We love working with the staff at Browns. The whole experience has been great. They are all very professional, but they also make you feel right at home. We usually talk with Brandy when we go to the store, she is very knowledgeable about everything pools. Not to mention she is always smiling and happy to see us walk through the door.Caleb and his crew installed our pool. They work quick, and are very meticulous about their attention to detail. They installed a 32 round pool for us and had everything done in 1 day!!! The electrician was out and had our pool circulating water soon after the installation was complete. We are very pleased with Browns pools and spas and will continue to do business with them.
I bought a Bullfrog spa from Browns in December 2019.The spa had several issues including the wifi not connecting, the safety clips that hold the cover closed, so small children can’t fall in we’re broken ( my grandson was found leaning over the open, unattended spa)!And one seat has no flow out of the jets.It took many, many emails and calls to get Browns to even respond! Finally after months they sent out a tech and he figured out the Wi-Fi.I finally emailed the owner of the company directly and I soon had several people calling me saying they were so sorry. Yet nothing was actually done to fix the spa!Now just 13 months later I have two control switches broken, one light inoperable, two original cover hold down clips broken, the waterfall hold down clip broken, the front control panel is delaminating,I bought a nearly $13,000 spa from Browns and have had nothing but frustration from them!Don’t expect any warranty items to be fixed, not to mention even having everything working on initial setup.Mark spainierPeachtree city GA
I purchased my Bullfrog spa from Caroline at Browns Pools and Spas. Caroline invited me to the store, prior to my purchase, to try out the hot tub. I spent almost two hours trying out the different JetPak options and Caroline was very patient with me and answered all my questions thoroughly. The Bullfrog spa is absolutely amazing. If it were not for Caroline, I doubt I would have driven 50 miles to their store...It was well worth my time and very informative. I never felt pressured to purchase. If youre considering a spa, I highly recommend Caroline with Browns Pools and Spas.
I bought a Bull Frog Spa from Browns and the manager Caroline was beyond awesome! She was so helpful and customer focused that I also use them to test my pool water even though I did not purchase my pool from Browns. Caroline and her staff have always been very helpful, inviting, and never hesitate to take the time to educate their customers regardless how busy they may be at the time. I am very surprised to read a review that they are not friendly to any particular race because I have never experienced this and because of my ethnicity I always felt that the environment was very inclusive. I always leave there knowing that I am in good hands, as well as a big smile on my face after speaking with Caroline or any of her staff. Great staff and I will continue to patronize Browns Pools.
Browns is my go to for keeping my pool in top shape. The staff always goes the extra mile to make sure my needs are met and their hours are very convenient. The Manager, Caroline, is so helpful and knowledgeable. I appreciate her willingness to consider my budget when making recommendations. Keeping a pool looking good can get expensive if you dont have the right people advising you. Browns ALWAYS has everything in stock and the store is organized and clean. Im impressed how well they manage visit times considering how busy they are in the warm months.
I have used Browns pools for quite some time now. I pass several pool supply stores on my my to Browns and that is because the service is outstanding. This past Saturday I was in need of pool supplies and didn’t realize they closed at 5:00. I called the store hoping someone would stay to help. I was quite delighted that Caroline was more than happy to wait until I got there. Great staff wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Paid 39,000 for low quality work and bad attitudes. My loan was 39,000 and Browns was supposed to return the difference at the end but they never did. I have ridges in the concrete under my liner which is damaging the liner, cracks in the concrete decking around the stairs, mud clods right under the surface of the concrete. They dont care and ignore me. The building process was horrible. Employees were rude and did not listen to what I wanted. They say they have a warranty but when it came time, I was told they cant warranty if Im not buying my chemicals from them. There are more things I could tell you about but I dont want to write a book. Horrible!
We had ordered a Bullfrog hot from Leisure Lifestyles of Columbus. BIG MISTAKE. Nothing but lies an never got our hot tub. Went to Browns pools and spas an the customer service was excellent. Caroline our customer service lady answered all our questions an was very knowledgeable about everything. We received our new hot tub when she said we would an have been very pleased with it. I would definitely recommend them.
The best pool supply retailer ever. They treat everyone right regardless of race creed or color. If you have a problem let them know and they will fix it for you. I am going on 3 years with this store and it is always worth the drive from Jonesboro Ga to get my pool chemicals right. They keep your pool looking good on a budget. They treat everyone right. Please stop by and see them and you will not be disappointed. Thank you so much manager Caroline there is not a problem she can’t fix. I pass so many pool supplies stores to get to this one and I don’t want to go no where else.
After talking with several other spa dealers, I decided to go with Browns Pools and Spas in Newnan, Georgia, due to the friendly, knowledgeable, Manager, Caroline Howton. She has continued to be helpful months after the sale. Im very pleased with Caroline and her staff.
I absolutely cannot recommend Browns Pool!!! Do not use them! We used them for the installation of our liner. The installation itself went fine. However the utter and complete lack of communication was horrible. I had to continually call to get any kind of information on timeline of when they would be out. We had to schedule a follow up service because after the installation our booster pump no longer worked (after they reconfigured the wiring prior to pool liner installation). After calling for over a week trying to get someone back out here to fix the pump, they never confirmed a day or time when a service person would come out. After scheduling with another pool company, Browns finally showed up without us knowing, while we were not at home and replaced our pump - leaving us with a bill for something we didnt authorize. We paid the bill (they did take off $50 after we complained b/c the other pool company had a $50 less service charge). The work they do seems to be ok, but the complete lack of communication is awful. They have so many different departments and teams that no one knows what the other is doing.
Weve had great service and and are very happy with Browns. Ask for Caroline, she goes out of her way to be available and is very responsive to us when we have questions as new pool owners. She is expert at prescribing the best solution to getting your water balanced and we couldnt be happier with the results. Highly reccomend.
Browns pool have been my go to store for everything I need with my pool. my family and I moved to Newnan last year and our new house had a. in ground pool. I had never had a pool before and didnt know a thing about maintaining it and using the equipment. Charlotte has for the last year and a half worked with me and tailored my pool and my abilities precisely to me and my pool. She always has my needs and budget in mind when it come to recommending chemicals, treatment, and equipment. as long as I live here I will forever be a customer of Browns.
I had a great buying experience at Browns Pools in Newnan. I recently bought the R7L Bullfrog spa and love it. I am a very happy customer! These two Girls Brandi and Caroline has always went out of their way to help me keep the cost of maintaining my pool to a bare minimum. I trust these 2 Girls with all my pool needs not to just to sale me a bunch chemicals every time I go in the store to have my water tested.Brandi and Caroline are also very professional and they have alot of knowledge about pools and spas. They have always taking the time with me on teaching me how to protect my vinyl pool liner from fading and brittle and wrinkling . Because their Care about their Customers after the installation of your pools. I had my pool for 5 years now, never had a problem with it. Had to leave home for a family emergency that ended up being an extensive absence from home AND OUR POOL! We were gone almost 3 months so you can imagine the shape that our swimming pool was in when we returned. I almost gave up and had the pool filled in! But we got lots of good help and recommendations from the staff at Browns pool there in Newnan. Without them I would have been lost and overwhelmed. As it is, we now have a blue swimming pool and are happy. We always, always go to Browns for our pool suggestions and for our water testing. They are friendly and knowledgeable and the best in town.
To be honest the only thing going for this Browns Pools is location. We have been a customer since they performed the installation going on 3 years this July. They are terribly understaffed and because of this waiting can be excessive. We have only bought chemicals through this location and were given documented instructions to which destroyed our liner which in turn cost us another $1200 to replace. Our original liner was less than 3 years old. My wife took off work to meet the installers only to find out the liner they brought was the wrong one. After a sample was taken of the damaged liner, Doughboy Pools said it was due to excessive chemicals being used. To sum it up, too much shock was used. Im thinking how is this possible since instructions were given at the time of chemicals being purchased. As I was told by their only consistent employee shock the hell out of it. So Doughboy wont stand behind their liner saying its my fault and Browns will not stand behind their instructions that caused deterioration. To make things even better, spoke to the head service guy, and he said, How can we be sure you followed our directions. We cant be held responsible for the outcome of our instructions. I would say employees are usually friendly but lack training, which falls back on the owner. I was told We dont give out Mr. Browns number, he has to call you. Well its been a month and counting.As to the response from the owner: completely 100% made up. Unbelievable, you obviously have us confused with someone else. We dont own a broken vacuum pole. I specifically called at the time of the hole noticed to find out about the warranty on the pool liner. Even the manufacturers response was excessive chemicals used. I would say visit Robert with Leslie Pools in Peachtree City for knowledgeable, friendly, fast service. Find it hard to believe that the CEO of a company would be so uniformed that he got us mixed up with another claim and also has only spoken with his employees. At what point does a company take responsibility for their employees recommendations.
I recently purchased my Bullfrog R6L hot tub from Browns Pools and Spa in Newnan. I visited two other competitors prior to going back to Browns Pools and Spas in Newnan. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. Brandi was especially helpful with guiding me on my first hot tub purchase. I also attended the home show in Atlanta where I looked at several different hot tubs on the market. You will not find a better built hot tub than the Bullfrog! I have had my hot tub over a month now and this has been the best purchase I have ever made.
Buyer beware!Browns pool and spa is very helpful when you want to buy their product, but after the sale, you become just another number. Phone calls are a challenge: the right person is hardly ever available and they take messages and make promises to call back, but in nearly ten years of dealing with them, their customer service track record has been completely unsatisfactory. The only reason I keep going back is because they are the only show in town and they know it. The hot tub I purchased from them is apparently unique. Cant get parts or service anywhere else. Buy from them and suffer the agony of their inability to follow up after the sale.
I bought a BullFrog A series hot tub. Brandi Kelly was the sales person that I worked with.Brandi was absolutely a down to earth, no pressure, pleasure to work with sales person. We went to Browns Pools first in mid summer then we researched hot tubs and went to about 6 others in the Metro area as far as North Gate Mall. We came back to Browns. The BullFrog spas are extremely highly rated and if there is a problem we liked the idea that Browns is local and has a in-house service department. The manager at the Newnan location, Caroline, very helpful and really accommodating with our unusual schedules. I would highly recommend Browns pool to friends and family alike.I have had the spa now for 4 days. I will update if needed.
I found them on the internet while searching info about Doughboy pools. The first person I spoke with was Brandi. She was very helpful and answered all of my questions. She was the reason I bought the pool from Browns Pools. The crew that installed the pool were fantastic. They did a great job. I hope the doughboy pool is as good as it advertises!Thank you Brandi and crew.
I always go to Browns pool in Carrollton & they go above & beyond. I stopped at the one in Newnan today was very dissatisfied. Was never greated by anyone. Walked around the store trying to find what I needed for a good 20 min. Finally had to hunt an associate down & she had no interest in trying to help me at all. Very poor customer service the associates are very rude & not knowledgeable on Any of there product.Will not visit again when in Newnan. Will try Leslies Pool next time.Love my Carrollton store.
Caroline and Brandi are absolutely the best. They are always ready to go the extra mile in the Newnan location. As soon as you walk in the door, even if they are busy, they say hello and state they’ll be right with you. They have a great team there in Newnan- the best I’ve dealt with - and I’ll continue to do business only with them.
My husband and I stopped at Browns to pick up a few Eggcessories. Jennifer Reese the sales associated was extremely helpful. She took time to answer our many questions and willingly offered Green Egg cooking tips. Great experience and we will be buying our Eggcessories at Browns because of the friendly and knowledgeable service we received from Ms. Reese.
Caroline Howton at Browns Pool in Newnan has been awesome. Ive been a three year returning customer now. I cant say enough about how she has been innovative is adapting our small Summer Wave pool. The pump & filter that came with the pool was lame. She showed how to adapt the pool with hot tub adapters and a small sand filter system. Im giving this 3 stars because maybe I caught them while they are really busy..... I put in a request online for a quote for an above ground pool and since I know nothing about pools and was hoping for them to give me some advice or ask me what Im looking for , give me ideas, anything really..... instead I recieved an email the next day prices start at $4800 installed. That was it

2022-02-04Our pool pump had stopped working which is a problem during winter freeze months. The technician was prompt, professional, and replaced the pump timely without issues.

2021-02-19Professionalism in regard to customer service over the phone should be greatly worked on. I experienced a sales associate who was very rude, shouting, and a terrible attitude. We had a great experience otherwise. Especially with the delivery of our spa. The manager also displayed a lack of customer caring and showed more interest in defending the associate rather than apologizing for the terrible experience. The delivery team and I discussed that a suggestion for the sales team would be helpful after our hot tub was delivered and our patio had a slight slope which stopped them from being able to complete the installation. They suggested we build a level deck and they may be able to come out again to help once it was level. We did this and I called the store to see if the delivery guys would be able to come by at some point and also give the sales team our suggestion to maybe have someone come out to see the location of the hot tub in future sales so make suggestions to the customer if something needed to be changed or fixed. This was a very casual and nice conversation. This is where the sales associate began defensively yelling over the phone about my suggestion and their manpower. I am very disappointed in their customer Interaction and hope they can do better in the future.

2021-09-11I bought a spa from them 1yr ago never had an issue with browns they have always helped me so here recently I have been in a hugh battle almost at war with them to get my hottub cover replaced due to the inside of it is rusting and puking out rust in my spa it was supposed to be handled 2mounth ago now I get no answer and getting to run around between 3 managers each blame each other issue still not resolved. Calling District manager in hopes we can resolve my issue for the sake of ur peace of mide never buy from this company pick a different dealer bullfrog is an amazing spa company just browns is a horrible dealer

2020-05-08Brandi and Caroline are the lovely ladies at Browns Pools Newnan. They are so welcoming and friendly every time I come into the store. I dont know how they do it, but they even remember me and all about my pool from previous visits.Brandi might have actual magical powers. Just by talking with me she was able to give me the correct products and instructions to turn my green algae ridden pool to a beautiful clear pool in no time.Caroline is an absolute treasure and a wealth of knowledge. Im convinced that she knows everything that there is to know about pools.It is a pleasure going into the store.

2021-03-08Avoid. Not a good business and extremely sketchy. Came here to purchase a new polaris pool cleaner. Price was $549. Also saw they had big green eggs so I purchased this too. They took $75 off and I bought some recommended accessories. While getting the grill, I looked over my receipt. I noticed they charged me $649, $100 more than the polaris listed price. I asked about it and the response was, well the price went up. They had another one with the price tag of $549. I assumed it was a mistake but went back over to double check I was right. They didnt agree to adjust it so I returned everything (~$2100 worth of products). I wont do business with these type of people and really think you should buy elsewhere. I hope management knows about these practices. Wont ever recommend and actually will warn others like I did when leaving the store.

2020-10-01I’ve been purchasing all my supplies from here for my pool and spa for quite a while. About a month ago, I had sent my wife to get a replacement basket for our pool. I told her to just take the old one in and show it to someone at the counter, and they would get her the right one. When she did this, the lady at the counter acted very put off, like my wife should have gotten it herself. I was surprised about this.Here I am a month later, and I go to get some normal supplies for my spa and pool. One of the items was not in stock, so I ask when they will be back in stock so I can get it. The young lady helping me asked what seemed to be a manager or more experienced lady. Zero effort to get me that info, just a shoulder shrug.I can buy the same item for a few bucks less on amazon, and have it shipped to my door for free. I choose to support a local business, but that ends today. These last two visits were very disappointing, as customer service seemed non existent.I understand that businesses can’t control items coming in, especially with all that is going on with Covid. No effort to give any information is controllable.I’m just one customer, no big deal, but customer service is a big deal if you want to compete with internet sales. Just my .02

2020-06-01I had an above pool put in last summer and Brandy could not have been more friendly and she even came out to my house to be sure everything was fine and to discuss any questions i had...now move forward to spring when i called to have my pool opened and get it started. once it was opened, 2 men came out to do something and my daughter came over and the men were in my backyard with a microwave plugged up to an extension cord i had out there on my patio and they were cooking their lunch, when i got home the pool was running but i noticed that the extension was plugged into the pool. when they put the pool in they had put a power box out there. when i woke up the next morning i saw that the cord was sparking and very hot. i unplugged it and call browns and they told me i would need to have an electrician come out. a friend who has a pool looked at it and saw that the power should come from the box,,,not the cord. i called browns back again and had to reschedule a week later. i called to complain and they said that i would have to talk with the general manager, Tim...i have left 3 messages and he still has not called me back. i then decided that these people were not for me as there was no communication. there is a little more but not worth writing about... i have never had such an experience with a company in all my 70 years.CONSUMER BEWARE.

2020-01-23A professional environment with quality goods and personnel. I purchased a Green Egg recently, and both Caroline and Brandi were extremely helpful. They are knowledgeable of the product, and helped me decide between the various units. I have shopped with them for several years, and based on their high level of customer service, I will continue. 2018-08-04I am so impressed with Brown’s Pools in Newnan, Georgia. Brandi (my associate) is absolutely wonderful. Actually, everyone there is great! Brandi answered all my questions and always went the extra mile to insure all of my needs were met. I have been going there every week to get my water tested since April. Everyone is always very professional and courteous. Yes, there are times when I have to wait because they are with other customers, but to me that is just good customer service to focus on each customer one at a time. I know I always appreciate it. If you’re looking for an associate who will go the extra mile, I would definitely recommend Brandi.
