Bonefish Grill in other cities:
My significant other surprised me with dinner here last night. The food was delicious and served in a timely manner. Our server Denton was very attentive and definitely deserves 5 stars. My one complaint was the restaurant was a bit too cold. Therefore we left sooner than originally planned. We mentioned it to our server he addressed it with the manger. We were told the temperature would be adjusted, 30 minutes later it was still a bit too chilly. Besides the big chill in the restaurant everything else was delightful.
My boyfriend and I came here for an impromptu date night after seeing that Cancun was closed down due to the fire. Honestly, we loved it at Bonefish! I got the Imperial Cod, and he got the pasta. The Imperial Cod was nicely seasoned and flaky, and came with delicious scallops. My boyfriends pasta had perfect red pepper sauce, something he tells me is difficult to get right...and they did! When the food came out, they had shrimp on his pasta instead of the salmon he asked for, and the hostess who brought our food out quickly and without question corrected the mistake. We definitely plan on coming back here again sometime soon!
We have been in the states now for more than one week. Drove all the way down from Washington DC. And this is the best food I had until now.The most succulent steak perfect cooked, unbelievable crab cake and the cheesecake was awesome.I understand that Americans complain but I think its more about the amount than the taste.BTW Im a Belgian.
First time here, I had the Salmon that was very good, very tasteful. My only complaint is the sides with the meal, they were very little (portion) for a $21 plate. My mash potatoes looked like a ice cream scoop...small. nevertheless it was tasteful. I strongly recommend the salmon.
Our server was great but my husband food wasnt. We order 2 bang bang shrimps. 2 orders crab cakes. Crab fries. My order came out and we had to ask 20 min later where is my husbands food. Well it came immediately and the batter fell off the shrimp. All the crab cakes came out the same time and they fell apart as soon as the fork touch it. The drinks was good. 1 star is because my bang bang shrimps was ok but it look like somebody stole some of my shrimps off the top. Ill try another location because this location sucks. The manager did take off the items we didnt eat. The crab fries wasnt good.
Only reason for 2 stars. Is.. Service was amazing. However food wasnt. Fish was dry, overpriced drinks. I live on the gulf, where we have real seafood, but Im in town 2 weeks of the month... but..... This place.. dry, taste like it was previously frozen, and thawed out a few times. Probably will not be back.
Food was good but careless chef could have killed me. Asked several times about having my fish cooked in a pan explaining my severe allergy. Told I would be fine they would absolutely cook in clean pan. When it was brought out, again asked the person who delivered it if there had been any issue with cooking it in a pan, “no issue”. I started to take a bite and thankfully stopped before I did when I realized there were grill marks on it. When our server was free and came over she assured me it was probably that they used a clean grill but checked. Nope they just ignored the allergy note. That is dangerous. My throat closes and I am allergic to the stabilizer in the epi pen so I probably would have died.UPDATE: Manager was very responsive to my review and apologized profusely. She looked into the issue and found that it was the server, not the chef that had made the mistake. Apologies to the chef. Server has been spoken to and is getting further training. Again, food was good.
The bread was warm and fresh. The dipping oil was very tasty. We loved the Bang Bang shrimp! They were hot, crispy, and just right! My steak was okay and could have used a bit more seasoning. The crab cakes were full of crab, not a lot of bread, and were absolutely amazing! My friends shrimp and salmon were good, but the pasta was lacking. It was not flavorful and did not have enough sauce. Our server was very nice and efficient.
Service was great. The food was hit or miss. The bang bang shrimp was reliably good. My steak was cooked well, and my grilled shrimp tasted fresh, but it wasnt seasoned well. My guest had grilled mahi which was okay. We ordered potstickers and imperial dip to go for later. They were almost completely inedible. There are many places to grab great food in Savannah with similar prices that will give you a much better value.
I’m visiting from out of town and we wanted to do something simple but semi fancy. The food was DELICIOUS! But the lady who served us (I believe her name was Jacquelyn) was very rude. My boyfriend and I were just wanting drinks and it was almost like she was fed up with us. We let it slide because we understand people have bad days. But we highly recommend the Bang Bang shrimp!
Very nice server. Food quality is very good for a chain. The three stars reflects an odd situation that I cant ignore.I arrived rather late in the evening as I was traveling on business. The restaurant closed at 9 PM and I got there around 8:15 PM.I ordered one of the recommended specials. My server said she needed to check to make sure that they still had that particular fish. She returned and said I would be getting the last portion. When I received my meal it was apparent that I had approximately 1/2 the amount of fish that the person sitting right across from me had when they received their entree.I politely asked the people dining next to me if they were having the butterfish and they said yes.Clearly I did get what was left and it was less than a normal portion.(Some may assume I was not taking into consideration that the portion is by weight, not size. Trust me - this was definitely not the same portion by weight. It was obviously a smaller amount of fish.)It wasnt a deal breaker and worthy of contacting a manager because it was late and I didnt mind the small portion. It was just silly of the line cook and/or food expiditer to try and pull such nonsense off on a customer.
Started out at the bar for our meal but it smelled like an old stale bar so moved to a table. Service was very good. Thé pour for highballs was noticeably light.Food was pretty good but sauces are uninspired. Overall I think Bonefish needs to update their whole concept and deep clean/ remodel many of their stores. Many of them are quite dated which is unfortunate. Also the wine list is lazy. I understand a corporate wine list but come on. Really lame list.
So this is how my family and I ended up having fast food tonight, instead of eating at Bonefish. Wish I could leave a review based on the food, but my family and I didnt get to eat here. The hostess seated us around 8:50 PM, where we sat until 9:20PM with no service at all- no drinks, nothing... Passing servers refused to even make eye contact while walking by our table, although Im sure they were aware of a party of 4 at a table with no menus or drinks, we were seated close enough to the order entry station that we could hear the servers talking about their customers at their tables, so there were plenty of wait staff present. At this point, I had to deal with hungry, cranky children wanting to know what was going on, and I realized it was time to leave. On our way out, I spoke to the manager and explained why we were leaving. He offered to make sure we were served if we wanted to stay, but in my experience, if you have to complain about something as basic as getting a server at a table, you probably shouldnt eat there.
The service was a little slow but I was with a group of about 25 people so they did the best they could. They did mixup some plates when the meals were delivered and it took a while to get refills at times. We only had one waitress for the tables. It may have been a good idea to have more than one with a large group.
My girlfriend and I lunch monthly. The food here is usually good. Tried the lobster fries dish. No clumps of meat in it just hard to find flakes. Staff was short-handed and it took awhile but still very courteous and food (my 2nd order) was hot and delicious. An accident made me late. I told the hostess my friend was here. She said there were no single parties & seated me. Fifteen minutes later my friend calls she is in a booth on the other side waiting on me.
We have been dinning in this restaurant every year for the last 10-years. It was my 10-year anniversary celebrating our first date. The service was so bad I would never recommend for anyone to eat there. I told the managing partner that because of this experience I will never go back to that establishment.
It is rare that I review chain restaurants, but I chose to review the food and service at this location because the service was excellent and the food was as good as local seafood restaurants in Savannah. I have been to this location twice in the last week and was impressed by the servers (and bartenders ) attention to detail. They were constantly eyeing my drink and, when low, provided a refill or inquired of I would like another. My Ahi Tuna appetizer was well prepared and the appropriate temperature. The appetizers and entrees came to the table on time. All in all, a great experience. I will certainly be back when next in Savannah.
Food is mediocre at best, waited over an hour(establishment was half empty and not busy) on a burnt steak, raw asparagus and cold potatoes, server was friendly and awesome. Way over priced for what your getting. Family had fish and pasta, no one seemed to like it either.
Only place nearby that could seat 8 right way on a Monday. The others had staffing issues. Friendly staff. A little slow but not bad. Bread was great. Mains were inconsistent. Good salads. Calamari was meh. Sauce was salty. Fontina pork was great.fish and chips very good
I celebrated my 61st birthday here at Bonefish in Savannah being from out of state I was skeptical of the place. I am please to let the restaurant know they are doing a fabulous job and the waitress that served my table she was simply amazing. Her smile her personality and the intelligence made me feel so warm and welcoming. Everything that we ordered was perfectly selected and prepared just as described. I give the waitress and the restaurant 5 stars... Trust me Im one hard cookie to please... However, you touched my soft spot and thanks for such welcoming experience.*****👍🏽...I dont recall the waitress name but she served me and my friend... And also brought us fabulous dessert at the end of the meal...I was there May 1st 2021 @ 5pm
We celebrated 🍾 our 15th wedding anniversary and this Bonefish Grill did not disappoint at ALL! I had the Surf-n-Turf dish and tried a SMOKED Old Fashioned Drink!! It was absolutely DELICIOUS! And thank you to the staff for the cheesecake! It was GREAT!! We WILL visit again!!🎉🎊🎉🎊
The rude racist hostess seated several tables before us. Told me she would have our table in 3 minutes and then seated several tables before us. When did being white become a reason to not get your table in the order you arrived. 10 empty tables in the restaurant. We will not ever be back.
Waitress was great, food was pathetic! Would not return. In town for a conference and very familiar with the area. This restaurant has gone way down in quality. Ordered a filet medium and received a sirloin more than well cooked. Staff tried to say it was a filet but cooked wrong. Most definitely wasnt a filet. Ended up getting a new filet 20 minutes later. When check arrived we were charged for two filets. There are multiple other restaurants in Savannah where a much better dinner is served for the price.
A little disappointed because I love eating here, but tonight the food was a lot spicier than usual. I don’t know if it’s because someone added too much of one ingredient to the sauce but it was a little off. I asked the waitress if they changed the recipe for the bang bang shrimp because it didn’t look the usual color or taste the same and she said no, so maybe it’s just me. But even my boyfriend said his usual order was spicier than normal. Usually very good, could’ve been an off day for the staff.
My fiance and I came here for dinner and was very disappointed. We started off with a mojito, the smoke old fashion, & calamari. Our server actually made our drinks which was fine except the part where she shook my old fashion instead of stirring it, which was mind blowing. Anyone that works in the bar industry should know the concepts and right techniques to make every drink that is made! We then ordered our entrées and my fiance ordered the sea bass and I ordered the cod. Calamari came out and was hard than when our entrées came out, our server decided to bring bread? Which was also hard. Then came our entrées and my cod fish entree came out cold! The whole dish, not just my fish but my potatoes as well and my pre frozen cod fish was overcooked because it came out rubbery. The pre frozen seabass came out fine. The server took back the cod fish and never came back out. No one came to our table, no one apologized, or anything. All of a sudden, maybe 20min later after my fiance was done eating, my plate came out with a whole new server? Not once did my server come back to check on us or even explain to me what she was going to do or even ask me about any options. I asked what happened to our server and she said she had worked a double that day and it was time for her to go? She never even let us know that we were going to be handed off to another server, which I felt was rude. She could have at least came by to explain to me what was going on and how long my other food was going to take so that I had a choice to either still want it or cancel it. In all the years that Ive worked in hospitality, I would have never done this and I, as the manager would have at least been table touching to see how my guests were doing or enjoying everything. I would not recommend this restaurant.
My husband loved his cajun pasta but I did not care for my stuffed fish... I was very disappointed in it and wish that I had ordered something else. It is the item on the menu; not a special that I ordered. The fish was a little odd in its texture and the stuffing wasnt anything special.
Horrible service. Stood at the front waiting on the hostess to seat us for almost 10 mins after getting the person in front of us. Sit down just to wait for 10 mins with no server. Then I ask hostess who the server is and she went to get them. Another almost 10 mins pass no server. We left. That was ridiculous! No they weren’t under staffed either, if anything they were over staffed. The hostess apologized. That’s the only positive thing I can take from this experience.
The word I would use to describe the signature pasta is bland if you like foods with spices and taste I do not recommend bonefish me and my sister both had the pasta and it was nasty my grandma had the corn chowder and it taste old the calamari was delightful with the sauce other then that never again!
This was our first time here but were recommended by my sisters so had to try. We love the bread with the oil. Very delicious. We ordered for a starter the imperial dip. Wowsers!!!! Felt like we were scraping the edges of how much we loved it. I ordered the single lobster tail with garlic mashed potatoes and potatoes a gratin. I fell in love with this dish. My hub got the ahi tuna steak with seasoned veggies and potatoes a gratin and loved it too. Our waitress Tonisha was great. We definitely will come back.
It was great per usual. Tonight was exceptional because it was my birthday and to top it off, we had an amazing server by the name of Tonisha(spell check). She knows how to take care of her guest. The first time in forever that my husband didnt think twice about how much he should tip. Thank you Tonisha for a great end to my night...by the way, she also treated me with birthday vittles.
Restaurant recommended by our hotel, it was so good we came back twice in a week. Bang bang shrimps was a must, lightly battered and crispy, with soft and sweet shrimps inside, the sauce was also amazing. Waygu burger was excellent. The lobster stuffed shrimps was an A-, as lobster and topping were awesome but the shrimps were boiled-then-frozen type and were a bit underwhelming. Crab fried rice was not good. French fries were a hit with kids. Services and ambiance were awesome and overall a great place on the road and we would recommend it.
My sister and I are having a Sister, Sister weekend in Savannah. Weve enjoyed the city, but we wanted to eat at a great place that we are familiar with, mostly for some great salmon. We happily settled on Bonefish Grill. The restaurant wasnt busy at the time, so it was a nice atmosphere. Our server worked the area/tables near the bar on 10/11/21 after noon. She was very soft spoken, but she was on the job. She updated our drinks and we never even saw her come by. She was patient and made sure we had everything we needed. There was an issue with our order, but she fixed it and apologized before we could say something. Kudos my friend! The food, of course, was amazing. The Bang Bang shrimp, the lemon butter topping for the salmon....perfect!!! Thank you for a great dining experience🥰👏🏾
The food normally is good but this day I went I went for my 15 year anniversary. With my wife at about hour and 5 mins before closing time. And I know this is the time standards normally drop. But we came in sat down and we sat there almost 20 mins before we were greeted if it wasnt for the hostes we wouldnt have gotten no service . We ordered bang bang fries o ce we got them they were dry like they been sitting under the heat lamp. So our meal was terrible so our dinner for our Anniversary was awful. So for a 70 bill we left a terrible tip. And I understand sometimes standards can change, I worked in the back of the house I bone fish 12 years ago so trust I understand.
I sat at the bar order stuff cod with broccoli and bacon and cheese macaroni the fish was cold couldnt eat at all the macaroni was lukewarm but the broccoli was hot I was very disappointed with the meal especially with the fish not being hot I couldnt even eat it all they did take the fish off of the ticket but I was real disappointed the ladies at the bar was real nice and did great service but I just have to think of if I were ever order any seafood from that place again
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. From the moment we walked in the door we were welcomed with happy faces and great service like they actually wanted us there(what a concept!) the hostess/manager(not sure which) was happy, confident, and very helpful. I even saw her pick trash up off the dining room floor which I never see anymore. Our server Shay was super friendly and attentive. Everyone that interacted with our table including food runners were also very attentive and caring. Will definitely be back!!!
Had a girls weekend in Savannah and we ate here…twice! First time I had the cedar planked salmon and it was delicious. The best part was that our server Shay was just most pleasant and attentive server that we requested to be seated in her area the second time we visited. She was still the most pleasant and attentive server.
The salmon with mango salsa was the best part of my takeout meal. The side portions looked like they were for a toddler. I ordered a side of asparagus, which was an extra charge but not at all worth it, and steamed vegetables, which turned out to be just broccoli. The asparagus came in a separate container, all for 5 slim pieces. I counted, and they gave me 5 pieces for $4 extra. They couldve tried to include more. Plus they cross contaminate, which is never good, but obliged to cook my food separately in respect of my shellfish allergy. I recommend this place only for the fish.
I stopped-in for an early dinner and was pleasantly surprized at how quickly I was greeted by both the hostess and the bar tender Amanda. I ordered my dinner at the bar and not only was Amanda very professional, she was quick. She waisted no time in submitting my ticket and my dinner was served exactly as I ordered it. My sirloin was a beautifully medium temp and my side of spinach well seasoned. I will keep this establishment on my list of places to frequent. Thanks.
Bone Fish is usually good. This one though we had to ask for bread. Seemss they changed their policy and only bring it if you ask? And we never got our appetizer, food was brought out so told them not to bring the appetizer. But they had some really great watermelon martinis... they made up for the forgotten appetizer!
It was a welcome and delightful change. I must admit that I have been disappointed to have less than enjoyable experiences here my last few times, yet I have always been a fan of the food and cocktails.Last night, though, everything seemed to be getting back up to par. The Bang Bang shrimp, as usual, was amazing. It is definitely enough for a meal. The crab chowder certainly rivals some of the best I have had. I could have gone without the bacon bit topping, but that is just preference. Our server, Daniel, was attentive and friendly, and the take home order that we got after dining in was packaged well. The bar seemed a bit slow/behind, but there was a semi large dinner crowd. The note attached to the carryout was a nice touch. Perhaps new management is to be credited for the overall revamping? Either way, it was absolutely the more pleasurable experience that I remember from Bonefish much before.
My 11 yr old son insisted on Bonefish Grill for lunch and I must say, the kids pick was on point! The atmosphere was warm, inviting, clean, and elegant on this cold wet day in Savannah, GA. The new Crab Fries are a must try as one of your starters and whatever you order, you must include Ms. Wilmas Jasmine Rice. It is prepared to perfection! 👌✨
Ordered food through Postmates to our hotel last night. Obviously I don’t expect it to be super hot or anything like that. Which it was cold but even then the flavors of the food were just meh. The garlic mashed potatoes were good but that’s about it. The most upsetting part was the food poisoning that came immediately after eating... I’m so upset that on our first vacation this is what happens and now I don’t feel up to going out and doing anything. Even more annoyed that when I look on previous reviews there is one from a couple of weeks ago where the exact same thing happened!!! Wish I would’ve saw that before. I’m not sure if it’s unsafe food preparations or what. But somethings not right at this restaurant and needs to be fixed ASAP!! Stop getting your customers sick!!! Not fair to waste their money!
Got takeout from here. Great, quick service and good value for money spent. I ordered tacos which came with my selected side, plus a salad, and bread with an oil and herb dip. Im not sure if it said online I would receive that, but it was a great surprise in the bag! Definitely would get again for takeout.
Unfortunately, due to the various factors that is making every place of business having HELP WANTED signs in their windows, the service as lacking. Not because the service was bad, just understaffing makes it near impossible for the wait staff anywhere to be as attentive to clients as they could be.The waitstaff, although overworked was putting their best feet forward. The servers had smiles, and were very pleasant. The hostess and I believe the manager were not only seating folks, but were also clearing, cleaning and resetting each table. This restaurant was working like a fine tuned machine.the food was the quality and quantity that one would expect from any Bonefish Grill anywhere in the US.
From out of town. So glad my wife found this place! The Bang Bang Shrimp is amazing! We would also recommend the Steak and Crab Cake Combo. It was perfect to split (for 2 people that don’t eat heavy). Eden was our server and she made us feel welcome. Her knowledge of the menu made an impact on our selections in a wonderful way.
We went for dinner, Chowder soup is warm not hot, chicken was not fully cook. Give a second chance, went for lunch fish Tacos has very little fish, romaine in caesars salad has been chilled too long it was like cooked spinach at the bottom. Although the bread was good! Need lots of improvement before we decided to go back!
Tonight me and my queen had an amazing experience!! The Mahi Mahi and shrimp and the filet mignon was so perfectly cooked. Food came super fast and was just the right temperature with a ton of flavor. The waitress was very friendly and helpful at explaining the menu. And the drinks were on point as well with the smokey bourbon and coral reef punch. No long wait times with an easy to get reservation and definitely will be returning 😎
I really like eating at bonefish. This was mothers day weekend. I ordered fish, took two bite on the third to share with my husband it was raw. After letting someone know, it took almost 45 minutes to a hour. I was not even hungry anymore. No I didnt ask for it to be recorded it would have dry the fish. I then ask for the pork chop. Yes, it was cook and I did eat.
Called as we were pulling in to see if there was any wait, we were told there wasn’t any wait for two people. We walk in and we’re told there’s a 30 minute wait!! I told them what was said on the phone and she said they were cutting servers... we sat outside for about 20 minutes and watched 5 groups come out and when my husband went to ask if we could be seated, we were again told there is still going to be a wait. Even though there was only about 5 groups left sitting in the entire place!!!
I’ve eaten 2 times at Bonefish grill, this is my first time coming. I had the fish and chips and I wasn’t too excited about eating the rest. The bang bang shrimp and the beef dumplings were really good. I used UberEats for my second meal, everything came on time, no issues.
This review is solely based on service and not on the food because I never got to order. We sat for 20 min and were never serviced before we decided to leave. We waited patiently as we know servers are busy, even though it wasnt even busy at the time. Saw 2 different parties that sat down after us (one containing 6 people) getting drinks and orders taken, and yet we continued to get over looked. We were super excited to dine in, and the fact that our 1 yr old was sound asleep lead me to believe that my family and I would have a really nice dining experience. Again, I can not comment on the food here but by the looks of the plates being delivered to the tables left and right of ours, it looked delicious. As we notified the hostess we would be leaving due to no service, the only response was ohh sorry. P.s. its valentines day 🥰
All the staff I interacted with were very polite and made sure I had everything I needed. The place was also very clean and even when I had my mask off to eat the staff made sure I was distanced enough to not risk my health or the health of others! Thanks for a great meal!( Everything is pricer than an olive garden or applebees but the food was amazing and my $12 salad I was full after half of it so its worth it to me)
Everything seemed good while we were eating, except my hubbys mahi mahi. It was way over cooked! Then for me I woke up with stomach pains at 3am. Follow by a hour of being sick. Finally was able to go to bed at 5am. Wait a go guys, just how I wanted to spend my vacation. Who wants to pay 80 bucks for the family to eat and then you get sick?
My sisters and cousins had our monthly girls night dinner at this location last night and Akilah made our night amazing. She was so attentive and sweet. We had a couple issues with food (my sister is 8 months pregnant) and she gave us no problems with making adjustments. She didn’t make my sister feel bad about not liking a dish. We will be coming back!! Thanks again Akilah we love you girl!!!! I had the bang bang shrimp and the steak and lobster with the garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Everything was cooked to perfection!! It was a great night all around!!
We went on Wednesday for the special on bang bang shrimp appetizers. They never disappoint! The salads were crisp and made to order as neither of us eats onion or cucumber, and prefers dressing on the side. Happy hour have is very inexpensive but good cocktail prices on a new summery one, and the house white was also nice. You cant beat Bonefish for food, flavor and friendly knowledgeable servers
Bonefish grill is a wonderful restaurant, with excellent food and great ambiance. But, now they put a little table tent on the table with scanblocks to retrieve a menu on your smartphone. Why? That takes away from all the aforementioned praises I gave.1) Not everyone has a smartphone2) Most people go out to a restaurant to enjoy and relax, not to take out a cellphone.
It was ok. They were out of 2 of the items I wanted. The main course of the dish was good and they got one of my sides and my husbands sides confused. No biggie we just switched. But for some reason, they just assumed what hubby would like as a side after they discovered they were out of one of his sides. So that makes a total of 3 things they were out of.Ok look, its not like this isnt a chain restaurant. Shouldnt they have a shipment in before now?2nd, its FRIDAY at lunch. Shouldnt you have that? Especially with it being Friday?3rd, theres a Publix grocery store across the parking lot, drive over there and get some supplies. Surely Publix has asparagus and jasmine rice. Ill give them a break on the tuna. But being out of 2 sides on a Friday? Thats just not normal.
This is a chain, one that I always enjoy. The food was delicious, and the service was top notch. So why only three stars? Because it was so cold in the restaurant we couldnt enjoy the meal. As soon as we walked in we knew it was going to be to cold. Not just cooler than your house so the servers dont sweat cold, but where are my mittens? cold. My guess it was in the low sixties in the restaurant.
Nice ambiance and selection of entrees... However, our food quality was not that good at the last visit. The fish was not flavor filled and the steak we ordered was overcooked. This was a during the week visit and they were not that busy. We expected the overall quality to be better.
Really nice white table restaurantwith a relaxed atmosphere. Casual dress is fine for a nice lunch. The food was great. We ordered the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer which was very good. The blackened salmon pasta and the mahi mahi w/shrimp were also very good. The service was a bit slow but the restaurant was busy. No more than a 20 minute wait for food. Otherwise very good.
The rainbow trout was delicious! The food overall was great, but the staff service was horrible today! I was brought here for my birthday lunch (3 of us). There were five other tables being served. It was not busy today and there seemed to be adequate staff so I’m not sure why service was so slack. We had two different servers showing up on and off to our table, but the main young lady was slow. Took us over 7 minutes and multiple attempts to get her attention just to get a refill, someone else came to actually refill the drink and accidentally took the straw, which took us another 5 minutes to get anyone’s attention to ask for a straw. I assume it was the manager, but she didn’t seem to be phased by the diners. She wasn’t paying attention (neither was her staff) she wasn’t going around to table to see how things were going, all of them seemed to stay preoccupied with the back kitchen area instead of paying attention to their tables. Our visit was about 90 minutes eating and talking. The waitress never came to clear the table once she brought the check, ask for drink refill or ask if we would like a to go drink. Not sure what was going on today, but for the prices and establishment upholding... I will say today was an awful representation of how this restaurant usually operates.
I got my order Door Dashed. I ordered a sprite but really just wanted a couple waters in place of it but there was no option on the menu. I called to have it adjusted and Rebecca picked up. Her customer service skills were terrible and she kept cutting me off as I spoke. She was also having side convos while I was on the phone. When my order came, there were no drinks at all.I ordered the Salmon which was very dry and the mashed potatoes were extremely salty. I got a kids popcorn shrimp which were very large in size but were very greasy and came with no sauce. As a visitor to this city, i wouldnt order out for this place. Seems best to dine in or pick-up yourself.
Nice! atmosphere my friend and I usually go there on Fridays for the martinis but I actually on this occasion went with a friend to brunch and we were the first ones there so we had that one-on-one attention it was nice my food was great and so was hers I had the boom boom shrimp and she had the boom boom shrimp on an egg Benedict. Our waitress was very attentive and my overall experience was great. I will be back!!!!
Vastly overcooked fish, a seafood restaurant that ran out of cocktail sauce (which the server neglected to mention prior to ordering), cold potatoes, unexpected and unmentioned upcharges. Used to quite enjoy this place, but I basically just paid 60 dollars for fish the consistency and texture of canned albacore so...good luck, hope your experience is better than ours.
Food took forever to get and it was not that busy. Mashed potatoes had a burnt taste to them and cold, Mac and cheese was also cold along with the jasmine rice and green beans. The only thing that was actually hot was the steak. Manager came and said sorry and said if we wanted dessert it would be in the house. Second serving of mashed was also burnt tasting and she said she would open a fresh bag if I wanted, I guess potatoes are not made from scratch. Very disappointed especially for a known place like Bonefish.
Food is not bad, the price is not cheap at all. Environment is good, service is not bad. But overall, I dont really believe it worth the price that its asking. We have tons of seafood places in Savannah. Bonefish is just a typical American seafood at a steep price. I gave it 4 star just because of the environment
This was our first visit to Bonefish and we loved it! We were celebrating an anniversary and our waiter was very attentive. The food was a bit pricey but not overly so. I had she-crab soup and fish tacos. They were so good! My husband had the crab stuffed flounder, also excellent. They brought bread and oil with spices to the table first. Would definitely return.
Consistently good food and service. This location feels like a neighborhood restaurant and always attracts a crowd. Very attentive to allergy requirements and willing to work with you to create a meal conforming to these needs. Dont miss the signature Bang Bang Shrimp - theyre amazing!
150$ worth of food just missing with Uber eats. Start taking it out of ur pockets and maybe youll do better business but this is the world yall want...sad! U dont know if this was for a starving family or anything just selfish poor customer service with no checks and balances like everything else in Savannah just sad...
Thei bang bang shrimp is on point (like always) theyre addicting! For amin entrée, I had spicy tuna bowl. It was okay, the tuna itself is cooked good, the sauces that came with it was also good, but theyre a bit odd together. Also, it was not spicy at all! But I guess my Asian tongue just expects too much
This place provides a very pleasant & classic atmosphere. The food was delicious. They had unique food combinations to choose from. The staff was friendly & attentive. We had minor issues and our waiter was quick to address our concerns & fixed them without delay. It was my first meal here & I look forward to my return.
Ehhh Should have ordered to go! Tonight’s Dine in service was ridiculously slow. Drinks came fast which is a plus (kinda weak) but they came.Food service took over 40 minutes. Want an expedient service order pick up. 15 Jan 2021/20:57-22:13 that is freaking slow. For one person.
What can I say!? This restaurant is the best of the best! The service is the best part! I didnt have a reservation and needed to surprise my wife for her birthday and they made it happen at the drop of a pin! They went out of their way! The food was delicious, drinks were on point and Ill always choose Tic Toc Room First!
My son and his wife took me there for Mothers day and it was so absolutely perfect. We sat in the bar area and had our meal. The service was great and the food was awesome! I cant wait to go again. Also, the ambience was perfect! Nice music but not too loud and the air was perfect. Very nice place to relax!
I went to Bonefish on an impromptu date with a friend. There was a bit of a wait to be seated, so we went to the bar, the drinks were on point and our waitress was also quiet pleasant and knowledgeable. The food was ok, I ordered trout which was fall-off-the-bone-melt-in-your-mouth-tender but it was flavorless past the skin. What to do? Well here is what I did, I took every bite with my mashed potatoes which were super good! And that helped, in addition I had great chats with my date lol!
We called and reserved seating for 16 and it took forever to get salad, entree and dont even ask about our desert. The food was amazing, but the time it took was horrible. An hour and a half is just awful for food. Then the check was wrong for multiple people in our party and that took another 20 minutes. Im not happy, we got here at 7 and at 9:51 our checks were finally fixed. I live in Clyo and definitely will not be coming back for the slowness of this. Not worth it. So much for a nice night out with the girls itll be 11:30 before I can get home that this rate.
The hostess and waitress attention was incredibly hospitable. The food cooked to perfection. A Creme Brulee with the combination of chocolate, unsweetened whip cream, and the caramelized sugar on top, balanced the ever so sweet dessert to a decadent exquisite Creme Brulee. The salmon was seasoned to an awesome flavor. Cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes were delicious and the asparagus really flavorful. Great restaurant. First class. 🎉
The food was absolutely fantastic. But our waiter Adrian was above and beyond. He was the most friendly and attentive waiter I have ever had at any establishment I have dined at, not to mention his amazing smile brought a smile to everyones face at the table. I came in hungry, but I feel like I left with a new friend. We will be back soon!
Ill start out by saying, I love their bread and pesto! My meals however have just been okay. I ordered crab cakes one time and they tasted like fish sticks. Ive had several different entrees and havent been thrilled by any of them. Thoroughly enjoyed their slice of pie for dessert, however!
This place is really intimate. Great place for date night. The food was amazing. My wifes salmon wasnt cooked as long as she would have liked so they put another piece on the grill and surprised us with a well done piece. The staff here are extremely thoughtful. Thank you so much John. You were amazing.
Amazing bar staff. You have to try the smokey old fashioned of you are into them. Great wine selection. Amazing king crab especially at that price! Scallops which are easy to ruin are always on point. Litterally ate here every day bec I could walk from my hotel. Didnt need to go anywhere else.
My husband and I went in today for lunch for our first visit. The atmosphere was very warm and settling. The place was very nice romantic and very well decorated. The menu prices were a bit expensive for my pocket range, but the food was very good. Im a huge fan of lemonade so I ordered that as my drink. When I tell you I wanted to kiss the person who made this lemonade. Ah man! It was so good the best in Savannah if you ask me. Our waiter was very nice and professional I actually didnt think she was our waiter I thought she was the cook lol. Overall I enjoyed the place as a whole but I have to get my money right before going back although I wouldnt mind getting some more of that great lemonade though.
Great restaurant. We had the dinner for two with a great appetizer of hot shrimp covered in a spicy sauce on a bed of lettuce. That was followed by a caesar salad for me and a house salad for her. Then the tray of rice and potato salad arrived with the tray of salmon, tuna, another white fish, and scallop/tuna skewer.Served expertly by a wonderful server who was attentive to our needs.
My husband I came into bonefish tonight and had a awesome experience. With everything going on with COVID they are very clean and respectful of the rules. We had Maxine as our waitress and let me tell you...she is THE BEST!! She was very attentive and kept our glasses refilled. (That is a big thing with us). She also recommended certain entrees that were awesome. The Manager Kelly came over and checked on us as well throughout our visit and was awesome. They even knew it was my birthday and wished me a happy birthday. I highly recommend this bonefish! We will definitely be back soon and hope to see these 2 great ladies in here!!
By far the worst food I have eaten. We ordered from DoorDash . I ordered fish tacos with no tomatoes and side of vegetable and salad. Well no dressing came with the side salad. No vegetables came with meal and the tacos were over done and the fish did not taste good at all. It also came with tomatoes on top of it. My husband ordered steak medium rare and it was RARE to the point he couldn’t even eat it. His crab cake was not cooked well. He also ordered a side Cesar salad and the dressing didn’t taste like anything. For the money we spent this was the worst and WILL never go again.
I took my family (Wife, Mother, Mother-in-Law, and Father) to this establishment for Saturday evenings, Mothers Day donner. The ambiance of the restaurant is good. However, after placing our drink orders, and meal orders, we noticed a HUGE ROACH on the wall nearest an emergency exit. The manager came over and profusely apologized. Yet, the experience and expectation was ruined for the evening. Moreover, we discovered that the sanitation rating at this establishment was, perhaps still is, an 83.Though our meal was compd, the thought of eating here again absolutely repulses me. To be clear, I like Bonefish Grill, as a chain. Yet, this location left a lot to be desired. Our server also seemed less disinterested with our service once the decision to comp our meal was made. Our experience may be a one-off incident, and my post should not be an indictment of this business. HOWEVER, this was my experience, and this is now my impression of the Bone Fish Grill Group.
Hostess is always extremely nice, waitresses as well. The biggest turn off is it’s unkept inside and out side. The grounds and floor could use some sweeping, bits of paper and bits of food is not very appetizing and doesn’t take much effort to maintain. The food is lacking in consistency, always hit and miss.
Nice place, professional service. We were lucky and caught the daily happy hour from 4:00 PM until 6:30 PM. We sat at the bar and had the happy hour meal options and really enjoyed the beef sliders (little burgers) $6.00, the cod sliders were a little too busy $6.00. Draft Bud light pint $2.90 and house wine $4.00. Enjoyed a Caesar and a wedge salad, as well.
My visit in Savannah,ga was terrible the service ( the food came out plate by plate over ) and the smell of the restrooms was ughhhh... Terrible terrible service and plus no hair net worn in the kitchen smh.... Never again would I come back! Currently waiting on a receipt for 15 minutes
Wonderful..my husband and I were seated immediately.. atmosphere was inviting and clean...waitress was very attentive..orders were taken quickly and food was delivered hot, and very timely..everything was delicious..we both had the salmon and the roasted brussel sprouts..it was cooked to perfection. This is our 3rd visit and its been great every time.
Our waitress was very rude once she realized our group was large and had a baby. She kept rushing us to order and never filled our drinks unless we asked for refills. We saw her roll her eyes at us when we were taking to long to order. Food was average but the service is what gives this place a two star.
Was told there was a 45 minute wait for a table despite there being several tables open. Ok theyre not available due to COVID restrictions, fair enough. So we were offered a spot at the bar instead. The bar seats were not scatter spaced like the tables. There were 3 of us but only 2 bar seats consecutively available. The host graciously offered we could ask the person in the middle of the bar ourselves. A little hypocritical to ask us to sit inches from strangers at the bar but not be permitted to sit in a partitioned boothed table thats next to a table in use. I get that those were probably the technical legal allowances per the city of Savannah at the time but it felt wrong. We chose to wait for the table.
This place has absolutely the best staff I ever came in contact with. The food is out of this world. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is to your likingThere is no doubt in my mind that my girlfriend and I will return to enjoy some more of your fabulous food and wonderful staff. Thank you so much for contributing to a wonderful evening for us

2021-11-10Debating between one star vs. two stars.. Service is good, as for the dishes it did not live up to expectation. The crab fries were good and thats about it. Steak, premium sides were mediocre to bad. Mac-n-cheese Nd creamed spinach were not good. The martini was mediocre as well.. You can find better restaurants with similar prices offering better food. Management you have lots for work ahead to improve.

2022-06-03I was so excited to try this place but was highly disappointed and disasstified. The food was a huge let down. They are too expensive to be serving food that taste so bland and nasty.

2021-12-03COVID conscious staff, consistent thorough table sanitization between guests. Server Shae was phenomenal. Food & drinks exceeded expectations. Mid-day visit for belated bday meal was enjoyed by my partner & greatly appreciated by me. Pardon brevity of photos, but we could barely wait to dig on. Stuffed Cod w/creamed spinach & Steak w/grilled shrimp.

2021-07-29The hostess was polite - our waitress was attentive and a sweetheart. She suggested the perfect dry red wine for me ( she told me the name twice - I still forgot ) - this was my second visit to this particular location but a first for my kids. Well be back!

2022-05-09My family, and I went yesterday for Mother’s Day. I understand it being a little busier than usual, but to have to wait 1 1/2 hrs for our food was quite ridiculous. I was ready to go after 35 minutes, but my children’s father insisted we stay since this was my dinner choice for my day. I surely wish I would’ve pressed the issue a little more, and just picked up some fast food. When we asked what was taking so long, our server was pretty rude in his response. “Sorry for the delay, when I know y’all will know”, that’s pretty much the answer we got. Then we saw him whispering to the manager, who brings me over some beat up ugly flowers trying to smooth things over. What took us 1 1/2 hrs to wait for our food, only took us 3 minutes to eat once our food arrived. The steaks were very dry, under seasoned, and not cooked to order. My vegetable of choice was green beans, seemed like they just heated them up, because they were not cooked even the slightest bit, definitely raw veggies. The portion sizes were very small for the prices, the kids seemed to like their kids meals so I guess that was the only plus...but then again how can you mess up chicken tenders & Mac. At this point, there was no need in any more complaints, it was just time to pay & go. We definitely won’t be back!
