The staff was sub-par. They had little sitting for guests. Our waitress needed a day off very nonverbal it took us forever to eat. We had a 2yo so to say I wanted to scream where the heck happened customer service 😒. I will not be back there either. Our food was warm not hot. My coffee was in a to go cup. I wanted to go cook and prepare my own coffee and food.

Probably the best WH I have ever been to. Fully staffed with friendly workers. Food was served fast, hot and delicious. Manager came by to check on us halfway through.

Well walked in and was going to be a breakfast but three tables were there but not cleaned. Had not been wiped down with food particles on the table and seats. I guess the people thank there the only ones working now days.
Havent even ate my food yet but the cook thats working today Thursday at noon 4/22/21 is the reason for my review. You can see the pride and attention to detail she took in her job. Its a rarity these days so it should absolutely be acknowledged. Im sure the food will reflect that. Keep up the good work girl!

Very good breakfast all day 24-7 and the best service in Augusta Georgia. Everything was quick and hot the staff worked together as a team to be more efficient. Everyone was super friendly and made you feel at home.
Food has always been good. However, I probably wont be returning to this location. Went last Saturday, waitress looked at me as I walked in without saying a word. 10 minutes later she takes the order of someone who came after me. I finally asked if she could assist me after no initiative on her part. Needless to say I did not tip. 4 days later, I saw where she tipped HERSELF $5 from my card. I went and spoke with manager, he apologized for the confusion.That was not confusion, that was DECEPTION!
I swear Ive literally never seen such foolishness in my life. I waited over 30 minutes for an allstar meal, cheese steak omelet, and a pecan waffle. My server was nice but thats about all that was nice. Definitely my last time coming here.
I normally don’t have an issue here and I eat here rather frequently. But my last couple of visits including today, have been rather disappointing. I literally just left. My friend and I sat there about 15 minutes, and we were not even acknowledged. Not once. No one spoke. No one even bothered to at least take our drink order or say hey “ there might be a bit of a wait” or something. It wasn’t like the place was packed. And as we left, still no one acknowledged. People will always come I suppose, so it’s not like our business matters much🤷🏽♀️. We went to the Waffle House down the street and were greeted before we even made to a table. A little goes a long way.
This place does not like the answer the phone at 5 A.M. I grab Waffle House every day on the way to work and this location doesn’t like to pick up the phone. Parking lot empty when I pull up and server smoking a cig outside. Happens twice a week. On the bright side, the Chefs are always on point. Great food, not so great service.PS: I always tip the servers no matter what.
Lady cooked wrong food ignored me even after I told her she was making the wrong tbing.The ticket was exactly what I said but she was wrong.Then didnt want to fix the food right and wanted us to eat the wrong food!She was extremely nasty because after messing the food up 3times she still managed to get upset because I wouldnt eat the wrong food!!It was no one in there so waiting for over an hour is unacceptable. The attitude made it worst.
I mainly went in to order a meal after a night out at a couple of clubs. The staff was courteous, although pretty busy. But that is expected at the time that I was there since I wasnt the only person that stopped in to grab some food for the journey home after a night out of drinking, dancing, and socializing
Excellent food and we had a new waitress who has only been there 3 weeks and she is doing a great job already. The head chef/cook came and spoke and hes not only a good cook but a very nice person as well. Their is a kindness and openness at this particular waffle house that is hard to find in any house. Try this location and you most probably will agree.
Ive heard so much about the famous Waffle House for years that I had to give it a try. The price was expensive the menu was short and the food portions was small for the cost. I asked for a ham and cheese omelet and I was told that they didnt have it! Oh really? I asked the waitress this is a breakfast restaurant isnt it? The coney islands in Detroit are killing the Waffle House on prices and meal portions. A hungry man breakfast is under is under 7 bucks and 2 people can share 1 plate. You guys SUCK!!!!
Great food the cook Bobby is on his game, I also really enjoyed visiting with the waitresses and the staff my old lady is a waitress up here.
The first Waffle House turned us away for dining in, so I drove to this location and was welcomed with open arms, enthusiasm, and excellent service! The food was delicious.
I didn’t get her name but there was a Caucasian female with blonde hair that seated another group after me and my friend (night shift around 2am). Instead of starting a fuss, we simply requested that our order be taken first and she refused and stated that we should sit in a separate section despite the fact that there were no seats in that section. I typically don’t leave reviews because I honestly don’t care to call anyone out but this is the second time that I have had an issue with this location. They are either understaffed or staffed with the same worst of the worst and this is supposed to be a Waffle Home. Sad!

What can you say is waffle House. If you like waffle House then this will be a great experience with the food and with the lovely workers who will strike a conversation with you no matter how you feel which can be very heartwarming

This particular Waffle House struck me for its very friendly staff. I sat at the bar and was well taken care of. It could be just because I got there at a good time -- there were 10 staff and three customers. I think it was a shift change or something. But honestly, that speaks all the more highly for them. My initial waitress was off her shift while I was there for breakfast and she was just as full of smiles as the one who replaced her fresh for the morning.

Lovely staff here and the food was lovely as well. One of the best waffle houses Ive been too.. My eggs and bacon were cooked to order perfectly and the staff were very friendly. I left very happy :)Its been more than 35 years that we have visited Augusta...we arrived late the night before and in the morning we decided to give the Waffle House a try.
This Waffle House is not like any other I have visited. It was run entirely by? WOMEN. really talented, friendly, competent, engaged women. I was kind of sad to see that the regional manager was not also a woman. food = great (better than your usual waffle house and thats saying something) service = great cleanliness = sparkling friendliness and fun = TOP NOTCH.
We were greeted right away and the restaurant and restrooms were clean. Our waitress, Devin, was very pleasant and professional. Our food came quickly and everything was correct. I would come back to this location again and recommend to others.PS. This location had a new promotion. Kids eat free 2pm-9pm.
Stopped in to this wonderful Waffle House after a sad experience down the street at another restaurant. The staff here was so friendly and fun. My family had a great meal and conversation with the staff. I am from Ohio and yall made me feel like family.

I liked that we were acknowledged when we walked in and seated right away. Our food was good,but the service is really slow. I only got one refill on my coffee and there was only one other table occupied in the restaurant so overall if you want a quick hot meal that doesnt break the bank and its convenient location then its good to go
Good was great. Server struggled to get the price that was listed on the special and they forgot cheese in my eggs. Server and cook were friendly and warm. Food was great. Thought afterwards that I should have left more as a tip, I only left about 18% on a 8 dollar ticket which totaled ten dollars and they werent perfect but did an excellent job.

My food was great and my service was great, but I will never patron this particular location again. The manager, I assume, sat in the middle of the restaurant with the current staff congregated around him discussing the weekly specials. The manager was rude, vulgar, and borderline racist in describing the individuals that would order particular menu items. He made horrible remarks about our older generation and how they would come in no matter what the special was. This was completely disrespectful to the older couple currently in the restaurant. I have no tolerance for racism, agism, and other forms of discrimination and neither should anyone else!

Ah yes the Waffle House. A truly delightful place to visit and enjoy the exquisite cuisine and the general bonhomue that permeates and wafts around the establishment like an Edgar Cello Concerto. My only gentle criticism is that the food is not served on the finest bone China. Red iosa kicquitur.
This Waffle House is by far my favorite location. The atmosphere is amazingly welcoming and everyone is so friendly. A great place to eat. The service was perfection and the food was even better. I really cannot recommend this place enough. Please, if yøu are in the area stop by and see for yourself.
The service was good. Ms. Sandi was spot on. The food was good and came quickly. Get there early on Sunday. At 830 or so it blows up. We managed to walk right in and sit down. 30 minutes later and people were waiting.You have to be a little cautious ordering the hashbrowns scattered well. They scatter them well and cook them very well. Was more like a big brown lattice potato chip than hashbrowns. Otherwise, everything else was spot on.One other thing. Ive found if you really want a shot at a robust cup of coffee, order the dark roast. Yes. Waffle House has dark roast coffee.

We visited on Christmas Day and it was great! As a former WH employee, holidays are hectic, so whoever the manager of this store is rocks!!!! It was well staffed and the communication and fluidity of the team was Awesome 👌
My go to meal whenever I go to is a pecan waffle with country ham. I really hate I didnt snap my photo before I ate. Not only was it the most beautiful waffle that has been prepared for me so far it was also the best tasting Ive ever had. My hat goes off to the cook. He should definitely be wearing the master cook hat at all times. Job well done!!!!
This one actually has a keto breakfast that is 3 eggs and 3 bacon or sausage patties plus your drink for $7.00. I think every WH should have this. It should be on the menu.
Speaking as a server myself for over 20 years I have yet to receive the type of service I provide until today. Naomi is amazing in more ways than one. Acting as a fly on the wall I witnessed her assist a majority of her coworkers in every way she could all while caring for her own customers. In speaking with the store management Johnattan I can see why his team is exceptional bc he himself is!
Very friendly staff.This rating was 9 months ago however as of my visit on June 29,2018 my view has changed drastically!! The waitress couldnt and wouldnt be bothered she was too busy flirting with a guy sitting at the counter. The cook however was very friendly to my husband and myself we visited around 9 or so in the evening. The cups were dirty, she took over 5 minutes to bring the drink to the table my husband kept trying to get her attention. The cook had to bring some of the food out himself while she chatted. Just very disappointing service.
Wonderful service today, I cant remember her name but she did a wonderful job and I made sure that I gave her a nice size tip.
An employee told people that went in before us they were closed, but had people inside eating. I guess they dont have to wear masks either. Not one single employee was wearing one. They even looked pretty upset that more people were coming in.
The service is amazing. The food is really good, and the cooks are really fast. Whenever we go, they are always polite and tidy, and we always feel welcome, whether it is at 6 am, 5 pm, or even 230 am.
Some people when theyre craving breakfast want something fancy, some people just want something tasty.When you come to Waffle House you know what youre going to get. No frills just plain good food at a great price. Great service with friendly staff.If youre hungry, I mean really hungry and want to spend under $10 on breakfast you could order hashbrowns and put an assortment of items to include sausage gravy, jalapeños, onions, mushrooms, chili, cheese, eggs, steak (as in cheese steak meat) and a few other things. Or you could get them all. Ive order a double order of hashbrowns with quite a few of those items ans believe me, I left beyond stuffed and I spent under $10. I didnt even need to eat anything else until dinner time.I would say if youre hungry and looking for something affordable definitely come here.
Extremely unprofessional. Had phones out while I ordered my meal everyone of the employees were playing games texting even talking on the phone cursing out loud to where I could hear across the room. Doing nothing but sitting down on their phones and while I tried to pay for my meal the person up front was finishing her text before ringing me up. Mess in the waffle maker and on the table wasn’t cleaned up there was work to do but it wasn’t being done. Nobody was there but my friend and I and there was a dirty cup next to me. The one sitting on her phone talking went outside and smoked for the 15-30 minutes I was there

WH is a road-food guilty pleasure of ours... I dont mention it much because most franchises are operated by owners that dont care, which leads to unhappy staff that also dont care. This one was very different. We were greeted cheerily, order taken promptly, staff were getting along, and our food came correct. Crazy that this isnt the norm, but it was a treat.

2021-10-02Diana was our waitress and she was absolutely great! We ordered BLT and All Star Breakfast. Food was served fast. Diana saw that the waffle was overcooked so she had them recook it. Fast, friendly, and probably the best food and service received from any Waffle House I have been too! Definitely recommend this location.

2021-07-13Three of us dined here for breakfast! Diane our waitress, was very attentive, friendly, keeping our glasses of water filled and ensuring all items were the way we ordered them. All three orders were cooked perfectly and came out quickly. Very friendly staff, including the tall cook who said hello when we walked in and even asked us if our food came out alright! That is what I call outstanding customer service!

2018-03-29Waffle House is pretty standard quality all over the Southeast. The third shift crew at this Waffle House is very efficient and they cook quickly and well. Ive never had a bad waffle here and I always call my order ahead so I can pick it up the moment I arrive. The food is what you expect but its great especially for those late night meals.

2021-10-12Great customer service. The staff was super friendly. The restaurant was clean and sanitized. Tee-tee was amazing at her job. My daughter was in a bad mood and before we left tee-tee had her smiling. The food was prepared correctly and received in a timely matter. One of the nicest waffle house I have visited this past year. Great job guys. Keep up the great work.

2021-12-05Ive ordered eggs over medium there at least 5 times and even explained that I didnt want my eggs runny. Each time I was given eggs over easy, barely cooked. Then I was told, Oh! you wanted your eggs over medium- hard. There is no such thing. People in Augusta make up words and phrases that make others appear to be in the wrong. Three times I was given a dirty coffee mug, the last time I didnt know that the mug was dirty until I drank over half of the cup and threw the mug on the table, disgusted that I was drinking the caked on food of others. I complained and a waitress tried to start a fight as if the dirty mug was my fault. Talking to people there is nothing more than talking to living, heavely breathing idiots. Why did I go back? The hotel is across the street and I have been to every restaurant in a half mile radius and nothing but burnt food, cold food, mispriced food and a fat waitressat the oyster joint eating from my plate before they brought it to me. And like Augusta, this Waffle House is somewhere where I will never go again.
