Call this places several times, no answer! I was trying to call my order in before I went up there. Went up there after no pick up from the phone service... nobody in there but the workers but why they not answering the phone I have no idea.. Should be Zero stars, waitress got no tip. Worst experience i have ever had at a Waffle House. I made a serious mistake going there right before shift change. Was treated like i was a bother to the waitress and cook. waitress Casey had the personality of a rock and walked around like she was either high on drugs or very very tired but for her young age, a eight hour shift should have been no problem. The coffee was cold, had to ask them to make a new pot, my wife had to wipe off our table from the previous customer, Casey did not come around and ask if we needed anything and if our meal was OK , which by the way she got wrong or the cook just did whatever wanted. Casey was telling people the grill was closed and they were leaving, should have told them of the shift change and the grill just needed to be cleaned and give the customer the option to wait or leave. Never never turn away a paying customer. Even though the order was wrong the food tasted good. Had to ask twice for a to go box and it took forever to pay the bill, had to wait for someone from the next shift to take care of us. The girl from the third shift did apologize for the problems though she did not cause the issues. One of the waitress had a ribbon on stating it was her birthday expecting extra tips that we thought was very tasteless. I think the staff needs a refresher course in customer service.
No matter what every so often I have to eat at waffle House. I guess its a southern staple not all that good but not that bad. Grits were a little runny but the eggs and bacon were good in a couple of months Ill go back again thats just the way it is
They were not hospitable, food and drinks on the floor. Grits had golfballs size lumps and they were cold. eggs greasy, hash browns greasy. waffles awful.
Great food, good service. The steak is so much smaller in real life compared to the picture but hey, for what it was... it was great. The service was awesome. Attentive waitress. Will recommend if you are passing through or want a late breakfast.The coffee was better than I expected, and I am a snobby coffee drinker.

Runny Grits and burnt toast. No coffee refills and a disappearing waitress with a bad demeanor. I know for sure that yesterday, they had a $1100 sales day cause it was shouted out for all to hear.
Haven’t been to this WH in a while as I usually go to the WH off Belair and Cox rd. I was in the vicinity for personal reasons. Walked in, sat at the counter and got no greeting. When I asked about the greeting, waitress said there’s only two of us. Later I watched my plate sitting and getting cold before it was brought to me. The grits portion was unusually small. I also watched another larger order sitting ready to deliver getting cold. The waitresses were busy talking with another customer who may have been a waitress off duty. Also did not see the WH store number on the wall. These folks need to be retrained, reprimanded or let go. I am familiar with the restaurant business and know what to expect from servers. WH deserves better.
Clean, friendly and the best food I have ever been served at.a Waffle House. Cook was good at cooking and he was very kind.
Would not recommend this place first tried sweet tea it was soured. Then tried coffee the cups were dirty and when said something to waitress she claims they were stained. I have never been able to wipe a stain off until today. When you can wipe the brown off the inside of the cup that is not a stain!!
Absolutely the worst experience ever. Our waiteress Erin provided the worst customer service ever. My son was given very moldy toast with his breakfast and I was not pleased. It seemed like a major inconvenience to have this revolved. And, she couldnt seem to understand why I didnt think I should pay full price for his meal. Disappointing to say the least.

This is the laziest Waffle House Ive ever been to. They only have half of the stores seating available because the servers are too sorry to serve an entire restaurant of. As a former Waffle House employee I have ran an entire store full of people by myself, I dont understand why these sorry waitresses cannot wait on half of a restaurant by themselves. It is only a few tables

I left my debit card there the night before and didnt realize it till the next morning. They were good enough to hold it for me until I was able to get by to pick it up the next day. Very kind and courteous employees. The food is pretty good too.
The waitress was nice, but never offered to refill my coffee cup. All the food was cold..waffle, sausage, eggs, toast, and grits. We have eaten at many Waffle Houses and have never had this experience before. They were not busy so I really dont understand.

Friendly and polite staff. Our order was prepared and no time. My bacon was cooked to perfection, the bread with fresh. I so appreciate fresh bread I am a bread lover. The same welcoming smile that greeted us as we entered the restaurant welcome to us to come back for another visit.
Tea was sour, coffe mugs were unwashed..when this was brought to the waitresss attention, she claimed they were stained.....last I checked, you cant wipe off stains..right?Needless to say, this location is off my radar, no more stops at this location! ✌

No drink refill, hashbrowns were cold, only thing good was my chili. The biscuit and gravy had huge chunks of sausage in it. Waitress disappeared on us. Will not go back to that location.
Solid southern breakfast and extremely friendly staff. This was my first time at a Waffle House, and I will definitely be back to try loaded hashbrowns. Be careful with the portions, they are humongous. You absolutely must have the cheese grits and load them up with Tabasco. Lit.
This waffle is getting worse and worse . Im really going to stop coming here for breakfast . Got raw Scrabble eggs this morning and uncooked hashbrown. The restaurant is dirty and smells from not being cleaned u could see the food all over the floor. I worked for waffle House for 7 yrs. And got to say this one is bad . They need some mangers that care about there store.
Food is custom prepared; You watch the staff prepare your order. No complaints with food freshness or taste. But there is a lot of noise; Waitresses shouting orders, customers talking (the restaurant is small, enclosed). Also, the room is usually cold; Temperature is set to accommodate the cook...
Food was awful... All Star Breakfast....burnt waffle, uncooked hash browns and onions large uncooked chunks, dirty coffee cup. Waitress was accommodating offered to replace waffle and hash browns and gave grits. Replacement hash browns were original hash browns served but this time burnt... third replacement hash browns were ok but came at the end of the meal. Totally unsatisfied. Will not return and will share this experience with others on my blog.
Food was delicious, but alas there was a hair. Probably didnt help they werent wearing hair nets. The cook was awesome, the server I had was great even though she seemed down. And they seemed a little undermanned at the time. 3 workers for a place almost half full.

Theres a guy who cooks at this particular WH that has to be their very VERY best cook ever!!I dont know his name but he has dreadlocks and is a tall brother. His chef-game is seriously on point!! Love this waffle house. Fast service, very friendly and always great food. It is hard nowadays to find a complete meal for under $10 that you can get in-and-out in under 30 minutes and they prepare it when you order it.
Staff is awesome. Cooks are awesome and know how to prepare the food. Always greeted and taken care of. Would recommend anyone who is traveling to stop in they are right off the interstate.
I have eaten at Waffle House for many years and the food has for the most part always been good and the waitresses we friendly. However, Tonite the service was fantastic . Alise is the best waitress I have ever seen. The grill operator , Michael is fast and the order was cooked to perfection. I have never had a better tasting burger from waffle House in all of the years Ive been eating at WH. Juicy and tasty, not dry, burnt or bland. WH should recognize how lucky they are to have these two employees. I recommend eating here on 3rd shift to anyone and I definitely will be coming here for my late night meals. No more steak and shake for me.
Service good and friendly. But, outside is nasty, lots of trash around the building. Floor in cooking area needs repair, surprised that they havent had accidents, tile coming up and uneven. We were in a hurry and had gassed up next door or we would have gone elsewhere based on the conditions. Services made up for it.
Lady told me straight to my face that they crank the AC on full blast to get rid of customers. I had already ordered, so I just ate in the parking lot. It was warmer outside.

Mostly alot of waffle houses server you amazing food that are just right,but this one isnt any of them. They dont ask you if you want a refill, they dont pick up your plate just so it wont be in the way, they forget parts of you food or they mistaken your food with somebody else the main promblem in this one specific restruant here at Augusta is that they depend on their memorie to often and its good what so ever. This restraunt confuse your food very often, they forget to put some extra things that wanted on your food, hashbrowns are usally burnt and very crunchy, the staff there keeps forgetting what to do and usally walks back and foward which means they have no idea what there doing. I get the point this restruant is usally busy in the morning but their orders are always mix up, and you want to know why? Its because they DEPEND to much of their memorie instead of writting it down on a piece of paper. And i know im not the only one that has this promblem many people have these type of experinse as well. I dont blame the manager for this, i blame the people he/she hired to work that place. If you read this and took this seriously i thank you~M

I usually get take out a lot here, and lately nobody answers the phone. When you come up here everyone’s just standing around talking. I even came in tonight and ordered my food and just called while I was waiting and watched them just listen to the phone ring. After tonight they won’t get my service anymore.
Im from New York & I was very surprised to see customers coming in for a food pick up & were not wearing masks. GA is a little too relaxed during the pandemic especially since corona is spiking here.

This Waffle House was the worst experience I’ve had the whole time I was there yesterday one of the workers (I think her name was Lindsey) was talking about the virus non stop and had an attitude with the customers. The Cook Famous Eddie cooks Waffle House Steak like no other. Best sirloin and eggs Ive had on the entire east coast. The whole crew is TOP NOTCH. This my friends is the Old School Waffle House. 👍👍👍👍👍
We stopped in for breakfast husband ordered the All American with waffle . The waffle was thin as a newspaper and so was the hash browns.. Ridiculous ! For 20.00 it isnt worth it.. Come on waffle house... We love coming but not if everything is going to shrink in size..
Usually a good place but Mike the cook is terrible and slow took an hour to get food right, Honey uses work as a day care when get there tables are dirty with dishes always.Dont recomend eating there when these two are working,we wont.

I have been going to this location every morning for quite sometime,this morning and yesterday a new cook was there ,he is discurtious,rude,lazy ,takes short cuts on his work that produce a lower standard of food and an all around smartass. Waiting staff is great i would fire the cook !! I wont be back due to this man.
Waffle houses are fairly common but I have enjoyed this waffle House for its hospitality and service. The morning crew on the weekends does a fabulous job and takes care of its customers.

This location is normally pretty good, however thos visit the cook was off. The waffles were as thin as a pancake, food was burned and then served cold.
Maybe its me, but I am not a fan of obnoxious music, subpar waffles and bad coffee. Maybe other locations are better or maybe you just have to be drinking to appreciate it.

2022-01-25It is a chain, but this was much better then other establishments we have visited before. The staff was awesome! Sarah was great with smallish human, who said the chocolate chip waffle and bacon was scrumptious. Solid like it and it was fast from hubbs.

2020-01-14Got the hashbrown bowl. Very good. Good service too.One thing I dont like is Waffle House frowns on concealed carry. The manager did assure me that if someone came in and started shooting, the police would be there in 15 minutes or less.

2022-01-24So yup I am going to say it , they put to much gravey on the biscuits. Like drowned them..... but my kids love the waffles and my son thought it was the best place on earth. They staff was very nice even though my twins were noisy and a handful .

2022-02-27Unfortunately I stood in the line 30 minutes to place a to go order for someone at the back of the line to be serviced before my husband and I. Once I educate the lady we were in line as well instead of just apologizing she stated “I’m just one person”. When you are working on tips being nasty to people you will not make money. My husband was so mad, we just left. I refuse to spend my money somewhere that will be bias and races towards me. Not one person of color working in the establishment.Always remember you never know who you may come in contact with. Your business is based on service of the customer and if you don’t want that job someone else does.

2021-12-012021-11: Came in late night to order some take out. Nothing overwhelmingly awesome or disappointing. Clean store, employees were decent enough.2017: Late night eats with a friend. Our server was okay. She forgot some things but her personality made up for it. She was having a rough night and was genuinely apologetic for forgetting to bring us another OJ and leaving out part of our order. I think she would have done a great job had the place not been swamped and adequately staffed.

She snapped us off multiple times before we could even sit down until I finally lost my patience. We exchanged words & I asked for the manager. I explained the situation while she continued to run her mouth behind him & I asked if he could just get us a different waitress. He stated he couldnt just take her table from her so we gathered our stuff & kids & left. Will never eat there again. Rude staff & incompetent management will ruin a meal fast. Highly recommend choosing a different location.

2022-03-19We ordered tge “big breakfast” and hasbriwnss with tomatoes … we got no hashbrowns & no tomatoes …. But we paid for all this “extra” …. Now I gotta eat some grits .. maybe???
