A gym with all the equipment you need for whatever training you’re into, Olympic lifting, strongman, body building or just improving fitness. The staff is knowledgeable and willing to help you out. Their coaches are high quality and will make sure you are performing well and with good/safe technique!
I have been a member for almost 2 years and the BE staff and gym members are amazing! Its a great environment to meet any and all fitness goals you have set out to achieve! The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable in helping you learn new skill sets or building on your current skill set! Coach Powell can help you out with your nutrition goals!
This really is an outstanding gym from beginners to people that compete in competition. Everybody in here is happy to help you out with whatever you need help on and if you want to grab a personal trainer Matt bjorson is great and they’ve got others too. I’m so glad I found this place.
This is gym is the best one in town! Has everything. Free weights, machines, barbell and strongman side and a ton of endurance training machines. Staff is always friendly and greats you with a smile. Thanks Matt and Chelsea for being so welcoming and listening to what we need and want in the gym!
Body Evolution is such an amazing Gym. Matt and Chelsea Powell have done an excellent job in the transition and making this the best gym in town. Strongman classes, barbell, bootcamp, personal training and so much more is offered here. Love the atmosphere and cleanliness of the Gym! Definitely worth a drop by!

Body Evolution gym is the best gym in Columbus, GA. Not just because of the equipment, classes, and personal trainers (Victoria, Heidi, and Matt and Matt), but because of the ownership. Matt and Chelsea Powell are terrific people who care about their members. 10/10 recommended
You can really tell that new owners care about the needs of the members. As soon as they took ownership they ask the members what equipment they would like to have in the gym. Within a month they purchased a bunch of new equipment and fixed equipment that needed repairs. Body Evolution is the only place in town that is a one stop shop for all your fitness needs. They have multiple coaches with tons of experience, education, and certifications. Most have worked with the military either in the army as strength and conditioning coaches or certified athletic trainers with theyre cscs. They also have experience with sport performance from middle school athletes to professional athletes. Body Evolution is the only gym in town with a physical therapist who also specializes in sports performance and rehab. They have a massage therapist who is amazing. Last but not least the only gym in town that has a registered dietitian that can build you customized nutrition plans based of your needs and medical conditions. The staff that works the front desk are highly knowledgeable and extremely friendly. There are multiple classes with time options that meet your needs, whether its learning basic barebell movements, getting into strongman/woman, OLY lifting, or just looking to get healthy this is the only place I recommend.

Ive never been to a gym quite like this one on the civillian side. I broke my back in 2010 in the Army, and the type of equipment they have there has been paramount in my path to recovery. They have equipment you only see in professional sports and rehab or tier 1/tier 2 military units. Working with Matt Powell and his staff brought me back from from the dead essentially and rehabbed me to the point I was successful at my lvl 2 SWAT course. Top of the class!!! If you dont check this place out for yourself you are truly missing out.
The facility is well maintained, bathroom are clean, everything is organized and easy to find. There’s every piece of equipment you could need! The coaches are always hanging around if you ever need help or have a question. Love BE!

Body Evo is the first gym I ever went to. While the rates are very reasonable and the equipment is top notch, what really sets this gym apart are the classes and the community. I attended the strongman classes, during which there is a coach there to help anyone if they’d like, and all the coaches are professional athletic trainers. My main ask of them was to show me how to do basic exercise/strength movements properly and without injuring myself, and they went above and beyond. I never thought I would be excited to go to the gym, nor did I think I would ever be so sad to leave one. Thank you to Body Evo — if I’m ever in Columbus, I’ll be back!
Ive trained with Mary Cain for the past three years. I cannot say enough good things about her and this gym. It feels like a home away from home. If youre serious about getting into shape, this is undoubtedly the best gym in Columbus. Its serious weights, coaching and more. Boot camp, kids camp but most of all its a family with welcoming arms!

Fantastic owners with an extraordinary staff and the most magnificent coaches around I don’t know why you wouldn’t go to this gym. If you’re sick of lunk alarms and want to kick your fitness journey into Mach 5.5 get into Body Evolution.
Great Veteran owned gym. The owners and staff are friendly and always willing to help. I am nearing the end of my first 6 week challenge with Mary and it has been an awesome experience. Not only is Mary patient and knowledgeable but she is also very responsive. She is always quick to give motivation or to offer alternatives when something isn’t working for me.Jamie and Mary (and Apollo!) have made my husband and I feel welcome and I am happy to call Body Evolution my gym home. I also like that there aren’t “salesman” trainers hovering around trying to sell you training packages like some of the other gyms we have gone to.
Best gym in town, lots of equipment for whatever you’re training for- Powerlifting, Olympic Lifting, Strongman, Bodybuilding….knowledgeable coaches and Registered Dietitian available.Overall amazing!

This gym is by far one of the best things to ever happen to me. As an overweight person with poor self image, I was always intimidated by other gyms so I remained unhealthy/not fit. That all changed when I met the owner Mary Cain and went on a journey losing 91 lbs. The environment here is welcoming, encouraging, and inspiring. They are passionate not only about its members health, but the over all health of the community. I moved away more than two years ago and gained much of my weight back. They consistently checked on me never making me feel like a loser, but rather continued to encourage and offer advice. I recently decided to do a 6 week challenge and not only did I win my money back but I won my desire to be healthy and for back. I encourage you to try this place out. You won’t be disappointed🔥

This is, hands down, my favorite gym I have ever been a member of. Mary Cain is a literal godsend and her Family and the gym Family they have created is one of a kind. The worst part about moving so often for my Family is having to find new gyms and new routines to get into, and Body Evolution was there to welcome us with open arms and brought us right into the Family so we could train hard and be focused on our goals. They do it all! Boot camps, training, nutrition, posing, and even host their own sports show/contest/expo. I’ve literally never felt so at-home with a group of people and have never felt so supported in my fitness goals. The atmosphere is motivating. The members are open-minded and kind. The worst part about having to PCS is going to be missing this gym and all it has offered me and my husband. Another great part about this place is how MILITARY FRIENDLY they are. With so much travel, and an upcoming deployment, they work with you 100% to allocate expenses and adjust memberships with generous rates so that you’re never being ripped off like so many other places we have been to. LOVE THIS GYM!
Membership is NOT the goal. This place is 100% hell bent on your success as an athlete. Is you just want a place to ride a stationary machine, this is not the gym for you. If you want the whole package, diet, fitness, mobility, and strength-you get all that here. Mary Cain has a proven track record that cannot be denied. Mary and husband Jamie have clearly poured their heart and soul into Body Evolution. They have an a-la-cart suite of one on one diet and exercise plans and built in classes depending on your membership. The classes range from challenging CrossFit style moves to hard core strong man lift programs. If your goal is strictly body building, who better than Georgias own multiple times champion in a variety of events!

This gym is a perfect place for both beginners and veteran athletes alike. The atmosphere is great, the gym has a wide variety of machinery and equipment, and staff that is very knowledgeable and experienced.
Absolutely the best gym in Columbus. Large enough for everyone to workout and not have to constantly wait for equipment but also small enough to not get lost in. All of the staff are very helpful when you need it. I have been to a lot of gyms I my life but this one here has been the best that I have ever used. Mary Cain and Pam George will get you right back in shape in no time.
I am so thankful for Body Evolution! My husband and I have been members for a year. Six weeks ago I decided to participate in the You vs You challenge. I have lost 20 pounds in 6 weeks all thanks to Mary Cain! I followed her meal plan and she kept me accountable and motivated each week. I went to the bootcamp classes which are tough but my instructors were great. Thank you Donna and Joe! Every one there is so supportive and encouraging. I have flipped tires, pushed sleds, and many other things that I never thought I would be able to do. I have not just lost weight, but also made friends and learned better habits that I plan to continue.
I became a member of Body Evolution almost a year ago. I have never felt comfortable in a gym until now. This gym is a no judgement zone! The owners, (Jamie & Mary Cain), of this gym are phenomenal and are always ready to help. I have had personalized diets with weekly check-ins with Mary over the past several months. She is always positive and keeps you motivated throughout her program. And if you meet your goal, she just may give you an old fashion tackle! I have participated in the Bootcamps provided by this gym which have exceptional trainers. However, when Halloween arrived, I decided to “hibernate” for the holiday season like I do every year. This means, continue to do the Bootcamps but eat whatever I want and no cardio!!! At the end of November, out of nowhere, I got a text from Mary – “How’s it going?”. She didn’t have to text me, but it was like she knew I needed to get back on track. Again, no judgement. I wrote her back telling her I am going downhill. I wanted to hide. I think she knew it so she started sending me reminders via text: Cardio? In January, I decided to get back on track. I joined one of her 6-week programs. I have been in the gym from 3am to 630am every morning except Sunday. She has been right there with me tracking my progress. Support doesn’t only come from her but comes from different people at the gym. The trainers are always willing to help you even if you are not doing a program. No matter your size or shape, everyone is very supporting. This gym is like family.
Pretty standard gym with an add on functional fitness area. You have to pay a bit extra to use this area with one person membership costing around $80 per month. I mainly workout early morning so the 24 hour open is handy. Some of the cardio machines are a bit on the older side (my understanding is they are working on newer equipment) but functional. I mainly do HiiT style workouts and Olympic lifting vs. standing in front of a mirror so the functional fitness area is welcome, if at times a bit crowded when a training class is in session, but thats ok - one team one dream and nobodies rude about it.
Great gym, I think it’s the best in Columbus Ga for sure. Dumbbells go up to 150 so that’s great for heavy lifters like myself 😏.
Man, this is what Im talking about! An awesome old school no games warehouse style gym. Staff is laid back and awesome. More then enough weights for us heavy lifters, and a good layout. Some crossfit stuff sectioned off on one side of the gym, and plenty of stairmasters! Would come here everyday if I lived in Columbus. Owner answers his own gym phone, and even set me up with an awesome priced guest pass for the week. You dont see that level of customization or customer service that often anymore. All thumbs up for this place.

Great gym for making gainz. Great late at night when you have the gym to yourself and can set up four stations or more to kick some ass and not worry about a crowd. Wish the garage can stay open at that hour to keep an eye on my car and left to the last member there to close it. Great gym with all the equipment you will ever need and I suggest you check it out.

This gym has set the standard. It is the greatest gym I have been to and a great environment. If you are down here for BOLC or getting ready for Ranger school this is where you need to be. All the equipment you need plus 24 hour access, you literally have no excuse as to why you cant train. Will miss it for sure!

Jamie is an amazing guy, always treated me with respect from day 1. Great gym!!! In every way. I hated having to move and leave, but even then jamie was super professional and the process only took less than five minutes over the phone. Evident by the lack of transparency on their website and information forms.Gym owners response to unethical contract entrapment was to cite the provisions of Georgia law, O.C.G.A. Section 10-1-393.2. His argument has multiple logical fallacies debunked by the Georgia Law Consumer Rights Act 1992. Additionally common sense applied, the lack of transparency about membership contracts on his website suggests that he is capitalizing on new residents of the Columbus Area and their excitement to join a gym.

2022-01-04Hands down the best gym in the Columbus Metro area. Highly qualified, trained, professional, and courteous staff. Gym patrons are all friendly. I’ve seen potential clients come in and other gym members take it upon themselves to make that person feel welcome. It’s not even a sales pitch by a staff member. It’s the other member’s being excited to share their knowledge and welcome new people. The atmosphere is really top notch for exercising.Beyond the atmosphere, you won’t find such a wide variety of equipment anywhere. The owner, Matt, has a competitive lifting background and has really decked out the gym with all the best stuff. It’s the best place to get a truly complete workout. You won’t have to switch your workout to fit the equipment. They have everything and more.I travel all the time. Every time I visit a new gym I just wish I were at body evolution.

2022-01-04I have been in the Columbus area for the last 17 years and have tried every gym in the area to include those on post and BE is by far the best gym in the area. The atmosphere promotes hard work and dedication without being overbearing. A gym family climate that is supportive regardless of your level or goals. Extremely knowledgeable staff and coaches for all disciplines. Military based and professionally managed with 24 hour access allows for around the clock training. Best gym in the area.

The atmosphere in the gym is unmatched, everyone is super friendly and willing to help if you’re new and looking for advice. 2022-01-05Body Evolution is a great gym to meet any goals for fitness or to just have a nice environment to workout in. The owners respond quickly when inquiring about the membership and will give you a tour of the facility prior to signing up. Along with just making sure you are taken care of. I feel safe and at home working out there. I am working with one of their Strength coaches, Matt Bjornson, he is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and motivating. Everyone one that works there is extremely friendly. Highly recommend this gym.

2022-01-05Body Evolution is the best gym in Columbus Georgia, and possibly the Southeast US. The trainers are super friendly and knowledgeable, the gym is better equipped than any other Ive been to, with machines like Jacobs Ladders, Ski Ergs, plenty of chalk and Olympic Bars. Matt, the owner and head coach, is the epitome of a professional in strength sports.10/10 would recommend to a veteran, and someone just getting started on taking control of their health. You wont be disappointed.

I dont know of another place in town that has 24 hr access, a staff full of coaches with more credentials and experience than anywhere else, and both strongman and weightlifting/crossfit equipment available for use. You also cant ask for better gym owners than Matt and Chelsea. Theyre always doing new things to accommodate the members and are always willing to help with whatever you need.

2022-01-16Body Evolution is an excellent gym with a great community and staff. When I walk into this place, the atmosphere is facilitating of accomplishing goals, whatever they may be. The owners, Matt and Chelsea, have put a lot of effort to improving the facility since they took over in August 2021 by continuing to add new equipment that members and the staff think would be beneficial. On top of that, they offer many services that I personally think are unmatched in the area to include: Personal workout programming, personal training, nutrition plans from a Registered Dietitian, physical therapy, massage, group fitness/ boot camp, and on site coaching! I will be making this my home gym for as long as I get to call the Chattahoochee Valley area my home.

2022-01-28Not your average gym. You don’t have to be a body builder, strongman competitor or cross fitter. This gym is clearly tailored to anyone with the mindset of bettering themselves and or competing. The last two days I have noticed a great sense of a strong community which every “gym go-er” can respect. 100% recommend to anyone.
