3 had all the equipment it was supposed to have and they didnt try to pull a fast one on me once I got there. I was in and out in an hour and a half!
Worst experience ever. I drove a little over 2 hours to buy a car when the out the door price was agreed on in emails. Then they decided not to agree on that price and the financial manager was beyond rude about it, he said he rather sell it an auction then deal with me. I guess customer service is not one their strong points. Dont waste your time here.
Well my daughter had her car towed after her car wouldnt start. This was on a Friday. She was told that they had two cars ahead of her car. They didnt even bother to call her about her car. The service agnt told her that her car was going to be look at that day. They didnt even bother to call her efore they closed. She went all weekend without a vehicle. She request a full diagnostic. When she went to see her car on Monday. The car was sill sitting in the same spot in the parking area. Not only that she was charged over $160 for just a battery/ stater check not a full diagnostic check. Beware of the high over charges at this dealership and the lack of communication. We wil not be doing business at this dealership. Do your homework before you go there.

2022-07-08This dealership is the best I have ever worked with. I purchased my 3rd BMW and I was in and out. I told them exactly what I wanted, they had it on the lot, polished it up, went down to test drive it and was out with my new car in less than 2 hours. All of the Staff are very professional and understand how important your time is. This is the only dealership I will ever go to.

2022-06-21We cannot recommend BMW of Macon enough! We purchased our BMWX5 from Nadia there some time ago. We recently had an emergency when our flatless tire was damaged. A high stress situation with a relative needing to catch a flight, and a few medical issues did not help the situation. Nadia immediately answered my call and arranged our service and a loaner car and we were on our way. Never have I seen a more customer service oriented person with such an empathetic and kind heart with her customers all while maintaining a professional and business oriented goal. The Service Department was so helpful as well. They took care of our needs and advised us from a safety standpoint as well. Our tires were ordered and replaced in record time! If you are in the market for a new automobile, contact Nadia at BMW of Macon and their Service Department. You will never find better service. THANK YOU NADIA AND SERVICE DEPARTMENT.

We can’t say enough about the service and employees! It was an outstanding experience!

2022-05-14I have had one of the worse experiences with BMW ever! This is my 3rd BMW. I got put off during the process, and have yet to have my vehicle be completely setup. Not all of my functions are working properly, and I am not getting assistance, or return calls. My salesman Justin, the manager, and Kwame (not sure of his title), all started ignoring me once the purchase was complete. They dont return phone calls, and dont follow through with what they say they will do. I am so disappointed to have spent this amount of money on a vehicle, and have BMW provide such poor service. I shouldve gone to another car dealership. Update, just realized the financial manager, Michael fraudulently cashed a check without my consent, and not only that, he didnt apply the funds towards the purchase of the vehicle. Upside; Nadia is the best thing going for this dealership.

2022-04-03Anthony Latardo made our buying experience exceptional. While other dealers are taking obscene markups, Anthony was fair and went above and beyond by finding the car we wanted at another dealer. We had our car within 3 weeks and the paperwork took less than 15 minutes.

2020-10-14Really good service here and the staff are nice, friendly, and funny. We were recently in a wreck and it totaled our vehicle. We found the perfect used vehicle at this dealer and Tyler Hill was our sales person. He was the best person to work with and gave us a great deal and even waited after closing for us to arrive (We were about 2 hours away). He already set up the paperwork so upon arriving we were greeted by Tyler and he took us straight to the vehicle (Which they also detailed) and let us take it on a test drive. After the test drive we decided to purchase it and after signing about 20 different papers (This is the car buying process Lol), we were all done! Great people here and I highly recommend looking for your next car!

2022-01-07Absolutely the best car buying experience EVER!! Nadia was a dream to work with throughout the entire process. After searching the southeast for exactly what I wanted and discovering that this vehicle was not to be found, she encouraged me to order directly from BMW. She went above and beyond to meet my needs and provided ongoing communication as I waited for the arrival of my new car. When visiting BMW of Macon, be sure to ask for Nadia. The entire family at BMW of Macon was a pleasure to work with throughout my recent buying experience.
