Went to Budget to just simply look at cars. Next day I was signing papers! Mr. Booth was my salesperson and he was fantastic. I told him what I wanted to pay monthly and he got me a great car that I love. One thing I really liked about my experience is Mr. Booth was not a pushy salesman like the ones I ran into at other car dealerships. He talked me through the process and let me move at my own pace. Great car, great price, great salesman, and overall a great experience. Only thing I didn’t like was when Mr. Booth asked one of the service workers if the car was cleaned up, she replied “we haven’t even started on it yet” in a manner I found slightly rude but they did not take too long to get the car cleaned up. Overall best experience I’ve ever had buying a car and this is my sixth car. Definitely recommending!!!

My experience at Budget was one of the best experience that I have ever had. I had no idea who I was dealing with until I got ready to sign. I am an amputee and I live in Macon. So I had talked to Kolby he did all the leg work brought the car to me in Macon. The auto that Colby brought to me was everything he said it was. First, let me start off by saying how Great and professional Stephanie was during this process while i was purchasing my car. She was also very easy to talk to. I came in Monday evening wanting to purchase a dodge charger, she assisted me and showed me the vehicle, i was going to purchase the vehicle on Tuesday and she was off the next day i offered to come back Wednesday because I only wanted to deal with her but she assured me that I could come in on Tuesday and everything would be ready for me when I got there, she gaveme her cell number to call just in case i had any questions. when i came in on Tuesday, the car had been cleaned and detailed and all my paper work was printed out... she made this process so easy for me and i cant thank her enoughI would recommend Stephanie to anyone

I just purchased a car with Budget in the last 2 weeks and felt compelled to leave a review. I bought a beautiful low mileage Mercedes. From entering the car lot and being greeted I knew I made a good decision. My salesman Hunter was very knowledgeable and was not pushy whatsoever and the entire staff was extremely friendly. The car needed a minor repair and they took care of it immediately while providing a rental car free of charge. The entire buying experience was very easy and enjoyable. My wife and I went in not expecting much. Previous car buying experiences had been long and stressful, but when we arrived at the lot in Columbus, GA we were greeted by Reggie and instantly treated with respect and patience. We were allowed to test drive multiple vehicles till we were able to find the one that was the best fit for us. There was no pressure or hassle. We told them what we were able to pay and what we had in the way of a trade-in, which they valued at a much higher amount than expected. They made things work for us and what we needed. We will definitely be returning when the time comes ro make a new purchase.

The vehicle I purchased had overnight issues that was passed on to me as the consumer. Then the manager was very sarcastic asking me did I know that it was a used vehicle. Like do you sell new vehicles. I will never go there again and do not recommend them at all. The sale people are trying but they have a broken system.

Awesome customer service “salesman” but i didn’t have the truck for two months and the transmission went out. I didn’t purchase the warranty bc it was very low mileage allowed. I live in the country so we put miles on our vehicles! But for what I paid for the truck it should have lasted a lot longer then two months!! Lesson learned I won’t be doing business here anymore and I wouldn’t recommend any of my family or friends go here.
This was our first time buying from a dealership, and we were not sure if it was going to be the old school hagglingexperience or what. We had an appointment with CarMax that morning, but their cars are way overpriced, and when I saw what we wanted at Budget I cancelled CarMax and mande an appointment here. Im so glad we did! We got a better, newer vehicle at Budget for way cheaper, and our salesperson, Rodney, was so easy to work with. If youre looking for a no pressure buying experience, dont be afraid of Budget. CarMax offers no haggle/no pressure sales but youll pay at least $1,000 more for that when you could just go here and get what you want at a better price, and get the same treatment and service. Talk about a great buying experience!! I drove about 3 hours to see this very nice car I saw online at Budget car and truck sales in Columbus Georgia. I really didn’t know what to expect when I got there. Wasn’t sure about the car or the people I was going to deal with. Expect the worst but hope for the best. Well this was one of those days the stars were in alinement. The car was perfect and the people, I mean all the people there from the manager to the secretary’s were some of the friendliest people I have ever met. There customer service there is exceptional! Every sales person, manager or secretary if not busy with another customer would try to make you feel comfortable with your buying experience. That’s unheard of! My God brother and I had a great time just being around these nice people. Thanks guys, this is one we will always remember!!!
I bought a Camaro from here in May 2020 and theses folks are great. Honest & up front on everything. My sales rep Big John was super nice and knows what he is doing. Plus, they dont sell junk here... i looked at almost every car on the lot and they were all in great condition and i saw no evidence that anything had been covered up. I highly recommend dealing with these folks.
My Fiance was approved for a car and when it was time for him to get his tag 30 days later, he was told to bring the vehicle back by a bank investigator (who was very rude and nasty). We were not assisted any further after bringing the car back as far as them trying to help us get another or even giving us any suggestions of how to move forward. They refunded our down payment and basically sent us on our way. It was very embarrassing and we didnt feel valued at all!

They stayed past the closing time when I was having issues with insurance company and assisted me with all I needed to be able to drive off the lot. Do not do business with this company! This company tried to scam me because I am a woman. On Saturday 04 Jan 2020, I seen a 2017 ford explore 51k miles at Budget car dealerships an decided to check it out. Once I went in the office they immediately wanted to appraise my vehicle which I didn’t find a problem. On numerous occasions over an hour I asked how much the vehicle was and they refused to tell me stating “we will let you know once your car is appraised”. I found that odd but I really liked the SUV. So finally my car was finished being appraised and they wrote me a quote for $29k which I found extremely expensive. I told them I wasn’t interested and a course they tried to persuade me to buy the car by dropping the car to $28K. So once I got home I continue looking online and the same exact car from the same exact car dealership was only quoted for $26k. I felt so violated and insulted. This company tried to scam me for $3k. This is unacceptable and they should be ashamed of their company. I will be reporting this to corporate. Oh and by the way since I have been a Soldier for 15 years I will take it upon myself to contact everyone to try to get this company banned from Soldiers because if they will do it to me they will misuse and lie to innocent Soldiers by having them paying on a vehicle for 10 years that’s not worth it. If I could give this company 0 stars I would.

I dealt with a aleswoman named Tiffany. She was very well educated and courteous. She was willing to work with our budget and when we finally made our purchase she was thee every step of the way. If you are going to budget ask for Tiffany’s. Her customer service skills and knowledge of the car buying process made my family feel as though we walked away with exactly what we wanted for a price that was in our budget.

The customer service provided here was fantastic! I have never had a car buying experience go this smoothly before. They were all knowledgeable and if they did not know the answer to a question, they knew where to find it. Being a military member, I was hesitant to purchase a vehicle this close to base. I was told all the time that all the dealerships in the area were scammers. They proved that stereotype wrong, and I’m pleased to say that they will help you with whatever you need and toss in a few extra bonuses (if you know what to ask for). My only complaint is that they could do a better job at cleaning and maintaining the facility. A new coat of paint and new ceiling tiles would go a long way.With that I will say this, Keep up the good work!

We had an appointment to test drive & eval a car this morning @ 9:15...get there after driving approximately an hour and a half to be told that car was sold at 9:30 the night before. WTH...thats fine, but a phone call would have been appreciated!! We would have been glad to at least turn around and go home!! Instead we get an excuse of one sales guy booked the appointment & someone else sold it-- no excuse!! There should be a system or communication between the salesman to alert when this happens. But they did show us a vehicle just traded in, not evaluated by the mechanic-- still literally with trash inside. Absolutely not impressed...just wasted time & gas too.

If you have bad credit this is not the place to go unless you have a huge down payment. Was called by sales man stating I am preapproved after explaining my credit was bad and only had 500 down, plus no means of transportation to get to the facility at that time. It all was waste of time to be told they couldnt get me in a vehicle unless I had a 4000 down payment

Lied about the Carfax on the vehicle back in 2019 of Nov. I had bought a 17 Dodge challenger from them and the sales person told me that the carfax was good and clean. When I looked it up myself It had been in a bad wrecked where the frame was bent up really bad. Only problem with it you could see was that the 3 clips of front bumper was damaged. So I said alright I can replace that easily, come to find out in was a lot of structural damage to the whole front end of the car. Took it back an management said there was nothing tht could be done about it. I asked about the carfax twice the guy never showed me, he told me it was all good and clean.

Trading my 2002 Honda Civic which I got an super low price for but hey it’s an old car can’t complain. But what I can complain about is how this company is not big enough to be filled with a lot of amazing people they have amazing cars good prices the cars are clean the service is awesome come on guys you guys can get you a great car I can tell because first impressions can tell the whole story! Do not listen to what the salesmen say. My daughter really liked this 2009 Honda. First off we told them up front we would not be financing the car. We would just pay for it. Yet he did hard pulls on our credit which drops your score. When paying in cash that should not have been needed. Second problem was that the car she liked had a little bit of shake in the front end when you hit 55 and a check engine light. Jerome told us that if we bought the car that day he would make an appointment right then and they would fix the problem. He did indeed set up an appointment but all they did was rotate the tires. When we complained we were told by management that it was bought as is and that was all they would do. We bought 2 cars from them in one day but we will NEVER go there again. I suggest you take your business elsewhere.
Our experience was absolutely horrible! All tires were bald...we were told to come back and get the car painted but the paint guy was never there, we were also told we were going to receive a $100 gift card and almost a year later were still waiting...customer service was great at the moment but when papers are signed and you drive away,they become unhelpful. Also we have a Nissan and they gave us a Infinity car key and they told us were going to get a second key but never received it and when you ask they get upset, so we stop asking. If you decide to buy here, PLEASE check the price of the vehicle before hand, prices are not placed on the windows. Carmax gave us a way better experience and the customer service went above and beyond!

Clearly they have no intention of doing so because I bought this car THREE MONTHS AGO, I have the paperwork, and still nothing!Original post:They are unwilling to fulfill contractual obligations.My husband and I purchased a car from them, initially we had no issues and an overall good experience. We got it inspected and three of the tires and the brakes needed to be replaced. We signed for three tires and the brakes, they replaced only the brakes and two of the three tires.I was told by the mechanic to contact budget to remedy this, and for A MONTH AND A HALF I have been given the run around, and they have moved to flat out ignoring me. A car’s a car people, just go somewhere where they will actually do what they signed for, because if they’re going to stiff us over a tire, not telling what else is going on.
I have to say my experiance with Budget Auto Sales has changed from what I said earlier. If you didnt read the first review dont worry about it because Matt and Assaud ( Im sorry if I missspelled your name) were great! I was being very aggressive and demanding and they still helped my daughter and I figure out where things went wrong. Be very careful with these guys and make sure you take the vehicle of interest for a full inspection before making a purchase. I purchased a 2011 VW Tiguan on June 16, 2019. On August 5, 2019 the ac compressor went out on the vehicle. I called and spoke with the new manager and was told that they couldnt do anything to help me. They seemed very nice at first, of course their job is to sale vehicles. Theyll tell you that all vehicles go through a full inspection before putting them on the lot which wasnt true. The vehicle needed a oil change and didnt have much fluids at all. I feel hussled but it was my fault for not getting it checked. Im a woman and wouldnt want anyone else to experience this. I paid $11k for the vehicle and have to pay an additional $1k to get my car fixed and also look at your contact before signing. They charge $799.50 for paperwork. They also sent my documents to the wrong address.

Service was terrible i filled out an application and they immediately started running my credit for a nissan Altima. I came in to purchase a chevy impala. They ran my credit with over 6 lenders without even telling me. When i asked the manager why he said they always run for a morr expensive vehicle and they can change it later. I know i would have been approved for the impala it was only $9000. They dropped my credit score by 15 points and never even consulted with me. I told them i was done and not to try any morr lenders and as i leave i get a notification from yet another bank. They ran the last application anyway. I would not recommend them at all.
Don’t bother wasting your time shopping here. There’s much cheaper options for getting auction cars in this area. Plus the “helper” they got has been screwing up cars for YEARS.. don’t fall for the promises or think of letting them try to secure financing for you! Bring your own IF you decide you like the car.. only after having a real mechanic check out the vehicle prior to you signing ANYTHING. Shouldn’t have to say all this... but you do nowadays 🤷🏼♂️
STAY VERY FAR AWAYThe worst experience at a Car Dealership in my life. Car was sold to me with knotted and seperating tires. All staff with the exception of one manager was rude the entire time. Car was sold me and then taken back because of a mistake the salesman made based upon my income. When calling the business no one was ever available and the clerk was always rude. Very unprofessional establishment and will not hesitate to take advantage of you. Again, go to a different dealership this one does not deserve your business.

Worst experience ever!! STAY AWAY FROM BUDGET! they treat you like garbage! theyll lie in your paperwork then get you in trouble with the BANKS so then the banks/dealership will EMAIL you saying to return the car in 24 hours. I had to get my lawyer involved because they took advantage of us!! when we first bought the car, the finance guy sat there and spit his chew in a garbage can while we were in front of him signing a contract then tried to shake our hands!! GROSS!! Our sales man FELL ASLEEP in the back seat when we took the car for a test drive! they said the car was brand new, come to find out, the tires were knotted and had to be replaced! who sells a car with tires like that?? This whole business is super sketchy. Everyone just sits around outside and smokes away and will smoke right in your face! Weve had to call up here multiple times to talk to Jake and every time he was too busy to talk to us and whoever answers the phone is SO RUDE! We were tired of Jake ignoring our calls for the rude email he sent demanding the car back, so we decided to come up to Budget in person. He was sitting in his cubicle lounging around! this place is a joke!! STAY AWAY AND TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!! they dont even deserve 1 star.
Just left there. I did not and will not be purchasing a vehicle from them. There was a salesman stalking us from the time we got out of our vehicle and even after we asked him to give us some time and wed let him know if we have any questions. Even once we told the salesman we had a pre-approval for x amount of money he was pushy to get us to buy a truck that was over the amount. This truck has bald tires and is $11,000 over priced. We were avidly interested in the truck until we heard the price. We said Thank you but no thank you and were walking to our vehicle when the salesman yells to stop us with his manager trying to convince us that its a good price for the truck and that we should try to get a loan from a different company. Most of the vehicles were locked and the one that we got in smelled bad. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

Do not purchase a vehicle from here!! They rig them up just enough for you to think you are getting a good deal. Shortly after you purchase the vehicle everything starts to fall apart and they dont want to fix anything. They say you shouldve purchased the warranty but the warranty does not cover the items that have fallen apart because they used some type of cheap glue to hold everything together long enough to make a sale.Save your hard earned money and buy from a reputable company who will not screw you over.

My experience with Budget Car sales of Columbus has been horrible!!! Management there is a joke!!! First I noticed that the van that we were looking at was online for a markdown price of $19000 (est) and they were trying to sell it to me for $25000! When I went to the General Manager about this, he looked it up and then removed the van from the website even though I was able to take a picture of the vehicle I didnt have the VIN. The second thing, they agreed to pay off my car (minus the gap/warranty) and I would not have any negative equity on the van. Well it is weeks later, I get all the information for the van, I call to ask why my name (had another signer) is no where on the paperwork. Apparently their title clerk left off my name, but had to wait for the title to come back before it could be corrected. I waited weeks for the title to be processed and mailed and so forth. Finally able to have the title returned to Budget for the correction, I find out that Budget will not correct the title until they receive $1137 (the amount of the gap/warranty coverage, since they overpaid, even though that wasnt in any of our paperwork). I were not expecting a refund of any kind due to the fact that the paperwork stated they were only paying a certain amount, not the total balance but the lesser of the two due to removing of the gap/warranty coverage. Budget has had several different stories in regards to this money, first it was a lien on the car (which there was none), then supposedly it was agreed they would over pay the balance and I agreed to give them the $1137 (which was untrue, I wasnt expecting any money whatsoever). Now they refuse to fix the title, until they get the money and whats worse is they got snippy with me in regards to this money stating that if I didnt give it to them that they would contact the District Attorney (which an arbitration agreement was signed). I would like to kno how many more people they have done this too. I would not recommend them to anyone, NO ONE. this is no way to get business. I wish now that I would hv looked at the reviews for Budget before purchasing the van I now have... I would hv stayed far away from them. I am also going to write a review for the BBB (even though it may do nothing). Stay far away from this company... they are PROFESSIONAL RIP OFF ARTISTS!!!

If i could give no stars i would!!! Dont waste your time here!!! We were looking at a truck online. Drove to look at it and the truck was NOT in the condition it showed or said online. The truck had a crack in the window and thousands more miles the tires were bald and one was missing the hub cap! Then the manger said he knew and one of the employees has been driving it! Worst general manger in the world!!! Did not care for a second to see why we(the customer) was mad! Or even acted like he wanted to sell us a car. Which is why i thought they were there! .......Go somewhere else!!!

My name is Ronnie and I am beyond happy about my 2012 nissan altima getting fixed all Thanks To Matt at budget! My car had some issues and it took a while for budget to get it straightened out. The warranty that came with my vehicle had made some mistakes and Matt solved the issue and is now getting fixed! I will never go back to the Budget car dealership. The staff does not listen to what you have to say when you tell them what you are looking for. I specifically told the representative what I was looking for and the price range I was looking in. The only thing he was interested in showing me were cars completely different from what I wanted, and TWICE the price that I gave him. His response: Well we can always finance, dont you want to build some credit with a loan? No! That was why I had told the guy that I wanted to pay cash for a vehicle. Then when he decided to show me the used cars, reluctantly, the cars were pieces of junk! Just because I am a female doesnt mean I dont know vehicles. Oh yeah, and yall really need to consider hiring a marketing manager because your commercials SUCK! Im tired of hearing their remixed, stuttering, pieces of crap commercials.

Consumers are being scammed and ripped off by this fraudulent company. They take your money and sell lemons. They sold my friend a car with a bad engine. She had her car 2.5 weeks and the head gasket blew. The cars odometer showed 48k miles, but the Nissan dealer said it actually had over 160k miles. Budget didnt want to honor the so called extended 72k warranty. So warning...DO NOT BUY HERE!

Nice environment but untrustworthy employees was was told nothing was wrong with the car I purchased, turns out the transmission & starter were going bad. So if youre purchasing from here get it checked out within the first month so you can return it.
My only complaint is that they did a horrible job detailing (they called it) the car. Still lots of old pet hair, dirt under the seats, and they didnt dust the dashboard or instrument panel. If you buy from Budget, plan to clean it out yourself.

This was a horrible experience.. I drove 95 miles just to come to this lot, I called before coming to make sure they would be open knowing most lots are closed on Sunday and a rep confirmed they would also store hours show this location being open Sunday from 12pm-5pm. I get here at 2pm and they are closed. A huge waste of my time and gas.
It was kind of a rush. It wasn’t until I got home that I noticed some stuff like the front tires need replacement and roof cargo has a broken piece. Other than that it was an okay service.

2022-05-01Did the online appraisal and was offered a good amount to pay off my loan. Truck is a year old and had bought it brand new. Once they test drove they offered 5K less than what was online. Truck is in perfect condition with not damage whatsoever. When I asked why they came up with less than what was online, their response was “we had to check with our manager” which made no sense. Not to mention they were rude as well. Guys here are sharks.

2022-04-15Do not go to this unprofessional dealership. I was contacted by the dealership for them to buy my car by Brad Ellis. When I talked to him I told him I HAVE to get payoff. He assured me he could get that. When I came in with my perfect condition car the next day, he offered me $3k less and told me that he could buy a brand new rav4 for $29k. When I asked him why did he tell me he could pay it off then, his response was “I didn’t know you could buy a new one for $29k til just now”. Then basically told me to have a good day. I told him I didn’t appreciate him wasting my time and lying to me, he didn’t apologize, just said “have a good day” so basically get out of my office. He was rude from the minute we walked in the door. He literally asked me why did I show up and interrupt his show. I will never step foot in that place again.

2022-02-18Went to almost every car dealership in columbus, and happened to drive by this place and walk in. It was definitely a blessing in disguise. I had Randy as my salesman and he is the absolute best, I threw all the other salesman cards away out of my wallet and hes the only one Im keeping in contact with. He got me a 2015 Nissan versa in near perfect condition and dropped it down over $3,000. Even though I didnt have the money to pay for it yet they still sent me home with the car. I couldnt be happier and have no complaints.

2021-12-10I had the best experience with budget car sales! A guy name Randy assisted me with my new vehicle. He had a lot of patience with me and made sure that I got the vehicle that I really wanted! You can tell that he loved what he do and wasn’t just there for the money!! 2022-04-01They told me I was approved and I gave them my money and told them that I would be back to pick up my pickup the next day they said that I needed a trade-in and another driver to be on my contract.??? I dont want to give them my car for little or nothing while paying full price for there vehicle.

2021-12-12I had the greatest experience ever!!!! It wasn’t like my experience with most dealerships. Kolby was absolutely amazing and very helpful, he definitely made this experience as stress free as possible. I told him what I was looking for and he made it happen, I will definitely be recommending him and the other sales personnel to friends and family.

2022-01-18Paid for a car! drove it home found several issues, one the ac was blowing cold none stop, the back seat didnt go back and forth, the front bumper was missing several clips that holds it on. I Was told they didnt have to fix anything on the car and there no return policy but I paid the 800 for the dock - inspection and 3100 for a warranty. I only had the car two days Saturday and Sunday. Drove it straight back Monday. Horrible experience.and poor quality

2022-01-08I found a car that I was interested in but Budget is not local to me. I called and inquired about the car and the salesman Kolby, was incredibly helpful. He answered all my questions about the vehicle, took pictures and video for me- even test drove it for me. He really went above and beyond in my opinion. Most salesman dont have time or want to put in the effort. I ended up buying the car but probably would not have if it werent for Kolby. He really exudes customer service! Thank you!
