Front desk staff is very friendly and caring. Room is ok as per price as need to stay 1 night. It is quite. Location is excellent as all eating places and Target Mall is at walking distance.

When we first got there after checking in the elevator wreaked of cigarettes and there are clearly posted No Smoking signs everywhere. There are signs on No dogs over 15lbs and there were plenty of guests with bug dogs well over 15lbs. Now let me get started about the room(406). The door to the room doesn’t shut all the way you have to slam it. It doesn’t have a working lock. The bathroom door handle and Lock is completely broken. The handle is hanging off the door. The door to the bathroom was split. The trim piece around the shower head was gone. The towels were wet when we arrived. The sink doesn’t drain. The bed only has 1 sheet no covers. The AC doesn’t work and it wreaked of smoke in the room. The TV was barely mounted to the wall without falling. Pieces of the wood floor were missing. The AC unit had pieces of wood in between the unit and the wall. The bed is the worst bed ever slept in. Overall the experience was miserable. You couldn’t pay me to stay here again. Didn’t even want to argue with the people I was so disappointed. Just left my room key at the front desk and left. DO NOT STAY HERE.
Room poorly cleaned. A roach ran by when i walked in my room. All the towels had stains some looked like they were easily removed. Floor had a dried up spill on it that was sticky

We were here a few months ago and had no probs with anything. Staff was really nice, friendly and not at all judgy. Met a few people in our area of the place and hung out with them a bit, some really nice people stay here. Bed was clean, sheets were ok, no burn marks or holes. Towels worked, not real soft but this isnt 500 a nite either. Bathroom was clean, the shower had room enough for 2 with lots of good head room. We took a ton of pics, but most would get me in trouble and I dont want to motel mad at me, since I hope to be back, so not many pics. I did find a great thrift shop, and found a Lakers jersey there. I also got to work a bachelor party at another place, Its also not a bad area if you get bored and want to go out and see whats up. Just be cool and dont get in anyones biz and they will leave you alone.
Bedbugs , I complained no rooms to change .. slept on my car the next day again didn’t want to change my room and blame be and other guests for the bedbugs ! They said we look couldn’t find…. As much as I know and I worked in hotel you need to call pets control asap and not got and see bc you not always can see them!!! Very bad costumer service !!!! Rude!
One of these worst places to stay in Atlanta. They’ve been “updating” for a year now, but everything is still nasty as hell.The pictures they show you online are nothing like the actual stay. They don’t give you enough towels. The shower curtains are nasty and hanging down, there’s spots all over the mattress, and food left in the fridge from the people before me! I wouldn’t dare pay $110 for this hotel!
Zero stars: Room had bed bugs. 5min-After checking in. I returned to the desk... to find the front desk person was high/ totally different and too inebriated to help us with another room.
Disgusting! The outside of the building looks like a prison. When we arrived the front door was locked and staff had to let us in- red flag. 🚩 The lobby was all white with no decorations, maybe 2-3 chairs. Felt very insane asylum-ish. But okay, I thought, maybe the rooms are nicer. When we were checking in I noticed they had a list of weird rules, and the first rule stated that if you wanted a refund for your stay you had to check out within the first 10 minutes after check in. That was red flag #2 🚩. But we kept walking. We got to our room and the door was literally covered in graffiti. It was completely drawn on in permanent marker. That was red flag #3. 🚩The whole building reeked of smoke. Our room was no exception. On top of that- the couch was torn to shreds, there were huge holes in the wall, the lights barely worked, and they didnt give us any soap. It was atrocious. I looked at my boyfriend and told him we had to leave, and we did. We left within the first 10 minutes, just like their weird sign said, and it has been weeks and we still havent gotten a refund. The staff is now lying and saying that we stayed the whole time so they wont give us a refund. Ha!! You couldnt pay me to stay there!! The staff clearly does not care about anything. Absolutely horrible, do not stay here!!
My stay was terrible. The staff was terrible and unhelpful. The rooms smelled like mold, which I came to find out there was mold. The toilet and shower were both broken. Booked for two nights. On the first night we turned the AC unit on, woke up and there was water everywhere. Explained the issue to the front desk and was told that someone would be up to fix it. Hours later the problem wasn’t fixed, so we spoke to them again and they told us they would move us to a different room. Hours later we were still in the same room with a leaking air conditioner. When I expressed to them that I would need a refund they finally put us in a new room. The door was jammed and no one could get in. The front desk got an attitude with me. The second room they put us in smelled terrible and there were feces in the toilet. We found mold in various spots of the room. I told my family to just grab their stuff and leave. We didn’t even stay the second night. Went to checkout and request a refund and they told me the only way to get a refund was to email a specific email and that there was no one I could contact and/or speak to. I emailed them for a refund and have yet to be refunded anything. Terrible experience. Wouldn’t even give it one star, but it made me.
False Advertising. Online they said, there was a room available with a deep soaking tub. Once checked in there was no tub in our room. The person at the front desk said that room did not exist, insisting we were wrong. They also tired to hustle us on the 10 minute checkout for refund. Wouldn’t even get any confirmation that the refund would be processed. Worst hotel and service I have received. Trash place, trash management. Do not go here the price isn’t worth it even if it’s minuscule.

Booked through Expedia for my daughter and daughter-in-law. At check-in (after midnight) they claimed there was no booking. My daughter showed the reservation. Then they claimed the booking was cancelled (no contact on that) due to a problem with my credit card. Thats a lie - the booking was a pay at arrival booking. The Expedia price was $65, they tried to charge $165! Had to pay as I didnt want my girls looking for a new hotel at 1 AM.The room was filthy. Talked with 3 staff members to rectify the situation and all of them were extremely rude.Read the reviews - others have had my experience and so many other horrible experiences, yet the owner replies thanking them for their review (EDIT: they just thanked me for this review. Do you think they even read it?). They simply dont care.PLEASE save yourself heartache and money...do not reward these people with your business.
Do not recommend! Smells musky/smoky. Not clean enough. Room needs a paint job really bad. Only gave us two towels, one wash cloth, and one hand towel for three people. By far the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Hotel reeks of cigarettes and, hard wood floor is sticky, toilet seat is broken, phone in my room is broken, TV is broken, no toilet paper in my room, water stinks, called front desk to let them know the “access card” for my directv was in valid and she told me to come at 10 am the next day to fix it. Check out is 11 btw. Rooms look nothing like the pictures. Absolute dump, would sleep in my truck before giving these crooks $10.
My partner and I called to book a room and the lady hung up in my face. Rudest thing ever done to me. We drove 5 hours only for her to be rude and nasty I wouldn’t advise anyone to book a room with them.
Positive: Nothing. Negative: This place was a pit. Toilet was running, someone had a stuffed a rag in tank. TV didnt work, asked 3 times to have it checked. No TV my whole stay. Room was not cleaned for the 4 nights I was there. Shower curtain was not level, water poured on floor.
Upon my check-in, I was told the room was one price, the front desk clerk ran my credit for a much larger amount than the price I was told. I refused to sign the necessary paperwork and asked for a refund. I was told I had to wait four business days before I would receive my refund. I asked why was I not told of a price increase and was told by the front desk clerk why didnt I ask about a price increase. Very poor customer service.
Positive: The only 2 positive things were it didnt have bedbugs and it is right off of the highway. Negative: Liked nothing about this hotel. Room only had 2 kid sized towels and 1 washcloth in it. Absolutely filthy. I had to buy cleaning supplies once I saw what the room was like... I bring my own towels but I practically had to beg for towels to clean their bathroom plus there was a roach in my room... The desk staff was really rude to my mom about the dryer being out of order until I went down and spoke to them and knocked his attitude down a notch. They dont come in to clean the rooms at all not even to change towels.
Going to start by saying I think a hostel would of been better than this hotel. Hotel lobby/hallways were stall air and humid. Get into room and this is what we got: only lights are the table lamps; bed had no pillows requested some and got 2; no mirror in bathroom and sink clogged; room wouldnt cool unless AC was at lowest setting of 61 degrees which then resulted in half the room flooding (couldnt be moved b/c hotel was sold out); one set of towels (asked for more but said had to wait until used the one set then can get more). Only plus was that is a 20ish minute walk (but not the safest area) to Truist Park and the shower had nice water pressure. Will NEVER stay here again and good luck on those that do!
Not a bad stay per se. Pictures are misleading and renovation looks as if it were starting to go an awesome direction and then was abandoned or stalled half way through. Cleaning was more done to the extent of sleeping in someones spare room as opposed to a hotel, but nothing tragic. Fridge was completely unusable and frozen shut. Biggest disappointment personally was that the tub was not that awesome picture posted nor was it even large enough to fully submerge a 5 foot tall body. Bed also super creaky. However the linens and towels were clean, toilet paper folded, beds made, ac worked, and the property was quiet and seemingly good enough energy to not feel inherently creepy. Not a bad experience over-all just may be a little closer to being priced at a nicer hotel than it actually is by 30 40 bucks a day.
I didn’t even get a chance to stay here. It was Wednesday morning 6/30 @ 8:50 am. I was calling the hotel to see what they had done to rectify all the negative reviews. And my very first contact was the receptionist answering the phone “Hello” I was kind of taken aback. I asked if this was the hotel? The answer was “Yea hold on” I was placed on hold. When she got back on the phone it was “Hello” again. I said “hi I saw your hotel online and the rooms look big a spacious. It looks like it was recently renovated. I did have some concerns however. I was looking at the reviews and and I was wondering what you guys have done to rectify the bad reviews, such as the bugs and dingy/dirty linens?” The answer was “what are you talking about” I then went to explain about the reviews “and really from my first experience in speaking with you I’m not sure this is really a place I want to stay” I was then told “okay bye” and hung up on. Girl you just lost a block of 11 rooms! Good job! Hope the owners actually do something about there business and it’s employees!

Dirty hotel I stayed two days was told my room would be cleaned over no one ever came. I ended up cleaning and bleaching my own room. I tried to call the front desk the phone didnt work. I felt trapped. The bed felt uncomfortable. This place gave me bad anxiety. The inspector and police came the place codes were all out of date. The lady at the desk was so nonchalant about it all like oh yea I know the codes are out. This place needs to be shut down Asap. They need to remodel and reopen. Please if you know of anyone that have stayed here please let their voice be heard. I normally dont like to provide bad reviews but it is the worst place I have ever stayed at.
Booked a room through Hotels.com and apparently this place does not accept them because we get yo the property and they have no booking with my name,phone number or confirmation number. Booked for 114 a night and the guy is like we have a room but it will be 205. This place is not even nice enough to justify paying 114, and he wanted us to pay that much is ridiculous. The guy at check in was rude and didn’t even try to find out what happened so yeah never again. Don’t book with this hotel.

I asked the staff for an iron and ironing board. She stated that some rooms have some and some do not. We danced around a language barrier for at least 2 minutes prior to that answer. Next morning I see the staff member speaking perfect English to the front desk guy.
The pictures online are very misleading. The room smelled like smoke and there was no water in the pool. The only thing in the lobby was a microwave and a TV. The room was so unsanitary upon arrival that we did not stay at this location.

Horrible rooms. Mold/mildew in bathroom. Holes in wall. Very dim/minimal lighting which may be intentional to keep you from seeing the condition of the room. Shower curtain too short so water went all over bathroom. Flooring peeling up. Pics VERY misleading.
I checked in on the 23rd and sliced my leg wide open on a 3 1/2 inch rusty metal blade hanging off my bed frame my child also did as well then was given a new room the next morning and my 15 year old opened the dresser and found a needle inside I have photos as well went and told management and he acted like it was nothing. Poor communication skills. Horrible smells in the lobby and the elevator. Roaches in the lobby.went to fill the fridge and found dead baby roaches just filthy and nasty.

I cant even rate this hotel. They cancelled our reservation before we even got to the hotel. Im sure they wanted more $$ as there were several events that weekend of June 6-19,2022! There was a big event in the Galleria shopping area + a rock concert at the Stadium, so we know exactly why they cancelled us - to get 4X the rate for the weekend!Other guest told us their rooms were dirty an not cleaned prior to check in. I think the pictures are completely fake as this does not look like the inside of the hotel we saw at all. They cost us $650 by cancelling our reservation the day we were supposed to check in.They couldnt supply us with a credit card receipt showing that our card didnt go through even though they used that as an excuse to cancel our reservation!The lobby was dirty. No furniture at all, not even a folding chair.They were rude and did not even help us find another hotel to stay at.Really interesting we didnt have a problem with another hotel at 4X the price....-5 rating for this hotel!Stay clear, you will be disappointed!
Do NOT stay here for any reason. Staff was rude and unwelcoming. We were given a room that was already being occupied by guests they didn’t know. I have never entered a hotel so dirty, and unhygienic. Im not even referring to the appearance, which is frightening as soon as you enter, Im referring to the lack of hygiene.When I arrived at the hotel, I had to climb stairs as the elevators were broken. Every floor I went up, the smell only got worse, on the stairs I found food leftovers, dog feces, and a lot of dirt!Upon entering the room, everything got worse. Clearly the sheets had already been used, they were crumpled, just stretched out on the bed, the smell was unbearable. I couldnt stay more than 10 minutes there.I had to cancel the reservation, and find another place. The pictures on the internet are very deceiving. The hotel is not old but it is filthy, it looks like an abandoned place. My advice is: stay away from this place.
Hotel with minimal cleaning, if you are on a long stay it does not include any service. Many people live permanently there.It is the cheapest in hotels of this category.It has only one elevator and it is insufficient.
Very dirty, they do not provide supplies (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, coffee, toilet paper, etc), the rooms stink, there are also strange people hanging around the hotel, which makes it extremely dangerous, it is a horrible place, with cockroaches, the carpet is very dirty there is garbage everywhere, it needs an urgent renovation, all the corridors and elevator stink horrible.
It is disgusting, everything is dirty, the bathroom is full of cockroaches, everything smells of tobacco.

2022-06-26Don’t stay at this hotel. The pics lie! The everywhere we looked was filthy. Our wall had stains on it the couch was torn and covered in stains the room is not ADA compliant. The halls smelled of marijuana and our room wreaked of cigarettes. It wasn’t clean with ashes on the nightstand. No coffee maker no shampoo no iron or ironing board. I booked through Hotels.com and neither one would refund my money. Also the door security lock was broken as you can see in the pics.

2022-05-28In the room for less than 10 minutes. Initially uninviting & shady environment. Was only in the room long enough to strip the bed which had a number of hairs along with other remnants of previous guests & stained sheets. Singular curtain which did not even cover the window, trashy elevator, smelled of weed/cigarettes (even though its a non-smoking facility), only 2 pillows in a king room for 2 guests, overall not a clean facility. The only good thing to come of our 10 minute stay, was the lack of resistance when we requested a refund. Would gladly give 0 stars if it was an option & urge anyone considering the stay here for cost or convenience to simply reconsider.

2022-05-28CHECK YOUR BEDS BEFORE ANYTHING!! I booked this room for a single night. The pictures online make it appear like a suitable place, but I can assure you that it isnt. All the curtains around the building were sun bleached. There are suppose to be 2 curtains per window, mine only had 1 and it didnt even span the whole window. The pool is drained. There is zero furniture in the lobby. The elevator had a musty smell. Walking into the room, it was the bare minimum. Bed, nightstand and a tv. First thing I did was check the bed. There were yellow stains on the sheets and pillow cases. There were also bodily hairs on the sheets and under the mattress cover. Absolutely disgusting. They have a 10 minute window from the time you check in to decide if you want the room, or not, for a refund. Use it wisely. The only good thing was no hesitation when asking for a refund.

2021-12-12If you’re looking for a nice looking hotel and for the room to be gorgeous you will want to look elsewhere. The room did the job for us as we just needed a room to sleep in and left in the morning to go explore BUT if you want a bunch of amenities this is not for you. Pool is drained and they only give two towels so we had to buy our own as well and use the washcloths they provided to dry the floor as water gets everywhere when you use the shower due to the curtain not wanting to close. If you need pitch back to sleep the light shines very badly through a crack under the door as well. The room was clean and smelled nice as well. The beds were also comfortable and the AC and fridge worked very very well.

2021-12-31Not recommended.This location welcomes pets, which you are subject to hear throughout the night. The carpet floors are stained, the furniture is ripped along with holes in the wall, the bedroom floors are with debris (including the elevator doors, which had an odor), the television was poorly mounted to the wall including the bathroom mirror (hanging), my sink was being held by a wooden block and my air conditioning unit was cracked open.It was uncomfortable to take a shower, and bath as I saw either mold or another substance which wasn’t pleasant to the eye. Overall, I paid for two nights and stayed one night (uncomfortably, but content) while the next morning returning to the desk to get a refund for the second night.The clerk offered to clean another room, I declined. She kindly refunded my second night, and I visited another hotel.

2022-04-20Do not stay here. Staff was rude. Elevators did not work half the time and when mentioned to staff they said again? Mold in multiple places in my room. No trash can or plunger in restroom. Floors were disgusting and sticky. Trash everywhere. Restrooms in lobby were out of order. No furniture in lobby. Trash outside the elevator (when it worked) including a used condom wrapper which took the staff 3 days to clean. Room smelled horrible. Telephone in room was busted. No cord to the telephone. Window framing was cracked. AC vent was busted. Outlets were half hanging off the walls and so much more I can write about. Even took pictures. I would not let my dying fish stay there.

The floors in outside the elevator were dirty , elevator flooring is coming up, hall on 4th floor hasn’t been vacuumed in days, our room was dirty with cigarette ashes and wreaked of cigarettes, the security door lock was broken. No coffee maker, no shampoo, no iron or ironing board, hold on the Barth room door, no mirror above sink so my husband couldn’t see shaving, the wood trim was missing off one of the night stands and the couch had stains all over it with torn fabric. It felt like we needed a penicillin shot after staying there. Don’t let the website pics fool you. I took pics of everything. We booked through Hotels.com and neither the Budegtel nor Hotels.com would refund our money. The room is actually a $25 per night hotel.

2022-06-12I was sketched out coming here. The building smelled slightly moldy. the man who helped my friend and I out was courteous. The price of two beds one night during a weekday was 74 dollars. The room was clean, though do not expect much besides a clean bed, microwave, functional TV with free wifi. The bathroom was clean. The location is based on the locals around the area.

2022-01-29If I could give this place Zero stars I would. They canceled my reservation, which I made through Expedia, then said they called me. Nice enough to charge me for 1 night at $70 instead of $114 which was $11 more a night than my original reservation. Originally gave me an occupied room then gave me a new room. The headboard was not screwed on. The baseboards were filthy and nothing in the room was update. The sofa chair was filthy! The pictures are not what you see and have been photoshopped. I walked out and Im short $70. I would rather eat that money than sleep in that hotel.

2022-05-08Rooms are dirty and arent really worth the cost. There are bugs little red bugs in the room that bite hair and other particles on sheets and towels in bathroom. Floor is super dirty needs to be swept as well as mopped. Not covid safe. I begin to itch as soon as I came into the room and the hotel. I wouldnt recommend anyone waste any money or time at this hotel. Needs an upgrade including I staff.
