Bobs Roswell Vacuum is an knowledgeable, friendly, and trustworthy local Roswell business that enthusiastically support. Not everyone wants to have their vacuums repaired nowadays - but if you do - this is the place to take it. They will honestly tell you if your machine is worth repairing, or if it has gone beyond its life and there is no sense in spending money to fix it. Not a lot of businesses will do that. Drew - the repair tech is exceptionally experienced in almost all machines, and can usually diagnose the problem with the machine when you have no idea what is wrong with it. Prices are very reasonable, and the turn around time is fair. I would recommend seeing them for any vacuum repair you have, they also have a good stock of high end Meile machines, and refurbished machines for sale. Great local business to support.
I had a similar experience as Linda but remained in the store (on a not so busy day) until enough records were located and could verify dates of purchase everything was made OK. Sometimes information in the sales records may differ slightly to what is presented to them (as in my case) and it takes more digging to find. The store has a great selection of quality products and prices and the service and recommendations have made my vacuum system improved with every visit (and I dont try to visit often).
Awful customer service. They told me it will take a week to order a hose to my vacuum and when I did not hear from them after two weeks, I called to find out the order has not yet been placed because they get charged by the manufacture per shipping ..... I wish they would have told me that before I left the vacuum in their store. When I asked how long will they take to complete the order they said they were not sure because it will depends on how many customer needed parts from that manufacture!??? Thats crazy!!! The least they could have done was to give me the option to pay for the shipping!!!! Vacuums are not like you can be without for a month when you have dogs in your home!!!! I WOULD NEVER GO THERE AGAIN
This is a very unreliable business. I prepaid for a vacuum hose to be ordered. They called me to let me know it had arrived. I went to pick it up and they said they had no record of me paying for the item and expected me to pay for it again. I then went home to get the original receipt to prove I had paid for the item when I went back with the proof of receipt --they indicated I did not need it that they had found that I had prepaid for the hose. But they did not indicate they could do further research on their part to determine if I had paid--they expected me to be inconvenience having to go home to get the proof of the receipt. They did not have the courtesy to call me to let me know that they had found it the proof of my prepaid. This was a con job that they were trying to get double payment and once they saw that I had the receipt they had to confess that they then knew I had paid for the item Will never use them again.
I remember when BOB ran Bobs Vacuum, he loved is vacuum business and customers - Bob is gone and new owner Ellen is upfront and honest .Unfortunately my recent bad experience with a confrontational, hostile, disrespectful young man, man bun, tatted, huge bottom ear holes with rings, - add uncontrollable laughter and rudeness and you have just PLAIN UGLY. He refused information on my repair regarding the part ordered, I printed out the part an his part quote was TWICE AS MUCH and I showed him. I already paid up front the LABOR of $70.00 just to look at the vacuum. He yelled and threw his arms out like he was ready to fight, he laughed telling me I didnt need to know..............he called the owner Ellen and I was glad. While attempting to speak with Ellen he continued his rant, alternately yelling then laughing and talking over our discussion Ellen told him twice to STAND DOWN. A military terms to shut up before you STAND TALL to a SUPERIOR - clown boy unfit to wear a military uniform did not understand Ellens direction. I told him to stop his threatening gestures and back away do that again and I will call the police. I will never return to this establishment EVER AGAIN - it was HORRIBLE.
This establishment is clean and ran very well. I’ve had the best customer service every time I’ve been here. The products are top of the line, the help and information given by the owner and staff is great. They take the time to help you with any questions you may have, and the repairs are always done well and in a timely fashion. I would recommend this business to anyone in the area!

2022-03-01We brought our steam cleaner in for repair November. We had to pay labor for the repair, but the part was under warranty. Thats totally OK. But Bobs did not fix the issue, so we brought back in December. It is now March 1st, and they have not fixed the machine. Customer Service is a ZERO.

2022-01-29Spectacular staff and great communication. Brought in my vacuum to get my handle replaced and found out they could facilitate the warranty through Bissell for me. 1 week later, and zero cost to me I picked up my vacuum with the same great customer service. Definitely a business that needs some applause. Thank you Bob’s Roswell Vacuum.

2019-08-19We had a wonderful experience purchasing a new Miele recently. Ellen spent a lot of time explaining and demonstrating differences between the models. She tried several times to make sure I was aware that the less expensive options had all of the important features of the more expensive ones. She is honest and took the time to really listen to our needs.Drew called me to give me updates on shipping and let me know when I could expect the vacuum to come in. Yes, it took longer than 2 days and yes, it was so worth the wait! This is a small business with exemplary customer service. I read the bad reviews. Its unfortunate that we have become so accustomed to 2 day shipping and that we no longer recognize the value in having a local real life person to go to for help.I havent even compared the prices of filters and bags between Bobs and Amazon, but intend to purchase all those things directly from the store. Hopefully others will continue to do so as well and our community can help keep these wonderful small businesses afloat. Love the Miele so much; Thank you so much Ellen and Drew!

2021-03-05Visited the shop to purchase a new vacuum. We knew exactly what we wanted, so Ellen didnt need to sell us on it. But, she still took the time to educate us on the machines features and provide guidance on maintaining it, which we really appreciated.

2014-12-23Ive had my vacuum repaired here twice. They are always fair, quick and helpful. My vacuum was a nice Hoover Wind Tunnel, higher end when purchased, but it has a rough life, with 2 kids and numerous pets. Theyve helped extend its life by 2 years and counting so far. The prices are much more reasonable than having to purchase a new, lesser quality vacuum. The gentleman I worked with the first repair gave me lots of tips for saving money and to help extend the life of the parts. I highly recommend them.

2020-02-27Ellen and Phillip are great!Ellen put a belt on for me, got it home and other things happened. Sent an email, Ellen called and asked me to bring it back in. A different belt had fallen off, a screw was out and a lever had fallen off. Ellen fixed the issues as soon as I brought it in and apologized. Have taken my Hoover there for years! Great place!Phillip was very kind and helpful, carrying my vacuum to and from the car.

2019-11-05Had issue with my vacuum . The guy fixed it in 5 mins saved me from having to get a new one.He has a funny sign that says , Just because I fixed you vacuum in 5 minutes doesnt mean I didnt EARN what I charge it just proves I been doing this for a while .He says people complain he charges too much for quick fixes but if he didnt fix it you would be buying a WHOLE new vacuum cleaner so fair exchange

2018-08-07Ive brought my vacuum in twice now for help, and have been so impressed with these guys. They are knowledgeable, fast, friendly, and reasonably priced. They even take the time to explain what theyre doing and educate their customers. They clearly care about their industry and take pride in their work.

2019-05-08Drew is AMAZING!!! I dont even know where to begin, so here goes. First let me tell you that my wife owns her own housekeeping business and has invested in 3 canister vacuums that each cost around $1300. With that said I was looking for a location to fix one of them because the power switch stopped working. I decided to come in and see if they could help. Well, Drew did more than just replace the faulty part. He was very patient in taking the time to educate me on the specific brand. What we could do to maintain these going for another 15 plus years. Keep in mind that these vacuums are being used 3 to 5 times a day. I was very surprised as to how much knowledge he had about this brand. But it was his words that showed it to me, it was his actions. As we were talking he identified the problem, took it apart and replaced it and put it back together in less than 20 minutes. Now please Im not saying that every issue will get solved like this. But the fact that this young man was able to get us back on the road that quickly says alot. Unfortunately in Atlanta their is only one location that services our brands of vacuums and tbh I was dreading the drive all the way up their. So finding this location for us is like finding a needle in a haystack. Another thing that impressed me was that Drew did not try to sell me a vacuum. I asked plenty of questions about the brand he carries but not a single time did he try to sell me one. Thats also another thing that says alot about his character. Lastly the price. He was very reasonably priced for the job our canister needed. So not only did I save a trip but I found a knowledgeable man that could fix our vacuums at a fair price. I highly recommend this place, you might be surprised as I was. Thank you Drew, you have not seen the last of us 😊
